I had already lost 40 lbs for my aunts wedding in this photo and was pretty pumped to find a dress in a size 24!⁠ Little did I know I’d go on to lose another 120 lbs!⁠ I went from 322 lbs at my highest to 160 (maintaining right now in low 170s)⁠ Went from wearing a size 28 at my largest to a size 8 now.⁠ It’s cliche to say “keep going” & “don’t stop" Because you’ll stop. I didn’t tell anybody, I disappeared from social media, and keeping my secret was easy. ⠀ One day at the end of my first month, I confessed to one of my friends that I was trying to lose weight. She became very excited and decided to lose weight too. ⠀ We became accountability buddies. We shared photos of our meals, workouts, worries, and moments of happiness. ⠀ In the beginning, it was kind of cool, but in a week, she complained: ”It's so tedious! Does that mean that I shouldn't eat chips and drink alcohol for the rest of my life? How boring!” ⠀ And later that day, she had a great night with friends, sushi, and wine. She was happy and didn't regret it. Good for her! ⠀ But the next day she was very disappointed and angry with her body. She said: ""I gained 1 kg! Why?!"" I explained that soy sauce salt and alcohol did their trick with retained water. ⠀ In her mind, it wasn’t fair. She was impatient and was longing for fast results. One day she followed her diet and did exercises. The other day she ate chips at night. She couldn’t resist her old habits, and her weight fluctuated. ⠀ She told me that it's her nature, perhaps to disguise her annoyance. All she knew for sure: she always was and always will be around 80 kg. She said, ""I am beautiful the way I am.” And that was true. She is a very beautiful woman. ⠀ So she quit. And I left alone with my thought: I'm beautiful the way I am, but also I can change. ⠀ I reached my goal in four months. My friend didn't. This transformation post just hits different 🥺✨ After starting my journey in 2017, I returned to stagecoach 50 pounds lighter the next year! (Second pic) I was so happy & never felt better! In 2019 I popped up a whole 150 pounds lighter! (third pic) I had just reached my goal weight of 150 & had lots of loose skin from the rapid weight loss (150 lbs down in 1 year) & completely lost my boobs 😅 This was the first year I got to FINALLY share clothes with all my sisters 🥹💖 it was EVERYTHING ✨ Fast forward 2 years of stagecoach being cancelled in 2020 & 2021 😷, 2022 I came back even happier & healthier at 138 lbs!! Since then, I had my loose skin removed, got breast implants, dedicated 2 years to building muscle & reconstructing my body, & competed in 2 bodybuilding shows which has allowed me to maintain my muscle definition & low weight!! How did I actually start my journey? It was about committing myself to certain aspects. I needed to trust myself that I could get out of my comfort zone and workout when I could, and to make my own food when I could. I didn’t have much support where I could rely on somebody to push me into going or putting effort into the foods I ate. • Knowing the gym was intimidating, I committed myself to going regardless of feeling embarrassed. I was extremely lost in the beginning, I didn’t know a thing about doing anything right, I just wanted to do anything that could help me. • It was the action of going to the gym and putting effort into the foods I ate that then led me deeper into what actually started my journey. I accepted I’d mess up, but of course I wanted to learn and do things right.
