Eldritch Octo! König x Male reader
Tumblr media
I want an x male reader with eldritch König. I always find x female :(( so I made one for myself.
Can be read as Gn! reader but targeted audience is male or people with he/ him or he/ they
Warning: Translated German, Non-con?, Forceful relationship/ toxic relationship.
Striking and sliding your legs out of the wreckage of your teams ship. Coughing out blood and sea water as you suck in a breath.
Burying your head in the sand of an island you managed to get onto.
The sand was cold. So was the air. You were cold. You turn your body to look at the wreckage or what's left of the wreck. A few scraps float to the island you sat on.
There were no other survivors or none you could see. You didn't even know why and how this happened.
You were just down at the docks then you heard an alarm go off making you sprint upstairs to the main deck. Seeing the panic and screams of your team running around.
You tried to ask what's happening but no one answers. All to consumed with whatever happened to make them panic this hard. They we're all scrambling around. You could hear some Shooting rounds some shouting orders others running past you to get downstairs.
Then everything went blank you couldn't remember what else happened. Just a loud bang and you wake up floating on some scrap then you saw this island. You must've passed out. It's a miracle your even alive I mean you were unconscious the whole time.
Did an enemy pull out a surprise attack? That could be possible. Was there something wrong with the ship? Also possible..
You let out deep shaky breaths. You were probably the only survivor on that ship. You tilt your head from side to side looking at this lone island you were in. Behind you looked almost like a jungle you couldn't see past the bushes and trees contributing to how it was night. It was eerie
Weird. It looked like a huge island. It could possibly fit a colony or small village. He couldn't remember seeing this on the map.. Is this an unmapped island?
You stay silent. That's odd...no sounds of animals not birds, not predators or prey hell not even crickets. How could an island be this big but no animals?
Your thoughts were cut short when you hear someone walk on the sand. You flinch swiftly tilting your body to see who it was an enemy? A teammate? A wild animal?..
You sit up. Wait.. That's not.. Right..
It's a 6'10 man walking towards you. Wearing military uniform? A hood hiding his whole face only showing his eyes.
"W-What the-"
You mumble out. Was there a search team already? Why was a lone military man in this island?
"Hello, schatz. I finally get to see you"
He spoke with an Austrian Accent. He spoke with familiarity like he knew you. But you didn't know him. You shakily stood up when he was close to you. Carefully balancing yourself and getting a position to run if this man tries anything.
"Wh-Where is your team? Where are the other soldiers? Who are you? Are you a search and rescue?"
You quickly asked narrowing you eyes in suspicion. Which only made the man before let out a gutteral laugh.
It made him smile seeing you look so strong and cautious even getting in position to sprint away from him. Adorable he doubts you'd even have the time to process what he would do before you could even start running.
"No no schatz, I'm not here to rescue you. I'm here to finally make you mine!"
The Man says normally a glint in his eye. Enthusiasm in his voice as he steps closer.
"Excuse me? This is no time to fucking joke- who the fuck are you?! I swear if I-"
"I'm König" he cuts you off, "there's no need to tell me your name I already know everything about you, bitte come here. Let me finally hold you"
You step back as the man.. Named König held out his arms expectantly waiting for you.
"What the fuck are you talking about?! No! Where are your soldiers?! W- How do we get out of this damn island?!"
You hiss. Screaming at König the hint of authority, anger and fear in your tone. Which made König's enthusiasm fall. He didn't like that tone you were giving him.
He hoped you'd be more submissive.. More cooperative with him. You can see under his mask, his mood shifts.. So did König's tone something more mocking, angry, sinister.
"Ruhige Schlampe, You don't leave the island. I won't allow you too meine liebe. You are confused, it's sad you don't remember what happened"
He responds. Chuckling as he doesn't waste no time to quickly walk over to you and grabbing your arm.
"Das ist traurig Schätzchen, it's okay I'll tell you. I destroyed your ship. I killed everyone. So I can finally have you."
König cooed in your ear. Placing his gloved hand in your cheek.
Your stood frozen.
Is this guy joking? There's no way- but he
"Nein, I am not joking. I can feel you are scared do not worry I will take care of you. I will keep you here in this island.. With me.. Forever"
König hummed as he wraps his arms around you. He just read your mind.. Just when you were about to open your mouth.. To scream, to tell him that this isn't some funny joke.
You felt something wriggling under König's mask. Then something wet and sticky hit your face then multiple wrapping around your face.
You let out a yelp being quickly muffled as you look down and see tendrils.. Octopus like tendrils wrapping your face.
After an agonizing moment of feeling wet slimy tentacles slink around your face some even going in your mouth.. And you felt something touch your lips.. This felt so uncomfortable.. It felt so.. Disgusting..
Then König pulls back leaving circle like marks on your face. You let out a sharp gasp you couldve pushed König but He was holding onto you. You couldn't even move.
"WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT WAS THAT?!? GET OFF ME GODDAMIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
You screamed so pathetically. It was music to König's ears he had dreamed of this day for so...so long. To hear you whine under him. To make you be his. He knew you'd put up a fight that's what he likes about you.. So strong, brave... He go on and on about why you even had the privilege to get his attention.
But he did this for you. Making an island and killing off anyone who'd get in König and your romance life. This was enough of a testament for his love for you. And you would understand it. You should be grateful.
He deserves you now that he'd shown his deep adoration for you! He'd make sure you will.
"Do not be scared schatz, we can be together of you just let me do this. Bleiben wir zusammen"
König pulls you closer to him. Burying your face in his chest muffling your protests even as you pushed and pulled away and at König he wouldn't budge. He didn't even care if your wet body soaks his clothes.
"You are cold yes Mein Mann?, do not fret I will make you a viable house you can live in"
He smiles under his mask. You could tell by the way König insanely looks down at you.
His arms around you felt crushing even as he forces you to lay at the sand with him.
"Is this island nice for you? I made it for you. nur für dich, let me keep you warm. You must be so tired."
Note: so like first post.. Nice.
But if I wrote something wrong or missed something about the German.. Tell..
And idk if I'm making part 2 I'm laaazzzyyy.

PART TWO TO THE APOTHECARY WIFE, imagine that Mizu and her Wife are at the cliff during that festival with Ringo and then the four fangs attack resulting Mizus wife getting cut in the waist which made Mizu angry. (Mizu with a wife makes me happy)
pairing: mizu x fem!apothecary!reader
warning(s): blood, swearing
a/n: ooooohhhhh protective mizu how I love you. also, anon, I love you too thank you for allowing me to indulge in this. reader refers to mizu as male when around others <3
summary: after mizu finally allowed you to travel with her, you arrive on Tanabe Island to catch a boat. when the four fangs find her and you’re injured.. let’s say mizu’s not happy.
word count: 982 words / 5,223 characters
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
you're glancing around, your arm hooked around mizu's as you walked. you had came to tanabe island to find a boat; a boat you had been denied until their festivities were over. which means you were stuck here until morning.
It wasn’t all bad; it really wasn’t. time you got to relax with mizu, and a rest from your travels wasn’t bad at all.
“(y/n),” mizu says rather softly, making your head come up to meet her eyes. “why don’t you go with ringo? explore a little.”
your eyes narrow. you know what she’s attempting to do. she’s attempting to keep you out of danger, which, you appreciated. but at the same time, you didn’t want to be coddled like you weren’t a grown woman.
“I’m not leaving your side,” your grip tightened on her arm. “god knows you are going to get yourself hurt again, and I need to be there and help you.”
mizu sighed. she knew she wasn’t getting through you.
“fine, fine,” she grumbled. “but leave five feet from my sight and you'll be going right back here.”
you nod, laughing a little, “I’ve got it, mizu,” you whisper back. “where are you planning to go, anyway?”
“to train,” she replied, taking your hand and leading you out into the snowy forest. you watched your wife train often. you enjoyed seeing her do it; knowing that she was secretly trying to show off for you.
you sat on a tree stump, one she had cut down previously. you watched her precise movements, her clean cuts. you loved the way her mind worked… it worked in such a different way from yours.
perhaps that’s why you fit so well together.
she had a mind for strategy, for battle. you could see her gears spinning in her mind, yet never know when she would strike, and where.
and you had a mind for healing. you knew what worked well together, and how to heal even the deepest of wounds. you were so different; yet you're love burned deeply.
a rustle in the woods piqued your interest.
mizu didn’t seem to hear it; she was too focused on her work.
you couldn’t see anyone in the forest, so you assumed it was just a small animal. something you didn’t need to worry about. you didn’t dare tell mizu; it would only worry her.
after a while, you two had settled down by a fire. you were nestled up against your wife. mizu was holding your hands, gently playing with your fingers. she didn’t have her glasses on, not her hat, there was nothing to hide between you two.
you knew her secrets. her flaws. you loved her despite them.
when the beating of the drums came, your wife looked ready to get up, and to go and see what was happening.
but she couldn’t. a sword stabbed through the tree, almost piercing her head.
you jumped up, sticking close to your wife. she had one arm around your waist, her other hand held her sword. she had her glasses back on, her eyes narrowed to the men that were approaching.
you're eyes were wide with shock.
the four fangs.
“you can take those off,” one man hissed, raising an eyebrow as his sword pointed at her. “we know what they hide.”
mizu didn’t speak, at first. she tore off her glasses, tossing them to the side. revealing the blue eyes of what they perceived as a demon.
she leant down and whispered to you,
“go. go and run, hide somewhere I can find you when I’m done here.”
you glanced at her for a moment. you saw the determination in her eyes, the strength.
you thought about it, for a moment.
but you had made your decision—you promised you weren’t going to leave her, and you were a woman of her word.
“no,” you hiss, “I’m here with you, my love, and I’m not leaving you.”
“a samurai traveling with his wife… traveling with…”
he paused, gazing at you.
“weakness.”
the four fangs had cornered them onto a cliff. there was four of them… and one samurai. they were indubitably fucked.
your eyes shot wide and your body folded with one slash to your waist.
you fell Into the snow, blood spilling from your wound. you knew it wasn’t a deep wound; but if it wasn’t treated soon you would bleed out in the snow.
mizu stared at you for a moment, her eyes wide and looking as if she wanted to cry.
though it quickly turned to one of anger, looking back at the four fangs—
“you're going to fucking regret that.” she hissed, engaging in fight with the fangs.
she took each of them down relentlessly; her anger evident from the way this man had hurt you.
she had the last one pinned to the grass, a sword at his chest. he was bleeding from multiple points—specifically where she had sliced his arm clean off, ready to do the same with his head if he tried anything.
“you'll never fucking think of touching my wife ever again,” she narrowed her eyes, stabbing the sword straight through his chest. he screamed in pain, his body convulsing before it eventually gave out.
you were still alive, cleaning your wound as best as you could.
mizu walked over to you, covered in the four fangs blood. she lifted you from the snow, placing you much more comfortably in her lap.
“.. you're going to be okay, right?” mizu asked the question, as if needing you to say yes.
“yes, my love,” you brushed a hand across her cheek. “my wound isn’t deep. It will need to be stitched, though..”
“you have no need to worry about that,” she tucked a strand of hair out of your face. “I’ll handle everything, my darling. you need to heal if we are to travel, soon.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a/n: okay so tell me that when mizu said she wanted to go see the “fun” she wasn’t talking about seeing naked women. TELL ME SHE WASNT I DARE YOU (also mizu having a wife makes me happy, too)

How about strawhats with a reader who didn’t realise they ate a devil fruit, and they and the crew only realise when either they discover their ability or they start to drown when they accidentally fall (or get thrown by an enemy) overboard? (Tried to leave the devil fruit ability either up to you, or have the ask in a way that you didn’t have to create a devil fruit 😅)
Tumblr media
I finally found a way to work this old ask into a request! Sorry to whoever sent it in originally, I just could not come up with a plot for it until I got this one. Apologies for there being little to no yandere content here.
You Are What You Eat
Straw Hats x GN!Reader
1.8k words
Tumblr media
Loud growls echoed through the forest. Not the deafening roars of a predator about to rip you apart, no, but the rumbling of a deprived stomach demanding sustenance.
You really shouldn’t have taken off into the woods without grabbing a snack first, but you couldn’t help it. After days of being at sea, you were eager to explore the new island you’d stopped at. Robin said you all would need to split up to find the ruins she was looking for, so you took initiative and threw yourself into adventure the second the ship was close enough for you to be able to make the jump.
Thus far, you’d had no luck. You hadn’t even stumbled across an abandoned pathway or ancient tools. It’s hard to believe this island had ever been populated at some point. Maybe this wasn’t the right one?
At this point you weren’t even really looking for ruins, you just wanted something to eat. Unfortunately, this search was having similar results. Nothing. It appears all the fruit trees on this island are still in a flowering stage, and you didn’t know enough about foraging to be taking your chances on root vegetables in the ground. Restaurants were obviously out of the question, much to your chagrin.
There was some rustling in the tree above you. Your head snaps up to assess the situation, only for something to nail you right in the face. Your knees buckle and you fall on your ass, cradling your face after the blow.
Cracking open an eye, you try to find who just assaulted you, but you were definitely here alone. Looking at the ground, you discover what your assailant really was. A fruit.
Pain is forgotten instantly as you snatch up the strange looking fruit. It’s a light blue color and reminds you of a ball of yarn with the way the skin is textured. You have zero clue as to what kind of fruit it’s supposed to be, but as your stomach growls even louder, you can’t find it in you to care.
Using your shirt to wipe it off to the best of your ability, you take a bite as you get back on your feet. Your face scrunches up instantly. The taste… isn’t great, but it’s not the worst either. If you had to describe it you would say it tastes like an uncooked spaghetti squash. The real problem is the texture. It’s completely stringy on the inside, making you feel like you’re eating a wet clump of yarn.
But… beggars can’t be choosers. You’re starving, and you don’t want to let it go to waste either, so you power through it. As you’re choking down the last bite, a chill runs down your spine, making every nerve light up in a tingling sensation. Then, as quickly as the feeling began, it disappeared.
Weird. Whatever.
“(Y/N)! Where are you?!” Luffy’s voice cut through the thick woods.
Finally! You were starting to wonder how you’d gone so long without running into anyone else. Running towards the sound of his voice, you call back to him, “Over here!”
It’s not long before he comes into view, along with the rest of the crew. Luffy grins and runs to meet you halfway, “Why’d you run off so quick? I wanted to go with you!” He lifts you up into his arms and spins you around gleefully.
“Did you? Sorry, I thought we were all gonna split up,” you scratch at the back of your head and wonder if you misheard.
“We were, but then we found the ruins Robin was looking for straight away, so we’ve just been looking for you this whole time!”
Mortification washes over you immediately and you hang your head in shame, “You’ve got to be kidding me! I ran right past it, didn’t I?”
“You sure did! Pretty dumb, huh? Zoro didn’t even get as lost as you did!” Luffy set you down, smiling the whole time while he mocked you.
“Watch it!” You swatted at him, not that he particularly cared or even reacted to it.
“Now that you’re done being lost, we really need to get going before it gets any later,” Nami was tapping her foot impatiently, no doubt itching to find the treasure rumored to be hidden there.
“Okay, okay, I’m sorry! Let’s go!” You wanted to move on from this blunder as quickly as possible, thank you very much. There were a few chuckles from the group as you marched on ahead, but they mercifully didn’t tease you about it anymore.
“Are you hungry? You ran off before I could hand you your lunch,” Sanji sidled up next to you, offering a sweet smile while extending the masterfully packed bento towards you. The cook shot a dirty look over his shoulder to your captain, “Don’t worry, I made sure that he couldn’t get his hands on it.”
You’re sure you missed a battle of epic proportions over your unclaimed lunch. Happily taking it into your own hands, you waste no time cracking it open and digging in as you walk, “Thank you, Sanji! You’re the best!” He puffed up in pride at your compliment, assuring you that it was no problem.
It wasn’t long into the trek when you all came upon a wide but shallow river. It wasn’t so deep that you would need to swim to cross it, but it would be enough to pose a problem for your devil fruit possessing companions.
This wasn’t a big deal, everyone knew the drill. Those that couldn’t get in the water would pair off with someone who could to carry them across. Robin was perched up on one of Franky’s shoulders, much to Sanji’s heartbreak. Luffy latched onto Zoro and was telling him to hurry up and get going so they could all see the ruins.
That just left Chopper, who hurried over to you with his arms up. You were his preferred method of transportation in situations like this. Stuffing your now empty lunch box into your bag, you scoop up the reindeer and place him on your shoulders.
Without any additional fanfare, everyone starts wading through the water. At its deepest, it comes up to your waist. Trudging through waist deep water does naturally take a bit of effort, but this felt much harder than usual. Exhausting even. Your head was swimming and you didn’t even realize you’d stopped until Chopper spoke up.
“(Y/N)? Are you okay?” He leaned forward to try and see your face better, but you could hardly even register what he was saying to you, much less respond to it. Your silence must have bothered him, and he started to panic, “Guys wait! (Y/N) isn’t looking too good!”
That was the last thing you heard before collapsing into the rushing river. Logically, you knew you should be freaking out. You were underwater and had dropped Chopper in with you, you know you should be flying into action, but you weren’t. You felt listless. Like a puppet whose strings just got cut. The world around you was rapidly fading to black and you felt powerless to do anything about it.
Just before you could fully pass out, arms lock around your torso and wrench you out of the water. You coughed and gasped for breath. The relief of getting your head above water was palpable, but you still felt weak.
You were carried to the other side and gently sat down against a tree by a very concerned Sanji. His hands were clamped onto your upper arms and his eyes raked over your body looking for literally anything that could explain what just happened, “Talk to me, what’s wrong?”
Everyone else was crowding around you, too. Chopper wiggled his way to the front, fur still wet from his unplanned dive. Despite that, though, he was in doctor mode, “Give them some space, we need to figure out what happened!”
While he was checking your pulse and breathing, you found it in you to speak again, “I’m sorry about that, didn’t mean to drop you. I don’t know what came over me.”
“Were you already not feeling well? It’s not like you to just collapse like that.”
“I felt just fine until I got in the river. Did anyone else feel weird after getting in the water?” You asked. Maybe there was something in it that makes people sick?
Everyone shrugged off the question, saying that they all felt fine. Chopper wasn’t happy with the lack of any answer for why this happened. Making a quick decision, he stands up and announces that he’s going to take you back to the ship for now.
“No, I’m fine! Give me a minute, and I’ll be good to go, I swear!” You try to plead your case, but no one entertains it.
“You don’t need to force yourself to go on, I’ll help you and Chopper get back to the ship,” Sanji held out his hand to help you to your feet. Reluctantly, you accept the help and wait for him to pull.
He does, but you don’t move. Your hands are still joined together, but your arm is… oh god.
Several things happen at once. Sanji looks down and sees a bunch of blue strings connecting your now disembodied hand to the rest of your arm. Sanji screams at the sight, Chopper faints, Usopp is just straight up gone, and you feel like you’re about to throw up.
“What is wrong with your arm?!” Nami shrieks, looking about as nauseated as you felt.
“I don’t know!”
“Did you eat a devil fruit recently and not tell us?” Robin was the most outwardly calm, but was still visibly disturbed by the turn of events.
“No? How would that- Wait. Hang on. I might have,” everything suddenly clicks in your mind. The out of place fruit, the weird feeling you had after eating it, the water, and now this. You absolutely ate a devil fruit and didn’t even realize it.
“What do you mean ‘you might have’?” Everyone shouts in unison.
“Well, you see, it’s a funny story. You’re gonna laugh,” the unamused expressions on their faces told you otherwise. You continued, “While I was off on my own, I got really hungry. Then I got hit in the head by a weird fruit, so I decided to eat it.”
“You ate a random weird looking fruit and didn’t think that MAYBE you should mention that to us???” Nami looked like she wanted to throttle you right about now.
“... Yes?”
Nami exploded and started laying into you for your transgression, and you were helpless and just had to take it. Until you felt a weird tugging sensation from your arm. Looking over, you see Luffy experimentally poking his hand through your strings with a look of wonder on his face.
“Luffy, get out of there!” Sanji yells while trying to kick him away.
This devil fruit thing is going to take some getting used to.

You’re Turned into a Kid Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Masterlist
Part 1
Part 2 will include Sky, Four and Legend!
Content under the cut!
Sky
Sky tried his best to keep his smile off of his face when he heard little giggles coming from behind him. He felt his sailcloth move and suddenly there were little hands on his back, still giggling to themselves.
Keeping it cool, he keep whittling away on the tree branch Wild was kind enough to give him.
“Gotcha!” You cried, poking his sides. He jumped enough to make it seem like he hadn’t known you were there the whole time and turned to you with his grin on his face. “Did I scare you?”
“Yes you did.” Sky chuckles, moving his arm up to get a better look at you. “what are you doing back there, huh?”
You laugh some more, throwing the sailcloth over your head to “hide”. Sky snorts and returns to whittle the branch.
“Mr. Sky?” You ask him, poking your head out but wrapping the sailcloth around your arms. “What are you doing?”
Sky moves the knife away from your reach and shows you his work. “I’m try to make a little bird friend.”
You tilt your head. “...That doesn’t look like a bird at all.”
Sky snorts. “Well not at the moment. I’ve just started not too long ago.”
He moves aside his sailcloth, taking it away from you before he pats the spot next to him. “You’re free to watch me if you’d like. It won’t take too long until it starts to look like a bird.”
You sit down with little more invitation, hopping so that your legs are touching, clearing wanting to see as much as you can. the idea of watching the bird show more and more is intriguing. You’re not sure how he’s going to do it.
Sky goes back to work quickly, letting you tug on his arm so that he can bring his work even closer to you. He has to be a little more careful with the stroke of his blade though, less the woods chips go flying into either of you, but he’s happy that you’re showing an interest.
Soon, the familiar shape of a loftwing begins to take shape.
“That doesn’t look like a bird!” You cry out, feeling cheated. “What is it really?”
“It is a bird.” Sky shakes his head with an easy going smile on his face. “It’s a loftwing. Where I’m from-” And wow, isn’t that a weird thing to say? “-everyone has their other half. They say our halves are out loftwings. We use them to fly in the sky and get from island to island.”
You don’t seem to believe him. “There’s no islands in the sky.”
“Yes there is.” Many other Links answer in unison. Sky didn’t know he had this many people listening to your conversations.
“Oh.” You shrink down, embarrassed at being called out. “But we can’t see them.”
“Correct.” They answer again.
Sky bites his lip, trying to not laugh- or maybe he’s trying to not cry. Who knows? He takes a deep breath and works on the bird a little more.
“Alright!” Hyrule calls out. “I think I figured it out! We can turn them back to normal now!”
You’re quickly called to where he is. You don’t seem to realize what he’s talking about, only that something is going to happen.
“Mr. Sky?” You tug on his sleeve. “When I come back, will you show me the islands in the sky?”
Something tugs on his heart. “Of course, sweetheart. Whenever you want.”
Four
“Hey, you’re little!” You shouted, running up to Four. You put your hand over your head and slowly outstretched your arm to see where you matched with his height.
He was still taller by you, but you enthralled by the lack of distance between the two of you. A joyous laugh tumbled out of your mouth. This was apparently very amusing to you.
Four couldn’t even find it in himself to be annoyed or mad. “Yeah. We’re almost the same height, huh?”
“But you’re a big kid, right?” You grin, latching onto his arm without a second thought. Hyrule makes the gesture for Four to keep you there as he slowly lets the magic seep out through his hands towards you. Distract you, he’s saying, don’t let you move too much.
Four nods and grins your way. “I’m older than you’d think I am. Do you want to guess?”
You take it as a challenge and put on your best thinking face. Four doesn’t want to interrupt you as you try to get the closest possible guess. You don’t seem to come to an answer you’re happy with. You try to get hints out of him instead. “Are you my age?”
Four snorts. “How old are you?”
“Seven!”
“Not even close. Higher.” Four laughs. “Try again.”
You huff and put you finger to your chin, thinking very deeply about the matter. “You’re a lot older than me then? Hmmm...”
Four watched you with a curious look. You’re a cute kid. How on earth did you get swept up into this like the rest of them?
“Eleven?” You try again.
Four snort and shakes his head. “Try again.”
You seem shocked that you were wrong. Maybe he was an even bigger kid? You think about it again and Four has to bite his lip to try and keep a straight face. So cute~
“Fifteen?”
“Closer but no.”
You frown and look to the ground, you let him go and put your hands on his hips. “...You’re an old man.”
“Hey!”
Hyrule starts giggling uncontrollably. Four looks at the other hero with a (frankly harmless) glare. You seem to start giggling as well. Four is melted by the sound and he shakes his head. “I’m not even the oldest of the group.”
You look around and spot Time easily but you turn back to Four with a large grin on your face. “But you’re like me! And we’re better than them.”
Four snorts and wraps his arm around your shoulders. “You know what? Yes, we are.”
Legend
This felt weird.
He knew it was you, and you still looked like you- but his heart squeezed at the sight of you.
You were cute... but he had no idea what to do any more. He’s not the best with kids even if he wanted to befriend them.
To his luck or to his misfortune, you seemed more than willing to latch onto him and stick to his hip.
“Why is your hair pink?” Was what had to be your seventh thousand question of the hour. Legend inwardly winced, not sure how to broach that subject. IT’s not like you were at the age to understand the entire complexities of transfiguration magic and different world and portal.
But he also didn’t have the heart to lie to you.
“A friend of mine wanted my hair pink.” He says through gritted teeth, looking as much of a liar as his voice gives away. Some other members (especially those who know the truth) laugh to themselves, no doubt hold back from outwardly calling him out.
His answers seems to stump you for a second. At first you looked ready to accept it but then you questioned him again. “Why?”
Legend sighed. “I have no idea, buddy. Your guess is as good as mine.”
You pouted and crossed your arms, thinking some more. “But why would they want your hair to be pink? They should make their hair pink instead.”
“Agreed.” He runs his hand down his face, smiling tiredly. “I couldn’t agree more if I tried. I’m just waiting until the color goes away.”
“Why?”
Oh my goodness, Legend bites his cheek. “Uhh.. Because I don’t want my hair to be pink.”
“Oh.” You reach up and grab the hem of his sleeve, moving a little quicker before you could be left behind. Legend slows down for your sake, letting you catch up to him before he starts moving at your pace.
You look up at him and smile down at you, trying to not show how awkward he is. You nod once to yourself and smile brightly right back to him. “I like the pink. You look nice.”
Legend sighed, feeling the tips of his ears go pink to match the subject of the conversation. “Thank you...”
You giggle and turn to look forward. “Will the big puppy come back again?”
Legend sends a knowing glare when Twilight sends him a knowing smirk. “No, I don’t think he will. It seems he wants you to stay with us for the time being, so he’s playing keep away.”
“What do that mean?” You tilt your head.
Twilight snorts. “Legend would get jealous if you play with Wolfie all the time.”
Legend grits his teeth, a foul mouthed word on the tip of his tongue. He holds himself back. “Very funny. I don’t actually mind at all.”
You don’t seem to catch what either of them are implying. “That’s ok. I like Legend more anyway!”
Twilight starts snickering while Legend fumbles over his own two feet.
Oh my, you’re so cute.

Everything Has Changed | Kratos x reader
A/N: I was listening to music and Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift came on and it made me think of how one look at Kratos and I was in love lmao. I think Kratos deserves a whirlwind, sudden teenage dream type romance. Pure fluff!
Fem reader, no use of pronouns, but feminine descriptions used.
CW: Adult language, mention of death, mention of mysophobia.
Word Count: 4,535
---
You lived alone on a small island in Svartalfheim, near Dragon’s Beach. Since the towns nearby were built with dwarves in mind, you didn’t exactly find it the most comfortable to live in Nidavellir. So, you built your own little slice of paradise. You had a quaint home, not unlike those housed by dwarves. You also had your own garden to grow food, and a few pets to keep you company. You found your way into the tight-knit community created by, and for, dwarves after being taken in by the most unlikely candidate in all of Svartalfheim, Sindri.
Left an orphan after your parents were murdered under Odin’s orders, you were stuck wandering the town of Nidavellir at the age of 6. Your parents were adventurers; brave and curious truth-seekers. But when their curiosity brought them to Svartalfheim, dangerously close to what you can only assume was something very sacred to Odin, they were killed. Or, that’s what you think anyway. Odin and the aesir claim there was an “accident” when they were exploring. You didn’t know any better at the time, but Sindri did. Somehow he had convinced Odin not to take you away with him, gods know what he would have done to you if he hadn’t been successful.
Since then, you’ve looked to Sindri, and the entire community of Nidavellir, as family. It had been almost two decades since then, and now you work hard helping out the dwarves any way you can. You perform chores that are made easy due to your height advantage over them, but most importantly you make yourself available to listen to the community, sort of like a self-appointed therapist. That’s where you were at this very moment, on a hill a few minutes walk outside of town, you call your “office”. You saw a few people each day, but today was slower than usual. On days like this you liked to practice magic and tend to your garden. You took an interest in nature, so Sindri taught you how to manipulate some natural elements, get food to grow quicker, some healing magic, stuff like that. You were planting some seeds for the upcoming harvest season. Your hands, covered in soft, cold dirt, carefully poked holes into the tender earth. You dropped a few seeds in each hole before gently covering them back up.
The snap of a twig to your left tore your focus away from your current task. You turned your head to meet the sound and couldn’t help the smile that spread across your face. You saw Sindri stepping out from behind a tree, you hadn’t seen him in a few months, the both of you had been consumed in work as of late.
“Sindri!” you called to the dwarf as you dusted the dirt off your hands and stood up.
“Hey, it’s been a while. I-”
You cut off Sindri’s words by running over to him and embracing him in a bone-crunching hug. You were careful to keep your dirty hands away from him, but he hated being touched nonetheless. This was the longest you’ve ever gone without seeing each other, so he was just going to have to deal with your close proximity. You could feel his body tense up around your arms, signaling he had enough.
“I’m sorry, I know you hate it, but I haven’t seen you in forever!!” You flashed him a sad smile, pleading him not to be upset with you.
“No, it’s fine. I’ll just… take a bath in bleach.” He was standing so none of his limbs were touching each other, like an awkward sparring dummy.
“Don’t be so dramatic.” You teased him as you knelt down to rinse your hands in a bucket of water nearby.
“We breathed the same air for nearly 20 years, a hug is nothing.” you attempted to reason with his brain. You stood up once again and really took in the sight of Sindri standing in front of you. Despite his mysophobia that refused to waver, you really missed him.
“So, what are you doing here? Just dropping by?”
“No, I… I actually need your help with something.” Sindri’s tone had shifted from annoyed to more serious. “Anything for you, Sin’.” you smiled at him, trying to keep the conversation light. You couldn’t imagine he would have anything horrific to ask of you. You turned to a small shelf and grabbed a clean rag and a bottle of cleaner and handed it to Sindri.
“Here. I can’t take you seriously with you standing like that, man.” You chuckled. He mumbled out a ‘thanks’ and swiftly began to clean himself.
While Sindri was getting himself into a state of cleanliness that he deemed suitable, he told you of the favor he needed. He explained that the World Tree was dangerously close to becoming overgrown, and Ratatoskr had his hands busy trying to parent the lindwyrms, who were not ready to care for the world tree on their own quite yet.
“Ahh, so now my “dirty hobby” has come to be useful!” You crossed your arms smugly as Sindri rolled his eyes with a scoff.
“If that’s how you want to look at it…” he murmured. “Just, come to my house when you’re ready. I have to take a bath now.”
Before you could even agree, Sindri was gone. You chuckled to yourself and began to clean up and get ready to be away for awhile. You said a spell over your newly planted seeds to keep them healthy and watered for the time being. Next you collected some clothes and supplies into a small satchel and picked up your sword. Its hilt was crafted from dwarven steel and the blade was made out of wood from a poison tree and wrapped in thorny vines. You slid it into its sheath on your back and headed to the nearest mystic gateway.
---
Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir had just returned from freeing the Hafgufa from Vanaheim. There was a trail of sand following behind them.
“I’m really glad we got to set the Hafgufas free, but I don’t think I wanna go to any realms with sand for a while…” Atreus stated as he brushed some sand from his hair
“Aye, I’ve got sand in me neck stump!” Mimir shared Atreus’ disdain for feeling sand in every crevice imaginable. The sound of the front doors opening pulled the men’s attention from their current discomfort.
You took a few steps through the front door before you stopped in your tracks as you locked eyes with perhaps the most invigorating man you’ve ever seen. You hadn’t expected to see anyone else at the house, let alone someone so tantalizing. It felt as if all the breath was stolen from your lungs as you looked deep into his amber eyes. The scowl the man had on his face only a second before had noticeably softened now. It was as if the two of you were the only people in all the nine realms at that moment. After what felt like years of staring into this man’s soul through his eyes, it was cut short as sound filled the air.
“Y/n! About time I saw you again.” Brok greeted you as he walked out from behind the counter of the workshop. You held your gaze with the giant man for just one more second before reluctantly tearing your eyes away to greet Brok.
This was no big deal, you just had to act like you hadn’t just seen the most attractive and magnetizing person in your entire life… If you didn’t believe in love at first sight before, you sure as Hel believed in it now.
“It’s really great to see you, Brok.” You smiled at the blue dwarf and bent down to engulf him in a hug. You could only hope that he couldn’t feel your heart pounding in your chest.
Although your back was turned, you could feel the man's eyes on your body. You stood up straight and took a deep breath, readying yourself to speak to the handsome stranger. You turned towards him and held out your hand to greet him as you found yourself drawn to his eyes once again.
“Hi, I’m (y/n).” You introduced yourself. The man glanced down at your hand and then back at you. He reached his hand out to grasp yours in a surprisingly gentle handshake.
“Kratos.” is all he said. The sound of his voice was better than anything you imagined. You could have melted into a puddle of goo at that very moment.
“Kratos.” You smiled as you repeated his name. “It’s very nice to meet you.” You said, letting go of his hand, missing the warmth of his body heat immediately. You looked to your right to see a teenage boy. You had almost missed him in all the feelings and thoughts swirling around in your head.
Kratos placed a hand on the boy's shoulder, “This is my son, Atreus.”
You reached your hand out to greet Atreus as well, “It’s very nice to meet you too!” you smiled at the boy. He returned your smile and shook your hand, with much more grip and enthusiasm than his father.
“Good to meet you as well! So, how do you know Sindri?” Atreus asked, assuming only people close to the dwarf would be allowed access into his home. You chuckled slightly, thinking he was joking around. When he glanced around awkwardly you realized how serious he was.
“Oh…” you started, confusion showing on your face, but it soon turned to agitation. “Oh my gods.” You quickly turned your head to Brok. “He… He doesn’t talk about me?” You practically yelled in astonishment.
“Hey, don’t take it out on me… But, uh, let me take a look at yer sword.” Brok knew just how to evade your annoyance. You took out your sword and set it down on the workshop table with a scoff as you repeated your words with disbelief, “He doesn’t talk about me…”
Kratos and Atreus silently exchanged glances to each other as they were left guessing how you and Sindri were acquainted. One situation in particular was swirling around Kratos’ mind, that you were romantically involved with the dwarf. Disappointment had crept up onto him as he began to entertain this thought.
“Uhm… Are you and Sindri, like… dating?” Atreus awkwardly asked you, staring at his own feet to avoid your gaze.
“No! Oh, no, not at all! He raised me!” You had been so lost in your annoyance that you never answered the boy's question.
Kratos felt relief wash over him. He wasn’t sure why he was relieved, or why he cared if you had been something more than a friend or family member to Sindri. He had just met you, he should not be having these types of thoughts or feelings about anyone, let alone a stranger.
“Ohhh!” Atreus chuckled a little, finally looking up at you again. “Wait- Sindri had a kid?” He glanced at his father and then back to you. “Are you-”
You cut Atreus off before things could get awkward again, “No, I’m like an adopted sibling he never wanted.” you cleared the air.
Seemingly right on cue, Sindri entered the house.
“Oh! I didn’t realize you three would be back already...” Sindri shifted his weight from side to side, seemingly unprepared to introduce you to his guests. But his awkward demeanor soon switched to panic as he noticed the pool of sand in his house.
“Really?!” Sindri sighed loudly as he fetched a broom from a nearby closet. “You two, get outside!” He commanded Kratos and Atreus, pushing the broom at their heels to rush them out of his previously pristine house.
Once the duo had been escorted outside, Sindri shot them a warning, “And do NOT come back in until you are sand-free!”
Sindri propped the front doors open and began to sweep the sand out of the house. You were left watching the entire ordeal with a slightly amused look on your face. You figured you could give Sindri shit later for not telling his friends about you, he had enough on his plate for the time being. For now, your gaze drifted back towards Kratos.
“Uhm, I’m gonna go take a bath.” Atreus notified his father before turning his back to walk through a small wooden gate on the side of the house to clean up.
Kratos grumbled slightly and unhooked Mimir from his belt, setting him down on the bottom step of the stairs leading into the house. He then proceeded to take off each piece of his armor and shake the sand out from them. You took your time to look over his upper body. Your eyes trailed the bright red tattoo, from the sharp edge on his face to the swirl on his bicep, and the curve on his abdomen. You couldn’t help admiring his muscular physique and taking note of the large scar on his stomach, and a smaller one over his eye.
“Alright, quit yer drooling.” Brok’s voice snapped you back into reality. He set down your sword on the counter in between the two of you.
You whipped your head towards the dwarf, a soft pink blush falling over your cheeks.
“Fuck off, I was not drooling…” You defended yourself, snatching your sword back. You took a moment to look over Brok’s upgrades before returning it to its sheath.
“Whatever you say, princess.” Brok teased you further.
You rolled your eyes and started to walk down the steps outside. You were careful not to make any more of a mess for Sindri, but not careful enough to notice a severed head on the very last step. In your effort to avoid stepping on the head, you tripped over your own two feet. Instead of feeling the harsh impact of the ground, you felt a warm hand on your upper arm. You looked up to see Kratos holding onto you. His piercing brown eyes were staring right into your soul, again. You felt your heart rate pick up, you opened your mouth to speak but no words came out. His grip loosened on you and he returned his hand to his side.
“You should be more careful.” Kratos advised you.
“Yeah- uhm, I’m sorry about that.” You turned to the severed head on the steps, “I’m really sorry, I didn’t see you there.”
“Ah, don’t worry about it. It’s the big oaf’s fault for settin’ me down there.” The head was surprisingly forgiving of your clumsiness. A tinge of pink settled across your cheeks as you looked back to Kratos. The man just grunted in response to the head.
“I’m Mimir, it’s nice to meet you.” The head introduced himself at last. You sat down on the steps next to Mimir.
“Right back at’cha. I’m sorry I didn’t introduce myself earlier.” You felt guilt for over-looking him earlier. Although, you did overlook just about everyone except for Kratos…
“Don’t even mention it. How could ya have seen me?” Mimir continued to joke at the expense of Kratos. A smile spread across your face. Before you could continue your conversation, a voice rang out.
“Master (y/n)!” A familiar voice entered your eardrums, Ratatoskr. A small sigh escaped your lips as you stood up.
“Duty calls.” You announced. “I’ll see you two around.” You gave a smile to Mimir and a wave to Kratos before walking over to speak with the abnormally large squirrel. It was time to find out what exactly you’ll be helping him with.
Kratos’ gaze followed you as you walked away from him. His eyes raked over your figure, memorizing the way you walked and how your hips moved with each step.
“Father?” Atreus’ voice interrupted his thoughts.
“Hm?” Kratos turned his attention to his son and continued to shake the last of the sand out of his waist armor.
“I was just saying that the bath is ready for you, and I can clean up out here.” Atreus shifted his gaze between Mimir and his father. Kratos simply nodded his head, dropping the armor he was holding and headed to get himself cleaned up.
Atreus began to gather the armor from the ground. “Uhh, do you think he’s acting a little… weird today?”
“I think he might be a wee bit tired from all the traveling, lad. Speaking of, would you mind helping me clean up a bit?”
“Sure, no problem Mimir.” Atreus smiled and got to work.
---
You spent the next few hours getting a tour of the World Tree and extremely detailed instructions from Ratatoskr on how to care for it. He explained how to prune the branches, what limbs held which realms, what you should never touch, the list went on and on. Your head was so filled with new information it felt like your brain was going to explode. You walked into the house just as it was getting dark outside after finally being relieved for the evening. Even though the realm between realms doesn’t have a sun and a moon, it was still nice to have it simulate days and nights, so as to not lose track of time. The scent of meat and spices filled your nostrils, Brok was in the kitchen stirring a large pot, of what you assume was dinner.
“That smells amazing.” You said, walking towards Brok. You stopped in front of the giant pot and picked up a spoon to give the stew a taste test. “Tastes amazing too.”
“It ain’t ready yet.” Brok snatched the spoon out of your hand. You put your hands up in defense.
“Sorry, I guess I’ll just wait then… and never compliment you again.” you turned your back and headed to where you used to sleep growing up.
“Wait, that’s-” Before Brok could finish his warning, you opened the door to be greeted by Kratos sitting on the side of a makeshift bed. The only item of clothing he had on was dark brown pants. He almost looked like a different person without all his armor on. There was even more scarring hiding under his wrist armor, it looked like chains had been branded onto his forearms.
“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t realize you were staying in here.” You apologized for intruding.
Kratos looked up to meet your gaze, “It is fine.”
You gave him a small smile and looked around the room, “This place hasn’t changed much. I used to stay in this room when I was younger.” You leaned against the wall as a flood of memories entered your mind.
“You can have the room if you wish.” Kratos said as he stood up with a slight grunt.
“No, I couldn’t kick you out of your room. You probably need it more than me. Plus, the chair out there is pretty comfy.” You assured him.
“Mh… Let me know if you change your mind.” He began to wrap some red cloth around his forearms.
“So, how did you come to have a talking severed head as your companion?” You questioned him.
“I cut it off.” Kratos replied to you plainly.
“Huh?” You had confusion written all over your face.
“He was trapped. Imprisoned in a tree and tortured everyday. He asked me to cut off his head to free him. So I did.” Kratos further explained.
“Oh, that’s actually really kind of you.” You said, reflecting on the odd, but thoughtful, request.
Kratos grunted in response.
Just as you were about to ask him more about himself, you heard Brok announce that dinner was ready. You gave Kratos one more look over. His lack of clothing was incredibly inviting, but you were hungry and tired.
“I’ll see you out there.” You excused yourself and walked out to the table to sit down and get some food.
---
Dinner was nice and casual, there was no residual awkwardness from the days prior events. You got to know more about Atreus, that boy really likes to talk. He was going on about the different types of monsters he’s fought with his dad. He seemed the most proud of defeating a huge electric dragon a few years ago. The most surprising detail of the story was that Sindri utilized one of the dragon’s teeth to enhance Atreus’ bow. Swapping stories around the dinner table made the time go by far too fast for your liking. It felt like the six of you had been friends for a lifetime. When the conversation had died down, you stood up and collected the empty plates. You made your way to the kitchen to wash up while Kratos and Atreus went into their respective rooms.
“I can get that, you should get some rest.” Sindri’s voice came from behind you. You turned your head to look at him.
“No, I really don’t mind!” You insisted, turning on the water.
“Okay… Well, to be honest I don’t trust anyone else washing the dishes but me.” Sindri admitted.
“Mmmh, the truth comes out.” You chuckled and stepped away from the sink. “Let me know if there’s anything I can do.”
“You just rest. You’ve done a lot for me today… Thank you.” Sindri gave you a small smile and got started on cleaning up.
You had an idea brewing in your mind. You couldn’t get your mind off of Kratos. You just wanted to know more about him, he was all you could think of. You found a spare piece of paper, scribbled down a note, slipped it under Kratos’ door and made yourself scarce.
“Brother, someone’s slipped a note under your door.” Mimir alerted Kratos, who was laying down on his makeshift bed. He pulled the weight of himself up with a slight grunt and walked over to where the note was. He bent down and picked it up, unfolding it carefully.
Meet me at the side of the house.
Kratos furrowed his brows and let out a confused grumble. He set the note down on a crate near his bed and stepped out of his room.
“Aye, what did it say??” Mimir questioned, but the only response he got was the sound of the door closing and heavy footsteps leading further and further away.
You were sitting on a barrel, leaning your back against the side of the house and nervously tapping your fingertips on your thigh. You heard the front door open and close, causing you to spring to your feet and run a hand through your hair to tame any fly-aways. You watched as Kratos entered through the side gate, latching it behind him. Your heartbeat started to increase with each step he took toward you. He stopped a few feet away from you.
“You wanted to see me?” Kratos spoke with a hint of confusion laced in his words.
“Yeah, I did…” You took a step toward him, taking in a deep breath before looking up into his eyes. “I’ve really enjoyed talking to you, and I just wanna know you better.” You confessed your infatuation with the man.
“What would you wish to know?” Kratos asked you.
“Everything?” You responded, taking another step closer to him, leaving only a few inches of space in between you.
“Mh… That may take awhile.” Kratos looked down at you, his chest steadily rising and falling with each breath he took. It was beyond your grasp how he could remain so calm and stoic, but it made you want him more than ever.
“I have time.” You told him with a small smile. You lifted your hand from your side and carefully placed it on Kratos’ cheek, right where his beard began to sprout. You looked in his eyes for any signs of hesitation, but you found none. You leaned up on your tippy toes and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips.
You leaned back just a few centimeters from him and opened your eyes. He hadn’t moved a muscle, it was like you had kissed a statue. Kratos had a look of surprise and confusion sprawled across his face. His eyes were raking over your facial features, searching for any hint of disgust. He was waiting for you to shove him away, to start laughing at him. He was expecting to hear you question who would ever want to touch a monster like him. But you were just staring right back at him, looking increasingly worried by the second.
“Are you okay?” You spoke, barely above a whisper. Had you broken him? Did he not like you? Was he trying to find a way to let you down without hurting your feelings? Your embarrassment started to manifest itself as redness across your cheeks, darkening with each moment of silence that passed.
Kratos nodded ever so slightly and one of his hands ghosted just above your hip, barely making contact with your body.
You placed your free hand on top of his, encouraging him to make full contact with you. You placed both of your hands on either side of his face and kissed him again. Only this time, you weren’t as gentle. You started with a firm kiss and then began to move your lips against his, trying to encourage him to kiss you back. You felt his hand on your hip pull you closer to his body and then you finally felt his lips start to move against yours. He dipped his head down so you didn’t have to strain to reach his lips. You couldn’t hold back a faint moan erupting from your throat as you wrapped your arms around his neck, trying to get even closer to Kratos. He now placed both his hands on your hips, tilting his head slightly to the side to deepen the kiss. After a few more moments, you weren’t sure if it was a lack of oxygen, or if you were getting drunk off of the feeling of Kratos on you, but you were getting dizzy. You stopped kissing him and placed a hand on his chest to steady yourself and took a moment to catch your breath. Kratos watched you cautiously, he gently brushed a strand of hair out of your face with the back of his hand. Your face was flushed pink and your lips were wet with the mix of both of your saliva. He hadn’t had any feelings like this in a long, long time.
“Uhm…” You looked up at Kratos, pleasantly surprised to see he was watching you carefully, “Would you wanna get a drink with me sometime?”
For the first time you saw the man’s cheeks firm up into a slight smile and heard the sweet sound of a chuckle escape his lips.
“Why don’t we go now?” He proposed.
You nodded in response, “Yeah, that sounds great.” You smiled back at him, not caring if you looked like a complete idiot.
“Let us go then.” He declared, walking towards the gate and holding it open for you.
“Okay, I know just the place.” You walked through the small wooden gate and excitedly waited for Kratos to catch up to you at the mystic gateway.

shout out to @kai200x !! i hope you enjoy!!
Where am I?
Why did I land on the most boring island on the Grand Line?
Am I even on the Grand Line?
Kicking rocks while moving through the woods, leaves crunch beneath my feet as I spin around taking in my surroundings. Trees, trees, and more trees. That’s all it's been for days. Since Kuma sent me to this island, I have been slowly discovering a new area each day. Satisfied with my in-depth search, I head back to the village.
“Wonder where he sent everyone…” my thoughts echo around me. I bring my hands to my face, rubbing my eyes, becoming dizzy at the thought of being stranded without my nakama. I open my mouth to yell but am cut off by a scream. I whip around in the direction it came from, watching birds flock overhead moving away from the commotion. I take off towards the screams, hoping that I catch the person. Why is it coming from the village? The closer I get to the screams, I realize that those are shouts of terror, I run faster. Breaking out of the trees, I run into a crowd of people. The villagers are tied up in the middle of a small opening between the trees. What is going on? A maniacal laugh breaks me out of my thoughts, my head snaps from the crowd to the beast across the opening. Eustass ‘Captain’ Kid. “Look what we have here, boys!” Kid swaggers towards me, “Where were you hiding, sweet cheeks?”
I whip around and snarl, “who are you calling sweet checks, fuck face?”
Kid laughs once more and cheekily smiles, marching towards me, pushing anyone out of his way, “Who the fuck are you?” Kid barks, staring me down.
I stay silent. I need to get off this island, back to Sabaody, and meet my crew. Lost in my mind, I don’t notice Kid stalking towards me with his hand raised. His hand starts to come down but he’s too slow. I grab my whip from its place on my hip and snap it around his wrist, throwing his momentum back. “Shit! You bitch!” Kid points at me, “I am going to kill you!”
Before he can throw his hand up once more, two men calmly move between us, “Get out of my way Heat! Wire! I am going to beat her ass!” Kid screeches.
Taking this as a sign to take my leave, I move towards the woods, glancing around to see if I can find the shore. Maybe I can steal their ship? Or at least a row boat? Taking a step backward, moving slowly to not bring attention to myself until I bump into something, hands wrapping around my biceps. “Where do you think you’re going?”
My gaze moves from Kid to the man now holding my arms. How the hell? I didn’t even see him. The masked man meets my gaze. His blonde hair falling over his shoulders. Killer. I yelp as he yanks me up over his shoulder and begins to move toward the rest of the crew, ignoring my squirming and hands hitting his back. After a few minutes of walking, Killer throws me down onto the deck of their ship, shoving a piece of paper in my face. “This you?”
Y/N. 110000 Berri. My bounty poster.
“It might be.”
“I knew it…What are you doing here?”
“What are you doing here?”
We both speak at the same time. Both of us go silent, leaving the questions unanswered. Killer hands me a newspaper a few moments later, gesturing for me to look at it. I gasp and grasp the paper tightly. “Luffy!”
I observe the photo of Luffy, glad that he is okay. As I read the article, Killer begins moving about the deck, I can’t help but think that he is trying to give me a moment of privacy.
“Oh Luffy, I am so sorry about Ace,” I whisper. I look at the photo once more, bringing the paper closer to my face, and get a good look at his arm. 3D2Y, shit. I let go of the paper, letting it fall next to me, turning to Killer.
 “I am going to tell you something and I need you to listen.” I boldly state, hoping he couldn’t sense my nervousness. He turns towards me, tilting his head to the side and I take it as a sign to explain. The words fall out of my mouth, telling him what happened on Sabaody and how long I had been on the island… “but I need to ask you a question.”
Killer nods and murmurs, “go ahead.”
“You see this right here,” taking a finger and pointing to Luffy’s arm, “We were supposed to meet up on Sabaody in 3 days, hence 3D, but notice it’s crossed out.”
I glance up at him and continue, “It means we are no longer meeting in 3 days but in…”
“2 years.” He finishes for me.
“Yep, so I was wondering…”
Before I could say anything else, Killer’s name is shouted from the shore. Kid storms on board. “You missed out, Killer!” Kid cackles along with the rest of the crew boasting about a good pillaging, bringing his eyes to me on the ground. Kid stares as I shift to my knees. I take a deep breath, quickly deciding what I need to do. I am scared at what's about to come, taking another glance at the paper by my side. I will get stronger, Luffy.
“Captain Kid!” I plead. “I know you don’t know me but please let me join up with you! I can fight, cook, clean, I can do whatever you need me to! Please!"
As I keep pleading, Kid and Killer share a look. The rest of the crew stands in shock at what is happening before them.
“I will sleep on the deck, I don’t care! I will do all the chores you -”
“You can stay, welcome to the New World.” Kid cuts me off.
3 months later
“Let’s go again.”
Sweat rolls from my forehead down my face, dripping onto the ground. I huff as I push my arms against my knees, rolling up from my hunched stance. I needed to beat him. I lock eyes with Kid and grip my whip tighter, spreading my feet slightly. Woosh! A piece of metal flies overhead and I roll to the right, springing up and employing my whole body to crack the whip at my foe. I twist my wrist, making the whip’s end coil around a piece of metal in the air, pulling as hard as I can to change its momentum. Before I can look to see what damage the attack had done, my leg gives out and I hit the deck. “Shit!”
“Attract.” My body gets thrown across the deck and I land near a pair of boots.
“Get’s you every time,” Kid chuckles, looking down on me. He grins and sticks out his hand. I look at his hand and then at him. Gingerly, I put my hand in his letting him hoist me off the ground. It takes him a moment to let go of my hand.
“Thanks.”
“If you want to beat me so badly, take the anklet off,” Kid states, “before we spar you take all your metal jewelry off but that, why?”
I look at him with surprise, not realizing he even noticed my lack of earrings and necklace. His eyes move from mine down my body to my ankle. I hold back a shiver. “My best friend gave it to me before I left to become a pirate,” I answer, “I have never taken it off.”
Kid shrugs, “I won’t pull on it anymore then, don’t want to break it”
The air between us is different than it had been for the months I had been with them. There is no anger, annoyance, or the sense of danger. Before I could respond, Killer’s head pops out of the kitchen, “Dinner’s ready, go clean up!”
Kid takes another glance at me and I look at him, thinking he has something to say but he walks away. My gaze follows Kid, blaming my hot cheeks on the training and not on the man walking away from me.
10 months later
“Does it feel good?”
“Yes,” I nod, “looks good too.” I admire the new leatherwork and metal accents Kid added to the handle of my whip, the old handle becoming too worn out. Kid takes the whip from my hand, setting it on his workshop bench, “you’re pretty handy with this thing.”
I stammer slightly at the minor compliment, “T-thanks, still can’t believe the leather was that worn out. I have had that thing for years."
He plops back down in his chair, turning away from me. “There are just a couple more adjustments, then I can give it back to you. Shouldn’t take me too long if you want to take a seat there,” gesturing to the old couch in the room.
I head to the couch to rest, propping my feet on the large chest in front of me. Silence takes over the room, the only sound is the small sounds Kid is making. My eyes start to droop, and I rapidly blink them to keep them from closing. My eyes move up, expecting to meet Kid’s back, but his eyes are already on me.
“Your whip’s done,” he notes and sets it on the bench next to him, “I have some more stuff to do, so you can stay here and rest if you want…I will wake you when we reach the island.”
I blush and duck my head, “Sorry I didn’t even realize how much time passed,” embarrassed, I stand up, “I will just head back to my bunk.”
“You aren’t going to get any sleep there at this time of day, just lay down.”
Agreeing, I lay back down, burrowing myself into the worn out pillows. Satisfied, Kid turns back to his desk and begins to work. The soft sound of his breathing and sketching drifts me off to sleep.
1 year and 6 months later
After sailing for two weeks without any landfall or any action, we are all itching for something to do rather than our daily tasks. So thank gods for us, one afternoon a marine vessel attacks us.
“Finally some entertainment!” Kid shouts, a wicked smile spreading across his face.
“Let’s go!” Heat, Wire, and Killer grab robes and swing to the marine’s deck.
I decide to stay on the Victoria, marines piling over. I am quick to make work of them, those imbeciles. “Ow!” I moan, twisting around to see a marine snarling at me, a sword clutched in his hand.
As the marine draws his sword with a ringing clang, my whip crackles through the air like a serpent's tongue, its tip lashing out with lightning speed. With a deft twist of my wrist, the marine parries the blow, the clash of steel against leather echoing on the deck. The marine's sword flashes in the afternoon light, its blade singing as it slices through the air, while the whip whistles and snaps with a deadly grace. With a sudden burst of speed, I lung forward, my weapon arcing toward the marine’s throat like a coiled viper. The marine hits the deck.
“Nice one.” Killer’s hand comes to rest upon my head, ruffling my hair.
“You take them all out already?” I question.
“Yep,” Killer nods, “now the crew is searching their ship for anything good.”
“I will go help them.”
“No, you’re with me. Kid wants to have a feast to celebrate our boredom coming to an end, so I am going to need help.”
I sigh and shuffle off into the kitchen, Killer following close behind.
…
“Y/N! Y/N!”
“Oh sorry,” I mumble, “I was lost in thought, what are you calling me for now?”
Looking around the table, all eyes are closely watching me. Kid, Killer, Heat, and Wire exchange glances, but I am too tired to read into them. The battle earlier exhausted me. I had training in the mornings with Kid and Killer then I did my tasks for the rest of the day, my days were tiresome.
Wire leans in, “I was asking you if you could show me how to use that whip of yours, you were badass today.”
“Sure.” I shrug, moving the remaining food around on my plate.
Suddenly, a fork moves to hover over my plate before digging into one of the potatoes. I follow the fork's movement to Heat, his solemn face turning into a small smirk, popping the potato into his mouth. The exhaustion leaves me as I am plagued with fury. “HEAT HOW DARE YOU! I WAS EATING THAT! JUST BECAUSE I SPACED OUT DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE…”
I go dead silent as he goes to grab another potato, before he can stab his fork into it, a knife lands next to his hand. “Y/N, YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME!”
“IT’S JUST A SMALL KNIFE! A POCKET KNIFE! I DON’T EVEN USE IT FOR COMBAT!”
“YOU COULD HAVE CUT MY HAND OFF!”
“THEN DON’T STEAL MY FOOD!”
Kid, Wire, and Killer look on humorously.
“Stop overreacting!” I huff to catch my breath, sitting down once more.
Heat snorts, “could say the same to you.”
“Oh, fuck off”
A laugh booms through the air, Heat and I both turning to the culprit. Kid is sitting at the head of the table. “What’s so funny?” Heat asked.
Kid finally calms down, his face red, “nothing,” he turns towards me with a small grin on his face, “You good, sweet cheeks?”
“Yeah,” I smile at him, “I am all good.”
Kid hums, taking a great sip of his drink. Glancing at me once more. As the night wore on and the drinks flowed freely, their conversation grew louder and more animated, fueled by the camaraderie of the crew and the promise of a carefree night ahead. Soon enough, Kid and I stand by the door of his room. “Goodnight, Kid.”
“Night, sweet cheeks,” Kid opens his door before turning back to me, “I have you for 6 more months.”
Stunned, I stay silent as Kid stumbles into his room. As the door swings shut, I make my way back to my bunk, my hand resting on the wall to help me stay upright. A coldness runs through me as I throw myself onto my hammock, 6 more months with Kid. As my hammock sways side to side, a small grin adorns my face. I think I am falling for Eustass Kid.
 2 years
“It was nice having you,” Kid chuckles, “even if I really had no choice but to let you on the ship.”
“I could have survived without you.”
Kid rolls his eyes, “yeah right, you were begging for me to take you in.”
“Was not!”
Kid sends me a blank look.
“Alright, you got me. Thank you Kid,” I grin, “I appreciate all you did for me.”
“Yeah, yeah,” the tips of his ears turning red, “Killer will accompany you to the archipelago.”
Looking at my feet in disappointment, “You are staying on the ship then?”
Kid hums, “Wait here," turning around to his desk to grab something. He hands me a letter, “Don’t look at it now.”
I tuck it into my bag, saying goodbye. I turn to leave the room when a hand grabs mine. Before I could question him, Kid pulls me into his embrace. We stay hugging in his workshop for what feels like forever, I take a deep breath, memorizing what this feels like. He slowly lets go, “You better go, you’re going to be the last of your crew to show up.”
I laugh, “That will probably be Zoro,” taking a step back, “thanks again, for everything.”
He smiles. I watch him for a moment, trying to commit his smile to memory.
…
Y/N,
As I sit down to write these words, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude for having you on my crew, even just for a short time. It's not often that we come across someone as genuinely caring and supportive as you are, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have met you. The crew will miss you. Your words of wisdom, jokes, and support will be missed. We will be enemies the next time we see each other, remember what we practiced.
Eustass Captain Kid
Months later in Wano
“Kid? What are you doing here? Are you alright?”
I usher him into the small cabin secluded in the forest in Kuri. Thank gods that Tama is not here and is off galavanting with Chopper. Kid slams onto the ground of the small home. I open doors and cabinets, looking for a first aid kit or any kind of medical treatment. In the last cabinet, I find gauze. Looking back at Kid, he has scooted over out of sight of the window. I move towards him, bend down, and motion for him to hand me his injured arm, “what are you doing in Wano?”
Kid stays silent and takes a deep breath, wincing at the pressure I put on his wound. In the silence, I discover a profound sense of peace – a tranquility that fills me with contentment. "I missed you," I whisper.
Kid raises his head at my words but still doesn't speak. He only stares, so I ask, "What happened to you?"
Looking into his eyes, I can see the tears start to form, but before they fall, I wipe them on the sleeve of my kimono. Breaking down, Kid explains the betrayal of Scratchman Apoo and Basil Hawkins, what Kaido did to him, and his escape from Udon.
"You will find your crew," I comfort him, "they would never give up on you. They are all going to be okay"
Kid moves to stand, "I have to go."
"Maybe you should wait a day, you're exhausted. You can't fight anyone like this."
"I can't stay here any longer, I have to find Killer and the rest of my crew, and kill Kaido."
I stand silently and watch him gather himself before heading towards the door but before he goes, I blurt out, "I need to tell you something"
Kid turns and watches me, I take that as my cue to speak, "I know this is coming out of nowhere and the timing is just awful, but I have to tell you. I love you. I fell in love with you during those two years on your ship, but I didn't realize the extent of that love until I wasn't spending everyday with you. I love the way you protect your crew so fiercely, the support you gave me during training, and the reassurance that my crew would be okay. I love the way you fight with anyone who gets in your way or disagres with you, although that is a tad annoying, and so much more. I needed to tell you. And though the path ahead may be uncertain, I am certain of one thing – my love for you"
A look of shock runs across his face but is quickly masked with a sneer, “I never loved you. I will never love you.”
...
I don't know how much time had passed. I can't even cry. I felt numb. I just stare at the place where Kid was before he took off out of the small cabin. Shaking my head to clear my thoughts, it's not time to get stuck on such trivial matters in the middle of a war. I have my crew and that is what matters. Composing myself, I grab my whip from the table and head to meet my friends in the flower capital.

"all eyes on me now! if you still doubt mine, it's too pointless. we're still young and wild, we gonna find new world to be mine!" yunho's fingers moved along the quote carved into the compass he's had since who knows how long.
yunho's head was lifted up forcefully by hongjoong's pointing stick poking his forehead. "you're going to get lost later on the island if you don't listen to me right now," hongjoong tilted his head, stepping back to the blackboard. "captain, i mean this in the nicest way possible, we've been over this, like, six times in the span of a week. we'll be fine," yeosang called from across the room as he tapped his telescope against his other palm, still dodging wooyoung's outstretched arms every now and then.
"you all say this but i know one of you is going to get into some shit and i'm going to have to be the one to clean it up," hongjoong sighed, dropping his pointer onto the ground lazily, "okay, come on, let's get off the ship. remember the plan, and wooyoung, stop trying to kiss yeosang's face. you can do that when we come back."
yunho kicked the ladder down onto the dock, stepping off the ship first. the crew split up, him going into the left path trailing into the cave. they all knew exactly what they were looking for, and the lengths each and every one of them were willing to take to get it.
it was peaceful until a rustle attracted his attention. yunho paused, pretending to re-lace his shoes, his eyes darting to his left, the direction where the sound had come from. when it was calm for the following minute, yunho slowly stood to continue his journey, putting on an oblivious façade, his hand subtly inching for his sheathed cutlass with every step.
yunho wasn't stupid. he's had enough experience to know not to doubt his senses at any cost. true to him, the snapping of a branch immediately heightened his senses. he swiftly cut through the thick, tall grass, eyes meeting with ones belonging to an innocent doe.
as the doe ran off, yunho only noted then how it was running along the path he was on. the cogs in his head whirred in confusion as he wondered why a deer wouldn't run away from a potential predator, rather in the same direction as him. that thought never escaped as he trudged on, praying the cave he was walking towards would appear before him faster.
and lo and behold, there it was.
if yunho hadn't been looking for it specifically he would've missed it entirely. it blended in perfectly with the shadows of the swaying trees, outgrown weeds guarding the entrance, vines crawling around, all leading straight into the depths of the cave.
peeking into the darkness, he checked every corner, sharp eyes darting here and there. finally, they landed on an unusual glimmering spot. yunho stepped closer, cautious of the fact he was now exposed to any potential predators hiding deep in the cave.
he was about a meter away from the shining rock when he realised it wasn’t a rock at all. it was an hourglass etched into the cave walls, almost like the cave was built around it over the years. he breathed out a light sigh of relief upon feeling the grooves of the rock nearby. it wasn’t etched in that deep. he could easily pull it out with a bit of help.
he allowed himself a few more minutes of admiring the hourglass. the cromer, its name was. an hourglass with the ability to lead them to an alternate dimension, where they could escape this timeline that caused each and every one of them so much pain and loss.
after stealing books from other pirates, following leads from old legends, tracking down their ancestors' footsteps, seonghwa had finally found a map hidden deep in the journals of an unknown pirate, their initials and writings long faded within the centuries. the joy the crew had felt when they located the hourglass after years was a night yunho could not forget.
just as he was about to turn back and find his crewmates, yunho was greeted with the sight of the very doe blocking his exit. when it was made clear that the doe had no intentions of moving at all, yunho unsheathed his cutlass. this was no ordinary animal.
his theory was proved right when a gust of wind blew against his face. removing his hand from his face and opening his eyes, he tried to conceal his shock. where the doe had stood before was a girl about his age.
“you’re a shapeshifter.” you raised your eyebrows at his statement, “obviously.” “i thought they didn’t exist anymore after hunters hunted them down ages ago,” yunho still had his cutlass held in front of him, wary of this new stranger. “yeah, i know. that was centuries ago. there’re still a few of us left, but most of us don’t want to be found.” “you’re not one of them, though,” yunho pointed out.
“and with good reason,” you stepped closer as yunho stepped back. sighing, you held up your hands in surrender, “do i look like i’m going to attack you or something?” “you can never be too careful,” he shrugged.
“i’ll tell you an easier way of getting that hourglass without taking this cave down.” yunho’s arm faltered, “what do you mean?” “this entire island relies on the life within the roots, the air, the animals, you know, all that shit. you break this cave the entire island goes down with it. you and your crew would never make it out alive.”
he swallowed. he wasn’t sure if you could be trusted. shapeshifters were known to be tricksters, always up to no good. what if you were playing with him and he could’ve saved precious time taking the hourglass instead of talking to you? after meeting your impatient eyes, he finally decided to play it safe.
“what do you want in return?” “get me off this island,” you replied instantly. the lack of hesitation in your voice made yunho believe you’ve had thought about this for a long, long time. he sucked in a breath through his gritted teeth. the crew couldn’t just find an extra person for charity. they were already rationing their supplies amongst themselves, adding another person might as well be a goodbye to their albeit uncomfortable but familiar living.
“take me with you or no hourglass. your choice,” you crossed your arms, tone firm. yunho swallowed again, putting his cutlass away and rubbing a hand on his face, “you’ll have to talk to the captain.” “fine, then take me to him.” “you can’t just-” yunho wanted to scream. despite being a pirate since birth, he’d never experienced a situation like this, and he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do.
“you know what? fine, let’s go find him,” yunho pursed his lips. he knew for a fact hongjoong would never agree, but how else were they supposed to get the hourglass? it wasn’t like they could just bow their heads and march back onto the ship and off.
reminding himself of the crudely drawn map in their meeting room, yunho walked for what felt like hours with the intensity of your glare burning the back of his head. he thought he could drop onto his knees and thank the heavens the second he saw the familiar back of hongjoong.
hongjoong darted up at the sound of foreign footsteps, swinging his pistol at your face out of instinct. “she wants to speak to you,” yunho deadpanned, annoyed at the situation he was currently in. hongjoong lowered his pistol slightly, aiming at your chest now, “what do you want?” “i’ll talk when you get this pistol out of my face,” you frowned.
“i’m the one with the upper hand here, you really shouldn’t be making demands.” “considering i’m one of the remaining residents of this island who knows what you’re looking for and how to get it without dying, i don’t think you are.” hongjoong made a face, “and how do i know you’re telling the truth?” “you pirates. always so nervous about everything you see,” you paused, “i want to get off this island, you can help with that, and in return i’ll give you the hourglass.”
yunho looked for a reaction from hongjoong. when he was met with none, yunho was almost disappointed over the fact that his captain was considering his answer. “okay then,” hongjoong put his pistol away, “lead the way.” yunho felt his cheeks flushing at your cheeky smile. sure, he disliked you and your cocky attitude, but he wasn’t blind. anyone could tell you were gorgeous.
“i told you guys one of you was going to get into some shit. now look who’s cleaning it up?”
≡☆
it took a while for the entire crew to be gathered in the tiny cave the cromer rested in, all squished together to get a look at the hourglass while poor mingi stood on his tiptoes at the mouth of the cave. yunho watched in awe as you lifted your hands up, determined to keep his eyes open, only to be slapped with another aggressive gust of wind blowing in his face again.
he blinked cautiously, not realising his eyes had shut involuntarily. yunho vaguely felt his breath hitching at the infamous hourglass held in your hands. the gentle glow of each individual grain amongst the heaps of sand shimmered, tugging on his attention, while contrasting with the simple and plain metal supporting the phials.
“so?” you shifted your weight, waiting for something to happen.
and something happened indeed.
one look from hongjoong was all the crew needed as san shoved you to the ground, with seonghwa snatching the cromer from your grip and tossing it to jongho, the rest sprinting back to their ship. yunho followed his crewmates swiftly, but not before throwing his head back and yelling a quick “sorry!”
in his defense, he was sorry. just not sorry enough to feel guilty about it.
he nearly crashed straight into wooyoung’s back as he skidded to a sudden halt, confused as to why they stopped. sitting on the edge of the ship, legs swinging with an unamused expression, was you. but how…
“you really think you can outrun a doe? how self-centered.” hongjoong stared right back at you, irritated, “you can’t come with us.” “then i’ll take that back.” “i’d like to see you try,” he retorted, pistol now in hand again, “you can outrun me but can you outrun a bullet aiming straight for your head?” you huffed, “i’m not asking you to adopt me or anything, i just need you to drop me off at the nearest island.”
“bullshit. you’re saying you want to go from one island to another?” jongho scoffed from beside wooyoung. “i can’t leave this place without company. please just-” you sighed, and yunho could tell you felt defeated, “please just take me with you.” if he didn’t feel guilty enough, he definitely felt bad now. “cap, maybe we should take her.”
hongjoong gave him an odd look, clearly bewildered, “you were the one who insisted on leaving her.” “yeah well, i kinda feel bad for her now. she’ll stay with us for a few days maximum then we’ll just drop her off somewhere,” yunho briefly glanced at you, lowering his voice now, “i mean, maybe she really can’t leave. what, are we just going to dump her here?”
“i say we make her a deal,” yeosang chimed in, “she can live with us until we locate a nearby island, but if we arrive and it ends up being a bad one, she can’t argue and climb back aboard.” hongjoong nodded approvingly, “yeah, that sounds good.”
yunho watched as your face lit up when he repeated their deal to you. he silently swore to himself to always bring happiness to you during your stay if it meant he could catch a glimpse of your endearing smile again.
≡☆
yunho had volunteered to wrap up the cut on your arm you earned from san’s shove, despite seonghwa usually being the one to tend to the crew’s injuries. he led you down the stairs and to the medical room (which, really, was just their meeting room with a medical kit placed on the table), kicking away scraps of used bandages to the corner, praying you didn’t see them.
as he sat you down opposite him and began prepping the bandages, he began to wonder about you. where were your parents? how did you manage to come onto the island? why did you not have friends? what-
“you look like you have questions.” his gaze snapped up from your arm to your eyes, “no i- well, yeah, kind of.” you laughed lightly, “it’s okay, i get it. i’d be confused too.” yunho hoped you took the redness tainting his cheeks as embarrassment from being caught rather than his giddiness from your laugh. he motioned for you as he got started on wrapping your arm.
“i used to live on a different island, where my parents were. i met this guy, chan, and after being friends with him for a year or so, he offered to take me on a trip with his seven friends. i agreed. i honestly don’t know why i did. it was a spur of the moment thing. i followed him to the docks, where his ship was. turns out he’s a pirate and he’s the captain, much like your crew, actually.
“they said they wanted to go find some ‘treasures’, i just assumed they were joking around. they said they wanted to find an hourglass, i think one of the crew, hyunbin or whatever, said it belonged to his father. i remembered having heard some legends about it, and offered to lead the way. we searched for months, and finally found it on this island.
“when we arrived, they began arguing over who got to have it; they all had a different timeline in mind. someone wanted to go find their dead parents, someone wanted to rescue their girlfriend, it was- it was a lot,” you closed your eyes, throwing your head back, “we weren’t even from this timeline, for fuck’s sake! they fucked with the cromer as soon as they got their grubby hands on it, knowing damn well it was a full moon! i don’t even know what happened, to be honest, either that, or i can’t remember. it doesn’t matter. i don’t want to anyway.
“i think it’s something to do with the stupid hourglass. my theory is it passes down ownership to whomever it deems worthy to hold it, eliminating the past owners. that’s how i ended up alone. i tell myself they each left one by one, but it still bothers me how cursed magic like that exists. i don’t know, the whole thing’s really messed up. i guess being the holder gives you power to hide or expose it to others, because, well, as you saw, i could play around with its surroundings.” yunho hummed, taking in all the information.
he tightened the knot on your bandage, breathing out through his nose and rocking on his chair, “well, now that i know a lot about you, ask me anything you want.” “anything?” you lifted your head up again, eyes wide. yunho smiled, “yeah.” you leaned forward, head resting against your palms, “how are you so cute?”
yunho began spluttering, rocking a bit too far back on his chair, nearly falling over until you grabbed his hand, laughing at his reaction. as soon as he steadied himself, he yanked his hand away, feeling like his entire skin was on fire. you had a proud grin on your face, “i’m playing with you. though, really, you are cute.” he was genuinely convinced right then and there that you were the human form of heaven itself with the way his heart was palpitating.
the only dilemma yunho was having with himself was the fact that you couldn’t stay with them.
he liked to think that you shared the same thought as him.
≡☆
somehow, hours later, yunho found himself next to you on the beach, admiring the sunset from afar. “i haven’t had company in ages,” you commented, “it’s nice. especially since it’s you.” yunho had really wanted to kick his feet and giggle over your bold words, but he opted for a light chuckle.
“do you ever miss your old timeline? or dimension, or however you say it,” he regretted his words instantly at the sad look on your face. “all the time. i had a boyfriend, you know? he tried to stop me from going. i ignored him out of spite because of the amount of arguments we got into before i left. they were mostly to do with chan, he never trusted him, and neither should i have.”
yunho ignored the new, strange sense of jealousy he was feeling, and placed a gentle hand on your shoulder, “you wouldn’t have known.” you only gave a weak smile in response. “so tell me about your boyfriend.” you stiffened up slightly before relaxing again. if yunho wasn’t staring at you, he would’ve missed it entirely.
“well, he was the sweetest guy i’ve ever met. people compared him to a puppy all the time because of his energy,” you hesitated, “he had dyed blond-ish hair, a cute smile, a great sense of humour. he was tall, and was really popular. he always knew just how to cheer me up when i was down. he was considerate, caring, kind, he was everything.” yunho felt himself slowly getting upset. how could he ever compare to him? he sounded perfect.
“jealous?” you teased, nudging him. “not at all,” yunho rolled his eyes, playing with his compass again. he watched your eyes lower onto the very object, a soft look in them. “of course you still have it,” you murmured. “what?” yunho furrowed his brows. had he heard correctly? “it’s nothing.”
≡☆
nighttime rolled around and eventually all of them gathered around; yunho had found himself subconsciously scooting closer to you, landing himself a knowing look from mingi.
while your eyes connected with the flames yeosang started minutes ago, yunho couldn’t help but admire every inch of your carefully sculpted face. it was funny, wasn’t it? how he, at first, hated your overconfident demeanour, your demanding character, your addictive voice, your adorable laugh… huh. maybe he’d never hated you.
“so are you guys going to hide it now that you have to wait to use it?” you tilted your head curiously, and yunho wanted to choke a fistful of sand down his throat to contain the squeals that were threatening to bubble up with how absolutely beautiful you were. he shrugged, “most likely.” “the full moon’s in three days. where would you hiding it for three days?” “up san’s ass,” wooyoung laughed, before getting smacked by san.
yunho couldn’t bring himself to laugh at wooyoung’s immature joke. not when he now knew that he never had a chance with you to begin with.
but hearing your contagious laughter made him think of how lucky he was to have met you at all.
≡☆
“i know you, yunho, and i know you like her-” “like is an exaggeration.” seonghwa rolled his eyes, “just listen to me. she’s not going to be staying with us for long, and if you keep giving yourself a chance to get to know her, you’ll end up getting heartbroken.” “but isn’t that the point? maybe, when we use the cromer and get to a different dimension, maybe we can be together there…” he trailed off at how ridiculous he sounded. “that’s not how it works, and you know it,” seonghwa’s tone was now stern, almost to the point of telling yunho off.
“she clearly likes me too, can’t we at least enjoy the little amount of time we have together?” mingi tossed an arm around yunho from behind, “i say go for it.” “of course you’d say that,” seonghwa tsked, before continuing, “i’m asking you, as part of your crew, and your friend, to think this through.” “i am thinking this through!” yunho insisted, “i’d rather go through a heavy heartbreak than leave her with a bunch of ‘what if’s. i really do like her, seong-”
“no, you’re thinking this with your plan of finding her in a different timeline. yunho, you can’t do that. do you know how risky that is? ignoring the fact how we’ve only known her for a day too!” “of course i know,” he hissed, “but i don’t care how risky it is. i’m doing it.” “love at first sight, some might say,” mingi patted yunho’s shoulder. “oh, don’t get him started on love now,” seonghwa groaned. “love is a stretch, but i definitely find her interesting enough to want to be with her.” “just say you like her, yunho. everyone and their mothers can hear your giggles at night in your room,” hongjoong teased.
yunho’s face flushed, “i don’t giggle!” with that, he left the tiny crowd and stormed off to the meeting room. to his surprise, you were sitting at his regular seat, examining his compass. he left it there?
“so you want to be with me?” you raised an eyebrow, running a thumb over the quote the same way yunho does. “what- no?” yunho scoffed, taking a seat beside you. “i heard you guys. you get loud when you’re defensive. it’s okay, it’s cute.” yunho was at a loss for words. grasping for straws to change the topic, he gestured to the compass, “why did you say something like ‘i still have it’?”
you grew silent, and yunho thought you hadn’t heard him. he was about to repeat his question when you opened your mouth to answer, “i knew you, jeong yunho.” he flinched at the full name coming out of your mouth, “how…” “in my timeline. i knew you.”
you had the same stiff posture as you did on the beach, and yunho recalled what you were talking about during that time, “your boyfriend…” “yeah.” suddenly it all made sense. the dyed blond hair, the puppy personality, tall… yunho had heard every single one of them.
“we were together?” his voice was barely above a whisper. you nodded sadly, a bittersweet smile plastered, “i never got to say sorry for not believing you.” “well, at least i got an apology now,” he wrapped his hand around yours, the compass in between your interlocked fingers, and the cromer, your chance of a new happily ever after, placed on the table just centimetres away.

I need more feral Hiccup. Where he has an older brother to take over as Chief of Berk instead so Hiccup can go in all his adventures with Toothless. Maybe being known as "Stoick the Vasts' strange son." He is almost never seen around the village, and when he is, its usually just to work on more crazy inventions or an important family related thing. But even then, he is fidgety because he's not moving around near constantly. He can hang from trees, or anything he can grip onto. He lost his foot in the same way, and brought piece between Berk and the dragons. But he's still hard to control. Once he gets to about 18-19 he is finally allowed to leave the archipelago. He only followed the rule of no leaving the archipelago until a certain age. Once he leaves he finds the ship grave yard and the reaper. He explores it and finds the dragon eye. Keeping it, then making himself a target too Viggo Grimborn. They meet one night while Hiccup is just hanging out in the trees on Viggo's island. Viggo had been on a walk trying to calm down because Ryker is stupid and can't find "The dragon riding pest" who has something that belongs to them, and messes up their plans of capturing, killing and selling dragons. Hiccup was just fidgeting with something on his suit that had come loose, hanging upsidedown from a branch, back facing Viggo, who is rightfully confused. Why was this person hanging upsidedown on a tree branch for starters. And why was he on his island? Who is he?
Viggo realizes who he is once a night fury comes into view, said dragon having noticed Viggo just staring. Hiccup finishes what he was fixing and bends backwards (You know, cause hes flexible, Viggo is a little frightened by the position) to see who was behind him. He knew someone was there, he was just busy fixing something on his suit.
"So, you're the one who has been messing with my hunters." Viggo would start the conversation with. Hiccup would end up just leaving because he didn't (he did) have time for a conversation. They would keep running into each other until Viggo finally gets to see him without a mask covering his face. Viggo is taken back by how green Hiccups eyes are. And the freckles that are all over the boys face.
Obviously, Viggo isn't able to keep the feral dragon boy for long, Hiccup slips away and isn't seen for a couple weeks. In that time, Dagur joins the hunters, claiming to know Hiccup. The next time Hiccup is, somehow, captured, both Viggo and Dagur are there. He looks Dagur up and down and just says:
"Did you get uglier?" Viggo almost instantly falls in love with the way his voice sounds. He begins to become a bit, "a bit", obsessed with Hiccup. (We can go ahead and throw in some whump with this.) He then later learns that he can't keep Hiccup grounded if he wishes to get his love. Slowly, Viggo gets to know Hiccup and slowly stops hunting, killing and selling dragons. More interested in Hiccup. Obviously others are pissed about this, but Viggo doesn't care. Hiccup and Viggo start a romantic relationship over some time, Hiccup being allowed to go on his adventures when ever he wants. Not being grounded and refused the chance to be free, because thats not what Viggo wants. Hiccup always returns covered in mud, leaves, twigs in his hair, and cuts and scrapes. Viggo always help a with those, gives him the whole "You should be more careful out there" talk while doing so.
Oh, that reminds me of this post! I think when you sent this we as a fandom were discussing how Hiccup is more of an adventurer than a chief? This definitely plays into that! Him having an older brother would be super interesting. Wondering how that dynamic would work, and what would happen when others find out about Viggo.
Love their first “meeting”, by the way. Just… Hiccup hanging upside down from a tree and leaving once he’s spotted. Love how Viggo instantly clocks him as the one who’s been upending his operations.
It could be fun if something really bad happened to Hiccup on one of his adventures and Viggo has to go rescue him. The torment of worrying about him, of hoping he gets to him in time, of just not knowing.
Juicy ideas, my friend. Very juicy.

Tumblr media
A/N: Sharing this because I think it’s kind of cute. Since the movies don’t dive into Annie super deeply I based her character off one of my friends because she’s literally the sweetest person in the world
“It’s a clock, with a new threat every hour, and every threat is confined to its wedge,” Katniss explained, leading the group to the cornucopia. “Where that big tree is, that’s 12, which strikes every night at midnight. Next is the blood rain, next to that is the toxic fog, and then monkeys. And then at 10, that big waves comes from over there.”
“Okay, so we just stay out of whatever section is active, should be easy enough,” you put together, resting against the cornucopia. You were all then interrupted by a gasp. Turning your gaze you saw Gloss pull a blade from Wiress’ neck and heard the canon go off. Katniss didn’t waste a second before launching an arrow into his chest, another canon.
The other careers appeared as members of your group began fighting them off. Cashmere ran towards Katniss, causing Johanna to move her out of the way before launching an axe into Cashmere’s chest, another canon.
You looked over, finding Haymitch in a sword vs spear fight with one of the women from two. “Duck!” you yelled, pulling out a knife. Just as the woman was about to stab her spear at him again, he ducked, rolling to the side, allowing you to put a knife in her chest. It wasn’t enough to put her down at the moment though, as she merely pulled it out, attempting to throw her spear at you now. But before she could release it Haymitch put the blade through her stomach, stopping her short. Another canon.
And another canon as the body of the other female from 1 fell into the water. District 1 was officially out of the games now. Katniss went to chase a fleeing Brutus and Enobaria but Haymitch stopped her, telling her to let them go.
We couldn’t even stop to catch our breaths as the island started spinning. You were pretty sure you screamed “What the hell?” as you fell, grabbing onto the rocks desperately.
Weapons were flying out of the cornucopia and all you could do was pray nothing would hit you. You could feel your hands slipping as you continued to be whipped around. Fortunately the spinning slowed just as you couldn’t take it anymore. Once it stopped you stood up, immediately becoming dizzy but you didn’t care, too worried about your husband. You spotted him, throwing up next to the water. Not far away you could see some of the others helping Katniss out of the water. You reached Haymitch, patting his back as he finished emptying his guts.
“Are you okay?” he asked, placing an inconspicuous hand on your waist.
“Yeah,” you agreed, knowing what his hand placement meant. “Everything feels fine.”
“Y/N! Haymitch!” Finnick called, “we have to go.” You helped Haymitch up, grabbing a spare sword for him as the two of you followed the others off the island.
You, Haymitch, Katniss, Peeta, Johanna, Beetee, Annie, and Finnick all settled in the tree line, Beetee informing you that he had a plan. But before he could explain it you heard a scream from the jungle. “Katniss!”
She stiffens. “Prim?” she yells, running off in the jungle.
“I’ll get her, stay here,” you tell the others, “no sense in splitting up the group more.” You run after Katniss, jumping over hazards on the ground. Eventually you find her, “Hey, what’s-”
You’re cut off by a deep scream. Haymitch’s voice was screaming your name? As you tan towards the sound you wondered if he had followed you and run into a tribute on his way to find you. You didn’t really care as you continued into the jungle.
“Y/N It’s not him!” Katniss called after you. “It’s a jabberjay.”
“Jabberjay’s copy,” you insisted, Haymitch and Prim’s screams getting louder. Another voice you recognized as Gale’s started screaming too.
“Get to the beach,” Katniss called as the mutts started swooping down. They were screaming in your ear, beaks pecking at your skin as you ran. Eventually you spotted the others, your mind not connecting why it looked like they were banging on glass. Once you hit the forcefield you understood. Haymitch was looking at you, yelling something but you couldn’t hear him. All you could hear were tortured screams. You crouched down low, Katniss doing the same, trying to cover your ears and protect your head from the screaming, pecking birds. You felt tears flowing down your face as they continued, Haymitch desperately trying to keep your attention from the other side of the forcefield. You knew he was okay, he was right in front of you, but his screaming and yelling were still torture.
~
From the other side of the forcefield Haymitch was banging on it desperately. When he heard you shout for him he thought you may have run into another tribute. When he hit the forcefield and couldn’t get to you, that was the scariest moment of his life. Not when he was reaped, stood in the arena the first time, or even when he received an almost fatal wound in his first arena. Not when you got into fights your first games, not when you were taken from him the first time, and not even when the Quarter Quell was announced. It was torture to hear his wife scream but not be able to reach you. And when you came into view and reached the forcefield, screaming and crying, that was the most pain he felt. He was desperately trying to keep your focus on him but you were crouched in a fetal position, trying to protect yourself from the jabberjays. Unable to do anything, both he and Peeta sat down, trying to comfort each of you.
Haymitch wondered to himself whether or not the Capitol suspected or knew of your relationship yet. He wondered what the commentators had said when you reunited. It didn’t matter whether Snow was angry you both may have revealed the secret, Snow was trying to kill everyone from 12 anyways. After so many years of torture he wanted to send a “fuck you” to the Capitol, showing them that they didn’t own his wife.
~
You had no clue how long it was until the jabberjays flew away but it was very suddenly silent and Haymitch collapsed next to you, having been leaning up against the forcefield. “Y/N!” he immediately cried, pulling you towards him. “What happened?”
“I heard you screaming,” you sobbed. “I reached Katniss when I heard you yell. I thought you ran into another tribute but it was just the jabberjays. They sounded like you, they were screaming for me to help you.”
“Hey,” he shushed you. “I’m okay,” he stroked your hair. “And so are you. C’mon let’s go to the beach with the others. The water may calm you down.” You nodded, standing up on shaky legs as he led you to the ocean.
You settled down on the sand next to Katniss and Johanna as Haymitch went to find Peeta who was getting water.
“You know Peeta was right,” Johanna told Katniss. “The Capitol won’t touch your sister. If they tortured her or did anything to her, forget the districts there’s be riots on the fucking Capitol.” She turned her attention up to the sky. “Hey how does that sound Snow? What if we set your backyard on fire?” Katniss looked appalled at Johanna’s dare to outwardly defy Snow. “What? There’s no one left I love. He can’t hurt me,” she informed cavalierly.
Finnick and the others approached along with Haymitch and Peeta each cupping leaves of water. “I have a plan,” Beetee informs. “Where do the careers feel safest? In the jungle?”
“Jungle’s a nightmare,” Johanna countered.
“Probably here on the beach,” Peeta guessed.
“And why aren’t they here?” Beetee asked. You felt like you were in school again.
“Because we claimed it, it’s ours,” Johanna stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“And if we left they would come?”
“Or stay hidden in the tree line,” Finnick suggested.
“Which in just under four hours will be soaked from the 10 o’ clock wave,” Beetee remarked smugly. “And what happens at midnight?”
“Lightning strikes that tree,” you returned.
“Here’s what I propose. We leave at dusk, we head to the lightning tree, that should draw them back to the beach. Prior to midnight we then run this wire from the tree to the water. Anyone on the water or on the damp sand will be electrocuted.”
“How do we know the wire’s not gonna burn up?” Haymitch asked.
“Because I invented it. I assure you it won’t burn up.”
We all exchanged looks, everyone in the know about this plan except Katniss, Peeta, and probably Annie. “Well it’s better than hunting them down,” Johanna said, perfect in her begrudging attitude. “What do we do?”
“Keep me alive until midnight,” was all Beetee said.
~
Seeing as you all had a little while until you could set Beetee’s plan in motion you and Haymitch found a spot on the sand with Finnick, Annie, and Johanna. “Ugh everyone and their partners,” Johanna remarked in disgust. “Even District 1. Cashmere and Gloss were too close to just be sibling.”
Everyone laughed. “You could always date Beetee,” you joked, looking over at the man still fiddling with the wire.
She scoffed, “Not in a million years. Besides,” her tone became serious again, “I’m not gonna give the Capitol anymore ammo.”
“Fair,” you replied. “They didn’t have the chance to take anything from me.”
“What do you mean?” Annie asked curiously from Finnick’s arms.
“My mom died having me. It’s common in 12, there aren’t any real doctors. We have healers like Katniss’ mom but if you need surgery or something… you’re out of luck. And then my dad died when I was 12 in a mining accident. Also pretty common unfortunately,” you explained.
“You didn’t have any friends?” Annie asked, genuine concern painted on her face.
“No, not really. After my dad died I had to go to school and appealed to work in the mines. In 12 you’re supposed to wait until you’re 18 but because I had no way to get any money, I was allowed to work.”
“That’s awful, I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be. What about you Finnick? What’s your tragic backstory?”
He chuckled, thinking for a second. “Umm well, my parents had me, they’re both still alive. I had a lot of friends in school,” he shot a smug smile at you to which you rolled your eyes, “and then I was reaped at 14 and you all know the rest.”
“Better to be unremarkable than-” Johanna began.
“Excuse me? Unremarkable? I’m the youngest ever victor,” Finnick cut in with feigned offense.
“With a mommy and daddy who loved each other and plenty of food on the table,” Haymitch mocked.
“Okay Haymitch, what’s your story?” Finnick countered.
“I also grew up poor and then I was reaped for the deadliest Hunger Games. After, everyone I loved was dead so yeah,” Haymitch countered. It was all such sad, tragic information but the way each of you delivered it and framed it, it became a game to see who had suffered the most and each of you wanted to be the winner.
“Johanna?” you asked.
“Pretty much the same as Haymitch,” was all she said.
“Annie?”
She shrugged. “I was raised like Finnick,” she answered shyly.
“So I win,” Haymitch concluded proudly.
“I had the same fate as you,” Johanna scoffed.
“Yeah but my games had 48 tributes,” he countered.
“No I said backstory,” you interrupted, “which I win unless anyone else can beat orphan with no friends pre-their games. No one?”
“Okay fine,” Finnick conceded. “But if we’re talking post-games? I win.” You gave him a look. “Fine we both win.”
“Everyone I cared about was murdered,” Haymitch insisted.
“Yeah!” Johanna agreed. As they began to bicker you wondered if the Capitol was broadcasting this conversation. You doubt they’d allow the country to hear how they killed victors’ families and sold them into prostitution.
Finally Beetee interrupted the argument. “It’s time.”
~
You had helped Beetee wrap the wire around the tree and now it was time for you, Katniss, and Johanna to take it to the beach. “Make sure it doesn’t break, we need the connection,” Beetee stressed for the fifth time.
“Yes, Beetee, I know how electricity conducts,” you gave a sarcastic smile.
“Maybe I should go with them… as a guard,” Peeta interrupted.
You glanced at Johanna. Shit, you needed Katniss alone long enough to make the game makers think she’s dead. Fortunately Beetee stepped in. “No, I need you here to protect me. There are four tributes left, two of which are careers.”
“Why can’t Johanna stay?” Katniss asked.
“Look, it’s his plan,” Johanna interrupted. “Just do what he says.”
“Thank you,” Beetee said, turning back to the tree.
Katniss conceded, picking up the roll of wire. “Wait,” Haymitch said, stepping towards you. He then did the last thing that you expected. He placed a hand on our waist, the other on your jaw before pressing a kiss to your lips. You were surprised but returned the kiss nonetheless. when you finally pulled away Haymitch said, “Come back to me, okay?”
“Of course,” you agreed with a smile that he returned.
“Can we go?” Johanna called. “I don’t wanna be anywhere near the tree or the beach when the lightning hits.” So you complied, following the two girls.
You weren’t walking for very long when Katniss stopped. She tugged on the wire when it suddenly snapped. “Get down,” Johanna whispered, essentially tackling Katniss onto the ground. As she began cutting out Katniss’ tracker you spotted Brutus and Enobaria.
“I’ll lead them away,” you whispered. You threw a knife, barely scraping Brutus’ shoulder. He spotted you as you climbed out of the little valley you were in. Once you reached the top you ran off into the jungle, hoping to lead the careers away. Brutus and Enobaria were chasing after you as you ran around the jungle, gradually leading them towards the beach, away from Beetee and the others.
You were getting tired and you knew you couldn’t keep this up. Enobaria had become distracted by some other tribute but Brutus was still hot on your tail. As you reached the beach you found it extremely difficult to run in the sand given your legs that felt like lead. Brutus had the opportunity and he took it, tackling you to the ground. Hard. You didn’t notice anything at first, just trying to grab one of your knives as quickly as possible. Brutus had dropped his sword as he had tackled you, leaving him to try to get the knife from you. Fortunately you were quicker as you shoved the knife up into his throat, blood spilling all over you.
As you pushed his body off you heard a canon go off. And then you felt it. Intense cramping in your stomach like none you had ever felt. Tears began to slip down your face as you realized what was happening. You could faintly feel blood pooling in your pants as you rolled over, curling into a fetal position.
You felt sobs wrack your body as you realized you were having a miscarriage. You had made it through the games, you were almost to the end but it happened now? Why couldn’t Brutus have just not tackled you? How were you going to tell Haymitch? He so rarely let himself get excited over things but he was excited to start new and have a family.
Just then the entire arena went dark. Not even a minute later there was a hovercraft over you, the death claw scooping you from the sand. Had they accidentally grabbed you instead of Brutus? But before your questions could be answered you blacked out from blood loss.
~
“Katniss!” Finnick yelled just as she released the arrow into the forcefield. Haymitch and he had been running towards her but were blown back as lightning hit the tree, causing the explosion. Fortunately for him and Finnick they were far enough away that they didn’t get hurt too badly but Katniss was still half conscious as a hovercraft appeared, lifting her out of the arena like on of the deceased. “Go!” Finnick told Haymitch as a ladder dropped. “I’ll get Beetee.”
“What about Y/N and Annie?” Haymitch asked.
“Annie is near the other pickup site, Johanna should’ve brough Y/N there too. We gotta go before the Capitol gets here!” So Haymitch reluctantly went up the ladder, following up after Katniss. He looked down briefly, finding Finnick climbing the ladder with Beetee wrapped around his shoulders like a sack of flour.
Once Finnick was a couple feet off the ground the ladder started to be pulled up automatically. As soon as Haymitch got inside, he turned to help Finnick with Beetee.
Once everyone was safely inside the hovercraft, Plutarch made his presence known. Finnick was the first to speak. “You got Annie and Y/N?” All Plutarch did was purse his lips and look down. Haymitch felt dread fill him. “What?” Finnick demanded sharply. “You got them out right?”
“There was an issue. The Capitol found out sooner than we anticipated and were were only able to secure this hovercraft and because you were all close to Katniss. The people on this ship are the only ones we were able to rescue.”
Both Finnick and Haymitch were angry and terrified. “You left them in there?!” Haymitch yelled. “Why didn’t-”
“You both knew the risks!” Plutarch interrupted. “You both knew not everyone was coming out of that arena and that Katniss was the target. I’m sorry but there’s nothing that we can do. We can’t get back into Capitol airspace and the arena is swarmed with Peacekeepers now.”
Haymitch was furious. More so than when he was reaped, his family was killed, or all those times when you were taken from him. If he and you couldn’t get out together, at least you should’ve gotten out. You and his child that you were carrying.

Jealousy is your enemy
Tumblr media
Summary: After patching up your friend, Neteyam can’t help but get jealous
Warnings: Cuts, jealousy, bruises, yelling, angst
part 2 part 3
You were in the tent with Ronal Helping out and taking care of the injured warriors who had gotten hurt during the last raid. Your mate Neteyam had flown out with Jake for another raid a few hours ago. You sometimes worried for him since these raids could get very physical. You saw firsthand how some of them went down since you patched and healed the warriors of the clan. You were helping out a young Na’vi male. He had a very severe Cut on his back and on his hip from the last raid and had to come in weekly to see you so you could mend them.
His name was Rawpi son of the best gatherers in your clan. He was very young for a warrior but he was one of your best. He was also very handsome and talked about a lot since he had just finished the rituals for becoming a full adult to the clan so the women would talk about who he would mate with. He was very kind to everyone especially you. He’s been having weekly check ins for about a month now and you two have become very close.
He was always making jokes with you that you’d laugh at. Your mate Neteyam had noticed how close you two he gotten and despised Rawpi for it. Neteyam didn’t get jealous easily but Rawpi would maybe put a hand on your shoulder when he’d laugh or when you would patch him up he would look into your eyes for a little too long. You never noticed these things since you did have a mate and loved him very much.
Today was different when Rawpi came in he was a bit early with a severe cut on his face when he came in this morning. As he sat down you looked at his face inspecting the wound “Rawpi what was it this time” you laughed as he explained “I was hunting with my friends in the early morning we were messing around with the hunting arrows and Aounug threw one to me and it scraped my face” you rolled your eyes in annoyance as you were touching it.
“Ah!” He winced
“How bad does it hurt?” As you moved away from his face.
“It only hurts when you touch it y/n” he watched you as you looked for your disinfectant in your supplies
“It looks pretty bad to me Rawpi you need to be careful!” As you got a disinfectant to wipe the blood
“Yes yes I know 🙄” You took his face in one hand to signal him to look to the side.
“So has your back been feeling?” You wiped the disinfectant on his face.
“It feels much better thanks to the great Y/n!” He smiled causing you to smile back.
“I’m happy, I think you might need stitches tho”
You noticed how tense he got from that comment. “I promise to be very careful as I always am Rawpi” “It hurt very bad last time Y/N” “don’t be so Irresponsible next time then”.
“I promise” he flashed a quick smile to reassure you he was being honest
“You better Rawpi” you walked up to grab the stitches from the back room. The supply storage was a huge room only the Tshaik and her helpers could go in. It had massive Piles of Supplies. It was guarded by a tree bark almost like bamboo made door. The shelves were also made of the strong tree bark. You walked to find the stitches. You grabbed the box and walked out. All of a sudden you heard the siren for the Raid Party Coming back. You had to stop yourself from running and going to see Neteyam since you had a client waiting patiently but you knew you were going to suprise him later.
You had set up a romantic dinner date on another island for you and your mate. You knew how hard he was working so you wanted to surprise him. You knew how much he hated suprises but you loved giving them to him but he was always grateful for them. As you walked back you saw The warriors coming back from the raid unsatting their animals through the slit from the huts curtains. You sat down and put the supplies next to you on your mat.
You started reading and cleaning the supplies as you saw Neteyam walk in with minor cuts and bruises on him. You made eye contact and smiled. He smiled back walking over.
“Ma Y/N i was looking for you” with a dissatisfied face
“I am sorry love I’m stitiching up Rawpi” Your eyes looking at Rawpi then Netayam.
Rawpi waved a friendly hello. Neteyam just scoffed. “Teyam go get patched up we can talk later” You pointed over to another nurse if the clan. He walked over but never taking his eyes off you and Rawpi. He hated the way Rawpi looked at you with such want and need. He wanted to be the only one who could look at you like that. He was everything you ever wanted and nothing could ever change your mind about that you loved him to the moon and back and even more then that. But sometimes he jealousy couldn’t see that. He looked at Rawpi with such rage he could hardly contain himself but he wasn’t about to make a scene in front of the whole clan.
You got back to taking care of Rawpi. You cleaned off the needle to stitch.
You held the stitch right next to his face “Ok now I want you to breathe deep breathes in and out ok” he nodded in agreement as he breathed deep. You poked the needle in and started stitching. What you didn’t notice was Rawpi eyes on you the whole time watching your every delicate movement. He was trying his best not to move for you he didn’t wanna annoy you with his pain.
“Last stitch almost done” you reassured him as you put the last stitch in.
You leaned back admiring your work you had only done stitches a few time before this so you weren’t amazing at it but you did pretty good. You held Rawpis face in your hands to check for any infections of any kind. Neteyam stared you down the whole time not even noticing the nurse trying to get his attention. The Na’vi women snapped in front of his face he turned to look at her “oh uh sorry” he said looking back at you and Rawpi.
“Ok I’ll see you next week Rawpi be safe and don’t get into any trouble!” You bid him farewell as he got up. You looked over at Neteyam to see he wasn’t there. You had the morning shift today so you got off early. You got up and put away all the supplies you used and said goodbye to Ronal and the other girls. As you were walking to your shared pod you say Kiri and Roxto walking down the beach.
“Kiri!” You ran up behind her and Roxto and hugged her from behind.
“Omg y/n!” Kiri giggled and turned around to hug you face to face.
“I never see you anymore where have you been Y/n?” She was right you really never saw anyone anymore or had any free time. You were always with Ronal practicing your techniques or helping the new mothers with their children. You got home almsot every night tired and fell asleep almsot right away. You felt bad since you and Neteyam harldy saw eachother anymore but that didn’t put a strain on your relationship. You still had date night every week and you lived for those nights. You and Neteyam would take your ilu’s and go a picnic on an island not to far from yours. You 2 would switch off on who would plan it every week.
“I’m sorry I’ve been so busy With Ronal lately we never hang out anymore!” You sighed letting go of the hug
“Yk Neteyam was just asking about you Y/N he seemed pretty upset” you tilted your head in confusion
“What really? He seemed fine when I talked to him”
“I think he went to your pod go check on him Y/N we can talk later” she gave a reassuring smile to you as her and Roxto kept walking down the beach. As you came to the front of your pod you opened the shades to find Neteyam sharpening a hunting knife while sitting on your mat. You walked over sitting next to him with your head in his shoulder
“What is wrong Teyam?” You said softly tracing circles on his arm
“Nothing” he huffed in annoyance.
“You do not seem like yourself have I done something to anger you?” I let out a sigh waiting for his reply
“It is nothing important” He replied after a long silence
“You are lying tell me Teyam” you sat up moving to sit in front of him to hold his hand.
He looked down at your intertwined hand then at you. He let out a sigh “it is just I don’t like the way Rawpi acts to you” he looked away in embarrassment.
As you cupped his face “Rawpi is just a friend do not worry”
You reassured him giving a kiss to his hands.
“You are wrong I see the way he looks at you he is looking for a mate and he thinks you feel the same”
“Well he is wrong I do not want Rawpi I want my mate that I love and care for everyday I don’t want him I only want you Teyam” looking at his face he looked up to meet your eyes. You brought his hand to your face to nuzzle into. You smiled wanting a smile back but only getting met with a scoff.
As he looked to the side “He is not worthy of you Y/n”
Your smile dropped quickly only having to respond with “I do not know what you want me to do Teyam we are mated isn’t that enough?”
He looked up as he raised his voice “no it is not I do not want you to talk to him he is a skwang!”
You looked at him with shocked eyes he had never yelled at you before. He’s gotten angry but hes never yelled at you.
You stood up looking down at him with a loud voice “Do not raise your voice at me neteyam”
He stood up now looking down at you “I CAN YELL ALL I WANT Y/N”
You looked at him with only disbelief that he was talking to you like this “DO NOT BE LIKE THIS TEYAM I DID NOTHING WRONG”
“YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID Y/N I DO NOT WANT YOU AROUND THAT NA’VI ANYMORE”
You looked at him all you could see was the fury and jealousy in his eyes.
“YOU KNOW WHAT RAWPI WOULDNT TREAT ME LIKE THIS”
He looked at you in disbelief he couldn’t process what he just heard come out of his mates mouth he was so mad his vision wasn’t even clear.
“FINE THAN GO TO YOUR LITTLE RAWPI WHO YOU LOVE SO MUCH THEN Y/N” as he pointed to the door
“FINE I WILL THEN TEYAM” You scoffed as you stormed off to god knows where
Ok guys idk if this is good or not I hope you like it i might make a part 2 but I would love some feedback cause I don’t love this but lmk thanks guys

My (unofficial) PJO season 2 episode 5 script part 3/4 (part 1 | part 2)
I think towards the end of this section my lack of screenwriting experience becomes more apparent but I had a vision and tried to paint the picture probably a little too much so sorry if you're an actor/screenwriter and it looks/reads weird.
Images of script and copied text (bc I'm lazy and don't want to write out alt text) under the cut, just in case I didn't tag enough spoiler warning or people aren't interested <3
Annabeth Tries to Swim Home
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MATCH CUT TO: INT. DARK VICTORIAN HOUSE – NIGHT.
Continuation of first scene/flashback. YOUNG ANNABETH is still running down the hallway, but seems more determined.
Thunder shakes the windows as she runs down a staircase. She turns a corner into a sitting room. The chairs are upturned, feathers coming out of the pillows all over the floor. A draft comes in from the dark fireplace, whistling with the storm.
Annabeth stops in the middle of the room, facing the three doors that she has to choose from. They look the same.
Hearing heavy footsteps, she opens the leftmost door, closing it quickly behind her. Breathing heavily, she presses her back to the door.
Looking around the room, Annabeth finds herself in an orangery, the glass pelted by rain. Two of the large windows were cracked, spiderwebs expanding from old sites of impact. A few dead fruit trees sit in one corner.
Through the cracks and the rain, Annabeth can see a light coming from a window several rooms down on the first floor of the house. Creeping closer, she presses her hand to the glass as she watches the light.
In another room, Annabeth can see the CYCLOPS, but not much of the room. He lifts his arm, raising THALIA into view from the window. She struggles, and he looks to be laughing. He sets her back down, bending down himself as well (to tie her up, off screen).
Turning from the window, Annabeth looks determined.
YOUNG ANNABETH: (quietly) Hang on, Thalia. I’m coming.
She leaves the orangery from the second door, leading to a less Victorian hallway, one that would have been a servants’ corridor a few centuries ago. The walls look to be made of clay, and the floor is uneven in places. She nearly trips.
Annabeth creeps through an open door, entering a dark room with a long table and walls lined with cupboards. China is smashed on the floor, half the cupboard doors open and hanging by hinges all along the room. Ahead, there’s an open door, light spilling through.
Annabeth approaches, looking through to see a large room that used to be a kitchen, a large broken stove and Victorian era cookware off to one side. In the middle of the room is a raging fire. There are bones all over the floor.
Near the stove sit THALIA, LUKE, and GROVER, tied up. Luke has a large gash at his hairline, but they seem mostly unharmed. Annabeth follows their eyes to see the large Cyclops in the middle of the room, near the fire. He is already looking at her, grinning.
CUT TO: EXT. QUEEN ANNE’S REVENGE – DAY
PERCY is on deck, steering the ship through the sea. ANNABETH appears behind him, coming up from the cabin below.
PERCY: (turning to look at her) Hey. How did you sleep?
ANNABETH: Fine. I-- (pointing) Percy. Look.
In the distance, a lush island can be seen, meadows and forest on one side, cliffs and beach on the other.
ANNABETH (CONT): Are we...?
PERCY: (nodding) 30, 31, 75, 12. That’s it.
They look out at the island, closer now. Annabeth points towards a large tree.
ANNABETH: The Fleece.
PERCY: What’s protecting it? There’s no way it’s as easy as just going up there and taking it.
ANNABETH: There should be... Jason had to fight a dragon in the story. It should have a guardian of some sort.
As they watch, one of the large sheep visible on the island breathes fire, setting the grass in front of it aflame. The fire quickly dies, leaving brown grass that turns back to green and vibrant as they watch.
ANNABETH (CONT): The Fleece must keep the island unburned.
PERCY: So when we take it, it’ll just burn?
ANNABETH: (gasping) Percy, look!
On the beach is a small boat, just like the one they escaped the CSS Birmingham on.
PERCY: That’s the other lifeboat. You don’t think...
ANNABETH: (grim) We’ll never be able to get through those sheep. Sail around to the cliffs.
CUT TO: EXT. POLYPHEMUS’ ISLAND – DAY.
Cliffs and sea sparkle in frame. The Queen Anne’s Revenge sails into view around the cliffs, stopping at the base of them. Percy and Annabeth are on deck looking up at the cliffs, a little apprehensive.
ANNABETH: Come on. It’ll be just like the climbing wall back at camp.
PERCY: That’s what I’m worried about.
Annabeth glares at him. Percy readies himself.
PERCY (CONT): Okay. Let’s go.
Percy moves towards the cliffs, as if to start climbing.
ANNABETH: I’m going first.
PERCY: What? Why?
Annabeth rolls her eyes and begins climbing. Percy makes a sarcastic gesture and follows.
Percy and Annabeth climb the cliffs, steadily making their way up. Percy mostly follows the path Annabeth takes.
ANNABETH: Watch out here.
Percy chooses a slightly different path at her warning.
Suddenly, Percy’s hand slips. He dangles from the cliff by one hand. With the sideways motion, RIPTIDE falls out of his pocket, landing in the sea below. Percy looks down before refocusing on the cliff, finding another handhold.
ANNABETH (CONT): Are you okay?
PERCY: (looking down) Yeah. Let’s go.
ANNABETH: What was that?
PERCY: Nothing. It’ll come back. (turning back to the cliff) Let’s go.
They continue climbing, starting back up a little slower than they were before.
Nearly at the top, Annabeth’s foot slips.
ANNABETH: Oh!
She flounders before finding a foothold on Percy’s head. She rebalances.
PERCY: Ah!
Percy tries to remain still, supporting her in spite of his surprise. Annabeth moves her foot back to the cliff.
ANNABETH: Sorry.
PERCY: It’s okay.
ANNABETH: Sorry.
Annabeth reaches the top of the cliff, pulling herself over. She turns back and helps Percy up too. Percy goes to speak, but Annabeth puts her hand over his mouth to stop him.
They move to the edge of the ledge they are on, peering down into a cavern below. Through the crack, they can see POLYPHEMUS, GROVER in his wedding dress, a large fire in the middle of the floor, and CLARISSE, tied up.
CLARISSE: (struggling) Give me back my sword and I’ll fight you!
POLYPHEMUS: Well, bride? Should we eat her now, or save her for wedding feast tonight?
Grover flounders, nearly tripping over his dress.
CLARISSE: Bride? Do you mean Grover?
ANNABETH: (whisper) Shut up, Clarisse.
POLYPHEMUS: What is a ‘Grover?’
CLARISSE: The satyr? He’s right there.
GROVER: Oh, dear, her poor brain is boiling, you have to--
CLARISSE: In the wedding dress!
Polyphemus turns to Grover and pulls off the wedding veil, revealing his horns. Grover exclaims.
POLYPHEMUS: I don’t see so well. Not since Nobody stabbed me in eye. But you. Are no lady Cyclops!
Grover cries out as Polyphemus swipes at him.
GROVER: Oh, stop! Don’t eat me raw!
POLYPHEMUS: (pausing, holding up a boulder) Eat you raw?
GROVER: Oh, no, I’ll taste awful! I have a recipe! I’ll taste much better grilled, with mango chutney!
POLYPHEMUS: Mango chutney?
GROVER: Yes, yes. You have mangos right out there, in the forest. I’ll just wait here. You go gather them.
Polyphemus considers, before turning to Clarisse.
POLYPHEMUS: Grilled satyr. You are one too?
CLARISSE: No, you overgrown pile of dung! I am the daughter of Ares! Untie me so I can rip your arms off!
POLYPHEMUS: Rip my arms off.
CLARISSE: And stuff them down your throat! Let me down!
POLYPHEMUS: You got spunk. Have to graze sheepies now. Wedding after, with grilled satyr for the feast!
GROVER: You’re... Still getting married?
Polyphemus looks at Clarisse.
PERCY: (quietly, from above) Ew.
Polyphemus gathers his sheep, throwing the door to the cave open as Clarisse understands.
CLARISSE: Oh, no, you cannot be serious. Absolutely--
POLYPHEMUS: I come back at sundown for the big event!
He seals the cave, mumbling about mangos as he walks down the mountain with his sheep.
ANNABETH: (exchanging a glance with Percy) Come on. I have a plan.

Happy Anniversary, Three Adventurers!
Have a musical fan mix! Thanks, @captmickey for all the wonderful stories of this trio.
Annotations below the cut
"Ordinary Day" by Great Big Sea
This one just feels like the trio to me. Bandits, supernatural entities, wacky errands and unsolved mysteries - it's all just in an ordinary day's work for them. And more to the point, no matter how challenging things get, they hang on to hope and friendship, and it's what makes all the difference. It really is all about your state of mind, and at the end of the day, you've just got to say it's all right.
"Hoist Up the Thing" by the Longest Johns
This nautical song never fails to make me thing of Guybrush! Sure, by the time he meets Link and Graham, he knows his way around a ship much better than this song would suggest, 1) it hearkens to his background, and 2) the outlook of the song is still spot on - Guybrush will fake his way through anything with a winning smile, a well-developed snark, and choosing confidence.
"Ninja Archer" by Luke Cyrus
I mean, how do you think Graham likes to imagine himself when he's walking through the forest, dodging all the tricky tricks? Under a canopy of bubblegum trees (pink?) no less! Sounds like Daventry to me. And he wonders if he'll be the leader who'll protect the villagers... Yep. I'll take it.
"Chosen" by Laura Brehm
It's not easy to be the Chosen Hero, is it, Link? But you live up to it. You do.
"Fireflies" (instrumental cover by Cullen Vance)
For nights round the campfire, and hijinks and laughs, and fantastical landscapes to journey across.
"The Road Goes On" by A. R. Rahman and Vartiina
For chapter after chapter, the three friends have followed the road wherever it runs, always looking beyond the far horizon to their next goal, the next right thing, and the surprises along the way...
"Here We Go" by WILD
...throwing themselves headlong into danger, with courage flashing in their eyes, never looking back, never slowing down.
"Back Home" by Andy Grammer
Even when they go their separate ways in life, they never forget each other, and always find their way back into each others' lives. And their adventures back in the day keep forming them, always.
"Silver" by the Gray Havens
There's always that one song that gets added on intuition and vibes. This is the one. Have a listen and see if you agree with me.
"Jump Rope" by Blue October
Though the story is filled with laughs and optimism and teamwork, it doesn't mean that thing don't get hard for the trio. A lot. If things are getting too easy, you can bet the jumprope is about to turn high into low - but vice versa too.
"Renegades" by X Ambassadors
They're an unconventional three, for sure. Mavericks and goofs, living like their renegades even though all of them are successes in their own lands. And the undercurrent of friendship in this song made it a sure bet.
"The Legend of Zelda" by L'Orchestra Cinematique, "Fall in Daventry," by David and Ben Stanton, and "The Secret of Monkey Island" by the GameBrass
Try and puzzle out these selections, why don't you.
BONUS: "Adventure is a Wonderful Thing" from "Pooh's Grand Adventure"
I couldn't resist.

Sacrifice (Charlie Lonnit x G/N!Reader)
Tumblr media
This oneshot is for my friend @foxygamer713 who is also writing their own version of this oneshot idea. When I saw this Charlie death with the guilty trophy, it made me think of a oneshot idea where the reader saves Charlie but falls off the cliff instead with Du’Met! If any other the devil in me oneshot writers want to write their own version of this idea are welcome to! I would love to read them if you decide to!
◇◇◇
"Erin? Jamie, Kate!" Y/N shouted as they looked around for the three after they had gotten separated from them when they were running away from Du'Met, ending up climbing a tree to hide from the murderer.
After waiting a couple minutes to make sure that the coast was clear, Y/N decided to climb down and look for the others.
When they finally got to the clearing where the island lighthouse was, what they saw made them freeze.
Du'Met, who had a knife in his hand as he carved something onto Charlie's chest, who had a piece of paper coated in his own blood, stuffed into his mouth, muffling his painful screams.
But when he started to drag Charlie over to the edge of the cliff, that's when something inside of Y/N snapped.
"No!" They shouted as they bolted straight towards them, shoving Du'Met away from Charlie, but they didn't realize until too late that they were right by the edge of the cliff, so her and the murderer both fell over the edge and down the cliff.
"Y/N!" Was the last thing they heard as they fell into the freezing cold water while Du'Met hit the rocks at the base of the cliff.
Then everything went dark.
◇◇◇
Charlie felt his tears stream down his face as he tried to shout, the partial blood soaked paper preventing him from doing so as he tried to free himself, but also to no avail.
"Charlie!" Mark shouted as he and Erin rushed to his side, the camera man freeing him from his binds as Erin took the bloodied paper out from his mouth.
"Charlie, what happened?" She asked with concern as Kate and Jamie emerged from the woods, looking both concerned and confused as hell.
"Y/N... they tackled Du'Met..." the older man muttered as he tried to make his way towards the cliff after Mark untied him, but Jamie kept him back from the edge, not wanting him to fall off.
The group slowly approached the edge to see Du'Met's body lying motionless on the slabs of rock below, but Y/N's body was nowhere to be see.
"They... they could have landed in the water if they didn't hit the rocks, they could still be alive." Erin said as she refused to believe Y/N was dead.
"Let's hope so..." Kate muttered as they all watched as Du'Met sit up while looking up at them, causing Charlie and Mark to jump back away from the cliff.
"We have to go, now!" Jamie exclaimed as the group ran away from the cliff and down towards shoreline to find a boat and escape while they could.
◇◇◇
As the group made it down closer to the lake, pain started to spread across Charlie's chest, the adrenaline from everything that happened was starting to go away.
Hesitatly, he looked down at his chest, the bloody letters cut into his skin, spelling out the word 'Complicit'.
"Shit." He muttered, catching the other’s attention.
Kate walked over and helped Charlie sit down and check on his injuries while Mark went to go start the boat, Erin following behind him.
"They aren't super deep but they are going to need to get stitches and bandages." She muttered as she ripped Charlie's vest up into strips to use as something to wrap around his injuries since they didn't really have anything else to use.
"Once Mark starts the boat we should be able to make it to mainland in no time." Jamie said as she made her way over to the two.
"I'm sorry about Y/N Charlie, and I know your extremely pissed at Erin and Mark for leaving you outside, but I know Y/N wouldn't want you to blame them or yourself for what happened to them."
This made Charlie snap his gaze up to Jamie.
"I don't want to talk about it." He hissed as Kate finished up treating the cuts.
Jamie instantly regret talking about it right there, she could see how hurt Charlie was about what happened to Y/N.
She knew that he cared about them a lot, and for them to sacrifice themselves to save him.
She felt bad for him.
That's when Jamie noticed something lying a bit away from where they were.
Curious, she decided to take a closer look.
But when she got closer, she felt her heart stop when she realized it was Y/N.
So they did fall into the water.
"Y/N! I found them!" She shouted to Charlie and Kate.
Hearing Y/N's name, Charlie looked back to where Jamie was, his heart stopped when he saw Jamie kneeling next to Y/N, who was lying on the ground from washing ashore.
Not wasting any time, Charlie stumbled towards them and fell to his knees, right by their side.
"Y/N... please no..." Charlie mumbled as he rolled Y/N onto their back.
Their skin was sickly pale and they were completely drenched from falling into the water, and they weren't breathing which made Charlie panic.
Ignoring the pain in his hand and chest, Charlie began to perform cpr.
'Please... please don't leave me...' he thought as tears fell.
As each moment passed, he was closer and closer to giving up when all of a sudden, Y/N began to cough out water, gasping for air.
"Y/N." Charlie pulled them into a gentle hug while being careful of his injuries.
"Thank god, we thought we lost you there." Jamie said with a smile as her and Kate helped them up.
"Well, I'm alive..." They mumbled as they then looked at Charlie and felt tears start to build up, seeing how injured the man was.
"Charlie... I'm so-" but they were cut off as Charlie engulfed them into an endearing embrace.
"I thought I lost you..." he whispered as he buried his face in the crook of their neck while Y/N gently rubbed his back.
"I'm sorry Charlie... I didn't know what else to do, he would have killed you."
Charlie pulled away a bit and kissed the top of their head.
"But I almost lost you. Please promise me you won’t do something that reckless again."
Y/N nodded as they gave Charlie a smile before the four made their way towards the boat where Mark, Erin, and the dog, Connie, waited with the boat running.
They were finally going to be able to escape from the island.

Different Species [Alpha Marco x omega reader] - part 1
Tumblr media
Important to understand the context
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 - Final
Word count: 1442
Oden's story spoiler from the Wano arc ___
(This takes place about 30 years earlier, 2 years after Momonosuke was born and when Marco was 15 years old)
Marco the Phoenix has recently joined Whitebeard's pirates as an apprentice. On a party night on the ship he suddenly started a routine surprising everyone by introducing himself as alpha, he introduced himself relatively late which led everyone including himself to think he was a beta.
After the routine was over the crew teased him for his new alpha status to which he replied with a shy smile, he didn't think he was an alpha.
Looking around Marco smiles at Oden's family, Toki and Momonosuke, as an alpha then his mate was also an omega and knowing how they are treated in this world he only wished he could find her as soon as possible.
It was only a moment, a few minutes, Toki went to the bathroom and Oden went to fill his drinking mug while Momo played with a beetle, but when Marco looked again he was gone. Getting up abruptly and calling out to him, the whole crew stops and realizes the boy's absence and immediately begins their search.
___
Y/n runs at great speed through the forest dodging deftly through the trees, the wind was in her favor omitting what little scent she had.
After everything that happened in the Kingdom of the Gods as a young girl she was forced to run away and live in hiding, but unfortunately a few months ago her luck had run out. Weakened, she was captured by a vulgar band of pirates who captivated by her pair of wings imprisoned her and cut off her wings to sell. A feeling she would never forget, with those cuts they took away all her freedom along with her ability to fly condemning her to live on the ground.
Shortly after they finished mutilating the young girl of only 15 a man entered the cabin and informed them that he had discovered that she was actually a Lunaria and that the government would pay 100million for any information regarding the whereabouts of one. Even damaged she was still one so they decided to let the wounds heal to try and make it look like they hadn't done it, if it was 100million for one piece of information how much would it be for delivering one? They were going to be rich.
When they stopped at this island Y/n didn't think twice and escaped, although she was trapped without wings to fly off the island. Hiding in the top of a tree Y/n watches as the pirates wander off, luckily the Lunarias present themselves late and their scent was not yet strong enough to make chasing them easy.
'Hey boss look what I found' Y/n's eyes widen at the sight of a child 'A child?' asks the Captain 'I thought we could sell him or just use him to do chores' Sighing the Captain orders the man to go put him on the ship. She frowns, there was no way in the world she would let that happen.
Following him through the trees Y/n waits until he is far enough away from the rest of the crew before reaching down and picking up the child throwing the pirate away with a hard kick.
___
Y/n sighs in relief when they are a good distance away from the pirates. She smiles at the child with watery eyes. 'What's your name?' 'Momo' 'Do you know where your parents are Momo? They are on this island right?' Momo nods 'Then let's go look for them' the boy smiles 'Thank you.'
___
They had been ambushed again by the pirates, Y/n was still running deftly through the trees, but fatigue was starting to get the best of her.
'Momoooo' They hear in the distance and Momo smiles from her place on Y/n's lap 'Dad!'
They weren't right next door, but they would still be able to catch up with them if they kept at it, but unfortunately Y/n makes a mistake and allows herself to relax for a second. At that moment a huge heat runs through her entire body and a deafening pain makes her fall to the ground. Tears stream down her face, there was no worse time to introduce herself even more so as an omega. Forcing a smile she lightly pushes Momo towards the voices calling him 'Momo, I can't anymore. If you run you can. Go' Hesitantly Momo starts to run and Y/n smiles as she loses sight of him just in time for the pirates to get to her.
The moment the pirates catch up to her the excited smell of the alphas hits her making her want to vomit 'Back off you idiots!' 'B-but Captain! It's an omega!' 'That's why! Do you know what she's worth? A Lunaria omega and unmarked, 100million seems little if you think of the price she must have on the black market.... Nobody touches it! None of you idiots have the willpower to mate with her and not mark her' Everyone sighs in disappointment except Y/n who sighs with a little relief.
___
'Momo!' Marco shouts when he sees the child emerge from among the bushes. Momo runs and throws himself at Oden crying wildly. Seeing that he has no wounds the whole crew smiles 'Let's go back'
Momo's eyes widen going into despair 'N-no!' Everyone looks shocked 'How not Momo?' 'They took me! And-and then she saved me b-but they took her!' 'She?' Momo nods and Oden sniffs Momo realizing the scent on him 'An omega' Oden laughs 'I don't think we can leave the one who saved my son behind, much less fail to teach a lesson to the one who messed with Whitebeard's pirates' Everyone laughs and agrees with Oden.
___
The pirates were quick to carry Y/n back to the ship, one of them had seen the flag of the Whitebeard Pirates and as such wanted to get off the island as quickly as possible.
Y/n cries, that damn rut hurt horrors and all those disgusting smells around him were only making everything hurt more. A loud bang from the top side of the ship brings her temporarily out of her daze. What was going on?
___
Those pirates were certainly cowards in the face of Whitebeard's name, knocking out a few more of them Marco makes his way to the hold in search of the omega that saved Momo. As soon as he opens the door he is overcome by a tremendously delicious smell that makes his entire alpha purr, rushing towards the smell he finds an omega with tan skin and white hair.
Marco breaks the bars with a strength he didn't know he had immediately taking the omega in his arms. Relaxing as he feels her purr against his chest he rushes back out of the basement shouting that he had found her.
___
She didn't know what it was, her mind was too foggy to clearly register anything, but shortly after that bang she was caught and enveloped in a comforting warmth and delicious smell. She couldn't stop herself from relaxing and snuggling further into the source of the warmth and smell that seemed to do wonders to soothe her pain.
___
When they finally return to the ship some betas try to remove Y/n from Marco, but are stopped by a loud growl from the younger alpha who pulls away pressing the omega more into his chest.
'Come on Marco she has to go to the infirmary' Izou argues, but it only seems to serve to intensify the alpha's growl.
Marco eventually failed to yield Y/n and had to be held so that she could be taken away, two or three ended up flying as they removed her from Marco's arms and she emitted a loud whine at the loss of contact causing him to struggle even more to retrieve the omega.
Some time after Y/n has been taken to the infirmary and her scent has started to fade Marco seems to calm down 'It's normal, the alpha instincts are still new to you and this is the first unmarked omega you've seen, even more so in heat it's hard to have control' Justified his companions.
Marco sighs, a huge headache seems to arise from all his struggle. He had really lost control with that omega, but according to the others they couldn't be mates since they were of different species, she was a Lunaria and he human. Even knowing this he couldn't ignore the way his inner alpha longed for her and protested that she was his.

Elvira's House of Mystery Special #1
After working through two very much kids' comics in a row, it's nice to be back with a story that's willing to have a bit of an edge to it. And House of Mystery has delivered for me before.
Elvira's Christmas Carol
To nobody's surprise this is yet another retelling of the three Ghosts scene of A Christmas Carol. Elvira learns the spirit of Christmas by getting taken around by Cain, Abel, and Destiny. In the end she resolves to celebrate Christmas by sending a giant bat to Cain and Abel.
Oh, What Fun to Laugh and Sing a Slaying Song Tonight!
This one troubled me. It does contain a Real Santa (as well as several fake Santas), but I could have done without the magical healing scene.
We once again have a crook robbing a Santa gathering donations, and then stealing his costume and heading off with the cash to rob other places. Onija Smith, our troublemaker here, apparently just broke out of Rikers Island 2 hours ago and is on the run. He breaks into a house and while stealing all the gold and silver is discovered by a little girl - who thinks he's Santa! She's blind and asked to get her sight back for Christmas. Smith tells the little girl he's doing a spell by gathering all the valuables, then escapes out the window as he tells her he needs to get something from the sleigh to make the magic work. However... REAL SANTA suddenly comes down the chimney!
Tumblr media
And cures her blindness. Yeah. That happened.
Santa's feeling old and tired as he gets back into his sleigh, and as he takes off...he runs over Onija Smith, killing him.
This is House of Mystery after all.
Oh Christmas Tree - this is by Barbara Randall so I'm going in with decent hopes.
A couple of social climbers (Faye and Steve) have just moved into a fancy new house and the wife wants the best Christmas Tree this year. They look at a bunch of options but Faye declares she wants a 'real wild tree' so they go chop one down in the forest (which was off limits for lumbering).
After a Christmas party of showing off the house, the couple go to bed and the tree comes to life, growing roots and through the walls to attack the couple and kill them in the house.
The tree's growth takes over the whole house, and is so huge it eventually gets cut down to be the Christmas Tree outside the White House.
'Twas the Night Before X-Mas...
The Night Before Christmas poem, about nuclear winter (this is a nice change, I haven't had many Night Before Christmases yet).
Some aliens stop by but find that the entire planet has been wiped out by the nuclear bombs.
However...their ship detects something moving and they worry it's a missile! (it's actually Santa)
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, Santa gets zapped by the aliens.
