My headcannons after life after marriage with the SDV bachelor/ettes:

Its kinda long, sorry and I also apologize for typos or if its incoherent. I'm no writer

Harvey:

You thoughy he worried avout your health BEFORE you got together, oh boy oh boy. He's alaays asking how you feel, bringing you snacks amd water while you work the farm. He cleans you up after the mines (while he lectures you about the dangers). He likes the domestic moments. The days it rains and you stay inside together with warm cups of coffee, snuggled up in the bed. Hes a classica kind of guy. He leaves roses on the table and brings you breakfast in bed. Since hes a doctor, you're both awake early. Every morning is filled with sleepy kisses and coffee. He never leaves the house without a kiss and a 'see you later'.

Shane:

This man is ANXIOUS. Hes a bundle of self doubt and insecurity. He spends his hours thinking how great you are and how itd a matter of time until you leave him. Reassure him, please. He absolutely loves every minute you're with him. Hes acrually a surprisingly good cook. He also is so good with kids. He definitely wants kids after seeing you with Jas. Hes not big on saying how he feels, but he's working on it. Instead he helps out here and there, feeding the chickens (he actually loves doing that), cleaning the house, cooking a meal when you get home late. Little touches when you're alone. His leg agaisnt yours, his hand gently in your hair while you sleep. He loves you more than anything (except the chickens. Knoe your place.)

Elliot:

He is down SO BAD. Carries a picture of the two of you everywhere. He shows you off whenever he has the chance. Hes just so proud of his sweetheart. He cooks well, but he hates cooking so you two agree to split the chores. You're his muse ans you best believe he makes it known. He leaves you poems; post-it notes on the mirror, on a napkin on the counter, written on the bavk of th grocery list, a torn out notebook page in your coat pocket. He loves when you do his hair. If you don't know how, he teaches you. On slow days on the farm, you leave the front door open for some air and you can hear him playing piano.

Alex:

His love language is tackling you (physical touch). You walk through the door and hes hugging you, kissing your cheeks, picking you up and taking you to bed. He can't cook, but he can bake. Evelyn taught him and he treasures the skill. For every anniversary, no matter how small, he makes a treat. He loves helping you around the farm because its an excuse to walk around shirtless and flex for you. He also has a weirdly green thumb. The crops wont sprout and the season is almost over? Send Alex to water them. The next moening you have a bounty like no other.

Sam:

He has ADHD so he does that peguin pebbling thing where he finds random objects and brings them to you because 'this reminded me of you.' He can't cook. For the love of yoba don't let him cook unless you want to remodel your kitchen. He still tries to be sweet though. Hes not a morning person, but when you wake up early he stumbled put of bed, hair messy, eyes closed and follows you like a sad puppy. Hes so clingy. Like SO clingy. Personal space. Gone. He talks to you through the bathroom door, holds you while you sleep, wants to be next to you all the time. He also loves your animals, especially the chickens. He has one favorite, but he won't say it (he might hurt the others feelings). Sometimes you come back from town and hes sitting outside on the porch talking to the chickens, who look strangely invested.

Sebastian:

He loves you so much, but he hates that everyone KNOWS he loves you. You gush about the sweet things he does to your friends and he goes bright red in the ears. The townsfolk ask about you so he tries to avoid having to talk to them. When you're alone though, he's the total opposite. Hes quiet, sure, but he does whatever he can to help you out. A kiss on your cheek before he goes to water the crops for you. Makes you a cup of coffee after work. When he was little, robin taught him how to carve and widdle. He makes you cute wooden figures, usually modeled after your animals. He takes you to the city for weekend date nights. He asks you to go on rides just to feel your arms around him.

Leah:

She treats you like the most beautiful painting shes ever layed her eyes on. When you're sitting with her on the beach, she'll paint dancing swirls up your arms to your hands. (Maybe you get it tattooed one day and she cries). All the paintings in your house are made by her. Much like Elliott, youre her muse. She makes you sit so she can paint you or practice sketching. But she can never get enough of you. When you lay together, she meticulously traces the shapes of your body. Your hands, your nose, your hips. Everything about you is perfect to her.

Emily:

She's a free, creative person. She wakes you up late at night to look at the stars and dance by the river. Shes been making a quilt out of scrap fabric for your bed. She tries to tesch you how to sew it so you cam be a part of it. She helps you with the crops and picks fresh vegetables when theh grow so she can make you beautiful dinners. She loves to cook for you because you always have something good to say about it. She could be on food network, you swear it. Every day when she gets ready, right after putting on her lipstick, she kisses your cheek to leave a little mark. You leave it there while you do your chores.

Penny:

Penny is naturally an early bird. She wakes up each morning with you. You two share a few minutes of quiet before stsrting coffee. You take turns making breakfast. Penny is so used to keeping the house up by herself after living with Pam, so being with you is a breath of fresh air. But she still likes to help you out. So before going to teach the kids, she helps out in the garden. You pass by in town while shes walking the kids home. You join them on their walk and Jas starts asking you for that princess story again. As you tell it, you see Penny's cheeks go pink. Its only the story of how you met. But to you it felt like a fairy tale. You walk home with your wife every day, sharing stories of your day while settling down on the porch.

Abigail:

Shes high energy. She heard about it, she wants to try it. Take her to the city to a nigt club and she'll dance circles with you all night. She makes you matching bracelets and you never dare to take it off. When you go down to the mines, she wants to come with. She doesn't fear them, but that scares you. You have to convince her to stay with the farm every time. But you always bring her a beautiful gemstone back. You think the amythest brings out her eyes. Shes a decent cook, actually. Contrary to what Sam and Sebastion may say. Her recipes are odd, but somehow, they always work out. Shes not a morning person, she won't get up even if you shake her. But somehow she knows if you forget to give her a kiss on your way out the door.

Haley:

She takes a million pictures of you. She loves to. You hide your face, she tells you how much she likes your smile. You're working on the farm and hear the shutter click. She likes the ways your arms look when you roll up your sleeves. After a long day in town, you bring her flowers. Shes always waiting up for you. She likes to slow dance in the living room and hear about your adventures from the day. She tells Alex about how great you are. Everytime you walk by and catch her off gaurd, she fixes her hair so she 'looks nice'. You just kiss her and tell her she looks nice all the time.

Maru:

She loves to help you out on thr farm. Just not... conventionally. She is her father's daughter, so shes always making you new inventions to make the farm run smoother. Better fertilizer, fresh feed thst produces better eggs, though she was banned from tending the animald after one of her feeds turned your chickens eggs bright pink. She loves to walk around town with you, always with your hand in hers. She's not a cook, but she still tries to learn from you. Shes learning, but she mostly just likes getting to be near you while you cook.

Honestly I have no hope. I'm thinking its gonna bomb like the Ruin DLC did, lore wise. Calling it now there's gonna be a character named VANESSA and her nickname is VANNY even though this movie is about the first game and has NOTHING TO DO WITH VANESSA. There's gonna be a kid named Cassidy, another kid named Gregory, circus baby is gonna come out of nowhere, there's gonna be a nightmare animatronic reference, one kid is gonna look like the crying child for no reason, Springtrap is gonna talk a lot and take away the horror- its gonna be a mess. The lore will be a terrible. mess.

Horror wise it might be awesome but I am NOT looking forward to all the crap they're gonna mix in with the lore. Its soooo simple, just make a spooky movie that captures the terror that the first game created. Recreate the mystery and horror. Bonnie disappearing, Foxy running down the hall. Freddy's music. Maybe Golden Freddy?? Hints of a darker past with dead kids. It would be awesome. They don't gotta complicate the lore by adding all the other games into it but I know they will-

Monty is much more mellow and kind in the Partial swap. Although he still can be a bit of a grump sometimes. The way Bonnie is treating everyone (mostly Foxy) really angers/upsets him.

Roxy hasn't changed a whole lot tbh. Full of grief and self loathing. Except I don't think she'd have this "I'm better than you" attitude. Her thinking that Freddy's death was her fault would crush her. Just like Monty was crushed in the OG au.

I was thinking he would do 1 of 2 things.

Either this bombshell that his late friends of 10 years are alive, would be so emotionally overwhelming that he would completely shut down. Literally. They would break into his room and Bonnie is collapsed on the floor. And cannot be reactivated. And when he does eventually reactivate, he absolutely refuses to acknowledge or speak to anyone in anyway..

OR, hearing that Chica and Freddy are alive, would completely drown out any other feeling. They're alive, he would rush out of his room to go see them. All of his stress, all of his anger would be swept away in favor of his anxiousness to see his friends again. And finally, he would talk to people again somewhat. Every day would get easier knowing that once its over he can go see Freddy and Chica again.

I haven't decided which one is better <XD

I honestly hate how the fandom treats Michael as a hero and I'm seeing posts about it so I feel a liiiittle better talkign about it

my moots are holding back, i can tell. but hes my favorite so im not. and im a little pissed writing this bc. bc i relate to cc a lot. and seeing ppl mischaracterize not only my favorite character but also someone who reminds me of people who fucking suck drives me INSANE.

so psa, im pissed as fuck and i love michael afton.

First off, he killed Evan. That's obvious. Not only was that literall 100% his fault (NOT WILLIAMS IT PISSES ME OFF WHEN PPL MAKE THAT ALL ABOUT WILLIAM SHUT THE FUVCK UP

he was a bully. yeah he was a kid. yeah he was messing with him. Have you considered he was literally. abusive to his brother. i know the fnaf fandom is scared of using that word to describe him but its fucking true. he was abusive. as fuck. that was awful what he did he wasnt just a bully he harassed him and literally locked him in his room. he was fucking horrible.

and yeah, he didnt mean for that to happen, but not only was that stupid as fuck, i hate any interpritation of "he wanted to be like his dad" "his friends coerced him" PLAY FNAF 4. PLAY FNAF 4. FUCKING PLAY FNAF 4 LOOK AT HIS DIALOGUE AND WHAT HE DOES

I did see that you're getting a bit tired of TADC asks, so feel free to put this on the back burner or ignore it entirely. That said, the TADC cast w/ a reader who has anger issues. (The reader isn't mean or a jerk, they just have emotions that are difficult to control so they can be prone to lashing out.)

TADC cast x reader who has anger issues!

uuhuhuh! this post is mostly just a lot of the characters and the reader communicating and all that because we love a thriving relationship in this house!! so apologies if some of the segments come off as.... repeating.. written as neither romantic or platonic, up to you really

CAINE:

very good at taking you away from the situation thats making you angry; i mean the dude can teleport, so getting you away from somewhere is not an issue for him... however, if you would rather he make up some excuse so its less.. embarrassing..? (this goes for other instances of intense emotion/overstimulation! bro is a king!) he will make up a scenario where youre needed elsewhere so it naturally look like you.... have to be needed... you know? basically a "mom can you say no to this so i can say you said no because i dont want to do this social thing with someone?" energy. or maybe im weird... probably defends himself if you lash out at him, but he wont lash out back. just pushing that hes not the reason youre upset (of course if this is a scenario where hes innocent) he cares about you a lot and he doesnt like seeing you this way, so its likely that hes going to power through it and help you calm down and find a solution... though if you need alone time, youre going to have to tell him as he might not be able to pick up on your body language and hints

POMNI:

probably a little intimated when you get heated about something. should stress that shes not scared of you but you can get a little intense. tries to make a list of things to help you with regulating your emotions... though given that pomni seems to be more of an anxious person rather than an angry on, some of her stuff may not work... maybe? breathing exercises definitely work, as well as detaching yourself from the scene... actually, i think pomni might be pretty solid with calming you down. as for lashing out, i dont think she would be able to stop herself from getting at least a little bit offended, especially if shes just trying to help. please be sure to apologize to her and make it up to her, lashing out at innocent parties isnt okay. hell, lashing out at guilty parties isnt okay too sometimes (this is more of a case by case thing, obviously)

RAGATHA:

very patient but i dont think she would stand for you lashing out at her when shes trying to help. very careful about not pissing you off and stresses communication between the two of you and is able to read when you need some alone time. to the lashing out thing, if you (verbally) attack her for no reason its definitely going to hurt but she knows better than to respond with anger... maybe... really depends on how shes doing and what you said. will either anger you further or make you see youre kind of being an ass to an innocent party, you know?

thinks... pretty good if you need someone to rant or vent to, very open and always offers an ear to you. tries to come up with solutions so you can avoid situations where you become angry, as well as coming up with stress relieving activities to calm you down. 10/10 love ragatha

JAX:

honestly between all the characters hes going to be the one whos going to be pushing your buttons the most. sure he cares about you, but youre not totally immune to his bullshit, you know? like yeah hes less annoying when it comes to you, but he still acts like a douchebag most of the time and pranks you every now and then. i think thats an issue for another post, though, soooooo.... so basically you getting irritated and eventually totally pissed off with jax isnt that rare of an occurrence and since jax isnt the most emotionally mature hes probably going to make a joke of it until he kind of. realizes hes actually causing issues. then he finally drops it and leaves you be. smart enough to know that you need some time to cool off, will at least make an attempt to apologize or make it up to you. probably the worst out of the bunch to have as a partner since he hardly takes shit seriously or with care... this is all coming from someone who enjoys jax, buuuuuuuuuut yk?

KINGER:

honestly the king of comfort, and i think this still applies to non-sadness/anxiety emotions. would be taken aback when you lash out at him? yes, but he will try not to be offended. bros mind is clear when he notices youre so much as slightly upset and hes working on trying to find a solution. takes you to his pillow fort. i dont think he would ask for an apology if you lash out at him unless you say something truly horrible; feels as though you were vulnerable and werent in the right frame of mind... honestly really understanding about it because he cares about you a lot, you know? not much else to be said; tries to dethatch you from the thing thats setting you off, tries to calm you down, and takes verbal lashings with grace.. though i do think some of his patience may chip if its a constant thing. but i think thats a side thing because anyones patience and understanding can only go so far, and ultimately this is an issue the reader themselves is going to have to work on

ZOOBLE:

the most likely to argue back with you if you needlessly lash out at them. zooble takes no bullshit, and if theyre trying to help you and you get onto them for trying to be a good partner/friend then they arent going to be nice about it. like i think they would say some stuff back, before sulking off. this one is definitely going to need to take a lot of time. its not so much that zooble does bad with conflict in the case of "they shut down" its more a "they can possibly instigate it due to them getting caught in their own emotions" soooooo.... you BOTH are going to need to talk about this and smooth it over if you want the relationship to last. communication and shit is key, guys. obviously this can get very heated and drawn out if zooble was innocent and just trying to help, even more so than if zooble was actually the problem. because in that case, then zooble can understand that they did something wrong and at least deserved it a little... but if they actually did nothing and were just trying to help you? no, thats not going to slide with them...

GANGLE:

okay now gangle is the "freezes up and perhaps even flees" when there is conflict, so if you lash out at her shes probably going to get really upset (like sad and feel guilty) even if she knows that she has done nothing wrong and youre upset at something else. not so much as she SUCKS at offering a distraction or means of calming you down, but she.... isnt the best at calming down a really ticked off person.... might just wait for you to cool down... if you said something mean to her please remember to apologize because knowing gangle, shes not going to ask for one out of fear that she might be pushing, or she might outright believe she doesnt deserve one. though i think that might be self projection WHOOPSIE

wrote up this whole thing on twitter, may as well post it here too for those interested haha, apologies for how disjointed this will read since it’s all just multiple random posts i made throughout the day

i feel like a lot of fics have stede just not care that ed threw away all of his trinkets and books, which like, yeah, in the grand scheme of things, material things are less important than the people you love, but if said things were your main source of comfort for the majority of your life, especially when you felt unloved, it's definitely gonna hurt to lose them...!!! its okay for things to hold a lot of sentimental value and to mourn them if they're destroyed or lost...!! also like, when they make stede say "it's okay, i can just buy them again" like no!!! you probably can't!! books are one of those things that go out of print, and a lover of books will want to collect rare things!! and they'll be 100000% more rare in the 1700s lmao

i now have a hc where stede has more secret compartments in his room where's he's stored his more valuable books that he didnt want to risk getting damaged from falling off the shelves during turbulent waters.... when he returns to the revenge & sees the state of his room, he's desperate to check the hiding spots for his treasures, but also feels terribly guilty that he's even thinking of them considering the state ed is in... he refrains from checking until he can be alone in his cabin i also fully believe he still has books from his childhood, like the few he managed to keep safe from the destructive hands of his bullies and his own father... THINKING MORE ON THIS and ANGST ANGST ANGST i think stede would be unable to stop himself from restarting old habits where he'd start secreting away his really precious things and NOT sharing them with ed, and he wouldnt rly understand what he was doing but he'd still be plagued with an undercurrent of guilt that he was putting off on sharing these things with ed even though theyre genuinely an important part of his life....

Proshipper: Pro is a prefix, not short gor problematic. That's wordplay.Someone who is for shipping, regardless of ship; anti-anti. Hi! I'd like to ask some questions about AsPD, as someone whose knowledge about it is limited to tumblr blogs, internet searches, and the DSM-5 criteria for it. The questions may come across as ignorant, but I do really want to understand it more and get educated ^^;

1. Your previous post about AsPD mentioned how a lot of people with AsPD experience guilt/remorse. Is this remorse the same as other people or different? Is it like, "I feel bad that my actions hurt somebody."?

2. I don't know how else to word this, but what kinds of emotions do you (and others with AsPD) experience...? Because there's posts saying that anger is possible, but they don't really mention happiness. Maybe I'm confusing the empathy part and emotions part together.

3. AsPD is about self-preservation, from my understanding, and I see different people talk about how they see others as property they have to take care of, or something that benefits them. So, I'm curious how "real" connections start to form between a regular person and someone with AsPD. How does a father with AsPD take care of his daughter, like what does he think and feel about it? Or how do you recognize that you're falling in love/fell in love?

I apologize again if these end up coming across as ignorant. Thank you again!

Hey thanks for the ask, I've been very preoccupied with other stuff so my bad for not getting around to this until now. Also never apologize for wanting to learn, there's absolutely no shame in ignorance of theres the intention of learning alongside it.

To answer your questions, (under the cut cuz its long):

1. Remorse/guilt in ASPD is another complex part of the disorder. Only 49% of people with ASPD do have remorse, and their experiences with will be completely dependent on the individual person. Most commonly, they will have their own type of remorse thats different than the non-antisocial remorse. It may be more associated with shame of getting caught, a fear of losing something that they value, or not wanting to be seen as a bad person, rather than genuinely feeling bad for causing others harm. Its most likely to stem from self-preservation and selfish desires rather than caring for the other person. But there is a possibility that someone with ASPD can experience genuine, prosocial, caring remorse and guilt for the harm they cause if the other criteria is met regardless of the presence of their guilt. There is a quote I like that goes "My guilt does not purify me". Antisocial behaviour is still antisocial behaviour even if you feel guilty about it.

To put it into perspective, I don't experience the 'normal' type of remorse for my actions. I rarely ever truly feel bad, or care. I feel bad for my friends if someone else hurt them, or if they're having a bad day because of something outside if my control, I'll care because I'm protective. But if they get hurt over something I did, no matter how close we are, I wont feel any remorse. I will only feel upset that they were being sensitive, or didn't see it from my side, or took things too seriously. Most of the time I will try to diffuse the situation and get things back to normal, but I absolutely hate apologizing for things I'm not actually sorry for so I either lie or beat around the bush.

2. Someone with ASPD can feel all the emotions someone without it can. It's a very common misunderstanding that we are cold, emotionless robots, because this stems from the Hollywood Psychopath trope. It is a common experience for people with ASPD, especially more extreme presentations, to not be able to understand the emotions they feel, and they do not feel comfortable with letting themselves feel things, or express it, which may come across as them not having any feelings. They may have been raised in an unstable environment where showing emotion was punishable or seen as weak. But some people with ASPD are completely capable of expressing, feeling, and understanding their emotions, especially further down the line in recovery.

Anger is a very common feeling that people with ASPD experience. The presence of this anger is seen in the DSM-5 criterion of "irritability and aggressiveness". But we are also able to feel happiness and sadness. A lot of the time, the emotions will be connected with the reward system in the brain, such as being happy that they got what they wanted, or disappointed that they wasted their time or things didn't go their way. ASPD has a lot of selfishness connected with it, as seen in the lack of care for others, "me vs the world" mindsets, and disregard for norms and boundaries. But we are still people, and a good amount of people with ASPD are able to just feel happy, sad, etc as any other person.

Empathy is the ability to feel for someone else, especially in terms of feeling sad/caring/bothered if someone else is sad. Lacking empathy is not a criteria for ASPD, but a lot of people with ASPD do lack empathy. There is also a common misconception that people with ASPD don't feel fear, which isn't true at all. Instead, they might act like they aren't scared to maintain an image of being untouchable, or their recklessness might get in the way of their ability to care if something is dangerous.

For me personally, I feel a very wide range of emotions from happiness, excitement, sadness, fear, worry, anger, disappointment, etc. Mostly, though, I am in a pretty neutral state and I try not to let myself feel my negative emotions for very long. I don't like to dwell on things as it feels like that gives it power over me, so I try to brush things off quickly if they make me upset in any way. If something is important to me though, I don't mind letting my feelings towards it stick around, because I view it as me still being in control, because I have the right to be upset. It's a bit nonsensical and doesn't really have the best logical behind it, but thats my experience with my emotions personally. It's different for everyone.

3. This is another one of those things where it completely depends on the person. ASPD is a social disorder, so interpersonal relationships are bound to have a strain on them. A lot of people with ASPD struggle to keep people around because people struggle to keep up with their antisocial behaviours. Having social dominance and respect is an important thing for a lot of people with ASPD if they want to have a foundation to build relationships on. They may need to feel like they're in control, or take a lot of time to develop trust with people enough to feel like they don't have to burn the bridge at the slightest hint of disrespect. For a parent with ASPD, they may view their child as an extension of themselves, or something to control and have power over, or something they need to protect, like a prized possession.

For me personally, I'm huge on respect and loyalty. If someone shows me they can give me a space where I don't have to feel like I have something to prove, or that I can let my guard down a bit, then I'll let myself form a friendship with them. I need some sort of leverage on a person before I can really let myself be friends with them though, so that if they fuck me over in any way then I'll be able to flip the power dynamic and settle the score. But I value what my friends offer me, which gives me room to value them as people instead of just viewing them as some TV character or tool to benefit me, and I am very loyal and protective towards my good friends.

I have had many relationships and friendships in the past that were entirely just for my own personal entertainment. I never understood why people would stay friends with someone who inconvenienced them in any way. For me, the moment someone stopped giving me what I wanted, or if there was the slightest hint of disrespect, I would burn that bridge and it would usually end very messily. (I have spent the past months working hard to overcome the mindset of viewing people on a scale of if they're worth my time or not, because I think its our job as human beings to love each other without stopping to wonder if they're worth it.)

My girlfriend on the otherhand though is my "exception person", my prized possession but humanized in my mind. She is the most important person in my life, and I care for her in ways I'm not able to with anyone else, not even myself. I let her into my life because she was the one person who never judged me, or treated me like a bad person or a problem. She always offered me a space to make mistakes, and still gave me support regardless, and was always there for me to lean back on. I realized I loved her because whenever our relationship got rocky and we broke up, it hurt. I've always been the type to cut someone off for the smallest thing without batting an eye, but I was stubborn with my girlfriend and desperately did not want to lose her. I used to write her letters and shit trying to express my feelings that I never sent her 💀.

She's the only person I really listen to because she's proven to me time and time again that I can trust her judgment. Over the four years we've been together, she has proven to me that she is dependable, loyal, and that she has my back no matter what. That is a type of person I cherish and care to keep around. All of the people in my life that I value are ones that have proven to me they're worth my time and effort and that I can count on them to be loyal ride or dies.

Hope this answered your questions there and cleared some things up :] It's important to remember how complex ASPD is and how different it can present in different people. One persons experience wont apply to every single person with ASPD, and even with common experiences there are outliers to acknowledge as well

Absolutely! I did have to do some research on Yule since I never actually heard about it, so I apologize in ahead if I did get things messed up. It was so fun to learn about the holiday!

Slight Simon “Ghost” Riley x reader.

You rub your hands together as you stare at a log. An plain simple oak log, the members stare at you, thinking your crazy for a log. You grab it smile, December twenty one, perfect day to get the log.

“You okay there y/n?” Price says looking at you with the log in your arms. “You do know we can’t take stuff from our missions.”

“Oh uh.. can we please take this log?” You say softly and hold it closer to your body. “Please, I won’t ask for anything next year!”

“Just let the Bonnie take her log.” Soap says elbowing Price who sighs and then summits. “Atta! We got you a log Y/n!”

“Sweet!” You say with a smile, the helicopter landing near you. “Ah let’s go guys”

You hop into the helicopter, getting a weird stare from the driver. You give them an awkward smile as you sit down and hold the oak log close to you. A symbol to your holiday, Gaz and Soap sit next to you as Price and Ghost sit across from the three of you.

“So the log!” Soap yells over the sound of the helicopter. “What’s it for!”

You act as if you can’t hear the man. You stare at the log, happy and smiling. It was a good log that you picked. Ghost and stares at you with price, a slight worrisome feeling that Price can’t push away.

Your in the air and look to your right. Seeing Gaz staring at the log, a very daring look. You cough getting his mind and eyes on you.

“..Don’t even think about it.” You mumble holding the log closer to your body. “I know what you were thinking.”

“I wasn’t gonna throw it out the door..” Gaz mumbles with a sigh. “Okay maybe I was.”

You shake your head, tossing back a laughter. Price stares at you and the log, seeing you so happy with a log got him really worried. Have you gone insane with all the missions the past few days?

You land at the base, laswell awaiting the group arrival. She has a Christmas sweater on and thick Santa hats for everyone.

“Price! Gaz! soap! ghost!” Laswell says walking over with a smile. “And Y/n with a lo— wait why does she have a log?”

“Let her be..she’s happy with that log for some reason.” Price says with a sigh and grabs a Santa hat. “What’s this for?”

“Since you all be out heading home for Christmas I thought we could have our small party.” laswell says handing the others a Santa hat. “Here, I can give the log one.”

“Oh uh.. I don’t.. do Christmas” you say with an awkward smile. “I better go..”

You rush away quickly with the log in your arms. Dropping the Santa hat in the process, Ghost stares at the hat then at you. Finding it curious that you also don’t like Christmas. Laswell stares at the man and sighs.

“How’s she holding up?” Laswell asks the men who stand there in confusion. “Hello!”

“Oh uh..she’s been great on missions.” Price says putting the Santa hat on. “Wont talk much about her family or.. anything personal.”

“She’s a good help in the field..” Gaz mumbles still looking at the reaction you ran off to. “She’s staying at the base for Christmas with Soap and Ghost.”

“That must be nice! You three can celebrate Christmas!” Laswell says with a smile as soap looks at Ghost. “..Or not?”

“Not a fan of it..” Ghost mumbles handing the Santa hat back to her. “I don’t know about soap.”

“I might, but I don’t know.. I rather relax.” Soap says stretching and looks at Gaz and Price. “You two better get going, the last plane to your home towns leaves in an hour.”

“..About that..” Gaz says with a chuckle. “I don’t really have anyone to be with for Christmas. My ma is out of town and I don’t wanna travel.”

“Guess we are all staying?” Price says making the others look at him. “What? I wanna know what’s up with y/n and that damn log. She’s holding it like a baby.”

“We better go check on her..” Laswell says rubbing her chin. “She did request some weird stuff when I called her a few days back.”

“Like what?” Soap says grabbing his bag off the floor.

“Pine cones, Dried cranberries, Cuttings of a mistletoe.. holly, pine needles, and ivy..” Laswell says counting the things off her finger. “Oh! and some feathers and cinnamon sticks..ah what else.. oh right a hot glue gun and a lace red ribbon.”

“The hell would she need that for?” Gaz says confused. “Is it something we should be worried about?”

“Well it’s just plants ain’t it?” Price says starting to walk ahead the direction you ran off to. “Don’t think we should.”

You happily start decorating the oak log. Using every drop of the hot glue gun, placing and marking the right spots you want everything. You will hear the others come in and play their stuff down. Soap will immediately point out what you’re doing to Price. Which immediately concerns him.

“Y/n what are you doing there?” Prive says walking over with Gaz not far behind. “Okay, uh.. that’s a pretty log?..”

“…mhm..” You hum softly paying no attention to him. “..Can you pass me that pine needle?”

Gaz reaches over and passes it to you. Seeing how pretty the log is he sits down next to you and watches. The soap and Ghost confuse look over to see Price and Gaz watching you decorate the log. The two man also walk over and watch you, soap slightly surprised you haven’t burned your hand yet.

“..so the log..what is it for..?” Soap asks again getting your attention. “Well?”

“Its for Yule..” You mumble slightly embarrassed. “It’s a holiday I celebrate, since Christmas isn’t my thing.”

“Yule?” They all say in unison causing you to laugh.

“It’s uh.. a holiday somewhat similar to Christmas..” You say looking back at the log. “..well not really.. it’s when.. um people..welcome back the sun, after long dark days..”

“Hold on what?” Gaz says looking at you. “Welcome back the sun?”

“..Well uh Yule was a festival long ago. For Vikings, Germanic tribes and people in the pre-Christian Eroupe. “You says holding a feather in your hand. “..most days it’s just now celebrated by Wiccans and other Neo-pagan practitioners.” You pause for a moment and place the feather down on the log. “Yule gives.. people a way to expand our four inner realms and to come forth.”

The members remain silent as you continue on explaining the Yule. Gaz hands you what you need while you talk. Ghost leans against the wall and watches you, while soap sits on the other side of you, slightly leaning his head on your shoulder. Price sits sits down on your floor and watches you.

“Like I said before.. uh Pagan and Wiccan families are the most common to celebrate it.” You say softly looking at the finished log. “It celebrates the return of sun.. they sometimes add a lot of lights in their home.” You pause again and unplug the hot glue gun with Price help. “It originated in Norway.. they used to think the sun was this giant wheel that rolled away from the world..”

“That’s.. interesting how come.. you celebrate it?” Price says rubbing his chin. “Did someone introduce you to it?”

“Yes.. a close friend before I moved away to join the military.” You say looking up at him. “It’s a fun holiday..”

“So you just decorate oak logs?” Soap says looking at the log. “That’s it?”

“There is so much more to do.. and you don’t really have to decorate oak logs.” You say looking at him. “I picked to.. since when I burn it I know it will represent.. Wisdom and strength..”

“Oh so each type of wood has its own meaning?” Gaz asks slightly understanding. “What do the others mean?”

“Well.. families usually burn Pine since they hope for a good year of prosperity..” You say softly looking at the log in front of you. “Couples.. will drag a bough of birch to their hearth. If they wish fertility the upcoming year.”

“..And I’m guessing you only decorate a Pine and oak log before?” Price says looking at your now sadden eyes. “..Or..”

“None.. actually.. an accident happened before we could even.. start it.” You say getting up from the floor. “..this is my first year alone..”

“Why don’t we celebrate with you?” Gaz says getting up and helping soap get up. “We aren’t leaving for the holiday and hell this seems nice.”

“Really?” You say looking at them. “You guys will actually do this with me?”

“Sure why not!” Soap says with a smile. “What else do you do in this Yule holiday.”

“..I mean I was going to out and get some food and return to the base and eat.” You say with a soft laugh. “Like a feast..”

“Does the feast have to be something specific?” Ghost says making you remember he’s been there the whole time.

“No.. it can be anything really, your favorite things. Just plain food..” You respond looking at him now. “I don’t know how to cook so I just planning to get some chips and soda.”

“Why don’t we al go out to eat!” Soap says with a smile. “Like a family, Y/n you pick the restaurant and we will come along.”

“That will have to be on the twenty fourth.” You say softly. “I just wanted Sri get the log done while I declutter some stuff around my space.”

“Oh so you clean out things you don’t need too?” Gaz says slightly confused. “This is an interesting holiday.”

“Mhm..” you mumble slightly embarrassed.

“Then what are we waiting for.” Price says clapping his hands. “Let’s get this place clean up.”

“Do we have to decorate?” Soap asks you making you look up form the log once more. “Besides the log.”

“I mean we could just put candles or some fake plants around..” You say with a smile. “It doesn’t really matter, it just matters that we all just.. feel happy and comfortable.”

They all nod to your words ans head to their own spot. Starting to clean the room you all share with, made you slight happy. Seeing how strangers you started working with couple months ago now want to celebrate Yule.

December twenty four came by fast. You were laying down in bed reading your book. Enjoying the silence until Soap bursted into the room with Gaz with excitement. You jump out of your bed and stare at the two of them, Ghost and price behind them. You see them holding food on their hands.

“I thought we were going out to eat?” You say walking over to them. “Ah wait I forgot holiday..”

“Mhm, we went ahead and ordered some Chinese food. We got you broccoli with chicken.” Price says setting the food down on a table. “Are you alright with that?”

“It’s perfectly fine!” You say with a smile and look at Soap. “You two are excited.”

“I read more about the holiday you mentioned and I can’t stop thinking about it.” Soap says with a bright smile. “I like it more than Christmas now! It has more meaning than giving shit to people.”

“Can we just.. eat Im starving.” Ghost says grabbing plate. “Which one is mine?”

“Any of them really, I order randomly.” Price days with a smile. “I do know I ordered broccoli with chicken.”

“..Why don’t we all just share the food? Can’t hurt us to try new things.” Gaz says looking at the food. “God that smells so fucking good.”

“Damn right it does..” Price says handing everyone a fork. “I didn’t think we would be sharing so uh.. enjoy?”

You give them a smile and nod. Grabbing some orange chicken and stuffing it in your mouth. You were too busy eating with soap to realize Ghost has taken his mask off. Price went to lock the door incase anyone tried to get in. Eating with the men was a new thing you never thought that would happen. Ghost stares at for a slight moment, slightly happy you aren’t mentioning him without his mask.

After a couple hours of just relaxing and playing card games against them you looked at the time. There you saw it twelve am. You quickly got up form your chair, almost falling down in the process and rushed to get something under your bed.

“What are you doing! We are in a middle of a game.” Gaz says looking over at with ghost. “Y/n!”

“I need you guys to write something you wish for!” You say running over slipping and landing in Ghost arms. “Write! Fast! Don’t tell anyone what you write!”

You tear small pieces of paper and hand them out to the men. Ghost still has you in your arms and stares at you. Slightly smiling under his mask seeing you so focus on the holiday. You finally notice your in his arms and move away. You hand him a paper and and the others start writing.

“When your done roll it up and grab a coat!” You say scribbling something on your paper.

You finish up and rush to the log, gently grabbing it and rushing out the room. The men hurry after you in slight confusion, all grabbing a coat expect you. They see you look around and place the log down.

“Oh! Are we doing what I think were doing?” Soap says coming up from behind you. “We are!”

“Mhm!” You say quickly grabbing the papers out their hands. “Someone have some sort of lighter?”

“I do..” Price say taking it out his pocket. “For what?”

“To burn the log, it’s the final thing to do..” You say with a smile. “Give me!”

Price hands it to you, slightly concerned as you crouch down to the log. You flick the handle of the lighter and hold it up to the log, which immediately burst into flames. Ghost quickly grabs you away from it and and stares at you.

“Careful..” He mumbles letting go of you and letting you approach the fire again with the papers. “What are you doing?”

“Hopping.. the year will become great.” You say dropping the papers in the fire and backing up. “You all do the same.”

“God, the log is really burning.” Price says looking at you and the log. “..Y/n.. you really love this holiday don’t you?”

“..Mhm.. puts my mind at ease..finally being able to let them go.” You mumble taking your necklace off and placing it in the fire. “Like they would wanted..”

The others remain in silence as they see your paper drop in the fire. They see the writing, their hearts sink down to their stomachs.

“..To live another year without..you..my family..”

Ghost pulls you between him and the men. All of you huddled up, watching the log burn, your necklace and paper burning too.

“Happy Yule..” Soap mumbles for the group putting his arms around them.

“Happy Yule..” You respond looking at your burning necklace and then at your new found family.

Reader is a individual that demands respect opon first sight and will not hesitate to show it, but outside of their personal workplace they are actually really humorous and a trustworthy companion that’s more than willing to take a bullet for people they trust, come to think of them they are surprisingly rebellious whenever the sages want their way, insisting in treating a situation as any other regardless of ones status, its really entertaining seeing how Reader puts the sages in their plase with no hesitation.

As for the shipping part of the fandom surprisingly at first Cynder (the ship name between Cyno and reader) was considerd as a rare pair being overshadowed by Cynary and Cynolu. But when voicelines, canon interactions, ect were leaked, the shippers whent WILD. Withing some days the Cynder tag was THRIVING, fanart, fanfiction, canon content👏you👏name👏IT. Yes there are some toxic shippers ESPECIALLY on tik tok were saying that Cynder doesn't work cuz "it ruins their fav ship"🙄 some even claimed it was a "proship" 😃, but honey ignore them, they don't know whats good.Jokes on everyone cuz in later events it was extremely hinted that it was canon also lets not forget about the study dates that he takes you on <3

Reader? OOoooh, you mean my roommate, right? I really enjoy their company, quiet iet so energetic and loud, I dont really know how to explain it but on one second you can see them running errands for the rest of the students with a smile on their face and on the other they are speed running their forgotten homework for next class, they really have to start to manage their tasks and start getting their life together.

You and Layla are roommates and most of the time you make sure and by make sure I mean forse Layla to go to sleep earlier and make food for the both of you, and whenever you accidentaly fall asleep she makes sure to do some of your work so you wont burn yourself out, and yes some times you two blast music and sing in your shared dorm just cuz you guys had too much energy one night, the next morning both of you regretted it instantly.

What the fandom thinks/though:

The first thing that came into the fandoms mind is that Layer( the ship name between Layla and reader) is that the both of you fit the sun-moon trope (Layla- moon, reader-sun) and stuck with it, refusing to change its mind. And most people just accepted it, though its not really popular its not considered a rare pair either is just in the midle, and it has enough content to satisfy the Layer shippers^^, Also not to mention the unholy amount of hurt/comfors fanfics there are👀, as canon goes theres a good amount of scenes with Layla from your hangout to support the ship as "hinted as canon" by mihoyo.

Scaramouche - General Dating hcs

This is a repost from my old acc, this is the only post I ever made in that acc hehe. Kinda lost motivation back then.

Planning to make more of general dating hcs with diff characs, suggest who I should do!

Also, this was made back when sumeru wasnt released yet so it might be out of date

Dealing with Scara isnt always easy, he has trouble expression his emotions and feelings. Affection is something he really struggles with especially during the early days of your relationship. Slowly but surely he starts getting comfortable with you

He isnt going to show affection, in public or in private. It's not that he doesnt want to, he just doesn't know how to initiate it. So if you want affection, you'll have to be the one to initiate.

Once you do initiate affection, he will deny it. But deep inside he really really wants to cuddle, his ego just wont let him. If you insist, soon he'll cave in

Speaking of which, if hes in a bad mood, he never denies affection. Unless hes in a super bad mood, if he denies affection then. Dont insist. He might lash out on you.

If he does lash out on you, it'll take him a while to cool down, maybe the next day. By the time he realizes what hes done, it'll already be a few hours later. Scaramouche will probably overthink it, in his mind, you've already left him for someone better, for someone who actually deserves you.

He desperately wants to apologize but it took him a while. He still thinks you're mad at him. When he does apologize, expect it to be short but he definitely means every word he says. His apologies always ends with an "I love you".

It's a different story if you cry. If you cry because of him, he will feel like absolute crap. He will do anything, and I mean anything to make you stop crying or to forgive him. You'll definately recieve a ridiculous amount of jewelry, clothes and anything else that will make you happy.

Speaking of gifts, he will not be giving you expensive or fancy anniversary gifts, especially on your first. He will make something, handmade or custom made for you. Maybe a bracelet or necklace with something important as its center piece.

His personality when you first interact with him is significantly different from how he is in a relationship. He doesnt act any different, just now you know what he actually means when he says something.

His confession would be hasty, and made during a life or death situation, while on a mission. Either that or he just randomly told you one day he liked you.

Early dating stage is going to be the most difficult part in your relationship. Because Scaramouche is an absolute bitch about everything.

Jealous!Scara would be hell. He might act like he isnt jealous but he is. It hurts him so badly to see you with someone else, it feels like someone is piercing his heart with needles. And archons, if he sees you talking with Childe, you're dead meat. He will refuse to talk you and if you ask him if hes jealous he will be infuriated

"Me? Jealous?! JEALOUS? Of course not! What should I be jealous of?" He is jealous, very jealous. Comfort him please and tell him hes the only man you'll ever love

Once you finally convince him you arent going to leave him he will be clingly. Cuddles in bed, holding your hand, or sitting in his lap while he does work, any form of physical touch.

His love language is acts of service and gift giving. (His acts of service is not ethical)

He'd be lying if he said he wasn't jealous of what April and Casey had. A relationship, one that bloomed from friendship into something more. He wanted that, too. Because of him being a mutant turtle, he figured he was destined to be alone forever and live in the shadows like the ninja he was. Besides, Y/N didn't feel the same towards him at his advances; that was evident enough. Anytime he tried to get close to her, she looked like she was uncomfortable. He quit trying after that. But that didn't stop his feelings for her, and each longing was like a knife in his chest.

You didn't mean to fall for him. You were crushing real hard on the hero in the half shell. His eyes always made your heart skip a beat whether it him looking at you or the other way around. There was just something about him that made you always think about him since you two became friends. (He hid in the shadows outside your window, not wanting to scare you with his appearance until you wanted to see him after some time.)

You wanted to tell him how you actually felt. You noticed how he was staring at you and wanting to spend more time with you. There was a time when he tried to kiss you but you got so flustered he thought you didn't want him to do that. You did want to kiss him, but .... Love was just confusing. You entered the lair to see everyone but the turtle you wanted to see.

"Hey, where's (Leo/Raph/Donnie/Mikey)?"

"He went out. He probably wont be back until really late."

"Oh..."

You decided to wait in his room. Surely, his brothers or Splinter will tell him that you were looking for him. Opening his door you stepped into his room. You've been inside a time or two, but you still felt like you were invading his space.

You sat on his bed and wondered what you should do. It was going to be a while yet before he came back. You pulled out your phone and started browsing through your messages. You thought of texting him but then figured that probably would not be the best idea. If he was spying on the Foot, Karai, or any of the other dangerous criminals in New York, he had to be vigilant.

You instead pulled out your mp3 player and turned on some music. You were lost in your thoughts until your eyes felt heavy. It was way past midnight. You fought sleep as long as you could until your eyes closed and you drifted to sleep.

It was still dark out when he came back in. Everyone was already in bed. He yawned and stretched his stiff muscles, ready to hit the sack. He opened the door to his room... and saw Y/N laying on his bed. He was so surprised he asked without thinking,"What are you doing in my bed?"

You woke up to his voice (your mp3 player battery died and needed to be charged). You quickly sat up straight, your heart pounding in your chest. "I, I uhm..." you tried to speak. "I wanted to see you..." Maybe this could've waited till tomorrow....?

He sighed then apologized. "Sorry for waking you, its just... i wasnt expecting you... to be here..." If turtles could blush, he would be right now.

"Look... I'm sorry if it seems like I'm.. avoiding you....I'm not. I just needed to sort things out."

"No, it's my fault, I shouldn't have pushed you into it. I know now..." He had asked Casey about some relationship advice, even told him about his crush on you. He hoped everything would go right, but... maybe you just wanted to be friends, he had figured. "If you wanna stay just friends, I'm okay with that..."

You saw the look on his face, like he was trying to hide behind a smile. You then stood up and approached him. It was now or never; you was going to tell him how you really felt about him while you had the nerve. "You didn't do anything wrong. It was me. It was just so... sudden, you know? We'll always be friends, never doubt that."

You gave a pause. "But I've been having these warm, fuzzy feelings whenever you come around. And... I've been wanting to tell you that... I like you... a lot. I want to go out with you, even if we just stay here in the sewers or whatever." You gingerly took his hand, gripping it with tenderness. "I wasn't ready then, but I'm ready to give us a chance. We won't know if it'll work out if we don't try."

Was this really happening? Did you just agree to go out with him? He wasn't dreaming this, right? His mind had questions bouncing around. But they stopped as soon as he gripped your hand, holding it in his.

"Do you really mean it?" His eyes sparkled with hope.

You smiled back at him, blushing and softly giggled. "Yes, I mean it."

He smiled and gave a sweet kiss on your blushed cheek. He touched your forehead with his. You've made him the happiest turtle in the world. "If it's alright with you, we can get comfy in my bed. I can hold you till you can go back to sleep."

"Sure thing."

He held you in his arms and watched with tired eyes as you quickly drifted to sleep. Sleep soon took hold of him, too, and he joined you in slumber with a small smile on his face.

I read finally going water (i waited to be in the headspace and mood ) and it didn’t disappoint it was so good it made my cry at least once for chapters sometimes more you have a way with writing the emotions so tangible really I love it , you mentioned follow up stories and I’m excited I can see the all possibilities to explore , both buck and Eddie and the trauma , Chris trauma when they both come back to work , what about the Diaz siblings reconnecting and maybe another family Diaz meet up where Eddie brings buck and having to navigate the dynamic with buck officially being his boyfriend so many stuff ! I might have become obsessed with the universe lol sorry for the ramble the main thing is a love it

Ooh I didn’t really have anything with Chris or the Diaz siblings planned but maybe I could work them into my existing ideas… so far I have a little 4 part series of follow ups that I’ve written uh very little of. The general ideas:

- Buck gets hurt at work for the first time post cruise sinking. Eddie’s still off work and is struggling pretty badly with having survived something that should have killed him (again). Buck is really upset at being hurt because he knows it’s going to upset Eddie further. Told from Bobby’s pov going from the station to the call to taking Buck home to Eddie.

- 5 or 6 months after the sinking. Eddie pov. Buck and Eddie are getting married! Except Buck is running himself ragged and compromising on any nice ideas for the wedding he might have because he wants it to happen as fast as possible. Eddie knows its because he’s afraid about what could happen if Eddie were to die again and he wants some more paperwork tying them together and tying him to Chris, but Eddie confides in Bobby that half the time it feels like Buck is planning his funeral. Dont they just get to be in love! Dont they get their happy ending! Bobby says, of course, that he should probably talk to Buck about this. Ends with Eddie actually buying them rings to propose for real (that barely happened, it was almost a business discussion when they decided to go for it), and beyond that asks if Buck wants to go to city hall and get married the next day. Eddie insists it wont actually count, it will be a marriage on paper only, they’re going to have a long engagement and plan their real wedding as big and extravagant as they want it, but he understands Buck’s fear and wants to soothe that in whatever way he can. Buck apologizes for kind of forgetting the being in love part of wanting a wedding, and says he’d love to go not get married to Eddie.

-8? 10? Months after the sinking. Marisol is doing electrical work on her house and would love a firefighter’s guidance to make sure she doesn’t accidentally catch anything on fire or electrocute herself. But she doesn’t really want to talk to Eddie still! She’s still kind of mad at him! So she calls Buck instead (she’s also still a little mad at him but they went through it sort of together for those few awful days so this seemed the better option). Buck looks SO nervous being there like she’s going to suddenly attack or something. She kind of rolls her eyes about it. As they work he tells her they’re starting to do better, and he and Eddie are getting married. He actually admits they are already technically married and swears her to secrecy because literally no one knows except Bobby because they had to update station paperwork. Not really sure where I want this one to go i just wanted Marisol to have a chance to work through things! That all really sucked for her! I think she and buck end up as weird kind of friends.

- Around a year and a half after the sinking. A kind of bachelor party/group vacation to a lake somewhere. Everybody piled in a big rented house. Just a bunch of snippets of everyone finally doing actually okay and Buck and Eddie excited to get married for real.
