That time i got reincarnated as a slime

When their s/o sitting on their lap in public.

The first time you sit on their lap they get extremely nervous and blushing. They look around them to see peoples reactions “What will they think? Is this really ok?” are their thoughts. Poor souls aren’t used to this kind of thing. They probably tell you it is inappropriate but they don’t have the heart to push you away, they love you too much for that. Where are they going to put their hands? On your shoulders? On your thighs? Around your belly? Or should they first ask for your permission to even touch you? Help them s/o!! Try not to do it around too many people or even in front of their friends/leader, they might die of embarrassment!

Even when you have done this a couple of times they are still blushing and are a little nervous, but now they can put their arms around you and be a little more confident.

^ Benimaru, Souka, Geld? ^

These people LOVE it when you sit on their lap! You can do it whenever you want! When they sit and talk with their friends? Yes! While they are working? Of course! During the meetings? No problem! They will basically drag you to their lap and hold you with such pride and happiness. If you decide not to sit on their lap they might even look a little hurt and pout, but it gets over quickly.

If anyone questions it, they will be greatly offended. Like “How DARE you question us?” Is pretty much their reaction. (They might even start a fight, depending on who it is). They will continue to hold you anyway, it’s none of other people's business, they do as they want.

They get surprised at first and blushing, but they adapt pretty quickly. They don't mind at all, in fact they think it’s cute and nice that their s/o want to sit on their lap. It makes them feel happy that you trust them enough and want to protect you even more. It’s fine anytime, as long as it’s not in the way of work or during meetings. These people are pretty confident so they don't care what people think and say, what are they gonna do? Push you off? Then they must be very brave. However if their leader (if they have one) would tell them it’s inappropriate then they would simply tell s/o so, but if not then they would continue holding their s/o and looking at them with that loving and found smile of theirs.

“No dear s/o! No PDA, all cuddles and lap sitting is only for privacy!” They probably told you already from the start. If you decide to do it anyway, they will push you off and give you a glare that pretty much says “Not now. Later”. Teasing won't work either, sorry. BUT when it is finally just the two of you, they go all out! They hold you while they work, giving you a little peck sometimes. Putting you on their lap and might even feed you little sweets <3. If anyone disturb them while they have their bellowed alone time with s/o they will glare at however disturb them, still holding on tightly around their s/o. “Is it very important? Someone dying or what? No? If so, please leave”.

These people are most likely the ones who are sitting on YOUR lap. Don’t get me wrong, they LOVE it when you sit on their lap, but they prefer to be the little spoon and getting ALL their s/o attention. They don’t care if people stare, in fact they get a little cocky and get a confident/ego boost. “Yes this is my s/o, aren’t they amazing?! And only I get their attention. It’s fully understandable if you get jealous”. They would most likely be a little jealous if you pay your attention to someone else but them.

Ever since Veldora had been released there was a slight uneasiness deep down inside of him. Like some part was missing if he were to put it in words. While you have never met Veldora and both of you are aware of that fact he feels a strong familiarity with you.

“Rimuru my buddy! I have a small favor to ask of you-!” Veldora bursts into Rimuru’s office as boisterous as ever, however, as confident and self assured Veldora was when it came to you he was a person lost in the middle of the mediterranean sea on a raft.

Rimuru turned to face the storm dragon with an raised as he answers the behemoth of a man, “What is it Veldora? You almost never come to me for help unless it’s super important or intense” Veldora tensed up for a moment before letting out a defeated sigh, throwing himself limply into Rimuru’s couch.

“I know that you’re the only person who actually really knows Y/N…I’ve wanted to ask him to take a walk with me for the longest but I have no clue how to…” The demon lord cackles at Veldora’s immense dread over asking you a simple question. “You ask him just like that Veldora— you don’t need to make it a huge deal im sure Y/N would love to walk with you!” Rimuru explains between laughs, however his explanation was just enough to push the dragon who leaped out the couch and ran out of Rimuru’s office to find you leaving the poor slime.

You were talking to Shuna and Rigurd about who knows what honestly. The conversation was pleasant though, well until the tornado called Veldora came running straight towards you, unable to stop himself in time runs into you practically tackling you to the ground.

“What the hell Veldora??” You yelled looking down at the dragon groaning in your chest. “Well…that wasn’t part of the plan…ow…” Veldora mumbled before quickly getting up and facing you with a determination enough the break the heavens. “Y/N! I would like it very much if you joined me on my walk today, if that’s alright with you of course..” Your sour expression quickly changed to excitement as you stood up facing Veldora with a smile and happily nodding your head in agreement.

The walk was moderately quiet for majority of the time, Veldora would occasionally tell a small story about a certain area he was familiar with but that was about all. Until you reached a beautiful lake, the sky was still moderately bright with a fur warm hues streaking across it. You marveled at the sight as Veldora lead you to a smooth section in the grass and plopped down resting his arms behind his back looking up at the sky. You followed suit and sat down next to his with your legs crossed (A/N: Criss cross apple sauce style)

After a good whole of silence Veldora clears his throat his face slightly flushed possibly with embarrassment as he turns to you. “Say…Y/N…I wonder if we ever knew each other in a past life, you just seem so familiar to me…and I feel comfortable with you, I’m sure this sounds really odd to you—“ Veldora rambles still flustered but also with a look of determination and purpose, he was clearly being sincere and you for sure could tell.

“I don’t think you’re too far off Veldora, I wouldn’t be surprised if we did used to know each other in our past life, but this isn’t our past life. I’m happy that I know you now!” Veldora’s eye brighten as he nods and scoots a little closer to you grabbing your hands in his.

“Forgive me for my boldness but i’ve fallen completely and utterly in love with you Y/N, I feel like a puppy always wanting to follow you around and gain your affection” Veldora blurts out, for how long you two have known each other this honestly shouldn’t have been a huge surprise but it was, to you at least~

And that’s it folks, it’s pretty short ikik and it probably sucks but this is sort of a test for me to see how well I can get used to tumblr’s format

Can I have a scenario where Mitsuri Reader gets sick after Rimuru becomes a demon lord and his goal to defeat Clayman

At the moment when Rimuru is fighting with Milim who is controlled, suddnely Rimuru hears Souei’s voice by using his telepathy to tell him the bad news that his lover Mitsuri Reader having a bad fever while Shuna is taking care of Reader, it appears that Reader’s fever is 38.5 higher.

This part is a sick Mitsuri Reader x Rimuru

-Rimuru scowled behind his mask, his mood already not the greatest, seeing Milim being controlled by that asswipe Clayman, having to fight her- or at least making Veldora fight her.

-Ever since he entered Walpurgis with the other demon lords, to be recognized as one himself, Rimuru had been on edge, feeling antsy, angry, mainly because he didn’t want to leave you back in the village.

-He knew he wouldn’t have been able to bring you with him, not with these other demon lords around, not willing to risk your safety, and you saw him off with a smile and a kiss, something Veldora earned a punch for after teasing him for so long along the trip.

-Rimuru dodged a blow from Milim who got away from Veldora, getting away from her easily before he heard Souei’s voice in his head, messaging him via telepathy, “My Lord- we found Lady Y/N collapsed inside your home. Princess Shuna is tending to her now, but she has a very high fever.”

-As if his power exploded, he managed to blow Milim back as Shion dealt with Clayman, working on finishing him up and Milim sat up from the crater, the other demon lords in shock as she rubbed her head, “Owiee!! That hurt!”

-After being teased mercilessly that she managed to fool everyone into thinking that Clayman was controlling her, Clayman easily getting his ass handed to him afterward, Rimuru bid everyone else goodbye.

-Milim went to stop him, wondering what the rush was before he turned, giving her a grin, “The woman I love needs me right now.” Many were impressed with his attentiveness to another, willingly admitting it and Milim was quick to gasp, grabbing her bestie and shot through the portal back to the Tempest as she adored you- as you would always share your sweets with her.

-Rimuru arrived back quickly, along with Milim, the two running into the house he shared with you, finding Shion tending to you while you were resting in bed, flushed and a cool rag over your forehead.

-Rimuru greeted her, and she smiled, welcoming them both back warmly before she spoke, “Her fever was very high, but thanks to the combined effort of Sir Vesta and myself, we were able to get it to break.”

-He transformed into his slime form, sitting beside you as you were panting softly out of your mouth, looking like you were in pain, “Do you know what brought the fever on so suddenly? She was fine this morning when she saw all of us off.”

-Shuna shook her head, also a bit stumped, “Sir Vesta is currently researching a sample of her blood, but at the moment- nothing is showing up.”

-Raphael then spoke up, running a scan, *Alert: the cause for sudden fever is due to high levels of stress.* Rimuru basically deflated, a deep sigh leaving him as he told Shuna what he was able to find out.

-Shuna smiled softly, realizing how worried you had been for all of them that you made yourself so sick. Rimuru leapt onto your body, enveloping you within him, using his healing ability to help heal you faster before pulling back, “Thank you Shuna, I’m glad that you were here.”

-She beamed at the praise, patting his head and taking her payment of cuddling him for a few minutes before she left him and Milim, who was raiding the kitchen for snacks, alone with you.

-Rimuru morphed back into his humanoid form and cuddled up to you, pressing a kiss to your cheek, “I’ll always come back to you- Y/N.” you remained asleep, but he saw you smile softly, making him smile as he sighed softly, glad to be back home with you.

(I'd imagine he probably wouldn't know too much about romance beyond what he's read in the ‘Sacred Texts’, so things may be a tad awkward, but it'd be cute that he tries so hard to be romantic!)

You wanted him to be the one to ask first, but you had gathered that he really doesn't know the concept of "courting", so you had to take the lead.

Not that you minded, though

the way he gave you that blank face for a second before it became a big, fanged smile, made your heart melt into goo

Even though you asked, he was the one that wanted to plan out the date. He wanted to use his knowledge from the "sacred texts" and you woo you with all his might!

When the day of the date finally came, Veldora came knocking on your door, wearing a tight fitting suit, flowers in one hand and that big fanged smile that you adores so much

You giggle at his prideful grin, taking the flowers from him, saying you will put them in a vase before leaving for the date

Once done, Veldora confidently takes you hand takes you into town, showcasing a new restaurant with exotic food. He places you in your seat and sits across from you.

Now, you don't seem to notice, but Veldora is beyond nervous, he's just hiding it extremely well.

He doesn't want to mess up, so he keeps remembering back to the texts that he saw in Rimuru's memories, following them to a T. It's not what he would do, no he would show you how strong he is by hunting strong game and giving it to you as a present.

He doesn't see the point of the flowers or the suit, but you liked it so it didn't matter, he supposes.

He watches as you eat your meal, him scarfing his down until it was gone.

Good, everything seems to be goin well, we would tell himself, his heart pounding in his chest as you smiled at him.

He likes you so much, the way you laugh, the way you smile, the way you can match him in a game of wits. He didn't want mess this date up at all.

He became unaware of your stares as he sank deeper into his own thoughts. Touching his hand, you got his attention and asked what was wrong.

Though his pride says to not say anything, that everything was fine, he didn't want to lie so you said his concerns. How he hoped that the date wasn't bad and that he was doing it right.

You laughed, squeezing his hand, reassuring you the date was great, and not because it was the gifts or the venue. No, it was because it was Veldora that asked you on the date.

Feeling much better about the situation, veldora abruptly gets out of his seat and kisses you right on the lips in excitement. Giggling, you kissed him back.

You knew you made the right decision when you asked him out.
