i don’t know if anything hits quite like a you know why moment.

i love it when it’s sad and resigned. like, he's said it over and over and she knows it. but it doesn't matter. it doesn't change anything — but that doesn't make it any less true.

i love it when it’s frustrated and desperate, begging them to understand. wondering how they haven't seen or felt it because it feels so painfully obvious. and yet, here they are, needing it spelled out.

i love when it’s angry and bitter. she doesn't want to feel like this, doesn't want to be controlled by it. but wanting doesn't get you very much, or so she's learning.

i just.... i love the raw emotion of it all. the way it strips away any pretense or defenses and it's just the characters, forced to finally confront the horrible, inconvenient truth that is love.
