Jumping on the Jack R outrage bandwagon

What also gets me about Jack getting another R card, is this also means Savanaclaw is the only dorm now to not have a Halloween SSR card. And this is just my prediction, but given the way that Jack's card is the only one that doesn't have ribbons or strings attached to the side, he's probably going to be pretty important to the story, aka with the puppet theme and likely people being controlled, it feels like he's not going to be controlled and making him Very Important for the story line

Anyways Justice for Jack

So far, I noticed that ALL the halloween events had at least one dorm leader SSR; Vil for SM, Riddle for EH, Malleus, Idia and Azul for GM and now Kalim for PL; Which makes it highly likely that Leona will be 2024's halloween SSR! It will happen, it's only a matter of time (that rules out Jack and Ruggie as possible halloween SSRs for next year tho 💔)

NO LISTEN I'VE BEEN THINKING THE SAME. ABOUT HOW JACK'S OUTFIT SEEMS DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHERS

Out of the R cards, Lilia, Trey and Jade all have loose ribbons on their sides. Now look at Jack; his ribbons aren't loose, but rather...

...They are tied to his cuffs and connected to his back. Why only he has ribbons tied that way?? And something that particularly makes me uneasy is why he has ribbons tied to his knees. Doesn't that seem oddly restricting? Especially for THE most athletic and physically strong character?

Notice that it's a single ribbon, tying his knees together. All of the ribbons on his cuffs and knees seem to be of enough length to make him move comfortably at least, but wouldn't that prove to be a hassle for his movements in case of an emergency? He can't properly run with his legs tied like that. He can't properly fight using fists with his arms tied like that.

Considering the boys did not choose their outfits (it magically appears on their bodies once they enter inside playful land) it's almost as if... That was purely intentional on Fellow's part. As if he's wary of Jack and is very much conscious about how he could use his raw strength to break out, and the ribbons tying up his limbs is to ensure that he will stay contained and restricted like a dog on a leash.

Nothing is confirmed yet but I sure hope those ribbons will have a bigger role in the plot and aren't there just for aesthetics 😭 If those ribbons really will be like strings that holds a puppet together, I can imagine that Lilia's, Trey's and Jade's ribbons will be holding them up like they're puppets and Jack's ribbons will be for restricting him.

Ok as much as I'd love for Jack to be important in the story I don't think that's going to happen since he's merely a R card AGAIN and much less will be of more importance than the others 😭 Whatever predicament happens to Jack will likely happen to the R characters (and SRs?) as well, like being restricted or controlled. The SSRs are supposed to be the protagonists of the story after all. BUT I still hope there's a small scene that shows his ribbons restricting him and proves that the placement of HIS ribbons especially aren't just for show 😳😳😳

Dragons in Twisted Wonderland (Heartslabyul)

(Long Post) Pt.1

Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octivinelle, Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ighnyhide, Diasomnia.

After turning in the stone, and saving Ace and Deuce’s student career. Y/n was surprised when Crowley said that they could join the student body, as a beast Tamer. He even made Ramshackle their official dorm and place to house their dragon. With that Ace and Deuce returned to their own dorm, while Grim, SkyCrest, and Y/n returned to Ramshackle. As Grim happily ran inside, Y/n stopped as they felt a pair of eyes on them, SkyCrest could sense it too. Y/n and SkyCrest looked at a nearby tree, to see the Skycutter from the mines. It hung upside down as it watched them, it slowly crawled down and sat before Y/n and SkyCrest.

"Hello again," Y/n greeted with a smile, the Skycutter tilting her head in curiosity. "Looking for shelter too?"

The Skycutter nodded, its pupils wide and curious. SkyCrest smiled as she hopped around the Skycutter happily. The SkyCutter being a proud dragon, merely watched in confusion as her head followed the light furry. Y/n smiled as they checked the SkyCutter's wing one last time, before heading to bed.

Y/n had a strange dream of a girl and strange card soldiers who were painted white roses red. Sadly the dream was interrupted by horrified screams outside.

Y/n quickly leaped out of bed and looked out the window, to see Ace had met the Skycutter. They made their way downstairs and outside to help and save Ace.

After getting Ace to calm down, the Dragons simply sat and watched Ace with curiosity.

"What are you doing here Ace?" Y/n asked the scared boy.

" Geez! I’m never returning to Heartslabyul. I’m gonna be a member of this dorm from here on! But I wasn't expecting another dragon this dorm, I thought you only had one," Ace said.

"That collar’s the same kind as the one that red-haired guy's, Why are you wearing it?" Y/n asked

"I ate a tart, that's literally it," Ace scoffed as he retold the story of how this happened. "ain’t it overreacting to seal my magic just ’cause I ate his tart?! It’s practically the same as tying my hands and my feet! Plus, there were three whole ones! He can’t possibly finish all of those!"

"But nobody likes getting robbed of their things," Y/n pointed out. As they rested on the porch.

" I came here thinking that you’d agree with me about the Prefect being a little tyrant, Y/n," He groaned.

"Eating someone else’s food is not good, you know?" Y/n said simply as they tossed SkyCrest a fish. "Go apologize to him. Grudges over food are scary."

Y/n says as they side-eye SkyCrest, who gives a slight glare in return as she playfully wacks Y/n's head with her tail.

"You two are close, huh?" Ace comments.

"She's my best friend," Y/n smiles as she scratches SkyCrests chin.

"That's pretty cool I guess, so what did you have to do to Tame a dragon?" Ace asked, causing SkyCrest to scoff. Causing the boy to flinch and back away.

"I did not tame her, she chose to by my friend of her own choosing," Y/n corrected. "Dragons are very strong and intelligent beings. And need to be respected."

"I...Get it, I think," Ace said, still having many questions. "And how do you do that, and get them to like you?"

Y/n looks to Ace, then Skycutter as she slowly grabbed his hand and raised it up into the air. The SkyCutter slowly started to approach.

"H-hey Y/n! What are you doing?" He asked starting to get finicky as the large dragon approached.

"Just breathe and Relax, SkyCutter dragons are very smart," Y/n said in a calm voice.

The SkyCutter got closer, and Ace quickly shut his eyes and expected the worse. The SkyCutter slowly studied the scared boy as his fingers trembled in Y/n's strong and warm hold. The SkyCutter slowly and gently leaned her face into Ace's palm. Ace gasped slightly as he slowly opened his eyes to see how gentle the beast was. The Dragon slowly moved back and went off to sleep someplace.

"So you're staying here till you apologize to Riddle?" Y/n asked a still-shocked Ace.

Who quickly passes out. Y/n and SkyCrest looked down at him and sighed as they carried him into Ramshackle. Dropping him on the dusty couch.

Deuce had a better time coming to Ramshackle in the morning as the SkyCutter went out hunting for breakfast. So Ace, Deuce, Y/n, SkyCrest, and Grim made their first steps into the school as official students.

Grimm was proud and bragging about how all the students were looking in awe of him. When Really they were looking at the large 22-foot-long pearly Dragon standing by Y/n's side. Y/n decided to not burst Grimms hopes, so kept quiet. While SkyCrest smiled proudly and walked with a confident stride.

As they made their way into the magic mirror to Heartslabyul. Y/n, Grimm, and SkyCrest looked at this new place in awe. At the impressive palace-looking dorm, the fields of rose bushes and weirdly shaped bush hedges. Yet the light fury couldn't ignore the strange smell around the strange red roses.

"Oh, no. I gotta hurry and paint these roses red. If there are some left unpainted, it’s off with my head," said a worried voice.

The group looked into the rose maze to see an orange hair student, rushing about and painting all the white roses, red. This felt oddly strange and familiar to Y/n as they thought back to the dream. However soon the strange Orange haired boy noticed the first years watching him.

"Hm? Did you guys need something?" The boy asked.

"What’re you doin’?" Grimm asked

" This? As you can see, I’m painting the roses red," The boy said.

"Why would you do that? Why not just grow red flowers in the first place?" Y/n asked with a confused raised brow.

"Hm~ Your reactions are so fresh it’s kinda cute~!" The boy complimented Y/n. " Now that I look at you closely, you guys are the freshies who totally wrecked the 10mil chandelier and caused a ruckus yesterday."

"I feel like they won’t let that chandelier thing go until we graduate…" Ace sighed.

" Oh, I’m Cater Diamond, a 3rd year. That makes me your senior~ Call me Cater-kun, okay? Cate’s fine, too~♡ Heya, heya~," Cater smiles and gives Y/n a little wink. Y/n just rolls their eyes at his flirting.

"Is that a dragon, I've never seen one that looks like that. It's so pretty. Hey, hey~! Let’s take a pic together! Yay~! Hey, can I upload this? I wanna put hashtags so tell me your name,'' Cater bombarded them with questions and chatter.

"I’m Grim and that’s my follower Y/n," Grimm smirked but was whacked off his feet by SkyCrest.

"What a strange guy," Y/n comments.

"You’re the new prefect for Ramshackle Dorm! I’m surprised you can live in a place like that~! It’s so dark, and I feel like something’s gonna pop out~ I feel for ya, man~," Cater smiled.

"Rude," Y/n glares slightly and walked off. Cater was still smiling as Y/n walked away from him.

After Cater managed to trick the first years into painting the roses. He asked Ace about a replacement tart. This came as a surprise to all of them as Ace nervesly said no.

" Oh, man~ Izzat so? Then, since Rule #53 of the Queen of Hearts states that “You have to replace things that you stole.” I can’t let you back in the dorm," Cater smirked as he readied his pen.

"Huh?! What the heck?!" Ace gasped, as Deuce readied his pen.

" You have to follow the rules if you’re staying in this dorm. If I let it slide, then it’s off with my head, too~. Sorry, but I’ll have you leave before Riddle-kun notices.

He suddenly multiplied as known dozens of copies of himself and tried to shove the first years out of the dorm. No matter how many clones Grimm and Deuce manage to take down, more just appear. Y/n quickly took out a pouch of zippleback gas, and tossed it into the crowd of clones. As SkyCrest shot it dead on. The explosion erased all of the clones and sent the real one flying across the ground. Mostly unharmed if a bit frazzled as SkyCrest growled down at the orange-haired boy.

"We don't need your help leaving, Thank you very much," Y/n said as they stepped over him. SkyCrest quickly followed as the boys did too.

Deuce covered his face and apologized as he walked around Cater, while Grimm and Ace with a smirk happily stepped over Cater. Said the boy was still trembling slightly.

The school day was slow, and Y/n was bored out of her mind. They hated sitting still for hours on end with nothing to do. Nothing exciting happens here, nothing to do. P.E. was fine, it was at least doing something, even if it was just running in circles. Thankfully lunchtime came quickly, and taking care of the older hot-headed bullies was no problem. They quickly got cold feet when they noticed a dragon was ready to throw down on them.

"Whatever. Hide behind your dragon like cowards," The bully spat as he left with his buddies.

" Heh! All bark and no bite! Serves them right!" Grimm laughed.

"That was quite the predicament. To think that there would be such brutes in a prestigious magic school," Deuce sighed as they all sat down at a table to eat. Y/n and Deuce sat across from Ace, Grimm, and SkyCrest.

" Alright, let’s get back to business! I’m digging in~! Oh! This is so good! H-Hey!" Grimm gasped as SkyCrest started to sniff his tray of food. "Back Off This Is Mine!"

SkyCrest continued to put her snout closer to Grim's food as he desperately tried to keep it away from her.

"The omelet is so fluffy, and the cheese is so melty," Ace commented as he didn't help out grim.

"Minion! Do Something!" Grim shouted as he used his feet to keep SkyCrest's mouth away from his food.

Y/n sighed as they picked up a sandwich and handed SkyCrest their tray of food to the Dragon. SkyCrest happily inhaled the food, her eyes lighting up at the flavors in her mouth. Y/n was left with only half a sandwich.

"By the by, we saw your dorm a while ago, but what do the other dorms look like?" Y/n asked, trying to find something else to focus on. Other than their taken lunch.

"You’ve seen the statues of the Great Seven by Main Street, right? This school has seven dorms based on them," Cater said as he suddenly appeared and sat beside Y/n.

"Ugh! It's you," Y/n sighed as they shuffled a bit away from him. SkyCrest Growled at Cater.

"H-Hey, She's still not mad right?" Cater asked as he tried to hide behind Y/n.

"If you give her your food she may let you sit with us," Y/n said simply

"What?" Cater whined.

"Oops, my bad. My name’s Trey, Trey Clover. I’m a Heartslabyul 3rd year alongside Cater," Trey says as he moves Cater to his other side, away from Y/n and the dragon. "You’re from the Ramshackle. The new student who’s currently residing in the unused dorm, correct? I heard all about it from Cater. Sorry for the trouble our dormmates caused you yesterday."

Heartslabyul

Riddle Rosehearts

Riddle has always been very prim in regard to romance-- he has a very rigid idea in his head as to what romance should look like that he's quickly discovered while dating them is very unrealistic.

More often than not, they're the one who is leading things... however, Riddle managed to discover this little fact about them all on his own.

Riddle couldn't help but to smile as he feels them lay back across his chest. They'd wanted to watch a movie together, and while he wasn't normally the sort of person who would indulge in things like movies or television, he knew it would make them happy.

He had intended for it to be sweet. Romantic, even, when he leans in and gently kisses the side of their neck. It's not even that big of a kiss, just a quick brush of his lips against the side of their neck.

They jump, hand darting to his thigh just above his left knee and squeezing into his flesh. Riddle is startled by their reaction as well, and pulls away from their neck. It takes them a moment, but they seem to catch themselves and clear their throat, adjusting themselves.

Oh. Riddle feels himself flush, the pieces finally clicking into place for what had just happened. Experimentally, he leans in again, giving them plenty of time to move away if they don't want him to touch them. They don't move, and when he finally presses his lips against their neck again, he hears the soft way their breath hitches. It's fascinating, how reactive they are, and he explores just a little more trailing a few open mouthed kissed along their neck to see how their reaction changes as he does.

He doesn't do much more than that, instead letting the both of them return to the movie, but he is certain to file that information away for later.

He doesn't pull it out often-- he's certainly too proper to pull it out of his toolkit while they're in public, so he usually reserves it for private moments, using it as a reward for them when they've been through a rough day.

And he might "coincidentally" forget it from time to time when he's really trying to rile them up and is playing the part of smug little shit.

Ace Trappola

Ace is going to have a field day with it as soon as he figures out how sensitive their neck is. He loves to push buttons-- in fact if there is a button he's going to push it.

He definitely doesn't shy away from using it to get them flustered, even in public. He will tug them aside from the crowd and kiss and nip at their neck just enough to get them super horny and then will turn and walk off like nothing happened while laughing like a jackass.

He usually used this power for evil, but not always. He has his moments where he can really be a romantic, and when they are making out with him he will pretty often kiss their neck and whisper praise and compliments against it. He really, really does treasure him, and he likes that they don't seem to mind him being as impish as he is. They don't expect him to not be himself, and it's probably his favorite thing about them.

He sometimes genuinely does forget how sensitive their neck is, and will just go in to give them a hug and nuzzle into their neck only to work them up super badly without even meaning to.

They will probably need to learn how to cover up hickeys if they have any sense of shame. Ace certainly doesn't when he's leaving them.

Deuce Spade

He also discovers it accidentally, and when he does so and realizes he's just gotten them super worked up, he apologized profusely. You would almost think he was the one who was getting hot from having his neck kissed.

He is super polite about it. He asks before he kisses their neck every time, and he checks in to make sure they're okay.

That being said, for as polite as he is, he's pretty intense about actually kissing their neck. He really, really likes doing it, and he loves petting his hands through their hair while he mouths at their pulse point and the lean against him. There's just something very attractive about watching them unravel like that.

Deuce's teeth graze against their pulse point, his tongue following shortly to lap at the skin there gently. They squirm under him, but tip their head further back into the support of his palm. He pulls back for a moment, glancing at them to check and make sure they were okay. They take a second to open their eyes, looking a bit dazed at him, and their eyes are blown wide with desire. It was a good look on them.

"Feel good?" He ventures, voice hushed. They swallow thickly, and nod. He smiles at them, affectionate and pleased. "Should I keep going?"

His hands fiddle with the hem of their shirt as he asks. They glance down, and then nod slowly, again.

He takes the permission gratefully, eyes lidding as he licks his lips before leaning back in to get his mouth back on their neck.

Trey Clover

Trey doesn't go for their neck often unless it is in the heat of the moment, so he probably wouldn't discover it until the first time they do sleep together.

I've said before, he isn't a great flirt. What he is good at, though, is showing his interest physically if he knows that he's allowed. He's not the sort of guy who will intentionally rile them up, but he would give them a little signal of his interest in things getting a bit heavier by placing a quick, chaste kiss against their neck or their collarbones. It becomes a sort of secret language for them, albeit a horny one.

In the same vein, he will touch their neck pretty often with his hands too. A lot of the others really focus on their mouths, but Trey will touch the back of their neck as a little gesture of affection. (They might have to tell him to knock it off if they don't like his cold fingers, though!) He also will offer them neck and shoulder rubs if they would like them. It's not like he's trying to get them horny in those cases, it is just a side effect.

He definitely starts to focus on their neck more while they're in the bedroom, since he knows they like it.

Otherwise, thankfully, Trey is pretty sweet about it. He thinks it's kind of a neat thing for them and he definitely would challenge them to find his own erogenous zones if they want to.

Cater Diamond

Cater also has a sensitive neck, so he probably finds out pretty quickly after starting to date them because he likes to fool around and test to see what they like.

He definitely has an oral fixation, so he loves getting his mouth on them. He likes to kiss, suck, lick and bite their neck-- you name it and he loves to do it. He's got sharp canines and loves to leave a mark, so they will have to be good about either covering them up or stopping him before he leaves a mark. He is a bit mischievous so he will leave marks to prank them so long as he knows it won't make them uncomfortable.

He loves to reciprocate-- if they kiss his neck he wants to kiss theirs. It's sort of a competition, actually.

Cater's teeth are sharp where they poke against the side of their neck, and his tongue traces over where he's sucking a hickey into their skin. His hand that's not supporting their jaw is wandering, fingertips dipping under their shirt and skirting across their side.

They get vocal when he gives them hickies and it's like music to his ears. He loves to hear them moan like this, to know how good they're feeling because of him. It turns him on and makes the warm feeling of love and affection well in him. He really wonders if they know how much he treasures them.

He sighs contently, deciding to give them another one, just for good measure. Just so that they think of him when they see it in the mirror tomorrow. And he hopes when they do, they get to feel that same happy feeling that he's feeling right now.

Savanaclaw

Leona Kingscholar

Leona is by far the worst of all of them about having this information. He will absolutely use it to embarrass and tease them.

He already really likes having his arms around them and hugging them from behind while out and about, so expect him to add kissing their neck as a pretty regular thing. And he really doesn't care who's watching when he does it either because he has no shame.

He already has a thing for necks-- something something instinct or something, all he knows is that he likes to bite them. It soothes something inside of him to nip at and bite his partner's neck, so he probably discovered this pretty quickly after starting to date them... at least assuming they didn't makeout before they started dating. If so, he definitely figured it out then.

Because of his instincts, he will often touch their neck without even thinking about it. It's pretty common for him to just... reach up and rest a hand on the back of their neck when they're standing close to each other to let them know he's still there. Or, when they're alone, it's pretty common for him to just... thunk his head right down in the crook of their neck. If they aren't too squirmy, he might even fall asleep there and trap them in their personal version of hell.

Ruggie Bucchi

Ruggie is delighted to find out that they have a sensitive neck. He definitely started giggling the first time he stumbled across it and used it to tease them mercilessly.

Keeping up with that thread, he will periodically return to it to fluster them and rile them up.

Ruggie is probably one of the few who wouldn't really make it a go-to thing to get them in the mood. There's plenty of other ways to do it, so it might happen a few times, but it's not one of the ones he will pick first.

Jack Howl

Jack 100% stumbles across it on accident. He wasn't even kissing their neck or anything, he was trying to help brush some of their hair off the back of their neck where it was sticking and they just yelped and glared at him. It takes him a long time to even process what happened, and when he does he apologizes profusely.

Jack is a good boy, so he tries not to touch their neck while they're in public, and only in private if they tell him he's allowed to. He will, again, apologize if he accidentally touches it though.

However, if they tell him he can touch or kiss their neck, he goes a little wild with it. He will scrape his teeth across their skin gently and will lick and kiss at it until they're a writhing mess in his lap.

Octavinelle

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul takes relationships on his own timeframe, so he discovers their neck is sensitive well into the course of their relationship. He's strictly professional when he's in the public, so they were most definitely alone and preparing for some quality time when he discovers it.

He knows they like having their neck kissed, but he will exploit it to get to heard them ask for it. He doesn't show his hand, but he really likes hearing them voice their want for his attention. It makes him feel desirable.

Azul gently scrapes his teeth along their collarbone where their button down droops open slightly, and he hears the way that they gasp as he skirts teasingly past where he knows that they want him.

"Azul." Their tone is nearly scolding, and Azul can't quite tamp down the grin that rises to his face. He absolutely knows what he's doing, but who would he be to simply give them what they want? After all, he's a businessman and he knows he can leverage this situation to benefit him. To benefit the both of them, even-- selfish he may be in his line of work, but never when it comes to them.

"Did you need something, beloved?" He murmurs against their shoulder.

"You know what I want." They huff.

"I'm afraid I don't. Won't you tell me?" He gives them a coquettish look, batting his eyelashes in the most darling way that he can. They grimace right back at him.

"Would you please kiss my neck already?"

Jade Leech

Jade's style of flirting is definitely an acquired taste, and much like everything else in their relationship, he's kind of a jackass the moment he finds out that they have a sensitive neck. Make no mistake: he will never do something they ask him not to, but within his limits he will push their buttons to see where those lines are drawn exactly.

He will frequently interrupt a normal conversation to touch their neck and kiss at it only to immediately revert back to the topic of conversation as if nothing happened at all.

He probably accidentally leaves a few marks or scratches on their neck thanks to his teeth, though mostly unintentionally unless they as him to bite.

Floyd Leech

Floyd would be pretty excited about learning that their neck is sensitive at first, but would probably pretty quickly get tired of it and move on to something else. For a while, though, he'll be pretty insufferable about it. As in, there's not a day that goes by that his partner doesn't have a new hickey or bite mark on their neck that they have to cover up.

However, they shouldn't let their guard down. Just because he's gotten bored with his teasing doesn't mean he won't remember it at all. He will probably use it to fluster the hell out of them at inopportune times whenever the mood strikes him.

They gasp as Floyd presses an hand next to their head against the wall and leans into their space, grin unsettlingly wide and sharp as he looks down at them. It feels like just as much of a threat as it does a flirt.

"You know, shrimpy, you're looking especially delicious today." They barely have time to process his words before he sinks his teeth into the side of their neck and shoots their brain into the stratosphere. It's not enough to break the skin, but they most certainly are going to have a ring of shark-like teeth marks on the side of their neck. The reasonable part of their brain knows they should be upset at him-- that they're going to have to cover that up or face the scrutiny of their peers for the next week. However, said reasonable part of their brain has checked out for the day.

Floyd laughs against their skin, tongue tracing along the new mark rather possessively. He doesn't even have the decency to look slightly ashamed of himself.

Trey Clover

Trey loves seeing the way you react around him, seeing you get all flustered makes his heart race and it only makes him want to tease you more

He found out about your "secret" by accident LMAOOO. The two of you were in the Heartslabyul kitchens with you reading a book and sitting on the counter, and Trey had a tray of baked goods in his hands(haha get it, Trey, tray?)

You suddenly got a text from ADeuce that Grim was causing trouble in the Rose Maze to which you promptly took off to take care of your brat cat, but in the process of doing so, you left your book wide open.

Trey didn't mean to look! He was walking towards the counter with the tray of baked goodies in his hands when his eyes wandered and landed on the page.

By the time that you made it back from stopping Grim from burning down Heartslabyul dorm, you walk back into the kitchen, seeing Trey reading the contents of the book, fully invested. As soon as he hears you coming back in, he merely smiles at you like, "This is what you're into?"

Definitely does not let you live it down, and only teases you more from there(in a lighthearted manner obv)

Ace Trappola

He's an absolute menace, shit-eating grin, and everything. A lil piss baby.

The two of you are in a study session together, you're helping him with the recent history lesson that the two of you went through in Trein's class.

Ace gets up to go to the bathroom, but when he does that, he just so happens to glance over at what you're reading on your phone when he suddenly just grabs it out of your hands.

He starts reading the lines of dialogue(and he's pretty damn loud too, it's a wonder you guys didn't get kicked out of the library right then and there), holding your phone high above your head.

Meanwhile, you're all flustered and your face is flushed as you tug on his uniform sleeve to try and bring his arm down.

He'll never openly admit it but he finds your reactions very cute and he wants to see more from you.

He continues teasing you, but he never crosses your boundaries, If he does tease you too much to the point where you get upset, he quickly apologizes, mainly because he starts panicking(Grim also joins in on the teasing even though he has no idea what's going on)

Azul Ashengrotto

He gets embarrassed on your behalf for you.

So this is under the assumption that the two of you have been friends for a little while, mutual pining definitely not obvious(who am I kidding, it's very obvious everyone can tell you guys are down bad for each other)

he doesn't make fun of you, it's not like he's going to judge you for your interests. Pre-overblot, he may have taken the opportunity to use it as blackmailing you into obeying his every whim, but post-overblot he's far more thoughtful in regard to you

So when he does inevitably find out, while you're all embarrassed and trying to find an excuse for yourself, he's clearing his throat and handing you back your phone/book(whatever you were using to read what you were) and looking away shyly with a blush on his face.

Other than that, I'd rather point out characters who get the *wrong* kind of attention:

Cater Diamond - He's not just some silly little guy with his silly little phone.

Trey Clover - This man might be "boring" compared to the mentally ill insanity in NRC but oh boy, he's certainly not sane either.

Floyd Leech - "Funny Mood swings go brr", no. Just no.

(Kalim Al-Asim - While his image slowly changes, he's still seen too many times for just being a fun, naive, little guy.)

Your hands worked on his shoulders, kneading on them. Much to his delight, your palms moved to his lower back.

"Yeah, that hits the spot."

A well-deserved treat for one of the most hardworking people you know. Ruggie didn't have too much muscle on him, he was lean.

"Why do I smell coconuts?"

"Oil, for your massage...?"

"It feels like one of those expensive spa things now," Ruggie laughed.

He fidgeted while you were busy doing circular motions along his upper back. You were worried that he might not be enjoying it, but his occasional sounds of delight say otherwise.

"I better feel like a whole new person after this..."

"You will, you will," you chuckled lightly.

After a few more minutes, Ruggie was soundly dozing off, a content look settled on his face.

"You're offering me a massage? That's thoughtful, thanks a bunch."

Trey was all muscle. You remembered a couple of times when he told you about his work back home. No wonder he was so muscular, carrying bags of flour was no joke. You made the mistake of carrying those yourself once.

"Can you go a bit lower? Oh— yeah, that's the... You're pretty good at this," Trey sighed.

From circular motions to kneading, you were concentrated on your work. Dutifully untying the knots from a day's work. Massages... It was art and a treat you could give your friends.

And you spared no effort to make sure Trey gets a nice little spa session to himself.

"I'd say I had a pretty productive day today. So, aren't you gonna reward me with some massages?"

For someone that sleeps almost all-day everyday, Leona's muscles were hard. Your hands were beginning to get sore from all the work.

Your well-oiled palms travelled from his broad shoulders to the arcs of his back. You made sure that every square inch of his body was tended to.

Flicks of his tail were an indicator of his mood, and this time's movements were of relaxation. Slowly swishing back and forth, and tingling lightly. That's when you knew you hit the right spot.

"That's it, right there..."

You put more pressure into your palms, focusing on the points you've marked to be the ones that needed the most attention.

"Mind if I sleep a little?"

"You sleep all the time. But sure, go ahead."

Fr all the boys in the main Yuu squad have been getting love with SRs or SSRs (Deuce, Ace, Ortho, Sebek not so much but still counts) and Jack is completely neglected.

He did NOT begrudgingly help Ace and Deuce in the Octavinelle chapter to be backstabbed like this.

NO FR I COUNTED THE FIRST YEAR'S EVENT CARD COUNT

R cards:

Ace: 0

Deuce: 2

Jack: 4

Epel: 2

Sebek: 2

Ortho: 1

SR cards:

Ace: 4

Deuce: 3

Jack: 2

Epel: 4

Sebek: 3

Ortho: 3

And the current event SSRs (not counting birthday or club SSRs);

Ortho with 3 (counting Cerberus Gear) Ace and Deuce with 2, Jack, Epel and Sebek with 1.

Jack has twice the amount of R cards than the others...... this is so sad and frustrating wtf... especially how his R cards are easily more stunning than his other SRs and SSRs?! (yeah I'd rather have fairy gala, swimwear and playful dress as SSR than portfest, fight me)

It's even more frustating that Jack and Trey were R cards instead of Cater and Vil in this event considering that;

Cater is in his FIFTH SR card (currently the character with more SRs) while he only has 1 R card

Vil had a SR and a SSR this year (two groovy illustrations) while only having 1 R card as well

Trey is in 3rd R card alongside with Jade; his last SR was 2 years ago (endless halloween)

Jack is in his 4th R card while his last SR was 3 years ago (scary monsters)

The imbalance and favoritism is getting really hard to ignore now ngl.... They better start balancing out card rankings for the next years, as in giving more R cards to those who already have too many SRs/SSRs and vice versa

But I can probably guess two confirmed cards that might break this chain a little;

Jack's masterchef card, probably coming next year. His first SR after over 3 years (unless he has a SR event card before that)

Ace's tsum card will most likely be a R, considering most of the first years (minus Ortho) had a R card in this event and Ace is the only first year left. If.... If Ace really does get a SR card... another one... Then there will be no shade of doubt that this is blatant favouritism 😭I'm REALLY hoping this isn't...

Vice Dorm Leaders - What gets them flustered?

CW: SFW, Super niche headcanons for Jade that are ALL FOR ME because I think they're cute (lol), Rook is implied to have a crush on Neige (but like a celebrity crush). Mostly fluff so nothing super intense here!

Trey Clover

Trey doesn't get flustered often, but he's not unshakable either.

He gets flustered when he's being praised-- not so much when it's a passing compliment, but when several people are complimenting him at once, he will get a bit red in the cheeks.

He gets flustered when he has to dress up. Especially if he feels as though he's overdressed. He is the sort of person who isn't a huge fan of drawing attention to himself, so he always feels like he looks tall, lanky, and awkward in formal suits, or even fancy clothes like the ceremonial robes. It's not so bad if he's surrounded by other people in the robes, but if he's being honored for something he would be quite happy to just sink into the floor.

Similarly, he gets super embarrassed when he has to put on costumes. He would often take his younger siblings trick or treating when he was still living at home, and he would always want to wear a mask because he would turn bright red if he got caught in costume by someone he knew. Unfortunately for him, his parents really didn't often let him wear a mask for the full night because he would act as an additional chaperone for his siblings, and he wasn't really able to avoid a costume lest he disappoint said siblings, so...

Jade Leech

Jade also doesn't fluster easily. In fact, he's downright difficult to fluster in any meaningful capacity. However, and this is entirely conjecture because it's not really touched on at all in canon, I like to believe he was a lot more shakable as a middle schooler.

Hear me out... I think Jade and Floyd had braces. Do I really have any evidence for this other than the fact that Jade tends to smile with a closed mouth? No, absolutely not, but I'm sticking to my guns. I think Jade had braces and was shy about it, so he tends to keep his mouth closed more than Floyd does out of habit.

The other thing that embarrassed the hell out of him? When he first came on land and was learning how legs work, he ate shit a lot. There were many occasions where he "folded in half like a folding chair" as Floyd loves to put it. He hates it when his brother tells that story, and he gets a little flustered every time... And a strong, strong Cain Instinct.

He will tell you he's shy but that's pretty much a lie. He only really gets shy if someone is intensely examining him, and even then he finds it more unsettling than flustering.

Now, acts of physical affection? That's what will fluster him. He's used to casual touches from Floyd or Azul since they've grown up together, but to have someone else straighten his collar or give him a hug would be enough to give him the jitters. Unfortunately, he has an exceptionally good poker face, so even if he is flustered, most people probably wouldn't be able to tell.

Jamil Viper

Compliments are, quite literally, the fastest way to see Jamil get bashful. Of course he loves to hear praise about himself, and he often says it as a joke, but if he gets a heartfelt compliment he goes red in the face in an instant and has no idea how to respond. Kalim is unfortunately very honest about his feelings which means that he's very good at flustering the good Christ out of him when he tries.

Another thing that flusters him is having someone clock into the fact that he's a lot more talented than he usually shows. He hates having it pointed out, after all he's doing his best to be subtle, but if they notice and don't make a big deal of it or only mention it privately, he will get a little flustered. In a good way. It kind of feels nice to be known.

Flirt with him. That's not a joke-- he's very unused to having people flirt with him so he trips over himself really fast if someone hits on him.

Rook Hunt

Rook is a tough nut to crack. Staying calm is a huge part of being a successful hunter, so there's not a lot that someone could do that would break through that.

... Unless your name is Neige Leblache, in which case, everything you do that acknowledges him is going to fluster him. Rook has such a celebrity crush it's not funny.

If your name isn't Neige, though, the quickest way to fluster him is definitely to catch him off guard. It's hard as hell to do, but very rewarding, especially if you manage to catch him, the romantic, off guard with a pick up line. It helps to have a prop prepared, and if you want to see him swoon get him a bouquet. He finds the spontaneity romantic.

Lilia Vanrouge

If Rook is a tough nut, Lilia Vanrouge is solid stone. He's incredibly hard to fluster. Essentially take the level of calm and level-headedness that you get with Rook and crank the knob all the way up and then break it off. He's nearly unshakable simply because of all the lived experiences he has.

There are a couple of ways, though, so not all hope is lost!

The first is to court him. I don't mean hitting on him, and I don't even mean asking him out. I mean old-fashioned do their research, link arms with him, pen a letter and bring him flowers and jewelry type court. He was raised in an era where being courted and being chivalrous was very, very in fashion. He loves to be doted on, and that sort of dedication will both impress and fluster him.

The other way is more platonic, and that's to make him feel like he's family. Lilia highly values family, and it feels good to have a place surrounded by people that makes him feel like he belongs. He spent a lot of his youth at war and seeing the parts of humanity that most people would turn their heads away from. He sometimes feels like he is a monster, so having someone who can love him in spite of where he's been and what he's done means more to him than he can put into words. If they do something that makes him have that momentary realization that Oh, they love him unconditionally, it's going to fluster him. He'll get red in the face and might even get a little bit teary.
