If I miss a single lesson, that bird is going to rapidly approach my house.

It was all fun and dandy until, all of a sudden, one of the characters mention "Duo"

And I'm thinking to myself, "who the heck is Duo?"-AND THEN, one of the characters talk about "Duolingo" in a sentence, or one of the notifs of the characters saying somewhere around the lines "or don't. Encouragement is Duo's thing."

And I'm like..

"Holy crap, these characters are becoming sentient."

And the next thing you know, you're tied up in a chair with that damn green bird torturing you with lessons until you can get every single one r i g h t.

had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing
