I will never forget how the man the myth the legend known as Wylan may have left Jesper before he woke up, but still made sure to get him some stroopwafels
Raven I'm curious, I heard the NRC boys tried to leave when neige and chenya defended them, did this happen
WEEEEEEEEEEELL...
... Yeah 😂 They did. They totally did. But not exactly in the way you described.
What happens is:
The crimson flowers surround the students invited to the symposium and start bringing them to their knees. The NRC kids try fighting back with magic, but it only makes the flowers more aggressive. Trein tells them to put their magical pens away, and tbe flowers take this opportunity to pounce on them—but Neige leaps to save Rook and Epel, and Chenya protects Riddle (who, in turn, was looking out for Deuce). They basically block the hits for them.
Neige says something along the lines of, “We’re all aiming to be great mages and we’re all friends from schools on the same island; why shouldn’t we help you?” (pure boi, truly) and Chenya wanted to make sure his childhood friend was safe and sound. We even get our first feral Chenya look 👀
The crimson flowers soon make the RSA boys too weak to stand, and they also go down for the count; Neige and Chenya weakly tell the NRC kids to run while they still have time.
Then Rollo appears and does his evil villain monologue, using a trap door to send the NRC boys to the waterways. From there, the boys try to avoid the flowers sapping their magic by weeding them instead of using magic to dispose of them. Then they see how fast the flowers are spreading despite their efforts and some of the boys (LMAO take a stab at which ones 😂) suggest going “every man for himself”.
That’s when Trein gets teary eyed because he thought he had taught his students better than that; how can they just abandon their peers that nobly sacrificed themselves to protect them? The honorable thing to do would be to go back and save everyone.
