Just a little comic. I headcanon that Wesker hates being called ‘Al’ (though he allows William to call him that because they’re old friends), but he hates being called ‘Bert’ even more. You either call him Wesker or Albert, there are no alternatives. (Unless you are Sherry or Chris and then you can call him ‘Albie’ in private.)

Chapter Four [Wesker]: You’ve Created A Monster
Pairing: Albert Wesker x GN!Cannibal Reader
Warnings: Discussion of chief Irons murders, viruses, your power, brief discussion of eugenics (it is Umbrella after all).
Summary: Wesker begins to think over the day he’s had what the future for you will look like.
Read On AO3 [ X ]
After locking you down in the basement for the night, Wesker made his way upstairs to the bathroom, preparing for bed. He got in the shower, washing away the remains of the day, attempting to clear his mind from everything that had been clouding it. Before he left to go get you, he had to bribe Chief Irons into allowing him to take on another S.T.A.R.S. member. It was easy to do, considering the man was already in Umbrella’s pocket, but Wesker needed to make sure the man kept his mouth shut, even with Umbrella. It was fine until the old man brought up Chris Redfield.
If Wesker had to be honest, he thought that Chief Irons was scared of the younger man, possibly even afraid that he would be the one to catch onto his ‘serial’ habits with the women of the city. That was something the Chief held dear to him, his dirty little secret. The only few that knew about it were the Chief himself, Wesker, and Birkin. As long as they all kept quiet, and the Chief cleaned up after himself, there would be no chance of anyone finding out.
But regardless, Chris Redfield had his ways of finding things out that others didn’t, going against the grain of routine and the so-called ‘way of doing things’. That was something Wesker always admired about him, maybe even saw a bit of himself in his ways. Chris may not have realized it yet, but his ability to find out the truth of things in the most egregious of ways actually made Wesker like him. Even if it was just the tiniest bit. He would be interesting to watch in this experiment, to see how he adapts in the face of a new danger and the ones that surrounded him this whole time.
He would be an excellent choice to help bring about the downfall of Umbrella.
And that was another thing that had been circulating in his mind all day. Now that he had taken you, he was another step closer to that goal, another step closer to getting what he needed to sell off the information and tools he needed to the highest bidder - even the U.S. Military. Umbrella could no longer see the true potential that these bioweapons held, since Spencer started throwing himself into a pit of despair in his old age, seeking out whatever could turn him into a god, giving him eternal life.
But after taking a look at your file, after watching you so closely, he realized that whatever could come about with the viruses, the genes had to be absolutely superior, and you proved that.
Wesker finally finished showering, turned off the water, and dried himself off before stepping out. He placed his hands on the counter, looking at himself in the mirror. You were clouding his mind again, the way you pinned him down. He’d looked through your file enough times to know you’ve done that before to other researchers - actually taking the bite out of them in the process. But he couldn’t get it out of his head that he enjoyed it and the danger you possessed.
He knew he had his work cut out for him with you. He needed to help desensitize you further to the urges, the animal-like impulse that forces you to kill. He needed you to have the ability of being up close and personal with others, without allowing it to take over. He had to come up with a plan, give you the tools on how to play the part of a normal person, just like him.
He let out a sigh and proceeded to finish getting ready for bed, making his way out of the bathroom and down the hall into the bedroom. He inspected the room before finally crawling into it, attempting to get comfortable. He wondered if you were comfortable down in the basement. He knew it wasn’t likely, but he did what he could for now. Once you began to show signs of improvement, you would be able to move up. He just thought of the move from the hard ground to the bed as an incentive.
Once you improved -
Then the real test of your strength would begin.

In May 1875, Lakota delegations headed by Red Cloud, Spotted Tail, and Lone Horn traveled to Washington in an attempt to persuade President Grant to honor existing treaties and stem the flow of miners into their lands. The Native Americans met on various occasion with Grant, Secretary of the Interior Delano, and Commissioner of Indian Affairs Smith. He told them on May 27 that Congress was ready to resolve the matter by paying the tribes $25,000 for their land and resettling them into Indian Territory. The delegates refused to sign such a treaty, with Spotted Tail saying about the proposal:
"When I was here before, the President gave me my country, and I put my stake down in a good place, and there I want to stay. … You speak of another country, but it is not my country; it does not concern me, and I want nothing to do with it. I was not born there. … If it is such a good country, you ought to send the white men now in our country there and let us alone."
Left: Sintegaleska (Spotted Tail), Sichangu Dakota Chief Right: His wife "Julia Black Lodge"
