I saw this & found it is accurate in explaining the Tao Te Ching. Usually when I run across spiritual memes, there's certain critical elements lacking even if it's a good uplifting message. : The Tao is about nature, balance & harmony. It has the same metaphorical concept in Buddhism concerning the Middle Way which is about balance of the Self between extremes. : The good & the bad are simply polarities in life. In essence, they are the same but lie at the opposite end of the spectrum. The Kybalion (metaphysics) calls this the Law of Polarity. : Even in good there is bad & there is bad in good. How is this so? Just imagine if we decide to eradicate all evil (or what we perceive as evil). Eventually that benevolent force of "Good" will only allow its ideology (school of thought) to be taught. Isn't this suppressive/oppressive of free will & free thought? Then the Good now embodies some of the bad. It depends on the viewpoint. : This is beyond the scope of IG so to put it simply, everything is in harmony. From masculine energy to feminine energy. Yin & Yang ☯. Without balance our Universe would breakdown & life wouldn't be as we know it.
