you and mansk have been working together simce the first day in your navi body, although u werent close youd always be assigned together by the colonel. mansk was a very quiet man, he never really spoke unless he needed to, he isnt shy quiet hes just focused quiet. hes always very secretive, no one really knows much about him other than his close friends. evenn though hes quiet he speaks wisely and thinks before he speaks, unlike lyle that doesnt process a word before it splats out of his mouth. you could say me and mansk were friends. but not friends like FRIENDS were like working partner type of friends and we never really spoke outside of missions and work.

youd always notice mansk staring at u in the lunch hall, you honestly kind of have something for mansk, he makes me feel weirdly comfortable, just his presence is enough to make your day a good one.

Quaritch calls u and a few other members who included mansk."listen soldiers, i think i have an idea of where jake sully might be"

lyle stared at quaritch "how so colonel?"

quaritch makes eye contact with lyle and replies to lyles question "ive got a signal hes somewhere nearby, in the area we suspected him to be in a few weeks ago which means hea probably around here somewhere, we have a mission to complete, get ready and hop onto the helicopter, ill be there waiting"

you stare at quaritch and quickly run to your room which luckily isnt too far away from the meeting room, you wnter ur room and put on some armour. you didnt change your shorts though because youd be pretty useless for this mission and youll probably be askes to stand around somewhere, u didnt change because u doubted getting hurt when ur not allowed to do anything. you clipped ur chest armour on and quickly tied ur hair into two braids.

you quickly sprinted to the veichles room which had some of the helicopters and found that everyone has already arrived, you questioned how they did it but theres no time to spare, so u hopped on and strapped yourself to a seat while your tail went back and forth because of the excitement u were experiencing, the excitement of capturing jake sully and being over wirh quaritchs dumb hide and seek game with sully.

the helicopter has been in the air for 20 minutes now, no one has spoken the entire ride and it was all silent other than the helicopter noises, quaritch broke the silence, he had to scream so you and thw others would hear him ontop of the helicopter noise "ALRIGHT, Z DOG, LYLE, ME N' JA, WERE GONNA LOOK FOR SULLY. MANSK AND Y/N STAY BEHIND AND GUARD THE HELICOPTER" mansk stared at quaritch, you didnt know if he was staring at him because of his shades but u think hes looking at quaritch, mansk lets out an amnoyed sigh, you couldnt quite hear it but u could tell it was an annoyed one.

the helicopter was finally starting to land, you were going deaf from the loud helicppter noises even with the headphone things you were given to cancel out the noise, the helicopter hit the ground with a large thud and the engines were starting to slow down, everyonr was unbuckling theit seat belts and you did the same unbuckling your own.

your the last one to leave the helicopter after mansk, you were all outside now and quaritcg repeated "Y/N and mansk stay with the helicopter and gaurd it incase some navi bitch tries to destroy it, me and the rest are gonna go looking for sully because hes around here somewhere" he said with a blank expression

you and mansk have been standing next to the helicopter for around 40 minutes and it was getting really boring you havent exchanged a word with the man next to you and your both just staring into no where

suddenly you hear a noise in the trees around u. you and mansk both jolt up holding your guns towards where the sound was coming from, after a few minutes you put your guns down thinking it was just a gust of wind

you look to your right and there was a pandorian creature sprinting at u, it had claws, claws that looked like they could decapitate an entire human head, it was speeding at you. you let put a little "uhmmm" and mansk looks your way looking at the creature speeding towards u holding up his gun. it was already too late, the creature attacked your legs with its huge claws before mansk shot him. he was teying to scratch your chest but thankfully you were wearing the armour you put on earlier. you stared at your leg, then at the dead monster, then at mansk. mansk was already rushing towards you, you stared back at your now red legs from blood. mansk leans down to where you are on the floor "are yoy okay? that looks bad" in a shaky scared voice, you reply to his question on the verdge of crying from pain "u-uhm, yeah im fine but my leg clwarly isnt" theres tears building up in your eyes now. mansk leans down to look at the huge cut caused by the monsted on ur leg.

"i should fetch the first aid kit till quaritch and the rest get back because we cant leave them here" says mansk, he hops into the helicopter and grabs the first aid kit, he leaves the helicopter again sitting on the floor next to you, he lifts ur legs onto his thighs.

he gets some iodine to clean ur wound incase it gets infected, he puta it on a little cotton pad and rubs it all over youe wound. it kind of stung but u werent gonna complain because he was trying to help you after all

he finally wraps. ur bleeding legs in white medical wrap to try and stop the bleeding. the white wraps quickly turnes into red ones from thr amount of blood yoy were losing, it was a very deep cut and you were worried it might get infected.

"thanks for helping me i really appreciate it" you said with a smile plastered across your tear stained face "we shoukd probably call the others youre bleedimg too much and jake isnt really worth letting you die, we can get him later"

he holds up his walkie talkie typa thing and says sometjing into it, your too light headed to focus of anything he says. suddenly, everything went dark

you wake up after passing out, you arent on the ground anymore, your back in the helicopter with someone holding you in their lap, you slowly open your eyes to look at whoever was holding u. you were shocked to see it was mansk, mansk always seemed like a tough guy that wouldnt help anyone if it didnt benifit him, he stared down at you and smiled

you closed your eyes hoping youd wake up from your 'dream' just to find that ur still in mansks arms wrapped tightly, the helicopted landes and you could omly tell it did because of the large thud it made, quaritch had already called the medics to wait till you arrived to prevent further bloodloss

you were wuickly rushed into the small hospital, the mediics quickly unwrapped your leg and cleaned it while another one of the human medics was getting a huge needle ready to stitvh your leg before you lost too much blood' you looked to you right and saw mansk sitting on a chair next to the bed you were layed on, they stitched up your legs which was a very painful and long process, another nurse came into the rook you were in with a blood bag of your blood type. mansk stares at you, he keeps staring for a few minutes

"sorry about not killing that monster earlier, we should have looked around a bit better, im glad your okay though"

"thanks mansk, its not your fault, we killed the monster in the end though so its okay"

mansk smiled at you, he got up from his chair and walked over to you pulling you into a long warm hug, you quite enjoyes the hug he gave you, it was out of no where though youve never seen mansk hug anyone or look at anyone in the way hes always looked at you, it made u feel a bit special because you knew it wasnt a bad type of stare

after that day you and mansk bece closer, youd always hangout. work out together, eat together, and he quickly told you more about himself, you were quite surprised he actually did it because hes never told anyone that you know any of this type of stuff about him.

it was raining outside and you were sitting next to mansk on a sofa, you were both laughing at something on your tablets (phones but theyre big so they could fit navi hands) suddenly mansk put his arm around your shoulder pulling you a bit closer to him than you expected, you stopped laughing and blushed a bit and mansk noticed it, he started rubbing your shoulder so he could see if he could make u blush any further, you stayed like this for a few minutes until mansk finally decided to speak "your enjoying than hm?"

you throw ur head down and look down onto your lap, you didnt want to show him how much you were blushing, thsn suddenly a warm hand grabs ur chin and turns it up and to the side, you try to fight back but yis grip is too strong, you find yourself staring at mansk, your faces were too close, he was repeatedly stearing at ur eyes, then your lips, your eyes, then your lips. he did this a few times until you spoke up "what are you doing?" mansk leans closer to your face waiting for premission to press your lips against his, you closed your eyes and he took it as a sign he could kiss yoy now.

he leans in and your lips touch, this was your first ever kiss, it felt bettee than what you expected it to feel like, you never thought mansk felt this way

he pulls back and hesitates for a second, then he says "i love you" staring at you with a soft facial feature, you then grab his shades and pull them off his face, youve only seen his eyes twice before this

he had the most gorgeous yelliw eyes, he looked sinilar to quaritcy but his facial features are so much softer than quaritch's.

you realize youve been staring at him for about a minute now, you hug him tightly and he hugs back, his body language telling you hes happy you gave him a positive response.

he pulls away from the hug first, "ive been meaning to tell you tjis for a while now, Y/N ive liked you for so long" i reply to his words "me too.."

Im personally not a huge Taylor fan, but my heart is acheing for her as it is acheing for the fans. Im feeling bad after all the things that is happening in my homeland with something that should be special for Taylor and the Swifties here on Brasil, especially the hate comments from her so called "fans".

Now I can understand the frustation after the concert was post poned lasting 1h to start after literally TONS of fans were waiting outside the estagium on a termic sensation of 50°C.

I get that people were waiting for literal years to see her.

I know there are hundreds of fans whom cant stay on Rio for so long because they have work to do on monday and/or cant afford another passage or an hotel room, and wont be capable to be on the concert after spending 500-1000 reais on a ticket. Sometimes even more.

I understand the frustration. The anger. I understand the pain.

I am not going to say it is not fair, because it is.

But I gotta say, it is NOT Taylor's fault.

It is not Taylor Swift who decided there would be a massive heat wave on Brasil wich literally got on historical books as the hottest day on the state of Rio de Janeiro after around 1000 yrs.

It is not Taylor's fault that a girl passed away.

It is not Taylor's fault that 1000 fans on the crew fainted because of the heat.

And I am saying this because there are really people blaming her. And these things were not on her control.

If you want a closer note to understand how precary the situation was on the first day: the termic sensation inside the Estagium reached: 62°C, what is near of 140°f. And for real, I cant fully comprehend how unwell you can get on this situation. (On my city, I felt sick with a termic sensation of 42°c. To think there were people where the termic sensation was more 20°C makes me unwell to say the least.) People were screaming asking for water, because it is not free on stagiums and events. You cant get in with a watter bottle, and it is way too expensive to buy inside.

To get worse, the air circulation inside the stagium was closed on purpose. So the fans on the streets could not see Taylor inside.

The stagium was made, designed with the air circulation in mind. There was no refrigeration or air conditionin. They basically turned the stagium into a furnace, and wouldnt even give water for free(Ik it is a law, but in this heat, after closing the air circulation????? Are they for real????) and for what? Was it worthy it? To believe much of this could have been avoided if the ones organizing it had the Basic of human decency. Maybe there wouldnt have been 1000 people who fainted and 24 on the fucking hospital....

I cant.

This makes me tear up. Im writing this crying. This is unhamun.

I really wanna believe they didnt have an idea it would be that bad, I really wanna believe they didnt think for a moment: this doesnt feel right.

That it was a somatory of bad decisions viewing only the gain that blinded people to see the basic.

But I am being optimisc, because there is no way such a huge company as it is the Tickets For Fun, there wasnt anyone on the logistics pointing out that closing the air circulation was a bad idea, that there werent anyone on the Commercial thinking even for once that selling a cup of water on such a high price on this heat wave is precary.

I just cant withstand it.

I will give here info: the majority of people on Brasil dont make more than RS2000,00 per month, converting it to dollar it is around U$420,00 per month if I am not mistaken, and the watter cup with 200ml was around R$10,00, what makes U$2,00 per cup. There were people wasting R$100,00 to R$200,00 wich converting is like U$20,00 to U$30,00 only with water in ONE DAY.

Of course, this literally screams that the majority of the crew on Rio is not on this line, but even for people who makes like R$5000,00 to 7.000,00 per month wich is U$1000,00 to U$,1500,00 is too expensive.

And you go with the with lodging, the airplane tickets that alone you spend more than R$1000,00 easily. I am not counting food, drinks, or anything.

People get in debt to see her. That is serious business.

And it makes me sick of my stomach people cant go to a concert because they cannot afford water.

Now, about yesteday's show

Taylor wanted to postpon it since she knew a girl literally died due the hot wave on Rio, while this said fan was waiting to see her performance.

But as it seems, the company Tickets For Fun(@t4f), didnt want her to do it. What I believe it happend was long hours of discussion between Taylor team and the @T4f that is why it was cancelled so late.

People believes that Taylor can postpon an International show by just saying 'im Taylor fucking Swift, I can do wathever I want" that she did it on purpose, to let her fans waiting on an infernal heat, that Taylor dont care with her fans and the fact is. She cant postpon an International show out of the blank when she signed a contract! It was terrible the fans waiting for HOURS, but there was nothing she could do.

I've seen terrible comments about her on tiktok, on Twitter. I've read terrible things people say about the fans, as it was a good thing that her fan died, as example.

And for me, ok? After someone died, 1000 fainted, there really shouldnt be more concert. I agree that it should have been earlier, unhapilly it wasnt cause of burocracy.

Everything I see, read I feel bad, terribly sad, and depressed.

Just to put it here.

It is not Taylor's fault anything that is happening on this tour. Hopefully, the rest of her staying here will be better.

The one to blame is The Tickets For Fun.

I really hope everyone there to be safe and sound. That is it.

why does dabi do this when it's like the opposite of what he would do? bc hawks was the one good thing in his life when he was younger and maybe he's sick and tired of living in misery and wants to have that back! and he has him! dabi has hawks all that's left to do is just run away with him, leave both their pasts behind, except dabi super still wants to kill endeavor on the dl but he's got a plan in place to ensure he has revenge without risking his own ass bc he doesnt wanna do that anymore! he doesnt wanna lose hawks again!!!

so dabi's like "we can forge documents! leave the country! just be entirely different people! fuck the system by abandoning it entirely!"

and hawks is like "we cant do that, you have to be high or something, right? this isn't a joke, touya, we can't last forever! one of us is going to die in the end of this war, unless you surrender or something, and we both know you wouldn't do that."

so the subject gets dropped and dabi goes back to his plan of kill endeavor and die in the process bc his happiness was never going to last, hawks said so himself. then canon happens with twice and all. so. yeah

ranking games ive played in 2023:

hi! its that time of the year where i think back on the games and shows ive done this year and rank them based on personal enjoyment :-) i didnt play a lot of games this year, since i played all of them (ok all but one of them) for longer than usual.

and, as always, thank u gifmakers for making the gifs im including here and for all the work u do 💛

7. death end re;quest (2019)

bad game. couldnt finish it. what the back of the box said is not even close to the game’s actual vibe. combat system seems interesting but the rest of the story and characters and writing and design and visuals suck so bad it tanks the whole thing.

6. guilty gear xx ^ core plus r (2012)

…ive learned i just dont enjoy playing fighting games this year. i tried so hard. i want to like them. i just dont love them enough to get thru all of the stories in this game. its fun enough to get to learn all the characters, but needing to play so many of them so well to get it all…puts this game near the bottom of the list. this is the first game in my life ive ever watched someone else do a playthrough of, because i just didnt enjoy playing it enough to do it myself

5. guilty gear strive (2021)

as mentioned i dont love fighting games HOWEVER this one ranks significantly higher because i like the training modes where you complete specific challenges, and the game's visual appealing enough to make up for how bad i am at it.

4. ys ix: monstrum nox (2021)

ive decided to make it it december tradition to play an ys game, after playing ys viii last year. i’m still not finished it (in chapter 6 at time of writing) but it’s really fun! navigating the city with each character’s powers is super fun, and as with the last game i really enjoy the combat system. theres a few twists in the game i’m REALLY excited to figure out, and the cast of characters has charmed me enough to rank this number 4

3. tales of arise: beyond the dawn (2023)

i went back and replayed the main game in preparation for the DLC, so i put about 170 hours into this this year. both the main game and the DLC have some story issues, but the DLC does a better job of getting its points across. if it werent for how much i love the top games in this list, this would be first — i'm a total sucker for the tales games, and the gameplay in this one is so fun (im a law main) that i could keep playing this game over and over again. i also really like what the DLC did with the alphen/shionne storyline, and i think nazamil is a very interesting and well-portrayed character.

2. octopath traveler ii (2023)

octopath my beloved… i was already destined to love this since the first game is one of my all time favourites, but the sequel improved on it in so many ways. the crossed path stories, the in-combat party banter, and the interaction the characters have is a huge improvement on the first. as always, its extremely fun to play, the environment is gorgeous, the characters are well written, and the soundtrack is genuinely the best game soundtrack i've ever heard (along with the first octopath's soundtrack).

1. fire emblem: three houses (2019) and fire emblem warriors: three hopes (2022)

these two get to tie because theyre functionally the same game to me, since i value the characters and story more than the gameplay. these games have spoiled me for other games what the fuck. the huge cast of well done characters all with unique skills and gameplay elements. the different versions of the story based on your house. the replayability. i played each of these THREE TIMES THROUGH this year.

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving eve hahaha 😅

I am doing okay, tired even though I had enough sleep. how are you?

I think that's what I've been buying lately, just clothes. Either new shirts or new shoes. When I was younger, I would always ask for Legos (even now) but I haven't bought a set in awhile because I never know where to display it.

Do you like presents that come from the heart then? Like something handmade?

Thats how me and my ex were. After awhile we don't know what to get each other, but I try to be creative. I remember a few years ago, I didn't know what to get her for Christmas, so I made a little coupon book that entails what we will do for the next year. All of it already planned out, like vacation, movie marathon, going to the zoo.

Yeah, I try not to overthink much. I think that's why I am back to playing video games, just so my mind can be distracted. Maybe I should start reading again.

When you work on your fics, do you already know like how it will end? And then you just brainstorm what happens in between?

I am 5'6ish...on a good day ahahahaha how about you? And I have about 8 tattoos, one of them is the size of my leg because it's a portrait of one of the first cats I've owned. I really want to get more though.

Hello hello righty eyebag! Sorry for the late reply, the little one got me busy, then i tried to write more when she was napping. N when she woke up i moved on to the chores.

Hi!

No when I said that I meant they've both done explicitly queer roles OUTSIDE of the BL genre. For Off those shows were GMM shows since he only started acting after getting into GMM. But Gun has been acting since he was a child and has done several explicitly queer roles in indie movies and some guest roles in lakorns.

Off technically only has one explicitly queer role outside of BLs, which is Chuamong Ton Mon, a 2018 lakorn about Cin who is a "cinderella" type character who gets possessed by the ghost of a gay ceo and then he helps her get her life together. In the lakorn, Off plays the role of her younger half brother Sun who is secretly working to help Cin keep their family afloat. Sun gets recruited into the dead ceo's agency as a model and ends up dating Leo's previously closeted model character Justin. It's one of the few lakorns I've watched and I honestly recommend trying it out. The main plot is quite interesting and fun and all the side characters add a lot to the show too. And OffLeo make an adorable pair.

Additionally, a lot of Off's roles are often heavily bi coded imo. Zen from Fabulous 30 and Krathing from Richy Rich being the most obvious examples. Both shows I also recommend watching if you haven't yet but maybe skip the main character's storyline in Fab30 and just do Yui and Zen bc they're the real stars of the show and the only ones that matter. Yui is also explicitly aspec and it was really good to see her and Zen negotiate how their relationship would work without physical intimacy. Even though it could have been better executed it was still a pretty big deal for that time to have an adult female aspec character who not only ends up with the guy she likes but isn't "fixed" by her romantic relationship.

As for Gun he's done soooo many roles throughout his career that I couldn't possibly give out a list. Best to just go through his mdl page for details. But his most prominent queer role before he started doing BLs was as Tam in The Blue Hour in 2015 where he co-starred with Oab. The movie was also P'Nuchie's (not me director) directorial debut. It's one of Gun's best works in my opinion. Outside of that, a lot of his roles throughout his now two decades(?) long career have been queer/queer coded but most of em are from shows and movies that I don't have access to.

And lastly! This one may be a bit controversial but technically Puppy Honey is NOT a BL but a general romcom with a mlm ship. So their entry into BLs wasn't even through an actual BL. BLs were just so scarce at the time, in comparison, that non BL mlm ships like PickRome and PeteKao and even InSun from Edge of 17 got lumped into BLs and eventually got their own "BL show" through Our Skyy and for PeteKao DBK as well. (Although since PeteKao came from a bl novel idk if they're the best example here, but oh well.)

So yeah! Even though this will likely be their last proper BL I wouldn't say there's no chance of seeing either of them in queer roles again, whether individually or (maybe) together.

genuinely so upset bc my prime teen-concert-going-days have been stolen by covid. it came around when I had just turned sixteen and now I'm turning 18 this November. I went to a concert last week and it was genuinely euphoric. and reading about how it's different when you're older is so depressing. It makes sense, too. Like going to some random small show as a twenty year old even sounds so different from going at eighteen and younger. I keep thinking of the concert I went to last week and how it is now in my Box Of Favorite Memories in my head and it's so bittersweet because it feels like I'm running out of time to have more of that experience. Like, being at the barrier and in the pit and hearing live music again and the artists being so fun was awesome but I keep thinking about how like everyone there was around my age, there were like no twenty-something year olds and if so they were still like college students. All the older people were standing in the back or by the bar like nodding along and shit. Anyways, I know I still have plenty of time, i'm only about to turn eighteen, but it just sucks that I missed two whole years of Being A Teenager that I'll never get back. I went to plenty of concerts before covid and I always wanted to be older then lol, it felt like everyone was a cool college student or something and I was a freshman in high school, and now I feel the opposite. anyways yeah fuck growing up it's stupid and i hate society and how it treats adults.

yea ok heres a very long letter 2 u

i would not view things that way though. i had extremely controlling parents and was not able to go many places in high school and then in college i didnt have consistent access to a car and my parents sort of coerced me into going to school in iowa when i didnt want to and i felt really trapped and miserable.

the whole time i was in college and high school i had this horrible anxiety about being an "adult" because it was supposedly so terrible and this was supposedly the happiest id ever be and i was so miserable. i didnt fit in anywhere in iowa and i didnt get along with my family and i just wanted to die all the time. i ate lunch in the bathroom or library for most of high school and i got bullied so bad people came to my house, the police got involved, and people got banned from my work. i had to hang out with the same people that like, stole my phone so girls could pee on my toothbrush because iowa was so small there werent really a lot of other people to hang out with that didnt know those people.

the worst part was just the anxiety that this was the best life had to offer and i was miserable. eventually i got to college and i started to dip my toe into being kind of a groupie and doing band interviews but i felt like i was getting too old at 19 or whatever and there was no point. even on trips i was so stressed i wasnt enjoying them enough or documenting them enough

i was legitimately the most suicidal i have ever been when i turned 21 and covid hit because every adult in my life had spent so much time telling me this was the best period of my life and i was so stressed and anxious all the time and then two years of it were suddenly just going to be spent in a room staring at a screen. i seriously thought about killing myself pretty much every day in summer 2020 because i was working at a grocery store, my parents were claiming me as a dependent so i didnt get any benefits but they were expecting me to work that job because it was the christian chain my mother worked at, no one would interact with me because i worked at a grocery store, i lived alone, and i was doing a horrible unpaid internship and it took me like an hour to get home from work because of the protests. when the burger thing happened basically every band i liked imploded and it felt like the literal actual end of the world.

now im almost 23 and im in a position where im able to start to possibly tour, which i never thought was possible, and have worked with around 150 bands and ive done things like cover shows in an abandoned shopping mall. and like, i was definitely one of the oldest people at that show but every 17 year old there thought i was the coolest person ever and some teeenage girl zoom called me from PAKISTAN because she was in love with the guys in that band and wanted to know how i knew them and if i was friends with them.

i was able to move to a major city and i just have so much freedom and theres a ton of opportunities and fun things about the world. i moved in with someone i met at a concert when i was 17 and we do stuff like color and make friendship bracelets and do face masks and cook.

im a waitress and do freelance so dont have some fantastic career, but now i can buy thrifted clothes and drugstore makeup and the snacks i like without my mom going through my bank statement and berating me for wasting money. i go to bed at 2am and wake up at 11am because i can build my schedule around being a night person. for the first time ever i get to eat what i want when i want and shower when i want and buy what i want at the grocery store.

i am kind of a workaholic because of how i was raised but i work full time and i can pay my bills and have time for the zine still and im starting to get cool opportunities with that. i didnt even start it until i was 19 and i didnt get serious until i was almost 22. when i was 19 i felt like there was no point because i was too old and i regret not using that time to work more seriously but i dont think i was ready for that. im really happy as an adult in a way i never was as a kid.

like i saw fall out boy dead sober when i was 15 or 16 and it was all i talked about for months. the show was really exciting but mostly all i remember is anxiety about getting pictures and getting front row and being so stressed about it being perfect. i was bedridden and crying afterwards because i was so sad it was over and i wouldnt get to go to another concert for like a year or two. but i can do whatever i want whenever i want now so i dont feel those intense negative emotions during social stuff

like i know it sounds like the magic of the world is gone, and i think theres an idealism you have as a teenager that goes away, but i really prefer how i experience the world now and it just feels completely new and bright and full of opportunities as opposed to constantly being on a time limit of "growing up."

also your music taste changes as you get older and there will be older people at shows, lol. you probably just went to a "teenybopper" concert (no offense). lots of shows are 21+ or geared towards an older audience.

also, a lot of the really hard hitters in music like pete and gerard did not get started until they were 23 or so because you need to be older and have more experience. theres lots of people who started young but imo the people who really start something are often older than 16 because of the life experience

ten has unofficially adopted her whether people like it or not

he has fought with taeyong and doyoung about it she is his baby

if mark and johnny are his brothers, mae is basically his younger sister

if you look at his photo gallery he has a folder dedicated to mae and mae only

any photo or video of them together is basically ten clinging to her like a koala

he looks at her like she put all the stars in the sky but the same goes for mae

she has admitted in an interview that ten is one of her role models because of his talent and work ethic

whenever she needs help with dancing he’s one of the first people she asks

xiaojun once asked him who’s his favorite between yangyang and mae and you could see him malfunction for like six seconds before jokingly scolding him

one time mae complained about how her feet hurt from the heels she was wearing so he just picked her up bridal style and walked to the van without a word

They’ve heard abt each other from Kun and ten and greeted each other when they passed by each other in the halls but they never really had a chance to grow close until nct 2020 happened

Mae wasn’t in the Make a Wish unit so there weren’t a lot of chances to get to know each other while promoting either but it doesn’t mean they’re not friends

ten also hogs her attention when she visits the wayv dorms but we dont talk about that

these two arent as close as the others but not to the point where they actively avoid each other

whenever they’re together they just vibe

you softly clapped your hands then positioned your chopsticks but you paused, head turning to kyo

you delicately placed a hand on his arm which gave you his attention and you raised a piece of the egg dish

you offered and he shook his head but you pouted at him making him sigh then open his mouth

now you were no gorgon ramsai im cackling sorry but you could cook since your mother believed that you werent a girl unless you knew how to cook

his eyes were shining as he chewed and you giggled before holding up another piece which he quickly snatched up

the next day, you waited for him at your class and when you caught sight of him walking from your class window, you bounced up in your seat, startling kindaichi from eating his noodles

when he opened it, he lifted the first container and saw what was hiding at the very bottom shelf

instead, you tried to hold his hand, ignoring the flinching, but gently held it and brought it up to rest on top of where your heart would be

the third years: mattsun, makki, iwa, and oiks were walking down the hallway when again, someone peaked out the window and saw you and kyo by the shade and you were perfectly angled so they could see the two of you

you were pressed against the wall while kyo was hovering over you with an arm beside your head while his hand was caressing your hip

makki let out a chortled scream that caught the attention of the others and he pointed at you two wordlessly

omg WAS KYOTANI SMILING

they watched as kyo smiled then teased you by kissing your nose, then your cheeks

‘kyo, kiss me right!’

you whined but giggled

kyotani had a teasing smirk but continued kissing you everywhere but where you wanted

‘hm? here? or here?’

right below your ear was your ticklish spot and he knew that so his kisses there tickled you and sent you on a giggling spree

‘kyo~~~!’

finally, he relented and gave you a sweet, yet passionate kiss that always managed to leave you breathless

that was when oikawa went on a rampage

well, he waited until classes were over but during practice, oh girl he went on a rampage

‘Y/N, KYOTANI!’

everyone knew he was serious when he didnt call them with those ridiculous nicknames

ngl you were scared too but kyo just glared at him

‘what’

he grumbled but you instinctively placed a hand on his arm

‘are you dating now, y/n, kyotani?’

iwa gently asked but oikawa was being oikawa

oikawa glared at you then pouted

‘OUT OF EVERYONE HERE, YOU CHOOSE THE DOG?!’

everyone gave each other nervous looks bc they kinda expected this but oikawa asking it like that made them sweat

they expected kyo to blow up but it was you who glared at oikawa, standing protectively in front of kyo

‘and what about it?’

you hissed and oikawa jumped, a hand over his heart

‘REALLY, Y/N-CHAN?! HIM?!’

‘yea and whats the problem with it? how is it your business? why do i need to validate my feelings for him? who do you think you are?’

oml kyo had to drag you out of there bc you were seriously about to fight oikawa for even having the NERVE to say that to you

like kyo held you up with his arms under your armpits as you were kicking the air and wanting to go back in there

‘no! let me go! kyo! i will hit him! come on! baby please!’

you whined and continued kicking

as much as kyo wanted to see you violently hit oikawa, he knew you would feel bad about it later and be guilty for hurting your captain

‘puppy, please. youre too angry right now and i will not sit there and listen to you whine and be sad that you hit oikawa tonight’

you hmphed and crossed your arms

he finally set you down but he wrapped his arms around you from behind and he placed a kiss on your cheek

‘but im really happy though. im really happy that you would fight for me’

but you stayed mad, pouting and looking away with your arms crossed

it was a cute sight honestly

‘of course i would. i would fight anyone who says stuff about you because i love you’

you ranted, just realizing what you said when you finished

no one has exactly said the ‘L’ word yet so you were partly scared that you said it

but kyo laughed then kissed your neck affectionately

‘i love you too, but my puppy is a nice, gentle, kind, little angel’

every compliment earned you a kiss and your tough and angry act finally slipped and you were giggling in his arms

‘yanno, if someone were to see you like this, they would think youre an impostor’

you commented in between giving him little pecks

he shrugged

‘meh. i dont care. i have you so i dont really care what they say about me. but now about you on the other hand-’

you slapped him on the chest

‘you hypocrite! youd fight someone for me but not me fighting someone for you?! how mean!’

you faked a look of surprise but he silenced you with a last kiss

‘youre so cute, y/n. my baby’

the team was a little bit in shambles while you two were away with the third years basically crying and pouting but they really did see this coming so no one was genuinely surprised, even oikawa

‘she really picked him, huh?’

iwa mumbled, a sad smile on his face as if he was just realizing it now

it was something they shouldve easily seen coming and accepted as kyo was so different around you and you treated him so much more than the rest

but why did it hurt so much?

as i mentioned before, they were all really hurting though because in a way, you were their first love

but they wish you to be happy and for kyotani to treat you right because you deserved the universe and more

so basically, from my estimation, the timeskip is about 9 years after the third years graduate

so you are like 25 while kyo is 26

lets say you got a job as an editor alongside some guy named akaashi keiji while kyo was still playing volleyball

you got,,,, married quite early like tanaka and kiyoko and you have some minis running around

god decided to give you twins as children like a year after yall wed and currently, you were,,,, having another one??

ehehehe this part made my heart balloon up

imma make it so that kyo actually went to see the olympics with you and your kids are like 3 and theyre actually volleyball fans due to the influence of their uncles and father and partly you

it was easy to get tickets bc iwa literally works for the team and tooru is literally a player and they really wanted to see their godchildren

ngl the team was salty bc you picked them two as godfathers but next time, theyre making you pick out of a hat for your future child

so here you were, each parent carrying a child, lets say the girl is naomi while the boy is naoki, and the girl was wearing a mini argentina oikawa jersey that he specially got for his goddaughter while iwa got naoki a mini kageyama jersey just to spite oikawa

they each were wiggling in excitement to see their uncles and omg imma switch it again that the whole seijoh team is literally there like the og gang is there and watching the olympics

naoki and naomi were excitedly looking around at the unfamiliar faces and kyo was laughing when naomi tugged his collar when she saw her godfather’s picture upclose

‘papa! its kawa! kawa!’

she giggled and he ruffled her mini pigtails

‘it is, isnt it, mimi-chan’

while your son was calmly in your arms, you watched your husband and child interact with each other and her giggling as he tickled her nose

‘y/n-chan! kyoken!’

a familiar shout from only one person made you turn and see oikawa with the others at the back

of course he was huddled in a jacket to not attract attention but the og seijoh volleyball team was back together after so many years apart

‘kawa! hi!!’

naomi wiggled and she told her dad to let her down so she could run up to oikawa who was a few feet away

naoki also caught sight of his idol and you let him run after his sister but crash into the strong arms of iwaizumi

‘hello zumi’

naoki mumbled

‘hey little man! how are you?’

you gave everyone hugs and went to go to a restaurnt nearby to be away from the chaos of the people and kyo could tell you were getting tired standing

he helped you sit on a chair but you kept on grumbling to him

‘kenta, ive been pregnant before, with two! im fine, okay? so stop worrying’

kyo scrunched his nose but flicked your forehead

‘of course i have to worry. you have a literal human being inside of you’

‘well-’

but he used his hand to scrunch your cheeks to prevent you from speaking

‘what? hm, what was it, doll?’

the team gagged

‘seriously! we suffered 3 years of this already! stop it!!’

kindaichi whined

you stuck your tongue out at him and everyone got settled on their seats before ordering their food

the children were being entertained by the others and you were giggling at the antics of your friends

‘honestly, you all are nearly 30 yet you still act like children’

you scolded but had a smile on your lips to show you were actually teasing

‘and you act like youre 50 just because youre married with kids’

kunimi countered with his tongue out

you gasped before trying to reach over the table and snatch the tongue out of his mouth

‘come here you litte-’

but kyo gently sat you back down with a stiff smile

‘baby, doll, darling, love, i swear you forget youre not 18 anymore. please youre gonna send your husband to an early grave if you keep acting like this’

he whined, fake crying and the team was so shocked to see him still acting like this

‘oh my god, y/n-chan, how did you ever get kyoken-chan to be like this? did you brainwash him?’

oikawa mumbled

‘papa dont cry’

naoki tried to reach over the table from iwa’s arms to his father who he thought was really crying

yahaba shook watari in cuteness and mattsun turned to makki

‘can we get one?’

makki scoffed and hit him but still laughed

‘papa is worried that mama will hurt your baby brother, nao-kun’

kindaichi choked on his drink while oikawa screeched, holding naomi tighter

‘BROTHER?! ITS A BOY?!’

the guests in the restaurant were startled by the shriek from the argentina player and you gave kyotani a betrayed look

‘urusai, oikawa!’

kyotani snarled, face turning red at his blunder

‘CAN I BE GODFATHER THIS TIME?!’

‘YAHABA YOU IDIOT! ITS ME!’

‘WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! YOU SHUT UP MATSUKAWA! ITS ME!’

‘OIKAWA YOU GREEDY LITTLE BIT-!’

‘SHUT UP OR I SWEAR TO GOD!’

you slammed your hands on the table, on your feet and glaring down at the men

naoki and naomi were already used to their mother yelling at uncle mattsun and uncle makki so they were snickering at their uncles terrified face

‘mama, they scared’

naoki commented, fiddling with iwa’s jacket zipper

‘its like y/n-chan and kyoken-chan switched personalities or something’

oikawa muttered, still looking wide-eyed at you

‘that’s it. kenta, hold my purse-!’

‘BABY, WHAT-!’

oh my god it was a sight to see

you have this <6 feet professional olympic volleyball player being hit by a pregnant short woman with her shoe and a bleach-blonde man trying to hold her hands so she alternated to kicking

‘y/n-chan! wait!’

‘nearly a decade later and 2 children later, y/n-chan still knows how to hit’

watari watched with a fond smile, reminiscing their old volleyball times

‘will y/n-chan be okay?’

yahaba worriedly asked but naomi gave him a smile that was a copy/paste of her father’s

‘no, uncle baba. its if kawa would be okay’

while everyone else laughed,

oikawa screamed

AND THATS A WRAP! if its not what you guys wanted, not gonna lie, i was even hesitant to write this part because as much as i love kyo, hes quite a hard character to understand and write for, but i didnt want him to be the typical brute caveman child, instead i wanted this to be like him showcasing that hes not just a screaming man but hes a scared boy whos awkward and doesnt know how to express himself. also, its not canon in the manga or the anime, but i put that he was in the foster system and they werent,,, nice,,,, so thats why he knew first aid bc he had to do it on himself and why he was so calm about her getting hurt and treating her. but thank you for reading this one and im about to write an iwa and an oikawa so expect that in the future!!!
