I was wondering if I could request a Dean Winchester x Male hunter reader who looks like and has skills like a gunslinger, what if he saves Dean from a vamp or laviathin? Your choice, with what looks to be an old western revolver (it's not the Colt!)

[ Warnings : Blood, guns, knives, violence, a corpse, a dead werewolf, awkward Dean and reader]

Author's Note : I decided to go with a werewolf instead of a vamp/leviathan so that the reader can shoot the gun, because vamps can only be beheaded similar to leviathan's... If that makes sense? I hope that's okay!

Summary: You find Sam and Dean during one of your hunts and save Dean from a werewolf's grasp.

The luminous glow from the moon gleamed down onto the dusky alley, lighting your way as you walked.

You saw the blood first, the walls and floor both drenched in crimson. You sigh, hand held on tightly to the grip of your revolver and carefully make your way around the mess in front of you, following the trail of blood smeared across the concrete.

You pause mid step, eyes falling to the corpse that lay on the ground and approach slowly, kneeling down beside the girl. Your eyes scan over her bruised and bloody body, stopping at her chest. "Her heart is missing." You whisper to yourself.

Turning, you quickly raise your weapon, aiming at the warehouse door that just slammed shut. You take a quick glance around the alley, before heading for said door. You press on the metal bar lightly, making your way into the building and closing the door quietly behind you.

You stand still for a moment, listening carefully. Hoping to hear any clues before you venture into the unknown. "Sammy!" You raise your eyebrow at the panicked voice and hurry through the building following the sound of the commotion. You raise your silver knife, slashing forwards and sending the creature stumbling away from its prey in pain. You draw your revolver, shooting two silver rounds straight into the werewolf's heart. The man stands, rushing over to his partner and helping him up from the ground. He checks him over, making sure he's not hurt. He doesn't expect you to be so swift at shooting the gun from his hand.

"What the hell?" He shouts, this time reaching for his knife.

"You had a gun aimed at me." You state. "I wouldn't reach for that." You hold your revolver up, aiming it straight at the man's hand. "Wouldn't want to accidentally hit you."

"Dean. Don't."

"He nearly shot me Sam!" Dean replies, moving his hand away from his knife.

"Because you aimed your gun at him!" Sam hissed, glaring daggers at Dean.

"I don't bite." You say, reverse spinning your revolver between your fingers and placing it back into its holster. "Not like that- tried to do to you." You motion towards the werewolf.

"You from the 1860s or something?" Dean questions, eyeing your revolver. You chuckle, shaking your head from left to right. "Some uh- nice skills you got there." He coughs awkwardly.

"Thank you. Dean." You turn your attention to the younger man. "Sam, was it?" He nods. "Are you guys... Partners, or something?"

"Oh, god no!" Dean splutters. "He's my damn brother."

"Thats... Not- what I meant." You smile, slightly embarrassed.

"We should get out of here." Sam says. "Before you two make this anymore awkward than it already is." You laugh, looking down at your boots.

"Lead the way."

Can I ask how do you deal with hurtful comments on your fanfics from someone you consider a friend? Like I know if some stranger send hurtful comments it felt bad but damn when someone you know said the same thing it felt worse. Early this year I was kicked out and blocked from an animanga lover group when they find out that I wrote mlm fanfics from major shounen series (naruto,bnha, aot, jjk). This what they said :

“I'm convinced you must have never had friends before because all of these relationships are perfect depictions of what PLATONIC friendship is. If you want a gay story support ACTUAL gay couples like in BL & GL manga. Do you know how frustrating it is to see people move mountains for a non canon ship that’ll never happen then ignore actual gay manga’s and anime’s in BL & GL anime/manga...."

What do you think? Even until now, I'm still feeling a bit guilty for liking non canon mlm and wlw ships from shounen series. But when I found your blog and read your posts, I felt way better. Especially that answer of yours to anon who asked is it weird to love mlm& wlw more than wlm. Thanks for sharing your hard work (analysis, fanfics, arts, reviews).

Sorry for my rants and for my weird feelings.....

Ohhhh this is so precious please don't apologize for sending me this ask, I love feelings and hearing about other peoples' experiences with them and how my art/accounts have somehow been relatable because of that.

The peer pressure in fandoms is absolutely insane and convinces me that the social aspect works the same as any high school full of bullies. There WILL be mean girls, there WILL be cliques, and if you're a creator like me, you're going to be a MAGNET for like ten different types of them.

As for how I deal with hurtful comments, I was raised in an environment that constantly shamed me. I was controlled from all sides on what I could draw, write, and consume, so I'm used to being shunned by those who "love" me because of what I'm interested in! Because of this, the hate comments were what I EXPECTED going in and the positive comments were actually the things that threw me for loops. Hurtful comments only had the power to nag at me when I didn't have an audience (or friends) to bounce them off of so they wouldn't keep popping up as a "do I actually do this, though?" "am I actually bad for this?". But now they don't bother me; they give me the chance to either make a troll reply or spice up my friends' group chat for the day.

As far as a FRIEND leaving a hurtful comment??? I have so much sympathy for you. I am SO sorry they treated you that way.

When I make friends, I tell them openly what I do and to what extent. This way, I gather the type of people I want and push away those who don't. If they think it's not okay, they're silly.

Those friends who kicked you out of their little club? SILLY. They think they're so pure and moral for gatekeeping what can and can't be done with creativity and passion. They won't ever know what it feels like to live as freely as you do. In the end, their opinion is an opinion that is largely not shared by the logical, rational public. Any professional in the art/film/writing industry can tell you that much. How else are we supposed to make stories? Have a little IMAGINATION!! DAMN!

I'm saying a lot of this because it's the best thing to tell yourself when you read things that are clearly meant to make you feel shame when you haven't done a single thing wrong. Since this is Tumblr and I can ramble to my heart's content, maybe it'll help you if I also point out the specific tools that have been used in that message they sent you. Sometimes a good breakdown of tactics is all it takes to remind yourself you're not in the wrong.

"I'm convinced you must have never had friends before" AKA "you're so ignorant" - invalidating your experiences to crumble any foundation you might've had to stand on if you wanted to argue back. Starting off with this helps them cut you down so your self-esteem is lowered.

"these relationships are perfect depictions of what PLATONIC friendship is" - their opinion is being stated here as a fact, as if the entire world agrees with them and there's no other way to see it. First of all, this means NOTHING to the shipping world, since it exists largely to turn friendships into romances. Idk what they wanted to do with that one.

"If you want a gay story support ACTUAL gay couples like in BL & GL manga" - I'm not sure what kind of burn that is. SUPPORT ACTUAL GAY COUPLES LIKE THE REST OF US!! Okay snuffledumpkins. Guess nobody taught them how to MULTITASK!!! GUESS WHAT? I CAN SUPPORT ACTUAL GAY COUPLES *AND* NON-CANON GAY COUPLES, FREAK! WHAT NOW, HUH??? Being serious though, this is an attempt to define for YOU what ''''''true gay couples'''''' are (ACCORDING TO THEM), when this is an entirely fluid meaning and can be applied to whomever you'd like in fiction. This is THE PURPOSE OF FANFICTION.

Here's the biggest thing to remember: they don't give a fuck about the cause. They are using that language as a way to shame you. Oh you think these friends are in love??? You must not support LGBT people in real life. You must not support ACTUAL stories about ACTUAL gay people.

The logic jump is LAUGHABLE.

Ughhhh, what a long rant from me. But your last paragraph absolutely WARMED my heart, minus the part about feeling guilty. i kind of really want to play this powerwashing game???

powerwash simulator is great! i've had it since it was in early access, and what you saw in the dnp video is what you get: jobs in various sizes and durations, you buy better nozzles and cleaners as you go to help you tackle the big ones (they get a lot bigger than the garden), and repeat. you can also do two-player on career, which helps a lot on the big missions if you have a friend to play with.

why i would rec this specifically for dnp mutuals: it's perfect to play while watching youtube videos. the bigger projects are long, but you don't have to listen anything to do them, and you can pause whenever you want to look at the screen.

also there's background lore! the cat that appeared in the video is part of it. but you can completely ignore it if you don't care

Sadly the poor husky pup that was killed didn’t even have a human family to speak of. It was one of several that had been dumped in the area. Animal control had been trying to round them all up, but Amber Rose (she deserves to be named and shamed) slaughtered that one before they could save it. This was a dog that had been mistreated by humans before, and tragically met its end by a cruel, ignorant human that shouldn’t even own a gun or have a hunting license. She didn’t offer mercy to this poor abused dog. Instead, she violently and callously took its life without any sort of regard for what it had been through. May this woman suffer what she put that dog through tenfold when her time comes.

Well this just keeps getting worse and worse doesn’t it.

That one Anon back at it again with more thoughts about the handsome fella who deserves the world and a kiss on the cheek. Hope to give you some motivation for your lovely work :)

1. An employee taking off their headgear and Justice getting all giddy from finally seeing a proper human face, after so long! It slowly reaching in to feel their head, because of how soft they always are.

2. Justice daydreaming about a nice future with its buddies, as it watches them sleep. Wouldn't it be nice to return to that life within a proper home for all of them, no more tacky suits, plenty of space, and an actual kitchen?

3. A scenario where Justice comes to realise the gravity of the situation, overhearing the employees talk of the consequences of not meeting quota and the fear for their lives. Already troubled by the loneliness of Dine, it causes a snowballing desperation. It can't go back to that!

There has to be more scrap, than what the employees typically collect, right? If it takes out those turrets, that's extra. If even tattered sheet metal is worth something, how about Justice tears some more off the moon bunkers' interiors? Perhaps, even those enemy nutcracker parts are worth a pretty penny.

But what if they come just short, after already selling all they had? Then, it can... rip out an arm of its own? Whatever keeps them alive for just a few more days...

Justice considering the possibility of if one could override the ship's systems, removing it from Company control, and escaping this hellish job.

And what if an employee dies? Would Justice be in denial, trying to wake them up, retrieve them, or tend to the fatal injuries, or would it understand right away?

4. Ending it sweetly: Justice may or may not understand human relationships, but knows an engagement ring is a great sign of love and trust. It finds one and presents it to its master. And they're keeping it! Never giving it to the Company!

At this rate, I may as well ask you permission to have Justice's hand in marriage.

AND um this um this ¿¿???? like, first, I still believe Justice doesn't understand human emotions 100%,, but it can sense the tension and dread setting in as time progresses, this is kind of an unlucky week,, so it will do whatever to aliviate the crew's load. From risking it staying just a bit overtime (Careful with the hounds D:) to taking extreme measures and trying to sell its precious rifle,,

And ofc the arm thing :o like, being semi-biological it could theoretically replace it with another one... but this also means it will hurt.. a bit too much;; anything for the well-being of the team

bonus:

and well, death is a pretty complicated topic. It does understand the concept of death, it has witnessed it and has even been the cause of it,, but the difference is in lacking the proper knowledge as to what death really means... If it were to happen to one of its teammates it will first try to do whatever in its power to try to remmediate the situation,, in a state of pure panic like, trying to resusitate them, carrying them to safety or looking for help;;, once it realizes nothing can be made you can only imagine the unbridled rage it will feel. This being one of the only times it has been seen showing this emotion aaaaaaaa

(I can speak more but I don't want to make this too long hhsfhhfhfh)

4. YESS YESS i mean, human relationships have kinda always been present in its life, to taking care of a family to seeing its crewmates interact. This doesn't mean it is that well-versed in the subject, But just finding this shiny object on one of their excursions and thinkign it is really beautiful,, it has already seen something like this before, people gift it to each other as a sign of loyalty and total devotion so someone special in their lives! This made it immediately drop whatever it was doing at the time and go out looking for its master, finally finding them on one of the many corridors of the structure,, dropping on one knee (it guesses this is the proper way to do it??) and giving them the ring AHJSHHSD omg brainrot
