The sun was not down yet when you entered the 79’s. The place was crowded as usual, people coming and going from all sides of the room, drinking, talking, and dancing like the night was already theirs. You looked around to find the 501st boys. Jesse had invited you earlier that day to join them in their post-mission party, and you gladly accepted. You really needed a break from work.

As you walked toward the bar, a clone met your gaze. You recognised the small number five tattooed on his temple.

“Hey! I was looking for one of you; Jesse invite-“

“Yeah, he told us, come on.”

He moved his hand to let you walk in front of him, guiding you toward the table they had settled to while holding his drink in hand. You nodded with a smile, greeting them with a “gentlemen” as you sat down next to them.

“I think you got the wrong seat, princess.”

You tilted your head up, catching Jesse’s eyes as he pointed to the seat you had just taken.

“Mind if I take it back?”

“That’s not very gentleman of you,” you teased him as you got up, “but yes you can.”

“Or maybe it’s because I can make a better offer to you.”

He got really close for a second, slowly sliding between you and the table to sit, slightly brushing against you in the process. Once he was seated, he turned to you, hands gently tapping his lap before opening toward you.

“You can use this one. It may suit you more.”

You tried to ignore the whistles and chuckles as you turned around, letting him grab you by the waist to sit you on his legs. He loosely wrapped an arm around your waist, muttered a “better, right?” to your ear and offered you a glass to drink with them.

Yes, it was better. You couldn’t say that out loud though. You took a sip from the drink he had given you; a pink and quite thick texture that tasted like sweets. You tried to catch up with the conversation you had missed, but felt like they were forcing themselves to speak about everything but the things they really wanted to talk about.

“Alright, spit it out,” you smirked. “What is it you’re trying to hide from me?”

They exchanged a look before turning to you. Until you figured they were turning to Jesse.

“I’m not hiding anything, they just don’t know how to act around a pretty girl like you.”

“What Jesse means,” Fives corrected, “is that he asked us to be polite and decent while you were here.”

You couldn’t see it, but if looks could kill, Fives would have been a dead man by now. He wore a proud smile when his eyes switched slightly next to your head, before coming back to you.

“I mean…decent is for work, right? I’m here to have some fun tonight!” you encouraged him.

“You don’t know what you got yourself into…” Jesse whispered to your ear, his warm breath tickling your skin. You couldn’t help the light shiver running through your back, which gave him a reason to hold you closer to his chest. Without the armour it was easier to feel his warmth.

The boys relaxed a bit and started talking about their plans for the night. Fives hoped to find someone to dance with; Echo corrected him with a “no, to make out with”, and Fives shrugged it off with a “same thing, different wording” before shoving a shot down his throat, under Dogma’s desperate look.

You were quite surprised to see him here; he was not the kind to play flexible with rules. But hey, everyone needs a break from time to time, you thought to yourself.

“So, tell us a bit about yourself,” Echo asked you, “because we don’t know much apart from your name and work, right?”

“Yeah, well what could I say?” you thought about it for a second, stirring the straw in your glass. “I like music, and dancing. I wish I had a tattoo, and I…I don’t know, purple’s my favourite colour?” you chuckled.

“You like dancing? Like party dancing or…?” said Kix.

“Yeah, party dancing. I just like it when I can move along to a good song. And possibly dance with people, it’s always funnier.” You nodded.

“Jesse is a pretty good dancer,” Fives casually told you, “but he doesn’t have much occasions to show it off.”

You turned your head to look at Jesse’s eyes, a smile painted on your face. He tried to shake his head, to brush the comment off with an “I don’t really dance a lot, I just did once for a mission and-” but he stopped halfway. The look you were giving him was clearly not helping. He could see how much you wanted to drag him on the dance floor, and the boys were not exactly keeping it shut.

“Go ahead Jesse, show the lady how you do it.” Echo encouraged him.

“You got some nice moves in stock, right?” Fives nodded, followed by an enthusiastic “Of course he does!” from Kix.

“If you don’t let her have fun, then someone else will.” Dogma warned him.

"That wouldn't be polite of you to refuse." You concluded, not even trying to hide your triumphant stare.

He had to admit defeat, he knew there was no way of escaping it.

“Well, if the lady would like to get up so I could show her some of my…moves.” He closed his eyes at the last word, trying to brush off the double meaning his sentence had; though he found it quite funny. You obeyed, throwing a thankful look to the boys as Jesse took your hand to take you to dance.

“If he doesn’t kiss her tonight, I will be disappointed.” Dogma sipped from his drink, unshakeable.

“You should really stop drinking, you’re scary when you’re not yourself.” Fives giggled.

You were pleasingly surprised to see that Jesse indeed had some good moves. You thought the boys were mostly trying to push him away with you so you could have this intimate moment – as intimate as dancing in a crowed 79s at night could be – but he knew how to use that body to his best advantage. And he was an amazing dance partner, too; making you twirl at the tip of his hand, bringing you closer, hands barely brushing along your dress, from ribs to waist, keeping you between his ghostly embrace as you were slowly moving your hips, lowering yourself a bit, coming back up; a genuine smile embellishing your face.

He was truly captivated by you. His eyes never once left your body, scanning it every time you would turn round, or bend toward him when he would bend backward before switching roles; when your dress was gently brushing the naked skin of your legs, and he had to look away because he wanted it to be a surprise, something you would purposefully share with him. But he stole glances, and smiles, and maybe even your heart.

“Afraid to come closer, trooper?” you teased him, the heat of alcohol and of your dances consuming your body, your breath shortened by all your movements.

“Not at all, princess.”

He just wanted you to ask, to show him you craved his touch, his presence; and once you did he could not let you go anymore. Your arm, your hands, your waist; any part of your body was a place to rest against, to skim over with the tip of his fingers; a touch so light het so intense it always gave you a reason to shiver.

You almost tripped on your feet when he buried his face on the crook of your neck, his breath heavy and warm, his lips touching you oh so softly, just enough to let you know he was there, he was capable of more. He did not kiss you, enjoying the tease a bit too much to give away so easily. His voice came to your ear like a drug.

“Want a drink?”

You barely nodded; that was all you could do, weakened by his – almost – embrace, by the way he remained there for a second, savoring the effect he had on you, and maker did he had one. You didn’t know how to react when he let go of your neck and your waist, walking to the bar with a smirk, leaving you frozen between the intoxicated dancers and the loud music bumping in your chest.

After a second – because you needed one to get your ideas straight – you decided to join him. You already missed him, the fleeting pinch of your heart when he was grasping you, the burning heat in your belly when he was whispering in your ear, the dilated pupils staring hungrily at you each time you were coming closer to him and moving your hips a bit slower.

“There,” he pushed a glass filled with a purplish liquid toward you, “Mind if we share?”

“We’ll have to share the straw too.” You smugly smiled.

“Works for me.”

He watched you take the first sip, and something about you not breaking eye-contact while doing so sent a shock wave through his body. You were…irresistible. He caught himself wondering about the sensation of your lips against his, of the taste you would have; would it be sweet, with a soft undertone of alcohol?

“Or maybe I could have a taste without using that straw, what do you think?”

His voice was huskier, his stare incandescent. You couldn’t help it, the tease was too much to handle.

“I think,” you took another sip then slowly pushed the glass away, “you could give it a try.”

He let out a faint whisper as he grabbed your dress around your waist, pulling you practically against his body, crushing his lips against yours. He tasted them, feverishly, sliding his tongue against them to not miss on anything; one of his hand skilfully coming back up your neck to keep you there. You knees were shaking a bit, your heart pounding so hard it could beat for the two of you; and the need you could feel in his kiss convinced you to come back for more.

He let out a “sweet” against your mouth, and you couldn’t tell if he was talking about the drink or you. He knew he meant both, though he preferred the second option.

You had to break the kiss to breathe a bit, and he pressed his forehead against yours as you did.

“Let’s get out of here.” You muttered, and he softly smiled, approving of the idea.

You wrapped yourself in his arm, head partly resting on his chest as you walked toward the door. You quivered when the cold air licked the naked skin of your legs and arms, sliding between your back and the colourful tissue. Jesse told you to wait for him, reluctantly letting you go for a minute, during which he headed back in the 79s.

The night was well settled now, but thousands of luminous ads and screens were keeping the city awake and occupied. You jolted when you felt something pressing against your shoulders.

“Here,” Jesse coated you nicely with a jacket wearing the 501st symbol, “better?”

You found your way back into his arms before answering.

“Now it’s better.”

He held you close to him, gently lifting your head up with two fingers.

“Do you mind if I kiss you again, princess?”

How could you, when you were melting from the softness in his voice and the delicacy in which he called you a princess?

“I wish you did so, sir.”

His smile lightened your soul, and the feeling of his mouth against yours made your heart explode in millions of butterflies. This time he was slower, gently making his way to your tongue, barely stroking it before pulling back with a pop. He came back, again, and again, taking his time to appreciate the curves of your lips, their soft touch, and their sweet taste. You glued yourself to him, craving his touch, his warmth. He cupped your face with a hand, gently rubbing your cheek with his thumb.

“You were the prettiest girl tonight.”

“Ho, so you looked at other girls?” you playfully mocked him.

“No, I just know you were.” He smugly confessed, pecking you one last time.

You laid you head on his chest, eyes half-closed, your focus oriented on his heartbeat.

“Thank you for the dance. You have some nice moves.”

“Next time I’ll show you some more.”

“Next time?” you asked for confirmation, tightening your grip on his hips.

“Yeah, if you want to. I know I’d love that, you danced so well tonight I almost thought you could steal the fame from me.”

“Oh, but I did. And I’ll do it again. Maybe tonight, if you want to come to my place for another round.”

He kissed your forehead, a grin painted on his face.

“If you ask so nicely, love.”

Music - Sharing: French Edition™

I promised it to you, so here it is! Before we start, you must know that I don't listen that much to French artists (mostly because I have a hars time finding artists I really like/ match my musical style) but. The ones in this list. This is like. Good good stuff.

First one, has to be a childhood band!

I grew up with this song and this album; I mean I could possibly still sing it all by heart today even if it's been years since I last listened to it

It feels like home in a way; I love his voice it's soothing and the duet is 👌 honestly this album got strong early 2000s vibes, like the one you listened to in highschool and I love that kind of vibes 🥰

OK so technically he's Belgian, but he sings and speaks in French so let's say it works 😂

He always has dope texts, he's an amazing lyricist because he always finds way to play with words and give double meaning to lines; in this one for ex. He says "et c'est comme ça qu'on s'aime/ comme ça consomme" and to the ear it's quite close so it helps linking the two ideas together and-

Yeah he has a way with words, and the rhythms are always super nice! This one is quite rhythmic but if you listen to "Quand C'est" for ex. it's calmer (maybe also because of the subject of the song)

So yeah, he's a great artist and I know he kinda made his way to the US a few years back before taking a break but like- deserves the recognition, 10/10 definitely recommend

This one is sooooo good like that intro gets me everytime; and his voice is sooo beautiful and soft like LISTEN TO HIM PUSHING TO THAT LIL RASPINESS WHEN HE SAYS "dors apaisé" I AM IN LOVE

He's also an amazing songwriter like. Songs full of love and emotions of all kinds, it just resonates a lot and it's still catchy

I mean let me give you some more from him just because I CAN

La bourgeoisie des sensations (great song, love triangle where a woman falls in love with a woman while being in a relationship with a man)

Conduire en Angleterre (what it is to be a left-handed person in a world imagined for right-handed people) (i relate a lot to this song 😂) (basically the album including this song is dope)

Yeah. This artist is worth the detour

Worth it!

This one is lovelyyyy it's about a man receiving a love letter and he tries to find the woman who sent it

The guitar is lovely, his voice is so soft and it's catchy, the kind of songs you listen to on the radio during a roadtrip to the countryside you know?

Les voisines is also great, he has such a soft voice in this one 🥰

This one is adorable; he writes a lot of love songs about/ for his wife which I think makes it even cuter 😂💗

This one is a recent one, but the first time I heard it I just... Fell in love with it

The clip is 10/10 it's animated and the colours are sooo soft like light purple / blue and greys it's beautiful

They were very (and are still) famous in the 80s too and they have a lot of great songs! All retro vibes which I love!

Cody loved how you looked.

The way you carried yourself every day, juggling between clean suits and tight dresses, and how confident you would look in each. How anyone passing by needed to turn round to watch you for a second more; and how he did it too even though he was the man lucky enough to come back home and see more of you, only you, always you.

He loved the way you’d wait for him to come home, sometimes, and pretend you couldn’t unzip your dress, or felt too lazy to take off your pants before; and he knew you were always lying. He wasn’t an idiot after all, and you did little to no effort to hide the spark in your eyes as he’d hold you close and let his hand run down your back, dragging your dress in the process.

He loved the flirty looks and the innocent smiles; the teasing and the intimacy, and he loved sharing all of it with you.

But what Cody loved the most was the way you looked right now. Laying on your bed, legs shaking against his head and shoulders, a hand buried in his hair as you tried so hard to ground yourself. The way you were muffling your moans in the palm of your hand every time his tongue pressed against your clit, and how your body arched when a heated wave was coming up from your thighs to your chest.

You were beautiful. A work of art, truly. And though he helped sculpting these pleading eyes and short breaths, he knew you didn’t need him to be mesmerizing.

“C-Cody…” you brought him back to the moment in a cry, and his tongue ran against you one last time before he got up.

“Good.” He smiled, and his hand slipped behind your neck as he reached for a kiss. It tasted like you, only sweeter. Everything was always sweeter when it touched his lips.

Even the moan that came out of your mouth when he pushed two fingers inside you.

The slow, warm contact sent an electroshock through your body, and you were too busy focusing on his movement to notice his smile against your mouth.

“Does that feel good?” his lips brushed over yours, and you couldn’t quite tell which between his ask, the whisper filled with care and lust, or the slow pumping inside you was driving you over the edge again.

“I… It- Cody!” your voice broke in a loud, pleading cry; one you couldn’t cover; one he could taste on his tongue.

His hand ran through your hair, moving your head to the crook of his neck, and he pushed his fingers a bit deeper, a bit quicker too, eager to rip another moan from you.

“I know, you’re doing so well my pretty girl.” He murmured, so close to your ears it sent shivers down your spine. “You feel so good for me,” he stopped talking for a second, inviting you to listen to the wet sound coming from between your thighs, “so beautiful.”

He sighed when you bit down the skin of his neck, leaving a light mark that you kissed a few times, trying so hard not to come back and hold onto him this way; teeth deep into his neck, muffling your cries and pleads for more, deeper, faster-

That’s when he realised he was wrong.

Feeling you moaning his name against his lips as your walls clenched around his fingers, as your legs closed around his waist in a sudden movement, your body shaking with pure bliss and your hands abandoning the idea of holding on to anything; that’s what he loved the most about you.

He waited for you to calm down a bit, then slowly pulled his fingers out of you, making you twitch against him. He allowed you to catch your breath, peppering your neck and jaw with delicate kisses, making sure to not crush you with his weight.

There was him. Only him, always him.

You loved the way Cody looked right now. Some curls lazily falling on his forehead, a tender smile painted over his face, golden strings running in these dark whisky eyes. His body bent over yours, covering you and keeping you warm; and his hands letting you know that he would always be here to take care of you, to pull you close, to hold you tight, and to make you feel like the prettiest girl in the galaxy.

Mostly, you loved the way he let out a heavy sigh as your hand reached inside his pants.
