⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🪶🐍🩸👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏼
I read this book in one setting. It was hard to put down, and I wanted to see where everything went, what would happen, would Nirrim and Sid get together, what were the secrets the world was hiding and omg it did not disappoint.
I loved the way the two met, and the banter between them that followed. I loved how Nirrim realised that she was in fact in love with a woman and how she went about it. I loved the scene with Lillian. I know this was a YA book, but I guess the only disappointment for me was the fade to black scenes.
I really liked the plot, the world, the twists and turns. It was a great book and I can't wait to read book two.

🎀 Spicy Thoughts 🎀
You're in the kitchen cooking at the stove when she sneaks up on you from behind, and covers your neck in a series of hot kisses. Your knees weakening more and more each time she whispers dirty words into your ears with a devious smirk. Her arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you in closer. She turns you around to face her and tilts your chin upward with her finger to make eye contact. "You're blushing again darling" she chuckles, gently stroking your cheek with her fingers as you begin stuttering in an attempt to say something in return, though now you're unable to even formulate a proper sentence - too flustered to think clearly....
She finds this highly amusing, and slowy backs you up against the countertop. "Already so needy hmm?" She questions looking down at your clenched thighs. "Please, I need you!" you whimper desperately. And she answers your plea by wedging her knee between your legs for you to grind on for some relief, while locking eyes with you once more as she traces her fingers slowly up and down your inner thighs. The sensation giving you goosebumps. Her nails leaving light claw marks down your back while making out. Kissing her so passionately that you're both left gasping for a breath of fresh air by the end.

I’ve tried so hard to finish reading the sapphic soccer book Cleat Cute because I was so excited about it for so long but I can’t. It’s just…it’s just so bad. I’m sorry if this opinion offends anyone who loved it, I’m thrilled that you did because I wish I loved it and I’m jealous 😂

Hey Bioshock fans!
Are you Gay?🏳️‍🌈
Do you like books? 📚
Do you like Lesbians? 👩‍❤️‍👩
WELL DO I HAVE THE BOOK FOR YOU
Introducing "This Gilded Abyss" by Rebecca Thorne! It's got an underwater city! Submersibles! Art Deco art styles! Hurt/comfort! Enemies(exes) to lovers! Badass Lesbians! Horrific murder scenes and epic fighting sequences! Underwater disasters! And much much more!
I bought the book two days ago and finished it this morning. And I cannot recommend it enough. The characters are clever, witty, and bad ass. Not to mention there's a little bit of spice✨🔥🥵 for those of you looking for something a bit naughty 😉.
I honestly can't wait for the next installment in -what I understand is going to be a trilogy- the series and am now reading another one of Rebecca's books "Can't spell treason without tea" which so far I also thoroughly enjoy.

written in the stars by alexandria bellefleur ✨
i usually don’t write reviews right after finishing a book but.... i HAVE to get people to read this book asap.
this book is the first book in a (so far) 3 book stand alone series, i am not sure if there will be more in the future. written in the stars was absolutely amazing in sooo many aspects. you follow both main characters, elle and darcy on their adventure and it is.... lovely and definitely inspiring in some ways for me. i don’t want to give anything away or spoil anything so... just please give it a chance.
read if you like: fake dating, lgbtq rep, harry potter references, astrology, grumpy/sunshine, funny banter, soul mates, strong character growth.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 👭🏳️‍🌈🚔 So I may be a bit biased here, considering I know this first time author very well. Because of that fact, I know the author poured her heart and soul into this book, almost literally, as she modelled Elsie and Lu and their pasts on herself. The storyline follows the two girls as they fall in love with each other, from the moment they first meet. Most would argue that they are complete opposites, considering Elsie is practically a recluse and Lu is a bad@ss, 🔪 welding, motorbike riding, knows what she wants, and will get what she wants when she wants it gal. I guess that's why they call it love at first sight and opposites attract. You follow along as they get up to mischief, and find themselves in tricky situations. The story is so well written, that you can feel what the characters are feeling as if you were them. The 👅🤌 scenes were 🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵 Thank you @jcroweauthor Buy it here
Please check TW before reading. 18+ recommend.

🎀 Spicy Thoughts 🎀
Taking her to a fancy restaurant and teasing her underneath the table, my hand running up her skirt caressing her thighs. Hearing her faint, needy little whimpers in my ear as her arousal grows. "Be good for me darling and stay quiet or you'll get a punishment when we get home". Only I am allowed to hear those sweet moans of hers. When the waiter finally comes along to take our order, I revel in watching her squirm about in her seat. Already a flustered, blushing, stuttering mess. So desperately trying to hold her composure and get her words out coherently. When he eventually leaves, I pepper kisses down her neck and whisper into her hear: "What's that matter my love? Cat got your tongue?" 😉

My final read of 2023 was Spellbound by Ophelia Silk. I enjoyed this cozy witchy story. Find out what happens when a girl from town takes a shortcut through the woods and gets saved by a mysterious woman with magic. I found this on Amazon.
Full review
This was an adorable story. I enjoyed it a lot even when I wanted to take Jane by the shoulders and shake her. As a reader, you need to remember she’s an untraveled, abused, closeted, 20 year old with toxic coping mechanisms. So of course her communication skills aren’t as good as they need to be. Adelaide isn’t without fault either but she’s also in her early 20s. While there isn’t a large age gap between the two women, it feels like there is a bit of one since Adelaide has traveled and lived on her own for a while.
It took me a few chapters to acclimate to Silk’s way of wording things but, overall, I really enjoyed this book. Would recommend and will probably read it again.
