Hola Maru!! Quería preguntarte si podrías recomendarme páginas o blogs como este que hablan de teorías, solo que de Star wars, tus blogs favoritos de star wars, sobre todo los que enfocan a relación de Vader y Luke. Recién ví las pelis y me encantaron, pero a diferencia de bnha no se buscar muy bien los blogs de Star wars, y me gustaría encontrar blogs como este que me divierten con sus teorías, pero más enfocados a Star Wars. Oh dont worry, you dont bother me at all. Honestly I dont follow any star wars blogs myself, I just visit certain star wars tags from time to time. I think if you want to find specific stuff that focuses on luke and vader, you need to search in the darth vader or luke skywalker tag and if you like a post just check out the blog and look if its what your looking for. I also post vader and luke centric stuff from time to time. Actually I plan to focus on lukes and vaders relationship in the comics very soon. I would actually recommend the star wars and darth vader comics from 2015 and 2020 to you, they are for the most time pretty good only the art sucks quite often. The star wars and darth vader comics 2015 happen before "the empire strikes back". The 2015 star wars comics focus for the most part on lukes journey to become a jedi and while vader doesnt show up all the time, he still plays a big part in them and is trying to find luke. Its also in these comics that he finds out that luke is his son and becomes obssessed with him. The darth vader 2015 comics focus completly on vader and his journey how he became supreme commander of the imperial navy between "a new hope" and "the empire strikes back". The events in these comics happen at the same time then the star wars comics. We see the moment how vader finds out about luke from his pov and how he tries to find out more about him and catch him. So while luke himself doesnt really show up in the darth vader comics, he is still constantly on vaders mind and his main focus/motivation. The star wars 2020 and darth vader 2020 comics are still going on and happen AFTER "the empire strikes back". You can read all of them online.

I will include your other ask if I now any good vader/luke fanfictions. There are TONS of very good fanfictions who focus on these two on "archive on our own", just google for "vader luke fanfictions" and it should be the first thing that shows up. I espicially like DragonflyonBreak, SilverDaye and Sparklight works, but believe me there are so much more really great fanfictions who focus on father and son. Just start at the last page and work yourself to the first one 😉

I dont know if you have watched them yet, but I also recommend to you to watch the prequel trilogy, espicially if you want to understand anakins journey how and WHY he bacame darth vader, because thats really important and since lukes and leias mother padme is mentioned in most vader and luke fanfictions and also the darth vader comics its important to know her character. A lot of people say the prequels are terrible, but personally I really like them. They are not perfect and there are a few things I think were stupid, but for the most part I really enjoyed them. If you liked yoda and obiwan in the original trilogy too, you will get tons of them in the prequels.

Hi Sinful Skywalker! Once again thanks for answering my recent Piett prompt. Really made my day. Your story is how I got into Star Wars fanfic and I didn't know Baby Luke was something I needed :). I was just thinking about chapter 19 again and how even more possessive Vader will now be. If he has important council meetings etc will he find Luke a babysitter? Or will he carry Luke around in a harness or something. I can only imagine Luke's embarrassment.

Hello anon, I loved answering your Piett ask. Piett never gets as much love as he should in my opinion, he's underrated and honestly a little bean. Piett needs a raise TBH. And to hear that my fic is what got you into star wars fanfiction is honestly really heart warming because SilverDaye's Runaway got me into the fanfic fandom after so many years of kinda being off and on, so I am humbled that my work did that for you <3 and Baby Luke is something we all need even if we don't know it lol. <3

That idea you have of a harness honestly drops the whole idea of a babysitter in my opinion. Because I believe Vader would only be trusting of a select few due to how many people "betray" him. And he'll need an idea of "how to keep smol son from escaping." and then BAM he recalls how his mother used to carry him so his feet wouldn't burn on the hot sands of Tatooine and the rest is history. However, most officers will be able to hear Luke before they see him because he's kicking and screaming in the cute blanket wrappings Vader carries him in.

I haven’t read a lot of Vaderdala fics. The only one I had time to read was Cast Away by Rogue Darth Skywalker which is about Jedi!Padme and Vader.

Oh wait, there’s also this one from @lethargicmouse. It’s also about Jedi!Padme but it also has Suitless!Vader.

There’s also For a Sith to Love a Jedi by ArgentumSol(SilverDaye) which followss a similar story. I haven’t read this one, but it is on my list I guess. I think both Cast Away and this one are inspired by the Vaderdala fanart of @aggressive--negotiations/ @good-call-my-young-padawan.

There’s also this fic rec list by @claranidala. She does say that some of those are rated m. I haven’t read any of them, but I trust her judgement.

And this list by @padme-amitabha. Again, haven’t read them, but I trust her when it comes to Anidala.

Luke and Leia vs the Galaxy

Three months after the Battle of Endor, Luke Skywalker goes in search of a rumoured Jedi temple in a secluded part of the Mid Rim. He finds within the temple nothing but a strange artifact, which unexpectedly brings him much closer to the Jedi of old than he ever thought he would be.

When Luke fails to return from his mission, Leia goes after him, retracing his steps to the ancient temple — and to the past, to the time of the Clone Wars and the waning years of the Old Republic. Under suspicion by the Jedi Order, the twins struggle to find a way back to their own time while trying to keep their knowledge of the future from affecting the past.

This, however, turns out to not be as simple as it seems.

It's hard to bring balance to the Force when the only method you've seen is your black-cloaked psychic cyborg sorcerer dad with a severe breathing problem throwing an old man down the Death Star reactor shaft. As much as Luke would like to see the not-yet-Emperor dead, he doesn't want to be arrested by his unusually attractive(?) war-hero dad and spend the rest of his indeterminate time in the past dropping Ewok beats in a jail cell. Also Leia would probably kill him. But not before breaking him out of jail.

So when the twins wake up on Tatooine decades in the past, they play it safe. They take over a planet, reconnect with their adoptive and real parents without weirding them out (too much), and accidentally cause the Chancellor perpetual near-death experiences.

Flash Fiction: Star Wars

Some young Luke and Vader fluff written for @silvereddaye

Luke was asleep. Vader took a breath out of sync with his respirator in order to sigh—unsure if it was a contented or tired one—and hold the child tighter against his chest, the boy wriggling unconsciously in his sleep to press closer against Vader’s body. Space was cold, Vader remembered from a time when temperature had still mattered to him, and Luke was from Tatooine. Vader, meanwhile, bled heat from his machinery.

Luke clung to him and he was not complaining.

If a few straggling troopers or officers stared as Vader marched through the Star Destroyer’s corridors, a young child clinging to his side, he ignored them. If the dignitary currently occupying the finest rooms on the ship was indignant at being tossed out, he ignored him. He clutched his son and pretended, for a moment, that he could feel the soft curls on his head through his leather gloves and durasteel hands.

He was trying to be gentle.

He didn’t know how well he was succeeding, but Luke was not crying—not the way he’d cried when he’d first seen Vader, highly emotional and relieved and afraid and overwhelmed all at once at having to leave his aunt and uncle for an unknown man in the stars. Luke was sleeping, peacefully. He stirred just as Vader approached his own quarters.

“Pa… pa?” he asked. The word was clumsy in his mouth, on his young tongue, but not as clumsy as Vader would have expected—he wondered how often Luke had used it when whispering to himself. “Where… are we…”

“My home,” Vader said. Luke’s nose crinkled at the lie, but there was no truth to tell him, as far as home went. “Come inside, Luke…” His voice wavered—he hadn’t known that his vocoded voice could waver. “I want to show you something.”

Luke yawned, fresh tears filling his eyes as he remembered his situation, but Vader kept him on his hip and carried him through, hushing him gently. Their Force-bond was strong, and powerful, and undoubtedly far too much for an untrained boy who’d grown up in an empty desert, but Vader took care not to bowl him over with his emotions; he saw ripples, not waves, of reassurances, until Luke’s death grip twisted in his cape relaxed.

“Wha tis’t?” Luke mumbled, eyes blurry. Vader carried him into the large room his hyperbaric chamber stood in the middle of; Luke perked up at the sight of it, curiosity overriding his exhaustion, and stared.

Vader pressed a button, and the pod hissed open.

Luke let go of Vader’s cape to reach out a hand and point at the pod, his face creasing, his mouth opened in a faint oh. “Wha…”

“This is where I can breathe without the mask, Luke,” Vader said. “This is… I…” He stopped, and just repeated. “I want to show you something.”

Luke dropped his hand as they walked into the chamber, instead tilting his head back as the dome of it arched over them, staring. Vader brought his attention back to him when he sat down in the seat in the centre, and put Luke on the floor.

Luke scrunched up his face.

“No— no, little one,” Vader hushed. “One moment.”

The pod locked the doors and there was a hiss as the seals were put in place; Luke was distracted from his tantrum to stare at the sound, tilting his head then glancing at Vader in conclusion—and shouting. Vader used the Force to keep the boy still as the arms descended, deconstructed his mask like they were stripping his mental shields away, layer by excruciating layer, and then…

He blinked.

His eyesight wasn’t as good outside of the suit, but for now he saw a blur of white, dirty white, and… gold. He moved his gaze from Luke’s desert robes to his head of wild hair, to the hole where his mouth had fallen open, and… he stared.

Held out a hand for Luke to come closer, now that the mechanical arms were gone.

“Papa?” Luke said querulously, keeping his distance.

Vader nodded. “It’s me, Luke,” he said hoarsely. Luke narrowed his eyes at his unaltered voice—thin, weak, frail, everything he hated—and Vader hastened to reach out in the Force, sending the same soothing ripples he’d been sending in the hours since he found him. It’s me. It’s your father.

Luke took a tentative step forward, then another one. Then he reached up, and Vader reached down, and pulled Luke into his lap, where the boy sat and stared up at him.

He reached up a hand to place it on Vader’s scarred cheek.

It hurt—there were still unhealed sores there, and it always hurt. But just the shock, of having a warm, gentle skin on his skin, delicately brushing against it…

Vader let out a sob and leaned into the touch like a drunkard leaned on a steady wall.

Luke looked alarmed, but smiled, broadly, showing his gap-toothed grin with an reckless abandon, and raised his other hand to Vader’s cheek, squidging it like he might his food, or sand, or toys. Vader covered that hand with his own, curling the cold metal fingers around the tiny flesh ones with the sort of precision his prosthetics had not been known to have, and smiled back.

At first it was a tentative smile, not daring to try it too hard, not daring to shift the pudgy hands from his face, not daring to scare him… But then Luke’s eyes blew wide and he positively beamed, shuffling closer—

He poked a finger in Vader’s mouth and giggled.

Vader shut his mouth firmly the moment he extracted it, but couldn’t stop smiling, now.

Luke was here. This… this marvellous, impossible, wonderful boy was here, right in front of him, smiling at him, loving him… He’d survived the hellworld of Mustafar and the hellworld of Tatooine and now he was sitting right here, beaming at Vader for all he was worth.

“Papa!” Luke said excitedly.

Vader tousled his hair with all the affection he could possibly muster, trying to stop it from crashing down their bond and crushing his son flat. He didn’t want to hurt him. He would make sure that no one would hurt him, ever.

“Hello, Luke,” he choked out. “It’s nice to meet you.”
