☆Abby comforting FEM reader after nightmare☆

Hi! I would like to mention rq this was a request but I'm actually super duper stupid and accidentally deleted the request.. I absolutely LOVED this idea. <3 sorry for lack of posts! writers block tbh.kjfkldsjkljsk

Use of Y/N a few times, fluff, Y'know.. the usual. (Not proof read and probably many typos, bare with me.)

For the girls and the gays.. Men DNI! (Please. <3)

-This was one of the first nights "away" from Abby, your girlfriend. Abby was off at work for one of her first nightshifts this month at the office. Abby knew this would be hard on both of you so she promised she would put in her best effort to keep you happy, even with these new shift hours.

All day you felt crazy without Abby's touch.. Her hugs from behind, neck kisses and nuzzles. Hell, you're still trying to savor the soft kisses and hug Abby gave you before she left for work that morning.

As much as you do miss Abby, you can't even lie about how much she makes.. Because fuck, does her job pay well.

Abby spoils the shit out of you whenever she can, She never spoiled you in that rich people bullshit and fancy brands stuff but truly, if you wanted any of that she would buy it for you. Abby liked to spend her money on good memories.. EX: Trips, Dinners, occasional video games to play with you.. But you get it. She loves you and works hard so you're happy.

As much as money was important for bills and taxes it's not what you really needed. What you really needed was her physical touch.. Why did she have to take these night shifts??

You sat in bed trying to pass time by watching shitty cable tv, you couldn't even watch the current Netflix show you and Abby were watching together or she'd get upset, even though that's all you wanted right now. To make Abby upset, she made you upset? Why not get her upset for taking these shifts. Of course you could never betray Abby like that though so...push aside those evil thoughts Y/n.

All you could think about was the sound of Abby coming home.. Her coat and keys being placed on the counter with her boots dropping with a thud in the kitchen floor.

You weren't lazy all day of course, you did all that house wife shit like cleaning the house, making dinner, and buying groceries. Abby of course appreciated your work you did for her but she thought you were so lonely when she's not home.. "You need friends Y/n, please go join a book club or go to the gym.. you can make friends--"

When you sat in bed you couldn't even sleep, you haven't slept alone since you and Abby had first started dating.. You eventually fell asleep with Abby's pillow, inhaling her pine soap scent as you slept with another pillow between your legs as a replacement for Abby.. As much as it was embarrassing for how much you needed Abby it somewhat helped.

As you were sleeping Abby had finally came home, the click on the front door was quiet, Abby knew you were asleep with how dark the house was and how you didn't get up from the couch or something to hug her. The only Light she could see was the lamp in the living room and the Tv light from your guy's shared bedroom.

Abby had gone to bathroom to brush her teeth, wash her face off and change into some pajamas.

The longer you slept that's when your shitty re-appearing dream had appeared when you were stressed. Abby knew too, she heard your little mumbles and saw the little beads of sweat on your forehead..

"Y/n? baby?" She whispered to you, not to frighten you but to hopefully wake you up slowly. You didn't get up. Of course Abby had to have a heavy sleeping girlfriend.

Abby got in bed behind you, wrapping her forearm around you, pulling you into her chest. She tucked her right leg between both of yours and smelled your hair. God she missed the smell of you and the house. Abby rubbed soft circles on your back and thigh to comfort you incase you woke up.. and you did, horrified.

Gasping you woke up in a pool of your sweat and Abby's arms around you..

"Hey.. Hey calm down Y/n.. it's me.. I'm right here.." Abby whispered into your ear and kept trying to calm you down.

"It was just a bad dream.. I'm home now.." Abby gave soft kisses on your neck instantly calming you down. Finally.. Abby was home and that's all that mattered..

"Missed me huh sweet girl?.." Abby rocked you in her arms as you just turned around and wrapped your own arms around her.

"Missed you so much Abigail.. Please don't take those night shifts.. Please.." You begged her in your sleepy, teary eyed voice.

"Oh Y/n... I'll see what I can do princess." Abby ran her big fingers through your hair and kissed you softly, her minty breath made you sigh contently.

"Goodnight Y/n.." Abby hushed you to sleep again, and you did. Perfectly. ☆

he is surprisingly (or not surprisingly) really touchy. always has his hands on you, whether he’s rubbing circles into your skin or has an arm sling around your shoulder. it provides him a lot of comfort and makes him feel like he’s connected with you. he also is into quality time and enjoying the moment with you.

𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐘, what does he find the most beautiful about you?

he adores your smile and your laugh. you’re the sun to his moon, he reflects off of your light. even small little grins from you keeps him going. sometimes he’ll cup your jaw and pinch your cheeks together to watch you giggle and squirm, his eyes softening at the sight.

𝐂𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐒, how cuddly is he? how does he cuddle with you?

he likes to act like he’s not super cuddly, but the truth is he loves it. anytime you two cuddle he feels like he’s recharging. he usually falls asleep, with you either snug on his lap while he hugs you or he spoons you.

it’s nice, but he’s constantly looking to tease or mess with you, it’s just in his blood he can’t help it. if you’re both doing your own thing and pass each other he’ll smack your butt and walk away like nothing happened, whisper something dirty in your ear, or he’ll suddenly grab you by the jaw and kiss you. if he notices you getting used to it he’ll stop for a while so when he does it again it fluster and catches you off guard. 

𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, how vulnerable with his emotions is he with you?

he doesn’t necessarily show his vulnerability through telling you, but through actions. the fact that he has let you in so close to see the real side of him is vulnerable in itself. sometimes he’ll reveal things about him through stories about himself if you ask, but doesn’t usually outright say it. i think the more you know him the more you can read into how he’s feeling. every once in a while if you’re both in a vulnerable and private setting he might let a few gushy words slip.

𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘, does he want a family with you in the future?

It’s not the first thing on his mind, but if you want one with him he’s not against it. it’s not that he doesn’t want one, it’s more like his own thoughts on it are holding him back. his mom did the best she could, but he’s afraid of not being a good dad and his kids ending up like he was in high school. It just takes a lot of reassurance on your end.

𝐆𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐒, is he a gift giver? what kind of gifts does he give to you?

he’s not so much a gift giver as much as he is an acts of service and physical touch guy. It’s not like he doesn’t care enough or want to give you gifts, it’s just that’s not his love language. he’s really appreciative if you’re the type to give gifts, and will make an effort to put a lot of thought get you something special on holidays or gift-giving occasions.

𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐒, what is hugging him like?

he gives you a lot of hugs from behind. he’ll rest his chin on your head and sometimes will slowly begin to rest his full weight on you so you have to hold him up. thinks it’s really funny when you slowly panic and complain when he does it. he’ll also tug you onto his lap and hold you there. he’s fallen asleep that way, his head dropping and using your shoulder as a pillow.

𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒, what is he insecure about in your relationship?

there’s a bit of insecurity in himself deep down from when he was younger. he’s grown a lot since then, but sometimes he still has those thoughts. he thinks that you can do a lot better than him, and is scared you’re eventually going to find someone else and choose them over him.

𝐉𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐘, how jealous does he get?

because of that fear, sometimes he’ll get pretty jealous over you if someone tries to get too close or buddy-buddy with you. he’s not the type of guy to get super possessive and toxic about your own friends, but if he can tell someone is interested in you as more than friends it rubs him the wrong way. he will hide it well, but you’ll notice he goes really quiet. he clenches his jaw and fists, but won’t say anything. instead, he holds you close to him and stares down the other pursuer.

𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆, what is kissing him like?

The type to totally fluster you and catch you off guard with them. sometimes he likes to walk up behind you and lift your chin with one hand to sneak a kiss on your lips. if you shy away he just resorts to kissing your cheek or neck with a smug smirk on his face. other times he tugs you to him by grabbing the back of your neck (never hard or forceful) and starts making out with you for no apparent reason. 

𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄, who said “i love you” first?

i think you’d have to be the one to say it first. he is good at making it apparent how he feels, don’t get him wrong. you can tell just from the way he looks at you and how he treats you. it’s just hard for him to get those words out first. he’s uncharacteristically nervous about it, and is secretly really relieved that you were the first to cross that line in your relationship.

𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐓, who gets shy or weak in the knees more?

it’s almost impossible to fluster him, so good luck. Any time you try, he finds a way to completely turn it back on you and leave you a melted mess.

𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄, does he use any pet names for you?

he’d use baby the most. also will say some pet names in a certain tone to either fluster or tease you. kitty, doll, dearest, and lovely are some other ones he uses every once in a while. sometimes he refers to you as “mi corazón” if he’s feeling sweet and loving. 

𝐎𝐁𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒, what are some issues you have in your relationship? how does he handle it?

sometimes if you two are going through a rough patch in life, you can get in a lot of arguments and will sometimes pick up old habits like drinking or smoking. he absolutely hates upsetting you or letting you down though, so that alone is enough to snap him out of it and step up as a man. doesn’t want to end up as some deadbeat, and that’s enough to motivate himself to work things out with you.

𝐏𝐃𝐀, how does he express his love in public?

he always has his arm around your shoulders, tucking you into his side. you fit perfectly snug and comfortable because he’s really tall, so you click right to him like a puzzle piece. isn’t the type to make out with you in front of everyone, but sneaks a few kisses and will teasingly sneak a hand to squeeze your hip or waist. he won’t ever do it in a way that embarrasses you or makes you uncomfortable, he just really can’t keep his hands off of you.

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄, how do you spend your time together?

he really loves going night owl activities with you. watching movies, stargazing, going for a night walk, going for a drive, he just loves those quiet moments with you. if you get sleepy easily or are more of a morning person, he’s fine with it. he still enjoys the movie or car ride, and will glance over at your sleeping face with a little grin. if you’re still too sleepy he’ll just carry you back to bed.

𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆, what are his plans for the future?

your first impression of probably wouldn’t make it easy for you to imagine him as a committed married man. he has a small fear of attachment due to what happened with his own parents, but once he gets attached to you he’s not letting you escape go. at that point he already kind of sees you as his wife, so if you hint at it he’s like oh yeah we aren’t officially married i guess we should do that. it’s not that he doesn’t take marriage seriously it’s just that he seriously already considers you two committed and married.

𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐒, how open is he? does he keep anything from you?

sometimes he feels ashamed of how he used to act and think when he was younger, so when memories or feelings from that time come up, he might become a little closed off to you. if you insist he opens up he might indulge you a little, but still doesn’t like talking about it. he really just needs reassurance and loving.

𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄, how long did it take for you two to get together?

if you two met in high school, you probably didn’t start dating until after you guys graduated. he honestly just isn’t in the right headspace at the time and has a lot of maturing to do before you get into a stable relationship. if you do date him in high school, i could see you splitting and then getting back together after meeting him again after he has a lot of character development.

𝐔𝐏𝐒𝐄𝐓, what makes him upset?

seeing you going through a tough time bothers him, not because of you, but because he remembers how he always handled his emotions alone. if you’re even slightly tempted to try drinking or smoking to numb it he steers you far away from resorting to that. he’ll take you somewhere quiet and calm or will take you on a night drive to help you clear your head. understands if you don’t want to talk about it because he has trouble with it too, but he’s been through a lot himself so he can see where you’re coming from. he’s good at providing comfort while not trying to solve all of your problems.

𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐘, does he do anything to spice up your relationship?

you two spend a lot of time relaxing together, but i think he would be the type of guy to go urban exploring with you. loves the thrill of finding abandoned places and the spooky atmosphere (once an edgy kid always an edgy kid). if you’re scared he teases you, but also makes sure you really do feel safe with him. he’d never put you in danger and if a place doesn’t feel right he’s immediately taking you out of the situation.

𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒, how good is he at communicating?

surprisingly, he’s really good at communicating. sometimes it takes him a bit to find the words he wants to say. when you keep your true feelings to yourself for a long time, it’s really hard to talk about it even if he wants to tell you. he learned the hard way from personal experience that bottling up all of your thoughts and hiding behind a tough mask isn’t healthy and only hurts yourself and the people who really care about you.

𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀, something random 

halloween and fall time is so fun with him. so many horror movie nights, halloween festivals, pumpkin carving dates, etc. if you’re the type to get scared easily, he loves for you to cling to him. makes it up to you for subjecting you to all of the scares by cuddling with you and whispering about how he’d easily fight off any monster or killer without a sweat.

𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, what are they like when you’re gone?

misses you more than he lets on. once he’s let you in, he grows really attached to you. you may think he was super chill about being apart from you, but the way he hugs you and cuddles you when you reunite is telling of how he really felt. 

𝐙𝐙𝐙..., how do you two sleep? when you’re apart?

usually falls asleep with you on his arm and tucked under his chin, with you both facing each other. you usually fall asleep first, and he’ll admire you while gently tracing your features with his finger. at some point he wakes up with a numb arm, but it’s worth it to him. when that happens he slides a pillow between his arm and your head so he doesn’t have to move from you. he tosses and turns at night when you’re gone, he just got so used to feeling you all warm and snuggled next to him.

Pretty easily identifiable age range of 3-7

She never loses that desire to keep making and creating - so she has a lot of toys pertaining to that! Depending on where she's landed in her headspace, she'll tinker with Jr. Robotics kits, Legos, blocks or just simple science experiments.

Seriously can't be left unsupervised for long around anything that could be taken apart. Ballpoint pens, CD players, cardboard boxes. She wants to know how things work and she doesn't care if she'll be upset later because she's covered in lava lamp fluid and glitter!!!

Sensory avoidant. Reagan becomes more sensitive to outside stimuli in headspace, so failsafe plans need to be installed. Noise canceling headphones, sunglasses, change of clothes, etc. Especially certain kinds of physical touch are big no-nos. Unexpected hugs, for example.

Super specific about clothing. Tags out, seams non-offensive, the same thing in several colors, etc.

Regression is a way to get her childhood back! She tries to plan when, how, what she'll be doing and with who. All in an effort to keep the experience as positive as possible. 

Usually this does include Brett! He's a really fun CG - and easily adapts to Reagan's needs. She's able to put a lot of trust in him and knows he'd never abuse this. He's just a big safety blanket, which is exactly what this little kid needs sometimes. 

Museum trips!! So many museum trips!! They take a lot of planning in advance. Snack bag, the correct outfit, and headphones are a must! Public places can easily become too much for her when small - be it through sensory overload or anxiety over being a kid in public. 

When they do get everything just right..Reagan loves interactive exhibits. Pressing buttons, standing on platforms or picking things up to inspect are always a great time! 

Heavily relies on structure. It's not that she'll forget, it's that she wants to know what's next at all times. If there's no daily planner up somewhere, she'll get antsy until there is.

When by herself, Reagan tends to steer away from anything that might delve too much into her actual childhood. She prefers watching newer shows, playing with newer toys - or plain and simple  just turning the whole thing into nap time.

Comfort items!! She has them, she loves them. One of her favorites is a pocket-sized black cat plushie! It goes everywhere with her. Big or small, doesn't matter. The cat is safely tucked away somewhere nearby. 

I see both her and Brett as flips. So,, bunch of fun stuff ensues. They're either small together and engage in absolute chaos, or are able to take care of one another in kiddo mode!!

She's more of a timid type, especially around people she doesn't entirely trust. Largely nonverbal in public - as well as quite often in her circle. Brett is about the only person who knows the full scope of her regression.

I also potentially have more to say here so I'm absolutely open to taking more specific follow-up headcanons or moodboard requests!!!

This cutie isn’t too ticklish around many people.

He’s a tough/stubborn lee around others but not around Sapnap or Dream.

He LOVES tickle games/challenges. Mainly with Sapnap or Dream. Sometimes, Dream and Sapnap will even team up against Punz instead of letting them take turns. 

Punz has a quiet but low laugh, but will melt into a squeaky giggle fit it you get the right spot on him.

He gets those cuddly lee moods where he will provoke Dream and Sapnap into tickling him, but start smiling and trying so hard not to giggle when they start smirking and cooing at him for how cute he’s being. 

I’ve mentioned this for a while in my mind, but yknow how in his MC skin, he has his hood over his head? I think he covers it just bc his ears are very ticklish/sensitive. 

You can make him hysterical and kicking my nibbling on his ears or that spot right below his ears. 

Also back to the MC skin HC, i strongly believe that his knee’s are ticklish and that he teases Dream and Sapnap whenever he’s in a bratty/teasy lee mood. 

CUDDLY SCENARIO RQ- him and Sapnap are cuddling one day, and he finds out that Punz snorts whenever his belly button is poked or tickled. Like- he hiccups and snorts with giggles and pushes him away gently, but doesn’t want him to ^^

“sAHahAPpY! *snort* stAHahaP! IHihitS nOhot a snohohort buttOHohon yOohou gOhohoof!”

Stuff like this ^^ 

Now for spots i'd say his worst are ears, underarms, ribs, belly button, knees and shoulder blades.

This man is very teasy whenever he’s tickling someone. Verbally and while tickling someone. 

If he’s feeling very playful, he will come up with the silliest nicknames for you while tickling you, just to get you to laugh more.

He’s not the type of ler to use tools, but he will unless someone really wants him to. 

He loves tickle and chase. He will scoop you up in his arms, carry you bridal style and nibble on your neck with raspberries. Depending on how nice or mean he is, he’ll give your spots raspberries or kisses.

He will find out what nicknames get you and use them against you in teasing. 

“Aww, what’s the matter Princess/Prince?~ Does it tickle here? Well that’s too bad huh?”

He’s very teasy with his stubble, he loves to tickle people’s necks with it and smirk as they laugh and squeal. 

“Awww it tickles?~ My stubble tickles you? Ahaww isn’t that adorable?~” 

Another thing that he does is that he will lift up the lee’s shirt as he’s tickling them, and start to blow raspberries on their tummy as his stubble is now adding along with the tickles.

This man is e v i l with how he tickles people. 

He doesn’t tickle too rough with lees, unless they really want him to.

Tw // restraints/pinning - one of his favorite methods again is to take someone’s arms above their head and spider his fingers on their tummy or sides, really which ever spot there is that’s exposed to him.

He will SMIRK and say the most teasest stuff while tickling you.

“What’s that?~ You want me to stop?~ Hmmm… but are you sure you want me to sweetheart? You were the one that wanted me to tickle you after all pretty boy/girl~”

He mostly goes after Sapnap and Dream for them tickling him.

LOVES revenge tickles

I’ve mentioned this before with methods, but one of his main methods is pinning someone’s arms up above their head and vibrating his fingers into someone’s ribs or sides. He also loves cooing at them as they giggle, laugh and squeal “pleading” for him to stop.

“Stop? But I don’t think you want me to~ Soooo… nope! I’m good :D” 

I would say his favorite spots to tickle someone are the sides, tummy, back, and underarms.

Really puts all of his effort into after care. This man will get you water, cuddles, your favorite snacks, favorite movie or show. And oh SO much praise, just because he’s a tease.

And that's not to say Ena can't appreciate it! She doesn't know as much about dancing, but she's aware of how difficult it can be to do any intensive activity

I think Ena would also really like your ballet costumes, she sometimes catches herself doodling you in them

for some particular reason Shaggy has to be somewhere Scooby can’t be and Velma is his go-to dog-sitter (based on APNSD The Computer Walks Among Us, “Please, Scooby—for me?” + she kissed his cheek, “Aww, I’d do anything for you, Velma.”) and I just very much like the mental image of Scooby curled up at her feet or something while Daph’s over and they all just watch a movie or smth

following “Moon Monster Madness” Daphne can’t sleep for the life of her bc she can’t stop thinking abt this interaction and she just has to call Velma, it’s 2:00 in the morning and to her it doesn’t matter bc she needs Velma to know that she matters so much more than what she thinks after she didn’t really get a chance to say so beforehand [EDIT: written now haha]

Daphne loves watching Velma work, especially her thinking faces and stimming

thinking abt Large Dragon at Large from WNSD and Velma’s COSTUME with her and Daphne talking abt it beforehand and V’s so embarrassed to show it to Daphne bc she thinks it’s ridiculous so then jokingly Daph keeps accusing her of picking something “scandalous” (“does it show too much of your shoulders or something ;)” “I hate you”) and because Daphne genuinely can’t think of another reason as to why Velma would be embarrassed to show it off she puts it on for Daphne and she thinks it’s literally the cutest thing ever

due to past issues of Men™️ they both have crazy low expectations of relationships when they start dating, like heartbreakingly low- Velma getting a bit emotional when Daph isn’t ashamed of her/their relationship or when she wants a day to the both of them rather than constantly including friends/avoiding alone time; Daphne tearing up when Velma’s interested in what she has to say and makes sure she knows her opinions are valid/acknowledged/cared for; and both of them are pleasantly surprised when they make equal effort rather than begging for the bare minimum

whenever they spend the night together + Velma’s up too late working too hard Daphne will pretend to be asleep and pull a cat-like move in the sense of being cuddly as inconveniently as possible, trying to “shift” to cover her papers or laptop with her arm or slowly try to cover Velma/her papers when on her computer so she could be bothered just enough to not actually be annoyed and enough to give up and go to bed

even if it’s not the greatest in the world, Daphne’s in love w Velma’s singing voice and always encourages any bit of confidence boost she gets

Daphne tries to remind Velma that she’s gorgeous and stunning in every way especially (not because of) knowing that she has a few issues with her body image + Daph just loves her sm

similar to the previous, Velma will often try to find ways to compliment Daphne that don’t involve her physical appearance to show that she sees/acknowledges more than that

Velma started crushing first—they were in early middle school, Daphne started having a phase of calling her friends pet names and Velma’s poor gay heart could not take that (totally not how I got my first crush what r u talking abt)

in middle/high school during lunch/recess, Daphne would often sit with Velma and read under a tree in comfortable silence or Velma would try to sit with Daphne and her friends (Daph enjoyed reading w V more than V enjoyed being w her clique + that is more than ok <3), though of course they’d have their separate times when they’d want to too

Daphne loves going to hockey games w V bc she thinks it’s the funniest thing seeing how hockey can get so violent so quick and how V is just all over that (she also just loves seeing Velma get excited abt things)

Daphne would watch Jack Stauber’s “Opal” day in and day out and Velma would happily watch along; Daphne more or less comforted in not being alone as a child of neglect, Velma nitpicking the art style and the metaphors and how absolutely genius work it is

Velma seems like a clarinet player to me (as a clarinet player myself oops) and I think Daphne would have a lot of fun on low brass even if her parents keep pushing her to do flute or piccolo or something on top of piano and/or violin

I have more they’re just not in my phone so I’ll find them hopefully in the morning if not some other time😭😭😭😭 I wrote them in a notebook for class in my senior year of high school (3 years ago) so I guess I’ll be on a mission to find this particular notebook bc I hardly used it for actual class stuff

you felt bad to just shove him away due to his curiosity though

then came a fortunately confident day that you believed in your talents, so you called sonic to your room

you usually don’t invite many people to your room so even this ask made sonic a bit concerned

he’s hyped as fuck

he’s only heard tidbits of your actual singing despite it being you just humming, but he was able to deduce that you were good at it

the two of you sat criss-cross on your bed while you adjusted your ukulele and took a breath rq

you started to regret it, so sonic decidedly ushered you (gently) into playing for him

he even went as far as to use the blatant puppy dog eyes on you

how tf could you deny him in the end

you ended up playing “sorry haha i fell asleep” since it was technically an apology for shoving him away from you

sonic didn’t say much since he thought that saying anything would throw off your focus immediately

he was mesmerized

of course you had a few cracks and mistakes to start out with but the more you got into the song and performance for him, the more you put out your voice

he saw the passion for your singing in your eyes, he saw how you were more comfortable and had more fun as you went with the song

just by seeing sonic’s enthusiasm, you gradually cracked out of your shell to put in more effort

just for him

and probably only him, if you were being honest

sonic loved the way you swayed to the song ever so slightly

he loved the way your voice was rich and soft with the ukulele

he loved the way you were unfolding yourself right in front of him

you were open to him, finally

he was so patient for you all this time, gladly grateful for the scraps of your voice he was able to hear before

sonic didn’t notice that you were closing to the climax of the song already though

the notice made him a bit sad, since he wanted to hear more of you

he couldn’t shake off his captivation for the life of him, so he was switching between trying to praise your talent and trying to just soak in the moment

it ending up reflecting towards the mild tension between you both

stared at each other

the tension that lingered made you a bit lightheaded, but it was pleasant if anything

and it was savored only for the two of you

everything felt so warm, fuzzy if you could say that, and you had a rampaging bundle of giddiness that was futile to shake off

Malleus maintains a relatively reserved look, but there are a few subtle cues that clue you in on how pleased he is. His widened eyes, the slight smile on his lips, how his eyelids fold over...

Seeing you all dressed up puts him in a really good mood, but he doesn’t express it in over-the-top ways--as a prince, he has to maintain a certain sense of decorum, especially in public. Just know that he’s internally squealing and probably will continue raving about it later to Lilia and co.

He gives you a bow, as though addressing fellow noble, once you stand before him. “Attire as fine as this deserves the royal treatment,” he jokes dryly, taking the back of your hand and planting a quick kiss upon it.

Malleus will want to remember this moment forever: your first date, and his first time seeing you in a special outfit, so he’ll fumble with the camera on his phone to try and take a picture with you. He insists that the photo doesn’t need any filters or other editing once it is taken--he thinks you, and by extension, the picture, looks perfect as is.

Malleus is always courteous, but he’s extra courteous to you since you’ve taken such painstaking efforts to look nice for the date. He volunteers his jacket to keep dust and debris off your outfit, and asks every so often if you’d like to stop and give your feet a rest from the heels.

He assists you with light touch-ups throughout the day, like adjusting stray strands of hair that fall across your face, or wiping up a little lip makeup that smears when you bite into your food. Malleus has the most tender of smiles as he does so, savoring those small, casual moments of intimacy.

Lilia’s eyes light up when he sees you! He’s so excited to see you up close that he just skips right over. Taking your hands in his, he spins you around adoringly while gushing about how adorable you are~

He has an appreciation for cute things, so he’ll want to see your look from different angles! Lilia releases your hands and requests for you to curtsey and twirl so your hair bounces, and your skirt feathers out like flower petals. He claps adoringly all the while, as though cheering you on at a sporting event.

As much as Lilia dotes on you, he also takes every chance he can get to mess with you! Of course, he loves that you put all this effort into your appearance for him, but he wants to see how cute you look after a busy date with him, too!

He’ll tug you along at a frantic pace, sweeping wind into your hair, or challenge you to a race to see who can make it to a designated location first. If you can’t run in heels, no problem! Lilia will sweep you up into his arms and run as fast as he can with you!

Lilia will also boop your nose or nuzzle his face against yours, which smudges your makeup a bit. Oh, and don’t forget the head pats! He’ll mess your hair up really well with those!

Fussing over yourself draws only a chuckle from Lilia. “There is no need to fret, my dear. Even this imperfect look of yours has its own kind of charm. No matter how neat or disheveled your appearance, my feelings for you will remain forever unchanged.”

Silver blinks several times and rubs at his eyes. He thinks, for a moment, that he must be dreaming—so he needs to get rid of whatever drowsiness remains in him!

“Ah... I thought you looked too ethereal to be real for a second there... But I guess it’s not a dream after all. You’re not a dream,” he mutters, smiling softly at you. “Good. I didn’t want to wake up from it if it was.”

He hears it is painful to walk in heels (it’s an experience like walking on a bed of swords, according to his sources), so Silver offers you the crook of his arm to hold onto. It helps anchor you, and no matter how skilled (or unskilled) you may be with walking in heels, just knowing that Silver supports you fills your heart with warmth.

He can’t help but sneak shy peeks at your made up face and cute outfit throughout the date! Silver’s not great at fully articulating his thoughts—the most he can say is a short compliment like “you look nice”, or “that’s pretty”—but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t appreciate them!

Silver’s very patient! If you need to go to the restroom to fix your appearance, he’s fine with waiting for however long it may take to do so (though he does doze off a bit if you take a while in there).

His animal friends come to say hello during your date. A few of the woodland critters bring small flowers, which Silver weaves into your hair, adding to your special look for the day.

Sebek looks completely aghast when he sees you in all your finery. In fact, he’s so shocked that his face goes bright pink, which is a nice contrast to the mint green of his hair.

He fights the blush taking over his face, coughs into his hand, and gives you a lecture about how impractical your manner of dress is. How are you meant to maneuver with those toothpick thin sticks on your shoes? And that flowy fabric offers little to no protection from the elements!

“Love is war!! And you are ill-equipped for that battle field!” Sebek declares with a huff, looking quite proud of himself. “Given this docile, flowery appearance you have adopted... It would be better suited for an act of espionage in enemy territory than as a suit of armor for combat!”

You look confused, so he proceeds to explain that he studied (VERY) old (war) strategy books from the Diasomnia library (recommended by Lilia) to prepare for this momentous day—aren’t you proud of him for being so diligent? Sebek looks to you with sparkling eyes, like a puppy eager for praise!

His expression falters when you let him in on the secret: you didn’t dress up to march off to battle, you dressed up to surprise him! Sebek’s blush deepens as he realizes his mistake and frantically apologizes for it.

He buries his head in his hands in shame, refusing to gaze upon you again (as self-inflicted punishment for his foolishness). After some coaxing from your end, Sebek slowly peeks through the cracks between his fingers and mumbles, “... Y-You... You look nice, human.” And yup, his face is now a bright red instead of pink.

May I rq hcs for Idia, Vil, Epel, Lilia and Floyd with a s/o who's a cosplayer and loves dressing up as mainstream characters

Idia Shroud

You know he loves it. Gets starry eyed everytime you show him a new cosplay, listens with the biggest smile on his face whenever you talk about what characters you want to go for next. If you post pictures of your work online, you bet he's your biggest hypeman.

Though... he does wish you'd branch out to some lesser known stuff too. Yeah, Idia's a bit of an elitist when it comes to media, and you don't really get the worst out of this side of his (Since he's so starstruck with your cosplay) but he'll be tugging at your sleeve, recommending you all sorts of obscure anime and games, because to him that stuff's just so much better.

Still your number one fan though. Whenever he has it in him to go to cons, he'll gladly come to them with you, looking so proud whenever anyone asks you for a picture as he steps away.

Vil Schoenheit

Vil doesn't get much about this sort of culture, so there isn't a huge interest overlap like in Idia's case, but he can appreciate good costuming, and just a well done job in general, so he's pretty involved and supportive, just in a less enthusiastic way.

Even though he doesn't know these characters at all, despite them being mainstream, you can totally have a conversation with him about the more general aspects of cosplaying, he has a lot to say when it comes to the proccess of putting the outfits together, due to his experience with costuming from his acting work.

Won't go to cons with you, that's way too many sweaty people for his taste, but he gives some good advice on how to avoid people who don't know what look but don't touch means.

Epel Felmier

Another one that doesn't get the media-focused aspect of cosplaying much. Epel can probably recognize a couple characters you dress up as, but he's just not that into the stuff. He does think it's cool, though, and when he can see the similarities between the characters and your cosplays, he gets pretty excited.

Is vaguely scared by the amount of effort that goes into it as he begins to understand it more. Things like makeup, styling and caring for wigs, contact lenses, having to DYI accessories... Epel feels lost when you talk about it, and he knows he definitely couldn't do something like that at all.

Goes to cons with you if you invite him, though he has no idea what's going on around him. Will have a fun time if he can see stuff on the two or three shounens he's a fan of, though.

Lilia Vanrouge

Really into it actually. Lilia has a bit of an otaku streak too, and with how he saw other people online having that much fun with cosplaying, he felt compelled to try. He never got too serious about it, but seeing how good your cosplays look makes him wish he did.

You going mostly for mainstream content doesn't really bother him. You get recognized more often that way, right? Lilia sees the work you put into your costumes, he knows it'd be a shame if you just did all of that and no one paid much mind to it since they didn't know what character it was.

Will not only attend cons but also cosplay with you too! He jokes about not being nearly as good as you and usually goes for simpler characters, but you two will definitely have a blast together.

Floyd Leech

He thinks you look so cool! Really loves it whenever you show him your new finished costumes, they always have so much detail put into them! Floyd will circle around you and point them out, sometimes compare with what he remembers from previous cosplays, but either way he's just really enjoying how his Shrimpy looks, and will brag about it to anyone willing to listen.

However, he... doesn't understand the stuff going on behind the scenes, really. Maybe he recognizes a character or two but he isn't very invested in any shows or games, being very much the type to drop media in a whim, and all the work you have to do to put the costumes together just... eludes him.

He'll go to cons with you if he feels like it, though! Which ends up being pretty often, since there's always a thing or two at them that grab his attention. Floyd is a surprisingly good con buddy, easy to find in the crowd and scary enough that no weirdos dare to mess with you, plus he's just fun to be around.

- he doesn’t want you to see him cry, that’s just showing his vulnerability to you, and he hates it. but you always reassure him, it’s okay!

- you let him cry in your chest, hugging his head close to you, telling him it’s okay, he’s always enough, and maybe even more than enough.

- you’re literally heartbroken when you start to see tears slipping out of his eyes ☹️

- babie is also a victim of insecurities. denki feels that he is too dumb, too ugly, and just too unworthy of your love and affection.

- when he short wires, he always needs your care, and he just feels like he’s too much of a hassle. kami also is insecure that he’s too low on the hero rankings, and is afraid he can’t protect you like he promises.

- of course, all these thoughts and insecurities are untrue! you tell him he’s one of the best boyfriends ever </3 he’s obviously worthy of your love.

- hitoshi has always been insecure since his high school years, and when he’s a hero, it’s not different. even more after he got with you, the most perfect human being he has ever met in his eyes.

- “i’m never enough” “they’re too good for me” “i’m the worst.” these are the thoughts he tells you while crying into your chest.

- your cat crawls into your lap too, nuzzling against the both of you, calming down shinsou a bit. “see, even mochi is reassuring you, ‘toshi!”

- he definitely feels better after letting all his emotions go, and your comfort always makes him feel good.

bakugou katsuki

- we all know katsuki has many of his own insecurities, and never tells them to anyone for his own image. when he’s around you, he wants to be a strong figure, someone who can protect you from everything and everyone.

- after losing to izuku many times in the past, and even now, he starts to feel as if he isn’t strong enough to even protect you from harm. of course, these things aren’t even true.

- “i know i shouldn’t care about what rank or whatever deku is, but i can’t help but... but think i’m not strong enough..”

- it was really a rare sight to see your boyfriend in such state. the last time you saw him cry, was when he failed to save a civilian.

-“katsu, it’s okay to feel weak at times, but you will always be strong no matter what, and i trust you will always come to save me, no matter the situation. so please, don’t cry, i hate to see you cry..”

ruv could literally care less about your species. you’re an angel, so what? it won’t change the fact that he loves you.

he’s secretly amazed by the fact that you’re an angel and chose to date him. what good could you possibly have seen in him?

it takes him a while to warm up to you; he’s not the best person, but once you convince him that you don’t secretly hate him, he’s more trusting of you.

he adores your wings. they’re so fluffy! so much warmth. if he’s allowed to, he’ll touch them a lot. he’s very gentle with them and absolutely loves to feel them when you’re cuddling. they’re a big comfort to him.

ruv likes how soft-spoken and patient you are. you two are polar opposites yet you manage to balance each other out.  

he hates being vulnerable; you help him so much with expressing his emotions. he struggles a lot with it and he’s thankful to have someone else to go to for help.

he’s your personal bodyguard and nothing will change that. if anyone’s out of place when talking to you, he will intimidate them with his glare. if they don’t drop it, he’ll deal with them later on in the day.

there are special and rare moments where ruv tries to smile for you, even if it puts him in pain. though his smile is wonky, he’s happy as long as you appreciate his efforts.

bonus if you like to bake/cook! though ruv is a picky eater, there’s a chance you’ll be able to figure out some stuff he may like. you can always go to sarvente for help!

when she first met you, she was ecstatic. someone who managed to get into heaven became her friend?? how cool!

sarvente doesn’t see you any different as an angel. your species may be sworn enemies, but she doesn’t see you that way.

sarv is afraid to tell you that she’s a demon. she doesn’t wanna risk losing you over that; she’d be devastated if she did. she isn’t as courageous when it comes to confronting you about it.

when you’re watching her transform into her otherworldly form for her last song, you’re surprised. why didn’t she tell you sooner? when you push that aside and continue to cheer her on, she’s on the brink of tears.

after her song she’ll apologize for not telling you. her hands are frantically waving everywhere, trying to her best to explain her reasoning. when you wrap your arms around her and give her a kiss, she’s a blushing mess.

so happy you were accepting! she loves you 100x more now. sarvente cherishes the love she receives and returns it tenfold.

she’s always so happy to see your halo! it’s so cute; it’s been a while since she’s seen one, too. she will ask you lots of questions about your wings, halo, etc.

she’s just so interested in it! she’d love to see your wings, she’ll even show you hers in return. when your wings brush against each other, she’s so embarrassed!

Yandere Childe obsessed with a fellow Harbinger

Hell yes you can! This rq actually made me procrastinate the Albedo piece I’ve been working on I have Thoughts a Feelings about this

What makes Childe a scary yandere is a delicate mix of being powerful and pretty openly amoral. He’s smart, he’s got money, he’s strong, he’s unhinged. He’s gonna dangle something above your head and snatch you when you dare to reach.

But if you’re a harbinger? You’re an equal in almost every way. Since Childe canonically is also the youngest, you even have seniority over him in that aspect.

But that’s all a part of the fun for him. Childe is a chaser at heart, and he’s going to make you beg for a swift end to his unrelenting pursuit.

If you like him at all, whether as a friend, a comrade in arms, even just a friendly acquaintance, then this will put you at a significant advantage. You both are in the same dangerous business, so you will be aware how much destruction he is responsible for. He won’t push his luck and deliberately get you to dislike him. He’s glad that you like him, and will use that against you.

If you don’t like him, then he’ll be all the more obnoxious. Don’t misunderstand, he does want you to like him, but that can come later once he’s broken you down enough. Since you don’t like him anyway, he’s comfortable saying the worst things to get a reaction from you.

Either way? He wants to fight you so bad and so often. You are a harbinger for a reason, and he loves to see you show him why. You can spar, but that’s often not enough. He wants to see how you behave when your life is truly at its edge.

If/when you guys ever fight side by side it’s insane. He plays off of you so well. He’s observed you long enough to know how you fight and wants you to think it’s because the two of you are soulmates or something, and not because he’s watched you practice pretty much any opportunity since he’s become a harbinger. He lives for the battle couple dream, and wants you to acknowledge his strength.

Once Childe is done playing around and wants reciprocation, he’ll get bold (well. Bolder)

He’s going to use your equal status against you. You’re on a mission in Fontaine? Well he’s off he can come and offer his help! What are you going to do, whine to the Tsaritsa? He’s helping you as a fellow harbinger! It’s not like you can fight him in earnest either, that’s forbidden.

In his mind, his ideal is that the two of you go on to become the ultimate power couple and take over the world side by side, hand in hand. He’s okay with distance, so you could continue your servitude to the Tsaritsa.

If you consented to a relationship with him with no push back, you’d find he’s really comfortable letting you think you have your own space, but will test your boundaries from time to time. He’ll have agents and diplomats under you report to him about you when the two of you are apart.

However, any resistance will tell him that you need to learn that he is stronger than you. Even if he isn’t, initially. He will train until he is. If you won’t be with him when he gives you the choice, then he’ll remove the choice all together.

Intimidating you will not be easy, but the effort he puts into sabotaging your missions is worth it. Things will go so specifically wrong that you’ll question your role. If you’ve been friends or friendly up until this point, Childe will swoop in and help, saving your reputation that he put in jeopardy.

More entertaining (to him, anyway) is when you hold animosity towards him, and he watches as you become the black sheep of the harbingers because of your failures. If you were to disappear now, everyone would assume you couldn’t handle the scrutiny.

And when you do, no one is the wiser. He’ll keep you underground, in a prison-like bunker, making you believe you’ve been imprisoned for your failures, and that Childe had been put in charge of your custody.

He makes you stay fit, but you vision and delusion are stripped from you.

He’d make your mind into putty, and then knead it into someone loyal to him and love only him. Once you’ve been broken down and rebuilt, you’re free to go, but where would you go that isn’t at Childe’s side?

sooooo this is an au thats been in the works for a few weeks now! Ive been calling it the ForgetMeNot AU but @spudinacup​ has been calling them the Dust Bunnies and i just.... lets just say its an alternative name 

to put this au in the briefest description, this is a direct spin-off of the GONE WRONG AU (thank you spud for enabling me) where a divergence in events leads to Steven's body getting cremated and his ashes being spread over the hill where Steven died/where the injector landed, for ceremonial purposes. This au also incorporates a theory/au that @faranae​ has that involves the injector originally being used to create new gems/spinels. With this in mind, cremation ashes are commonly used to create diamonds to put in jewelry as memorabilia. So, with those two concepts in mind... i’m sure you can see where im going with this

(This au is based entirely around the events that will happen in the GW AU, events that I am in no way privy to how they occur so i’m just here for the ride, folks)

•Cloud•

   Pronouns: They/them (occasional he???)

   Age: Last to emerge

   Flaw: Twinning wisps (in layman’s terms, when too many outside elements interfere and stunt the growth of the diamond) (design more heavily based on this) 

   Symptoms: light projection is underdeveloped. Black misshapen “skin” is warped over crystalline “nursery clusters”. (I headcanon that in the early stages of gem growth, their entire form is nothing more than a small, light projection cluster of the gem their made of, but then this condenses into one spot, the gem, thus leaving behind the refined light projection and hardening the gem.) The underdeveloped skin is black/reddish because of the presence of other elements, receding it’s formation.

   Personality: All three are curious about the world, sure, but only Cloud is as forward with their intrigue. They have the mentality of “This interests me, I am going to learn more.” Which often leads them to invading boundaries and personal bubbles.    They are the most likely out of the three to ask questions and strike up conversation (that is, at least, when they learn English. Even though I can still see them trying to anyway even with broken English lol) making them very charismatic and friendly. This, in turn, makes Cloud act as the three’s door to learning more about this new world they’ve found themselves in.

   Other Notes:    - Representation of Pink Diamond. Poofy pants, Leotard over pants, Flats. Their Personality also reflects this, mimicking Pink Diamonds childlike curiosity and hunger for knowledge about life on earth.    - Meant to mimic Steven’s friendly nature.

•Sky•

   Pronouns: She/He/They

   Age: second to emerge

   Flaw: Clouding

   Symptoms: Pigment discoloration around eyes paired with iris colomba (poor vision)

   Personality: Sky is the grounding force of the group, they are the one to bring them back down to earth and be the calm when either of them go into their own heads too much. They are also fairly curious about the world but isn’t as direct about it, mostly preferring to observe from afar unless encouraged (or enabled) by the others (*coughcough* cloud *coughcough*) this isn’t to be confused with skittish, though. If sky were to be approached by someone unknown they wouldn’t run away, they’d most likely stay where they are and give you a funny look.    Sky will often need encouragement, direct or indirect, from the other two to make their own willing decisions, and will often parrot cloud or slug. Sky will often act as their dictionary or mental catalogue. If one of them forgets the word to something it’s likely sky will be the one to remember it.

   Other Notes:    -Representation of Rose Quartz. Shawl layer in the shape of RQ’s dress, loose ringlets, bare feet. Their personality reflects Rose Quartz’s mature and nurturing energy with the deep love for all those they hold dear.     - Meant to mimic Steven’s caring spirit    -due to iris colomba, her vision is very poor. But a symptom of iris colomba is the presence of floater spots in ones vision which, in children, can lead to a more developed use for peripheral vision. This is the case for Sky.

•Slug•

   Pronouns: He/They

   Age: First to emerge

   Flaw: Black Inclusions (bits of spinel?)

   Symptoms: Black splotches all over body, mental conflict (short temper, mild co-dependency)

   Personality: Being the first to emerge, Slug takes on the role of protector. This makes him very defensive and slightly possessive of the other sibling. He is the most antisocial of the group but can be easily swayed into any activity by the other two, especially when it comes to affection. He typically comes off as crass and rude to strangers (or anyone who isn’t sky or cloud), but if his trust is earned (with a lot of effort) he will show it rather than say it. Slug is the most visually observant and spatially aware out of the two and acts as their sharper set of eyes (this also going hand in hand with their role as protector).

   Other Notes:    - Representation of Steven. Jacket, (comparatively) shorter curly hair, sandals.    His personality reflects Stevens protective nature (and temper) and desire to help. Wanting nothing more than to be useful to those he cares about most.    - Meant to mimic Steven’s will to fight

•Overall Notes•

   • These gems emerge about 3-4 or so months after the current events of GONE WRONG (THIS IS LIKELY TO CHANGE) 

  • Each gems deformities/premature emergence all make these gems extremely brittle compared to a normal perfect cut diamond (or even a regular gem for that matter)

  • 3 gems instead of one was the fact that a pink diamond, in essence, is practically identical to a white diamond, as far as whats in it’s chemical compound to effect it’s color. With this in mind, its been explained before that White Diamond carries the essence of the entire spectrum. If this is true, then why wouldn’t a pink diamond if they’re practically identical? Therefore, the result of adding those residual properties of a pink diamond from within the ashes, would produce the “purest” forms of the spectrum. White, yellow, and blue. All of them tinted slightly with an ashy pinkish hue.

   • Many things were factors in their premature growth, but a main factor is the amount of injector fluid that was provided in the growing process. When spinel first lands the injector, its very apparent that there is plenty of fluid injected into the hill right upon impact. But in this circumstance, after the current events in Gone Wrong, the injector goes idle (or is possibly removed and relocated by/to Little Homeworld but that is completely up in the air and reliant on future events in GW.) and what little fluid was left behind by the injector was what was used to grow the three gems 

   • Currently, their vocabulary is very limited. They will normally speak in 1-3 word sentences unless they are parroting. Although, given that they are technically elite gem, albeit deformed, they do have the programming for an advanced ease of grasp on language. 

   • Because of their human influence, they have taken on specific traits of Steven. Yes, different physical aspects (facial features, body type, clothing, etc.) but they also gained instincts from Steven. Not to be confused with memories, but rather impressions of specific muscle memory.     Although they don’t need to, they will sometimes desire sleep or food, often unknowingly acting on human instincts. They will even find themselves drawn to specific things/places/people, finding them familiar or warming up to this thing/place/person with ease. (e.g. feeling familial attachment to Pink!Steven not long after first contact with him, with the exception of Slug (lol))     This can include, but is not limited to, other absent minded behaviors; such  as, inflections in speech, subtle ticks (i.e. humming, tapping feet, idle movements), specific hand gestures, ect.
