Minolta Auto Focus Tele. Shanghai GP3 100. Ilfosol 3 (1+14).
I think I've found the black and white film I like enough to buy in bulk (other than HP5, which is an obvious choice). Shanghai GP3 is stunning - the only editing I've done to these photos is to remove some scratches than the (old, pre-owned) camera put on the negatives as the roll was rewinding. If I had ~£90 spare I'd buy a 100' roll of this stuff right now and I just hope I can still get hold of it when I have the funds.
Developing this was the first time I've really felt like I was experimenting. The Massive Dev Chart app didn't have times for the combination of GP3 and Ilfosol 3, and the website only gave times for the 120 and slide film versions. But given that those times were the same for both I decided to just go with that number (12 minutes) and see how things turned out. I couldn't be happier with the results. If I can't pick up a bulk roll soon I'm absolutely going to buy another 36 exposure canister and shoot some of this in the OM-10.

In Defense of Shitty Queer Art
Queer art has a long history of being censored and sidelined. In 1895, Oscar Wilde’s novel The Picture of Dorian Gray was used as evidence in the author’s sodomy trials. From the 1930s to the 1960s, the American Hays Code prohibited depictions of queerness in film, defining it as “sex perversion.” In 2020, the book Steven Universe: End of an Era by Chris McDonnell confirmed that Rebecca Sugar’s insistence on including a sapphic wedding in the show is what triggered its cancellation by Cartoon Network. According to the American Library Association, of the top ten most challenged books in 2023, seven were targeted for their queer content. Across time, place, and medium, queer art has been ruthlessly targeted by censors and protesters, and at times it seems there might be no end in sight.
So why, then, are queer spaces so viciously critical of queer art?
Name any piece of moderately-well-known queer media, and you can find immense, vitriolic discourse surrounding it. Audiences debate whether queer media is good representation, bad representation, or whether it’s otherwise too problematic to engage with. Artists are picked apart under a microscope to make sure their morals are pure enough and their identities queer enough. Every minor fault—real or perceived—is compiled in discourse dossiers and spread around online. Lines are drawn, and callout posts are made against those who get too close to “problematic art.”
Modern examples abound, such as the TV show Steven Universe, the video game Dream Daddy, or the webcomic Boyfriends, but it’s far from a new phenomenon. In his book Hi Honey, I’m Homo!, queer pop culture analyst Matt Baume writes about an example from the 1970s, where the ABC sitcom titled Soap was protested by homophobes and queer audiences alike—before a single episode of the show ever aired. Audiences didn’t wait to actually watch the show before passing judgment and writing protest letters.
After so many years starved for positive representation, it’s understandable for queer audiences to crave depictions where we’re treated well. It’s exhausting to only ever see the same tired gay tropes and subtext, and queer audiences deserve more. Yet the way to more, better, varied representation is not to insist on perfection. The pursuit of perfection is poison in art, and it’s no different when that art happens to be queer.
When the pool of queer art is so limited, it feels horrible when a piece of queer art doesn’t live up to expectations. Even if the representation is technically good, it’s disappointing to get excited for a queer story only for that story to underwhelm and frustrate you.
But the world needs that disappointing art. It needs mediocre art. It even needs the bad art. The world needs to reach a point where queer artists can fearlessly make a mess, because if queer artists can only strive for perfection, the less art they can make. They may eventually produce a masterpiece, but a single masterpiece is still a drop in the bucket compared to the oceans of censorship. The only way to drown out bigotry and offensive stereotypes created by bigots is to allow queer artists the ability to experiment, learn through making mistakes, and represent their queer truth even if it clashes with someone else’s.
If queer artists aren’t allowed to make garbage, we can never make those masterpieces everyone craves. If queer artists are terrified at all times that their art will be targeted both by bigots and their own queer communities, queer art cannot thrive.
Let queer artists make shitty art. Let allies to queer people try their hand at representation, even if they miss the mark. Let queer art be messy, and let the artists screw up without fear of overblown retribution.
It’s the only way we’ll ever get more queer art.

ok heres how i split up the dnp eras (loosely based on dan's timeline in his interview w anthony)
2009-2011: the Sillies era :3 dan refered to it as being a dumb teen just posting cuz he was bored, which is like, thats what all of youtube culture was at this time. they met and like fell in love or whatever you know the lore dont you. phil moved from his parents home to his first apartment in manchester, and dan technically moved to uni but really he moved into phil's apartment to take advantage of his washing machine and ps1 and. yknow. other stuff. they officially moved in together in 2011 yippee hooray, the phanchester apartment holds a special place in my heart
2012-2013: THE SHIFT. they started getting Serious about youtube as a career, doing more stuff w the radio, superamazingproject started in 2011 but THE SHIFT is very easy to observe when you compare the first season of sap to the last season. ALSO. they were NOT A DOUBLE ACT AND NOT GAY 🙄. it could also be called the No Homo era lmao idk this is when a lot of shitty things were happening wrt leaked information, harassment of their families, and just generally becoming more in the spotlight especially while still in the closet being a horrible experience. but also, they moved to london and got cool opportunities with radio stuff and were starting to actually make a living on this shit.
2014-2016: Peak Dan And Phil™ Era. at the height of their popularity. they realized oh shit, we ARE a double act and not only does everyone enjoy us best as a double act, WE enjoy working together. tabinof, tatinof, dapgo, still doing the radio every month up until they start touring, 7 second challenge app, gamingmas, what the hell DIDNT they do during this time period (what they didnt do was uhh take care of themselves and not overwork and not blur their work and personal lives so much to the point where they felt like the whole apartment was a film set.)
2017-2018: Gay Softlaunch Era (aka post-baking aka glass closet) the baby steps toward authenticity, moved to the double apartment to separate work and life, ii's whole theme, dan talking abt depression, phil getting the quiff, both of them being gay as hell in every way other than saying it explicitly. important things of note: TRUTH BOMBS dropped, Interactive Introverts happened, still uploading gaming vids and honestly by the end you could feel their fatigue. and then they hiatused dapg.
2019-2022: ok these four years each feel like whole eras in themselves, but also theres an overarching theme. THE GAY ERA.
2019: im gonna futher split this year in half. first half- dad left to buy milk so other dad is taking care of us. rough six months for dannies im sure. important phil thing of note- he changed his film set from his "bedroom" to a fairly basic but cute shelf backdrop. honestly prob didnt wanna keep pretending that was his bedroom considering.... second half- DAN AND PHIL GAY. dan uploads his magnum opus. phil comes out via tweet. they go to japan and its really gay and it's The Trip to japan for them like yes they first went in 2015 and again in 2023, but Japhan 2.0 Was The One. what does this mean? proposal? anniversary? idk exactly but it was gay as hell dude and theyve talked about that trip with such love in their hearts.
2020: Phandemic (sorry that was bad) but also where tf is dan again? even with the big C-word happening, it was business as usual for phil, regular vids but make em gayer, caught a pigeon nbd, and end of the year introduces the Stereo app show Phil and Phriends where he's had chats with pj, louise, his brother, seth everman?????, and finally. dan reappears. they reveal that they bought and FULLY PLANNED a house together and are ready to move!
2021: they don't move house for another like six months! basically their house was (and is??) still being worked on AND they were in lockdown AND turns out at the end of last year, they were kicked from their Life apartment and were now living in the Work apartment so you can imagine what all of this can do to their psyche and lowkey they were getting sick of each other like it wasnt just bordering on phivorce it was nearly Phurder. Phidow. but to fill the time so that DOESNT happen, my favorite fucking thing ever happens: Lockdown Lads (and all the other names). the first taste of what a dnp podcast would sound like, with the added bonus of chaotic listener interaction. oh yeah also dan wrote a mental health guide book whatever (IM KIDDING I REALLY LIKE YWGTTN I WROTE LIKE TWO REVIEWS ON IT NOW) and they finally become Homosexual Homeowners. theres quite a bit more dnp content this year, dan being on phils channel a bit more, the phodcasts, dan's gay and not proud special.... oh yeah and hometown showdown i guess AND TEXT VIDEO 2!!! my favorite and my namesake!!!!!!!
2022: Prophecy Year..... but they didnt get married. dan returns with another longass video to say: hey i hate being a youtuber and also youtube majorly fucked me over. but also fuck that im gonna do a weird talk show and ALSO GO ON TOUR WITH THIS APOCALYPSE THEME! phil actually... slows down this year. more dan uploads than phil somehow??? but also Dan Is Leaving me is posted and i go completely insane and become the deranged individual you see today. WHICH FINALLY LEADS US TOOOOOO
2023-present: The Unhinged Era. dan's tour was a huge Emotional success for him but uh not without its hiccups due to management and all that and i think he and phil finally realize. Fuck It Who Cares. dan flies back to england FROM AUSTRALIA to make sure he can be with his future ex-husband on his birthday. CAKE HEART EMOJI. YELLOW PLAID SHACKET. they go on a gamer date and post a picture of playing footsies in a cab. THE PHUDE HAPPENS. they go to japan again and while this one will never be The One it was still a well earned holiday this time with bryony! and they took a bunch of very cute film camera pictures.... THIS IS ALL JUST THE FIRST HALF OF 2023 BTW. in phil news, he talks about going to therapy and figuring out how to manage his anxiety!!!! he changes his hair again!! he hires an editor, phan is his otp, he teases about the gaming channel a couple of times but so many of us already dropped any hope of that returning- OH WAIT WHAT THE FUCK?!!!? HUH!??!? they returned, and more chaotic than ever before. the gayness upped to the max, the Weirdness on full speed, the Horniness at Very Scary Levels Oh God Stop Talking About Dogging, phil can swear uncensored now???? and this energy has continued into today...

Slasher!twst introduction…graphic for those who are sensitive to murder and overall fucked up shit in general.
I do not condone or support this behavior in any way, this is for entertainment purposes and for those who enjoy slasher films (it's where I got inspired off of) and not glorify actual serial killers.
basic tw. murder, human trafficking, abuse of power, clearly unhinged and purposely not good characters, mentions of snuff films, stalking, cannibalism, mentioned beheading.
Note: might come back to add more stuff and fix grammar lolz
Tumblr media
Riddle
A doctor who craves to see his patients insides. Riddle finds everyone to be unique, during his years in the medical field he’s seen it all. Unlike most people he’s intrigued on the human body, almost taking the role as a psychiatrist but it’s nice to be up and personal with a corpse.
He wishes to understand every single aspect of the human body and brain, there is so much to learn and see. He’s kept a couple of his patients eyes in his lab, staring back at his favorites in remembrance of their once living memory.
Hot tempered however. Abuses the power that he’s a doctor, someone you should trust in health and well being. It kinda gets him off. Besides that he can’t stand patients who don’t listen, snobby and lack manners when he’s asking questions. An easy killer to avoid, just don’t catch his attention.
Trey
Did you see it coming? The friendly baker who’s pastries taste so good yet different no matter the brand. Trey is great at avoiding conflict, his victims are loners, people who don’t have much of a name. No one would suspect him because Trey made it his duty to befriend the law, clean from their records.
Trey had killed off a classmate that bothered him or snuck their nose in places it shouldn’t be. Resulting his decision to hide the evidence by making it into deserts. Or better, meals prepped for guests he plans on bringing over. When he doesn’t need to use his unique magic he eats it as it is. Human flesh doesn’t taste as bad as media says.
Calm and friendly. Someone you wouldn’t expect. Probably lures his victims by giving false hope, he can help you with anything you need. Seduction if needed, get you to isolate yourself so no one would suspect he was behind it. Another easy killer to avoid, don’t pry into his business.
Cater
Makes snuff films. Pretty popular for his cherry attitude and quirky kills. Got into this kind of stuff in high school, at first he was disturbed, but it grew on him the more his curiosity got the better of him. Becomes more self aware of people’s likes and dislikes, this sick thought that he can harm someone. Kill, someone’s daughter, son, and baby he could kill. With hopes and dreams, he can take it all.
Two-faced, he’s great at pretending, a little too good at being your trendy friend who enjoys giving his fans what they want. And he does exactly that. It was the attention he never thought he’d be addicted to. The praise and vulgar language, amusing.
Victims range from how popular and known you are, or if you really caught his eye and he thinks you can scream just right. His unique magic makes great use, multitasking on being in places he shouldn’t be, getting information and learning his victim’s routines. Those who love dressing cute, may you never cross this man.
Ace
A shitty killer, does it for fun. There’s nothing tragic for him he just thinks breaking the law is great….when he’s not caught, thanks to a little friend of his. Likes the adrenaline of a fight, resistance gets him off badly. Pants like a fucking dog if you’re bitchy, finds it hot when his victim can bite back. Brings him more of a challenge.
Picks up his victims from diners or the bar late at night. He’s got charm, unlike his high school years he’s learned to bite back his tongue and instead seduce his way through in situations. Here to impress, after a couple of failed attempts he’s gotten rid of he knows how to play his cards.
Gotten away with a lot of things. Like Trey he has befriended the law, the more corrupted side. The one that enjoys hurting the innocent, that understand the power trip of accusing and punishing. Deuce is his partner in crime, the two are almost regularly seen together.
Deuce
Genuinely wanted to help those in need. He saw himself as the savior in the story, he’s doing good by getting rid of the bad guys. But it’s starting to get boring. No matter how many times he’s slapped himself with water or stare at the cells. The way some more of his aggressive officers handle their suspect started to irl him. In a way others would deem normal.
Man did he miss the feeling of slamming his fist into another’s, the crunching sound of his knuckles and their jaw was exciting. Like a rush of youth, their cowering expression brings him memories that he didn’t know existed. Who is he to lie to himself that what he’s doing is wrong, it feels right to put criminals back in their place.
Respected by all. No one would bat an eye regarding his past records of violence during his school years. Deuce is a changed man they say, even when he’s with that play boy friend of his. He’s gotten better at controlling his bloodlust, the law honors a great officer like him.
Leona
It’s gotten rather lonely and boring lately. Leona had gone into some shady places to get the things he wanted. He’s no stranger to things such as assassins and human trafficking. That was something he was interested in, you only live once to do something fun. Such as owning a person. He’s a prince, it’s the least they can do to shut their mouth and let him have this moment.
Just as him, his family is corrupted, turning a blind eye to Leona’s hobby in collecting different types of victims to play with before discarding. Too many times did he wash the blood away and under his nails. Ravishing in their cries and last moments before taking it. Maybe it was the hunt he was after, but thinking about it that way reminded him of that hunter. Possible chance of them hunting together for sport.
No law can touch him. Not when hush hush money is being covered. Every eye witness is ordered to be silenced with threats and a wad of cash hovering above. Leona takes great interest in enthusiastic people, they rub him off in a nice way that makes him want to see them squirm.
Ruggie
Works for Leona. When Leona doesn’t find the time to buy his next toy that’s where Ruggie comes in. Ruggie has a good eye for candy that’s either sweet or sour, didn’t matter as long as they’re warm and breathing. Ruggie had dug himself deep into things he shouldn't at a young age, but the money was tempting, food was scarce so often relied on the dead people left behind after harvesting their organs.
Leona often gives him a treat for a job well done, getting rid of witnesses or naughty toys. Hyenas have teeth that can easily chew through bone, he's basically a garbage disposal for him. Not that he minds. In fact he loves the lifestyle he has at the moment.
This can go multiple ways, Ruggie is either Leona's personal assassin/helper or a cannibal by heart. But he prefers to work in the crowd, working all alone can have it's flaws, no better way than to have easy access. It's simple, when Leona is happy so is he.
Jack
Some sort of vigilant. Unlike the rest, he beats himself up for not controlling his emotions better. His more animalistic side gets the better of him when he sees the weak get pushed around. Multiple times has he actually tried to stop and get help, but his brain mushes and stretches each time he's seen something dead, unmoving, bloodied and crying in front of him. As if it was right to hurt them. There's so many people who are bad, he'll do the right thing by getting rid of them one by one.
This doesn't go as planned, he's built up some degree of blood lust, a need to excuse his behavior. Slowly getting into denial that what he's doing is ok, as long as no one knows. From killing off bad people to taking in those he deemed interesting. It was normal he said, a wolf needed to protect the weak. Whether they want it or not.
Jack isn't dumb but his victims are usually scared shitless to reason with him. But with a more collected person they can try talking it out with him. Jack however can get possessive because said victim has a point. You understand Jack, you helped him with all the burden and worry. He can't let you leave now tho...
Azul
Everything Azul had was all built up from scratch. He's made some unpleasant decisions to get to where he is now. High off of power and greed he cared little. His morals stripped the second he shakes hand with governments officials. They pay large sums to trade, buy, and sell things for the sake of their country. Organs play a great game into his empire, with the help of the twins social net work he was able to be top dog. Yet up in the surface he's nothing but a gentleman.
Azul gets his hands dirty by obtaining illegal substance and trafficking. Getting himself into these types of business opened his eyes to a whole new world, people are willing to do anything to survive, it's horrible and harsh. But it's starting to grow on him.
He's built connections with corrupted officials for the sake of enjoyment, it's nothing but fun for his customers. He's all too happy to supply them with things that'll keep them satisfied. All of this influenced him to have a cute thing of his own. Wouldn't it show just how much power he has?
Jade and Floyd
They work for Azul, he's just full of surprises! Jade and Floyd are kept busy with doing Azul's dirty work, relieving in targeting their newest victim so they can be sold off. Or knocking at a mans doorstep because he didn't pay Azul back on time. It's a sense of rush, the urge to harm and cause chaos among the innocent. Their job is to keep tabs on clients for any potential scammers, snatching people off the street in the middle of the night, sort of like the mafia but worse.
There is a low chance in encountering them or becoming their victim because of connections to their business. Alter egos, well associated with celebrities or people in power. And they're mostly seen with Azul as body guards, the ones actually doing the more "dirty work" for him. Discarding bodies or simply eating them to quickly get the job done.
Jade is interested in keeping something for the sake of experimenting or true relations. Floyd often have quick hook ups with people he finds interesting before getting bored again. Horrible and cruel with their things, none yet to survive, their parents have yet to complain in need of grandchildren and to further expand family business.
Kalim
Has some type of connection with Azul. Not much besides the trafficking. Something much more sinister under all those smiles, either because of his position or he's great and should do theater is the reason he faces no consequences. Family like the Leech are similar when it comes to traditions, keeping those in power satisfied with twisted and inhumane products. Kalim is probably desensitized, because at a young age it was taught to be normal to traffic those paid high enough. No longer seen as human.
Still very kind to others however, just much more aware and less dense when it comes to more darker subjects. Doesn't get his hands dirty, controls what route or person is taken in, receipts and what not. No hard feelings, maybe just don't be poor/jk
Encountering him is hard, must be related through connections or snooping too much. Like Leona, had many playthings in the past almost like a harem of those who passed his test. Nothing but sweet to his victims because he believes they get to experience pleasure before dying.
Jamil
Plays the same role in canon, Kalim's bodyguard/servant. In this AU he has not yet to envy Kalim as they set foot in the same page. Instead understanding each other through words and acts of loyalty. Has killed at a young age in order to protect Kalim, finds it his purpose to enjoy life while he has the chance. Disturbingly enjoys his job because he has an urge for bloodlust, possible sociopath. Helps get rid of unwanted enemies that are after Kalim in revenge.
Taunts his victims a lot, usually uncaring unlike Kalim. Innocent or not he's ruthless when it comes to disposing of them, gives him a sense of adrenaline in hurting those who did no wrong. Power abusing his status and strength for the fun of it. When not protecting Kalim he goes on his way to meet potential clients who wish to buy someone off or have them killed.
Stalks his victims and always a step ahead, interestingly enough if he finds them intriguing he might just keep them alive for a while. It's nice getting to know someone unwillingly before taking their lives, the thought of their future and life in his hands irks him to continue. Until he gets attached.
Vil
A killer who nobody would suspect as well. Vil is a famous and well known celebrity, who knew his hobby was stalking some more attractive fans and committing unspeakable crimes. Started this hobby in high school. Was somewhat detached as a child as he used to kill small rodents and was home schooled by private and strict teachers. As an actor he does an amazing job in not getting suspected of things people wouldn't think he had the guts to do.
With his magic in going undercover the paparazzi have trouble finding him, they're exhausting so he takes out his frustrations by eyeing pretty things that either adore him or unsuspecting. His reasons are fueled with envy towards those who are kind and considerate, a nobody that catches his eye. So he starts going for both.
Money can do a lot to satisfy his killing spree taking those he favorites and keep their bodies somewhere in one of his penthouses. In a room hidden underground, their body is plastered in a way he'd call art, hanging on the ceiling or kept in glass containers.
Rook
Family tradition to take unsuspecting hikers or foreigners as a sport. Instead of hunting for animals they hunt for people. Once a year the Hunt family meet up with their victims to set them free in whichever area was picked to search for them later on. A game of cat in mouse and usually Rook beats his siblings to these types of games. Can get very attached to his victims, finds every one of them beautiful when alive and dead.
He lives rather far from the city, having to move place to place because of his family's games. This gives him more opportunities to meet new people and find potential victims. Like any hunter, he's sharp and gets straight to the point, police have trouble finding the killer that's been abducting random hikers.
Pretty basic to encounter, because he spends most of his times living in the middle of the woods far away from civilization. I've seen the trend of Rook being a slasher like ghostface and I'm here for it, this is just my take on him in this au, much more darker.
Epel
The type of slasher to get away with everything because of pretty privilege. In this au Epel willingly cross dresses to trick his victims. Bias he was inspired to become a slasher because of movies. What exactly spiraled him to get into these type of things was for the sake of petty revenge. Tired of being seen as weak and fragile, he finds it amusing to see the confused and terrified look on their face when he's revealed to be their misfortune.
He gets really into his hobby, deceiving men who assumed he was a girl and easily befriending their families in case fingers were pointed at him. In fact Epel actually has several identities regarding cross dressing. He doesn't stay very long in places and tends to move when he can.
Victims? Majority are men he dislikes when first meeting. It's rare of him to go after girls, at times he will correct them if they misgender him or he plays along. Meaning putting up the act of a girl best friend. This usually happens if he's interested.
Idia and Ortho
Corrupted during his childhood. Had access to the internet and parents just weren't watching what he was looking at. Idia has seen it all, with the murders, snuff films, and inappropriate ads. It stuck with Idia through adult hood, all his years he's lived in guilt and fear, he's more unstable and lets his thoughts get the better of him. And Ortho makes it worse. It's unsure if Idia is seeing Ortho and hallucinating his voice, he blames that he's the source for all of his killings. All of the failed experiment and loved ones that "passed" away.
Ortho is dead in this au, Idia just can't accept that. But this forms him into who he is now, his family cover up whatever shit he's done, in fact they encourage Idia to do what he must if it made him happy. I wouldn't say they are shitty, because they know exactly what they're doing.
Idia had grown an obsession with trying to revive the dead, or make humans stay longer, he already failed with Ortho and is willing to spare more lives for the sake of science. His victims are people he met online, trollers or crushes to be exact.
Malleus
Malleus is a powerful fae who is influenced by his status, with that power comes a tendency for arrogance and a sense of being above the rules and law. This can be seen in his treatment of others in his kingdom, but it's (not) safe to say he prefers to go after humans instead. it could certainly lead to a sense of entitlement and a lack of regard for the lives of others. Additionally, he is a very passionate character who can easily become consumed by his emotions, and if those emotions are negative, it can lead to a desire for revenge or a need to assert his power and authority through violent means.
After years of being neglected only anger was left, he doesn't see people around him as equal rather than pawns. It's due to jealousy does he tend to lash out on those who either wronged him, throwing fits and tantrums when things don't go his way. Malleus has a glimpse of a child-like behavior when consumed by these emotions, having to replace one too many maids when crossed his paths.
He may be attracted to targets that are also powerful or notable in some way. This could include powerful magic users, royalty, or prominent figures within the magical community. Alternatively, he may also target those who have wronged him in some way, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Lilia
war veteran that craves the glory and violence when it came to the human and fae war. He’s not like crazy sadistic or anything but killing when “necessary.” Which is a bad excuse because he doesn’t feel bad when harming bystanders that accidentally trip their way into his business. Also being a war veteran he’s highly respected so no one is on his ass when suspecting.
I’d say he’d miss the way skin goes under his nails, having a life in your hands is exhilarating to say the least. It’s almost comforting to him because of how harsh his days were back then. Headcanon that Lilia fought in war at a very young age, traumatic yet he’s addicted to the very thing that harms him. It’s unhealthy but I think he’s in a position to not care, being highly respected of his status is a free way ticket.
Silver
Not a slasher. A poor unexpecting citizen who’s friends with psychos. Silver is kind of a victim in this AU…? Sometimes Silver finds things he should’ve left behind, but in the goodness of his heart he seeks out the problem of his “friends” disappearance. Because of this Lilia regularly has to keep up with Silver so he doesn’t make those mistakes again. Using magic to reduce his memory of the night he saw a woman get beheaded, his son too kind for this world.
But he can be your friend in here!!! Befriending Silver is almost like a golden token, less likely to be victim depending on who’s eye you’ve caught. Some won’t care if you’re under his protection and Lilia’s. Silver could get attached to you tho, causing him to get unpleasant thoughts of wanting to keep you safe, even by force.
Slasher of a making? Lilia would find this an opportunity to fill his head with scenarios and create a false impression of his doings. He’s right to keep you, it’s for your own good and everyone around him keeps leaving. You’re all he has left.
Sebek
By slasher I mean background character lmaoo. As usual, works with Malleus as his personal guard. You could’ve been so many things to get in a situation with Sebek/Malleus, having been bought or maybe a friend of Malleus that he grows to resent. Sebek knows better then to let anger get the best of him, having blood on his hands are a normal occurrence especially when assassins tend to come left and right. So he’s always alert and very distanced when it comes to forming a relationship.
Some sort of executer, gets rid of any evidence from either within the castle or a good hunt. Much more connected to his animalistic urges but can easily overcome them. Anything grotesque sets him off to harm those around him. His hunger for any sort of flesh is unmatched, worse than any other beastfolk as he consumes it raw and alive.
Sebek would be the last person you’ll ever meet because encountering him is very very random. He’s a busy person who is barely seen in public unless it’s for important events that includes Malleus being there.

There is so much to unpack from the sticker video!!! Here are some of my observations:
Max obviously being better at hiding it with a pat-pat, which Charles gives a smile to (aka seems normal to him)
Charles leaning in to Max pulling him in
Max’s arm lingering (aka once again, he knew how to disguise the sticker placement , boy has been PLANNING this)
Little neck squeeze
Max’s little giddy face looking back at the camera
Charles being much less subtle with his placement
Turning to the camera to make sure it’s filming, like be less obvious Charles 😭 what is this
Charles struggling with the sticker
Terribly disguising the placement, he literally smacks it on and runs away like a child doing ding dong ditch
Max looking at him like “seriously? I just did it to you! You suck at this” with a fond smile
Max reaching back for it, still smiling like an idiot
The fact they were probably briefed about this like, oh this is a PR thing, have these stickers and try to put them on each other but they instantly took it a competition
Max getting him first so well with Charles not noticing because he’s used to being touched by him more
Charles probably noticing right after and getting playfully mad Max somehow also beat him to this silly challenge
So instead of trying to do it well, he just jumps to the first opportunity to get him back, no matter how shitty the job
Also, Charles didn’t take off the RB sticker, it’s still there 😳 max didn’t quite reach the Ferrari sticker either
Might add more as I watch it for the 100th time
A month ago, this would have been silly fan fiction but this is real! On main!

In the 4 months since working at Family Video. Y/n L/n had never once worked a shift with Steve Harrington. Sure, they had run into each other a couple times, sharing a co-worker and best friend, Robin Buckley, but the two had never been alone together.
That was, until this Monday.
Monday’s were always slow which is why Y/n was looking forward to spending her whole shift gossiping and talking movies with Robin. But when she opened the door, the last person she expected to see was the former “king” of Hawkins High.
“Hey,” Steve said, awkwardly shifting his weight between his two feet.
“I-I thought Robin was working today,” was all she could muster to say.
“She’s sick, I’m just filling in.”
Nodding, Y/n warily made her way over to the front desk, putting her stuff behind the counter. What was she going to do for eight hours with Steve Harrington? From the little she knew about him, they were total opposites. He like sports, shitty blockbusters and went through women like they were nothing. There was nothing she could possibly think of that would make for interesting conversation with him.
Instead of attempting to make small talk about the weather and whatever new burger Benny decided to put on his menu, she opted for complete separation from him. After placing her bag on the ground, pulling out her water to keep on the small shelf below the register, she turned to face him.
“Keith hasn’t reorganized this place since we were sophomores so I’m gonna go do that,” she said, walking away from the counter, not waiting for a response.
“What about customers?” she heard him say from behind.
“It’s a Monday. I say we’re gonna have 5 customers for the entire day tops.”Turning into an isle, she opted to start with the arthouse films.
“Hmm I say seven.”
Peeking her head from around the corner, she looked at him confused. He leaned against the counter, a smirk on his face like he had just predicted the Y2K problem.
“Are you trying to challenge me?” she asked, unsure of what game he was playing.
Shrugging his shoulders, he emerged from behind the counter. “Maybe I am. What do you say? Five or less, you win. Seven or more, I do.”
“What about in between?”
“Let’s call it a draw.”
Rolling her eyes, she withdrew back into the arthouse section. “Whatever to get you to stop talking, Harrington.”
It was a good 30 minutes before they spoke again. Nobody came in, like expected, but she could hear him fidgeting with something on the other side of the room. She didn’t care, though, let him do what he wanted it wasn’t bothering her… until it was.
“Alright, what do you think?” he said, turning into the isle. He held up a drawing, not a particularly good one as Y/n couldn’t tell what it was supposed to be.
“Of the blob you drew?” she asked, putting another tape back on the shelf.
“It’s not a blob! It’s Mrs. Talc! The math teacher. You had her too right? We were in the same class?”
Y/n couldn’t contain her laughter. She brought a hand up to her mouth trying to hold back but it wasn’t working. “Yeah, we were but she didn’t look like that.”
Steve smiled, looking at his drawing and back at her. “I think it looks exactly like her.”
She kept laughing, Steve joining along as he moved next to her, picking up a film from her pile to organize. As the chuckles died down, she looked at him, smiling as he carefully placed the films back on the shelf. It was a moment before he realized her stare.
“What?” he asked, placing another tape on the shelf.
“N-nothing,” she said quickly, grabbing a tape herself. “I didn’t know you actually knew how to work here.”
“Hey, I can do my job!”’
“Yeah but you’re Steve. King Steve who if I remember correctly, was failing Mrs. Talc’s class.” That seemed to strike a chord with him. She watched as his small smile disappeared, leaving a solemn expression on his face. “S-sorry I didn’t mean-“
“-No it’s okay,” he interrupted her. “I was King Steve, or at least that’s what everyone labeled me as… You were right I was failing Talc, but I’m different now. Changed for the better -hopefully.”
He took the last film, placing it on the shelf before looking down at her. She didn’t know what to say after judging him so harshly. Before even getting the chance to apologize, the front bell rang, indicating a customer walking in.
Steve backed up, his gaze dropping to the floor. “I’ll go help them out,” he said, walking away without waiting for a response.
She felt like shit, bringing up high school drama that he clearly wanted to forget. He was right, about him changing. If this was still high school he wouldn’t even be speaking to her right now - she was surprised that he even remembered they shared a class.
As she turned the corner she watched as Steve intently recommended a movie to the customer. He put a smile on his face as he handed over the tape, patiently waiting as they viewed it. He was quite good at this job actually, she was never able to get someone to rent a tape as fast as he just did.
The customer left the store, some blockbuster movie shoved into a plastic bag and Y/n decided right then and there that she would make an effort to know the new Steve Harrington.
Walking up to the counter, she rested her arms on top. “Alright Harrington,” she started. “How about we make this bet more interesting?”
He was caught by surprise, not expecting to get another sentence out of his co-worker for the rest of the shift. “S-sure,” he mustered out, recovering quickly with a raised eyebrow. “What do you have in mind?”
“Loser buys the other lunch.”
He debated only for a moment before holding out his hand for her to shake. “Alright, L/n, you’ve got yourself a bet.”
With a smile she shook his hand before turning around to go start organizing another shelf. She couldn’t see from behind as she turned into the action movie section but Steve had a grin that reached from ear to ear.
——
After that initial shift, the one where Steve ended up buying her lunch for the day, the two workers grew closer and closer. Y/n suddenly found herself having more one on one shifts with him, each which were filled with laughter and soon-to-be inside jokes.
Robin was especially grateful for their new friendship, finally having her two best friends get along was the best gift she could’ve asked for - and she made no effort to hide that fact.
“I just can’t believe that you and the dingus are getting along!” she said, watching Y/n stack another tape on the shelf. “I never thought I’d see the day.”
“Yeah, well you were right,” Y/n said. “He’s changed since high school. He’s actually a decent human being now.”
“I told you so!”
“Robin, I just said you were right,” she reminded her friend, making them both chuckle slightly.
Almost on cue, the doorbell rang and Steve Harrington walked through. Robin watched as her friend stood up straight, walking over to join her from behind the counter.
“Hey Steve,” Robin greeted him. “We were just talking about you.”
“What?” Y/n said quickly, seeing the confused look on his face turning to face him. “No we weren’t. What’s up? I thought it was your day off?”
“It is, I just grabbed the wrong tape when I left yesterday and Henderson is throwing a hissy fit. I’ll just go grab the right one… do you wanna help me?”
“S-sure!” Y/n exclaimed, walking out from around the counter to head over with him.
Robin watched the scene unfold in front of her with suspicion. She watched as Steve fumbled with the tape he was holding, walking closely next to his new friend. Y/n made no move to back away, smiling as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. It was like a scene straight out of a movie. Robin watched as Steve picked up the new tape, brushing over Y/n's hand softly in the process.
Backing away slightly, he raised a hand to her. “See you Buckley!”
“Bye Harrington!” she yelled as Y/n made her way back over to the counter with a smile she wasn’t trying to hide. “Alright,” Robin began to her. “When were you gonna tell me?”
Y/n looked at her confused. “Tell you what?”
“That you and Harrington are dating!”
“What!?” she exclaimed, taking a step back. “M-me and Steve? What- no- why- we’re not dating.”
“Well you coulda fooled me.”
“What do you mean?”
“Steve didn’t need help exchanging that tape. He works here he just wanted to be near you! And the way you too were smiling and blushing? I mean, you’re not dating, you guys have it bad for each other.”
“I do not like Steve like that, Robin!” Y/n persisted, crossing her arms.
“Whatever you say… Hey, you’re still going to Nancy’s party tomorrow right?”
“Yeah I’ll be there… I’m gonna go take my break.”
Waving bye, she headed into the back room, Robin’s comment still on her mind. Steve and her dating? That was ridiculous! She liked talking to him, having his company during work made the shifts feel like they were going by faster. And sure, she liked the way he chuckled at her jokes, like everything she said was clever.
But they were just friends.
Even if she did like him, Steve definitely did not think of her the same way. She needed to stop thinking about this. There was no good in dwelling over things that weren’t true.
🎬🎬
The party at Nancy Wheeler’s was more packed than usual. Y/n didn’t know that she was friendly with this many people but nevertheless, the house was packed. She moved through the living room in an attempt to get to the kitchen when she heard her name being called out.
“Y/n!” she turned to see Robin, her arm strung over her girlfriend Vickie.
“Hey guys,” she returned. “Packed house huh?”
“Yeah I think the football team heard it was going on and crashed it,” Vickie commented, practically yelling over the voices around them.
Y/n nodded, searching for a clear path to the kitchen.
“Looking for someone?” Robin said with a smirk.
“No?” Y/n said, not knowing what she was talking about. “I’m trying to find the quickest way to get a beer.”
“Maybe he can help you.” Robin motioned behind her to someone.
Turning, Y/n was caught by surprise. Steve Harrington was in the living room, look around like he didn’t know what to do. She turned back to Robin and Vickie to ask why he was here but they were gone before she could.
“Hey, L/n,” said Steve, causing her to look back at him.
“H-hey,” she said awkwardly. “I didn’t know you would be here.”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“I didn’t think you and Nancy were on good terms… I heard about how she dumped you in high school…”
“Yeah…” he said, remembering back to the day she was talking about. “It’s fine, we weren’t meant for each other but we’re still good friends.”
Y/n nodded, looking around not knowing what to do. “So… beer?” she asked.
“Beer,” he agreed.
The two finally made their way to the kitchen grabbing two bottles before suddenly there was an arm back on Y/n's shoulder. A friend from high school hastily pulled her away from Steve, giving her just enough time to give him an apologetic look.
As her friend went on, drowning her in every detail of her life since the moment they last saw each other, Y/n tried to think of every possible way to escape the conversation. She tried to go to the bathroom, scan the room for Robin, and even just make up an emergency altogether, but the girl wouldn’t stop speaking. She droned on and on about her boyfriend and how they were going to move in together, not even letting Y/n speak a word. To put it simply, she was exhausted.
It wasn’t until the girl finally left with her friend that Y/n realized they had been talking for nearly the entire party. She looked around, watching as people crashed to the floor or leaving without saying any goodbyes - she had missed the entire thing.
The house was a mess and since the party was basically dead now anyways, she thought it was as good as time as any to start cleaning up. Finding a trash bag in the kitchen, she opted to start with the empty cans left in the living room. Slowly putting one bottle after the other in to the bag, she heard someone call out for her.
Groaning, she turned around, hoping for it not to be her old high school friend. When she saw who it was, a smile was brought to her face.
“Where have you been all night?” asked Steve Harrington, plopping down on the sofa.
“Getting my ear talked off by some girl we used to go to school with. It was so boring,” she told him, putting another can in the bag.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
“Helping clean up, maybe you should too.”
“No,” he waved her off. “Stop that, I hired cleaners to come in the morning.”
Y/n dropped her bag to the side, trying to process what he just say. “I’m sorry you paid for someone to come? Damn Harrington, throwing around the big bucks.”
He gave a small chuckle as she sat down on the couch next to him, their shoulders bumping slightly at the sudden movement.
“Yeah well what else am I gonna use it for. Might as well help some friends out right?”
“I guess so…”
Silence took the air for only a moment before Steve continued. “…my parents are never home,” he started up again, a more serious tone taking over his voice. “When you’re constantly alone, it’s easy to get swept up in making yourself busy to uh, block out any of the feelings…so whether it be finding a minimum wage job, hanging out too much with Robin, or paying to have cleaners come to your exes house…it just helps to take your mind off things…”
He trailed off into silence again, scouring to himself for oversharing with someone he barely new. Y/n could tell he was getting tense, the way his shoulders caved in, trying to engulf himself.
“I get what you mean,” she responded softly, trying to make him feel better.
He looked over at her, his eyebrows raised in surprise. “Yeah?”
Nodding, she continued. “My dad left when I was little… it’s really only been me and my mom for as along as I can remember. I’m so used to cleaning up and taking care of others sometimes it feels like my brain just goes on auto pilot. Like if I’m not helping others I won’t stop to realize I’m not taking care of myself.”
She could see his eyes soften, looking at her like he wasn’t expected to hear her unannounced childhood trauma.
“S-sorry,” she backtracked, looking down at her lap. “That got a little deep there for a second.”
Quickly Steve replied, “Don’t apologize.” She looked back up at him; he was leaning closer to her, almost feeling his breath against her face. “I like learning new things about you. The good and the bad.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
She felt herself moving closer, her eyes darting from his eyes down to his lips.
“I like learning new things about you too.”
His hand reached up, cupping her cheek, pulling her in closer. They were practically connected, their lips barely hovering over each other. It was in that moment that Y/n decided, Fuck it.
She closed the gap between them, feeling the hand on her face apply a little but more pressure. It was slow, like they were savoring each last bit of the kiss, like it would be the first and last time this would be happening.
Y/n pushed into him, pulling him closer by the waist as she felt his other hand tangle in her hair. He moaned into her mouth, turning his head to get a new angle. It felt…nice; something she hadn’t expected from the playboy of her old high school.
Slowly, they pulled away, wanting only a moment to catch their breaths before diving back in. But before their lips could connect again, someone called out for him.
“Steve!” He turned his head, his hair brushing against her face before she turned as well. In stumbled a very drunk Eddie Munson, a bottle of beer dropping from his hands. “H-have u seeen Chrisslsly?” he asked, slurring his words.
“No, Munson I haven’t,” he replied, a tone of annoyance in his voice.
Eddie tripped over the hem of the rug, falling on the floor before rolling over on his back aching. Y/n felt Steve leave her embrace, getting up to go help up his friend. Leaning down, he took one of Eddie’s arms and draped it over his shoulder.
“Come on, Munson, let’s get you home.”
Without another word, another acknowledgment of what had just occurred, he left, taking his drunk interrupter with him.
“What the fuck just happened?” Y/n whispered to herself.
She ran her hands over her face, like she would wake up from a dream any minute now. But as her eyes opened again she found she was still on Nancy Wheeler’s couch, in shock that she just made out with one of her best friends.
🎬🎬🎬
“You’re fucking kidding me!” Robin exclaimed, leaning over the counter of Family Video.
Y/n was restocking the sci-fi movies, relaying the events of the previous night’s party. “Come on Robin,” she said, putting another movie on the shelf. “It was just a kiss.”
“A kiss?! Y/n, that wasn’t just a kiss. That was a declaration of love!”
She rolled her eyes. “Come on, be serious. It was barely anything.”
“Well what does Steve think about this?”
“I haven’t talked to him since it happened…” Y/n said trailing off. “…Eddie came in drunk and he had to leave pretty quickly.”
“And he hasn’t called?”
She shook her head. “Hence why it was only a kiss. He didn’t mean anything more than that.”
“Y/n, Steve doesn’t just kiss anyone.”
“Did we go to the same high school?” she asked sarcastically.
“Come on, you know he’s changed since then. How else would you guys be friends?” Robin emerged from behind the counter, walking up and grabbing her with both shoulders. “Trust me. He likes you. Eddie just got in the way and he’s probably too nervous to call.”
Robin was being very persistent and it was not helping Y/n's case. She didn’t want to admit it, but, she liked kissing Steve Harrington. She liked that he opened up to her and wanted to know more about her. He was the first boy that felt to her like he actually cared.
But he didn’t call her, didn’t even acknowledge their kiss as he left the party with Eddie. Sure, he changed his ways but she knew for a fact that Harrington charm was still there. Why wouldn’t he call if it wasn’t just a kiss?
“I’m going back to restocking,” Y/n said, wanting to be done with the conversation.
Robin groaned, walking back to her place at the counter. “All my friends are idiots,” she murmured under her breath.
🎬🎬🎬
Another week went by without any call or talk from Steve. That was, until she walked in for another morning shift, one that she was expecting to see Robin at.
As she opened the doors to Family Video, finding they were already unlocked, she stumbled back slightly. Steve was already behind the counter, playing with some Rubik’s cube as he waited for the shop to open.
When he noticed her enter, Steve stood up, tossing the cube to the side, leaning his hands on the counter. “H-hi,” he said awkwardly.
Still in shock that he was here, she got straight to the point. “What are you doing here?”
“Robin, uh, called out sick again.”
Nodding, she put her bag down, not knowing what to do. They hadn’t spoken in over a week, a week since he kissed her and left without another word. She wanted a normal shift with her best friend, one where she didn’t have to worry about what she did or said, or if he was going to reject her to her face.
“I’m just gonna go organize the romance section,” she said, walking away without another word.
The shift turned from painful silent into one of the busiest days they had in a along time. Y/n got maybe two tapes on the shelf before a customer came up to ask her a question. Looking over to the counter, hoping Steve could help, she saw he too had another customer at the front.
With a smile, she turned back to the women in front of her, directing her over to the silent movie section. The first half of their shift went on like that, always someone helping a customer and having no time to do anything else.
When the half way mark hit and Y/n was able to come back from lunch, it was finally empty. She sighed, watching as Steve went to the back to begin his break, happy she would finally have time with her own thoughts.
While she was helping the customers, Robin’s words still played in the back of her mind. Steve doesn’t just kiss anyone, he’s changed. It didn’t matter cause he would have talked to her by now - called at least. No, she wouldn’t bring it up because it would only lead to rejection and Y/n didn’t think she could handle that.
The door in the back slammed close and Y/n peeped her head around the corner to see Steve emerge from the break room. They made eye contact for a moment before she stuff her head back into the romance section, set on organizing the shelf.
Two hours had past and every now again she check around the corner to see if there were any new customers. There wasn’t but she could see her coworker getting antsy, like he needed to say something but she would hide every time he tried. She had finished organized the section pretty early on, but there was nothing left to do so there she sat, reorganizing the shelf once more.
Y/n stuck her head out one more time, expecting to see him at the front desk but he was no where to be seen. Thinking he left to get something from the back, she tuned around to grab another tape. The last thing she was expecting to see Steve Harrington standing behind her. Yelping, she jumped back slightly, trying to catch her breath.
“Jesus, Steve! Why are you standing there like that?!” she exclaimed.
“You’re ignoring me,” he stated.
She sighed, grabbing the film. “No, I’m not.”
“Yes you are,” he continued, watching as she continued her task. “You’ve been reorganizing the same section for over two hours.”
“It’s messy,” she shrugged.
“Bullshit.”
As she went to put another tape on the shelf, he reached out a hand and blocked it. He stepped closer to her as she turned to him, not wanting to deal with his little fit. Staring up at him, she felt her gaze soften to match his. He looked distraught, like he was a bubble that could burst any second.
In a soft voice he said, “We have to talk about it.”
Oh boy. She couldn’t do this. Not now, not here. “Talk about what?” she asked, knowing full well that was a lie.
Steve rolled his eyes. “Oh come on.”
She stepped back from him, needing to get away from how close they once were. Slowly she shook her head. “No, we don’t,” she finally gave in.
“I think we do-“
“No!” she interrupted him, leaning against one of the stacks of tapes. She let her head hit the top shelf behind her as she closed her eyes in defeat. “I won’t let you reject me to my face so let’s just skip this conversation and go on with our shift.”
When she opened her eyes, she saw that Steve was once again in front of her. Making no move to walk away, she watched as he placed both his hands on either side of the shelf, trapping her in his gaze.
“I lied,” he said plainly.
“What?”
“I lied, Robin isn’t sick I asked her to trade shifts with me.”
Y/n felt her heart beating faster. What was he saying? What did this mean?
“Why?” she asked him.
Steve rolled his eyes. “Why do you think?” He leaned in closer, his face inches from hers. “I don’t think that kiss was a mistake, and I really wanna kiss you again.”
Y/n felt her heart drop. Was this real? Was she dreaming right now? She looked up into his eyes, they made her feel like she was the only one in the world. Fuck it, dream or not, she really wanted to kiss him back.
“Then do it,” she said.
Before the words could even finish forming on her tongue, Steve leaned in, capturing her lips on his. She felt her hands find their way to his waist, trying to pull him closer to her. He pressed her more against the shelf, the kiss quickening and becoming more intense by the second.
There was almost no time to come up for air as he leaned down to kiss her again. It felt desperate, like thirst you couldn’t quite get rid of. She smiled into the kiss, feeling him do the same.
They were both so stupid denying their feelings for each other. It was obvious how they felt, and now kissing him in the romance section, she couldn’t figure out why she waited.
As he moaned into her mouth, the door of Family Video rang. Quickly, they pulled apart, turning their heads to the door. A very shocked Vickie stood, still on the front doormat. Y/n pushed Steve away, trying to clean up her appearance like it would erase what their friend had just seen.
“Vickie-” Steve tried to start with her but he was cut off quickly.
“-Oh Robin is so going to freak when she hears about this!” she exclaimed, turning to walk back out the store.
“Wait did you need something?” Y/n asked, wondering why she came in to begin with.
“Not anymore!” she shouted, bolting to her car outside.
Y/n heard Steve say, “Shit,” as he moved closer to her, wrapping his arms around her from behind and resting his head on her shoulder. “Robin is not going to live this down is she?”
“No, I don’t think she will.”
He leaned down, trying to kiss her again but Y/n put a finger up to his lips. She turned around to face him properly.
“No,” she said.
“But I really wanna kiss you again,” he whined.
“You can… after you help me organize the romance section.”
“Yes, ma’am,” he said with a smirk, walking over and putting tapes of the shelf.
Y/n laughed watching as he tried to rush through the task. Steve Harrington was a goofball and very bad at communicating his feelings but that didn’t matter anymore. She found her place next to him, helping put the tapes away smiling at the thought of their kiss in the romance section.

Scream Queen - Part 1/2
Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru/FemReader
When it comes to horror films, Gojo considers himself a connoisseur. He knows a good chase when he sees one, and he's had his sights set on you for a long time.
AO3 Link
NSFW, 6.3k wc, porn with plot, dirty talk, fingering, pussy eating, masturbation, mild predator/prey
Part 1
Gojo had picked the horror flick that night. Had insisted it was critically acclaimed. But it was just some campy thing where the heroine was running all too slow down a flickering hallway, her screams serving only to alert the pursuing monster of her exact location. The woman’s hair was as beautifully curled as when she’d arrived, her skirt hiked up to her upper thighs, tank top torn in a way that left little to the imagination.
“‘Amazing cinematography’ my ass,” you mumbled. You lay sleepily on Gojo’s couch, head in his lap, his fingers carding through your hair.
“You don’t like?”
“She’s tripped over six times.”
“Yeahhh she’s a little clumsy,” he agreed. “But try and think about it this way: every time she stumbles, her tits go bananas. I mean talk about breaking the fourth wall.”
The woman ran into a room, barricading the door with just a weak press of her shoulder, weeping hysterically. You pointed at the screen, livid. “I can literally see a cameraman standing in the corner! Critically acclaimed? Really?”
“Yeah. Critically acclaimed by my penis.” He frowned. “Did I not say that?”
“No, actually, you failed to mention that, deviant.”
The tug of sleep was beginning to draw your eyes closed, the warmth of his thigh and the drone of shitty TV lulling you into a dreamlike trance. It was a rare occasion that you didn’t like the movies Gojo picked out; in fact this was a first. He actually had a surprising eye for pretty things and a knack for picking out quality flicks you’d never even heard of. But this was… decidedly un-epic.
The sound of wood splintering through indicated the start of yet another chase sequence that you couldn't care less about witnessing.
“Couldn’t be me,” you mumbled, melting further into his lap with a deep sigh, eyes finally closing. “I’m fast as fuck.”
“Yeah?” His voice held more than a touch of amusement. “You’re alright.”
With a cursed technique that granted you a speed on par with the all famous Gojo Satoru, you’d fare more than alright in a horror film.
“You could never catch me.”
The fingers in your hair paused for a good minute before he responded.
“You think?” he said.
Your only response was a sleepy hum.
“Hm.” The fingers continued. “Alright.”
You were too tired to think much of it, honestly, or the fact that you had inadvertently issued a challenge to the most insufferably competitive man you’d ever met.
As your breathing slowed, his touch switched almost absentmindedly to the shell of your exposed ear, sweeping softly along the curve of it. Back and forth. Goosebumps tracked down your arms and you shivered, pulling your legs so tight to your chest that they knocked into his. You opted to ignore the puff of amusement from above – not like you could help that his couch was so comfortable.
Not to mention his apartment was bafflingly huge compared to your 400 square foot rabbit cage – with one of those open plan living spaces boasting enough area to plant a giant sectional couch right smack in the middle of it. But for how filthy rich he was, the place wasn’t ostentatious at all. It was cozy. Blessedly quiet, too, in comparison, even with the constant murmur of background noise that you were convinced Gojo would drop dead without.
His apartment had become somewhat of a home base in recent months for you to decompress after tough missions. It hadn’t been easy finding friends since your move to Tokyo. Not that Gojo had started out as anything close to one. You’d hated his guts at first, actually. Still did sometimes - your first meeting ending with you fuming and him grinning down at you like you were the funniest little creature. He had a habit of that, making people feel small, what with his 6 '3 string bean stature and a perma-smirk that did little to fight off the asshole allegations.
You weren’t sure if you could deign to call whatever this was a friendship, either, with the two of you pushing each other’s buttons like it was your sworn duty to do so. But the bickering was a strange sort of constant in your life, and jujutsu sorcerers didn’t get many of those. So you showed up here time and time again for what? Normalcy? Comfort? Something like that. You just took it for what it was, and Gojo was certainly never one to complain about company.
You dozed off to the thought of how surprisingly cushy his thigh was, even if he was built like a string bean.
A sharp pinch on your earlobe jolted you awake. In an instant, you’d snatched the offending wrist and pulled yourself up. “Ow! The hell was that about?!”
“Whoopsie! Sorry ‘bout that.” Gojo shrunk back from you, his sheepish apology so comically phony he reminded you of a kitten caught testing its boundaries. “Got scared. Hand slipped.”
“You’re so full of shit.”
“Sheesh. Careful, no second chances with this one.”
He was being extra annoying tonight, and you said as much. Grumpily, you released your hold of him and he made a real show of it: inspecting for bruises, rubbing at his wrist and shaking his hand out like he’d been in iron shackles. Worst of all, the movie seemed like it was only a little past the halfway point, which means he hadn’t let you sleep through much of it at all.
“Well.” You clapped your hands together. “you’ve just got to fill me in on what I missed.”
He inhaled.
“Sarcasm.”
His bottom lip stuck out in a pout, his head falling against his shoulder as he regarded you.
“You’re so mean to me.”
With a dramatic huff, you turned and collapsed back into the couch beside him, rubbing the sleep from your eyes with the heels of your palms. With senses so finely attuned to Gojo’s impulsive tendencies by now, you blindly knocked his hand away with your forearm before he could reach out to aggressively ruffle your hair in retaliation.
Just as smug as he could be, you crossed your arms and smirked. You’d found he often liked to justify inciting violence by lecturing how a good sorcerer was always on their guard. Well, guess what.
“Who’s the strongest now, bitch? That’s twice now I’ve blocked your ass.”
You caught the tail end of his quiet, mournful suffering – “could’ve seriously been injured…”
“You have a weak constitution.”
He pointed at himself, looking around the room as if to say ‘me?!’  You nodded solemnly.
“Uh oh, I smell jealousyyy,” he sang, fingers drumming a scattered beat on the leather behind your head.
“Yeah? What of?”
He raised his chin with a dazzling smile. “My dainty, effeminate wrists, of course!”
Despite your best attempt, you snorted a laugh. Damn if he didn’t look pleased as punch about it, too.
“Strongest,” you scoffed. “You can’t even stand up from the couch without groaning. Let’s get you home, grandpa…reduced to bone dust if someone tightened your watch band a little too hard–”
You let out an angry squeal when the fingers behind you finally seized the chance to reach up and tousle your hair– not in the cute little gesture of affection kind of way. More in the pure violence for violence sake kind of way. You threw your arms over your head, forehead tucking into your folded knees, shouting over his witchy cackle.
“Strongest guy at the bingo table more like! Stop. Stop!” You smacked at his accosting hand blindly but it was like swatting at a relentless swarm of bees. “THAT’S ENOUGH.”
With one final ruffle, he let you go. You threw him your fiercest scowl.
“I hate you.”
His fiendish laughter trailed into the low, drawn out sound of your name, hummed with a purring appreciation that had your stomach flipping oddly, twisting in knots. You froze. Dear lord, when had you gravitated so close to him? If you tipped your head back, you’d be lying on the crook of his elbow.
Quickly, you averted your gaze and got to work on your hair, smoothing down the devastation he had wreaked upon it. But strangely, his touch never quite left you, knuckles stroking gently at the base of your neck in an unfamiliar act of intimacy. You waited for him to launch an attack again, but he didn’t. Just quietly kneaded his fingers into your spine. The whole thing left you feeling a little stranded by what seemed like an unnerving insinuation of closeness, gaining an invisible weight to it the longer it went uncontested by you.
You blinked and spouted the first lie you could conjure up.
“You make for a terrible pillow, by the way.”
He made a throaty noise of disappointment, studying you a moment longer before turning his attention back to the movie, touch abandoning your neck. “Come into my home…”
“And I’ll walk right back out of it if you’re not careful.”
“Ooh, consider me scared!”
“You should be scared.”
“Don’t I know it.” His long form slouched impossibly further down into his seat, his fingers lacing over his chest before he barked out one startlingly loud laugh, as if he’d just remembered you’d said the funniest thing. “Careful,” he said, a self-satisfied grin beginning to creep across his lips. “You would hate careful.”
You frowned. “What–”
“Don’t worry about it, sweetheart,” he waved you off. “You can do whatever you want.”
Your jaw clenched at the pet name. But still it took a moment for your brain to kick back into gear. It was just… the way he’d said it that gave you pause, like he knew something you didn’t.
“Shit movie,” was all you could think to say.
“Yep,” he said, popping the ‘p’, sitting there still with a far-too-pleased grin.
Hit with a sudden bout of nerves, you turned to the coffee table, which was littered with a variety of sweet snacks he’d fished out of his cupboard. Stomach already full and strongly protesting to anything more, you panic-swiped two kit kats and jammed them into your mouth, taking the opportunity to scooch yourself away from him.
For a guy whose cursed technique allowed him to control space, Gojo was awfully oblivious to the concept of it. He was a taker; give him room to spread and he would take it unapologetically. It was no different now, his long form stretching immediately into your space again. His knee chased yours almost mindlessly, leg knocking into yours, bouncing there with a fervor.
“Stop.”
He looked at you with a raised brow. “Heh?”
“You’re encroaching.”
His gaze flicked down, noticing the personal space violation for the first time, blinking, making a small hum of decision. He leaned in close, murmuring into your ear. “Well here’s an idea, yeah?” He grabbed your knee with an outstretched palm. “Go on and walk right out of here, then.”
You could only pray the movie was loud enough that he didn’t hear your breath catch. God, his hands were huge, his long, spidery grip bleeding warmth across your lower thigh and knee.
The feel of Gojo’s breath swept across your cheek as he observed your reactions closely. And you couldn’t help but gulp as a different, more alarming heat burned its way slowly up your thigh like a lit wick.
A thumb brushed featherlight across your bare skin, the pads of his fingers beginning to crawl gently inward to tickle the sensitive skin at the inside of your knee. You quickly jerked your leg away.
“Here’s an idea,” you sputtered, fumbling to find anything clever to say and failing miserably, “stop… being the way that you are.”
“Uh. Alright.” Gojo scratched his head, pulling back to give you the space you thought you wanted. “Don’t know what you want me to do about that, really. Sheesh. What’s a guy to do? Not like I can stop being hot or a genius or whatever. You want me to just ‘say goodbye’ to my baby blues?” He cupped his palm over his mouth in hushed confidentiality. “My giant horse cock?”
You made a horrible retching sound.
He shrugged away your disgust. “Just sayin’, you’ve gotta see it to believe it.”
“Cut it out.”
It was like you’d told him there was strawberry cake on the ceiling the way his eyes lit up, rolled back in his skull, jaw dropping as he threw his head back in fake ecstasy. And you just knew what he was about to do.
Your fist pulled back to prepare what should’ve been a non-punch to his infinity.
“Stop or I will punch all the way through you.”
In an outrageously high-pitched, shrill voice, Gojo moaned.
“Make me, daddy–!”
The words were cut short by a choked grunt as he allowed your fist to connect to the soft of his stomach. Hard. His head lolled backward, a long, appreciative groan slipping from between an open-mouthed grin. The slender column of his throat bobbed as the raunchy noise dissolved into giggles. And you might as well have been struck in the gut yourself with how violently you yanked yourself back from him.
Because Gojo Satoru was beautiful like this. In that stupid, unfair way that made you want to run your tongue up and down his neck just once to see if he was made of real flesh and blood. You shook the thought from your head.
“You’re so weird.”
“You think so?” he asked, voice just a touch raspy.
‘Yeah. I do.”
His eyes rolled coyly to the side to meet yours.
“Brat.”
“Pervert.”
Gojo lifted his head lazily, perfect tufts of snow white falling across his forehead, a dangerous grin stretching slow and wide across his face. “Babe, you have no idea.”
Your face heated, nerves shooting off like a flurry of butterfly wings in your chest. You wanted to hiss at him. What was he playing at anyway? He’d flirt with the likes of a potted fern, but still.
It wasn’t something you could afford to think too hard on. This was just who he was: an irredeemable flirt, someone who couldn’t help but poke around the edges of boundaries just to test the strength of the fenceline. A guy like him wasn’t interested in the long term, anyway, and probably wouldn’t last with someone who didn’t want to sit around and stroke his vanity all day.
Besides, it was nobody’s business but your own whether you occasionally thought about how it might slap his thighs when he walked.
To your growing horror, you found yourself unable to tear your wide eyes away from his; gaping far too long to chalk it up to a mental hiccup. And he was eating it right up if his stupidly smug smirk was anything to go by.
You fell back into your earlier TV watching position, but instead of settling your head in his lap like before, you curled yourself beside him, the crown of your head pressing against his outer thigh. Safer that way, better to avoid his gaze. Mortification burned bright and unbearable in your chest.
“Stop staring. And stop calling me babe.”
“Why should I?”
“Because,” you said sharply.
“Because,” Gojo considered, nodding, seeming to roll the word out on his tongue. He laughed, insincere. “Because! You’re so right.”
You remained stubbornly silent. The pad of his thumb dropped to smooth over the deepening scrunch of your brows and you barely allowed it to stay. It was just a thing with Gojo; his hands always had to be fiddling with something, touching something. And you were usually the closest thing.
That was all.
“Ya know, you get all twitchy when you’re nervous,” his voice purred from above. “You nervous?”
Having little hope that he missed the small shudder that tracked your spine, you craned your neck to shoot him a warning look. But the sight that greeted you had you forgetting how to breathe.
Gojo was studying you with a shocking intensity, the glowing Six Eyes flicking between yours like he was carefully mapping you out. The ghost of a fascinated, greedy sort of grin curled at one corner of his mouth, seeming only to deepen at the sight of your unease. You dropped your head back into the couch, squeezing your eyes shut to will away the stone of want that had lodged itself firmly at the base of your throat.
“Can I ask you a question?”
“Never been able to stop you before,” you snipped.
Gojo hummed, undeterred.
So sly that you hardly registered what he was doing until his shadow was looming over you, he repositioned himself, one leg sliding onto the couch so he could turn sideways to fully lean over your balled up form. With a quick move and a scooch forward, you found your head propped on his lap again.
A large palm cut off your furious protests, sliding to cup gently beneath your jaw, two fingers grazing over your clattering pulse. A calloused thumb slid across the seam of your downturned lips.
“Do you like feeling helpless?” he asked softly.
You stilled as a drop of startling heat slithered between your legs. His hand drifted down the column of your throat to follow the contraction of your nervous swallow, like he’d predicted it, like he was fine-tuning an instrument. Shit, you felt so small tucked into his lap like this.
You averted your eyes back to the movie.
“Serial killer question,” you said, wretchedly anxious with him peering down, every tiny response of yours seeming to be dissected and filed away for something sinister.
You pretended to be invested in whatever Oscar-worthy, nonsensical bullshit was happening on screen, the woman now captured in the monster's clutches. That is, until you were thrown headfirst into a crippling silence.
“Hey! I was watching that.”
The remote landed with a loud clatter on the coffee table. “Sorry, baby. Can’t have you holding out on me.”
And then suddenly, the real horror was right here in the dead quiet. The only light source was a soft overhead. With a burst of anger drawn up from a slowly drying well, you rolled onto your back, glowering up at him.
“Can I fucking help you?!”
“Mhmm.”
Your teeth clenched. “What are you even talking about, helpless?”
Gojo propped back on one hand and pretended to think about it. “Ah, you knowww. Scream queen style or whatever. When the cards are down and you’re all played out.” His eyes flicked down your form to where your hands twisted nervously into the bottom of your t-shirt. Then back up, voice dropping pensively. “So fast you’ve probably never felt it, though… being chased down like that, backed into a corner. Never been challenged the way you deserve, I bet. You like the thought of someone who can keep up with you?”
If the body was a chest of drawers, yours overturned all at once. Someone who could keep up with you… Challenge you. Like… him? Your jaw clenched. A desire you didn’t even know you had settled with a pulsing heat in your lower belly.
“So, what I’m hearing, and correct me if I’m wrong.” You stopped, centered yourself with a deep breath. “What I’m hearing is you asking whether I’d get off on being chased?!?
“Get off on it?” Gojo’s jaw dropped, acting as if the idea had only just occurred to him. “Wow. Uh. Dirty girl. Well. Sure I mean, yeah. If you want.”
Your nails scraped across the leather of the couch, trying to distract yourself from how ridiculously enticing the idea was. Because it shouldn’t be at all. Nope. Not to a well-adjusted person. What made it exponentially worse was that the longer you went without storming out of his apartment, the more Gojo looked at you like the cat about to eat the canary. And damn it all, you didn’t hate it.
No. You hated that you didn’t hate it.
“If I want?” you grit out. “First of all, there’s something wrong with you if you get your rocks off on the idea of hunting women. Elmer Fudd over here. Get a grip.”
He smirked. “Be nice, kitty cat.”
Using your elbows, you shoved yourself up, whirling around to sit on your heels so you could better set him on fire with your eyes.
“Why should I?!” you spat his earlier words back in his face.
Gojo went still, his slightly widened eyes flitting across your red-faced indignation. His gaze dropped to your lips as he chewed on his own for the span of a few breaths. Finally, he clucked his tongue. Whistled softly.
“Well, shit,” Gojo said. “Would ya look at that.”
Without an ounce of shame, his hand slid down the front of his pants.
“Wha–”
“Sorryyy,” he sung. “Mind of his own, it’s the darndest thing!”
You gawked at him in disbelief as he casually adjusted himself.
“Really, man?!”
“Oh relaaax. Ever seen one before? Wanna take a peek?”
You tried to clear the image of those long fingers wrapping his cock, bringing himself to completion for you with that same groan he’d demonstrated for you earlier.  The thought had you too hot in your skin.
“I’ll kill you. They’ll never stop finding your body.”
“Oh, keep going, I’m almost there!” he groaned theatrically before he shot you a cheeky, lopsided grin. “Gotta give it to you, babe, you really know how to get a guy goin’. I’m half hard and we haven’t even started.” His head cocked just a degree further and suddenly the playful grin he sported gained a sharp, predatory edge, voice dropping in low warning. “Keep looking at me like that. All angry. Sweetens the deal at the end of this thing. Makes it allll worth the wait.”
You swallowed, throat like sandpaper. “Deal?”
“When I catch you.”
You should walk out. You should walk right back out, like you said you would.
Unfortunately, your silence spoke volumes. Frustrated on several different levels, your hands flew up to cover your eyes, fingers pressing into the lids until you saw spots. But nothing could distract from the hyper awareness of the ache between your thighs.
“What do you want?” you asked, voice sounding small.
A long-fingered hand encircled each of your wrists, prying your hands away from your face. He held them hostage, pinning them to your upper thighs so you couldn’t retreat as he leaned in. Your heart stopped when his cheek brushed past yours.
“What I want is the whole thing. Listen. I love it when you play dumb with me. Seriously I do,” Gojo murmured into your ear. “But I think we’ve been sitting on the same page here for quite some time now, yeah? All the fighting, dancin’ around the tension and whatnot. I mean it’s sexy as hell, don’t get me wrong, but we both know it’s just extra bullshit.”
Your entire being was up in flames, face so hot you wondered if he could feel the heat emanating off your cheeks, his own pressed so tightly to yours he could probably feel your jaw work out a response.
“Make your point.”
He laughed, dipped his head, the tip of his nose nuzzling down the slope of your neck. The tiny, experimental flutter of warmth against your skin made you twitch, but the sudden hot drag of his tongue had you violently shuddering, searching for purchase until suddenly you were the one holding onto him, fingers digging into his shoulders. You could practically hear his arrogant smile as he breathed you in long and slow, the following sigh one of genuine contentment.
Gojo leaned back to have a look at you, disgustingly pleased with himself.
“Sure thing. I’ll make my point,” he said. Your arms felt strangely bereft when he moved out of your space, falling limply at your sides. Casual as could be, Gojo settled back into the couch, one ankle perched over his thigh, fingers clasping together like the two of you were discussing weather patterns. “Here’s the thing. I wanna find you, chase you, and fuck you in that order. Think you’d like somethin’ like that? Being pinned down with my cock in you?”
His eyes dropped to the motion of the unsubtle squeeze of your thighs, a razor sharp smile spreading slow across his lips.
“Yeah,” he purred. “Always thought you might.”
“You don’t know shit.”
His eyes flicked back to yours.
“I know that pussy has to be nice and wet by now.” Another spasm of want rocketed between your legs. God, he was so arrogant. “No shame in it, sweetheart. Tell me I’m wrong and I’ll drop the whole thing.”
A palm settled on your knee, thumb stroking in a gesture of mock comfort. His voice was soft. “Orrr you could just admit you’re making a mess of your panties right now hearing me talk like this.”
It was like your strings were cut all at once, your chin tipping to your chest as you lost whatever self-preservation instinct you had left. “Shit,” you whispered.
A finger hooked into the bend of one of your knees, tugging invitingly. His hum was a soft, rolling lull.
“Come here and sit on me.”
You may have been cracking, folding beneath the weight of your desire, but nothing could have dulled the precision of the homicidal glare you leveled him with.
“Think you have it in you to shut up for like six seconds?”
Gojo laughed. “Damn, my girl gets mean when she’s frustrated, huh?” At your lack of response, his smile dwindled and he seemed to truly consider you, taking in your stiff form. His gaze fell unabashedly between your legs again, tongue running along his teeth in deliberation. “You want me to eat you out a little? Loosen you up?”
Your jaw clenched as the mental image tore across your mind: hooded blue eyes looking up from between your legs, warm tongue put to work lapping at your cunt – he always did like to stay busy. Shit, why could you conjure up that image so well?
Because Gojo had looked at you like that before, hadn’t he? Like he wanted to take you apart, piece you back together. You’d just been too blind to see it.
He continued, his other hand reaching out now so both were hooked behind your knees. “Yeah… Yeah. That’s what you need. About time, too, huh. Makes my dick so hard just thinking about it. C’mere.”
“I don’t–”
In a single movement, you were pulled off balance, falling flat on your back. He cut off your yelp of outrage, seized your ankles, spun and dragged you to the edge of the couch, your thighs now bracketing his. You squirmed, head spinning as you panted up at him with searching eyes. It wasn’t a comfortable position you’d been suddenly squeezed into, your head bent awkwardly against the back of the couch, trapped in a slouched position by the oppressive energy coming from the man standing between your spread legs.
Gojo loomed above. His fingers twitched at his sides, drawing your attention there and then directly over to the glaring evidence of his arousal pressing against the front of his pants. Your breath caught in your throat.
“Feels like I really don’t even have to check,” he breathed, hungry gaze trailing across your body like he couldn’t decide what to focus on. “Just know you’re soaking. It’s crazy.”
“Tell me I’m wrong,” he said again, tongue darting out to wet his lips. Last chance.
“I– you’re… F-fuck you.” His grin was deadly, eyes sparkling in dark victory. It was unsettling, how much you wanted to fall headfirst into that blue.
Gojo Satoru collapsed on his knees like he was about to start muttering prayers. He tugged you closer, the weight of his head falling against your inner thigh with a satisfied hum. Laying there so he could simply observe the slight quiver in your legs as he slowly drew his oversized palms up and down any bare skin available to him.
“Fuck. Look at you,” he murmured, breath sweeping across the damp crotch of your sleep shorts like he was talking right into your clothed pussy.
At the sound of your tiny, pathetic squeak, his shoulders shuddered violently. He slid forward, fingers hooking into the hem of your shorts, teasing there. His eyes raised with a hooded intensity, holding yours for a few heated seconds. Terribly slow, he let his jaw drop, tongue unveiling itself, and leaned forward to press it firm and flat against the thin fabrics covering your entrance, letting the heat bleed from his mouth. A groan choked out of your throat, coming out more as a grating wheeze, the noise met with a gleaming, wicked satisfaction.
“So the…” you swallowed thickly, voice so ragged it was almost completely foreign. “The thing with eating pussy is you have to remove my-”
There was a sharp, reprimanding smack on your thigh. “Don’t start.”
You half expected him to rip your shorts right off; you wouldn’t have been opposed. But Gojo instead rolled the hem down little by little, so torturously slow your fingers ached with how hard they dug into the couch with anticipation. He nipped, sucked bruises into the skin as it was exposed, gently guiding you to lift your hips so he could pull your bottoms the rest of the way.
His eyes danced in wonder across the arousal that you could feel being squeezed from you just by his appraisal. “Shit,” he exhaled, his warm breath brushing gently across your soaking cunt. You gasped, legs automatically attempting to clamp together. To get away. When was the last time you’d been this vulnerable to anyone?
“No, no. Nope. None of that,” he reprimanded, pushing your knees into your chest, spreading your legs more lewdly for his perusal. “Lemme see what I did to you.”
“I– I c-can’t.” You averted your gaze. It was all too much: the sight of Gojo Satoru kneeling between your legs, looking as if he’d let the world burn just to get a taste of you. He breathed across you again, his mouth so damn close that you wanted to start tearing at his hair.
“Shit,” he said again. “Pussy got hot hearing me talk about how hard I’m gonna fuck it later.”
You couldn’t help but let out a muffled cry when two fingers stroked down your slit, pressing against the entrance to your pussy, swirling there. He coated the tips of his fingers thoroughly in your wetness, raising them to the light just to slowly scissor them apart. Watch your own fluid stretch thin between them before going back for more, just lightly teasing. Your face felt impossibly hot, chest rising and falling in short gasps, chasing the stroke of his fingers, needing something to clench around, the slow spread of your slick too ridiculously loud in the quiet room.
“You always this wet for me, baby?”
“I d-didn’t think your head could get any bigger.”
Gojo hummed in amusement, giving no warning before he began to slowly ease two fingers inside you. A string of expletives punctuated the air as your cunt throbbed and clamped down in relief, accepting him greedily.
“Look at that,” he said, hooking the long digits inside you and pulling another whimpered curse from your lips. He took his time dragging them out, pushing them back in with an obscene squelch. “You’re a sweet girl letting me finger fuck you like this. Shit, look at your pussy suckin’ on my fingers. So fucking hot… my girl letting me do this to her.”
“You–You’re- I d-” You attempted to mouth off, snap back that you didn’t belong to him, but a targeted curl of his fingers cut you off at the pass.
“I know,” he crooned. “Feels good, doesn’t it?”
A thumb pressed into your clit and your back arched as bolts of pleasure shot up your spine, hips rolling with the pump of his fingers, chasing more. You needed more. You couldn’t even breathe you needed it so badly.
Gojo bit the inside of your thigh, moaning obscenely and latching harder when you yelped in pain and smacked him hard in the head.
“Ow. What the– what the fuck,” you gasped, although you hadn’t really disliked it at all. He soothed the sting away with little licks.
“Sorry,” he said insincerely, voice in shreds now, strained with an odd concentration. “Wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve whacked off to the thought of this right here. But now look at you spreading your pretty legs for me. Still tryin’ to act like you’re not starved for my cock after all this time. Making me wait like that. Dripping your cum all over my couch. Makes me fucking crazy. Filthy girl. You’re my filthy girl, aren’t you? Ffuck,” he hissed.
It took you too long in your blissed out state to realize his shoulders were rocking slightly, and not just from the push and pull of his fingers inside you. “And my sweet girl’s gonna let me hunt her down, isn’t she? Spit on her tits, slap her, fuck her from behind.”
You couldn’t see it, but there was no doubt now that Gojo was masturbating himself in tandem. Thrusting his hips, not fast enough to relieve himself, just to appease the torment. God, he was vulgar, he was disgusting. He was sexy. He was the most beautiful thing you’d ever seen.
With a wet schlick, his fingers pulled out of you. And you could only assume from the way both his gaze and hand fell down to his lap that he was spreading your cum along his cock. Fingers wrapping himself, Gojo choked on something between a salacious moan and a manic laugh. His eyes slid up to yours dangerously.
A quick flash of pink was all you got before he was leaning forward and sliding his tongue through your drenched folds. Finally, you let loose the keening cry that had been stuck in your chest. Your spine felt close to snapping with how hard it pulled taut, your fingers leaping from their death grip into the couch cushion to embed deep in his soft hair, unsure whether to push him away or pull him closer.
A long, appreciative groan came from deep in his chest and he sighed, relaxed further into his task. One hand fisted around his cock, the other wrapped round one of your thighs to draw you closer, hand splaying across your lower belly to better hold you down. The rough pad of his thumb found your clit, dragging tight circles.
With long strokes of his tongue, he lapped at the wetness collecting at your entrance. You wanted him to go higher, needed his mouth elsewhere, for that wet heat to replace the thumb steadily masturbating you. You dipped your hips to guide him there but he didn’t relent, tongue fucking into your cunt with the same aching slowness. It was like this wasn’t even for you.
“Gojo,” you said weakly. He just hummed, the vibration sending arcs of pleasure up your spine. God you were so close already. You just needed… “G-Gojo.”
Still he didn’t speed up, acted like he hadn’t even heard you. And it pissed you right off. He wanted the whole thing, didn’t he? He’d said that before. Gojo Satoru wanted you. Badly. He was good, but so were you. Gojo was a man who took. Had taken his entire life. He didn’t want someone who sat around and stroked his vanity. No. He wanted someone who took, too. He wanted you.
A rising anger loosened your tongue.
“Gojo, you f-fucking prick,” you spat. “Take your hand off your fucking cock and do this the right way.”
Deliberately, his tongue pulled from you, thumb still working you at an infuriatingly slow pace. A lazy, dangerous grin began to crawl across his lips, still wet with your juices.
“Careful,” he warned.
“I hate careful.”
Something dazed crossed his face then, like you’d struck him square across the face. He shuddered, his eyes darkening, glimmering suddenly with an almost terrifying devotion.
And then both his hands were on you.
Arms wrapped under your thighs, palms splaying to lock your hips down completely. A blessed heat enveloped your clit with a gentle suction, tongue fluttering where you had so desperately needed it.
“Ffffff” was all you could manage, your back arching, unable to even watch him like you wanted to as your body contorted with the pleasure shooting to a quick crescendo.
“Shitshitshitshit,” you cried, fingers yanking at his hair, uncaring whether it hurt him, shoving his face impossibly further into your pussy. A vulgar, encouraging groan left him and with one final suck and a flicker of his tongue, you were sailing into oblivion. You clawed at him, a string of filthy curses stuck in your throat as you spasmed against him. It was long, debilitating, and drawn out by warm, slow slides of his tongue against you as he continued to lap up what you spilled, murmuring soft praises.
Your spine laid flat against the couch again as you collapsed with satisfaction, the pleasure still buzzing like a livewire across your skin. You twitched with sensitivity when his thumbs spread you apart, observing the final, tiny convulsions of your pussy.
“I– you’re amazing,” he groaned, like he was imagining himself deep inside you. “God, baby I… I wanna ruin you. My fucking cock is…” His forehead fell between your thighs for a second, like he was gathering himself. “I’m so fucking hard.”
Gojo leaned back on his heels as you sat up, assisting as you pulled your pants back up. He helped you up on shaky legs, until the two of you stood looking at each other, him unmoving, just eyeing you silently with a dark intensity.
Gently, you pulled his face down to yours, placing a short, gentle kiss to his lips.
You pulled back.
“I really do hope you’re as fast as they say you are.”
And you disappeared.

True love is a false connotation made up by fairytale authors and movie directors to get people to buy their books and see their films. In reality, no one ever truly meets their “soulmate” that fate sent to them that has been concocted by the heavens to be the perfect piece of the missing portion of their heart. Come on, really? Who the hell buys into that?
Plenty of people, actually. The dreamers of the world. The individuals who will never stop the search until they feel like they’ve met the one. Which is obviously working as divorce rates sky rocket across the world. Yeah, totally working.
It’s the realists who keep themselves grounded to the real world. Not falsifying some ridiculous notion that every person is going to be perfectly matched. Because it’s simply not true. Most people end up settling for what they get, even if it’s not what they deserve. Making all of these ideas about what they could be like, seeing them fall short of it, and being upset by it.
Nope, not for you. You knew that the cream of the crop wasn’t what your dating pool would ever look like. Getting the best selection of people possible that you could hand pick from the sea of lovers that so desperately wanted you for their own. It made you snort just thinking about it.
Of course, this isn’t 100% true for everyone, but it was true for you. Taking what you could get because you just assumed that this was as good as it was going to get. That these were the cards dealt by the universe and this was what you deserved.
Now, your best friends on the other hand had no such fate as your own. They were the epitome of having the best of the best to choose from. That’s what having a leg up in the world did for you. Being literal rock stars worked in favor for you. Not a thing to worry about because if you didn’t like who was in your lap now, in a split second you could have something else.
Two of the four didn’t fit into that category. Sam and Jake had seemingly found their person and were content with where they were. Danny was whoring around the world and was constantly invoking eyerolls from your end at the sheer ridiculousness of it and the tales he would share within your earshot. Sweet Josh was so happy by himself that he was galvanting his singleness around, enjoying being alone before he eventually fell into something with someone.
Three of the four you were extremely overjoyed for. The Kiszka boys would always hold a special place in your heart. The other one? Not really. You weren’t even sure where and when it had started, but it was just the foundation your “relationship” was built on. The snarky, sarcastic, annoyed moods just seemed to wash over you whenever he entered the room.
He was the same with you, too. It wasn’t one sided in the least. If you dished it out, he was giving it right back. For some reason, it was just how you two were with one another. You didn’t challenge it.
Danny wanted nothing more than to challenge it. He despised this idea of a “relationship” with you. In fact, it drove him mad. He wasn’t the type of guy to openly express his feelings and maybe he had missed the turn to be able to do so with you, but now he was in a permanent purgatory hellscape of dealing with this.
Yet, he would take the shitty interactions because at least it was that. An interaction. A tiny sliver of a conversation with you. A way to have some form of communication with you. As long as he got to speak directly to you, he would put up with it. What he didn’t want to put up with however, was the douchebag that is Connor.
The entire group hated the guy. He was a downright asshole that you had been dating for over eight months. All of the time they had spent time with him was a reminder of how much the guy just sucked. Not to mention he treated you like absolute garbage, so much so that it drove everyone up the goddamn walls each time he opened his mouth to speak to you.
No one could figure out why you put up with it. Knowing that there was someone, something better for you out there. You didn’t believe that. Connor was who the universe had put in your path for whatever reason so that’s who you stuck it out with. True love wasn’t a thing. You wouldn’t buy into the fantasy.
After another incredibly tough evening out with the entire group, douche canoe in tow, Danny sat on Josh’s couch, nursing a hangover. Entirely veering off from the conversation they had been having just moments before about the night out, Danny cut Josh off mid sentence. “Why is goldie still with him? Haven’t you said anything to her? Did you see how he made her go to the bar each time he wanted another drink? And she paid each time!”
The nickname that had been donned on you when you fell into an obsession with the Golden Girls in middle school, never wanting to watch anything else, was regularly used by the group. Only ever spoken with fondness. Unless Danny was using it to address you directly.
Josh plopped down next to him, shrugging at his concerns. “Listen, I’ve talked to her. More than once and I have reached a conclusion that I think everyone else has as well. It’s her life. She is actively choosing to stay with him no matter how much it sucks ass. I have said my peace to her regarding it. Now, I stay out of it. She’s a big girl and when she tires of it she’ll leave.”
He didn’t like that answer, playing with the coffee mug in his hands. “Yeah and what if she doesn’t?” Josh loosed a deep breath and gave a beaming smile to his brother. “Then we plaster big ass smiles to our fucking faces and suck it up because that’s what she’s chosen.”
Were you aware of how terrible Connor truly was? Yes and no. Was he as bad as they made him out to be each time they brought it up to you? Of course not. Behind closed doors, he was sweet when he wanted to be, serious when he needed to be, and he was like having an old friend around. You were just fine with that.
Sure, there were times where he was more of a dick than normal, but everyone has their bad days. His just happened to be in front of your friend group more often than not. Which didn’t help your case. Like just a month ago, the entire group went out to a celebratory dinner for the boys having completed their latest album.
Everyone dressed up to the nines, went to the fanciest restaurant you guys could find, and wined and dined all evening. It was a blast. Being able to take part in celebrating another job well done for your nearest and dearest friends. It was a small celebration for you as well, just a small secret whispered between you and your partner.
You had been offered a new position at work that was bundled with a significant pay raise and an office. You were going to have your own office which had you giddy with excitement. But because you didn’t want to undermine the boys and their evening, you kept it amongst yourselves.
Connor even offered to pay your share of the bill for the evening. As the toast of the evening was spoken by Josh, beaming with pride at his siblings, you felt like your face was going to be permanently stretched this wide with the smile you had adorned all evening.
When Josh went to take his seat, Connor stood from his. Your eyes widened, trying to pull him back down, but he shushed you. With your face burning from embarrassment, he started. “I just want to also offer my congratulations to you guys, but to goldie girl as well.” Everyone's faces contorted with confusion, looking upon you. Danny was seated right across from you and you couldn’t bring yourself to look into his eyes.
“She was offered an enormous promotion at work that she accepted, of course! What were, oh you said that there was something you were stoked for. What was it?” He nudged you as you forced a smile to your face. “An office,” he snapped his fingers as you had spoken so quietly no one had really heard.
“An office! Yes, but the most important part is that she was offered a huge chunk of change. Big ass pay raise.” You wanted to absorb into the floor, not wanting the attention to be on you tonight, but everyone cheered for you. Waving everyone off, you tried to tamp it down. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to share that tonight. Tonight’s about you guys!”
Josh had rounded the table, slinging an arm around you, kissing your cheek from behind. “Nonsense! We are celebrating all that this wonderful life has to offer and that includes our goldie girl.” You felt a real smile creep back on your lips at his words. Patting his arm, you leaned into the embrace, thanking everyone.
As the server came back to the table, handing out the assortment of billfolds, yours was handed to Connor. Chatter amongst the group meant attention was elsewhere, but Danny was watching. Always watching. Observing how Connor patted every pocket he had before looking at you with a sheepish look.
“Baby, I’m so sorry. I forgot my wallet,” your eyes bugged out at him, picking up the bill and seeing the total. “Connor, you said you had this.” You two were on the brink of a massive fight as you slid your credit card into the billfold, holding a hand up to him to get him to stop talking, but he took it a step further, speaking louder.
“God, I make one fucking mistake and suddenly the entire world caves in. We were having such a great night and there you go ruining it. You have got to be kidding me,” he rolled his eyes with a scoff, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back in his chair.
Your eyes were nearly bugging out of your head at his reaction, intense shame pummeling you at his words. You gave everyone a weary smile, quietly excusing yourself from the table, and walking out of the private room they had booked. When Danny went to speak, blood boiling, Josh cut him off, knowing the look in his eyes.
“I think that is our cue.” Everyone stood from the table, silently shuffling out of the room, but Danny hung back, finally being alone with the boyfriend. Danny took your credit card out of the billfold, handing it back to him in silence, checking the total, and leaving cash in place.
He took a deep breath, locking eyes with him. “You’re welcome.” Connor chuckled under his breath, not having stood from his seat, eyeing the drummer. “Ah, okay. Mr. Hero comes and saves the day for her. I see how it is, dude.”
Danny gave a tight lipped smile, patting him on his shoulder as he left. “Don’t call me dude.” When he walked out of the restaurant, he saw you profusely apologizing to his brothers for Connor having ruined the night. Your hands were held by Josh’s, him giving reassuring squeezes before pulling you into a large hug.
Josh kissed the side of your head, pulling back when your boyfriend walked out and saw you. You looked right past Danny to him, narrowing your eyes and turning on your heel, and storming off to where you had parked the car. Danny cast a glance at the man, seeing as he stood still to his spot.
“Do not let her walk alone to the car this late. Go,” Danny cocked his head in the direction you had walked off. Connor wanted to fight against his natural instinct to stay and let you deal with it, but with the intensity of Danny’s stare, he stalked off.
That was just one example of that.
It was earlier in the relationship when you had invited Connor to go to a bar you all loved to frequent together, wanting him to get to know everyone a little better. He agreed, but the entire evening all he had done was trash talk the place you all looked at as a second home.
Rolling your eyes as he walked off to get another drink, you stirred your straw in your glass, pissed that he wasn’t even making an effort. Sam chuckled as he faced you. “Damn, tough crowd to please, huh?” You groaned, letting your head fall to your hand. “Sorry.” Was all you mumbled out, Josh rubbing your back.
You hardly saw Connor for the rest of the night. With the group continuing to disperse throughout the building, you sat at your designated booth, sipping your fruity drink with a pout on your lips. Danny took the seat next to you, but you shot a glare his way.
“What do you want?” You spoke out around the straw in your mouth. “Ah, just coming to check on my favorite lonely girl.” Your face went up in disgust at the words, but he still had that sly smirk plastered to his face.
After not having seen Connor all night, your eyes finally found him. Leaning against the far end of the bar, back to you as he chatted with a girl. Her tits were sticking so far out of her shirt you could’ve sworn her areolas were visible.
Danny’s gaze followed yours and took in a short breath, sipping his drink before he spoke. “Oh, there’s the asswipe! Over there flirting with TitsMcGee. Real nice,” you only shrugged, trying to play it off. “We haven’t had the seeing other people talk yet so it’s fine.”
His eyes narrowed at you, chin tipping down to give you a look that all but said yeah okay whatever you say. Grunting, you slid out of the booth, flipping him off. “Whatever, I don’t owe you an explanation.”
Grumbling under your breath, you found Josh and leaned your head on his arm as he played a round of pool with Jake, waiting for his turn against the wall. His chest tightened with envy at the motion, wanting nothing more than to be in the place of Josh.
Instead, he moved over to where Connor stood, clapping a hand roughly on his shoulder and speaking in his ear. “Hey, Connor! Don’t know if you remember or not, but you didn’t come here alone. Remember her?” He pointed over in your direction, beer bottle still in hand as he did.
The girl's face went into shock as she eyed him. “You didn’t tell me you were with someone. Pig,” she said as she hurried off. Connor turned to face Danny, not near his looming height, but attitude ready to match his. “Look, dude, I was just talking with her. No harm done,” Danny’s fake smile was still on his lips.
“Course not. Now, go stand by your girlfriend for the rest of the night and keep her company.” Connor rolled his eyes, colliding with Danny’s arm for a hard hit as he went to move past him. Danny caught the same arm, speaking with a chillingly calm tone, “And don’t call me dude.”
Danny despised how your face lit up as Connor approached you, letting him wrap an arm around you. Claiming you from him. It took every ounce of patience he had to reapproach the group, taking a round of pool with Sam.
All you wanted was for everyone to get along. That’s why you invited Connor’s friend group to a kickback at Josh’s, wanting to get to know them better because despite having been dating for four months, you had only briefly met them once. Josh was all for getting to know Connor’s friends, insisting that they attend.
What you didn’t expect was for the night to go so poorly that Connor’s friends were literally kicked out of Josh’s home and told they were not welcome back. You hadn’t really been near them that night, but when you had been they didn’t make much of an effort to talk with you. It was mainly awkward, but it always was when you were meeting new people.
That’s why when you watched as Josh escorted the group to the front door from the backyard, you had no idea what had happened. Pestering Josh, he refused to say. Which was only further indication that whatever it was, had been so offensive, Josh had kicked them out.
Josh!
It wasn’t brought up again and you never took the initiative to invite them over when the group would hang out. Not worth the uncomfortable tension. Instead, you tried to keep things separate to the best of your ability.
That was one of the main reasons no one really brought up the fact that they utterly despised your partner of choice, but it was brought up one afternoon as you lounged on Josh’s couch. He was sitting on the opposite end of the long sectional, pursuing his phone, but pulled your attention when he suddenly remembered something.
“I totally forgot to tell you.” Your head lazily turned in his direction, not entirely interested in what he was saying, honestly too high to be dealing with anything. “Danny was pissed off about how Connor acted the other night at the bar.” Your brow furrowed, slightly sitting up at his words. “Huh?”
He tossed his phone down, attention fixating on the television, but nodded. “Oh yeah. You should’ve heard the rant he went on about the guy. He hates him,” since Josh was also partaking in vaping with you this afternoon, he fell into a mess of laughter beside you as his words tapered off.
It left you puzzled for the rest of the day. If there was anyone you wouldn’t assume cared about Connor, it was most definitely Danny. You had never seen them interact honestly. How could he hate him? Typical Danny. Making a decision before even knowing all the facts or, in this case, the person.
This was just one of the reasons why you didn’t particularly enjoy Danny’s company. There had been plenty of interactions that only confirmed your disregard for the boy was well warranted. For example, the time at the studio when you had touched his drums.
The boys had been recording, inviting you along for the Sunday session, but you were utterly bored. You weren’t sure where they had ventured off to, but a small break had you wandering into the recording booth where Josh stood, checking over the lyrics and notes.
You snickered, going over to the drummer's stool and sitting. “Hey look. I’m Danny,” taking the poses he often did as he played, Josh was giggling as he watched you. His eyebrows shot up though, quickly telling you to get off the seat as the door opened. Danny’s eyes went wide as he saw you standing from his seat.
“What-what are you doing? Are you fucking kidding me? Do you have any idea how long it takes me to get this set up just right for recording” He shoved past you, anger coursing through him at your careless actions. Which in your mind weren’t careless at all.
You crossed your arms, eyeing him at his overdramatic breakdown which was for naught. “Relax, all I did was sit in the seat and hold your sticks. That’s all. Josh can vouch for me that I didn’t touch your precious drums.” He shot daggers at you anyways, pushing hair out of his face as he readjusted his seat.
“Does she have to be here?” He asked directly to Josh, but you went to the boy, wrapping your arms around him and giving the biggest smile you could to Danny. “Of course. Josh always needs me here.” Batting your eyelashes at him, he rolled his eyes, mumbling under his breath at you as you went and took your seat once again.
Danny’s eyes never left you for the remainder of the day.
Your car was always something that everyone teased you for. It was an older car for sure, but you fully believed in using something until it absolutely could not do its job anymore. Your car was running just fine.
Did it sometimes stall out or break down in the middle of traffic? Very rarely. Today just happened to be one of those days. You groaned as you realized that you were going to have to get out and push it, cars honking behind you like that was going to help the situation.
When you got out, you were immediately met with his curly hair bouncing as he jogged over to where you stood next to your car. Shaking your head as he approached you, you turned away. “Alright, let’s push it.” You refused to look at him as he moved towards the back of the car.
“Fuck! Nope, no, it’s okay. I have a guy-someone coming,” Danny shot you an unamused look. “I’m not playing around, come on!” He shouted, but you didn’t want to give in by asking him for help because you knew he would just use it against you in the future.
Scratching your head, you looked at him, hand shielding your eyes from the sun. “I got it. There's a gas station like a mile down, so don’t worry about it.” He didn’t wait for you any longer, knowing you had already put the car in neutral, he began pushing much to your dismay.
You grumbled, helping him at your door, steering as you did. “When was the last time this piece of shit was serviced?” Danny asked, but you were focused on pushing. “Not that long ago! I know how to take care of my vehicle, thank you very much.”
A sarcastic laugh fell from him. “Yeah and that’s why your service sticker on your windshield says you were due months ago.” You ignored him, flipping him off in your mind. When you got the car to a safer spot, he already had his phone out requesting service.
Crossing your arms, you refused to look at him as he stood right next to you, blocking the sun from your vision. “You can go now.” You spoke out, looking at your shoes. His own arms mimicked yours. “You can say thank you, you know?”
Biting back a snarky return, you looked up at him with a fake smile, “Thank you.” His hand ruffled your hair, but you smacked it away with a groan. “Anytime, goldie.” He turned on his heel, heading back to his own car.
Danny sat and waited to ensure that a tow truck was actually on its way and when it had loaded your car, he finally left. Smiling to himself because he had gotten you to say thank you. Even if it was a sarcastic thank you, it was still a thanks.
Despite not giving him an actual thank you, you were grateful. You just couldn’t show it to him. The man who challenged you at every turn, every chance he could. Even with things that he knew you were best at. Like baking.
A dinner party put on by Jake and Jita which had a different style than normal had you signing up for dessert. Each course was to be cooked at the house, in order, by a different pair. A cooking and baking standoff. Of course, Danny had also signed up for dessert.
You scowled at him the entire time, especially when you both got to the kitchen to begin. His curls held up in a loose ponytail, some curls framing his face, sweater sleeves rolled up, you fought not to look at his arms.
When the fuck did Danny get built?
Pushing the thought out of your head, you went into competition mode. You and Danny rubbed elbows the entire time, you shoving him every once and awhile, telling him to move over because he was encroaching on your space.
As you waited for the dessert to exit the oven, you were making your icing and decorations. From the corner of your eye, you could see him watching you. When he bumped into you again, you almost lost it.
“I swear to god, if you knock into me one more time, I will hurt you.” Danny nodded at your words, grabbing a handful of flour and smiling at you. “Oh yeah? What if I were to do this?” He threw the flour directly at you, coating your face, hair, and apron. When you opened your eyes, he had that same stupid smirk on his face.
Jita entered the kitchen at the exact moment you went to grab the milk, immediately halting you. “No! Absolutely not in my kitchen.” The oncoming food fight halted right in its tracks at her words. Speaking through gritted teeth you eyed him. “Can you at least grab me a damp towel please?”
He nodded, moving towards the sink and grabbing a towel as he did. When the wet fabric slapped against your skin, drenching you in the process, you nearly lunged at him. Without any time to, your timer went off to grab your food from the oven.
As you removed yours, you smiled to yourself as you saw his still rising. Grabbing the handle, you pulled the door open, slamming it shut right after, and watching as his dessert entirely sank. Feeling satisfied with the retaliation, you turned and saw his jaw hanging.
“You just ruined my dessert!” You shrugged, feigning innocence at his words. “Oh my bad. I thought that was my oven.” Smirking as you decorated yours, plating it, and waltzing out of the kitchen, you placed the tray in the center of the table.
Oh’s and ah’s flowed around the room as you beamed at your creation. When Danny set his sad display down, you had to bite back a laugh. “Well, I think it’s safe to say that this one goes to goldie. Hardly even a competition,” Jake bellowed out, nearly choking on his own laughter.
You were walking on air the rest of the night. Danny was fine with the loss. He sat with a grimace the rest of the night, but only to play into the part. He knew he had no chance of winning, not against you. Why wouldn’t he have some fun with it?
That was the key to your group. Having fun. Anyways you guys could, that was the goal. That varied week by week, but tonight it meant everyone was curled up in Sam’s living room having a Shrek marathon. Snacks being passed around, you were sharing the floor space with Josh, splitting a milkshake, two incredibly long straws went to each other’s mouths.
Everyone wore pajamas, there were insane amounts of blankets and pillows just strewn about. Your hand grabbed some licorice, but as you bit into it, you watched as Sam’s head peeked from the edge of the couch to catch your gaze.
His finger poked your cheek as he smiled. “Your birthday is next week.” Batting his hand away you leaned back into your pillows. “What about it?” You mumbled as you chewed. “What’re we doing? Does Conrad have anything planned?”
Giving him an unamused look, you focused your attention back to the screen. “Connor and I’m not sure. He hasn’t said anything. I’m not a birthday person anyways, you know that.” He only hummed in response. Danny’s eyes were fixated on you from his side of the couch.
Trying to figure out what he could do for you for your birthday that was appropriate for the situation you two were in. Flaming bag of dog shit at your front door seemed about right. It was all he thought about the rest of the night.
When your birthday came the following week, you smiled as you woke up to calls and texts from family and friends sending you birthday wishes. This was just like any other day for you, the only difference was your free drink at Starbucks instead of having to pay for it. Continuing on with your normal day, you were slightly down as you checked your phone.
Not one message from Connor.
You were interrupted when one of the clerks came to your office, knocking on the door and pulling your attention to her. “Birthday girl has a delivery!” Brows furrowed in confusion, you followed her out.
There sat a tremendous bouquet of your favorite flowers. All of the office girls were giddy as they wanted to see the full extent of the gigantic vase and its fillings. Your cheeks burned as you thanked everyone and retreated back to your office. With the door shut soundly behind you, you pulled the card out and glowed at the message.
Only the best for the golden girl who has captured my heart. With all my love I wish you the happiest of birthdays, sweet girl.
No name signed. You clutched the card to your chest, feeling your heart rate heighten. You didn’t think Connor was capable of doing something like this. And here you were cursing him just minutes earlier for forgetting. Of course he wouldn’t forget.
Then why didn’t he call? All day you had sat waiting for something, anything. Yet it was radio silence all damn day. Like he would’ve sent you those flowers and not gloated about it. Not a chance.
When you crawled into bed on the verge of tears, you decided that you were too furious to even try and go to bed. You knew Josh had told you that he was going to be living at the studio that week to get some additional work done, so that’s where you headed.
Sorely upset when you barged into the building and seeing no one inside, you grabbed your phone to call him, but jumped when a voice sounded from behind you. “Hey, happy birthday.”
Glowering at him, you kept your eyes attached to your phone. “Yeah, not really. Do you know where Josh is, Danny?” He took a seat at the sound board with a groan. “Left a couple hours ago. What’s wrong? Why so glum, sugar plum?”
Another dirty look in his direction, you took the seat opposite of him. “Just want to talk to Josh is all.” He hummed in false deep thought. “Is that so?” Biting your tongue, you responded, “Yup.” Popping the “p” at the end of your abrupt response had him leaning forward.
“Cause what I’m guessing happened is Sir Jackass forgot your birthday. That’s why you’re here looking for Josh, right? To vent to him about how horrible your boyfriend is. How he could possibly forget such an important day.” Your nostrils flared at his words, staring at him through your eyelashes. “Shut the fuck up, Danny. I’m not in the mood.”
He leaned forward some more, catching your eye. “There’s a real simple solution to this problem, you know? Fucking leave the man. If you weren’t with him, you wouldn’t be going through this. Problem solved.” A bitter laugh bubbled up at his words.
“Don’t comment on something you have no knowledge on. Don’t you have a bimbo to go stick your dick in and leave me the fuck alone?” The blow didn’t harm him in the least, sliding by that comment all together. “Really, no knowledge? Yet, this seems to be a fairly regular occurrence. You need to treat yourself better. Do something about it instead of feeling bad for yourself.”
Anger licked at your veins, body temperature rising as you shot up from your seat, staring down at the boy. “Because Danny is just the be all end all of everything, right? You fucking know it all, don’t ya? You know, where do you get the goddamn balls to go sticking your nose in places it shouldn’t be?” He remained quiet, letting you get the hurt and anger out now. He would be your punching bag.
“Not everyone gets the cream of the crop to choose from, Danny! Not all of us have people falling at their feet just begging to have a chance. We are not the same.” He stood at the end, eyebrows shooting up.
Blinking up at him, you were rooted to your spot, ready for the challenge. His voice was low, not a hint of rage in his tone. “Maybe you need to take a look around. You might be surprised by what you see, goldie.”
You left the studio shaking with irritation and bewilderment. What the hell did that even mean? Take a look around. At what? At who? You spent the remainder of the week stewing on that. Trying to figure out what he had meant.
Josh had sent you a text one evening, telling you that on Saturday you needed to be at his place by seven that night. Entirely forgetting that your birthday had been that week, that your birthday was the cause of that blowout with Danny. Not piecing together why he had invited you over.
It was given away as you saw the million cars parked on his street, lights shutting off as you arrived. When you got to the front door you could clearly hear Josh shushing people, whisper yelling that you were at the door. Him being inebriated was obvious as well.
Bracing yourself for the group on the other side, you played into the game as you opened the door. “Hey, Josh! Oh man, why are the lights off?” Your monotone voice was comical as you flicked the lights on, being greeted with a large group. Everyone adorned birthday hats, kazoos, and drinks in hand.
Laughing, you saw Josh jumping for joy as he rushed you, sweeping you into his embrace. “Happy birthday, goldie!” Your thanks was muffled by giggles, starting to go around and thank everyone for coming. Entirely ignoring Danny whose face was anything but excited to be there, you went to grab a drink with Jake.
Connor wrapped his arms around you from behind, the smell of booze wafting off of him in waves. “Hap-happy birthday, baby.” Not wanting to make a scene, you let him hug you before lightly pushing him off. He made no other efforts to talk to you all night, instead finding home with a small group of his own friends.
Nudging Josh, you smirked. “Let them back into your home?” His rosy cheeks went up as his smile grew. “Just to get him to leave us alone for the night. As long as they don’t cause any problems, we’re good.” Your hand cupped his cheek, lightly pecking it before pulling him into another hug.
“Thank you for the party, Josh.” He chuckled, tightening you in his grasp, but spoke over the now booming music. “Well, you’re welcome, but it was mainly-” he was cut off by Jake grabbing you for a game of beer pong happening on the back porch.
The entire night was a blast. Just being surrounded by your closest friends had your mood improving tenfold as the evening carried on. Music was thumping, laughter echoing off the walls, and booze flowing freely. This was exactly how you wanted to celebrate your birthday.
Danny was a fly on the wall the entire time. In such a shit mood he didn’t want to be around anyone really. Despite seeing the gleaming smile you had worn all night, he was furious about what had happened a few nights ago. How did you not see it?
His thoughts were cut off as he overheard the ongoing conversation happening next to him. There Connor stood with his god awful friends, babbling incoherently, but the second your name fell from his lips, Danny was intently listening.
“Yeah man, she was fre-freaking out because I forgot her fuc-fucking birthday. What is she, five?” He was slurring his words and laughing through them as his friends egged him on, but without realizing it, Danny had entered their circle.
His grip tightened on the bottle in his hand, knuckles going white as he narrowed his eyes on the guy. Unamused look stuck to his face, tongue running over his teeth. “You kn-know how long it’s be-been since we’ve had sex? Me forgetting,” he used air quotes around the word as he hiccuped before continuing on, “is my little punis-punishment for her acting like this.” His eyebrows shot up, nodding his head as his friends agreed with him.
Danny gave a smile to him, feigning friendliness. “Acting like what, Connor?” His eyes never left the swaying figure as he stood casually, one hand tucked in a pocket, the other setting his beer bottle down. Connor scoffed, trying to get Danny away from him. “Stay out of this bird boy.”
His friends laughed tirelessly at the remark, but Danny chuckled with them, taking a step closer to him. Connor’s face lit up with realization, a finger poking into Danny’s chest. “Wa-wait! Actually, if anything you know how I feel about her!” Danny nods, encouraging him to go on.
“Okay. Say it to my face then. How is she acting?” Connor chokes on a laugh, uttering the words haphazardly. “Like a bitch, dude.” It happened in a split second, but Danny’s arm had cocked back, barreling forward, and connected his fist with Connor’s nose, a loud crunch and shout silencing the room.
Connor fell back onto the coffee table, immediately getting drenched with the forgotten drinks sitting atop it. Blood poured from his nose, but Danny’s figure loomed over him still. Gasps had echoed out, music stopping, no one moving as they waited for the next move.
“Danny!” You yelled out, eyes wide in shock at what you had just seen. Jita’s hand gripped your arm tightly, her own face paralleling yours. Josh and Sam had crossed the room, placing firm grasps on their brother and trying to pull him away as Sam spoke, “Let’s take a breather, Danny.”
When Connor pointed back at Danny, hand still cradling his nose, everyone waited with baited breath. “Fucker broke my nose!” Danny pulled free from the boy's grips and stood over him again. His voice dripping with disdain, you didn’t miss the tremble of his hands.
“Next time you run your mouth like that it’ll be a lot fucking worse. Take that as your warning and get the fuck out of here. I don’t want to see your fucked up face again, understand?” He scrambled to get up from his spot, friends helping him up, but he spoke once more before making his exit.
“You’re fucking psycho, dude! She’s yours man. She ain’t fucking worth this shit. Fucking crazy ass people.” He was mumbling as he hastily stumbled from the house, the residence still drenched in silence.
Danny’s eyes met yours, how big and glossy they were as they peered at him, trying to silently communicate about what had happened. He swallowed thickly, knowing everyone was waiting for an explanation. “He called me dude. I told him I don’t like being called dude.” His eyes never parted from yours as he spoke, but you knew that wasn’t it.
Not with Danny. Something as trivial as that wouldn’t make him snap.
The rest of the night, he was continuously swarmed by people, pestering him with questions about what had happened. He refused to answer any by anyone who asked, even his own brothers. The one person he truly wanted to come and talk to him was avoiding him like the plague.
Being on edge for the remainder of the evening meant you couldn’t settle back down and enjoy the company of those around you. Instead, you stared off into the distance and tried to understand the events that had unfolded. You had heard what Connor said.
She’s yours.
What the fuck would make him say that to Danny of all people? Josh you could kind of understand because of how close you two were, but Danny? It didn’t make a lick of sense. As the night dwindled down, people continuously left and offered happy birthday wishes as they filed out of the home.
Aiding in taking down the decorations that were sloppily put up along all of the walls, you could hear your friends downstairs arguing over who got the last of the birthday cake, knowing they were going to be drawing funny things on Josh’s face because he had long since passed out on the couch.
The bathroom door opened and out walked Danny, knuckles lightly bruised, but a tiny bandage covered one cut. Not very well. He stopped dead in his tracks as he set sight on you. Setting the trash bag down, you motioned to one of the guest rooms, entering and hearing Danny follow you in, shutting the door quietly behind him.
Turning and facing him, you were on the offense. Arms crossed over your chest, refusing to back down, you stared him down. “You need to tell me what happened tonight.” His hands tucked into his pockets, rocking on his heels, shaking his head. “No.”
Scoffing, you felt the irritation bubbling in your gut. “Daniel! I’m not fucking around. If anyone deserves to know it’s me! I’m pretty sure my relationship ended tonight because of you. Knock it off and just tell me.” You weren’t sure which part of your statement ticked him off, but you watched him explode.
“Alright, fine! You want to know? The son of a bitch was running his mouth, said something about you that he shouldn’t have, and he got knocked on his ass for it! Any further questions?” You were more confused than before. “What did he say?” Your tone had evened out, voice dropping into a near whisper as you spoke.
Your eyes were drawn to his injured hand, not seeing his face when he replied to you. “No, I won’t repeat that.” Nodding in silence, you slowly went towards him, reaching for his hand. When you gingerly grabbed it, he put up no fight.
Fingers rubbing gently against the forming bruises, your brows furrowed. “Does it hurt?” He shrugged, trying to fight against the goosebumps that were erupting all over his body at the simplest of touches from you. When you finally tilted your head back to peer up at him, his gaze was already on you.
It was a split second reaction, leaning up to reach him and feeling his lips brush against your own for the first time. You had never felt anything like it. Something you had only read about. Nothing that could’ve ever been real. Entirely ridiculous.
So why was it actually happening?
You didn’t want it to end. Instead, your hands moved to his neck, one cupping the back and pushing him further towards you and the other moved to his jaw. The incredibly sharp feature was rock solid in your trembling hand.
His were entirely steady. Not a shake to be found as he deepened the kiss, crushing you to his body. Tongue swiping across your own, your entire body shook, a chill wracking your spine. He moved you towards the bed and when you felt your knees hit the edge, you immediately laid.
Danny didn’t break away, but followed you, chasing you. Not wanting to let you go for even a second. You had each other stripped unbelievably fast, a total blur, and a meshing of flesh. Your brain couldn’t catch up to the movements you were making.
Hooking your legs around his hips, you couldn’t wait another minute. “Danny, please. I need you, now. Please,” it was breathless and moaned out, your cunt throbbing with pleasure as you tried to get him in you as fast as you could.
His fingers pinched your chin, forcing your eyes to connect with his as he slid into you. Your eyes slammed shut, mouth falling agape, not a single noise emitting from you. He refused to move another inch until your eyes reopened and connected with his.
“Eyes on me, sweet girl.” You froze at the term of endearment, but you had no time to dwell on it because he continued his motions further, shutting up any thoughts you could’ve had. It was slow, unrushed, but deep, warming you from your head to toes.
It was something you couldn’t have even begun to think was possible. Something you had only seen in those stupid ass movies where the actress sees stars behind her eyes as her finish washes over her. It was even more intense for you, all muscles seizing and contorting in waves of pleasure you had never known were possible. Something you had only read in romance novels where you could feel the emotions crashing into you with every thrust of his hips as he chased his own release. His body trembled like he was rocked by an earth shattering earthquake, silencing his moans into your awaiting mouth.
Bodies stuck together with sweat, sweeping his curls from his eyes, you were seeing the deep brown swirls peering down at you in awe. Like this was a dream he was having. Needing to be told that this was true and real. That the threshold had been crossed between you two in ways you had never imagined could have.
His chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath, scared to look away from you and take in the scene around him. Your hands still held his cheeks in your warm hands, tugging him back towards you and connecting in a slow kiss.
You didn’t have much time, hurrying to redress after realizing that all of your closest friends were downstairs, probably waiting for you since this was your party. It was silent except for the noise echoing downstairs. Moving towards the door, you grabbed Danny’s wrist to stop him from leaving.
Placing a chaste kiss on his cheek, you whispered, the door opened just a crack, “Thank you, Danny.” You slipped out before he could respond, leaving him stunned and rooted to his spot to figure out what had just happened.
You didn’t see or hear from Danny for the next week. You weren’t sure you were supposed to be hearing from him. What was the protocol now? The longer the week went on without so much as a peep from him, you called Connor.
He reluctantly showed up, a knock out drag out fight to end the fucked up relationship that this had been. He had hardly put up much of a fight with regards to your relationship ending, but more on the part of how horribly he had treated you. You were entirely exhausted by the end of the night, Connor long since gone, but your body ached.
Craving the person you had never thought you would want in such a way. Not understanding why he wouldn’t want to call you. He had called you sweet girl. You had stared at the notecard from the flowers every single night since then. Was he lying just to get you into bed? No, that wasn’t Danny.
Was it?
Your fist collided with the wood, repeatedly hitting it until the door finally pulled open. A confused Danny stood on the other side, discontent dissipating as he saw who was making the ruckus at his home. It didn’t last very long because he could see the fury painted on your face.
Not uttering a word, he moved to let you enter his house. Storming in, you threw your coat onto the back of the couch, arms crossed soundly over your chest. He faced you, not wanting to overstep by speaking first. It was obvious you had come with a purpose, he didn’t want to take away from that.
“Why don’t you love me?” It came sure and strong. More of a declaration than a question. His features morphed to one of shock at your question. Looking around at his surroundings, he turned in a small circle, a breathless chuckle leaving him. “You have got to be kidding me. Goldie, are you serious?”
Refusing to back down, you only nodded. “For fucks sake, I’m in love with you! I’ve been in love with you for I don’t know how long. I thought you hated me, why would I risk telling you a damn thing when you acted like you did towards me?”
Fuck. You had fucked up. You recognized that now as you stood here seeing the emotions waft over his features and eyes, tumbling out in a pure confession. “I-I don’t know.” You mumbled, unsure of what else you could say.
“I’m so in love with you that I was willing to take the shitty ‘relationship’ we had because it was better than nothing. It was you interacting with me and talking to me. I needed at least that.” Your eyes welled with tears as he continued on, feeling your soul rip apart as the realization of horribly you had treated him dawned on you.
How could you not have seen this?
“And I had to watch you throw yourself into something you of all people did not deserve. Do you know how miserable that was for us? What I had to do to keep that fucker in check?” Your tears cascaded down your cheeks, but you shook your head, not understanding. “Wha-what?”
Danny’s hands were planted on his hips, head shaking as he replayed all of those encounters in his mind. “It-it doesn’t matter. I should’ve done that a long time ago. I don’t regret it. And I do love you, goldie. I do.”
Your hand reached into your pocket and pulled out the note, crossing the room to hand it to him. He took it gingerly from you, not looking you in the eye as he did. “Did you send the flowers to my work, Danny?”
Nodding his head, you didn’t hesitate or waste another minute, throwing yourself into his embrace. His lips were on yours instantly, tasting the salty tears that coated your face, but he didn’t care and neither did you. “I’m so sorry. I’m sorry,” you babbled through more tears, but he shook his head, holding your face in his hands, wanting you to look at him.
“We have nothing but time, sweet girl. Nothing but time.” You nodded, pulling him towards you once more, savoring the electric currents that flowed through you at the connection with him. The same connection that you had thought was once only a work of fiction. A sales tactic, but no.
What they say is true. It all makes sense once the person that was made for you is standing next to you, ready to face it all. Nothing worries you anymore because there’s nothing to fear as long as they’re with you.

Iris, Bruised Kisses and Quick Squeezes
⊹₊⋆ starring: kageyama tobio x actor!reader
Tumblr media
summary: "And I don't want the world to see me. 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken- I just want you to know who I am."
-
Saying ‘I love you’ is hard, especially when the person you’re talking to wants everything to be perfect.

cw: time skip tobio, mild angst, fluff, Kageyama pov, gn!reader (Don’t pay too much attention to the visuals. I just wanted to set the scene, hehe), suggestive themes (but for about two sentences).
a/n: SOMEONE STOP ME! I was just thinking of my 'selfships' and did this… also on ao3. This song deserves a huge shout-out because it's so Tobio-coded.

Tobio has never been the best with words. You knew that and never pressured him to say more than he should. You patiently waited whenever he was ready to talk or just sat in comfortable silence when the world became too much for either of you. A shared rare quietude was more than welcome, considering you two lived under a constant spotlight.
Tobio appreciated that more than anything. He appreciated how you asked nothing of him—a silent acknowledgment that you loved him no matter what. That's not to say there weren't other ways he could proclaim his love and appreciation, which didn't include tumbling over his words.
Stolen glances in a room full of people defined the early stages of your relationship. In more private moments, you held his hand in the car with tinted windows to hide from the benevolent media gaze and relentless gossip magazines- usually, back to whatever hotel he booked and scheduled so you could attend his away games (whenever your schedules align). You held his taped hand tighter after a challenging and stressful postgame interview.
One quick squeeze to ask if he's okay.
Tobio would respond with two to show that he was and interlocking your fingers whenever he wanted to discuss what bothered him later.
Of course, this little exchange applied to you as well.
Harsh blocking notes from a director while filming that you'd tell him about almost causing you to cry while grocery shopping - met with one quick squeeze of his hand. You'd return the exchange with two quick squeezes before returning to your quest to find a good wine to bring to the party.
Tobio surveyed any hint of distress, taking mental notes on what he could do to make you feel better. Sometimes, an annoying co-star and rumours of a budding romance happening on set during the press tour were met with Tobio holding your shaky hand and immediately interlocking your fingers with his. Driving home in silence after a frantic text from you asking to meet at whatever hotel or studio the interviews were taking place.
These little moments, accompanied by bruised kisses left only in places he could see, composed your relationship. They were a silent scream to a busy world, declaring that he was yours.
However, he wanted to say one thing that his body could never convey.
'I love you.'
Actually, he wanted to tell you that he loved you the first time he heard your real laugh. It's not the one you'd use with overly familiar people, and definitely not the one you'd use on screen or on stage. It was a laugh from the depths of your diaphragm, almost like an evil cackle. The first time Tobio heard it was when he decided to tell a stupid joke. Tobio knew it was a foolish joke because Shoyo told him it was. However, he decided to try it anyway because he had always thought it was funny.
His whole body relaxed when you clearly found it funny, too.
So after months and countless hints that you two were a couple in various interviews, you decided to take the leap and say, 'I love you.' Before walking the red carpet for a charity gala, he froze.
You looked incandescent. It's your first public appearance as a couple that didn't come from a shitty tabloid. Tobio could do it. He could finally say, 'I love you too.'
But he didn't.
The lighting wasn't right, and there was some lint on his suit that his stylist couldn't get out. The noises and camera shutters from outside the hotel were too much, so instead, he gave you a hurried kiss on the head, careful not to mess up your hair, and intertwined his hands with yours. He didn't miss the way your hand fell limp in his. He also didn't miss the empty laugh you let out in every carpet interview. Something he hadn't heard in months. Even on your press tours, the cracks of your authentic, not the heavily influenced PR persona, faded into obscurity.
But not tonight.
Tonight, you dawned on that mask he was too familiar with. The person you were before Tobio. He tried not to cry while answering questions about what designer he was wearing that night. All while you were dazzling the room in his peripheral.
On the ride back to the hotel, you kept your hands to yourself, thumb playing with the ring he'd given you years ago when you were just friends. That ring was always a non-negotiable whenever your stylist asked if you'd want to take it off for the night. Tobio didn't miss how you'd been playing with it all night.
After getting undressed and assistants ensuring that all the pieces picked by your respective stylists were secured and ready to return to the designers the following day, you'd settle into bed. You had your hair up, and an oversized sweater he'd given you hung just above your hips- giving a tiny peak at the bruised kisses he left the night before. Reaching across the nightstand to grab your phone, you continuously scroll while Tobio does his nighttime routine. The usual nighttime chatter between you, which filled the room, was replaced with the air conditioner's hum and a bustling city life.
'Good night, Tobio,' you hummed, placing your phone back on the nightstand before letting your eyes flutter close.
Tobio watched for a while as your chest rose and fell, your shoulders unravelling and subconsciously releasing the stress he caused. His gaze fixed on how at peace you looked, how beautiful you were. He realized that there was no 'perfect time.' Every time spent with you is perfect. You asked nothing of him. The least he could do is show you, tell you, whatever you want.
Before he can even think, he says, 'I love you too.'
Stirring in your slumber- he clambers to turn off the table lamp, anxious that you'd heard him. Before he could get up to sleep on the couch, you intuitively sling an arm across his chest as if it were second nature to pull him close. You squeeze him and snuggle into his chest before your soft snores fill the room. Tobio eases into the embrace, kissing you on the forehead. Snaking an arm underneath your head to act as another pillow, he pulls you closer to him and gives you two quick squeezes.
The scent of your shampoo is interwoven with the fresh linen sheets placed earlier that day. Tobio rubs your back until he drifts off to sleep, switching between quick squeezes and writing 'I love you so much' up and down your spine. As he teeters between consciousness and a deep REM sleep, he swears that you mumbled, 'I know.'

a/n: SHY TOBIO, I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOO!!! I was originally going to write a headcanon, but it just tumbled out of me! I think this is very on-brand for his character. I love you all, and I hope you're having a good week!
