Re-reading "Insurgent" and getting angry by the scene when Tris decides to extradite herself to Jeanine made me think about why so many female main characters are so over the top serious and selfless and what the others would have done.

Katniss would have done the same and probably have gone insane about something on the way to Jeanine.

Same with Kylie from "Shadow Falls Camp", but she would have spend the way crying.

Clary Fairchild would have done the same thing as Tris.

Alina Starkov would have done the same thing and then burned down the whole building.

Bella would also have done what Tris did, but would have gotten into a completely unrelated danger on her way to Jeanine, let's say a giant opossum trying to kill her or something, and Edward would have shown up in the last possible moment to save her and bring her back before she even had the chance to see Jeanine.

Wild from "Shadowspell" would have taken the people she trusts most, entered the building through a secret entrance and killed Jeanine while getting various life-threatening injuries you are usually not supposed to survive

Started reading this again, this book was starting to bore me then I started to read it again, I actual enjoy the clarification of the events occurring

I would love someone to talk to about this book

Thoughts : is the soldier dude her dad ? Or relative ? He knew her grandmother. Did her dad and Ms Holliday start dating ? Yes or yes lmaoooo

I’m confused about the lion because it’s usually Perry who is trying to see her naked but it’s a tiger 🐅 in her room who randomly appeared???

reading update 3:

I did not end up reading Shatter Me. I also have not finished The Final Gambit

HOWEVER, I did start to reread a series that I haven't read in I believe two years. its called Shadow Falls, written by C.C. Hunter, and consists of 5 books. I finished the third book last night, and I plan to start book 4 tonight or tomorrow

when I finish Shadow Falls, I will 100% be reading the sequel trilogy to it, then finish TFG, and then I might end up reading Shatter Me

no comment on where Red Queen stands, I love the series but I'm still not sure if I'll be able to stick through a full reread
