Hera has hugged Yrica Quell multiple times and yet she never hugs Sabine or Ezra in Rebels.
Where is the justice is this???

I owe Dave Filoni an apology
Every time I've talked about things I don't like about his story writing, the zillo beast plot hole is one of my main talking points. 🤣

In light of the oncoming anti Jedi nightmare of the acolyte (and filoni's crap) let us take solace in the fact that when asked if Rey would have any bio kids, Daisy Ridley's response was "no she's a Jedi"

I think Timothy Zahn should have a full custody over a child (Thrawn).
Dave Filoni just doesn't get him like he does.

Are you seriously telling me that all of that work happened just to separate Zeb from Kallus.
I used Zeb's appearance in the Mandalorian as a reason he would definitely show up again! "Oh, why would they put all that effort and time and money into creating a live-action model for him if he was only going to appear in the Mandalorian briefly and then not be in the Ahsoka show, aka Rebels Season 5? That would be ridiculous!" Yeah keep laughing past-Martian, it did go down like that. I thought there had to be some deeper reason he was there, like setting the groundwork to appear again later, because why would he be pulled away from a pretty conclusive happy ending in Rebels just for some two-bit meaningless cameo in a show he had no connection to? Where's the logic in that? How does that make any sense? But no. That's all it was. And on damn top of it all, Kallus was never mentioned once in Ahsoka. Not once. Zeb is inexplicably away from Lira San with a job training recruits with no explanation as to how he decided to do it or how long he's been doing it or if Kallus is with him or even if Kallus is still alive.
All that time and effort was put the hell into trying to create a version of Zeb post-Rebels where he is explicitly not living on Lira San and there is no Kallus by his side.

Thinking about Rebels and like. Why can’t Star Wars be that good again?
Like Rebels had everything:
Best M/F relationship in SW history
protagonist with a somewhat unique personality and a really well done character arc
Badass lesbian who blew up fascists
Cranky purple gay man that electrocuted fascists with his Bo staff (best weapon)
Droid companion who was actually funny and unique
A pretty consistent story arc
A great finale
And now we’ve got Whitewashing: The Bad Show, Watch The Mandalorian Get Worse, and Tales of Dave Filoni Ruining Canon. I just miss rebels man.

Ahsoka Tano: *Survives encounters with General Grievous, Ventress, Cad Bane (who's absurdly on the level of Obi-Wan), Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Order 66, the literal embodiment of the dark side, and one-shots Inquisitors.*
Will no one rid me of this parasite!?

Need everyone saying Sabine being trained to be a Jedi makes no sense, that Dave Filoni is breaking consistency and acting like he’s ruining lore to read this and SHUT THE HELL UP. Just because YOU personally don’t like an idea/concept does not mean it’s bad writing or wrong, you just don’t like it. You can say you don’t like something and go instead of trying to vilify writers because what they wrote doesn’t line up with your own headcanon.

The Ahsoka show might be great. It might suck. It might just be mid. Either way I’m glad Rebels is gonna be essential viewing (I mean more than it already is) and the normies will no longer have any excuse to blatantly ignore it just cause they assume it’s Too Kiddy because of the art style. I had to deal with people saying Solo was the first time the Imperial March was established as the Empire’s in-universe national anthem. I had to deal with people saying Fallen Order was the first time a Jedi knighting ceremony was shown in canon. I had to deal with people watching Clone Wars season 7 and thinking Ursa was the Armorer cause they didn’t take five seconds to read the end credits. I had to deal with people who didn’t watch Clone Wars OR Rebels talking about Mandalore stuff and thinking they know more than me cause they skimmed a Wookieepedia article. I had to deal with people saying the Obi-Wan show should’ve been about Maul hunting down Obi-Wan as if it wasn’t a story that had already been told 5 years prior. No more. At long last I shall be free.

What was even the point of the season two finale? Is season three just Dave and Jon erasing the finale? The best episode of the Mandalorian and (in my opinion) Star Wars?
Season 2 finale: Din wins the darksaber
Season 3: Din loses the darksaber
Season 2 finale: Din and Grogu heartbreakingly but beautifully part ways
Season 3: jk they’re together again 😜
Season 2 finale: Moff Gideon is captured
Season 3: oh no Moff Gideon escaped!!!
Season 2 finale: Din takes off his helmet, sacrificing his culture for his son
Season 3: nm took a lil dip and all is forgiven helmet’s never coming off again
Like commit to the bit, boys. Don’t be lazy. Plot matters.

actually infuriating how the no attachment (at all ever and aren’t the jedi HORRIBLE??) thing has come to dominate all aspects of starswar fanon and canon regardless of the time period when it’s less than half as old as the franchise.

I was so excited to see Yaddle and get to know her better in Tales of the Jedi and instead I just ended up hating her for saying Dooku had been right about everything and the Council was stupid and incompetent and arrogant.
Thanks a lot Felony, I hate it.
