"The Tide" - The Spill Canvas

The first song that I ever remember actually giving me goosebumps. I distinctly remember the first time I heard it: 16 years old, sitting in my bright yellow bedroom, procrastinating going to bed. It's a sad, fucked up song about a woman who is so swept up in her own depression and heartbreak that she doesn't notice when her three children drown while playing in the ocean.

There are so many good lyrics in this song:

"Heaven's not a place that you go when you die. It's that moment in life when you touch her and you feel alive. So live for the moment."

"And he can't understand how everyone goes on breathing when true love ends."

But what really got me was the last minute of the song, when the music swells, and you find out that the three children have died: "And she didn't even notice or pay much attention as the tide came in and swept her three into the ocean. Now all her good advice, it seems useless."

Ugh, so good.

I am so intrigued by and obsessed w the assassin-like woman in The Tide and Flow. Like what the fuck is her deal? Is she friend or foe? The Tide seemed to suggest she was an ally of sorts and Apoc wasn't hostile to her but Flow shows that she more than likely is an enemy of sorts (whether shes workin alone w her own agenda or for an unknown higher power tho Remains To Be Seen).

Also. Why did she have a key to the Arcadia machine? What was the microship-like square she put on Apoc after he activated the Arcadia machine? Did she "hack" him? Is he like "possessed"? What the fuck is up with her? And is Apoc gonna fight/tryta kill CAHS Per and Banjo in the shippin container that holds the Arcadia machine?

And speakin of Arcadia, how the Fuck does Arcadia fit with alla this? Considerin SIP has said several times the Arcadia Saga and Arc is over what's their plan with bringin back the most Prominent Symbol of that Saga and Arc?
