He definitely thinks you’re a little crazy. What’s so appealing about a worn out, money grubbing yakuza like him? Surely it’s not the late night B movie marathons, and certainly not the way he shed tears at the slightest sentimental moments that let you know he cherishes making memories deeply. He held himself at such a distance for so long that his descent was inevitable, it was hard to be a tough guy when one person always managed to wrangle out your hidden affectionate side. But being brave enough to even search for it earned you brownie points, so Sakyo almost felt like he had no choice but to give in lest he create more trouble for himself.

No ones seen him the way you have. Even when he stumbled, or messed up a line, or proved he’s hopelessly awkward when it comes to expressing his feelings, you had never laughed at him. He doesn’t feel deserving of your friendship or admiration let alone your love, not when you had done so much to defend him and more while he simply existed in your world with no clue on how to show you how he felt. He had never understood any of Muku’s romance manga but he was slowly starting to understand what it meant to want to protect someone’s smile.

When a true romantic falls in love an angel gets their wings, as well as there being an extra layer of dedication added into the mix. He’s so specific with courting you right, making handmade crafts or homemade food as presents, wanting to give you everything he could possibly get his hands on. He wanted you to see the best parts of him not realizing that life was not a fairy tale; to truly love a person, you needed to know their flaws as well. Knowing you wanted to love him to the fullest extent possible made his heart stop in his chest, even while he still had plenty of growing to do. He hoped that was an adventure you could make together.

Hardly one to fall for a traditional romance, Banri was stubborn as a mule when it came to giving his heart away. For all the flirting he did with you there was still a carefully crafted gap, a purposeful distance, a man who was shockingly considerate of what a relationship with him might do to a person. He had never felt loyalty so strongly like he did to you, the complicated dance you partook in all the more invigorating for him. Finding someone who could match his rhythm, meet him step for step without faltering, was a partner that Banri couldn’t simply ignore.

You are bold to take on the challenge that is Takato Tasuku. Even more single-minded than Tsumugi, you might have to take more drastic measures to draw his attention. It’s almost like he’s unwilling to see what’s right in front of him, but he wasn’t a fool. He’s not afraid of change either but he doesn’t want to partake in a relationship with impossible standards. He can be thoughtful and display his honest feelings, but you had to understand that he’s human above all else. He’s not the charming prince persona he was forced to play countless times in his Godza days; he didn’t always know what to say, and sometimes he might be too blunt, but it didn’t make the love he felt for you any less real.

Banri ate the Pockys that Juza bought just this morning and stashed it somewhere in their shared room. “Since when are you eating them?” You asked your dear friend, glancing up from your phone to stare at the boy in front of you. “Found them. They are the idiot’s sweets and I thought “Hey, why not annoy him?”.” Banri smirked as you shook your head, knowing that they will start arguing sooner or later again.

“Are you ready to lose?” You grabbed the controller in front of you, wanting to play the game with your best friend, who sat himself down next to you. “We both know, that I will be the winner.” He stuck out his tongue, before he gave you a shit-eating grin.

While you two started playing, Banri still had won every battle, even though his focus was on you. Not the character you were playing, no, it was you and your adorable face and the funny expression you did, while you tried to win against the autumn troupe actor. “Tomorrow is the big day…” You just nodded your head.

It was truly a big day. After all, it was your birthday!

And your best friend, whose knee had brushed yours, while eating a few snacks, had hoped that you might like the little present he had bought you. That was after all, the first gift that he wanted to give you.

The second one, on the other hand… Well… That was confessing his crush on you. After a very long time, that annoying guy, that you had dearly by your side, had developed a crush on you. A big one.

Had he any time to confess his feelings to you? Not really. He was too busy with the mankai company, just like you were busy with your plans.

But there were times, he just wanted to press you against a wall and confess to you, just like all these boys in the mangas that Muku loves to read.

There were times, he could have done it, but would you reject him?

Maybe… Maybe Banri might be a bit too afraid to to get a rejection of his best friend and crush.

You grunted, not realizing that Banri’s eyes wandered towards the door and stare at one dark-haired actor of the same troupe and roommate of his. He mouthed some words towards him. Words that made Banri’s blue orbs roll, nodding slightly his head and continued to play the game.

“Make a move, idiot.” Were the words Juza had mouthed to him. “Or else you will never get an answer.”

Hours went by and the autumn troupe leader was still winning like a pro. Hours! Damn hours and he still didn’t know how to tell you it… Even during this all-nighter. He wanted to tell you this before your birthday so… Maybe… No…

A sigh left the light brunette actor. “Something wrong?” You asked him, (e/c) not leaving the game. “Did you know that I have a crush on you?” Banri finally had uttered it out.

“What?” You moved your gaze at him, not noticing that he had killed you in the game again. “Aaaand you lost.” He mumbled. “You have a crush on me?” The only thing that your best friend did was to roll his eyes. “Isn’t that a bit obvious. I wasn’t really hiding it and even that damn Hyodo had figured it out.”

Your eyes widen at his words. Had everybody known about it already?

“So…?” He put his controller down, watching your movements closely. “Are you rejecting me now?”

Your cheeks warmed up, confused and happy to finally hear these words from Banri. “I could never reject you, Ban… I like you too… A lot.” You smiled at him back, hands intervening with his. “Good… So, we are a thing now?” You chuckled, nodding his head.

“Great- Oh, right.” He glanced to the side. “It’s midnight… And your birthday starts in… 3… 2… 1… Happy birthday, (y/n).”

In addition, he‘s somewhat of a wholesome possessive. He doesn‘t actually get jealous and tries to keep you all to himself in a toxic way. He does, again, as a teasing way. Give him a little smack and watch his playful side crumble with his laugh, leaving a genuine smile on his lips, as he gazes at you as if you were the only light he‘s ever seen.

…kisses with much hesitancy. If it was anyone else in his position, he‘d probably say something like „How much can ya do wrong in a kiss anyways?“, but it is him in his position…Suddenly he wonders if he could hurt you if he puts too much pressure on your lips. As if that would ever be physically possible with how he melts into a puddle during a kiss. He turns completely into mush, mumbling out a little „thanks“ for no other reason than not knowing what else to say.

Taichi Nanao…

…kisses with accidental force. Excitement and endless nervousness come together to overload the poor boy. He‘s trying his best to stay leveled, but more often than not you two end up bumping into each other. It‘s not painful or uncomfortable, just enough to notice.

Omi Fushimi…

…kisses you casually, and with a warmth and softness that makes you fall for him once again. This gentle giant is just filled with unconditional love and admiration for you, and it shows in absolutely everything he does for you, kisses are no exception. As much as he‘d love to capture every kiss you share in a photograph, he much rather captures them in his mind and heart instead.

Sakyo Furuichi…

…kisses you in moments of passion and emotion. As a yakuza, he has to follow certain protocol to keep up appearances, safe to say it has molded into his personality over those many years. Thus, physical touch was not something he was that well acquainted with. Every time your lips meet his, it‘s like everything inside of him explodes in a gigantic firework. It leaves him speechless for just a moment, before he manages to regain his posture. With every kiss, he hopes he can make you feel just as incredibly loved as you him.

🍂 Okay, not subtle subtle, but he won’t outwardly flirt with you as much as if he didn’t have feelings for you.

🍂 For example, he’d always be doing small things for you, like carrying your bags or buying you something if you didn’t have the funds. Just a bunch of small deeds that start to stack, almost to the point where you want to start refusing because of just how much he is willing to do.

🍂 The thing is, his easy mode usually applies to romance. He knows what works to get a partner and what doesn’t. He is able to analyze how to get anyone he wants and knows what to do to get their heart, but you? ✿ you were an aspiring stuntman, to the stress of your parents. but unfortunately someone of your age didn't get a lot of opportunities, least of all in films, so you decided to turn to the world of theatre acting and find work there.

✿ you were 18, on your first year in university though you unsurprisingly weren't particularly focused on your studies. banri was a year younger than you, at 17.

✿ you'd already been scouted for the autumn troupe, as izumi thought that it was the troupe that needed someone for more challenging roles. and when banri came into "audition" and bad mouthed you, he got a fist to the face faster than ever before. you subsequently realized what you did and refused to come out of your room for the next two days.

✿ you and banri were assigned to room together (on sakyo's orders). it did not start out good, as banri kept trying to get you to actually fight him, while you adamantly refused to even speak to him. it wasn't until you had to actually start practicing that you were actually forced to talk.

✿ for banri, it was love at first sight. sort of, anyways. he's always been attracted to people who can beat his ass (even if he didn't particularly pick up on it) but your 'take-no-shit' attitude really hit it home. at first you didn't like banri, and then you just got embarrassed by your behavior. how could you just punch someone, no matter how annoying they are? and then having to room with him... well, you debated locking yourself away in your room for the rest of eternity. away from him.

✿ you were the charismatic leader of the theatre club at your school, but as you were soon set to graduate you wanted to find a more permanent spot to continue acting at. thankfully, you'd recently been informed of the mankai company by a friend of yours.

✿ you were 17, the same age as juza. you'd been into acting since you were way too young to remember, but you'd not seriously started doing it until you were in high school.

✿ it was even prior to the audition, when juza came to your club room to ask you to give him acting lessons. delighted by his "enthusiasm" you gladly said you'd teach him, which turned out to be a bit too big of a promise. but you weren't ready to give up on him, not if he was to become a co-actor of yours.

✿ you had two weeks until audition, and you promised to spend all your free time teaching juza. you'd meet up at your place every few days, and though juza was a hard student to have, you did manage some progress during your two weeks.

✿ juza had admittedly had a huge crush on you for years, as had most of the omega population of the school. but actually meeting you, he couldn't help but grow an even deeper love for you and your passion for acting. juza was admittedly a difficult student in the art of acting, but you could respect his love for the craft. so even if you struggled to keep from screaming whenever he monotonously recited another line, you didn't out of sheer liking for him and his silly ways.

✿ you were a nihon buyo dancer, as your oma had been, and her oma before her. you were actually the first alpha in your family to take on the practice, but as an only child it was to be expected. but you weren't quite satisfied with your craft, and thought that some theatre acting practice could help you improve.

✿ you were 17, and under the tutelage of your oma still. unfortunately for her, you were starting to really hit that phase where you wanted independence. taichi was 16 at the time.

✿ you'd just had another argument with your oma, which led to you storming off. you ended up stewing on a park bench by yourself, where taichi happened to catch sight of you, and being a gentleman raised by two alpha's went over to comfort the distressed omega. you were not happy to discover his assumption later on.

✿ while you were initially not very happy about being approached casually, taichi had the sort of puppy energy that made you forgive him quickly. that, and he listened to you rant for almost an hour and didn't complain, which made him pretty good in your eyes.

✿ taichi just thought that you were a pretty omega, as with his limited world view he'd never even considered an alpha doing an elegant hobby like dancing. probably why he didn't particularly mind your "weirdly" strong personality. to you, taichi came across as a cute little puppy, a little omega with a good heart. so, he was the cutest thing you'd ever seen. though your upset mind didn't really pick up on it instantly, you had already grown a bit of a crush on him.

✿ you were... well, you were the leader of a biker gang. you'd been one for three years already, though you were slowly starting to doubt the lifestyle you'd chosen and were thinking of quitting. but you still needed a small nudge to take that step

✿ you were 20, a year older than omi. you'd been part of your biker gang for six years at that point, and became the leader at 17 after the sudden death of your previous leader.

✿ you were staring at a shelf of cleaning supplies, having an internal crisis in the middle of a grocery store. you didn't really mean to, but you'd been thinking about your life for days now. and a certain photographer was staring at you in turn, wondering what the hell you were doing. he really needed to get to those cleaning supplies. you almost screamed when he finally tapped you on the shoulder.

✿ after almost kick-dropping omi to the floor, you reluctantly apologize and help him with his groceries. omi didn't actually mind (he understood the instinctual reaction) but was grateful anyways, which ended up with him rambling about his life, which made something with you click.

✿ omi didn't take long to realize what kind of life you'd lived (or were still living, he wasn't sure), and he felt rather bad. he'd never want anybody to live the kind of life he had in high school (oh, if only he knew). he was hoping you'd turn out fine. you had never met such a pretty man before, especially not one so kind. for the first time in a long time you felt bad for the instincts instilled in you since your youth, and hearing him talk about his life made you think about exactly how badly your life was going.

✿ you were the child of a yakuza boss, though you weren't particularly interested in your appa's work. instead, you loved acting and dancing, which she didn't particularly agree with but was glad to see you happy. you, on the other hand, didn't care for her opinion on the matter.

✿ you were 6, the same age as sakyo. you were living full-time with your appa, who'd actually inherited the group from your oma who'd died a few years ago.

✿ you were on veludo way with one of your appa's subordinates, who was assigned to babysit you. it didn't take long for you to run away from them though, and end up at a certain theatre company where a group was rehearsing. there, a little stern looking boy caught your attention and you immediately decided that he had to be yours.

✿ after actually talking to sakyo (read as: you talked his ear off while he kept wondering where you appeared from), you kept showing up to the mankai company practices, both to see them and to talk to sakyo, who you were absolutely determined to make your friend.

✿ sakyo was mostly confused by you. you showed up out of nowhere, declared him your new friend, and kept showing up to talk about the magic of acting. at least that last part he could tolerate, but you did initially weird him out, a lot. you weren't really certain what about sakyo made him so interesting to you, you just knew that he was. so even when he was less than enthusiastic about your offers of friendship, you didn't take them particularly seriously. nothing would make you give him up.

✿ you were pretty much a common thug. you'd like to describe yourself otherwise, but you weren't dumb, you knew that you didn't mean much more to the yakuza group you were part of. it was just the lot in life you were born to.

✿ you were 14, while azami was 13. far too young for the life you were living, but having been born into a yakuza family you didn't have much of a choice.

✿ you were really just on a walk, having nothing better to do when you laid eyes on a very lost looking boy who you immediately recognized as a rivalling group's leader's kid. you weren't really sure what to do in a situation like this, but you couldn't let such an opportunity pass you by. so you immediately went up to him, under the guise of wanting to help.

✿ azami was looking for a make-up store, which you rather easily directed him to. you didn't really care for it, but your oma liked experimenting with her make-up. this seemed to get azami comfortable enough to start talking to you, which lead to the topic of his dreams. something about listening to him made you think.

✿ azami didn't actually pay much attention to you at first, really only interested in finding the damn make-up store. but once he actually started talking, and got one look at your amazed face, something in his chest jumped a little. you also didn't really pay much attention to the kid at first, beyond his usefulness to you. but once he started talking... something about his passion for such a mundane thing (to you) was so endearing. you were certain that you just fell in love.

Yandere Team-ups: Banri Settsu & Juza Hyodo

Guard dogs

As you can imagine they both are constantly fighting over their darling but will easily work together on a conflict involving their darling

Both are very overprotective with banri leaning into being controlling while juza is just trying to keep them safe even from the smallest of dangers.  

Technically their darling could use juza to avoid punishment or at least make things a bit more manageable.

Of course, banri hates this, making them fight over how to hold their darling once they are in their care.

Barni tends to be stricter and a bit harsher towards their darling while juza is softer and a bit more lenient. However, their darling should keep in mind that barni isn't cruel and juza is not a pushover they just handle things differently.  

Even though they fight a lot they do complement each other by having what the other may lack.

“Ha! Haa! Die you noob!” Banri shouted at his enemy on the screen. It was your 2 weeks break, so you decided to stay for the at the dorms despite being like a little sister to Izumi—it still took a lot of convincing to Sakyo on your part but it was thanks to Izumi that he was convinced—well more like forced to let you stay. On the condition that you will be helping out Izumi throughout your stay which isn’t so bad.

“Oh my goodness Banri, why do you always have to find me when I respawn, stop itt!!!” You complained. “Aww, you just have to do better then.” He teased but it was short-lived thanks to Itaru. “What the!” He exclaimed, “Blegh. Stop being so lovey-dovey it sucks to feel like the third wheel.” He deadpanned. “You mean to be the third wheel.” You chided. “Ooooohhh!! Nice one babe.” Banri said, “HAHAHA—HEY!! Why’d you—Why praise me if you're just gonna kill me.” You complained, “It’s not my fault I'm too good at this deathmatch.” He gloated while you just rolled your eyes.

“Ugh! You’re the worst.” You said, “But you love me.” He teased, “Oh I dunno, do I?” You replied. “Again, stop with the LQ.” Itaru deadpanned, “Don’t worry Itaru-san you’ll fi—WHAT HEY BANRI?! AGAIN!?” You complained once again. “Aw come on, babee, I know you can do better than that.” He taunted. Too mad to shout you answered, “You’re actually right, I can play better games than this.”

“Hey what? That’s not what I—HEY BABEE!!” Banri said facing you but he immediately turned back to his screen when you managed to kill him right before the match ended. “Awww, couldn’t keep your precious death count free from me?” You taunted. You three gamed all night, unbeknownst to Banri that you actually meant what you said, and updated Mystic Messenger. It’s been a long time since you’ve played it, so it wouldn’t be so bad to play it once more. It was 12 am so it was the perfect time to immediately start.

Throughout the days while helping Izumi, the members who were frequently around you noticed that you have been checking your phone non-stop. Whenever they’d ask, you’d answer, “I was checking for any notifs and the time.” Those who asked would nod their heads or raise their brow at you but didn’t pry any further.

Well, technically you aren’t lying to them since you are telling the truth, you're not just specifying it. Like the usual, you three are gaming in Itaru’s room. A match just ended and a new chatroom has opened, “Wait before we enter queue, lemme double-check something.” You said, checking the website with the chatroom schedule, you saw that the next one doesn’t open in two hours from now.

“Alright, I’m good.” You told them and opened the chatroom while waiting for the matchmaking. You were smiling and laughing to yourself but it was short-lived when you heard ‘Match Found.’ iykyk after picking who you want to use, you go back to reading the chatroom and made sure to finish it before the match starts.

After gaming the night away, you three finally decided to hit the hay. Banri was already lying down in the bed while you were still sitting up, waiting for the new chatroom to open in a few minutes. "You're still not yet tired?" Banri asked while hugging your waist.

"I am but I just need to handle something. it'll be done in 10 minutes or so." You answered. Too tired to pry any further, he just nodded his head and slept hugging your waist.

TUESDAY - 7 AM [CHATROOM DAY 4]

The next day passed and it was still the same routine, helping here and there but without your usual habits of checking the time and notifs. Some members were quite worried and some were piqued with this new habit of yours, but it's not like they had a problem with it since it wasn't hindering your work nor was it bothering them.

Then when night time came, you would game with Itaru and Banri, but on certain times when chatrooms don’t have a 1 hour interval, you’d sit out and focus on your phone. Only joining them once you’ve finished the chatrooms and other things like the calls, texts, and emails. This “same routine” happened for another 2 days.

THURSDAY - 7 AM [CHATROOM DAY 6]

Whenever Banri noticed you squealing, smiling, or giggling to yourself while playing Mystic Messenger. He’d try to look over your shoulder or ask what it’s about. You simply answer with “Nothing important.” “Ah, nothing much.” “Nothing special.” “Ah, something you don’t need to worry about.”

Banri has certainly had enough because you were no longer paying attention to him. Just like when you two were about to go to bed, you were still sitting up and waiting for the chatroom but this time, Banri wasn’t going to sleep. Not until he gets a proper explanation of your recent behavior.

“Hey Y/n, are you sure you're not cheating on me?” He asked, his tone was very serious and you could feel his sharp gaze on you. “Now why would I do that?” You asked, looking up from your phone to him. “Well I don’t know, maybe it’s because my girlfriend has been paying attention to her phone and laughing and squealing at it. With no proper explanation.” He answered ever so sarcastically.

Rolling your eyes at him, “Pft, well sorry for making you jealous.” You said with a small grin. “Huh—What?! That’s not—“ He was about to exclaim but you cut him off by covering his mouth. “Shhhh, you’re gonna wake up Juza, sheesh. Alright, I’ll tell you. It’s Mystic Messenger.” You told him while removing your hand.

“Why did you have to keep that a secret then?” He asked, “Cause I know you’d want to join in and play with me too but I wouldn’t want to hurt your ego since you won’t be able to beat me at it.” You taunted, “Is this a challenge that I hear?” He smirked. “If your ego is ready to take a blow, then yes. It is a challenge.” You answered, “Alright then, I’ll start right now.” He declared

“We haven't even decided about how you will win your challenge." You said. "What? Don't I just complete the game in a short time to beat you?" He asked. "That's not it dummy, every player will take 11 days to finish unless you decide to skip the common route for hourglasses, but since you're a beginner you can't." You explained

"What?!" He exclaimed, "Shhh, goodness it's a miracle that Juza is still asleep with all your shouting." You rebuked. Sighing to yourself, you explain the whole mechanics of the game to him. "How in the world do I beat you then?" He asked with a face filled with disappointment. "It's simple, you just need to get a good ending without cheats.” You answered, “It’s Thursday—Well technically Friday already. If you start right now, I’m gonna check up on your progress this coming Tuesday.” You added

FRIDAY - 12:04 AM [Y/N’S CHATROOM DAY 7 ; BANRI’S CHATROOM DAY 1]

“Well I better start now, if I wanna prove to you that I can beat you in every game—even these otome games.” He taunted “Suit yourself, I’ll be cheering on you then.” You said before giving him a peck on the cheek. Feeling very confident that he was gonna reach a bad ending and slept the night away.

TUESDAY - 9 AM [Y/N’S CHATROOM DAY 11 ; BANRI’S CHATROOM DAY 5]

Days passed and watching Banri rage over failing to answer the correct choice in emails, the wrong choices in chatrooms, and missing the chatrooms were so entertaining.

You two could just be sitting beside each other quietly and doing your own thing when you suddenly hear him saying "HA?!" "What?!" "Y/N what's wrong with this game?!" or anything of the like. “There’s nothing wrong with the game—you just answered it incorrectly.” You would answer every time.

Now it was the moment of truth for Banri but he just doesn’t know it yet. After playing the game so many times, you already recognize a bad ending when you see one. Banri couldn’t check the chatrooms right away due to responsibilities but now that he is free, you decided to join him since you finished your 8am chatroom already, the next one was at 12 noon. “Oh! Sweet, a story mode!” He commented. Looking over his shoulder, you immediately knew what it was.

You watch as his face goes through a bunch of emotions. Looking again at his screen, he was finally at his last chatroom. “WHAT?!” He shouted as the screen of a bad ending appears. Laughing at his frustrated face, you pat him on the back. “Don’t worry, it’s very normal to reach a bad end at Day 5, especially for busy people.” You told him.

“Well then, if you’re so high and mighty. What’s your progress then?” He asked, “Hmm, let me check the chatroom timings.” You replied and went to the net and there he saw the whole schedule of every day. “It says here 12 noon.” Waving your phone at him. “You’ve been cheating the whole time?!” He exclaimed. “Me? No, this is literally the nth time I’ve played this game and to be fair I didn’t use any of these cheats the first time I played. So it’s only fair that the same happens to you.” You explained

“Well, then Mr. You Can Do Better Than This, I wish you a pleasant day.” You pat him on the shoulder and gave him a quick kiss. Before walking off to Izumi while leaving a dumbfounded Banri.

Can I request Masumi, Azami, Taichi and Banri react to antother boy liking they S \ O?

Izumida Azami: 

Azami doesn’t feel any type of way about it. Your feelings were outside of his control so he didn’t want to sweat over it, knowing he wouldn’t ever force your hand no matter how desperately he wanted your eyes on him, he’d just have to prove he’d make a better partner. The only issue that would arise is if he sees them touching you, getting annoyed immediately about them crossing a boundary and disrespecting you in such a manner. His glare is scary enough but having someone as tall as him looming over you with a glare at the rival in question would likely send them packing, never to talk to you again.

Nanao Taichi: 

Taichi feels a little pang of jealousy at seeing you with another person, wondering if they made you happier than he did and curious if you enjoyed spending time with them more. He’s a little too scared of asking your feelings directly as the potential rejection loomed ominously over him like a dark cloud, threatening to strike him down when he least expected it. But he knows if he doesn’t take a chance he’ll truly never win your heart, deciding that he should just push forward and continue wooing you to the best of his abilities (hoping that will be enough to keep your attention on him).

Settsu Banri: 

Banri would love to see someone try to take you away from him. He might not be a ‘fighter’ anymore because he promised to be on his best behavior for the sake of Mankai but that didn’t mean he wasn’t willing to throw a punch or two at someone having the audacity to hit on you. He knew he was better than most others in every conceivable way and he’s not worried for a second, not just because of his amazing level of self-confidence but because of his implicit trust in you. He almost felt bad for the other person not realizing how little of a chance they had. 

Usui Masumi: 

Hopefully that other boy keeps those feelings to himself and never acts a fool around Masumi because he is ready to launch a full assault. Masumi is very protective over you and disliked when someone looked your way with a certain glint in their eye for too long, even if the gesture was purely friendly in nature he was very wary of what others wanted from you. Seeing someone so blatantly like someone he was enamored with just wouldn’t end well, specifically for the other person.

Homare

Holding hands with Homare is something of elegance. He will take your hand in just about any situation because he likes to know you’re there. As well as each time he reaches to hold your hand he brings it up to gently kiss before continuing with what he was doing. Many times he will take hold of your hand as he is working on his poetry. He says it helps inspire him, because his muse is so close.

“My dearest Dove, just the presence of you fills me with so much inspiration. Let me take your hand so I can feel even more. For you are my muse, you light my world up like no other.”

Sakyo

Sakyo isn’t big on hand holding at first but when he does take your hand in his you know he loves you. There’s a certain level Sakyo likes to keep other people at but when around you Sakyo is a mess. Holding your hand makes him blush though you probably won’t see it. He doesn’t do anything special but there are times when you might be in a crowd and he will take you hand just to make sure you are safe

“Take my hand, I wouldn’t want you getting lost, alright. Don’t worry I won’t let go”

Misumi

Misumi loves handholding but before he holds your hand he likes to make a triangle with you. He will take your hand to make a triangle and then hold it. After all, to him you're the most special triangle he can find. Though as cute as Misumi and his gestures are, hand holding with him will lead you on so many adventures and somehow you find yourself on the roof of Mankai company.

Chikage

Chikage isn’t keen on handholding at first, it takes him a very long time and even after he doesn’t do it often but sometimes he will link pinkies with you. It’s his way of reminding him you're there and that you do care about him. He also wants you to know that he cares about you of course if you ask him he will deny everything.

“Did I take your pinkie, you must be imagining things. Maybe you have a fever let’s take you home”

Tasuku

Tasuku doesn’t really handhold, not that he doesn’t know how or doesn’t like it, he just doesn’t really do it but when you want to hold his hand he takes it. When he holds it he might squeeze your hand lightly just so you know he loves you. He might seem a bit cold but he’s a softie and that’s his way of telling you that you're special.

“Thanks for coming to the soccer game with me, do you want to maybe go get something to eat.”

Tsuzuru

Tsuzuru is a mess, hold his hand and he will become more of a mess. He’s going to worry and wonder if he’s doing it right. As well as be completely red anytime you take his hand. He loves holding you hand but what it does for his heart isn’t good but don’t worry he will still take you hand

“No don’t worry Y/N I’m alright, me no, this is how I normally act.” (He says as he pours coffee into a bowl after letting go of your hand)

Kazunari

Hand holding with Kazunari is an adventure. He takes every chance he can get to take pictures to post on the blam. He also holds your hand as often as he can. He says it’s just because “your tots adorbs” but really it’s because he’s a bit afraid of losing you and it helps him know you're still there.

“Come on babes, let’s take another picture, everyone’s going to be so jelly.”

Itaru

Itaru doesn’t mind hand holding but he doesn’t want it to interrupt his gaming. So hand holding is only when you guys are out and about, maybe when walking but as soon as he pulls out his phone you have to let go, but there are sometimes where he will link his arm in yours. He does love you rest assured but he also needs to rank.

“Dam, lost my battle, well at least I got you here. Want to go grab a snack”

Juza

Juza is a bit standoff-ish when hand holding. He’s worried he might hurt you, that maybe his grip will be too tight. It will take him a bit to take your hand. Though when he does he doesn’t want to let go. He loves the feeling of another person's warmth. It makes him feel so loved, and safe that someone trusts him enough to hold his hand.

“I saw a new bakery opening, maybe you want to go?”

Banri

Banri will take your hand just to make you blush, he will kiss the top of it, pull you closer and kiss you while holding your hand. He loves seeing you blush so that he can tease you. Deep down though he’s happy someone wants to hold his hands. As much as he teases seeing you happy makes him feel all warm but of course he’s going to tease you more because he feels this way.

“Looks like someone is a bit embarrassed, come on my sugar kiss. Don’t get too flustered I’m only holding your hand”

Guy

Guys a bit unsure on the concept of hand holding. When he does it’s more like he’s doing it to just lead you but soon he understands it can also be a romantic gesture. He’s a bit formal in his ways but he knows holding hands makes you happy so he does his best. Even researching the art of hand holding.

Is this seriously happening right now? The cold, snob but talented Settsu Banri is confessing to me?!

He always gave me a hard time and teased me when he had the chance. It all started in the midterms. It was his first time attending class because he always skips. I always wondered why he's not pulled down a grade but they say it's because he's super smart and aces all the tests. But I think that's not a reason to slack off.

I heard rumors about him and I thought, "I don't want to get involved with him since he's a troublemaker." But immediately after that, they made me talk to him about thr classes and quizzes he missed because the class president is not present.

I was really hesitant but I thought, "If I don't do it, how will he keep up with his studies? Maybe he skips school for a reason and I should help him out." So I mustered up the courage and approached him.

He must've noticed me going towards him because he puts his foot forward and tripped me. My butt hurt and others were laughing. He offered me his hands and I tried ti grab it but he withdraws it and I fell again.

"Seriously, how clumsy and dumb can you get? Hahaha!"

I didn't care about my classmates laugh because it was trivial. I was pissed odf but I sat down at the chair in front of him and explained anyway.

"I can still achieve perfect scores without attending boring classes."

"I see."

Ever since then, he would continuously bother me. Like ruffling my hair into a giant mess, showing off his scores, eating my lunch and many more.

He stared at me. There he goes again. everytime I look his way, his staring at me. He must be killing me in his head.

I thought I was getting used to him but I was wrong.

It's Valentine's Day. I made chocolates for my friends and the actor that I adored. I asked Settsu to give it to Sakuma-san.

He looked annoyed.

"Ha? Why should I?" He was taller than me and he tried to look more intimidating but I was used to it.

"Please, Settsu? I'm his fan but I'm too shy to give it. And besides you're in the same company anyways. Please?"

"Fine." He took the chocolates.

"Thank y---What are you doing?!"

He threw it in the floor. It broke into pieces and had dirt all over it. But I worked so hard for it.

"O-Oi. Don't cry." He tried to touch my face but I slapped his hand away.

"You had no right to do that!"

While looking apologetic, he was still an asshole. "What do you like about Sakuya anyway?!"

"Because he's passionate at acting, kind and earnest unlike you, arrogant jerk!" I ended up saying while crying.

I ran away after that. I tried to be patient with him. But there's only so much I can take.

I was going home after that when Settsu blocked my way. I ignored him but he keeps stopping me.

"Wait! I have something to say."

I sighed. Should I listen to him? Just thinking about what he did earlier made me in the verge of tears.

I looked up at him while the street lamp shined down on us. He looked soft and a little apologetic. He pursed his lips and furrowed his eyebrows. He'll apologize, right? He should because I won't talk to him again if---

"I like you."

W-what? That was unexpected.... Is he joking around?

"I like you. That's why I tried to get your attention, stared holes at you and bothered you. Sometimes, I try to be kind and flirt but you're just so dense."

I blushed beet red. Me? I'm dense?

My eyes widened. It all clicked together. Why he would randomly put the strand of my hair behind my ear when I'm studying or why he suddenly has a lot of my favorite juice box and gives it to me or why he invited me to come to his shows.

He just looked down at me with those unwavering eyes. How could I not realize?

His face is too close. I can feel his breath and see his eyes looking in my lips. He drew closer so I put a hand defensively in his lips. He laughed a little.

I put down my hand when he withdrew. "Fine. I'll apologize. I'm sorry for ruining your chocolates. But you should understand. What was I supposed to feel when the girl I like gives chocolates to another guy?"

He had a point. But that doesn't excuse his behaviour. Atleast he apologized but I should scold him.

"You still shouldn't--" He kissed me.

Just when I let my guard down! He just have that stupid smirk plastered in his face while I look like a tomato.

"Be my girlfriend." He smoothly said.

Just an hour ago, he made me cry and now I'm blushing in front of him.

"I don't wanna. You're mean to me." I said jokingly.

He pouted. "No, I'm not! Just a little bit sometimes...."

I laughed. His smirk came back.

Banri x S/O General Dating Headcanons

Banri is exactly the type of boy your parents and friends would warn you about.

He’s what some people would call a triple threat. He has the brains, the looks, and the skills, and one glance is enough to just know he could be bad news.

However, contrary to that first look -maybe second or fourth according to others- Banri is… well, normal.

Maybe even soft.

Because sure, he loves to endlessly poke fun at you and flirts more often than not.

But he’s also the one who mindlessly puts you on the inside part of the road when you two are walking and glances lazily to see if you have your jacket on when it’s gotten cold.

It’s the small gestures like those that let you know he cares, given that heart to heart talks aren’t really his forte yet -you can’t help but think being with everyone in Mankai has been a blessing in so many ways-.

So yeah, this guy will tease you, but he’s also preeeetty whipped for you.

Which means he doesn’t really care what others think. If he wants to kiss you he will, though he’s most likely to do it when you two are alone or when you show up during autumn troupe rehearshals because let’s be honest, Taichi and Azami do have the best reactions.

Aside from theatre and games, Banri is still quite lazy, so you better like to explore and try new things on your dates just as much as your usual coffee date ones.

Sometimes you two will also have study dates... though not a lot of studying goes on.

I like to think that Banri enjoys ruffling your hair when you do a good job quite often. It doesn't matter if you tell him to stop or frown at him, he will do it next time anyway.

Though he's not especially affectionate physically, he tends to put his weight on you and sling his arm around your shoulders a lot. If you are visiting the dorm, his eyes also follow you around, not that I think he himself notices.

Given the case, most people would think he’s overprotective or jealous, but Banri is pretty chill about the whole dating thing and being together full time. You gonna meet with some friends? Enjoy yourself. Too tired or busy to come to one of his plays? He’ll tell you if anything special happened, no rush.

He hears someone made you uncomfortable however and you might want to hold onto him because his hands like to get to the point quicker than his mouth.

If we talk about the downsides of the relationship, just like I believe he somehow manages to remember many small details about you, he also tends to forget mundane things like meeting with you somewhere if he has other things on his mind or is busy.

His arrogance also rises from time to time, which might cloud his vision if you two are having a discussion -probably making things escalate rather quickly due to his own lack of filter or not being used to admitting he’s wrong.

Muku low-key thinks you two do the best version of enemies to lovers he's ever seen. You two keep roasting each other any chance you get.

Putting those moments aside however, I do think Banri has matured since his beginnings and in general you two can pretty much talk about anything.

If there’s anything troubling you Banri will for suuuure know before you say anything to him. I believe he will wait or in any case will be subtle, waiting for a moment with you alone to nonchalantly ask if you have anything on your mind lately.

I think he’s a really good listener and probably will do his best to be there for you, even if it’s to just listen to you venting though I do think he will feel extremely over-challenged if you were to cry.

" -hey come on, I can steal some sweets from Hyodo if ya want somethin’ to eat somethin' real quick? My pleasure really."

On the other hand, it's not easy to have him open to you, and you soon find out that showing anything else other than perfection for him is the same as thinking he's lame.

I believe as much as he might want to, it reeeeeally would take a long time until he confides you his trouble. By that I mean his real troubles. What to do in the future, his work as a troupe leader or what's expected from him in general.

Because part of Banri still finds it strange to have someone that loves all of him. And while he's too prideful to say something cheesy, maybe you get the idea.
