Hanging out at a mall or cool shopping center- I never got to do this as a kid, so I'm super glad I can now <3

Writing fanfic! I like to try to make mine as "cringe" as possible, just because it's fun. Write all the weird self-insert stuff you want, it's a blast

On the topic of writing: keeping a roleplay journal. (not as weird as it sounds, I swear) I have a sparkly notebook that I journal in about a make-believe middle school I go to. There's drama, you make pretend school notes, plus obv more OCs... it's something that really helps me get into the headspace and relax. Don't knock it till you try it!

I loved LWL I thought I wouldn’t like it because I hate reboots since most of the time (*cough* Powerpuff girls 2016 *cough* or *cough* Velma *cough*) would ruin the original aka the classics. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually good! Us Canadians can do a reboot properly! There was funny moments with the kids & teens, Dasey pretty much acting like they are married, Casey’s husband not cockblocking and not being a third wheel because they wrote him like he’s a terrible husband (hopefully they get a divorce if they make the tv series), Molly being a K-pop fan and wishing Skyler was her sister (writers knew what they were doing) and seeing the old actors like the parents & Sam (Nora looks amazing! She hasn’t even changed!)

I’m hoping they get a Tv show because the movie wasn’t horrible and I’m glad they made the movie first to see if us old fans would be happy and not ruin Dasey and they did the reboot Justice. With a tv show we can get more Dasey scenes and pretty much them having a blended family 😂 plus seeing the cousins interact and Skyler adjusting to a normal school setting, plus the cousins remind me of Lizzie & Edwin dynamic and they probably would get into mischief together with occasional fights but I’m happy they don’t have a romance vibe and seem 100% platonic. Plus the old cast can guest star in some episodes obviously if they want to, so we can see what their characters are up to. They have so many things they could do with the show and seeing Casey getting a divorce.

I know people wish there was more Dasey scenes but it was a movie and they have to introduce 5 new characters and see their dynamic to see if we like them or if it becomes a tv show to see if everyone fits well because old characters can come back in a tv show like Icarly or Raven’s home which had characters from the original tv show making guest appearances or being a character that comes on often. Heck even 90’s show some old characters make a guest star appearance and it 100% makes the episode better and then nostalgia moment.

Güvercin, Nhung Hoang, Naomi Bechert (social media team during s5 – s6, writer of s7 and s8) Moderated by Aidan Riebensahm Aidan: This might confirm an image that we have of Gen Z. That you are very motivated to get involved and to take part in creating these roles. This seems to fit into the cliché that Gen Z is always very active and participating in everything. Also you are the first generation that grew up with the internet since your childhood. How has this influenced your work on Druck or generally how did you experience growing up with the internet? Eren: I think it shows in the fact that it’s a transmedial concept and even in the script you can see what will be posted and what won´t. And that its always connected with the dramaturgy and the storyline. That is interesting to experience. On the shooting days we are also creating the content for Instagram. I grew up with Instagram and facebook. I always used the facebook account of my mum to play animal farm. I don´t remember the name….farm world? (laughs) This was my first experience with social media. I also used to have multiple IG accounts. One of them (laughs) is still public but I don´t have the password anymore. It`s a bit embarrassing. Nhungi: Please don´t try to find it. Eren: All the stalkers now “making typing sounds” (laughs). That was my first experience with IG and when I first heard of the series and came in for filming, I did not exactly know what to expect. I also did not watch Druck before. Sorry btw if I appear a bit sick. I am a little hoarse. (laughs nervously) Uhm… so I came in and had no idea how storytelling would look like if you connect it with social media and additionally real time. What if we film something in summer now and when its released its raining? What happens then? Those were question I was asking myself but then I learned while shooting that its actually a lot of fun. Nhungi: Especially the social media aspect was a concept that did not exist in Germany before and accordingly it was still a little unclear in the beginning. Like, ok what is being recorded and what is going to be posted/published? We ourselves had improvised everything of the social media content. It was like “ok they go to the park and have fun.” But we improvised our lines and what everyone was doing. A lot of very funny situations happened this way but you also felt “ok this is something completely new” and you don´t really know how to handle it. And there was also the aspect that many people saw Kieu My and Isi as real people and we were even addressed on the street as Isi and Kieu My. Which is not a problem overall…- Eren: it was a little weird. (laughs) Nhungi: … yeah but then I was asked where my girlfriend Fatou is and then I was a bit like aaahhh oops. But otherwise I found it very interesting because our generation is on the internet a lot and tries out a lot and therefore its important for Druck to be sharing important things through these channels. The first time I ever experienced something like like this was with iCarly. Its was a TV-series but at the same time you could access a website and for example could chat with the characters. And this was kind of developed further with Druck. You were able to see almost everything of the characters, even private chats. And it was possible that certain topics, like climate change for Mailin, which had no room in the other characters POVs in the series, could be shared via social media. Eren: It`s maybe also important to say that we have no access to the IG accounts. Its social media managers… - Naomi: me for example. Eren: …Naomi for example. Naomi: I was able to see all dms. (laughs) Aidan: tell us more. Naomi: uhm many love declarations to Josh. Very cute. And generally, many questions “how are you right now, Nora? Is everything ok?”. So there was this assumption that is was a real person or the question “is this real or is this just acting?”. So it became clear that this world was experienced as an authentic world and the fans are very emotionally invested when the characters are going through a crises. This is an effect of the real time concept and that the clips are released one by one. So only about 5 minute long clips are posted and then there is silence for a few days and you have to wait for the next clip. That was intense and interesting to see. Some also shared personal stories and we tried to react to this in a appropriate way. So if there was a call for help for example also in the youtube comments, there was always a big care-aspect for the community management.

I’m a 23 year old college student who is majoring in History. I’m kind of a huge nerd, I love subjects like History (duh), Literature, Politics, Philosophy, Psychology, Religion, but also Comedy (i find fascinating to analyze it, even if that kinda defeats the purpose, sue me). I kinda only watch sitcoms, actually, maybe because of how obsessed I am with the genre (more on that later).

Being Brazilian I may reblog/talk about Brazillian issues/stuff and most definetely will reblog things about Turma da Mônica (brazil’s most beloved comic book series that shaped the childhood’s of at least 3 generations now since the 60s/70s), my longest autistic special interest. Oh, yeah, I’m also neurodivergent, AuDHD and also have persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia gang rise up! or dont, ik its hard and tiresome) and fibromyalgia.

Another special interest I’m unhinged about is The Sims, I use Tumblr mostly bc of it, so I’ll definitely reblog stuff about it, maybe if everythings works out I will even create a side simblr, who knows. I love historic/fantasy gameplay, would be cool to share with people.

Idk if its a SI or just regular cat owner thing, but I’m definitely obsessed with these little guys. Speaking of cat lover, I love Taylor Swift. Like, I’m very casual about most music I consume, but she is the exception, I just... feel SO MUCH with her songs. Idk, idk... She also makes me feel things on a sapphic way, though I’m no g*ylor or hetl*r (rlly dont care about who she dates, just here for the art). But not in a wow I wanna bang this celebrity I have a crush on, cuz I dont wanna bang no one, cuz I’m acearo. Just, dont swing that way (or any way, really /hj cuz i'm actually gray-bi-romantic but its very rare, so i'm usually not swinging at all lmao).

I really like to read, but it has been tough to keep the habit with depression and disabled adult life knocking at my door and kicking my ass... currently I’m finishing reading all Jane Austen’s work (i love her sense of humor and analyses of human psychology) in portuguese, but I plan to eventually read the original stuff in english. I just really love stories and storytelling as an art form, maybe that’s why I love to write. I’m obsessed with fanfictions, actually, been writing since I was 11, never anything in english, but who knows, actually creating and participating in tumblr may be the first step. I mostly write about tv shows I’m obsessed about (though I did write some Turma da Mônica Jovem fanfiction...... thank god I deleted, it was terrible, tho in my defense I was still a preteen) and I mostly watch sitcoms so.... About that...

My favorite sitcom ever is probably How I Met Your Mother (it was literally what i needed when i was going through a really rough patch) and BoJack Horseman (yes, cartoon sitcoms totally count, shut up). I’d say my first sitcom love was The Simpsons, my biodad had a lot of dvds and tapes from the golden seasons and the fondest memories of my childhood were us watching together and laughing like two idiots. My first fandom was iCarly (i was a preteen okay), but I wasnt a big fan of the revival/reboot (yes I was team seddie, no it has nothing to do with it, I gave it a shot, but just didnt vibe with it). I also love The Office, That 70′s Show, Never Have I Ever, Community, Our Flag Means Death, The Sex Lifes of College Girls, One Day at a Time and The Good Place.

I’m pretty sure the only other shows that I got obsessed with that weren’t sitcoms were Once Upon a Time and Lucifer, two shows that were quite humorous with its wacky premises (fairytales in real life???? the devil taking a vacation in LA??? i mean, c’mon!!). I’m loving the Percy Jackson disney adaptation, it was my favorite YA book series and it always bummed me that the movie adaptation was so terrible, I'm glad we finally have a great adaptation and can't wait for more seasons to come!!!

I’m very talkative (you dont say?? 😮 /s) and a total extroverted that really loves to make friends, but my communication difficulties really do shine on long distance conversation... be phone calls, video calls, emails, text messages etc... So, although I’d love if you shoot me a message, bc I love to make friends, I also am not the best texter, so dont expect someone who always immediately answers you right back cuz they are online — please dont take it personal, it has nothing to do with who is messaging me and everything to do with my disability mkay? And yes, I am trying to work this shit out in therapy, but you know... growth aint linear. When shit hits the fan, the first thing that I lose is the ability to answer text messages 😭 idk i just stare at them, they stare at me, i combust and die, the end.

Amazon boosts Freevee content catalog and is the latest company to lean into ad-supported video streaming content popularity

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter recently, Amazon is moving 100 TV series and movies from its Prime Video SVOD service to its FAST video streaming service called "Amazon Freevee," including Wheel of Time, Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, Modern Love and Reacher.

In doing so, it is the latest company that is leaning into the increasing popularity of FAST "Free ad-supported television" video streaming services. Earlier this month, Deadline reported on Paramount Global's decision to offer full seasons of popular shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, iCarly and Mike Judge’s Beavis & But-Head on their FAST platform Pluto TV in the month before their new seasons premiere on Paramount+.

This can be seen as a wider shift towards ad-supported content. FAST streaming services had a penetration rate of 58% in 2022 (p. 7) in the United States, which is up 18% from its penetration rate in 2020. And this growth is expected to continue; S&P Global Market Intelligence projects that the FAST business in the United States will grow from the 4 billion USD range in 2022 to almost 9 billion USD by 2026.

However, the growth of the FAST business also points to a wider trend that can be observed in our current media landscape. In the past few months, Disney and Netflix have each introduced ad-supported tiers in addition to the ad-free subscription options on their respective video streaming services as well. When put together, we can spot a clear shift towards ad-supported content, of which the expansion of the Amazon Freevee content catalog is merely the most recent example.

Indeed, a Statista study from 2022 that looked into the share of the population that prefers low cost streaming versus high cost streaming without ads across 15 countries showed that a higher share preferred low cost streaming with ads than without ads in every single one of those 15 countries. So it seems ad-supported content is here to stay.

She's half Brazilian half Chinese, but he looks more like her mother (that is brazilian) she moved to NY with her mother after she divorced from Serena's father. Serena is kinda shy mainly because she didn't had the chance to actually learn how to speak English properly so she's 24/7 apologizing for her English, like "hello sorry for bad English"

She can looks kinda distant when you first met her, but she's just nervous that you'll make fun of her, so she stays quiet until she's 100% sure she can trust you

Serena acts a little like those girls from teen movies from the 2000's like Regina George (from Mean Girls) but it's not like she's a bad person, she's just really into those teen movies so she tries to be more like the cool girls, if you're friends with her she'll stars talking about Hanna Montana or iCarly and will recommend series like Pretty Little Liars or make you watch High School Musical. If she really likes you she'll ask you if you want to watch Pixar movies with her. Her favorites include Rio, Toy Story and Luca

She's reluctant to share her likes because she doesn't want to be seen as a joke or a "child" so she can starts pretending she likes the same things that the person she's talking to

Like "oh do you like Teen Wolf? Me too!" (She hates Teen Wolf) so she needs people to reassure her that she's not pathetic. If she doesn't like someone, she can't treat anyone badly so she just fake a smile and act like popular teen girls pretending they liked your hair but in her mind she thinks you look like shit, but she would never say things like that loudly. But if he hates someone (which is rare) she'll either just ignore the person or starts being passive aggressive, but when the person goes away Serena feels bad for her behavior and considers apologizing to them

Serena is easily a crybaby, it's too easy making her cry, everything can make serena cry, movies, books, series, a tv commercial, the way someone acts with her or the way someone talks to her. She's trying to be less dramatic but if someone acts differently with her she'll starts wondering if she did or said something wrong, and that makes her cry

She's also super kind and funny and tries her best to make everyone around her feel happy and loved, sometimes she'll bake cookies for her friends or simply compliments the little things about them, like their smile or the way they laugh. Serena is an artist, she loves drawing and knitting stuff, sometimes she can knits hats or plushies for her or her friends, she can't see a white wall without painting it all, so she's always expressing her feelings with art, when she's sad or happy she'll stars drawing or knitting

I already said it, but her favorite color is pink, her entire room is pink! Almost all her clothes are pink and it's easy to give Serena a gift, if it's pink she'll love it. Actually she loves every gift she receives. She always forgets people's birthdays (and her own) so she asks about their birthdays all the time so she doesn't forget.

She plays the piano and guitar, but she's really shy about it, but if she likes someone very much she'll play a song for them. She has 20k followers on tiktok and instagram so she's always with her cellphone in hands, try taking it from her and she'll be mad at you. She's kinda of a cellphone and coca cola addicted so it's hard seeing her without her phone and a coke can in hands

Sometimes she feels sad because she misses her old home and her family she left behind, so when she's sad she won't feel like talking to people, because when she's feeling down she'll act rude with others

She loves sharing her childhood memories with his significant other, she'll show them a pic of her when she was a child and tell stories that happened to her, obviously she's super happy when them shows to be interested in her and her country
