– Я не нашёл его, — шумно выдохнул Барри, буквально залетая в С.Т.А.Р. Лабс, опускаясь на стул и снимая маску, – как вообще я должен был его найти, если то, что вы соулмейты может быть понятно только при прикосновении друг к другу? — взмахнул рукой парень, который несколько часов носился по городу и всё оказалось без толку.

Только в этот момент он посмотрел на своих друзей и младшую Снарт. На них не было лиц, потому что они все были очень-очень бледны.

– Что? — мгновенно напрягся герой, — что случилось?

– Ему всё хуже, Барри, — всхлипнула Лиза, – если соулмейт действительно не найдётся, то Ленни может…

Она не договорила, потому что начала задыхаться, когда попыталась выдавить слово «умереть». Циско обнял девушку, поглаживая её по волосам, а потом тихонько шепнул:

– Всё будет хорошо, он обязательно найдётся…

Постепенно Глайдер притихла, только плечи ещё подрагивали.

– Он не пришёл в себя? — помрачнел Флэш.

– Нет, — покачала головой Кейтлин, пока все остальные наблюдали, как костюм супергероя появился на манекене, а Барри оказался переодет в серую футболку, толстовку с надписью «С.Т.А.Р. Лабс» и джинсы.

Команда прошла к койке Снарта, чтобы следить за его состоянием. Он то задыхался, то снова мог дышать нормально, но Сноу опасалась, что мужчина всё-таки задохнётся.

Внезапно Леонард опять начал метаться по кровати и шептать в бреду: «Не трогай Лизу… Нет… Нет… Пожалуйста…».

Его сестра тихо взвыла и уткнулась лицом в футболку Рамона.

Почти не раздумывая, Барри коснулся руки Снарта, чтобы хоть как-то показать ему, что тот не один, что рядом кто-то есть и поддерживает его, а затем в изумлении уставился на светящиеся ладони. На их светящиеся ладони, чёрт побери!

Парень услышал, как друг шепнул возлюбленной «посмотри…», поэтому перевёл взгляд на таких же шокированных друзей и Лизу, ошарашенную, но счастливую.

– Барри… — выдохнула она, – ты можешь его спасти… пожалуйста, помоги ему… — умоляюще глядя на парня протянула девушка, складывая руки в молитвенном жесте.

Аллен взглянул на Кейтлин, которая закивала, улыбаясь. Обнимающий её сзади Ронни вопросительно приподнял бровь, мол, «чего ты медлишь?». Джо просто пожал плечами, Айрис с лукавой улыбкой кивнула головой, а Эдди склонил голову к плечу, соглашаясь со своей невестой.

Действительно, почему же он медлил? Они оказались соулмейтами — это решительно не желало укладываться в голове, — он мог помочь Снарту очнуться.

Барри даже подумать не мог, что это будет именно так, что они окажутся родственными душами и вселенная подшутит над ними таким образом, но всё же снова взял своего соулмейта за руку и сосредоточился, закрывая глаза.

Сначала по венам парня распространился лютый холод, а затем Флэш почувствовал приятное покалывающее тепло где-то в кончиках пальцев. Он отдал самому себе чёткую команду: «помочь Леонарду Снарту моему соулмейту очнуться от кошмара и забрать его боль».

Кейтлин решила, что Аллену нужен стул, чтобы он сидел, а не стоял, Ронни принёс его и поставил рядом с койкой, на которой лежал Снарт.

Благодарно кивнув Огненному Шторму, Барри присел на стул, не отпуская руки Леонарда.

Прошло уже несколько часов, команда Флэша уже разошлась по домам, потому что на дворе был поздний вечер, а Снарт так и не пришёл в себя, хотя дышать стал равномерно и уже не задыхался почти. «Почти» — потому что Барри приходилось отходить от него ненадолго по естественным нуждам, и всегда, когда Аллен приходил обратно, он первым делом слышал глухие хрипы. Барри очень переживал по поводу того, что старший Снарт до сих пор не очнулся, но старался не отчаиваться, до последнего верил в лучшее, ведь если они соулмейты, то он сможет ему помочь, он должен ему помочь.

Флэш не спал почти всю ночь, но ближе к рассвету парень задремал, не выпуская руки мужчины из своей. В полудрёме ему показалось, что Капитан Холод напрягся и зашевелился, а затем Бартоломью проснулся.

Earth 2-Barry Allen x Male!reader headcanons

*I'm currently doing a rewatch of the arrowverse and got to the earth 2 episodes and earth 2 Barry was so adorable I just had to write something for him. Anyways here's a quick recap for earth 2 for anyone who's forgotten because I surely did; Barry is still a forensic scientist, Iris is a detective, Joe is a lounge singer, Caitlin, Ronnie and Cisco are all evil metas and I brought Eddie back just for fun since Barry is with reader

● you're a new detective who fell for the adorable nerdy forensic scientist Barry Allen of earth 2

● when you originally asked him out on a date he thought you were just messing with him cause everyone at the station knew he liked you

● but why would the handsome detective (who was also his best friend Iris' partner) want to go out with him?

● Iris assured him that you really did like him and that date eventually led to you guys getting married 3 years later

● every morning before work you make breakfast while he makes the coffee

● it's a nice peaceful moment to start your day and spend quality time with Barry

● you also help him pick out a bowtie that matches whatever sweater and vest he's wearing that day

● double dates out with Iris and Eddie to see Joe sing at Jitterbugs

● as well as having dinner once a week with his parents

● you hear the "so when are we getting grandkids" question all the time

● "soon mom, soon"

● he's so pure and never swears

● he only says "what the heck" or "dang it" or "fudge"

● it makes you laugh at how sweet it is

● watching sci fi shows with Barry and not knowing anything that's going on

● he tries to explain to you all the sciency stuff behind it which still doesn't make any sense but he gets so excited and is so cute doing so you happily listen to him

● being impressed by your husband every time he creates new tech to help in your hunt for Killer Frost, Deathstorm, Reverb and other metas

● Barry keeps tracks of every meta you have put away and all of your other achievements to brag about how great of a detective you are

● one time you and Iris faced off against Killer Frost and Deathstorm and she nearly froze you to death

● Barry never left your bedside in the months you were recovering

● "Barry stop worrying I'm okay"

● "you're the love of my life Y/N I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you"

● "well it's a good thing you don't have to find out"

● when you get approved to go back to work Barry and Iris throw you a big welcome back party

● Barry is super romantic

● he plans something big for every anniversary from the anniversary of the day you met to your first date/first kiss and even the day you proposed

● you don't know how but he manages to get reservations at the most exclusive restaurants in Central city

● Iris "so what did you and Barry get up to over the weekend?"

● "Barry surprised me with dinner at that fancy French place downtown"

● "how?? Eddie and I have been trying to get a reservation there for months but they are booked until next year"

● even though you've been together for years Barry is still so nervous in the bedroom like it's the first time

● he's clumsy and always knocking things over, you've had to replace so many lamps in your home

● he gets embarrassed by how his body reacts to you and still apologizes for moaning too loudly or bucking his hips uncontrollably

● which you always have to reassure him that it's okay for him to enjoy what's happening and that you love how turned on he gets

● especially when you are role-playing and pretending to arrest him

● or when he sees you in your gym clothes after a work out

● he really can't help staring at your biceps it's his weakness

● when earth 1 Barry shows up to fight zoom he is shocked to find out you two are married (as you are Joe's partner on his earth that he's been crushing on) after you take him to an empty hallway at the station to make out when he was pretending to be your Barry

● your Barry finds out and is not happy about it, "he got frisky with my husband?? I have to find this guy and give him a piece of my mind"

● "you're so cute when you're jealous"

● Cisco "I've been trying to get my Barry to ask you out Y/N for so long now I have proof that you guys would be adorable together"

● Barry "maybe we are just meant to be on every earth"

SO GLAD YOU ASKED SO OKAY

crisis on infinite earths, right? right. So everything up to the death of the multiverse, canon to the AU, BUT ALSO. once the multiverse is rebirthed, thats where my shit starts. everything is different, everyone is closer (emotionally, anyway). those who died pre-crisis are suddenly resurrected in 2020, having still technically died in this timelime but jsut being, yknow, abruptly back, INCLUDING OLIVER. doppelgangers like Black Siren are running around without that meaning the sacrifice of their counterparts. only some characters remember the previous timeline(s), but everyone knows that this is not the original multiverse.

In my AU, Oliver saw all the lost and pain and loneliness the heroes have been forced to endure, and also saw the pining and repressed feels they had for their friends. So, he, all Spectre like, decided to give the heroes a little extra comfort in their lives, a little more love.... thus, the polycule!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT STARTS. With Caitlin and Ronnie, because Caity is my fave and it's my fucking AU. Caitlin and Ronnie were a privately polyamorous couple, and when they met Cisco at STAR Labs, Ronnie and him became quick boyfriends and Cisco eventually became Caitlin's queerplatonic partner. They remain that even when Ronnie dies and they become Barry's coma caretakers. Iris becomes their friend during that time, and eventually their girlfriend, bringing Eddie into the polycule shortly after. Barry wakes up, they try to hide their relationships from him but, yknow, he catches Iris and Eddie together and also Caity spills the beans when she's drunk off her ass, so he knows now.

And he tries to deny his own feelings to himself, and tries to force himself to get over Iris--- it does not work! It's not until Barry meets Kara that he accepts that he wants in on the whole polyam thing, and while venting to Kara, he basically introduces her to the concept of polyamory. Kara's still going through the James/Lucy/She love triangle when they meet, you rememeber, and finally Kara has an answer to her problem: her own polycule!!!

(the Kara/James thing still goes down like it did canonically, with her ultimately rejecting him, but her date with Lucy goes well and they become girlfriends, with James remaining Lucy's boyfriend)

Anyway, after Barry comes back from Kara's, obviously, it's Zoom shit going down, Caitlin gets kidnapped, so, yknow, i think during that whole ordeal would cause Barry to wait to confess his feelings, BUT. he does get with Cisco and Iris before season 3. and obvi, there's no Flashpoint on Earth-Prime, so Barry doesn't pull that bullshit! yay!

Now, Flash s2 takes place during Arrow s4, with Darhk. It's Laurel's death season, which still happens (sorry Laurel i love u), but its also a real magic-heavy season. So, Oliver is forced to lean on his impossible friends for help defeating the impossible.

Basically Oliver, Barry, Iris and Felicity have one of those "didnt know they were dating" type dynamics where all four get real close, real quick, and get confused for who is dating who so much that it becomes something of an inside joke until, oopsie, these whores caught feelings, and yknow how good Felicity is at hiding her crushes!!!! So, all the s4 Olicity angst still goes, but there's four of them in it now, and eventually, they get spiritually married (officiated by John, just like in Crisis On Earth-X) as a polyamorous quad.

ALSO, Barry and Kara get together during Duet!

"Is he always that sexy, or is this a new thing?", you asked, causing the rest of team Flash to stare at you.

You were talking about Harrison Wells, the newer, bitchier one from Earth-2 and he had just left out, mad about something probably.

New to team flash, everyone was still getting used to your bluntness, and your inability to bite your tongue.

When everyone just stares at you with your mouth dropped, you finally break the silence, "What? He's cute."

"He looks like the man who killed Ronnie, Eddie, and Barry's mother. Plus he's like, at least twice your age.", Caitlin responds, her face scrunched up like she can't believe what you're saying.

"Well first off, he didn't do any of that because he's a different version of Wells, and second, I have the tendency to be attracted to older men because of the lack of love and attention I got from my own father as a child, but thank you so much for bringing up my daddy issues.", you laugh at the look on her face, kind of feeling bad about bringing up the awkward situation with you and your abusive dad.

Barry clears his throat, trying to get off that subject, "Y/N and Harry are two adults, and if they'd like two date, who are we to-"

"Woah woah woah, all I did was call the guy cute, I'm not tryna date him.", you cut him off, unaware of how it got that far.

"Yeah well still, you're grown, do what you want.", Iris says, flashing her signature smile.

You wink back at her, before turning back to the team, "Umm, you guys wouldn't happen to know, where he is or anything would you?", you say with a sheepish smile.

"He's in my lab", Cisco says and he barely has time to finish as you walk out of the door.

"Hey! Don't fuck in my lab!", he calls after you, regretting telling you where Harry was.

When you make it to Cisco's lab, you walk in on Harry throwing something around. The usual.

"Something got you upset?", you call out making him jump slightly.

"Oh! Y/N, hello. Yes, it's this equation but I'm fine."

"Yes you are.", you mutter under your breath, causing Harry to turn around.

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing.", you respond in a sing-song voice.

He turns back towards the dry erase board, focused and unbothered by your presence.

You pretend to be interested in the stuff on Cisco's desks, making your way up to the older man.

When you grow quiet, he assumes that you've left the room, but when he turns around to check, you're right there in his face.

"Hi."

His eyebrows raise at the close proximity, but he doesn't back away, "...hi"

"I'm gonna come right out and say it", you start, raising one of your arms to wrap around his neck, the other following shortly, "I think you're sexy, Harry."

His eyebrows raise at your forwardness, looking at the arms that are wrapped around his neck and then back at you.

"Thank you?"

There's a beat of silence as you wait for him to return the compliment but when he doesn't, you pull your arms away asking, "What about me?

"What about you?"

Scoffing slightly, you say "Don't you think I'm pretty?"

He thinks it over, "I've had more important things on my mind if I'm honest," you can't help but feel offended, "but now that you bring it up, you are quite attractive."

You smile at his confession, knowing that's the closest thing you'll get to a compliment from him.

Unbeknownst to you, the team has been watching the entire interaction through the cameras.

“Ten bucks says Y/N traps him in less than a week.”, Iris says and Cisco immediately objects.

“Harry’s far too oblivious to date anyone.”

“Well lucky for him, the most forward person we know happens to be interested in him.”
