I find annoying how in shows/movies there are straight couples that share certain scenes and people are like "Awww cute", "They look so good together" and "OMG They are a perfect couple" but if two boys/two girls share the same scene or a scene that definitely shows how much they care about each other, if you ship those two boys/two girls people are like "They are just brothers/sisters", "They are very good friends", "They don't see each other romantically".

I mean, if you insist that much in two boys/two girls having a platonic relationship with those kind of scenes then you can accept that a girl and a boy also share only a friendship having the same scenes 🤷

As much as Season 9 isn't exactly perfect, I think there's something quite special about Barry's first appearance being on Arrow and Oliver's last appearance being on The Flash, alongside how the Arrowverse started with Oliver's first story and will come to an end with Barry's last.

Oliver always viewed Barry as his successor, as the one who would go beyond him, and Barry mirrored this by always recognizing in Oliver the hero that came before. Throughout several crossovers, be it Crisis, Elseworlds, or even the very first one, they've always focused on the dynamic between Barry and Oliver and it was always incredible, some of the best stuff in the Arrowverse is just Barry and Oliver's relationship, and to see it pay off, now even in a way that is out of the tv universe, is just beautiful to me.

They are just Brothers by each other's side.
