I find annoying how in shows/movies there are straight couples that share certain scenes and people are like "Awww cute", "They look so good together" and "OMG They are a perfect couple" but if two boys/two girls share the same scene or a scene that definitely shows how much they care about each other, if you ship those two boys/two girls people are like "They are just brothers/sisters", "They are very good friends", "They don't see each other romantically".

I mean, if you insist that much in two boys/two girls having a platonic relationship with those kind of scenes then you can accept that a girl and a boy also share only a friendship having the same scenes 🤷

If i had a nickel for every show starring a character(s) of colour who were powerful, badass and well written; but are constantly shit on to prop up the white "morally grey" characters who have rushed and/or contradictory development up to and including their ships; I'd have three nickels.

so stydia was never a thing til s6, were stiles is missing for the entire season, they have like almost no interactions, they force them together and try to paint their non existent connection as the strongest one and they have a ugly kiss to be endgame. it’s hilarious when you think about it. they didn’t have the time to be canon. they were just made endgame to end the show, and then you find out they broke up over a dream lmfaoo that’s so pathetic. if i were a stydia i would have kept that shit to myself at this point bc it’s embarrassing as fuck.

Jeff Davis had the nerves to talk like this about Sterek and Derek’s feeling…

“the complicated feelings are that Derek had great feelings toward Stiles but Stiles also caused a lot of trouble in his life. Every great relationship has those complications.”

Wtf is he talking about??? Stiles never cause any trouble in Derek’s life. He always tried to help him. Stiles was his anchor in 3B when Kate was after him.

The only thing that makes sense is if Derek feelings were complicated due to the age differences especially when you think about the age differences with Derek and Kate. And look how that relationship panned out… then when Stiles becomes an adult he moves to DC and Derek ends up a single dad moving back to beacon hills. Things get complicated…

Jeff is clearly pandering to Sterek without being explicit because he’s an asshole and wants to keep his options open. So he made Sterek one sided, in hope Dylan returns for the sequel. Knowing Jeff, Stiles will have “complicated feelings” for Derek but settle down with Lydi@.

I like Sterek I've read a lot of fanfiction and feel like I don't need to watch the show because personally, I find the whole nerd chasing after the popular girl until she finally says yes even though Lydia turned him down repeatedly is so overdone & boring; and I know from watching videos that Holland Roden & Tyler H supported Sterek & still do so I can't see them keeping Derek "dead" if a sequel ever happens since Peter Hale already came back from the dead, and it's funny that shitty movie ending revived the Sterek fandom specifically and they overtook Johnlock's number 2 spot sorry for the rant.
