every single piece of graffiti (of course excluding the mean stuff) is one big, (or little) “i was here”.

every human who drew a slap sticker, made a design, sprayed a tag existed. i mean it goes back to the beginning of human life- it isn’t some “young people these days” type thing- cave drawings and spray paint are exactly the same and i find it so beautiful.

that-it’s inherent, in human nature to remind people in years to come that “i was here”, however they can.

And he hung around, making jokes and talking strategy until he was like “ooh, a burger” and got his noms on until he was brought back up

When a TPK looked imminent, he told Matt it was okay. He knew they could move on, even from that. He was a calm and comforting presence at the table.

when Sam pulled the hail mary, he was the only one not yelling, crying, or both. He, in the moment, let his appreciation for the big move and the killer story beat shine through.

Travis did a hellova job last night, and it was easy to see why he captains the ship, and he’s someone i strive to be like as a player, a gm, and a friend

thinking about how marcille thinks that her feelings for falin are parental while the audience can see the attraction that she either cant see or doesnt want to see

how when marcille starts this matching scene its like a mother bathing her child, right up until falin rises over her and grasps her hand, to which marcille is very suddenly confronted with a cocktail of complicated feelings, attraction, fear, shock, confusion. this isnt just a horny scene guys Look at marcilles face, her eyes, the black background on their clasped hands. how marcille doesnt blush until the interaction is over, then slips right back into the comfortable dynamic of calling falin cute and small and inviting her into her bed

this is how marcille sees their dynamic. parental, caretaking. safe.

is it that kui genuinely meant it like this and we as an audience found a different interpretation? is it that marcille is dense to her own feelings, misinterpreting protectiveness for parenting? is it that marcille doesnt Want to understand her own feelings? is it that shes an elf, and elves generally infantilize shorter lived races? is it a conscious or subconscious method of self protection, denying herself the fact that shes in love with someone who wont even make it past her own young adulthood?

I feel like with Stede's optimism and Ed's heartbreak in the trailer, it's easy to forget how Stede didn't just leave Ed at the docks. He was awoken and led away at gunpoint by a man who fully intended to execute him. If Chauncey Badminton hadn't tripped and shot himself dead in front of Stede, he would be dead. It was pure luck that he lived and Chauncey died. Stede was traumatized, terrified and filled with so much renewed self-doubt. If that hadn't happened I am sure, even with his fears, Stede would have met Ed at the dock.

I hope that in S2 Stede (notoriously bad at talking things through) actually tells Ed about what happened that night, in full. I really hope Ed listens and acknowledges that yes actually, that would have been terrifying to go through and actually, the shock could easily make anyone make poor decisions. I want to see the fear/ anger flash in Ed's eyes at the revelation that Stede was nearly murdered that night. That context as to why Stede left in such an abrupt way is so so important.
