Person A is a god of prophecy living life as a human and runs a talk show where they bring up what-if scenarios which sound crazy but will come true within a decade or so and discusses the scenarios with specialists - some who agree and some who argue with them about their theories about the future being impossible. Person B is someone who has gotten fairly famous on the internet and openly claims Person A’s what-if scenarios are too obvious and predictable. Person A, curious and competitive and loving to make people who doubt them look stupid down the line, invites Person B to their show. But upon meeting Person B, Person A realizes Person B also has the gift of prophecy but is completely unaware that they do. Person B has lived their whole life not realizing that no one else can see the future as clearly as they can and just thinks everyone is pretending to not know rather than really not knowing.

Ok, so imagine if the reader had a twin but the prophecy shows one will lead the downfall of the creator and teyvat and the other is the true creator who will lead to the forever peaceful reign of teyvat

but the Genshin characters have a test— one of them is a ruthless imposter pretending to be the creator and it’s your own flesh and blood.

the prophecy shows you were both born one had the powers of destruction and one of creation and at the eclipse will be when teyvat makes its choice the person who doesn’t get chosen disappears forever, left to waste.

the person who get chosen, well twin will inherit both powers to save teyvat or destroy it.

and all the differing versions

with the imposters blonde hair and emerald eyes they trick everyone with their cute appearance no one noticing shy you with black hair

imagine all the possibilities what if you were from the real world, what if both of you appeared with amnesia, what if you were destruction!??

literally so many different ways you can interpret this! If you want to use this au no need for credit just add me to the taglist!

note: I’m going to start using this idea soon vor hcs and fanfics! I would like to explore this concept

Sealed by Design AU

Feeling as if they may lack a purpose in life, Character A visits a psychic (Character B) -- if they can tell Character A what the future was, maybe they’d have more direction? More want to succeed? Just...more?

Just like the old adage says, though, be careful what you wish for.

Character B gazes down at their separate practices on the table: palm reading, osteomancy, tarot cards...to confirm their suspicions, they even dig in their storage to perform forbidden anthropomancy. When they look back up at a horrified Character A, they struggle to find the right words. 

“You...I’m sorry, I don’t know how to tell you this. You’re going to have to die to save the world. Not now, but at some point. I have to warn you, not because I want you to die or anything, but if I’m right...if you choose to live, everything will end.”

Almost to seal the prophecy, a crack of thunder echoed through the small shop that wasn’t heard by anyone beyond its walls.

I’ve found that I see other people differently now.. They seem to appear as metaphors for what they perceive themselves as.
