Can we stop masculinizing trans headcanons for cats who in AU’s become the new father for a litter like Mothwing being the Three’s father with Leafpool as the mom? I still see to this day people using Mothwing in ways that feel almost transphobic or fetishy by making her super ripped and huge compared to Leafpool or making her like she’s a knight coming to the rescue because she’s trans or people focusing a bit TOO MUCH on the fact she’s their “real dad”. It feels like people are using us trans people as “oh actually, they can still be a lesbian ship see they can still have kittens together see” and it feels weird.

This is the style i use most often when drawing incorrect quotes by @warriors-as-shit-ive-said. Let’s use leafpool as an example!

First draw your sketch! make sure you choose a textured brush to achieve that crayon drawing look! Don’t forget shape language :)

Next make the final outline, but put the body outline and the eye outline on separate layers.

Next pick your colors and fill your character in! Make sure the colors are on different layers to make future steps easier

Next step. Scribble over your color palette in white and lower the opacity of the white as much or little as you want. I lowered it to 30%

after that fill in your character again!

After that, combine the eye outline & body outline, as well as the original and pastel color palletes.

After that duplicate your outlines at least once and then merge.

Next scribble over the drawing (any color). Make sure you keep drawing in one direction.

Clean it up by erasing the any of the scribble that goes outside the outline.

Next, put your original color layer over the scribble layer and select the clipping mask for the color layer.

Make sure the pastel color layer is toggled on and move it below the scribble layer!

Done!

Gotta agree with the Mothwing take. This is my two cents on that:

Even if StarClan sucks balls, talking to StarClan and receiving signs IS part of the medicine cat job. And if a medicine cat doesn’t believe in StarClan and can’t receive signs or prophecies, especially if the Clan is in peril, is DANGEROUS.

What if Spottedleaf was never able to receive the fire alone prophecy? Would Bluestar have still taken Rusty in? Which she did because she saw him on the fence one day in the epilogue of Bluestar’s Prophecy and thought he looked like fire LIKE THE PROPHECY?

What if Frostpaw (even if she isn’t an official medicine cat since Curlfeather forced her into it) wasn’t able to communicate with Riverstar? What if Leafpool wasn’t able to find the Moonpool because she couldn’t hear the voice of her ancestors? Or Moth Flight with the Moonstone?

Yeah. Sorry, but even if I like Mothwing, it was rather selfish of her to be occupying a position where literally the job includes talking to StarClan and she remains an atheist. Her being unable to train Willowpaw in that and leaving it to Leafpool was also kinda shitty.

And I know later she acknowledges they exist just doesn��t have faith in their words but it’s a bit too late for that? She still doesn’t receive signs or messages. Also my memory may be foggy but in Po3 also Mothwing wasn’t able to receive the messages from Mudfur, Willowpaw had to for her. Something about the water being poisoned I think idk it has been a while since I read.
