When & how did Lamb & Nari start to fall for each other in the Red District AU?

It's not easy to put a pin on exact moment when they started to fall for each other, but I can tell when things started to get heated.

It was not long before Leshy was eliminated. Leshy's goons has found and raided Narinder's apartment. He knew about this though, so when they arrived, he was already gone.

(yes, I drew this comic before I drew the plan of Lambert's apartment, his bed is different, I was too lazy to change it, bite me <3)

Having no other options (he didn't want to endanger the twins by hanging around them) so he went to Lambert .

Not for long, only until he finds a new broom closet to stay in, away from the public eye. Lambert's flat wasn't big either, barely big enough to fit him, let alone a big cat that is Narinder, so they had to share the small futon couch Lambert had. Narinder made himself feel at home very quickly though and it's not like Lambert could just kick him out (mostly because he was still scared of Narinder). So they became roomies for a few days.

That was an oportunity for Lamb to see Narinder more as a person rather than this evil caricature he had in his head. He learned about his daily routine and behaviour, and it made Lambert feel more comfortable around Nari and setting up some boundaries. Not to mention all the silly and embarrassing incidents they shared at that time.

After a few weeks Lambert caught Nari doing push ups in the middle of the night. He said that he can't sleep so Lambert offered him something to drink, but he refused. Instead they decided to watch a movie together. Lambert had the laptop on his lap and Nari had to cuddle Lambert for a better view (sending him into a gay panic). Both enjoyed it more than they're willing to admit. Nari would tease Lambert about it for a while.

After Narinder found a good enough place to stay and left, it became quite empty in Lambert's apartment. He didn't realise before just how lonely Lambert was since the night they met. Narinder's place also felt kinda empty, but he didn't dwell on it too much.

I have some ideas about the personality of the lamb in my as of now unnamed au that I've sorta slapped together after looking at a couple different people's lambs

I do like the silliness that some have, and I certainly think mine would be the same, but it would only be well after narinders arrival. Most of the time they're quite mature and benevolent, seen as a motherly sort of figure (like this one painting that depicts death as this kind lady in white robes)

I think the lamb would only allow themselves to slip into that more genuine, silly/less serious side of them once narinder joins cause he definitely would get pissed at being treated the same as the common rabble.

My lambs about 24 mentally and in terms of looks (NOT conveyed well in my art, you can tell I had a chibi phase that I never truly escaped) if that helps to visualize them.

I'm rambling a bit. I'm not a writer so it's hard to get my thoughts to be clear on paper. Narinder and lamby are friends by the time the story begins and the lamb has been trying to move away from cult leader to town leader to eventually just a god that the lands worship. They like the cult well enough they just don't wanna do that forever and their actual ages is in the 500s by the time we begin so they've been at it a while
