24 hours in a day, 168 in a week, 8760 in a year, 692,040 in a lifetime( on average) Time is one thing we can’t get back, can’t earn more of, can’t buy. Yet it runs away sometimes at rate of knotts. How many hours of that 692,040 have you already wasted? Used up worrying about the overflowing washing pile, the dust on the mantlepiece, the toys strewn over the living room? November 25, 2019 Somehow we make it through the hard times and life changes and we are able to cope. Today if life seems stressful and worry is visiting you just know that you will make it through life’s storms. The weather in life may be unpredictable now but hang in there today. Things have a way of changing and when we have hit rock bottom there is only one way to go and that is up! Today could bring unpredictable energy to us and we may want to just throw the towel in but wait and be patient. There is heavy energy now and it could seem overwhelming. Be strong and don’t give up. As we reflect on the past in our life we could be sad and maybe the place where we are now we aren’t happy. This is not easy energy now. Be kind to yourself. Sometimes when we try to control situations too much we end up frustrated and depressed. Whatever life is handing you now just take it and try to make the best of it. Life change is never easy and many of us are going through changes that are major in life. You are not alone. There is change all around us now. Loss of power is happening for some. Loss of health for others. If you are going through loss now you are not alone. Life has a way of forcing us to change. Things happen to us for a reason to take us on a new path that we need to go. Is there anything better than a brew made on the fire? This week I’m going with the theme of nature. Looking through my feed there seems to be quite a lot nature featured. Did you know even looking at scenes of nature can decrease stress levels and improve wellbeing. My go to tip for myself and others for dealing with feelings of overwhelm is go outside with a brew and just breath. Simple when you think about it. Allowing ourselves a moment to breath every now and again is hugely beneficial and even more so when we can take that breath outside in nature. Can you take a moment to breath today? We see the phrase it’s ok to not be ok thrown around all the time. But what if you are tired of feeling, not being not ok? I hear you. In fact I felt it too. I was so utterly miserable in the feeling of being not ok. Admitting I wasn’t ok didn’t magically make me feel better. I tried everything, hypnotherapy, cbt, talking therapy, medication, and more. Truth is nothing on its own worked. And even if the panic attacks calmed down I still had that anxiety that was like an elephant on my chest most days. You know when you wake up and feel like there is something not quite right? I know you do. It’s ok. It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I’ve been able to truly feel like I can deal with those feelings when I’m the come. Which isn’t as often now. It wasn’t until recently that I’ve been able to have those feelings from time to time and be ok with letting myself ride through them. When you find your clarity in life, untangle those ideas, to do lists & thoughts that live in your mind then you feel some of those symptoms disperse. I’m not saying that you can click your fingers or do a brain dump and instantly be “ok” but putting a little bit of time in investing in you really can have an impact.
