Sometimes you just have to let go and let God. Now that doesn’t mean you’re giving up. It just means that there are some things in life that you cannot control. And the reason they’re out of your control is because they aren’t meant for you to.🙅🏽‍♀️ Focus on the things you can control. The things that are meant for you. Today @josephwalker3 preached about letting things go! The movie @theshackmovie is one of my favorites of all time. One scene brought Mack to a messy garden that represented the mess in his life. He asked Sarayu (Holy Spirit) “Why would you create bad things like weeds and poison. She responds by explaining that humans choose a path of independence and ignore the truth that everything God created is working together. Poison, when blended with nectar creates amazing healing properties. In other words, humans limit good and evil to their personal experiences. However, our limited understanding doesn’t change the truth about God. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the message in The Shack was to let go and let God. Leaning on your own experiences isn’t always right, it’s just easier for the moment, and creates confusion and disappointment long term. Day 3: It still hurts, especially after watching an action movie, listening to podcasts about how to get over someone you love and talking to permanent people. I can't bring myself to eat, I don't want to go out. I remember everything and how i regretted everything - I have stoop so low on my standards for him yet he can't say he loves me after more than 3 years of being in a relationship.
