In the "Apropos Of Absolutely Nothing" dep't, Recipe Quality Control division...

We have a stack of the below clamp-top storage jars in the kitchen window where we can get at them in a hurry while cooking. Mostly they contain dried fruits or herbs, but some of them are wet preserves of various kinds.

@petermorwood glanced at the pile of jars the other day and started getting one of those thoughtful expressions that spouses everywhere know and dread. "What's in those?" he said. "And is that mold, or something else? You should check."

(Noting with amusement the "You" in "You should check", with the strong implication that he sure as hell wasn't going anywhere near them, lest on opening the contents should, I don't know, leap at his throat or something. Chickennnnnnn...!) 😆

...Anyway. The answer to "what's in those" is "honey-candied apples", from this recipe.

And having just opened the mankiest-looking of the jars, and had one of the apple slices, I can tell you that they are just fine. OMG. (Unfortunately due to my IBS I can't eat many of them. But oh boy are these good.) ...What Peter was seeing was some of the dried-out Demerara sugar associated with the final stages of the candying process, which could possibly be mistaken for mold. From a distance. If you squint. 😏

Also adding here that I'm going to have to revise the estimate of these things' keeping power upwards a bit. The date on the post tells me that this recipe was cooked and photographed in 2022, so "these will keep for at least a couple of months" seems to have understated the case slightly. Which is just fine, as the whole point of them was to render apples shelf-storage friendly in a culture that doesn't have much in the way of casual refrigeration.

So that's all right.

(BTW, for those interested: the handwarmer mug seen in the shot comes from Castle Arch Pottery in Kilkenny city, where we also got some of the dishware we use in food photography for the Food and Cooking of the Middle Kingdoms website/cookbook project. ...The mug's a right-handed one. I don't know if they make a lefty model, but I imagine they could. I should really inquire. It holds a shade more than 500ml / 17 fluid ounces, so if you like a good big mug of tea or coffee, this is for you. And it really does warm the hands nicely in a chilly room...)

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

SPOILERS FOR NEW MARVEL STUFF! ⚠️

Finally got around to watching The Marvels on Disney +!!!!! It’s the best mcu film this phase istg omg it’s SO GOOD and immediately you can tell it was written by a woman NOT TO MWNTION THE INSANE END CREDIT SCENES WTFFFFF KATE BISHOP PIZZA THE DOG AND XMEN?!?!??!!!!!!! Omg I’m ecstatic this is the best marvel film in years it’s finally giving avengers early phase vibes! And I’m actually happy with every single plot moment! Unlike no way home where there were many questionable plot moments and bad scenes and bad cgi and multiverse of madness was something different entirely like I loved the horror and stuff and it made sense but as a whole that works with the rest of the marvel universe I didn’t like how it went and wandas “death” or “fake death” and the whole x men stuff. Loved America in that tho! Her whole moment made sense and ugh I can’t explain it properly plus the shitshow that was the She Hulk series and overall it just made me lose faith in marvel and that’s why I didn’t see The marvels in cinema like I usually do bc guardians of the galaxy 3 was so shite and I thought this would too maybe that’s why it flopped cuz the hype on past films wasn’t lived up to. But this FINALLY brings back early marvel vibes and I’m so into it. (Plus the reign of the cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈😆)

Cuz as much as I liked NWH there were questionable parts yk, Dr Strange characterised Wanda badly from start to finish and didn’t do her justice, Wakanda Forever was amazing don’t get me wrong I really loved it and cried A LOT, but I wasn’t too keen on the whole Namor thing or unnecessary deaths, and some characters really just deserved better than what they got, like Okoye.. and Black Widow was great but it could’ve been a bit better with cgi and plot-wise like the deleted scenes should’ve been kept and so on.

For the first time I just really enjoyed every part of this film, since marvel has gone downhill lately, this is new for me. also I loved the queer undertones for Kamala and Carol, although they should’ve been braver and put it in explicitly if they wanted to show Carol and Valkyrie together instead of the kiss on the cheek and no talk of them being together. But headed in the right direction for sure and not to mention the Kate and Kamala scene? Female avengers team? Finally not outnumbered by men? Also I really ship Kate and Yelena so I hope she comes onto the team too, though she might just stick with the Thunderbolts antihero theme. I love that it’s so clearly written by women and directed by them plus the brilliant casting and having the villain also be a woman and with a realistic villainisation like I get why she turned out the way she did, she just wanted her home back for her people, also it’s Zawe Ashton, Tom Hiddlestons wife so it would be cool to see them act together perhaps, but either way brilliant casting and script and everything, I love Kamala really speaking for the fans in a lot of it, and the musical scene was fun in a mystical way, like when we first got introduced to Asgard way back when, I just wish we saw what happened there at least a small look in at the end with Carol checking in on them because they left in the middle of a battle and then we don’t find out what happened to that planet. But other than that small detail the film was fantastic and I loved how even Goose got a good storyline.

(My dreamteam avengers would be Bucky🦾, Yelena🕷️, Kate🏹, Carol💫, Kamala👊, Monica🌠, Shuri🐾, Riri 🛠️(ironheart), America⭐️ and Cassie 🐜 and Morgan Stark. Plus some xmen if that’s now an option?? And AOS team but marvel would never do that

my ao3 is osaka_lilac, however i only only have an art piece i did for last year's f1 big bang, and a art piece plus an unbetaed, 1k-ish galex oneshot fic i wrote for last year's f1 hallmark fest. i do have many recommended bookmarks there in lieu of my own creations that i would highly recommend you check out. i'm very inspired by all the amazing work that happens here and i want to share it as much as i can.

HOWEVER. i did overlook the maybe Huge age gap that would have to take place for lance to be still in school. so uhhh maybe he's like one of those graduate folks who go back after their first go-around. or maybe he's interning or maybe!!!! he's working with his father in the team, and has finally found a reason to stay working with him - through Fernando. however, i can imagine that gap being similar, possibly a bit younger on fernando's end, just for dynamics sake.

I mean, this isn't that surprising to me Anon.

There are a lot of fans who weren't even old enough to watch Tobey's spidey films in theaters when they came out (like 20 YEARS ago lol), and even with Andrew's films, maybe some fans of Spiderman today had never seen his films in the theater before. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Tom's spidey films are still pretty new, and most of us have already seen them in the theaters.

Nostalgia rules supreme. And I'm sure, if 20 years from now they decide to re-release Tom's spidey films to theaters, I'm sure they box office numbers will look different too! 😉

Plus, is it even fair to really compare box office results now when Tom's films haven't all come out for SpiderMonday yet?? 🤔 That doesn't seem fair to me. Let all of his films come out first, and THEN let's compare the box office numbers.

I've been to all of the Spider🕷Mondays so far, and now that I've watched them back to back with various audiences, here has been my observation:

Tobey - His films were sad, more somber, but had great words of wisdom and "teachable moments", and there's a certain nostalgia that comes from those of us who remember him as the "first Spiderman". I find that people also laughed at a lot more scenes than I thought they would.... prob due to nostalgia lol 😆 Fans clapped at the end of SM2. I miss seeing spidey swinging through the city. 😢

Andrew - His films were also a bit dark, and somewhat somber, but I LOVED Andrew as Spiderman (not so much Peter Parker 😩). However, the AUDIENCE?? Omg, Andrew actually got more cheers from our audience! 😲 I was shocked! I know they cheered like 3x while watching TASM. They cheered more for Andrew than Tobey imo. TASM2 kinda sucked lol 😆 We won't even go into that one lol 😆 But yea, overall, I had no idea people really liked Andrew like that as Spiderman. Loved his spidey swinging shots through the city! They were glorious. I wish that they would bring that Tom's new franchise.

Tom - I have only seen HOCO last night, so I haven't been through Tom's whole trilogy yet, but so far.... His films felt lighter, they were funnier, and the audience laughed more. It wasn't as "deep" as the others, but it was def more lighthearted, which is fine. 😊 We'd already seen the hard, sad stories lol. I liked that Tom's films seemed way faster moving. Sometimes, Tobey and Andrew's films seemed to drag on... which... is fine if you're watching it for the first or second time. But when you're watching it for like the hundredth time lol.... it's a bit much lol. 😅 Nobody clapped at the end, but maybe it's because the film is newer and everyone has already seen it. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I feel like NWH will get claps at the end though. 😊

With Great Power Comes Great Christmas Lights

There were few things Peter would ever outwardly disagree with Tony about, but when it came to Christmas he would never back down.

As a hyper teenager who had the festive excitement level of a 5 year old, Peter was insistent that Christmas celebrations (and decorations) could begin on November 1st (AKA once Halloween ends).

Tony was less than impressed when he woke up the morning after the Halloween party with a throbbing headache, flashing Christmas lights, and obnoxiously loud Mariah Carey songs.

And so the pair had come to an agreement, that Peter could decorate as much as he wanted on the morning of December 1st - past sunrise specifically (Tony had been woken at 2am one too many times by the whirring motors of giant blow-up Santas).

Which brings us to the cheery morning today.

Being spiderman definitely had its perks - light hanging being one of them. There was something even more joyful about swinging round the compound absolutely decking the halls with the most colorful string lights that the world had to offer.

There was Michael Bublé singing in his earphones, festive red white and green colors on his jumper, and an already empty gingerbread iced latte cup nestled in the pocket of his sweatpants. The day was already perfect as Peter swung without a care in the world.

That was until one of his webs didn't quite latch onto it's target, and sent the young hero hurtling down from the ceiling.

Thankfully he had practically crafted a net with the amount of Christmas lights he had laid around the place, which he managed to land himself in the middle of. While initially grateful for the soft landing, he quickly realized he was absolutely stuck - wrapped tightly in wire with LED lights prodding uncomfortably into his body. He had fallen upside down, one arm trapped behind his head and the other essentially tethered to his waist.

With each wriggle of indignant frustration, Peter became more and more tangled in the Christmas lights. His legs were the only part of him that could truly move, and even then it was more of a helpless flair in the air above him. He let out an audible huff, defeatedly releasing the tension in his muscles he was using to escape. As he felt himself relax, the wires began to slowly rotate his body at a comical pace.

And to make matters worse, right when Peter's back faced the door, it opened.

"What happened here Queens?"

"Shit..." Peter said under his breath.

Of course Steve would manage to finish his morning run at the exact moment that Peter was at his most humiliating moment of the day. Why wouldn't it be Captain America himself who walked in to a very un-spiderlike Spider Man sight?

Two hands pressed themselves near Peter's hips and gently spun the hero to face Cap. Well, the angle made it more of a face-to-belly interaction but it worked all the same

"Hi Mr Rogers..." Peter said sheepishly, looking up at the hero.

"Need a hand?" He offered. There was a hint of a grin in his voice, but not enough to give away just how funny he found the situation.

Peter wriggled slightly, before nodding. There was no way he would get out of here himself, and the earlier he escaped the less people would see what happened. Steve began trying to unravel wires around Peter's shoulders in the hopes that the he would slip through and fall to the floor.

As a hand fumbled around the back of his ribs where one arm was trapped, Peter couldn't help but squirm. Choked giggled spurted out of his mouth every time the Captain's fingers prodded a particularly sensitive spot.

"Hold still..." Steve grumbled, his other hand simply resting against Peter's exposed side.

But that was enough to make the kid jump and burst out in nervous anticipatory laughter.

"Come on kid!" Steve chuckled, keeping his hands exactly where they were. "I barely did anything!"

"Mr Rohohogers plehehease wait!" Peter giggled out, wriggling and trapping himself even further in the wires. "I cahahahan't!"

Steve sighed, taking a step back from the trapped hero and folding his arms in front of his chest. "Well, I have no choice..."

Peter (once he had calmed down) gave him a quizzical look.

"If you're gonna move like that-" Steve gestured to the boy, stifling a grin, "I'm gonna have to get the others to help."

"Nonononono please Mr Rogers!" Peter begged, mouth agape and cheeks turning red.

But there was no use, Steve was already moving towards the sleeping quarters.

"I'll stay still I swear!" Peter shouted after him.

"Too late!" Steve called back.

Without a moment to lose, Peter began thrashing in his bonds. Nervous giggles pouring out of his mouth as his mind took off in a thousand different directions all of which ended with him getting his shit wrecked. If he could just wriggle himself free he wouldn't have to face the embarrassment of an absolute assault of ticklish sensations from who knows how many of his favourite heroes. And yes sure he wouldn't exactly mind it, and it wouldn't be the first time it had happened, but he really didn't need them seeing a pattern of just how often he gets himself into potentially tickly scenarios.

"Well what do we have here?" An unmistakable teasy voice smirked from behind.

'Oh fuck' Peter thought to himself. Of all the people Steve could bring to help, why Bucky?? Pete was frozen, aside from the agonizingly slow spin his body was permanently maintaining. As he finally reached an angle where his head could turn enough to see who Steve had brought, his heart began to pound.

"Are you trapped, little bug?" Thor chuckled.

"How did you even manage this?" Natasha smirked amusedly.

There were FOUR OF THEM?? Surely they didn't need four people to hold and untangle him??

"Alright, here's how we'll get him out." Steve grinned, beginning to explain his plan. "Bucky and I will untangle him, Thor stay low ready to catch him, and Nat hold his feet and help our lights from the top."

With four superheroes approaching him, Peter's face broke into a skittish smile. He felt eight different hands begin to gentle maneuver different lights around his body. So far so good, no stray pokes or prods. Maybe they were actually trying to hel-

"AGH!" Peter squeaked as someone gave his side a squeeze.

"What was that Petey?" Bucky asked innocently, though Peter saw right through that façade.

"That," Steve began, "is why I need help."

"Nononono Mr Rogers plehehease!" Peter pleaded, already squirming as best he could.

"Any time I get anywhere near freeing him, he starts wiggling and laughing and I'm right back where I started." Steve sighed sarcastically. "So I need you three to hold him."

And with Thor at his neck, Nat at his feet, and the terrible tag team of Bucky and Steve at his ribs, Peter braced himself for what may be the worst tickle attack he has ever experienced.

The untangling began again, but this time Peter's nervous system was on red alert for any fingers or thumbs spending a little too long next to his body.

Nat was the first to strike.

As each strip of lights circled his body, sharp claw-like fingernails scratched against the soles of his feet. Peter squealed and jumped with each sensation, breaking into a stream of giggles when Nat's singular strokes turned to a five-finger spidering technique every so often.

"Peter!" Bucky grinned. "You have got to quit moving!"

As the last word left Bucky's mouth, a metal hand grabbed onto Peter's exposed side - fingers menacingly poking into the ribs.

"NOHO!" Peter squeaked, thrashing move violently to try and regulate the unbearably ticklish presence of Bucky's fingertips.

"You heard him Parker, stop it." Steve teased, tickling whatever ribs he could access around Peter's arm.

"WAHAHAHAHAIT!"

The task of untangling the friendly neighborhood spiderman had been quickly abandoned, and now it seemed their only mission was to tickle the poor kid to tears.

"You'd better be careful with all that squirming, you may slip and fall out!" Thor laughed. "But I am here to catch you, see? Ready."

Peter could barely catch the end of Thor's sentence, as the thunder god gently wiggled his fingertips against each side of Peter's neck. There was no escape, every time he bent his head to one shoulder Thor just moved to feather along the other one.

He was a goner. Without a single hope of survival, Peter could only pray that someone else would wake up (his screeching laughter helped with that plan) and take pity on the him.

And as Tony cleared his throat from the doorway, Peter thought his prayers had finally been answered. The tickling stopped abruptly as everyone turned to look.

"His hips are his worst spot you know."

Peter's eyes exploded into panic, and he didn't even have the chance to beg for mercy before an endless zap of ticklish electricity shocked his entire nervous system.

"NAHAHAHAHAHA!" He screeched, flailing with more power than ever before.

There were too many hands on his hips to count, not that he could focus on putting numbers together at that moment. They climbed under wires and lights alike just to reach the sensitive flesh that was now completely exposed from under his jumper and sweatpants due to his writhing.

Somehow, with a miraculous combination of Peter's wriggling and everyone else's hands unintentionally moving the Christmas lights, the young hero slipped through the cords and crumpled into Thor's arms (thanks to the god's lighting fast reflexes, otherwise the kid would have fell head first into the floor).

After giving him some breathing space, Tony moved closer to help Peter to his feet.

"I think we're done here, Steve?" Bucky grinned, elbowing his best friend.

"Yeah, while that was pretty cute, I'm going back to bed." Nat half-smiled half-grumbled.

There was a chorus of agreeing noises and nodding heads as the rest of the crew headed back to their rooms, leaving Peter and Tony alone.

"So what exactly am I looking at here kid?" The billionaire gestured to the decorated room, wrapping an arm around the boy and squeezing his side.

Peter yelped, and let out an embarrassed laugh.

"Merry Christmas?"

I was thinking about writing a fic about this but I think I'm still a little out of it so I'd rather just discuss it as a concept

I feel like stark!reader would just be so used to being waited on by literally everyone in her entire life. I mean, no surprise there, she's constantly around people who are twice her age so the avengers really dote on her and she's also incredibly rich so she's never had to lift a finger her entire life.

when she begins dating peter, she isn't really the stereotypical "mom" friend. like not as nurturing and warm and apple pies and fresh cookies type, uk? She's more of a 'omg my precious baby boy pete looks like he hasn't slept in ages? darling come lie down here while i book a flight to bali because you need some tlc'

she's always been on the receiving end of endless care from numerous people so she KNOWS how to take care of other people even though it might not be as "warm" as one might expect

kind of radiates rich wine aunt energy

so when she sees a bunch of spiders who all kind of remind her of her precious boyfriend, she's like okay must protect all of them

peter is a little threatened with how much she ends up liking ben but she insists that it's because ben reminds her of her dad

okay i just realized that ive been writing this in the 3rd pov so ill just switch to 2nd from here on out

you love taking care of the boys, fancy brunch parties where they just need to unwind, inviting them to the tower so they can have a well rested night in one of your many guest rooms because you're sure that sleeping on those dorm beds must be hurting their backs

since you're not a spider, you doesn't really get mixed up between them and stick out like a sore thumb

this really helps when they're in a middle of an argument because usually you're able to just calm things down when they're all just yelling at each others faces with absolutely no comprehension going on

(ooof just got a flashback from the 10th grade where i was yelling at my classmates because i got all worked up for an assembly and my friend starting yelling at me to stop yelling. i got humbled real fast)

i mean it isn't really too bad compared to what you have to go through back home

bucky just staring at everyone which makes the atmosphere a little more tense and you don't really know why

and why is thor even yelling? the man has no idea what even is going on right now?

and you're just sitting uncomfortably between all of them because you made the mistake of trying to get an apple juice in the middle of their argument and then you're dad asked you for your 'opinion' and every time you tried to excuse yourself he'd say 'no no sit back down we wanna hear an unbiased opinion'

so

yep

the spiders are like tiny toddlers compared to them

you've gotten pretty used to tuning them out

but every once in a while when you're already out of fucks or when they're arguing about something that's actually important or involving you

and amadeus is tap dancing on your last nerve because he's refusing to listen and reminding you of your dad to a tee when he's being obnoxious

it is during those moments they see hell right before them when you slam your hands against the table and yell 'ENOUGH'

you could here a needle drop at that point

and everyone is in their seats obediently, staring at their laps like 'yes ma'am'

peter is always amazed and like 'wow you should be mediator for our arguments'

and then immediately takes his words back when you turn to him with a glare that could kill loki permanently

I just finished A Painter’s Embrace after binging it all day and omg I loved it so much. Seeing the relationships grow between Steve and Lizzy to Bucky and Constance to Loki and Evangeline. It was wonderful and so so good. It was so unique and different. I loved the wing aspect and how they were all unique to the characters. I also loved Peter and how Lizzy and Steve cared for him. Thank you for writing this, I know I will be coming back to it in the future!

Hi, Annie! I'm so glad you're interested in the Identity Saga and I think you're gunna *LOVE* Identity Crisis — it's truly a treat, and a wild ride at that!

I'm going to be honest; it's hard to give a direct answer to your request, for a few reasons. While I know the Identity Saga is quite a long series (omg is it so long 😅) it's also a piece of fiction where every single detail matters — even the ones that seem like they won't. So it's not really possible to give a recap of the first installment, especially seeing how much Identity Crisis relies heavily on the events of what came before it. After all, while I know "sequel" is a word thrown around — and I have no problem with that — the Identity Saga is more of one very long story broken up into installments. So missing the first part will leave you missing many important details that come later, especially with the final installment about to take place.

Something to remember is that this saga was outlined and mapped out years ago in advance. 2018, to be exact — that's how long I've been holding onto this narrative. Things that don't seem to have a purpose initially all come back later on. I actually encouraged everyone to do a re-read before Identity Within starts and a few users have already started shouting at me for all the details they didn't catch in the first story. 😆 Before even starting this story I accepted the fact that it'd be a second-read-through-is-best kind of piece of fiction, which is actually a difficult thing to accept because it means also accepting the fact half or more of the readers won't "get" what the writer has laid down if they don't do that second-read through. Alas, it's worth it for my magnum opus.

All that said — a recap, unfortunately, just doesn't do it justice. Sure I can say "Okay, in Identity Theft, there's a journey that takes Tony from seeing Peter as a mentee to "like a son" and they get closer after the events of the story" but if you're not experiencing it, I'm not sure the next story will have the same impact.

You're free to do what you will with that. If skimming the story works for you, than by all means. But a lot of time went into creating each word, paragraph, and chapter of these stories. Along with effort, blood, sweat and tears (okay exaggerating on that last part, minus tears — so many frustrated tears 😅)

What's most important is you enjoy the stories the best way you can, however that may be. I'm glad to have you onboard the ride regardless of what you chose to do!

Takes my back to the first chapter when he was pining over her ahh I told you it’s so fairy tale esque when they are together like this so many scenes that I could swear are out of beauty and the beast the princess and the frog Pygmalion etc the awkward dinner sequence the basket ball sequence him and the cherry on top the prize of all prizes the one that made my hands fly to my face as I let out a happy shocked gasp the admission of love ❤️ I’m happy and know that the angst is gonna kick in but I’m going to try and live off this sugar rush as long as I can did I tell you that her confrontation with him after she finds out the coffee shop burned down and their walking around the country house are tied to be my most re read scenes in the series ?!? I love angst as much as the fluff but I appreciate the fluff so much because of I’m feeding my hunger of the scraps of happy sun lit carefree moments you gift us with I need honey to blow a hole in johns head ok!!Follower by blowing Peter I need a these violet delight esque ending for him and Fisk but especially him I’m so fascinated with the way you write Fisk his presences looms large in the story even though he’s not even an actual character yet I’m terrified of when we finally get to see him actually terrified and that is fucking amazing that you’re able to convey this . I was kind of glad we got miles I was going through withdrawals with that boy he makes me miss his presences even it was angsty as hell his presence is noted and appreciated same with Felicia

I find that the sweet parts of their relationship are the trickiest for me to write, so I’m so glad you enjoy them! Idk why the flirting doesn’t come easily when I think about it as a second character, so maybe I’m leaning heavily into Mary sue territory by writing my personality into those scenes. 😆 I don’t know why I can write complex angst and emotions but fluff…? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve also started cross posting this fic on Ao3. I don’t keep up with that account as much because I haven’t figured out the engagement magic, but it’ll be nice for readers who aren’t on tumblr to get to meet Peter and Honey.

So as there's no clear rules given here - I split it into the list of 10 characters and the list of 10 fandoms because why not:

TEN CHARACTERS - lets start with something normal...

John "Jack" Robinson (from Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries series) - for making all the most minimalistic reactions feel sooo intense with his voice, his face, his appearence and the way he can blink... He's the coolest quiet guy!❤

Amelie (from Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, 2001, dir. Jean-Pierre Jeunet) - nice, quiet girl who is not best at socialising and doesn't enjoy sex (greysexual?) yet loves to make other people happy. Doing good things without being noticed makes her feel powerful and make her feel like Zorro. I love that she eventually gets some kind of reward for all that and the kissing scene in the end is sooo very sweet❤

Pollyanna (from Pollyanna, 1913 novel written by Eleanor H. Porter) [books counts too I guess?] - for looking at the positive side of every situation, what's more to say? Best way to live your life when you're too empathetic👍

Benton Fraser (from Due South series) - a guy from other realm: elegant, polite and humble, obeying all the rules and still be the smartest and most effective police officer around. Not to mention how handsome and cute he is! (take it for ace version of "hot") and scenes like when he falls into the snow in end credits I could watch forever❤ (so bad his asexual smart-ass potential has been wasted by producers in every next season...)

Young Bilbo Baggins (from The Hobbit, or There and Back Again written by J.R.R. Tolkien) - the book character once more: the guy, who starts up as the classical loser, the smallest in the group, knowing nothing, understanding nothing and being scared of his own shadow - when given a chance proves his potential for the greatest deeds, smartest solving problems and bravest of actions💪And the talking to the dragon on the top of that, OMG!!!🤯 (sorry, but Peter Jackson version packed with CGI and unnecessary stuff for me was emotionally flat as a pancake😩)

Zorro (from Zorro, 1957 Walt Disney series) - ZORRO!!! if that's not self-explanatory I don't know what to say😂

Z (from Ant Z , 1998dir. Eric Darnell and Tim Johnson) - for: "Why does everybody have to dance the same way?"

Sherlock Holmes (from Sherlock BBC series) and Gregory House (from House M.D. series) - well it is technically the same character (like Doctor Who or like James Bond - played by multiple actors): brilliant antisocial detective no matter if he is played by Benedict Cumberbatch or Hugh Laurie. And if not for his stunning personality (you may love him, you may hate him but you can't stay indifferent) - all the undefined interactions, dialogs and puns between Sherlock and John or between Greg House and Lisa Cuddy are just pure gold❤️‍🔥

Howard Brackett (from In & Out, 1997 dir. Frank Oz) - sooo sweet, I consider him my favorite ace movie character💜💚 (the 1990's movie tells him to be "gay" but I'd say it's an obvious misrecognition and I'd need another post to tell more about that guy...😋)

Jareth the Goblin King (from Labyrinth 1986, dir. Jim Henson) - well... that's another guy that I sooo much need another post to talk about😆 Starred by David Bowie, nuff said😎

Labyrinth (1986, dir. Jim Henson) and its fancomic Girls Next Door (I love that in the fancomic Jareth gets muuuch more good time teasing and flirting Sarah!😋) - what to say? Everything is magical and fancy here but never too naive

X-men - a talent that makes you special also makes you an outcast (which is not any different from the real world actually...) Also cool looking action scenes and young Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine.

Collateral (2004, dir. Michael Mann) - I watched it for the first time in 2021 and it became my biggest obsession, hyperfixation and life perspective changing experience❤️‍🔥 (again - most definitely some other post to talk about it) But apart from my madness it's also is just a very good action movie with nice soundtrack. And ppl saying they hate Tom Cruise but loved Collateral says a lot about it!👍

Terminator 2: The Judgement Day. It's like Zorro to me - obssesed since my childhood and never get over it

Fiddler on The Roof - pure perfection

M.A.S.H. series - classic

House M.D. - apart from everything else it was also a great help during medical studies - nice thing when you can memorise weird disease symptoms with an episode😉

Toy Story - fascinating thing to watch every next movie growing up with you - from your childhood problems to middle age issues...

Matrix - hyperfixation of 13 years old me (but the first movie I choose to treat as a whole story)
