Its been a year since I've last had the energy to sit down and illustrate something complex, and while I am a little rusty im just happy to have had the time to actually finish something.
I figure that at some point the clones would have shown Ashoka how to play sabbac or one of the card games, and got this cute image in my head.

I finally found the time to start a new WIP so why not indulge in the most wholesome couple. Codywan has a vice like grip on me.

*slowly coming to the realisation that the reason I relate so much to Echo is not just because I was a rule follower with a boatload of sarcasm but because I have begun to find my place and have grown in confidence because of it which has just brought along even more sarcasm with a side order of non-malicious bitchiness*

This always stood out to me, first because it was such a snarky, funny Tech thing to say. He always makes such sassy observations. It makes us think that she is boastful and untruthful, but in retrospect, this tells us that Tech listened intently to every rendition of Phee’s story. He might have done this at first out of curiosity and because he is a collector of knowledge, aware of his surroundings even if he is glancing in solitude at his datapad. But perhaps it was because subconsciously he was simply interested by her. He was not looking for a flaw to make a snarky comment about, he was not captivated by the stories themselves, but by her and her enthusiasm for her area of expertise. And perhaps she was at Cid’s in the first place telling those stories because she had a reason to be there, Tech, and this was her version of a courtship dance, showing off her colorful feathers, like ‘Hey Brown Eyes, look at me!’ Lol, I dunno. I think they’re kind of neat though. :)
