Them as fathers

Characters: Kenma, Noya, Tsukki Gender neutral reader, it is not mentioned whether the children are adopted or biological, Kenma’s is longer than the others because i had way too many ideas for him

Kenma Kozume

First things first: I don’t think Kenma would have more than one kid, if you really wanted to have more he would relent but he is perfectly happy with just one, he thinks 3 people is the perfect number for your little family.

You may think he wouldn’t be that involved in his kids life, but that is a big misconception,

No matter how much work he has to do he makes sure to spend time with you and your kid.

Kenma would never show his child on the internet in any way, he wants to keep his private life private and keep his child safe, he knows how cruel the internet can be, no way in hell will he put his young child into that kind of situation.

Once your child learned to crawl he brought the three starters of Pokémon black and white (gen 5 best games I don’t take criticism) to see which one your child would choose.

Based on what they chose he will be sulky or proud. (I nearly made this into Oshawott propaganda but I didn’t you’re welcome). But at the end of the day he knows that they just choose one based on colours and shapes, he would teach them once they are older how to perfectly choose a starter.

Best believe that as soon as your kid is old enough to understand things he will show them all kinds of (age appropriate) video games.

You enter his gaming room with some snacks for him and you can just see him play Slime Rancher as your kid sits in his lap, eyes glued to what their father is doing.

He already has started a Stardew Valley coop farm for you three to play together one day, he is just waiting for the day your child is old enough.

Now enough video game talk, (though I have so many more ideas about this lol) your child loves it when Kenma reads to them before they sleep, his voice is very soothing to them.

Once they are asleep Kenma stays at their side a bit longer, watching them sleep a serene smile on his face.

Kenma can’t say no to your kid, he will buy them anything they want. You sometimes wonder how he can be so responsible with his money in any other situation, but your child just needs to point at something and he will buy it for them unless you intervene.

Lastly, be prepared for Kenma and your kid to team up against you. Board games? Yeah they are a team even if the game isn’t a game for teaming up. (Monopoly is a nightmare with them, Oh you need a red? Too bad your kid and Kenma are trading it between one another instead of giving it to you) But you can’t really seem to mind when you see the way Kenma and your kid smile. (Unless you are like me and are fiercely competitive in games then you may want to strike Kenma down)

Yu Nishinoya

Noya would take longer to have children with you, at least until he is done travelling, he does want kids but is aware that travelling the world with them wouldn’t be ideal, he wants them to have a stable home.

Once you two do have kids, he wants at least 2 or 3. Noya wants a big family.

I feel like he is the type of Dad that throws his kids in the air and then catches them (he won’t do it high) and it always gives you a heart attack.

Instead of reading them good night stories he always tells them (embellished) stories from when he travelled the world, for example he once exclaimed to one of your kids how a mermaid vied for your attention but he fought them heroically off.

This does bite him in the ass years down the line once your kids are teens, they will bring these stories up whenever they can to tease him.

Asahi is basically an uncle to your kids, he often visits you and brings the kids many gifts. He loves to spoil them.

And yes Asahi designs the clothes for your kids as well, it often leads to many people asking you and Noya where you got the clothes for them from since they are such a high quality.

Yes, he will teach your kids “Rolling thunder”. No you can’t stop him. Even if your kids don’t play Volleyball they will still know the move.

This leads to your kids looking for his old jersey’s from highschool, putting them on and pretending to be their dad. No he is not crying, he just got dust in his eye.

Vacations and holidays are important to Noya, while he can’t travel the world with your kids, he will take them on memorable vacations across the country when they are old enough to remember them.

He wants them to have a happy and fulfilled childhood with as many experiences as they can have.

Kei Tsukishima

When you first brought up having children with him he asked “Are you sure you can take care of a child? Don’t you wanna practise with a pet rock first?” You lightly punched him in the chest for that and he had his signature smirk on his face.

He is honestly neutral on the aspect of having kids, he is not against it but also it was never his dream of having them, so he is fine with whatever you want.

Just like Kenma he would probably only have one kid, with his Job as a Volleyballplayer and everything he isn’t home that often, so if you had more than one kid he would feel guilty leaving you home alone with them.

Tsukki is probably the first one from Karasuno to have a kid, so he is smug about the fact that he is ‘better’ than the others in that regard.

The first team reunion after you two had your child will have him holding his child proudly, while he tells all the others how slow they are for not having kids yet, which has everyone rolling their eyes. He is very proud of his kid so that he will hold it up Lion King style so everyone can admire it.

Unluckily though he miscalculated the height of the ceiling and bonked your kids head on it, which left everyone in the room in a stunned silence (True story from my infant days, my dad did this exact thing with me)

You had made him change every diaper for 2 weeks for the heart attack he gave you with that, even if your kid was fine and wasn’t hurt.

Tsukki and you switch every night who is going to read your kid, while you pick different topics every time, he only ever chooses dinosaur stories to read to your kid.

Speaking of dinosaurs, Tsukki once claimed he had to educate your kid on certain things while you went out grocery shopping, when you came back you saw that the thing he was educating your child on was “The land before time” which made you smile.

Now no matter if the child is biologically yours or adopted, it somehow interhits his sass, which means you will be surrounded by two sassy little pieces of shit (affectionate).

Though you get both of them to calm down their sass by offering them some strawberry cake if they stop, it surprisingly works better on Tsukki then on your kid, who would have thought?

tsukishima surprisingly remained calm as he made his moves during the challenge–the most surprising part of it all is that he agreed to it, but you were too preoccupied with the thought of him kissing you over anything else. a hint of a smug smirk appeared on the blonde's face as he broke off a piece of the pocky, leaving you with the final piece.

he chickened out, but that wasn't because he was scared to potentially shared a kiss with you, but rather... it was because tsukishima just wanted to tease you a little. did you really expect this boy to give you a kiss that easily? seems like you'll have to try harder next time...

nishinoya yuu — choco banana pocky.

nishinoya wouldn't ever pass up the opportunity to share a pocky with you, which translated to him as a kiss he'd share with you. he eagerly bit his end of the pocky, purposely taking big bites so he'd get the kiss from the prettiest person he's ever laid eyes on right away. he pretends to act all disappointed that the pocky was gonna get eaten up, as if he cared about the biscuit more than stealing a kiss from you.

nishinoya puckers up the minute you take the plunge and move closer to finish the treat, and chu—he finally gave you what he's been longing for all this time. he grins all cheekily, blushing hard as he can't even believe it himself that he got this opportunity. could you maybe indulge him in a second round, steal back the kiss he stole from you? not that he's complaining... he really wants to feel your lips on his again to shut him up <33

Setting Up Love: Asking Haikyuu!! Characters Out

CW: Nishinoya, Yamaguchi, Kenma, Sugawara, lots of blushing, no nsfw this time!

A/N: Been dying to write about more Kenma so ofc I had to sneak him in there

Nishinoya: If Nishinoya had a crush on you, he'd be completely delusional about it, and to make matters worse, Tanaka would only encourage him. Did you ask him what day it was in class? Yep, according to him, you're head over heels but too shy to admit it.

And despite all his bravado, he'd be utterly taken aback if you asked him out on a date. Picture red ears, stuttering words, and avoiding your gaze out of sheer nerves.

Once you're deep in conversation on your date, he'd start with the cheesiest pickup lines. If you happened to bite your lip, he'd insist on kissing it better. I wouldn't be surprised if this man proposed to you with a candy ring pop.

But when it's just the two of you, his confident façade would vanish. He'd become all whiny and desperate for your touch. Pinning him against a wall and kissing him would literally make his knees buckle.

Yamaguchi: While Yamaguchi tends to be shy around others, he can become quite chatty when you catch him alone without Tsukishima around. I have a feeling he'd be really into J-pop/K-pop, so if you share that interest, you guys would hit it off instantly.

When you started talking more, he might have assumed it was because you liked Tsukishima. But if you were to ask him on a date? Oh boy, he'd be giggling all shyly.

Of course, he'd probably suggest going to a cafe or an arcade. A cafe date would feel incredibly romantic to him—sitting across from you, sipping a warm latte, engaging in good conversation—it would make him weak in the knees.

Walking him home after and planting a kiss on his lips would catch him off guard. He'd be nervous, worried you might think he's inexperienced and tease him, so he'd try to act like he knows what he's doing.

But if you were to place a hand on his hip and deepen the kiss, he'd pull away, confessing that he likes you so much, and he’s scared that you might not like him back if he’s a bad kisser.

Hinata: Even if Hinata was head over heels for you, that poor boy can be incredibly clueless. Lost in the world of volleyball, if you suggest doing something together, he might just ask you to set for him. 🤦‍♀️

Later on, when someone finally clues him in that you were hinting at something romantic, he'd feel so bad! He'd show up at your desk with your favorite drink and candy in hand, suggesting to go downtown for some fun shopping!

When you guys do go out in public, he'd get incredibly bashful if you wanted to hold his hand. A cool, pretty person like you wanting to hold him?? He'd be over the moon. When you two lock hands or even just link pinkies, he'd feel so calm and secure, never wanting to let go.

Kenma: Kenma could be silently obsessed with you for years without saying a word. It'd be incredibly hard to read him, making it tough to decide whether to make a move.

But when you finally do, he'd give you the warmest smile that instantly erases any doubts you had. However, being shy, he'd prefer to do something at home.

He'd absolutely love baking with you! Creating silly cakes resembling Minecraft or another video game he's into would be a blast for him, and it'd be quite humorous too!

Once your creations are ready for tasting, he'd become shy if you tried to feed him. He couldn't help feeling mushy and embarrassed as he opened his lips for a bite. And if you swiped frosting off his cheek? His whole face would turn red, and he'd want to curl up into a ball.

Sugawara: Sugawara often struggles with feeling like less of a teammate for not being in the starting lineup. So, receiving special attention from someone as attractive and cool in his eyes as you would completely blow his mind.

If you were to ask him to spend quality time together? He'd plan the sweetest little picnic and nature walk. On the outside, he'd act chill and fun, but deep down, he'd be freaking out.

And if you casually complimented him? Oh boy, his face would turn as red as Tendo's hair, trying not to lose his cool. The way you praise him so casually, as if he should know how amazing he is, makes him feel incredibly special. He'd just want to be wrapped in your arms while you showered him with kisses all over.

haikyuu boys as things ive seen/done as a HS volleyball player pt. 2:

nishinoya telling a coach a your mom joke and having to sit out the scrimmage as punishment.

tanaka running laps around the gym as a late warmup and running into the net bar. (at least its cushioned?)

kenma threatening to quit everytime he has to run a back row set.

kuroo always playing a different sport. balls on the ground? he's playing soccer. putting balls into the cart? he's shooting it like a basketball. the coaches are sick of him.

iwaizumi getting a set so bad, he catches the ball and throws it at his setter.

oikawa getting a pass so bad, he catches the ball and throws it at the passer.

osamu serving into the back wall everytime. everytime. there is a dent in the wall now.

When he came to pick you one day and Kuroo saw him, or actually he said hello to Kuroo because y'know Kuroo was his senpai in school and all. Kuroo's face twitched a little but he still gave a smile and said hello.

Kuroo's hands instinctively wrapped around you and pulled you closer to him while exchanging in a meaningless conversation with your ex.

When you're both in the car, he sulks more when he finds out your ex is from the same department as you are and that you'll have to work together once in awhile.

He now leaves hickeys in subtle but noticeable places and whenever he comes to pick you and sees him, he'll hold you tighter and give you kisses right in front of him.

Somehow you can call it a man's instinct, but Kuroo warned you to not let him ever send you back home and to keep your distance other than work related things.

Of course you respected your man, because in so so so many ways your Kuroo is just much better than your ex.

one day after a company dinner, your ex was a little high, and he confessed to you, saying he never really got over you and asked you for a second chance.

"er, but i have a boyfriend now, and we broke up for a reason." you said.

He backed off a little but still offered to send you back home since it was getting late. He pestered you a little about it until a sound of a horn scared him.

Kuroo walked out from his jet black mercedes, looking all hot in just a sweat pants and a t shirt.

He pulled you into his arms and stared right at your ex. "back off from my girl, it's my last warning." his face was no longer smiling like their past encounters, and his eyes were like a fierce panther ready to attack.

Well, safe to say from then onwards, he never really bothered you much anymore.

Nishinoya Yuu

{Noya plays volleyball in a club for leisure and one day a new guy joins, and he happened to be your ex}

when you came to watch Noya play his games, you noticed someone new, and to your surprise (and horror) it was someone that you used to date back in high school.

When your ex saw you, he ran up to you to say hello, excited to see you again. But you weren't really interested since he dumped you and quickly got together with another girl.

Man even got the audacity to tell Noya that "we used to date back in high school"

but thank god Noya was pretty quick witted so he replied "oh, you're the ex that dumped her for another chick?"

But your ex was also thick skinned, so he sheepishly smiled, saying "it's all in the past!"

Noya couldn't care any less. When it came to volleyball, he focused on the ball and the game and as usual everyone is always in awe of the plays Noya made. Even as a librero, he shone.

But for your ex, he constantly came to talk to you on breaks and he even texted you after.

Initially Noya was just "oh. okay." He's just innocent and didn't think much of it.

Until you told him one day that your ex actually told you to give him a second chance. That's when Noya understood the ulterior motives this guy had.

Whenever you came to support him, Noya told you to wear his shirts or old jerseys. You always held his water bottle and towel and handed it to him during breaks and he would always give you a kiss on your forehead before running back in game.

At the end of the day, Noya would always help carry all your stuff and held your hand out of the gym.

But your ex didn't back down, still constantly texting you and trying to talk to you.

One day, during a break in the games, Noya looked at him dead panned in the eye, telling him : "oi. stop bothering y/n, she mine's and i never lose what's mine."

He just walked away, leaving your ex stunned and everyone giving the "ohhhhs" and "ahhhhs"

Noya gave a perfect defence that day. He never lost a ball that was in his area, be it a tip or a heavy spike.

Your ex left the leisure team shortly after.

Sakusa Kiyoomi

{You were Msby's assistant manager and your ex joined in as a new player for Msby's team}

When your ex saw you he greeted you, "oh hello y/n, fancy seeing you here!"

Everyone was curious of course, asking how did you guys know each other.

"We used to date after high school, just briefly!" he explained. And everyone stared at Sakusa, to which he just shrugged and went back to doing what he's doing.

Atsumu even teased his a little, "ohhhh~ someone's jealous ain't he?" earning a hard smack in the back.

Sakusa was a little more quiet than usual that day, even though his performance was still as good as ever.

Even your ex was impressed, "whoa you're good."

Sakusa was never the physically affectionate type when outside because "I'm sweaty and there are a lot of germs" but that day he held your hand after practice when you went home together.

Back home, he showered and then he was super clingy towards you. pulling you into his lap and cuddling you quietly.

Your man wasn't one with much words but you knew he wasn't too happy about meeting your ex and having to have to work with him for long term. You quietly ran your fingers through his hair.

From then whenever you had practice, you constantly showed your affection for him, cheering when he scored points and always telling him good job after practice. You would purposely ask him things like "where should we go today," or "what should we eat for dinner tonight" where you knew that your ex could hear.

You never really talked to your ex unless it was due to volleyball reasons. Giving Sakusa as much affirmation from you as he needs.

Slowly, sakusa became unbothered by him, until one day, your ex made a joke about how you changed from the past you and this wasn't how you were like when you dated.

And you could clearly see Sakusa getting annoyed. He came over and wrapped his strong arms around you, looking at your ex straight in the eye "she's perfect right now." and pulled you away.

Everyone was silent, and Atsumu gave a low whistle.

Haikyuu sleeping headcannons

I've only done a few but let me know if you want me to do any other characters. Whether it be from haikyuu or from somewhere else.

Asahi

I feel like this guy would be warm. Not like the melting you from the outside inwards but like a campfire or a fireplace. He wouldn't move if you were with him, he wouldn't dare. He'd hold you tightly but he'd be so careful. Definitely panicked the first time you guys cuddled or fell asleep together. But once he got used to it he turned into a big cuddle bear.

Daichi

To me he seems like he'd sleep like a rock. After such a tiring day with the team he'd just flop onto the bed next to you and not move, like seriously you've probably had to poke him to check he was still alive.

He'd have and arm around you or he'd be leaning on you, either way once this man is asleep it's gonna be a pain to get out. why would you want to anyways?

Hinata

We all know that he's a ray of sunshine in both optimism and energy. cuddling/sleeping with him can go one of two ways

Since he's hyperactive this could carry on into his sleep. He's definitely smacked you a few times thinking you were a volleyball in his dream. Maybe even stolen the blanket a few times. He obviously apologies if you tell him in the morning

OR. He could be all tuckered out, kinda like a sugar crash but instead of a grumpy child you get a droopy hinata (almost the same thing) coming towards you with open arms, dragging you to bed or just leaning on you right then and there if he's really exhausted. He'd definitely use you as a giant pillow and just bury his face anywhere he can. neck? no problem. chest, whether it be flat or with melons? sure he can.

Kageyama

He may not seem it with his resting bitch face but he's definitely a cuddler. He'd definitely be more like daichi, calm and barely moving, unless it was to make you mire comfortable, but let's be honest he probably dreams about volleyball just like hinata and once again...you have been mistaken for a volleyball. Prepare for a bruise.

Im leaning towards him being a big spoon but maybe if he had a bad game or practice he'd want to be comforted, but either way his arms will be around you.

Nishinoya

This man is definitely a blanket theif. Just like hinata, he's a ball of energy and moves SO much while sleeping, not only does his arms flail about but theres a few kung fu moves going on there with his legs. You've definitely woken up with bruises and a leg across your chest while he sleeps like an angel.

If there is a rare occasion where he's not moving he's clinging onto you like a koala, legs around your waist or legs, arms around your torso and head on either your stomach or chest.

Tsukishima

This salty little shit probably isn't very keen on cuddles, but just for you. He'd have an arm around you loosely, maybe even pulling you closer while he's asleep. I feel like he'd be pretty cold (not just in attitude) so he'd be a great icepack for the summer but during winter you'll have to cocoon yourself in a blanket before cuddling up to him. Once you're asleep he's probably secretly affectionate, a few soft head pats while you're completely off in dream land.

• Nishinoya would happily share all his food with you, make sure your well feed and that he doesn't keep you up late over night texting. He just wants you to get better as quickly as possible.

• The talk of blood and cycle is still a bit odd and foreign to him but he doesn't like the thought that you could literally bleed to death so he does what he can.

~ Tuskishima Kei ~

• Tuskishima is generally pretty mono toned he doesn't over display any kind of care and the sarcasm doesn't help. This is just a part of his personality. Sometimes it can cause arguments as you feel like he isn't taking you seriously and it really hurts sometimes.

• He'd realise how much your hurting and that he really messed up. You'd open up your locker and find little notes sometimes hand written letters.

• He hold your hand talking the long walk home after school, he was never good at apologising but you understood he was sorry.

• It taught him how to be a little more gentle with you, to understand you a bit better and to think before saying things to you.

• He'd slowly become a lot more affectionate, pulling you into his arms and cuddling you up in his arms. He shudder trying open up and tell you about things. What he thinks about you and the things he hopes to do with you one day.

• Tuskishima after realising how horrible both mentally and physically you feel. He always make sure there was time for you, time for him to listen.

• When your really sad he ask you over to his house introduce you to his mom one of the most kindest and beautiful being in his life other then you of course.

• You both playing a couple games together and you'd learn it actually likes reading. He loved how smart you are and how you could hold a conversation about topics that interest him.

• It helped you take time of things, you learned more about each others passions and found out you have a lot more income than you think.

• Honestly Kageyama can be a bit naive and hot headed, he struggles a lot when it comes to understanding your predicament. He can get a bit annoyed with you moods and complaining. This can cause some pretty heated fights.

• But Kageyama can be a big fat meanie, all that frustration and anger also leads to a lot of thought, overthinking, over apologising and regret. Kageyama never wants to be a bad person especially to you.

• Kageyama would take on multiple strategies on how to keep you happy always. If you mad or angry Kageyama would mind some rough play cuddles, you never manage to hurt him. If your sad he's bringing chocolate or your favourite ice cream. If you don't feel your best he'll make an effort to be more soft with you in ever way.

• Kageyama needs you a lot he wont admit it, you always manage to make him feel better and he's an over-thinker. He stresses out way to much, your his peace and he loves you for all the endless lap cuddles and hair play. He just hopes he can do the same for you.

• Tadashi gets so incredibly worried and stress about you! He would refuse to leave you empathising with how hard the week can be for you.

• He'd make sure that there is plenty of time to spend with you. Going out to cafe's in the mornings before school or bringing you some delicious food to share from bread top!

• Tadashi is a bundle of fluff, he's the guy to keep your hands warm offer his jacket and open doors for you. A very sweet gentlemen.

• He loves to play games and cuddle up on the couch with tones of blankets or watch a movie marathon. Some hot chocolate or some salty popcorn solves everything.

• You favourite thing about Tadashi was the beauty in his eyes. He wears his heart on his sleeve. You love the warmth he just radiates, he looks at you with nothing but love and softness. You can open up to him about anything and he always tries to understand.

~ Shoyo Hinata ~

• Hinata is defiantly clueless upon telling him more details. He stress like really bad, faint, dye or blow his head off. He would literally think your DIEING!! or that you were gonna DIE!!

• Hinata just over thinks being the sweet guy he is all he needs to do is say hello! He's your lil sunshine always makes you feel better with just a smiles.

• When he see's your having a really bad day he invites you over. Yourself and his little sister Natsu have grown really close. Natsu is always excited to see you! She'd play with your hair, paint your nails ect.

• Hinata's mom is super sweet she always make sure to cook up one of your many favourite meals. She gets warm and fuzzy seeing you an Hinata together.

• You often get invited out to family events, shopping, dinner, camping ect. Your all very close and Hinata is always there hyping you up the whole way.

• He pushes your bounders in a good way, making you do things you never think you could! So when that time comes around you always feel extra special not just to yourself but to Hinata too.

he's made it a habit to cuddle with you in the mornings if he has the time

sometimes he decides to be cheeky and sets his alarm earlier on purpose just so he can cuddle with you longer

He usually likes face-to-face cuddling so he can squish your cheeks or simply look at your face

There's just that certain domesticity to it that he can't get enough of

If you happen to have pets that like joining you, he'll lowkey get a little jealous that you're stroking the pet's head instead of his, playfully remarking about how you like the pet more than him

(That's your queue to pull him close)

Likes kissing your eyes, especially if you still haven't woken up yet

His heart still swells a little whenever you snuggle against him, no matter how long you've been together for

He is a very tired boy after rigorous practice and just wants to unwind and cuddle up with you

Will absolutely melt if you pet his head and play with his hair

Definitely lets out a satisfied little huff when he collapses on top of you and whines when you eventually push him off because your body is starting to hurt

He really likes it when you lay on top of him, too

He likes telling you about his day or fun things that happened during practice while cuddling

And definitely does not mind when you share yours too

(You can see him nodding off like a toddler who doesn't want to fall asleep yet when you tell him stories🥺)

He hugs a pillow, pretending that it's you when he travels for games

Always wants to be the big spoon to feel cool and manly😤

And besides, he gets to place playful little kisses on your head and nape that way

Literally falls asleep instantly if you hum a song to him

Definitely the type to tangle his legs with yours and place his head on your shoulder

Will get openly jealous of any pet you're cuddling in bed with, that's his spot, don't you know?

Loves playing with your hair, always tracing little shapes into your scalp

Definitely kisses your lips first thing in the morning, it's the best feeling in the world for him

Sometimes his nose bleeds.... yeah...
