Do you have any Gabriel salt fics? I sometimes feel like you salt more on Adrien than him

Of course I salt on Adrien. It's like adding a bit of salt to a bland dish to give it flavor because it's still worth the time and effort even if you don't particularly like it otherwise.

Gabriel is just shit. There's no point trying to add salt to make it appetizing. I've written entire essays on how much of an idiot he is. I expect nothing from this character.

But if you want to know my stories that make fun of Gabriel or call out his stupidity or horribleness...

Gabriel's Lament - where Gabriel makes the Wish and it doesn't go well for him. Plagg manages to take some revenge, however little he can get.

Take Out The Trash - Dolls AU where Gabriel tries to throw Littlebug away and she does not take kindly to this.

My-Crack-Ulous: The Movie Trailer - Just crack that pokes fun at the setup and Gabriel in general.

Papa's Day - Another Dolls AU where Gabriel sucks as a Dad and Adrien realizes he's a better one.

My-Crack-Ulous: Akumaid - More crack and Gabriel suffers.

Dolls at Play - More Dolls and more callout specifically at Gabriel.

Guardian Assistant Kevin - Where Villain Assistant Kevin takes Marinette as a client and calls out a lot of things including Hawk Moth.

Banned Movie List - More Dolls where they watch movies and get ideas.

Akuma-ed - More Dolls where Gabriel tries to akumatize the Dolls and it does not work out for him.

Oneshot where Gabriel messes with human-turned-Chaton and Adrien does NOT approve

The Hero of Paris - a one shot pointing out how stupid it was for Gabriel to transform on a TRAIN.

So yeah, a number of them are Dolls AU, but they really don't like him and he deserves it.

@littlemoon-beam Holy Dew works are amazing. (Religion kink havers go here.) and their writing is just lovely

@forlorn-crows writes some real good filth (/pos) and made me realize I absolutely needed to read porn that started with hockey violence. And also creeeeechur Rakn! Tentacles. They made tentacles hot.

@ghoulodont writes in a way that is completely different from anything else I’ve read and I’m kinda obsessed with it. It’s all very sensory? The way they describe stuff. Also blood. And knives.

@papaslittlesunshine always writes the perfect balance of fluff and smut and always so much Raindrop

@lenci8 has only written one fic but it’s gorgeous and their care in addressing gender dysphoria has my whole heart.

@sovaghoul writes an amazing series with Dew , Aether, and Rain. Again amazing and sensitive depictions of dysphoria (and hot smut) also they did this series where they wrote the ghouls as elements rather than physical forms and it’s great

Do you have fic recs for the quarry?

i haven't visited the quarry tag to actually READ in a bit, which i feel bad about, ive been super busy. but!! i have a good handful of fics that i absolutely LOVED when i was reading so I'll post them here

"Feverish" by Holo (Nelioe) - this is a good short story about what would most likely ACTUALLY happen if you cut Dylan's hand off with a rusty chainsaw but it's still very cute

"Truth or Dare 2.0" by Chipper99 - pretty much how it sounds & this author has made more than one quarry fic, i highly recommend bc we all agree we got skimped on the truth or dare scene

"in the light of dawn, who are we but reflections of our traumas?" by iamsuperbi - if you like quarry fics this is one of my FAV quarry authors, i love their stuff, definitely would check them out. ive reread this particular fic several times & it's just as good each time

"Touch Tank" by casiferfans - a sweeter Rylan piece that reads very naturally & makes me kick my feet like a six-year-old whenever i finish it :)

"Would things be easier if there was a right way?" by starlingcore - Ryan/Dylan/Kaitlyn solidarity, need I say more??

"Visiting Dylan" by houseoffandom - the gang visits Dylan in the hospital & each chapter focuses on a different duo. i love the dynamics, i love the dialogue, & if you like closure, you'll like this

"Definitely Not Lost" by MIA_MAX - uuugggggGGGHHHH this one makes me feel inhuman. other sweet Rylan piece but set right after a playthrough where Dylan turned at the scrapyard. their reunion is everything to me

"Chewing Gum" by Fire_Finnigan - short piece; Dylan has an oral fixation but it's not really sexual. as someone who as an oral fixation irl i was absolutely fascinated by this one shot & ive read it more than once. it hooks really well & the Ryan content feels very natural :)

most of them are shorter stories bc i usually have the attention span of a fruit fly & im sorry i couldn't make the links works for me or i would've linked them :(

but anyway, these are just a few of my favs & there are so so many more amazing stories being written that i haven't even seen yet so plz feel free to recommend ME fics as well! otherwise, go check out these fics, leave the authors some love bc they completely deserve it, & thank you for asking!! i hope you enjoy :)

A scene from my current obsession, Keep the Light Shining by @clyde-side !!! I seriously cannot recommend this fic enough, it’s a Gothic-flavoured Puzzleshipping romance with an absolutely perfect balance of spookiness, romance, and absurdly well-written historical interludes. I went into chapter 1 with no inkling of just how obsessed I’d get, and here I am four days into drawing rocks and lighthouses and googling lifejacket references so I could get this illustration just right 😅 ANYWAS GO READ IT!!! IT’S FUCKIN’ FANTASTIC!!!
