ideas for newly rescued living weapon whumpees?
>:D Of course
Newly Rescued Living Weapon Prompts
Caretaker failed to notice that Weapon woke from their drugging. It wasn't until they were being held against the wall by their throat that they did.
Two newly rescued living weapons are proving to be dangers to each other. Caretaker isn't strong enough to break them up shit hits the fan.
A muzzled Weapon won't allow Caretaker to remove their constraints, citing that they promise they'll be a danger.
Caretaker removes the heavy armor Weapon always wore, unveiling thickened scars lashed across their back.
Living Weapon accidentally draws Caretaker's blood. Before Caretaker can even convince them that an accident is simply that, Living Weapon takes their leave.
Screams and hollered commands woke Caretaker from a deep sleep. They immediately knew who it was coming from.
Weapon doesn't cry, peep, or really do anything as Caretaker tends to them. Caretaker is worried that in their poor healthy they're going to fall dead on them without saying a word about it.
Caretaker acted gently, tightening weapon's bandages, asking them if it hurts, cleaning old wounds. They were shocked at the tears that Weapon started to weep in silence.
Whumpee doesn't understand what's fully going on. They've assumed themselves as caretaker's new weapon, guarding them wherever they go. They're even starting to get aggressively protective.
Weapon's dangerous features (fangs, sharp tail, claws, robotic attachments, etc.) need some TLC too. Caretaker has to put their entire trust in Whumpee to help them, as in such a position Whumpee could easily finish Caretaker off.
Weapon only eats, drinks, and sleeps to specific commands. Caretaker either has to get things forcefully into Whumpee's system, or figure out these commands before it's too late. Weapon is growing thin.
Caretaker traces their fingers over all the scars Weapon has accumulated. These can't be from battles.

Villain turned Caretaker:
When a magical Hero gets kidnapped by an unknown Villain they instantly and easily get use to living conditions in captivity.
No food? Fair enough, once a three days is fine. Cold and no blanket or mattress? Okay, it's better for the back anyway. Blindfolded/tied up? Understandable, Villain can't trust a person they just met after all, can they?
(V:) "Oh, don't you like the way I hosted you, poor thing? Wanna cry for your friends to come get you?"
(H:) "Oh no, that's okay, really. It's not that different from my usual trainings"
(V:) "What."
Hero shrugs.
(V:) "You know, it's not fun when you're not complaining. Is that how your Leader treats their precious secret weapon?"
(H:) "Can a monster like me really expect anything better?"
(V:) "........"
(V:) "That's fucking it. I'm keeping you"

Re:draw series
I missed drawing Birb! I have no idea where to go with his story, that's why pictures of him and Caretaker are scarce. Anyway, here's the redraw of one of the first art involving Birb's caretaker. Love me some feral caretaker ❤️

Caretaker comes from a noble bloodline, as does Whumper, who all specialise in hunting mythical creatures. This trait and activity is passed on for generations, but Caretaker has no interest in it and deems it as cruel.
Until Whumper hosted a "celebration" of this activity, where all who are invited are given the choice to bring their domesticated and captured creatures to show off, Caretaker had no clue what the mythical creatures looked like, nor how diverse the species' were.
Caretaker soon finds out. All types of mythical or otherwise unique animals, ranging from kneeling elves to caged fairies to declawed werewolves to chained dragons, among many more. Though, one stands out to them; Whumpee, frail and small amongst the crowd and activity yet tense and alert, sitting dutifully beside Whumper's seat.

A non-human whumpee who drinks blood/eats human flesh controlling their hunger, either as a promise to their loved ones or because they treasure their morality more than their life and health. It leads to a variety of physical and psychological issues but they're determined to hold out for as long as they can... which is until the caretaker finds out.

Whump Prompt 115
Write something inspired by this concept:
Whumpee is turning into a monster and runs away from caretaker, afraid that they'll hurt or even kill caretaker if they stay around.
Caretaker searches desperately for whumpee, only to find them days later in the forest, huddled up bloody and feverish after their transformation.

Whump Prompt #1321
Submitted by @red-river-potato01 - thanks!
Character A is half human, half monster. They're human enough that they can usually hide it, but one day their team gets into a bad fight, and seeing their friends getting hurt drives A over the edge. Their monster instincts take over and they shift into their monster form, carving through the enemies in a bloodthirsty rage. They calm down after the fight, but now their biggest secret is out in the open. How do their friends react? Are they supportive, or are they scared of A's monstrous power?

Hi hello Whump Community! I’ve created a blog for a set of artworks and interactive story I’ve had in mind for a while now~
Vote your whump story focusing on circus with inhuman creatures. This post is to explore the interest of that kind of story.
You’ll be able to vote or suggest in asks on what happens to a picked creature, your friendly game master Monarch more than happy to help. Hey, if anyone wants, they can adopt them at the end of their arc and continue their story on their designated blog! References includes!

Hello! I'm Quiet and have been shadowing the whump scene for some time now, so I figure I'd try my hand at it! I'm a big fan of fantasy setting whump but I noticed a SURPRISING lack of it, and I intend to fix that >:) Especially right now as interested as I am in dnd, ha.
"Quiet whispering" will be my tag for original posts methinks. I'll tag all the stuff I like if you want to send writing requests about any of that.

Ah, collars. A collar could represent something captive against its will, controlled and enslaved by whatever placed it around its neck, or perhaps it could mean something loved, something protected and given a mark of "I take care of this creature, I accept it as my responsibility".
On the other hand, a lack of a collar could represent freedom, an escaping of imprisonment, or it could be the mark of something stray, something abandoned or feral, something sickly and street-born. Something unloved, left to rot outside.
I want to see a collar be used as the tipping point into domestic life, a fabric band that says "You are safe with me". A promise in the form of gentle hands affixing that banner to a willing neck. A mutual agreement, that "I am yours" and "you are mine".

Today’s vibe is the monster found locked up tightly in an abandoned building. Maybe someone found it in an old lab, long abandoned with the experiment’s purpose completely forgotten, or rotting away in a dungeon cell deep underground with only rats for company. Possibly even in a special prison, designed specifically to contain this monster, and hidden away in the hopes that nobody would find it and let it free
Was the person who found the monster looking for it intentionally, or just stumbled upon its prison by accident? What would they do with the monster?(hurt it? try to help it? leave it where they found it?) And why was the monster sealed away? For committing a terrible crime, being framed for said crime, or even just being powerful enough to scare people?
(And if the last one, imagine how little strength the monster would have after being released)
Especially that moment of discovery and the indecision that follows

Writing Prompt
"Character A?", The spotlight of Character B's flashlight shivered as they adjusted it onto a figure that once resembled Character A.
It screeched and clawed at the air towards the light. Character B shut it off, promising, "Don't worry, it's going to be okay. I'm here..."

16 & 25 - Bad caretaker/monster whumpee
Prompt list
• The caretaker means well but has no knowledge of whumpee's biology, as they're another species.
• The caretaker wants to help the whumpee specifically, but has strong bigotry against their species and refuses to do certain things (ie: giving a vampire whumpee human blood)
• The whumpee is considered terrifying, and the caretaker does nothing to defend them. If people are scared, they won't hurt the whumpee again.
• The caretaker rescues the whumpee from the whumper, but only to use/harvest some useful/valuable biological property. But at least the caretaker needs the whumpee in good health, unlike the whumper.
• The whumpee's species isn't considered sentient, and the caretaker takes them in like they would a stray cat. The caretaker has no idea what to do when the whumpee starts talking.
• The caretaker keeps the whumpee restrained and locked up for everyone's safety, but still tries to tend to their physical wounds, with plenty of precautions in place.
• The caretaker implants the whumpee with a tracker, to keep them safe of course. This isn't illegal, as the whumpee isn't human.

Whumptember day 18
“You said I’d be safe here” Ambushed | Paranoia | Being watched
Content warning: betrayal
“You said I’d be safe here,” Whumpee whispered, breaking the silence of Caretaker’s guestroom. Caretaker tried not to flinch at the sound of their voice. They hadn’t expected Whumpee to wake so soon.
They could feel Whumpee’s piercing eyes on them. Caretaker tried to ignore it. They went over their work diligently, carefully checking each strap binding Whumpee to their bed. They made sure everything was in place, tight enough where escape was impossible, but not so much as to hurt.
They saw Whumpee fight against their restraints, their movement still weak from the lingering drugs  in their system. Caretaker knew it wouldn’t last; they’d have to dose them regularly until they found a cure.
“I thought–I thought you’d be different, that you’d help me,” There was something bitter in Whumpee’s tone. “But you’re treating me like a monster, just like everyone else.”
Caretaker didn’t speak. They turned to the blinds, making sure they were securely in place so that not a hint of sun could land on Whumpee’s skin. Later, they’d have to move Whumpee to the basement, but this was their best short-term solution.
Behind them, Whumpee growled, and Caretaker couldn’t help but flinch.
“Say something! Why are you doing this?! You said you’d help me!” Whumpee snapped. “You said you’d help, you goddamn liar.”
Every word felt like a knife to Caretaker’s heart, and it took everything in them not to run from the accusations. “Because this is the only way to keep you safe, Whumpee!” Caretaker’s voice shook, gripping the curtains until their knuckles went white. “Please. You know there are people who want you dead. You know that you’ve hurt people. It’s not your fault, but you have, and you know you could do it again,” Caretaker sighed, exhausted in a way that sleep wouldn’t solve. “You’re not safe. Not for the people around you, not for yourself. There’s something wrong with you, and this is the only way I can help you.”
Somehow, Caretaker found the courage to turn. They saw the figure strapped to the bed, saw their familiar face, and yet it did not feel like they were staring at Whumpee. They felt like they were staring at a caged animal, at something that would eat them alive if given the chance. Whumpee’s eyes pierced through the darkness, angry and alight with something inhuman.
“This is for the best, I promise," Caretaker whispered into the darkness.
Whumpee didn’t respond.

Whump Prompt 125
Write something inspired by this scene:
Monster whumpee transforms back into his human form and regains control of his mind, only to find the bloodied body of caretaker lying at his feet.
Overcome by horror and grief, whumpee falls to his knees.
"You see what you are, whumpee?" comes whumper's voice from behind him. "You're a monster. And the only safe place for you is with me."
