Leon gives birth to a monster. He had been feeling sick for a while but assumed it was from what had happened in the village. He had hoped there would be no lasting effects, yet he never trusted when he was told that would be the case. He was right, which was evident when he found himself getting hungry and tired constantly, as well as his stomach aching. It was after almost ten months that it happened. He had been in his room when pains started to shoot through his body and in a panic he went to the closet person, which just so happened to be Chris. Chris was obviously confused but helped him to his room when Leon seemed to pissed himself. He was disgusted but the guy was clearly panicking and in pain, so he could yell at him later. Leon had only managed to say that something was inside him before he devolved into nosies of pain and screams of agony and despair. Chris had cut his clothes off and watch in horror as some kind of slimy tentacle pushed its way out of his asshole. Leon was on bing and begging or it to get out, to leave him alone. Chris was too panicked to think to go to the medical room or even call for help, instead telling Leon to hold on and that he was going to help him if he could. It wasn’t the way Leon had thought and silently hoped Chris was stretch him open, but he was too desperate to complain. The creature eventually come out of him, only slightly ripping his ass much to his approval. It was humanoid with red skin and several tentacle like arms with a face so similar to the monsters he had been killing ever since Raccoon City. Leon had sobbed as he clung to Chris, who gauged him and stroked his sweat soaked hair. They had just left the crying baby on the floor at first, neither wanting to touch it before Leon couldn’t handle to crying and picked it up, acting on instinct to calm it down. It had worked and the baby had instantly started to cling to Leon as a normal baby would, yet it seemed as if it was at the age of a one year old not a new born. Leon didn’t know what came over him but he found himself begging Chris to not tell anyone, to let him keep this monster that was his own. He didn’t want to think about how he had given birth or even gotten impregnated with it, but he couldn’t leave it. Something inside him wouldn’t allow that. If Chris wasn’t barreling his own emotions of Leon he would of just taken or killed it then and there, but Leon was Leon. He couldn’t do that to him.

I think the video in this tweet:

shows better than any other the weird spinning light pattern on Baby's stomach. One might even say it's a spiral, maybe she contains the mirror that takes the kids to the second area and we have to get her to "open up", it would explain why they decided to make her a doll.

I have been wondering, though... is she entirely a doll? She does seem to have folds of skin on her arms. The only thing that appears to be doll like is her head, which as you can see has little holes where the hair would normally be.

Taking the Lady's dolls as reference, you can see there is a striking difference: Monster Baby's skin is flexible and soft. All of it except for her head, which is where we know the shining Stone Eye is implanted. I keep wondering if at some point she used to be a... semi normal baby? Entirely made of flesh? Hell, I'm even pondering the possibility that her head looks like that because of the Stone Eye. Like an unwanted side effect.

It would not be the first time we see a doll made out of a living being... the Pretender was quite fond of those, wasn't she.

((Completely unrelated I keep thinking about the Pretender and the Baby here making friends. They remind me of each other in many ways because of the Baby's given description. Monster Baby is starting to grow on me idk how to feel about it))

Going back to what you were saying though: the pattern does seem like it's a spiral because of the way it continously rotates, but I can't help but wonder if it was just a prop for the huge Baby. It might mean something more, but until we see more of her, we can't say for certain.

more backstory that i wrote up for patreon heh:

Simon and Tommy had a complicated relationship as brothers.

At a young age, Simon basically wrote himself off as a lost cause, and did the best he could to make sure at least Tommy had a chance to be a functioning human being. After all, Tommy was the gentler brother, the dreamer, the one who looked like their mother (who'd walked out on them years ago to escape their father). But Tommy got bitter, got sick of the one always being protected, being babied. He lost respect for Simon, for the way he wouldn't fight back, and in a twisted way, grew closer to his father as a way to learn how to be powerful, strong. It backfired, and Tommy got wrapped up in some bad business.

Simon's kid brother died while he was deployed. He got the news in the letter, and it broke him in a big way. In the story timeline, it was years and years ago but it still hurts like hell whenever Simon thinks about him.
