So I know this is kind of in the FAQ but want to run a suggestion/idea by you just as an idea.

In theory would the guys from call of duty ghosts also be made up wraiths, seeing as based on the game’s lore they sort of went through a similar process (and by similar I mean a form of rebirth into a supernatural entity)?

I mean you have to admit an entire teams of wraiths is terrifying, but making it ghosts with their lore is even more frightening to me

i really see where you're coming from here, and i think it's an interesting concept as well...i think my only hang up with it is that I feel like most wraiths (going off personal headcanons) is that they're a very individualistic kind of monster. When they're 'born' or 'created', they're very much 100% ruled by this desire for revenge which is claimed by any means necessary. I feel like forcing a lot of wraiths together would be dicey (and probably super overpowered in this world).

hello! yes, I definitely would but it'll cost a lost more than the average commission depending on the level of quality you'd be looking for. If I could give you a ballpark, probably the cheapest you'd get it at would be $600 USD (around $200 per panel, conservatively).

I hate to ask this cause it feels stupid but I dont wanna do a bunch of research on whatever the recent cod mw fandom discourse is,

but I saw the reblog of someone accusing you of supporting people who write sexualized pedophilia and that really is personally my only """"moral"""" with nsfw shit, (I'm a patreon subscriber and ig I just wanna know where my money's going) is THAT true?

this is such a never-ending nightmare.

i used to follow an artist who, 5-6 months ago made racist art featuring gaz in a slave context, which I didn't like, retweet or interact with in any way. they also made under-age art of ghost soap, which I also didn't interact with . people on twitter called me out yesterday, for retweeting art they'd made as evidence I stood by/encouraged/was an avid fan of all these tropes. Also, the art I retweeted wasn't either of these previous examples of art, but one where ghost and soap were sleeping in a bed together, as adults, peacefully. I can't emphasise enough that I have not interacted with this artist at all, for literally six months.

genuinely, my only crime is not unfollowing + blocking this artist earlier on, and then daring to retweet a fic tagged with "non-con" (ghost gets soap off in a context where he can't really properly consent, they're in front of a crowd of strangers and they have to fuck, but both parties are into each other) written by a friend as I wanted to support their writing.

and now i have pedophile claims because I accidentally retweeted a fandom bingo post that defended loli-con, and then immediately un-retweeted it when I properly read it.

And people are calling me a zoophile for supporting someone who wrote zoophilic fic and called people slurs (???) and I genuinely don't know who they're talking about there.

And the same people called me racist for making Horangi's eyes in the monster!AU sensitive because they thought I was making fun of Asian eyes. The real reason is because he's a cat hybrid and cats are sensitive to light (and I'm Chinese).

I tried addressing all this in a simpler way earlier on, and responded to an ask talking about my "support" for the artist who drew the slave Gaz art by saying the fanart in question was tone deaf and in poor taste. It wasn't enough for some people, so I'm happy to say it again - yes, it was racist, and the reason why I didn't want to be more aggressive is because I didn't want to extend all this mess by throwing this artist under the bus - I genuinely believed them when they said that wasn't that their intention, and think they should've deleted the post at the time.

And also I'm now called a rapist bc I like to entertain fics with dom/sub dynamics that dip into cnc, as an asexual woman who's personally repulsed by sex when it comes to myself.

That's everything so far. I really don't know what you people want from me anymore. I followed the wrong artist. I retweeted the wrong post. And I've undid those actions now. And for so many people to have taken literally everything spread by these people at face value, without even checking if their claims are true, is incredibly hurtful and isolating.

Do you think unicorn hybrids would exist in your au? Most unicorns are described as having magic of some kind, usually healing magic. Would they just be better skilled healers than other hybrids? What type of monster would they be classified as? Sorry if this is a lot of questions, I'm just really fond of world building stuff!

y’know, I find these sorts of asks so interesting because it makes me actually have to sit and think about the effective implementation of a unicorn hybrid. Like, I think the easy way out is to go for the centaur option, but maybe it’s more like a satyr? With a horn and the classic flowing tresses and the hind legs of a unicorn, but with a human torso and head?

These hybrids would probably be a static-type hybrid (e.g Price, Gaz) where what you see is what you get, there isn’t a second transformation stage. In comparison, Soap, Horangi and Konig would be shifter-type hybrids, their base form is mostly human and they can shift to their monster form. And Ghost would be an flux-type hybrid (although he’s not really a hybrid but whatever, nuance) where there’s a mercurial amount of transformation. Another example of a flux-type would be a shapeshifter.

So to recap:

Static-type: 1 form, constant

Shifter-type: 2-3 forms, staggered

Flux type: 3+ forms, fluid

So with wraith for you AU I've seen the spicy bits through your patreon, can they still reproduce and do they grow old/older? I think o remember in your lore that using their powers poisons them.

Yes Simon will grow 'older' but sort of only in cosmetic ways (hair growth, nail growth, that kind of thing). He's sort of frozen in time at the moment of transformation, and will stay that way until he goes supernova one day or is killed (and then he'll disperse in a cloud of smoke). He can also reproduce, but his wraith-iness won't be transferred to a child - it'll kinda just take his human genetic material.

thank you!! haetaes are mythological creatures that are present in a lot of Asian cultures actually (like Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese)- they're just called haetaes in Korea. In China, they're called xiezhi, which is how I first knew them.

You can read more about them and how they pertain to Korean culture here (they're the official symbol of Seoul btw!)

Would there be dire werewolves, or would they be extinct like dire wolves??

I Imagine dire werewolves would be more tanky with thicker fur and a more aggressive personality and like, when the person wasn't transformed it'd be be kinda obvious cause dire werewolves are larger than regular werewolves like with the real life counterparts, and a not transformed dire werewolf would be taller than your average Joe ifk what I'm saying?

i feel like they definitely still exist, but probably aren't very easy to find...like i'd like to imagine one of soap's great-great-great-grandfathers was a direwolf who's blood's been diluted down through the generations until they got soap (who, like most werewolves now, are a hodge-podge mongrel mix of a ton of different clans/packs).

Idk if you know this anon, but i kinda explained how the werewolf dynamic works in the monster au and how they're a bit different from normal shifter-type monsters (although they're still classified as one).

although werewolves are classified as a shifter-type monster (same as Horangi or the cockatrice) they're actually unique in a hidden way. Horangi is a hybrid whose lineology originates from the first pureblood haetaes, which had zero human in them. In comparison, werewolves originated AS a human-wolf monster, which results in an interesting relationship between the human and shifted 'full-wolf' form. While Horangi is the same in his human and haetae form, Soap juggles two souls in one body - one belonging to human side, and the other to his wolf. They are both still implicitly him - the souls run parallel with one another throughout his life - but being a werewolf is very much like maintaining a life-long partnership. Soap and his wolf are a great example of a success story, but some werewolves have difficult relationships with their wolf, resulting in only transforming during full moons when they have to.

anyway the reason why i bring it up is because i think the main way direwolves and current werewolves differ is how conjoined their two souls are. while current werewolves' dominant souls are their human side, direwolves' dominant souls would probably be their wolf side. So that means that for direwolves, they'd spend most of their lives fully living as a wolf, and only becoming human for very short periods of time.

(also i think they'd be massive too)
