Shadow of War’s Celebrimbor feels so much like Fëanor to me actually. And now I’m mad because the idea of Fëanor making his own ring of power, and then instead of dying, getting soul melded with a random ranger and puppeting him like the rat from ratatouille all while yelling about getting his palantirs back and how he’s gonna kick Sauron’s ass would have been an objectively better and funnier game.
Alright, so everyone and their mom has at least one grievance with The Rings of Power, so let me air mine.
Why the hell does Amazon think that Celebrimbor looks like this? Like a grumpy boring professor?
How do they NOT KNOW that Celebrimbor, grandson of the infamous house of Fëanor, actually looks like this:
And if Amazon knows none of this, they clearly don’t know that Celebrimbor's evil ride or die BFF looks like this:
Well done, Amazon. You missed out on the chance to milk their tragedy-filled, horrific cat-and-mouse style bromance that ends in despair & literal torture.
Cannot even begin to tell you how much i am mentally unwell because of Middlearth Shadow of War/Mordor
Like Talion is one of the few people who resisted the temptation of the ring. To still be alive he nedded either the ring or Celebrimbor
And he of his own will gave away the ring for the elf. I am crying screaming throwing up every time i remember this shit.
AND AFTER ALL THIS CELEBRIMBOR LEFT HIM TO DIE BECAUSE TALION REFUSED TO DO WHAT HE WANTED OF HIM (consume the soul of a dude who was binded and wanted to be free)
This is so fucking painful but also so unabashedly gay like fucking hell. Talion really out there trying to help Celebrimbor while that elf gaslights him for two games. Impossible horrible i want them to be happy what the fuck dude can you be normal
This gorgeous art of my boy Hûra was done by @boozy-dwarf! Please go check them out and think about commissioning them! 💕😉

He was never afforded much. Hûra scrounged for everything that he's ever owned. It was all he knew. The armour that he wore was old and falling apart. His shoes had holes in them. A rat had eaten a hole in his trousers one night but there was no use in lamenting over it.
Hûra had something that not many uruks would ever have. As he observed a small patch of elgarnan, a croak caught his attention. His faithful companion, a crow that he has affectionately named Ghâsh, flew down from the skies to greet him.
She was always a pleasant sight, even if she could be ornery at times. Ghâsh circled until Hûra offered her his arm to perch upon, which he did without hesitation. Her weight was a comfort and though her talons were sharp there were a security.
Hey dear friends! Here’s your reminder that my gaming stream is happening today. It’s at the new time of 3:00/3:30pm PST and will run roughly until 5:00-5:30 PST depending on when it starts. I’ll post a link when I get close (within 5-10min) of going live.
Per the poll, today I’m embarking on Middle Earth: Shadow of War, which I’ve never played before! So naturally this series will include spoilers for the plot of the game. I’m so excited to play a game based on Tolkien’s work (however loosely haha)!
I’m alternating each week between it and Project Zomboid Galadriel, now that we’re in slower mid-to-late game gameplay with her.
