David looked up, finding Patrick’s earnest eyes focused right in his direction. There was a softness in his warm, honey brown irises that David wanted to curl up into. A wide smile featuring these slight wrinkles at the corner of his mouth that David imagined kissing every morning. He looked relaxed and somehow attractive than David had ever seen. He looked happy, like he didn’t have a care in the world. Maybe he and Rachel made love this morning. David imagined he might look like that if he fucked the love of his life before starting the workday. Hell, he might consider becoming a morning person for the right person. A person standing maybe six feet in front of him.

The site of the recycled cardboard drink tray brought him back to reality. “Oh, thank God. I was wondering how much longer you were going to be.” David retrieved the bag, securing it in his hands. “Did you literally take these out of the oven?”

“Twyla took them out just as I walked in.”

David peeked inside the folded wax paper parcel. “Oh my God? Did you get all the muffins? I could kiss you right now.” David glanced up, finding a visible blush running down Patrick’s neck, likely matching the warmth on his own cheeks. Sometimes he just needed a filter. Patrick likely knew he was kidding, but still David knew he shouldn’t joke around about kissing your straight, engaged to be married business partner. “Not that I would kiss you.” David clarified, flailing around his hands around before scooping out a Chocolate Chip muffin.

The grin on Patrick’s face disappeared into something blank, unreadable even. Maybe confusion? It couldn’t be disappointment. Patrick said no ten years ago. Nothing changed. Rachel was still part of the equation and he sure as hell would not be the reason those two didn’t make it to the altar.

From there my thirst comes out like a sexy little demon in tight jeans and a vaguely downwards saunter. Act II (Revelations) is an attempt at season 3. Treat it as a separate work that builds off Act I. Lots of plot twists ahead/theories/speculations that I won’t spoil for you :)

Fifteen years have passed since Aziraphale returned to Heaven, and still sometimes Crowley feels shell shocked and embarrassed and grief-stricken. And mostly, he still feels numb. Fifteen years isn’t really so long, in the grand scheme of things, and yet these have somehow been the longest years of his existence. He can almost feel time crawling by, laughing at him. But slowly, so slowly, Crowley began to try again. To try harder. To find a piece of himself that Aziraphale had not touched. To find a piece of himself that does not need changing. On his good days, he can open up. His friends come over to the flat, once in a while, and Maggie brings new records and Muriel brings burnt cookies that no-one complains about because they're so proud of them. They'll exchange stories and simply enjoy each other's company for a few hours. And sometimes, he feels almost alright. Until Crowley turns around and Aziraphale is there, standing in front of him, trying to stop the world from ending all over again.

Besides, you’re being stubborn. You’ll help me eventually.” Rage flashes over Crowley’s face. “You think so, do you?” Aziraphale juts his chin up stubbornly, ignoring the unpleasant feelings Crowley’s expression stirs in him. “Yes.” Aziraphale needs Crowley's help in saving humanity from the Second Coming and despite what happened between them he's determined to get it. After all, it's not only that he needs Crowley, but his plan also includes their car. As for the other matters between the two of them... well there's no reason those can't be sorted out along the way as well, is there? Or, a possible take on Series 3 that includes the Bentley, a resurrected Jesus Christ set on bringing about the End of Days, and an angel and a demon who are stupidly in love with each other but are both suffering from a lack of experience on how to actually deal with said emotions. Emphasis on the stupidly.

The SILLIEST father EVER guys.

For actual years he was fully under the impression he HATED all kids with a passion. I mean guys look at how badly he treated Aku-

Well then he had you and things changed

It's just something about you being his kid, not a subordinate or random kid on the street

He's your dedicated apologist

In fact, he encourages your mischief!

When you were younger, it was a lot harder to handle you. He even found himself on his last fuse sometimes. Usually, he left Atsushi or Yosano to deal with you

He didn't want to revert to old habits and accidentally traumatize you :(

When he can handle himself, though, he's only halfway controlling you-

He's right along with you in the heinous activities half of the time

Hiding Ranpo's candy (for as long as it lasts), misplacing Kunikida's glasses, hell you two have probably snuck into the infirmary and changed the sheets to something very colorful and very childishly wolf themed...

He's not really a mature dad, nonono. But he's doing his best

He fully supports all of your wildest interests, even tries out some of the more entertaining ones

He struggles to act excited when you're younger and all your interests are very out of his range, but as you grow older he's actually a bit intrigued by them sometimes

Best birthday gift ideas, too. He's very creative when he wants to be.

He also has way more money than he should be ALLOWED to have

For your Sweet Sixteen, he most definitely got you an obsessively large custom pinata of your favorite character...

He makes sure EVERYBODY gets you gifts, because you are his world and thus you must be everybody else's as well

He really does try to keep you out of work, and especially away from his suicide biz

Maybe HE doesnt have a reason to live, but he certainly doesnt want you picking up those thoughts, because he knows you have a real big destiny to live up to someday

I mean, what would the world be without you?

When you hit the age of 13 though, its really hard to hide anything from you

You're so scary when you grow up! And you're way too smart!!4

Did you get that from him? oops...

Now, he doesnt have any plans of living that long, but if you do grow big and strong and smart one day, and you join the ADA, he's definitely got some favoritism.

Surprisingly, Fukuzawa actually gives you your first few proper missions with him

(Because he knows Dazai will not be letting any harm come to you, he trusts Dazai with his life and he knows you trust Dazai even more)

If you have different plans for adulthood though, he's still so supportive

If you go to uni, you're going to have to show him off

Why?

Because, guys, he's a dilf

Nobody's gonna be mean to the kid with a dilf father, they all want him

He jokes about it constantly

But rest assured, stupid and immature uni kids are NOT his type, no matter how nice the ones his age look

He's got his eyes set on that waitress and at least four other men at the moment

If you go straight into the workplace instead of uni, he's going to use his connections to get you a good job early!

Fukuzawa has a good way with words and Dazai himself is a pretty good reference contact

Just tell them he's your teacher, or something

It's not like they'll know his hobbies, he's wayyyy too big a mystery for that

Overall: 7/10 dad

A little rough around the edges, but he's trying hard to improve himself for you

And he's trying hard to give you the best life he can offer

It's fine, not toward him, he almost never says no to you so theres no need

There's absolutely no amount of money that can't be spent on you.

Luxury clothes, professionally cooked dinners, fancy rooms, home staff, the whole works

Despite all that though, he's insistent you go to a public/private school

He's not tutoring you, wont even hire one

It's not because he CAN'T, it's because he KNOWS how important it is for you to get your sense of independence early

Sure, you'll always have financial support, even if he dies (Trust fund babyyyyy)

But thats not what's actually important to your future

You need social skills, you need friends, you need and education and the taste of disappointment

Dont worry, though, he's not sending you unprepared

You're not eating school lunches unless you want to (but fuck why would you?)

He's sending you to school with top notch food every day

And clothes

And supplies

Plus, you'll have a tutor at the ready for anything you need a little extra help in

But for the most part he keeps as far as he can out of that section of your life

You friends are yours, not his

He's polite when they have sleepovers, and he's more than willing to host parties and hangouts

But he doesn't try too hard to impress them, and he doesn't talk to them unless its related to you

Because as much as he loves being around kids (a real big father he wants to adopt everybody he sees)

He doesn't want to impose on any boundaries YOU may have

As a side note though, he's still very observant of your relationships with them

If he overhears any manipulation, or shit talking (about you or not), he's not going to let it sit and exist

If it comes to it, he will contact the parents (And holy fuck they are TERRIFIED i mean imagine a publicly known MAFIA EXECUTIVE contacting you to tell your kid fucked with his ABSOLUTELY NOT GUYS)

If you're into any extracurriculars, he is ALWAYS there

Even if he's overseas on a mission, he has some lower rank attend and clears his schedule so he can watch through a call

Also guys, he practically funds your school?

Your teachers are terrified to cross you because if they do there will be NO SALARY

You complain about anything that happened? He's fixing it up in any way he can

You are his ANGEL, NOTHING will ruin your day as long as he can prevent it.

When you grow up, your options are very clear in his eyes

Either you go to uni and live independent of the mafia, or you inherit his spot when he dies

If you go for neither, he may be a bit shocked, but he'll hesitantly step back

He'll see how it goes, but he's not very confident at first

If it goes well? Fuck, great! He's always in your corner rooting for you

If it doesn't go so well, you always have him as a backup

He'll always be there to take you back with open arms and give you a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc chance. Always

If you do join the mafia, there will be no low rank experience for you

You're straight to the upper ranks. At first, you'll probably be in a position similar to Akutagawa under Dazai or how he was under Koyo

Direct subordinate, his apprentice, his prodigy

And when he dies, you're next in line for his exec spot

There's not even a worry about your skillset, he knows he's trained you well, ability or no ability.

Finally, back to the dilf topic I've mentioned at the beginning

If you go to uni, he has the same problem Dazai had, but WORSE

Fuck guys, he swears he tries to keep out of your friendships, but suddenly everyone's adults and they wont leave him alone.

It's at this point he stops hosting your events (except birthdays) and separates himself

No way is he getting involved with crazy college kids, no way

Overall: 9/10 father

He's a bit absent in your social circle, but he's your dad and thats that

He screams support from the stands and that's really the best you can ask for in a dad <3

theyre so pathetic together-

theyre all the entertainment you need growing up

constant bickering (lovingly)

they dont involve you in all that

it comes with them both being in seperate factions, but they BOTH work very hard to keep you out of the professional lives

you're their kid, they dont want you in any of the doublesided danger that could get you in

you're probably a secret to everyone except the ADA and the other mafia

And your existence is on a need-to-know basis for everybody else

Dazai is the more present figure in your life, simply because Chuuya has to be a bit more distant

It's the nature of his line of work, anyone he's seen with is a target, and he doesn't want that to be you

He will be at your schooling events still, though. He will be YELLING AND SHOUTING in the stands

Into sports? Every time theres an unfair play he will cuss the living daylights out of the ref

And they just have to let him because theres nothing they can really do about

Dazais the same way, but with less scare factor and way less vigor

After games, he's going to complain WITH you about how lame the whole thing was if you lost, how everything was judged unfairly

They may not get along the best together, but they love each other and especially love you, so they're improving for you

Read: Chuuya is making them improve for you

Dazai thinks hes the victim in all this!

But oh well, if Chuuya makes him apologize when they argue in front of you, he will

When you're all grown up, they both encourage you to find your own path

You've got the chance, thanks to them, and they dont want you involved in their little wars

It's not like you can join any sides, because who would want to be against your dad :(

So really your only choice is moving out, maybe even away-

If you really do want into their business, they both insist you join the ADA

It's safer there for you, and Chuuya would rather have to order his men to not under any circumstances EVER hurt you, than have to watch someone he can't control put you in danger

Plus, he knows Dazai will keep you in the safest position possible

Overall: 7/10 together

They're a nightmare at dinner, and Dazai is sleeping on the couch almost every night

But they adore you and every move you make, so there's no way you're feeling unloved at all

Do you have any headcanons or anything of the sort regarding Precipice Moirai/PreMo? I'd like to hear what your thoughts are about them!

I don't think about Premo a ton (for people who are confused, this is Idia's favorite idol group), but here's how I personally picture them:

They're sisters.

They look youngish (or "ageless") but they're actually a bazillion years old. Don't ask them about how old they are or they'll give you that smile that doesn't fully reach their eyes.

Because they're so old, they've seen sooo much and are thus easily bored. They live for listening in on drama and scandals because those can get so absurd it provides some fleeting entertainment to them.

In interviews and talk shows, they drop very archaic, outdated jokes and have refined manners of speaking. It's an odd mix of how your grandma might talk combined with modern anachronisms (slang). It's very "how do you do, fellow kids" energy.

They get along in public, but they constantly bicker and act overly competitive in private (usually over borrowed items).

They came up with a really complicated and dark “anime-esque” backstory for how their group got together. No one knows if the backstory is really true or if it’s something their marketing team came up with as part of their “lore”.

In some interpretations, the Fates are specified as Clotho (who spins the threads of fate with her spindle), Lachesis (who measures the threads of fate using a measuring tape), and Atropos (who cuts the threads of fate using shears). In other interpretations, Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos represent past, present, and future respectively.

I think of each girl as being representative of one place in time. For example, the Fate representative of the present may be a carefree party goer who wants to "live in the moment", without thinking much of the consequences (the future) or her previous mistakes (the past).

I see Premo banking on these themes as motifs or image items for the corresponding idol girl (so one represents the past with her spindle, one represents the present with her measuring tape, etc.). I also headcanon that the idols have their own merch and fandom hand signals which make reference to each Fate's respective task. For example, there may be scissors on a Premo T-shirt or a scissor-like hand shape or cutting motion made to signal that you stan "Atropos" of the Fates.

Eyes are a prominent motif and are more universally associated with the group as a whole rather than an individual member. (This is because the Fates were fighting over a single eyeball in Disney's Hercules.)

It’s implied that the girls wear black, but I headcanon that most of their outfits are monochromatic, save for like maybe a few colorful accessories.

It would be cool if they also incorporated elements of Japanese mythology into their group's theme. More specifically, I love the idea of the three girls wearing a red ribbon or some slash of red on their outfits each time they perform. This would be a reference to the "red thread of fate" which permeates many east Asian cultures. It is said that this "thread of fate" connects you to someone you are destined to meet someday, someone who will change your life in some significant way. Typically this means romantically (which would fit in the culture of Japan promoting idols as "pure" and "avaliable" to their fans), but it can also be interpreted platonically. I think this makes a lot of sense given that the Fates are marketed as "three girls bound by Fate".

They blend traditional dance and attire with modern practices. It's very important to them to retain their history and culture, as well as to share it with a new generation so that they are preserved for the future.

They partner up/collaborate with organizations and programs that seek to educate others about history, such as museums and restoration projects. Again, this is because Premo truly cares about preserving history and teaching it to others.

Wondertrans x Showtime (aka wxs gender hcs from someone that doesn't even know her own gender fully)

Emu: she/her + neos, trans girl. Realized it when she was really young, her grandfather was the first person she told for the most part, he helped her pick out her name ("it's fitting for a girl that can make the world smile, no?" ":') grandpa..."). Not necessarily open about it (her family was initially a bit confused by it but at this point they're more okay with it), but she won't deny it if someone figures it out, and is very loud about it with other LGBTQ+ people or if someone she cares about is questioning or dealing with dysphoria. Been on hormones for a while now, but still has bad dysphoria days sometimes, she tries to hide her struggles but if her friends see through it or help her say what's wrong they'll help her no matter what.

Rui: he/they/she + neos, the most genderqueer fella known to man. Is he transfem? Are they transneu? Is he just really gnc? Genderfluid? Multigender? No one knows, and Rui doesn't mind, they aren't the type for labels, they're just themselves. Started questioning her gender in junior high, and felt really confused and lost about it for a while, which definitely didn't help her feelings of being isolated or "other" compared to her peers. He knew about being trans or non-binary, but he didn't necessarily feel like those labels fit him, and even after getting help from Mizuki with these things he still didn't want to be that open about it. Once he joined WxS though, they became more comfortable with their identity, though they didn't immediately tell anyone outside of Mizuki or Nene out of fear of ostracization. Eventually, during a conversation about similar things, she came out to Tsukasa and Emu, who were nothing but supportive, and ever since she's been more comfortable with being openly genderqueer.

Nene: she/he, not exactly transmasc but not fully transneu either. Never really thought much about her gender, didn't see it as anything to worry much about. Supportive of Emu and Rui nonetheless, but never entertained thoughts of himself maybe being something similar (no time for gender when you've got anxiety and acting and video games). I like to imagine that the realization is almost smacked in her face, hitting her like a train. The fic idea that I've had is that one day a Rui-caused explosion burns his hair, forcing him to get it cut, and once he does he's hit with this sense of comfort and belonging with how he looked he'd never felt before. It wasn't like she'd felt uncomfortable with herself before, but this felt so much better? And it all sort of built from there, him eventually going to Rui for help once he fully realizes what's going on, and WxS help him and yay :D

Tsukasa: he/she (also dabbles with star/stars neos sometimes), not quite transfem or transneu but somewhere in between the two. Takes a while to realize he's trans, probably long after meeting WxS. Was ashamed and mad at himself for it at first, despite being cool with anyone else being genderqueer. She can't be trans, she's a star, she can't become a star if she is (even though she thinks the rest of his troupe can nonetheless). It takes a lot of reassurance from others in his life for him to accept it about himself, and once he does they try everything they can to help him feel cute and beautiful and euphoric and yay. I sort of have the idea that she realizes this after having to crossdress for a role in a show or something, might write a fic about that someday. (Also Saki and Toya are both vaguely genderfluid, so they also help star stop being a hypocrite and accept starself).

Also they're all arospec and together <3

i have another offering for @mommyclan... this is pandionpaw and she sucks hard

Trans girl, she/her

9 moons old

Very small! Pandionpaw is about 7 inches at the shoulder

Incredibly obnoxious, Pandionpaw thinks she is the best apprentice in all of Mommyclan, as well as she's going to be the greatest warrior in all of the clan when she gets her warrior name. Whoever her mentor is has a lot cut out for them

Also constantly talks about becoming deputy and then leader someday. Just you wait, she's on the fast-track to become a warrior any day now! And then the leader will see she's so cool and give her an apprentice immediately, or maybe they'll even see that she's good enough to be deputy without an apprentice! She'd deserve it, after all (her own thoughts)

In addition to that, she's very very competitive as well! She tries to turn everything into a competition because she thinks it's fun and also she wants to win and show the others how good she is

Unfortunately, she does have the skills to back it all up. She is a very good fighter - and a good hunter when she can keep her mouth shut. However, her ego often gets herself into situations she can't win, so she often gets her ass kicked and ends up in the healer den, lol

She actually got that torn ear because she charged in to fight a fox over a large rabbit it had killed, much to the chagrin of her mentor

Though, that's only if her clanmates can catch her bleeding or limping or whatever. Pandionpaw tries to walk off just about everything, because she's tough, dammit!! This includes illnesses that she should really get checked out, but she's fine. She's fine! She promises! Don't feel her nose she's not warm she's fine -

Like the doodle above, if she thinks anything is unfair, she sure will say it. This is mostly to her fellow apprentices, but she can call out the more authoritative figures in the clan if she thinks it's a big injustice

She's a big scaredy-cat, but acts like she's not. She pretends like she's so brave and she'll lead the charge into the spooky hollow log - but as she gets closer she's like, oh, um... I guess we can go together. Like you wanted. I'm feeling generous!

Also a big lesbian. She doesn't have any crushes yet but she's a huge cringefail lesbian when she gets one. She gets even more obnoxious, trying to show off in front of the cat more than she usually would and snarks a lot more than usual (which is already a lot) trying to get them to laugh at her jokes

She's allergic to feathers and can't really eat or hunt birds because of it. This is something she routinely ignores, because catching birds is cool and impressive. She also denies ever having the allergy to anyone who brings it up. It's just some stray dirt up her nose! You don't know what you're talking about!!

Hello dear Amie bagelrites I have a question. Would you say the skephalo dynamic changed after they met in person? did the gay pining get better or worse or did it stay the same? Also do you think they will ever get their shit together or are they doomed to simply be boy best friends forever. I would love your opinion if u want to give it ^_^ 📋🖊

oh boy oh boy!!! it did for sure change, but it's part of a larger pattern of change. Prior to meet-up they went through a period where there was clear and uncomfortable tension, and a bit of emotional distance between them, which culminated in Skeppy posting the "Best Friend" music video. They must have had some kind of talk which including agreeing in much more solid terms that they were going to meet up after that, and things seemed to smooth over. Skeppy acts jealous when Bad meets up with q first, but it's clearly playful and very um... it feels like how dream said he doesn't mind George meeting other people first because when he meets George it's gonna be forever? A bit like that? Except the forever part is perhaps delusional on Skeppy's end... See, because when they first meet up, Skeppy is happier than we've ever seen him. That night, he joins q on a twitter space and says, giggling the most love-sick giggles I have ever heard, that he thinks Bad is going to move in, and he's just "giving him a vibe."

Anyways. Their online closeness seems to translate very, very well to in-person closeness. If you want to see the extent of that, watch some clips from Hannah's valentine cookie stream and the stream Bad did where Skeppy was sleeping in the background (and where they open a fan package that has a skephalo flag in it. and hold it up to the camera and seem very happy about it.) Something shifts after this in that their on-camera bickering seems far less like actual annoyance and much more like a practiced bit they love to do (which, to be fair, it always was, but man... it just hit different right after meet-up). The second meet up is much the same, they seem really obsessed with each other and sweet to each other (Skeppy eating the hot chip on the munchy crew hot wings stream because he "needs to suffer with bad" for example). They even seem to have gone on a date (???) at this time.

But now they haven't met up in a while, and the last time they did, things were slightly weird? Like mostly still acting cute and obsessed as per usual (Bad singing Skeppy's name as he walked around the hotel and getting that plushie from the claw machine that reminded him of Skeppy, for example) but Skeppy seemed a little... off? In Bad's stream from the vidcon hotel room? Like, he does not seem happy at all about Bad continually suggesting that they log onto q smp and talk to his egg. And now... idk. They've had some pretty typical skephalo crazy-isms on twitter, but Skeppy isn't posting that many videos, and it's hard to tell what's going on behind the scenes right now because we just can't see it.

Honestly? They could be fine. They could be talking a lot off camera because they realize their off-camera relationship is important, too, or they could be getting weird and distant again. We just don't know. I am firmly in the camp of delusional skephalo believers, though, and I do think it's completely possible that they'll get together and actually have a stable, functioning relationship someday. I just think it's gonna take a while, as do all things with them. But, hey! They met up after like 3 years and most of us had given up on that! Maybe they just need 3 more years to move in together, you know?

I try my hardest! I mostly write "live" these days, though, and I get behind because I'm hitting "post chapter" and then starting a new document to write the next. I read every single one and treasure them dearly. They keep me going, and I appreciate them so much. I plan on getting to the ones I've missed eventually!

6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

No can do. I promise Klainbows 100% of the time. I read and write fanfiction to escape the hell that is reality. If the boys haven't found a way to make life work together... the fic isn't over yet! ♥♥♥ I suppose that Magic Spoken at Midnight is a tiny bit angsty because we know they have a lot of work ahead of them to restore Pantasia (but it's not angst between Klaine).

Okay, now this is a hard question! I think my favorite ending is tied with Rock, Paper, Scissors, and Never Crossed the Line.

Luckily, no!

I do! I didn't find fanfic (or Glee) until I was very much an adult. All my stories are almost exclusively Explicit! 😂 I started writing smut because I wanted to read stories that treated sex as something that could be both smoldering hot and sacredly beautiful at the same time. I've tried several times to sit down and write PWP, and it always turns into something more. And I've learned I just have to embrace that about myself!

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you've ever written?

No, I never have. Maybe someday?

I sure hope not.

I don't think so.

I was part of the fandom project PROM-US and wrote two chapters of that. I've never co-written something with just two people where you would plot it out together and such.

I have a few "brainstorming" documents where I write lists and quick paragraphs when they jump into my mind and research articles, and... you get the idea. I wouldn't call them WIP exactly. I know some of them I might never get to write. But as for WIP, where there is some sort of structure? I will get them done! My brain won't allow me to sleep at night if I don't convince it they'll all get done.

16. what are your writing strengths?

I hope it's writing conversations that are hard to have. Digging down into details and asking hard questions. Working through things with another human being without someone slamming a door and leaving. Writing about vulnerability in intimacy. (I think that conversations can be more intimate than sex, for sure!).

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

I can't stand missing a moment of their lives in some of these AUs I create. I want to know everything they're doing. The first few months of a relationship are so crucial, and I LOVE that part. I'm not sure it's a weakness so much as I wish I was comfortable skipping huge chunks of time and not needing to write 400 words about how they looked at each other the first time they made toast together in the morning.

I shall leave that to people who are much better at it than I am.

This question always fills me with panic. How can I pick? I am absolutely loving writing Sonder right now. It's a WIP that I update several times a week. It's captured my heart. Wow, that was such a sweet ending. I can't believe we're here now. and guess what YOU DID IT! you finished a whole series so huge congratulations! That's not an easy feat. I'm proud of you!

Tony being dramatic with Pocket moving out as if she is going to move to another country only to find out it's just a couple blocks away? Hilarious. Also the umbilical cord line was so so funny. I'm glad for this fresh start though! Pocket absolutely needs it.

And here's me thinking "Where the hell is, Bucky?" and well there he is! So happy to see them be in such a better place now and I'm glad they were able to go to couples counseling and truly got to work on themselves. It might be rare but it's not impossible for couples to work out even after similar events that Bucky and Pocket have fone through. And well, they've grown a bond so strong with what they went through and I truly believe they're going to be better and healthier than before. I know there's going to be more of these two but for now, I will miss the shenanigans they'll get up to. Especially now that they've got their own place to christen hahaha those poor neighbors, doesn't matter if they're a whole floor down. They're going to hear it no matter what.

What a journey this has been. As I said, I've got all my reports compiled into one document. Would you believe me if I said I've written a total of 19k words from all these essays I've sent you? Insane, I tell you. I absolutely don't regret it one single bit. I enjoyed this ride so much, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'll try and keep up with the future installments, sequels, and your other series (which has peaked my interest ngl) But with school and work, I'll try my best. I'll for sure pop in here whenever i can though. Until then, I'll see you around! Lots of Love!

Although, if people ask what my Greatest Life Accomplishment is, I'm gonna say "oh, that book I wrote." I will *not* say it was Bucky Barnes fanfic smut; just a book, lol. Actually, lemme go check that off my Bucket List rn...

I loved the idea of Tony acting like Pocket moving out was the biggest affront to him that could be made. In the original draft, Bucky and Pocket were going to be going at it on the balcony like the touch-starved rabbits they were, and then Tony was going to fly over in his Iron Man suit, but I ended up not wanting to write the awkward, lol. Maybe I'll save it for a smutshot someday, lol.

So, I wrote the epilogue a long, long time ago. Like, way before I wrote the actual ending, or even up to... like Chapter 10, I think? I confess to deliberately playing with it so you didn't know if she and Bucky had gotten back together or not, because at the time, I didn't know myself. I wasn't sure if the ending was going to be truly happy, or just hopeful for them. I had a *brief* (and I mean very, very brief) moment where I had her coming home to Steve, but that died very quickly, because Ew, Steve. I mean, seriously. I think the only reason I thought of it was that it would make people's jaws drop, lol.

Yes, their neighbors are going to hate them, lol. Most definitely. Well, at least until the middle-aged woman who lives downstairs comes up to yell at them to keep it down, but Bucky answers the door in a two-sizes too small tank top and smiles his Bucky smile at her and then she gets it, lol, and did I just come up with another idea for a smutshot? ::sigh:: TO THE GOOGLE DOC! I think I'm up to 13 now? I definitely will do my best to keep you fed with the shenanigans.

I cannot believe you've written 19k words! I have loved reading each and every single one! Focus on school, and don't worry about keeping up with what's going on over here-- it'll be here waiting for you for whenever you have the time. It's been an honor, my friend. A true honor.

I had suggested IDW lockprowl, because I saw an interesting fanart about them

It has been a looong time since I read IDW and I'll be completely honest: I had no recollection of IDW Lockdown and had to look him up to refresh my memory on his design. Do I remember his personality at all? No. Is he still a husky voiced bounty hunter in my heart? Yes

I'm gonna recycle an old concept here, and say that Prowl is actually the one that gets sparked first. Maybe they're actually a couple and this is a schmoopy alternate timeline where all is well and they're happily living together, married and content. Maybe it's like canon and they have a very on again, off again relationship.

Regardless. Prowl is the one who's sparked, and there's immediately worry of the baby growing too big for him to safely birth. This wasn't planned at all, and situations where the carrier's frame is too small can quickly turn lethal. Prowl in a slight panic immediately jumps to termination, but Lockdown suggests an alternative: a transplant. There's no way the bitty's size could be too big for him, and, well. He's not averse to the idea of being a parent with Prowl.

They caught the carrying cycle early so the transfer would be swift and painless. The earlier a baby spark is moved, the better, generally. Prowl consents to the operation, and they get scheduled right away. Thankfully, it all goes extremely well: the newspark anchors to Lockdown with barely a flicker, and his carrying protocols online to begin preparing to begin designing and constructing their sparkling's body.

Prowl is... not quite anxious, about being a sire. Worried, maybe? Weary? Bracing for impact? No, he's more like... apprehensive. Yes, that's the word he'd use to describe himself. He's apprehensive about parenthood. After all, having a baby is practically a full time job. They need a lot of care, around the clock. They're so fragile and so easily impressionable: one seemingly tiny, inconsequential mistake could follow them for the rest of their lives and shape what kind of person they could become. They need constant love and attention smd supervision, and they're both so busy. Perhaps it's pessimistic but he's approaching this with shrewd realism: as it stands now neither of them are ready to properly care for a sparkling. They're making a baby, an entire person. Someone that will someday be a fully fledged adult with a functioning psyche that they are responsible for sculpting. If they mess this up they could make the worst serial killer the world has ever seen, so they need to get their act together and be perfect parents.

He becomes... idk. Is there a word for like a groomzilla but for expectant parents? Because he's like that. Super anal about everything, down to the tiniest detail. Everything they buy from blankets to cradles to pacifiers goes through rigorous investigation, he reads instruction manuals and manufacturing info cover to cover, and he is extremely strict while choosing everything. He's already making a road map they'll need to follow to put their kid on a path to proper adulthood: they'll need to make sure they build the little one's confidence with children's groups early on, and make sure they are always readily available for the first several years or else the baby could develop attachment issues. They'll need the kid to be learning their glyphs by X age, and to be able to count by the time they're Y. He's narrowed down a list of acceptable schools for every age range, as well as researched the possibility of homeschooling just in case the public and private education institutions don't live up to his high standards. He spends a 20 hour period doing nothing but reading every recent study on sparkling psychology he can find, and he's already reserved a private room at the best hospital Cybertron has roughly around the due date.

Lockdown is honestly shellshocked. He gives me the vibes of an old fashioned, small town or perhaps country mom: as long as his kid is well fed and isn't bleeding and has a smile on their face, he knows he's doing alright. He'd definitely have a more hands off approach to parenting, letting their baby explore and make choices for himself. Isn't that enough to build confidence? Prowl rebukes him saying they're going to responsible for a living person, and they owe it to their sparkling to give them the best possible life. They're making the decision to bring them into this world, a decision that the baby has no say in, so they should at the very least give them the best possible chance to succeed and live an easy life.

To keep him busy, Lockdown let's Prowl take the reins on the majority of the prep. If he wants a fancy stroller without a certain strain of plastic in it, that's fine. If he wants to flip through hover cradle FAQs til his optics cross to find the most perfect one, so be it. It keeps him busy, and Lockdown honestly doesn't care about make or models or even color schemes. He's not too fussed about what they get, so long as baby is happy and healthy.

When the big day comes, Prowl thought he was prepared. He had everything squared away, had prepared extra energon and an overnight bag for the hospital and had transport on standby. He'd gone over his checklist every day since they enter the last few decacycles leading up to the due date.

But then Lockdown starts having contractions and he fucking blue screens. He's been running his systems so high strung and stressed that when the actual trigger happens, his processor crashes. Like actually crashes. Lockdown just grunts and presses a servo into his belly, gritting his denta and saying, "Yeah, it's time for the hospital, darlin'." and Proel gives him that standard deer in headlights look, optics flashing brighter than they ever had and something audibly pops in his helm. His lights go out and he drops like a sack of flour, smoking a tiny bit, and Lockdoen sighs. Rolls his optics, picks Prowl up under his arm, and heads to the hospital on his own.

Prowl comes to about half a megacycle later, once they've already been checked in lmfao. He's such a mess, he'd be drenched in sweat if he was human, and Lockdown nor Ratchet have ever seen him this flustered. Ratchet is delivering because Prowl insisted: there's no one better to do the job, and he'll trust no one but the autobot's CMO. Primus knows Ratchet is the only person Prowl would trust to save his life in a dire situation, he's the only one that Prowl trusts to safely deliver their sparkling.

He's pacing all over the delivery room, going over his checklist and feverishly looking through their hospital bag, so grateful that Lockdown grabbed it. He apologizes profusely for fainting like that, but his partner isn't fussed about it. At this point the contractions aren't painful, just a bit uncomfortable, and Lockdown switches between laying in the berth watching TV and doing laps around the room with his mate for several hours. It's his first sparkling, after all: it's going to take a long time before the sparkling is in the right position and his body is actually ready to deliver. It's a rather long labor, thankfully uncomplicated, but they're at the hospital for about 15 hours before they actually get to a point where they can start pushing.

Prowl, thankfully, doesn't pass out again, but has no idea what to do with himself while the medical team is setting up the stirrups and taking measurements and telling Lockdown to get ready to push. He's not sure if he should stand with his partner and hold his servo or if he should stand behind the doctors and watch firsthand as his sparkling is born. In the end, he does both, standing parallel to the berth with his left servo holding Lockdown's, the other peering over the privacy screen and watching the very moment their sparkling is born. Lockdown handles his labor like a champion, pushing out an exceptionally chunky sparkling in less than 15 minutes.

Their son is a big, round little marshmallow, black and white with a set of little green horns and huge blue optics. He's healthy and strong, latching onto his carrier's fuel lines without issue. Prowl is mesmerized by him, he's so proud in that moment, and Lockdown is on cloud nine cradling their newborn. He's so cute. So round and warm and snuggly, he never wants to put him down. Prowl's plans gave all gone out the window--yes, he even had strict plans for post-emergence bonding--but he's lowkey short circuiting. He looks so tiny being held in his carrier's arms, and there's not a coherent thought in his head while he watches his son, mystified. The first time he holds him, he nearly crashes again. It's a good thing he's sitting down 🤭 the baby happily snuggles against him, content and starting to blindly suckle at his chassis in soft, wet kisses searching for more fuel. Prowl hasn't cried a day in his life but he gets damn close in that moment, and immediately turns to Lockdown to utter a heartfelt, whispered, "Thank you, for giving us this miracle."

loneliness

the deep feeling of loneliness was something k_k could truly never get rid of.

they'd be able to distract themself, collecting new items and exploring land left unexplored. searching in run down buildings and caves.

sometimes their self repairs would help distract them. needing to go on a hunt for a replacement arm or scrap of metal.

but nothing could ever make the loneliness go away.

some nights the robot darkner would find themself sitting atop a high place, just staring into the sky.

the outskirts were run down, battered, and left in pure disarray. but the sky remained the same pitch black, with flowing green grid patterns blanketing the black cover.

the grids were k_k's sign of hope, that maybe, one day, they'd be able to reach as high as those grids, and reach higher land.

they wondered about the higher land sometimes, would people there be welcoming? would there even be people? how would they look? how would they act? would they be like the people in the vhs tape? full of energy and dancing through the streets?

...would they find someone who cares about them like those two people in the vhs do? would someone ever...

the bot's hands shifted, shakily shifting together, like pieces of a puzzle that never even has a chance to be completed.

the grid pattern was engraved on the bot's optics, even if they tore their eyes away, the grids would still be overlayed on top. they'd looked at the sky that much. hopeful.

hopeful that there's life up there.

hopeful that they will accept them.

hopeful that they'll be happy.

hopeful that someday

they won't be alone anymore.

...

k_k slid off the top of the high spot they were sitting and began their way back to the bunker they resided in.

Might be a lil bit odd trio, but I think it's possible. So how bout Fushimi, Munakata, Anna stargazing? Initially it's a day off plan for both. Then maybe Kusanagi asked for Fushimi's help someday to help look after Anna cause he has important business outside city / country. Yata currently outside country on skateboard tournament. And the other Homura boys are busy with their own thing too. Fushimi maybe apologize to Munakata in his own way cause the change of plan.

Fushimi and Munakata getting to do a bit of babysitting and looking at the stars. Maybe Munakata and Fushimi had late evening plans together, they've got a day off and Munakata thought it might be nice to take Fushimi to the planetarium. He intends it to be a surprise so Fushimi's unaware of it, probably thinking they'll just go to dinner and spend the evening in Munakata's room or something. That's when Fushimi gets a call from Kusanagi, there's an emergency and he needs someone to watch Anna for the evening. Fushimi expresses surprise that Kusanagi would call him of all people and Kusanagi admits that most everyone else is busy, Yata's out of town at a skateboarding contest, Kamamoto's on his honeymoon and most of the alphabet squad are out at the moment as well (and Kusanagi knows they'd cancel if he called and asked, but he doesn't want to if there's another option). Fushimi's a little uncomfortable about the idea and Kusanagi says he figured Fushimi's someone he can trust. Fushimi says if Kusanagi doesn't mind Anna spending the evening at Scepter 4 then it's fine, he can watch her for a while. Kusanagi thanks him and says he'll be right over.

Shortly after this Munakata shows up and tells Fushimi his plans, poor Fushimi is now a bit flustered and embarrassed because he already offered to watch Anna and like he ruined Munakata's plans. Munakata takes this in stride though, deciding that perhaps Anna would also enjoy the planetarium and the three of them can go together. Imagine them walking through the streets of Shizume together with Anna between them, holding one of Fushimi's hands and one of Munakata's. Munakata's being very polite and kind to her as well, asking if she likes looking at stars. Anna would probably also be at least somewhat aware that she's technically interrupting something and apologizes for it but Munakata assures her that company is appreciated, he hopes she does have a good time with them (and he is rather enjoying all the people who see them walking by and comment quietly about what a lovely family they are).

When they get to the planetarium Anna becomes very fascinated by the stars, I think she would like looking through the telescopes while Munakata points out all the constellations to her. Fushimi tries to act like he's bored but he's actually very caught up in it too, it's a nice clear evening and even without a telescope he can see so many stars. Munakata points out constellations to Fushimi too and Fushimi clicks his tongue and says he knows those already. Anna tugs at his sleeve and shyly asks the name of one of the constellations she can see through the telescope and soon Fushimi's crouched there right beside her pointing them out while Munakata stares down at him fondly. Anna gets distracted looking for a specific star at one point and Munakata leans back to ask if Fushimi's enjoying the trip. Fushimi admits that it wasn't a bad idea, looking away as he murmurs that they can come back alone some time to make up for this. Munakata assures him that getting to see the stars with Fushimi always pleases him and the change of plans was certainly not an issue, leaning in to give Fushimi a quick kiss.

good lrd I thought abt zero and akai eventual weird friendship and I need to lie down. feel like I always gotta impress (even tho I know yall feel the same) that I REALLY don't see their current or future relationship as romantic in the SLIGHTEST. but post cannon with them maybe working together... zero finds himself laughing more. he's more open, able to learn and make mistakes in front of ppl... and it's not the same and it will never be the same but here's someone who knows him, all of him, amuro furuya bourbon AND zero... that level of trust being a solid foundation that they can rest on. And ofc they'll still rib and antagonize each other a bit bc they are both Bastards and Little Shits but ultimately I think it could start zero towards like. Processing and actually healing and moving forward, u know? Just. Auuuuhhhhggggg zero is so important 2 me. I hope he gets to be happy.

+ like. Even when he stops working at poirot (which he probably will someday. probably)... I do desperately hope that he keeps all the ppl he met and became friends with in his life. I mean if the last chapter of ztt was anything to go by (like showing "hey this is probably what it would be like if he left now. But ACTUALLY he is not going anywhere! He's staying!") I'm reeaaaally hoping at the very least he and azusa stay friends :] bc they are!! They care abt each other a whole lot even if azusa rlly just knows the "amuro" side of him... I think azusa + zero very good friends sooo real and true even after he's like haha yeah so I'm not who I said I was ^-^' bc I do think she'd see that Yeah amuro is only one facet of him none of it was really a lie u know? Not tagging this for obvious reasons (I'm not an agent of chaos, sorry), but I'm still reluctantly 50/50.

Like, I don't see it as clearly as other people do. I still see the potential for backpedaling or even it not being the intention at all. Don't get me wrong, I can't imagine this going any other way without it being bad writing™ or at least disappointing, but we don't live in the logical world.

It might seem obvious but I also see how it might be "haha vampirism got them acting like boyfriends" jokes. Kind of no-homo expect yes-homo just not towards each other. I mean, not mean-spiritted or anything, just playing with the idea.

I remember watching it for the first time without fandom influences and going "yeah, they do make a joke about vampire crush every now and then/lol waiting to get turned is a bit like waiting for the guy you like to notice you". Then I started reading essays on tumblr and I got the brainrot.

It'd make the most sense if there was something romantic under the surface, I agree. It'd be weird if it weren't. But I totally see the possibility of it just being one-off jokes that never come to a canon relationship. It's obvious they deeply care about each other, but I wouldn't count on an explicit romance just yet. Because this other explanation is clearly what resonates the most with the casual audience (we're the 1%, regardless of how loud we are) and the actual, explicit will-they-won't-they of the show: is Gigi becoming a vampire or not?

That's the hook. Anything else might or might not be there, but that's been the hook from day one. And even if they didn't expect us to read into it, all those signs that the ship might happen can also be interpreted as jokes related to THE ACTUAL LITERAL AND TEXTUAL QUESTION THE PLOT WANTS US TO ASK.

Actors are not writers. I love them, but they're not. Most times, they know as much as we do. And writers have said some 😬 stuff in the past. Even recently, I've heard them said things in the line of "if people want to interpret it as that, it's cool, maybe someday", which most times means most likely not but we're not homophobic pieces of shit /gen. This is post s3.

So just for the record I'm not worried in the slightlest about favorite wife. My unknown girl Marwa isn't part of the reason behind this post, same way I know Freddie is not here to be the man of anyone's life. They're going to serve a purpose, provide some chuckles and character development and leave forever, one way or another. A piano will fall on that zombie's head before she can even say "I do." Trust me on this, but also know it doesn't erase everything I just said.

I'm calling it now (feel free to save the post to rub it on my face in a few months. My pessimistic ass loves being wrong), s4 won't bring anything that significantly points to canon endgame. Much like s3. It might happen just like it might not. We will have gay shit, just not the specific brand of gay shit we want. Maybe (MAYBE) if the response is overwhelmingly possitive, they'll start seriously considering it for later seasons (remember 3 and 4 were written together). But don't expect love confessions here.

Also I'm begging you, when someone asks if the ship is in fact canon, no matter how close it seems, just answer honestly as for the current state of the series. I would have watched it anyway, but I would have managed my expectations better. Now I'm stuck here with the rest of you. /hj

Written tidbits for some weird dwarf OCs under the cut so as to not spam the feed; maybe someday they'll get actual drawings and ref sheets :,)

Engineer (Beetle)

- Makes every solution to every problem Far too complex. Much to R&D's displeasure, he doesn't carry turret packages on the job. Rather, he's created his own RC drones with their own set of close combat melee weapons. The drone is able to project a hologram of a dwarf around itself so as to warn teammates where the drone is in the dark; Engie uses a headset to control the drone, at the cost of losing mobility. Yes I want a melee class how could you tell. No I don't care how impractical it is - Doesn't know what to think of Hoxxes anymore, due to current events brought up below - Is gay for Scout. His absolutely bonkers takes amused him

Scout (Dragonfly)

- A conspiracy theorist to the max, avoided by anyone beyond his crew; slightly comparable to a constantly shaking yet vicious chihuahua. He swears to core and back that DRG is only setting themselves up for a major disaster on Hoxxes, that the disruption of local life and food chains is going to come back to bite them in the ass, quite literally. This guy harbors all my little headcanons and love for Hoxxes' biosphere -...And in this timeline, he turns out to be correct! He and Engie found out in a very unfun way, and barely made it back alive. - Is gay for Engie. Someone finally believed him

Gunner (Spider)

- Will vehemently claim he's the Normal One of the group, and in the same breath will furiously defend his Oops! All Ziplines loadout (BFG, zipline, zipline, zipline, pickaxe). Always some level of grumpy until he has alcohol in hand, acts as if he's team leader (and everyone lets him), teases Scout as a hobby, yet still manages to be the most optimistic of the bunch in even the most dire of situations. He insists that the main reason he stays on this team is because they won't let him take such an R&D unapproved loadout with any "reasonable" team. While true, the amount of shit the team had gone through together forged a bond not even he can deny. - While they had been through plenty else, Gunner had been with Engie and Scout when the Conspiracy Fuckening occurred, but was in a separate part of the cave. While he could hear and feel what the other two were experiencing from so far away, he finds it difficult to believe what he was told went down

Driller (Cricket)

- Until recently, this position was frequently rotated. The vibes of the team were incredibly hard to match, much to Mission Control's torment. - In short, not long after The Incident: Scout would come across a crater in a cave harboring a starving grunt eating at very wounded yet still alive grabber. His bug-sympathizing ass deletes the grunt and successfully convinces the team to help the grabber. By some miracle they sneak it back on board, patch it up, and once they're off duty, Engie cyborgs the hell out of it. ..Only after enough time passes of them getting it to Not immediately attack them with the promise of food. It was first given general limb prosthetics, then experimented on with brain chips, all the way to building the now artificially enlightened beast a dwarf shaped mech suit. It remembered how it was found, now gladly and violently working alongside its team. Mission Control has been gaslit to high hell into believing all the weird shit this thing does is normal dwarf behavior. - As its ability to communicate and understand advances, Scout hopes they can get some insight into the ecology of Hoxxes that goes unnoticed by dwarfkind. For now though, drill go bzzzz and gun go pewpew
