Just had some random thoughts so pulled up an old blog I never used and am now deciding to write fics! I've had this stuck in my head for two days now but like- Skk as parents... enjoy <3

Wrote three sections! One with Chuuya, one with Dazai, and ofc them together. It can be read from either adopted or blood perspective, I hope? Kind of scattered, I was just goin for it guys

The SILLIEST father EVER guys.

For actual years he was fully under the impression he HATED all kids with a passion. I mean guys look at how badly he treated Aku-

Well then he had you and things changed

It's just something about you being his kid, not a subordinate or random kid on the street

He's your dedicated apologist

In fact, he encourages your mischief!

When you were younger, it was a lot harder to handle you. He even found himself on his last fuse sometimes. Usually, he left Atsushi or Yosano to deal with you

He didn't want to revert to old habits and accidentally traumatize you :(

When he can handle himself, though, he's only halfway controlling you-

He's right along with you in the heinous activities half of the time

Hiding Ranpo's candy (for as long as it lasts), misplacing Kunikida's glasses, hell you two have probably snuck into the infirmary and changed the sheets to something very colorful and very childishly wolf themed...

He's not really a mature dad, nonono. But he's doing his best

He fully supports all of your wildest interests, even tries out some of the more entertaining ones

He struggles to act excited when you're younger and all your interests are very out of his range, but as you grow older he's actually a bit intrigued by them sometimes

Best birthday gift ideas, too. He's very creative when he wants to be.

He also has way more money than he should be ALLOWED to have

For your Sweet Sixteen, he most definitely got you an obsessively large custom pinata of your favorite character...

He makes sure EVERYBODY gets you gifts, because you are his world and thus you must be everybody else's as well

He really does try to keep you out of work, and especially away from his suicide biz

Maybe HE doesnt have a reason to live, but he certainly doesnt want you picking up those thoughts, because he knows you have a real big destiny to live up to someday

I mean, what would the world be without you?

When you hit the age of 13 though, its really hard to hide anything from you

You're so scary when you grow up! And you're way too smart!!4

Did you get that from him? oops...

Now, he doesnt have any plans of living that long, but if you do grow big and strong and smart one day, and you join the ADA, he's definitely got some favoritism.

Surprisingly, Fukuzawa actually gives you your first few proper missions with him

(Because he knows Dazai will not be letting any harm come to you, he trusts Dazai with his life and he knows you trust Dazai even more)

If you have different plans for adulthood though, he's still so supportive

If you go to uni, you're going to have to show him off

Why?

Because, guys, he's a dilf

Nobody's gonna be mean to the kid with a dilf father, they all want him

He jokes about it constantly

But rest assured, stupid and immature uni kids are NOT his type, no matter how nice the ones his age look

He's got his eyes set on that waitress and at least four other men at the moment

If you go straight into the workplace instead of uni, he's going to use his connections to get you a good job early!

Fukuzawa has a good way with words and Dazai himself is a pretty good reference contact

Just tell them he's your teacher, or something

It's not like they'll know his hobbies, he's wayyyy too big a mystery for that

Overall: 7/10 dad

A little rough around the edges, but he's trying hard to improve himself for you

And he's trying hard to give you the best life he can offer

But we'll get to that later! (Just know he has plenty of men and women at his feet and they're definitely being way too nice to you because they want him so bad guys)

You're SO SO SO SO spoiled.

So bad you might even be a little bit of a brat growing up

It's fine, not toward him, he almost never says no to you so theres no need

There's absolutely no amount of money that can't be spent on you.

Luxury clothes, professionally cooked dinners, fancy rooms, home staff, the whole works

Despite all that though, he's insistent you go to a public/private school

He's not tutoring you, wont even hire one

It's not because he CAN'T, it's because he KNOWS how important it is for you to get your sense of independence early

Sure, you'll always have financial support, even if he dies (Trust fund babyyyyy)

But thats not what's actually important to your future

You need social skills, you need friends, you need and education and the taste of disappointment

Dont worry, though, he's not sending you unprepared

You're not eating school lunches unless you want to (but fuck why would you?)

He's sending you to school with top notch food every day

And clothes

And supplies

Plus, you'll have a tutor at the ready for anything you need a little extra help in

But for the most part he keeps as far as he can out of that section of your life

You friends are yours, not his

He's polite when they have sleepovers, and he's more than willing to host parties and hangouts

But he doesn't try too hard to impress them, and he doesn't talk to them unless its related to you

Because as much as he loves being around kids (a real big father he wants to adopt everybody he sees)

He doesn't want to impose on any boundaries YOU may have

As a side note though, he's still very observant of your relationships with them

If he overhears any manipulation, or shit talking (about you or not), he's not going to let it sit and exist

If it comes to it, he will contact the parents (And holy fuck they are TERRIFIED i mean imagine a publicly known MAFIA EXECUTIVE contacting you to tell your kid fucked with his ABSOLUTELY NOT GUYS)

If you're into any extracurriculars, he is ALWAYS there

Even if he's overseas on a mission, he has some lower rank attend and clears his schedule so he can watch through a call

Also guys, he practically funds your school?

Your teachers are terrified to cross you because if they do there will be NO SALARY

You complain about anything that happened? He's fixing it up in any way he can

You are his ANGEL, NOTHING will ruin your day as long as he can prevent it.

When you grow up, your options are very clear in his eyes

Either you go to uni and live independent of the mafia, or you inherit his spot when he dies

If you go for neither, he may be a bit shocked, but he'll hesitantly step back

He'll see how it goes, but he's not very confident at first

If it goes well? Fuck, great! He's always in your corner rooting for you

If it doesn't go so well, you always have him as a backup

He'll always be there to take you back with open arms and give you a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc chance. Always

If you do join the mafia, there will be no low rank experience for you

You're straight to the upper ranks. At first, you'll probably be in a position similar to Akutagawa under Dazai or how he was under Koyo

Direct subordinate, his apprentice, his prodigy

And when he dies, you're next in line for his exec spot

There's not even a worry about your skillset, he knows he's trained you well, ability or no ability.

Finally, back to the dilf topic I've mentioned at the beginning

If you go to uni, he has the same problem Dazai had, but WORSE

Fuck guys, he swears he tries to keep out of your friendships, but suddenly everyone's adults and they wont leave him alone.

It's at this point he stops hosting your events (except birthdays) and separates himself

No way is he getting involved with crazy college kids, no way

Overall: 9/10 father

He's a bit absent in your social circle, but he's your dad and thats that

He screams support from the stands and that's really the best you can ask for in a dad <3

theyre so pathetic together-

theyre all the entertainment you need growing up

constant bickering (lovingly)

they dont involve you in all that

it comes with them both being in seperate factions, but they BOTH work very hard to keep you out of the professional lives

you're their kid, they dont want you in any of the doublesided danger that could get you in

you're probably a secret to everyone except the ADA and the other mafia

And your existence is on a need-to-know basis for everybody else

Dazai is the more present figure in your life, simply because Chuuya has to be a bit more distant

It's the nature of his line of work, anyone he's seen with is a target, and he doesn't want that to be you

He will be at your schooling events still, though. He will be YELLING AND SHOUTING in the stands

Into sports? Every time theres an unfair play he will cuss the living daylights out of the ref

And they just have to let him because theres nothing they can really do about

Dazais the same way, but with less scare factor and way less vigor

After games, he's going to complain WITH you about how lame the whole thing was if you lost, how everything was judged unfairly

They may not get along the best together, but they love each other and especially love you, so they're improving for you

Read: Chuuya is making them improve for you

Dazai thinks hes the victim in all this!

But oh well, if Chuuya makes him apologize when they argue in front of you, he will

When you're all grown up, they both encourage you to find your own path

You've got the chance, thanks to them, and they dont want you involved in their little wars

It's not like you can join any sides, because who would want to be against your dad :(

So really your only choice is moving out, maybe even away-

If you really do want into their business, they both insist you join the ADA

It's safer there for you, and Chuuya would rather have to order his men to not under any circumstances EVER hurt you, than have to watch someone he can't control put you in danger

Plus, he knows Dazai will keep you in the safest position possible

Overall: 7/10 together

They're a nightmare at dinner, and Dazai is sleeping on the couch almost every night

But they adore you and every move you make, so there's no way you're feeling unloved at all

BSD fandom, I have a discussion for you:

I don't really like doing short things, but now I got all of your attention, I want to point out something which many fans overshadows:

Hirotsu could be way more important than we think.

I hope I'm not the only one curious about Hirotsu

Like it's obvious he wouldn't just decide to join a mafia in his 50s. We saw him on screen sometimes but just as a side character? Which is annoying cause, this man literally can send things and people flying away with his finger tips, he probably can do more about it (like atsushi and Akutagawa, not only using their ability in the usual way but finding good ways and improving their abilities)

He probably stayed in Mafia more, as he is in his 50s, this also can mean he get found/join a mafia in his teenage years (like Chuuya and Dazai, cause his ability probably was his times strongest and powerful ones) then stayed in Mafia side till his 50s!

No one talks about how he could see old mafia, old boss and more, to say he is older than most of the cast in BSD. Which also means he probably way more experienced and can have good connections due to his experience in mafia?

I just wanted to advertise my BSD fics for anyone who likes epics. There's the main fic, and multiple prequels. I suggest reading the main fic first, just so you sort of understand where everyone was coming from, but if you really want to read the prequels first you can. The main fic, Of Gods and Families, is mainly Soukoku, but it has Fyolai, Rimlaine, Fukamori, and Ranpoe as well.

The series is an Au and focuses on Gods and Goddesses. The Fyolai prequel Love Stories just wrapped up last Friday, and the sequel will be dropping on June 7th. A great time to catch up if you haven't read it. I answer reviews pretty quickly if there are questions. Just know that the prequels were all written AFTER the main fic, or while we were writing it, actually.

The main fic is being edited for wonky formatting and to get rid of things that no longer hold true, it's just slow going as I had surgery, then my mom had surgery, and my dad and brother are both having surgery tomorrow.

Main fic summary: Dazai Osamu is a struggling college student with three kids to take care of at home and three jobs on top of that. Nakahara Chuuya is a god in disguise in the human world, attempting to escape his past and the stigma around him in the Heavenly Realm. When the two are thrown together in a cruel twist of fate, will Chuuya let his past control him and ruin his one shot at true happiness or will he finally take back control of his destiny, even if it means following it?

awhile ago i made this au where dazai dragged kunikida into summoning demons for funsies, the demons that were summoned were chuuya and fyodor

chaos ensues because chuuya and fyodor are important demons and slowly more and more demons move into the apartment complex to try and get chuuya and fyodor back into hell

and it just. keeps getting more and more demons, plus the owner of the apartment complex is fukuzawa who totally knows there’s demons in the apartment complex but hey he’s getting more money so. who cares

now looking back at it, it sounds like a sitcom. and i love it.

takeaway is that this is a canon divergent AU with the biggest changes being that Chuuya's still a lab rat and Mori, N, and the Government overseers of the ADA all believe that teen education and social skills are important OH and most importantly

this too is yuri. Dazai and Chuuya have always been girls. always, i don't think we've been reading the same manga.

so dazai's the new kid on the block, transferring halfway through the term while chuuya's been since the beginning of the year

i totally didn't remember that the japanese school system works different so. disregard what i wrote that last post, assume dazai chuuya and kunikida are 1st years and Ranpo and Yosano have been attending and are 3rd years now

No Longer Human has an extra layer where Dazai is able to sense if she's nullified someone's ability, (and whoever's been affected by it can also sense their ability being gone)

That's what got Chuuya and Dazai's attention on the other: random encounter -> accidental physical contact where they discover each other's abilities -> mutual suspicion -> friends -> ???

That's also what makes Dazai join the ADA trio's Detectives Club.

Mori gets hemorrhoids every time Dazai mentions she joined the Detectives Club but sucks it up because HE was the one who wanted to be a responsible parent and not make her join a life of crime at a young age.

the Only reason chuuya's in school is to make sure she's able to interact with people and hold off on her own in non-combat situations when she's eventually put in the Special Division's personnel

N is still an awful child abusing pos but he's got that fake empathetic personality towards Chuuya that makes her trust him anyways. He WILL get what's coming to him

Rimbaud and Verlaine are still at large

Oh well Chuuya's personality is pretty moody and subdued but don't worry she'll get to that usual temperamental self soon enough after enough shenaniganry with Dazai and the Detectives Club.

remarkably unrelated but Oda lives. yay?

I'm in love with your "mori is functionally skk's dad" art! I keep thinking about it 24/7! Partially because it's funny, partially because it reminds me about the time my father called me an "accessory to sin" and yeah that sounds like something that would happen in this AU.

Anon I need you to understand that this is no AU this a strong belief of mine, canon Mori has some serious issues with being a parental/mentor figure for overpowered kids he won't stop and it's so bad

I was gonna put it in the tags but it got needlessly long so

Fucked up dad Mori arguments (spoilers everywhere)

(Fifteen) Mori projects himself onto Dazai and subtly teaches him manipulation techniques. He also has a soft smile when Chuuya accepts his vision of leadership and pledges his loyalty to him.

(Storm Bringer) Accompanies Chuuya and sits next to him during the Flags' funeral. Sounded pleased when Chuuya said the PM was his family now. Chuuya's actual dad was also said to be a military doctor, which when combined with his mom and Kouyou also being very similar, should definitely be an intentional parallel.

(Dark Era) Mori wanted to teach Dazai another lesson in leadership on "necessary sacrifices" and "personal attachments vs decision making", it dramatically backfired, he is still disappointed to this day.

(Yosano backstory) Was protective of this little girl surrounded by army men, yet prioritized his grand plan to win the war over her emotional well-being.

[ ^ hey look how similar the last two points are (Mori doesn't learn shit) ]

(BEAST) When removed from the mafia, took over a shitty orphanage and made it good + offered emotional support to a lost teenager by LITERALLY offering to be his dad (+expressed his past will to save another lost teenager)

(also BEAST) Elise could be an adult, and yet she's always a child. That man is trying to fill in a hole in his life and when he got the orphanage he didn't need to do so anymore.

(Guild arc) Under the disguise of the local physician, he redirected Atsushi and taugh him one of his little lessons basically unprompted and Atsushi's impression of him as a mentor was very positive.

ANYWAY Mori has issues because he stuck himself between wanting to mentor the younger generation to help them grow into their potential and throwing everyone's emotions and desires (including his own) out the window in favour of the """optimal solution"""

15! Chuuya x chess player! fem! reader - HIGHSCHOOL AU

A/N: hi guys ik i got requests but i found this idea on tiktok and thought it was so cute so apologies <3 content: pre-relationship, highschool au, idiots in love?, smart! reader, reader sucks at sports, soccer player! chuuya, no intimacy, chess player! reader, i suck at chess so bear w me, chuuyas based off daniel padilla in shes dating the gangster, this sucks and i hate it

Nakahara Chuuya wasn't a fan of strategic games,

even though he got straight As in almost every class, Chuuya hated any and every activity that required him to think and use his brain effectively. A memory he particularly remembered was losing over and over in his famous arcade game; Tekken - and to Osamu? The weird guy he found himself begrudgingly calling him a best friend. The short, competitive ginger boy that loved soccer religiously, hated using his brain; he loved thinking with his legs, or mouth. And he enjoyed it that way.

Focusing on tests and studying wasn't at all foreign to you; sometimes you admit, you loved the academic validation - but the habit just came from your parents pushing you further and further to be able to call themselves stable. An activity you particularly enjoyed was chess, a game with simple rules; ran by the crown of a checkered board. You love searching for possibilites, and using that against someone for the sweet feeling of victory. Chess provided endless possibilites of a win, a stretch in the brain that you felt as if nobody else had - a challenge that wallowed in the sense of logic.

So seeing your classmate, Chuuya Nakahara harshly drop his bag off his shoulders and messily take a seat infront of you in the Chess club's room, was indeed very foreign to you.

Your eyes flited towards his sharp ones; a piercing gaze followed by the uproar of azure gems that bored into the hard wooden table seperating you two. The boy was not the tallest, but he was fairly defined with his body and was well-affiliated with sports such as taekwondo. His hair was messily tied into a low ponytail, swooped to the side. He had silky copper locks with pretty bangs that cascaded his appealing face; sweat was mixed within the soft roots of his hair from being in the sun all day; and from the sun peeking through the windows of the classroom, you could see light bits of freckles spread out across his face.

Nakahara Chuuya wasn't popular, not at all to you; you admit, the boy infront of you would be insanely attractive if he had won the genetic lottery regarding height. However, many girls in the school would agree; Nakahara Chuuya was still attractive.

"Do you need anything?" you ask with a cocked brow, shifting around as you rearrange the pieces on your chess board, providing a clean start if he were to start a match. The redhead scratched his temple, his hands were well defined and inherently soft-looking; his pale skin matched right up to his features. "Hey, [Y/N], right?" he asks, staring at you, since the boy's medium hair was unusally thrown into a ponytail, your eyes wandered to his red jersey and matching basketball shorts; defined arms and shoulders peeking out. "Wanna play a match? Just askin'."

"Hmph," you almost cackle in amusement, this dumbass really didn't know what he was getting himself into. You didn't like to call yourself a nerd, but you were definitely the best player in chess in the school. "yeah, sure." you slightly push the board towards the redhead, prepared for by far the easiest game of your life.

Right, easiest.

You could visit and investigate the seven wonder's of the world and the answer to your mystery would be far from solved. Chuuya strikingly muttered "Checkmate," as your knitted brows fell into shocked ones. "Damn," you curse under your breath, the ginger placed a palm under his cheek, a little bit confused that he won too. The boy's sweaty hair dried from the golden sunlight complimenting his dazzling features in the worst timing possible - the sweatband wrapped around his head lifted his ginger bangs slightly.

"Well," the redhead gets up begrudgingly, a proud smile present on his face, leaving you hanging. "I gotta go," he quips happily. "This was really fun." Chuuya smiles, patting your shoulder affectionately as he passes by you to leave. What the fuck?

If word got out that Nakahara Chuuya, beat you fair and square in a chess match, your reputation as a smart kid would be maybe a little tainted. Fret not, you would ask for a rematch with the boy, this time sure you would win. His victory made you a little angry towards him; sometimes wishing he'd get hit with a soccer ball, or stuck in a basketball hoop. But the antagonistic view you had on the ginger changed, as you saw him talking with the gym coach.

"Oh yeah - I got to play a chess match with [Y/N]." The boy added, placing his hands in the pockets of his school uniform, your gym coach's eyebrows raised in curiosity. "Ah, [Y/N]?" The relationship of physical education and you were not on the best terms, so seeing the school's coach talking casually with the shorter boy was definitely unusual. Chuuya softly kicked a rock on the ground, his hair almost perfectly framing his face. "Mhm," he mutters, then turning back to look at your teacher. "So who won?"

A gaping feeling in your chest arose as the words came out of your coach's mouth - if a teacher or two finds out you got wrecked by the athletic delinquent, you would for sure be done for, right? The redhead chuckles and sctratches the side of his temple, seething his teeth as you wait in anticipation,

"She did."

after reading the sun and the star my semi-dormant pjo obsession has risen and is infesting my brain side by side with bsd. so.

dazai is a child of athena, chuuya a child of ares

dazai's team beat chuuya's during capture the flag once and chuuya went aight bet. and kicked dazai's ass during the next capture the flag. his team still lost but at least he got an excuse to fight that annoying know-it-all bandaged and beautiful son of athena

the rest is history

the akutagawa sibilings are children of hades. goth mfs

now imagine them having the same storyline as the di angelo sibilings... now in this au you can see why akutagawa talks like he belongs to another age

gin would consider joining the hunters of artemis, but in the end they end up refusing to not leave their brother alone. plus, being immortal would mean seeing him and all of their loved ones die, and gin has had enough of her loved ones dying

if skk is percabeth, shinskk is solangelo

does atsushi fit the standards for a child of apollo? idk but i can't think of another godly parent for him so be it!

unlike will solace, healing is not atsushi's strongest task but he still spends a lot of time helping in the infirmary

and that's where he meets ryūnosuke

unlike solangelo the initial hostility is NOT one sided. ryū behaves like a bitch? atsushi gets bitchy right back.

cue to atsushi looking extremely pissed while bandaging ryū's arm and them muttering insults at each other

ryūnosuke swears he hates that fucking failed doctor and atsushi would almost believe him if it wasn't for the amount of times ryūnosuke has tried sacrificing himself to save him during their quests

also in this au rashomon is a hellhound like mrs. o'learly. she's a sweet doggo that devours space and souls

or she's one of ryū's cocoa puffs? (does this count as a tsats spoiler taken out of context?)

you know that one scene in tsats where nico kisses the back of will's neck and says "i'm proud of you"? now picture that as atsushi to ryūnosuke. yeah.

also atsushi has plague powers bc i say so

yosano is the real will here: overworked healers who feel extremely guilty for every patient that died under their watch to the point of considering themselves murderers

she runs that infirmary like it's the navy

she's also a hell of a fighter, both with bows and arrows and with her own fists

bff with ranpo, who's the oracle!

they gossip abt apollo (boyfail) and complain abt their respective fundamental but hella hard roles at chb

also besties w/ chuuya

also hear me out on kousano in this au... yosano falls helplessly in love with hunter of artemis!kouyou. kouyou tries to convince herself that she's not falling for that bossy and selfless and brave doctor because she has an oath to keep and she couldn't let love knock at her door again. so everytime the hunters come to chb kouyou keeps yosano company and it's all longing looks and painful yearning. yosano wishes she could convince the redhead to break the oath and stay.

but she won't. i <3 kousano angst

moving onto happier lesbians. gin loves wandering by themselves in the forest or by the lake. people know them as the demigod who just fucks off to take a stroll in the woods and disappear there for an indefinite amount of time

and that's how she meets an awkward, stubborn but lovely dryad: you guessed it, it's higuchi!

gin was having a bad day and kicked a tree because they were just so angry— anger turned to guilt when the tree fucking yelped

gin immediately apologized and higuchi asked them what was bothering them. gin never loved to talk, so they were very surprised by themselves when they started rambling about their problems to a dryad they just accidentally hurt

from that day gin began spending even more time in the forest

sometimes they bring higuchi to camp

it isn't unusual for dryads to wander around camp, but higuchi usually kept on her own before meeting gin

higuchi helps gin to open up about their emotions and lower their walls, gin helps higuchi to make friends and to value and love herself

chuuya's fatal flaw is loyalty, dazai's is pride, ryūnosuke's is holding grudges, atushi's is holding too tight onto the past, gin's is also loyalty, yosano's is guilt

tachihara is a child of hermes. parallels between two regretful traitors el oh el

except that luke fucking sucks while tachihara has my heart

his best friend is sigma from the aphrodite cabin. sigma cannot fucking stand him

nikolai is actually the reason why sigma has split colored hair. it used to be fully white but one day nikolai went heyyy girlie look at this new hair trick my sibiling taught me :] and sigma ended up actually loving the look? so they kept it

the dryads love sigma and he spends a lot of time with them. they braid flowers in each other's hair and chill

nikolai on the other hand somehow befriended the arpies

fyodor is a child of nemesis. edgelord

jouno is a child of hermes, the eldest in the cabin

half of the camp wants him, the other half wants him gone

teruko is a child of hebe, the goddess of youth!!!!

she's ones of the oldest campers along with jouno, but she prefers to keep her child form for unknown reasons

Eight minutes to midnight.

And he gets this?

A cryptic ominous and yet terrifying message from his beloved.

He contemplates what he should do.Does he let you sleep it off or does he go to you?

He decides it’s too risky to let the former happen so he settles on the latter. He goes to you. He goes to you in the dead of night.

Chuuya Nakahara was by no means a stranger to the rather tricky art of climbing into someone’s room via their window,but when in haste anyone would mess up.

Nevertheless he climbed up,landed on your balcony and knocked three times.paused and then knocked twice.it was the little indicator the two of you had decided on to make sure you knew it was him and not some stranger.

He could see you from his place on the balcony.

you were bent over your phone,typing furiously,your feet crossed and on your bed.

You didnt hear him.

So he shoots you a text,

surely you’ll see it?

A simple

“Im here”

Your head shoots up and you dart to your window,pulling the almost transparent curtains back,you open the window-esque door and he steps right in. Sure he wasnt the biggest guy,but he was nimble and quick oh his feet.packing a punch capable of knocking out someone twice,no, thrice! His size. with an attitude that scared off bullies and a sense of charisma that could charm anyone,he was perfect.

But most importantly,he made you feel safe.

at home.

Something even your own house failed to do.

He opens his arms and you slowly walk into them,your hands wrapping themselves around his slender torso and holding onto him with a death grip.

As he began to rub your back and sway just a little you began to cry.

Tears streamed down your face and stained his hoodie but he didnt care. His shirt could be washed,cleaned or even replaced.But not you. Never you.

And when the sniffling crying and shaking lessened,he pulled away a little and looked at your face before slowly lowering both you and himself to the fuzzy blue carpet under your feet.

When he looked at your face he was met with puffy eyes a leaky nose and a sight which broke his heart.

He first felt anger then fear then concern as he tried to figure out what to do.

He wanted to end whoever did this but he needed you to be okay first.

For a senior in high school,he acted more like an adult than anyone you knew;other than your classmate kunikida,that is.

He took the end of his hoodie sleeve,made a little sweater paw and wiped your tears away,reaching into his pocket and pulling out his emergency tissues for your nose.

And as he was finishing up, he looked at you,with the softest gentlest look in his eyes,asking, “what happened y/n?”

You sighed heavily at that.

“I wanna go home…”

This statement took him by surprise!

But You were already in your home? Where else could there be?

If you could name a place,he made an internal decision to take you there where ever it may be,right then and there.

He could deal with your parents later,they both loved and trusted him like their own so it’d be a breeze.just as long as you were okay.

“But how-“

“You”

“Oh”

You held him closer at that,as if you believed he would simply vanish into thin air.

He too held you close,giving you a kiss on the forehead and urging you to go ahead and talk about it if you wished to.

“Its just that,im sick of everything…of home of school,of life,of needing to be happy! I dont want it anymore!i want peace i want calm I want home. Youre all I have only you and what if you get tired of me i wont have a home again.ill be alone alone alone alone alone alone alo-“

He listened to you with concern and then his hands went to your shoulders.

“Hey! Hey! Im not going anywhere and youre not going to be alone not on my watch!and definitely not off my watch!”

You sniffed at that.

“Promise?” “Please?”

And his only reply was to nod,the sincerest nod in existence.

“Thank you….”

You said as you brought your head back to his chest.

“Anytime love…do you wanna talk about it?”

“No….not right now….please ?”

“Sure,im here for whenever you need me.what can i do?”

“Please stay…i cant be-be alone….please?”

“Mhmm dont worry…m’not goin anywhere..”

“Thank you…”

“Always”

And so you sat there,just the two of you in a dark room past midnight.

He rocked you,hummming softly and when he realized you’d fallen asleep,he lay you down gently on your bed and places your blanket and favorite plushy over and beside you.

Be waits thirty minutes more and when he’s totally sure you’re out like a light,he leaves.

When you wake up you vaguely remember the previous nights proceedings and when he asks you if you’re okay,you nod rather embarrassed. He looks at you and gives you a quick peck before you both go hand in hand to your next class.
