there are also recent analyses / forensics (including from western sources and from palestinian or SWANA sources) of the hospital air strike saying that it WAS israel who did it; of course there is media claiming all sorts of things. CNN and other western sources have uncritically repeated israeli lies for literal decades—that’s not claiming “jews are controlling the media;” that’s a fact that the west has a vested interest in maintaining Israel as a settler colonial state, and the West — mainly evangelical christians & other christians ! — will regurgitate anything to further that agenda. see: fabricating fake “hamas battle plans” that were pristine and uncrumpled and full of google translated arabic, lying in 2022 abt the US citizen /they killed/ and blaming it on palestinians etc… and western media, like CNN has been uncritically regurgitating everything the IDF has said for the past two weeks, regurgitating racist ideas — including things that they later had to retract BECAUSE even their sources couldn’t confirm them as true! but we’re supposed to trust them? no fucking rocket or shrapnel that we have EVER seen from hamas is capable of leveling a building and causing so much death/destruction.

hananya naftali’s (israel’s “official influencer”) stated that israel did the hospital strike lmao, deleted the tweet, and said it was an islamic jihad. israel’s arabic idf facebook page said they bombed the hospital. THEN they decided to change the story and used old videos with the wrong time stamp to “prove” it was a rocket. then edited that video out of their posts claiming it was hamas. but yeah sure it wasn’t them who did it.

like. israel spent days saying “we’re going to bomb a hospital. if you’re in there get out. we’re going to do it. well bomb more of them.” the director of the hospital said that israel told them multiple times they were going to do it. WHO confirmed the hospital was ordered by the IDF to evacuate.

i don’t know about you, but if somebody changes their story about bombing a hospital multiple times, edits their social media posts, brags about doing it on other accounts in different languages, after saying they’ll do it over and over again, i think that they actually did it.

but yeah, they didn’t do it.

My anon in Christ, even pro-Palestinian sources are saying it probably wasn't intentional and it probably was a missile that originated in Gaza. Which is what CNN was directly quoting in the article I mentioned.

CNN also mentioned that both Israel and PIJ were firing missiles and rockets nearby and that it was probably either a misfire or from Israel's Iron Dome shooting down a PIJ rocket (which then landed at the hospital and caught fuel on fire and detonated) (which is what the linked article says). That is what Palestine has been saying probably happened. It's not being reported as an intentional bombing because both sides are saying it probably wasn't an intentional bombing.

but besides tail specifically, there is actually something i want to talk about here in regards to how this particular take smacks of an inability to understand basic critical and media analysis theory.

when you say that something shouldn't be enjoyed or engaged with, you imply that there is a should; a 'correct' way to engage or interpret a work. and there is NO correct way to interpret art. a massive problem with social media is that there is a hegemony on moralistic opinions. you have to have a 'good' opinion, you have to like the right things and hate the right things and why. because reasons. because some anonymous icon on the bird app said it was male gazy and therefore that apparently means it's bad. and yea i'm gonna sound like a fucking crank about this but you need to do your own readings. the male gaze is not a code of ethics, it is a theory of media analysis. and theories are tools that are meant to help you better understand the life you live and the ways that you engage with the world. YOU are the one that uses the tool, that makes the choice on when and how and where you use that tool, and also if you take into account the information that that tool provides. it's all about the nuance. unfortunate that the internet went and shot it in the back.

hi guys, it’s currently 1 am and i remembered that i used to be on tumblr making a lot of stories and i kinda js quit one day without any explanation so here it is. first off, i wanna start by saying i’m kibble, i accidentally deleted my old email that was attached to my main kibble account and i was planning to get back into it but i cant :/. second, im also edible_tidpods, but that account has been deleted so that doesn’t really matter anymore.

the main reason i quit writing for fanfics was because i felt unmotivated w everything i was doing at the time. i was severely depressed and i didn’t do much. i didn’t want to write stories anymore even tho i loved doing it so much. another reason was because the cod and redacted asmr fandoms were so toxic to me, not only on tumblr but also on insta and tiktok, i took that as a big sign to leave, even tho i didn’t want to. but as of rn im not apart of those fandoms anymore. i had originally intended to come back to my main kibble account and continue my stories but i still don’t want to and im scared to face more backlash for some of the content i put out.

(yes, those were real dms i got on insta, unfortunately that insta account was also linked to my old email so i don’t have access to it since i signed out of it) i had an instagram account mainly abt cod were i watched videos and contributed to the fandom, and im almost positive i never spoke abt that account on here and i don’t know how ppl figured out it was me. it was weird.

i also wanted to give a big apology to anyone i had offended when i wrote stories w sexual assault linked to them. i was 16 at the time of writing one of my most popular stories that includes sexual assault and it was smth that was requested through a friend that i made even though i knew it was wrong. i’m sorry to anyone i had offended and i never will do it again

There’s a sad lack of fanfic and art for famous musician Semi, which is a tragedy, and I can’t really write or draw for shit so I can’t help BUT I can write headcanons for it!! This will also be partially centered around Semishira

- i imagine his general sound would be somewhere in between Bear Ghost and Will Wood and The Tapeworms vibes

- His fan base was originally composed of alt/punk people but a lot of other people got into it after he got more popular

- He’s openly bi, but he does not ever say that he’s taken, only that he’s not looking for a partner. (Mainly bc Shirabu does not want to be in the spotlight)

- Part of the reason he blew up was because of an offhand remark Ushijima made regarding a good friend of his who made music in an interview. Naturally, Ushijima fans looked into it and found Semi Eita, and decided that his music slapped

- His fans don’t realize that the reason Ushijima and him were so close was bc they played volleyball together at first, but when they did, they had a field day with it. They found old recordings of shiratorizawa games and simped over his serves

- Semi likes his fans, but is not scared to scold them if they do things like make fun of someone for not liking him, or harass other celebrities who’ve said rude things abt him

- Another big reason he got popular was a clip that got passed around of him calling out an interviewer on a homophobic comment they made toward a famous lesbian (idk take your pick so long as it’s not Ellen DeGeneres)

- He’s known to be outspoken abt human rights and social injustices, which gets him a lot of backlash from certain media outlets

- Semi has two Twitter accounts, one public and the other private. One day he accidentally posted something abt Shirabu that was meant to go on his private account to his public one, which obviously did not go well. It did not say Shirabu’s name, but it did refer to him as Semi’s boyfriend so despite Semi deleting the post one minute after he made it once he realized his mistake, the world knew he was not single

- His fans went crazy with this information, trying to find out who his boyfriend was. The first places they looked was his band, but those theories were quickly dispelled as everyone else was already openly taken.

- Shiratorizawa was the next place Semi’s fans looked, and they rewatched the shiratorizawa tapes and noticed that he was particularly close with Tendou and had weird tension with Shirabu.

- Shirabu’s social media presence was a resounding zero, so fans weren’t really able to get any more information on him other than his name and age, but Tendou was very outspoken on his -previously unpopular- Twitter abt his friendship with Eita so theories of them dating were the most popular

- Eventually Semi made a statement along the lines of, “Yes, I’m dating someone. I did not tell you bc we want our relationship to be private. Respect that.”

- TenSemi theories were going strong until Ushijima publicly came out and introduced Tendou as his partner. Fans decided to revisit the semishira theory, and were somehow able to find an old video of Shirabu complaining abt medschool while tucked under one of Semi’s arms.

- Semi did not appreciate his fans’ intruding into his personal life, and especially did not appreciate the frequent questions he would get from interviewers abt his mystery boyfriend

- After a while, rumors died down and everyone besides hardcore fans dropped it, until a photo of Semi and Shirabu holding hands at someone’s wedding is leaked (take your pick of whose wedding it is)

- The questions from fans and interviewers come back twice as strong, and eventually Shirabu gives Semi permission to tell people that they are together bc it’s a hassle for both of them to hide it at this point

- Semi decides that the best way to approach this is a post on Twitter, so he just says, “Kenjirou and I are together, stop asking about it.” Along with a picture of Semi kissing Shirabu’s forehead

i honestly don't know what i would recommend i guess it really depends on how you feel abt ur art, personally i really like when blogs are very eclectic and post fanart, original art, photos, animation, etc, you kinda fall in love more with the artist rather than just their pieces of a certain show anime manga etc, which isn't bad ofcrs but it's only my opinion, both is good is what i'm saying!

yeeee lys does have a buncha knives which are mostly for showing off [they also have a gun] also be of this I drew them based on a screenshot from thedisney snow white movie.. but i drew it on my laptop so the colors are all wonky [my laptop does NOT have a good quality screen Imao] as are the lines bc I've never quite got the hang of using a tablet 

this is lys as they look during that part of the story, later they get that arm broken and have to wear the more decorative one instead [and that becomes relevant later :3] also they store their knives In the prosthetic arm. fun fact their hair is perpetually kind of badly cut because they used to be right-handed and some things are not easy to learn to do with either your nondominant hand Or a prosthetic, especially if you don't do the things very often, and cutting your own hair is one of those. plus they'd never cut their own hair before the Incident. [the incident in which they got both disowned by their family and separated from sterling, basically things went all kinds of shitty at once :P]

also yeha heron is just. the most bastard. manipulative as shit. gaslights the fuck out of sterling pretty much ever since they joined the bird cult. so instead the main antagonist is Swan! she was pretty much raised by his parents but since she wasn't actually their kid she couldn't inherit all their shit [idr what I have or haven't previously said abt the bird cult Imao but it started as just a rather underhanded way for one particular noble family to get more power, and then got a bit more shitty once Heron came to be in control of it.] so when he gets his ass kicked in she takes the opportunity to fill the power vacuum, as she'd already been helping him with things but she has Bigger Plans... 

also yess the girl lysander almost killed is indeed important! her name is Paz and she's a detective! [she is like eighteenish but that's still considered a child in this setting. and she just Is Baby.] someone wanted her dead be she'd exposed their attempt to frame someone else for murder. [also yes this is scifi-flavored-fantasy yes there are detectives. it was originally someone's attempt to bring some order to the chaos that shit is sinking into, but they generally don't get a lot Done on account of, well, stuff like that.] and, unrelated to that incident, she has been mainly working on one particular string of murders.... that’s right she is trying to find things out about none other than Shrike. she’s looking for their real identity but hasn’t found anything conclusive there, but instead she has discovered something that, for her, puts Everything about them in a different perspective...
