i've been really onto something with the sporadic 10-minute writing sprints honestly. since i started doing them a week and a half ago my piece is already 7k and there have been more days where i've written nothing at all than i thought would get me to 7k. turns out age-old writing tactics actually work...who'd've thunk

#now is that 7k amazing? no but i'm heartily embracing the ugly first draft #like 1) that post about how writing is the process of thinking not the other way around #and 2) repetitive practice makes perfect. insert story about pottery class where half were graded on quality and half on quantity #and the ones graded on quantity made better quality items than the ones who spent forever agonizing over 1 item's quality #so yeah.....sometimes the writing is sporadic or deeply lacking in description but sometimes i'll spend the first 10 mins or so #going back JUST 3 or 4 paragraphs and fleshing out what feels rushed and thin before i forge ahead #like realizing i entirely forgot to describe what characters look like LMAO bc in my mind i know....#anyway its been fun i wanna get this piece to 60k/finished by end of oct and i think i can do it if i just stick w the writing sprints #genuinely like. i used to think about Being An Author being My Job and being like thats so stupid bc i cant make myself #sit and write for 3 or 4 hours a day #well no stupid of course you can't write for 4 hours in a row (unless its wsnxx madness moments) but you can write for 4 hours in #15-minute portions whilw doing other productive things between.....smh at myself for being this dumb for this long. but im smart now. so.#t

Disclaimer before I start: I’m no professional astrologer so don’t come for me, mkayyy? MWAH 💋

♡ 𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒, more specifically those with Gemini placements in their personal planets loveeeee playing around with their voice a lot. Just utilizing their voice to be a silly goobert. Like making voice impressions or funny sound effects is very natural for them. Which is why I think so many Geminis are comedians, artists and actors. Whenever I see someone who makes goofy sounds or is very into voice acting I instantly know they must be a Gemini/have heavy Mercury placements and up until now i was 100% correct each time lmao. (As someone who has Gemini placements myself: I love to make funny voices or impressions, sometimes I do it without realizing lol)

♥︎ Which actually brings my to my second point on 𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 but those that are musicians; I noticed they frequently love to play around with different genres of music and different styles of singing/rapping in general, even all in one song simultaneously. Good example would probably be Kanye West or Kendrick Lamar. Their music and style tends to be very versatile and they tend to incorporate even very random notes/effects/sounds to it as well.

♡ Oh my goodness, all the 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐑𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐒 I’ve ever known have this damn thing where if you don’t ask them specifically for what you wanna know, they’ll never even tell you it. I had a friend with a full blown Libra stellium that I finally caught up with after months of no contact and this girl only told me about her having a girlfriend and getting into a car accident only 3 days later!? That was thanks to me for randomly mentioning romance and cars, otherwise she wouldn’t have even shared it. So if you wanna hear a Libra disclose something specific with you, just be direct with it.

♥︎ I haven’t met an 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍 that wasn’t impulsive and would jump from one relationship/project into another and then complain about how everything turns out a mess (but then get back up and repeat the cycle again smh).

♡ 𝟏𝟐 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐒 and their hidden enemies is actually very fukkin real. I got to witness it closely for the first time and oh boi am I shook lol. My boyfriend has a 12H moon and I’ve witness multiple times strangers come up to us, start a conversation and then just become insanely rude to him outta absolutely nowhere as if they been having beef with him since kindergarten?! Randoms tend to get mad or hostile so easily at him even if he doesn’t say anything bad... it’s so weird.

♥︎ Every person with an 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 in their big 3 has this feistiness to them. Even when they’re super sweet and chill type of Aries I still notice that they have moments where they’re quite direct or don’t really care about what you think. They’re gonna say what they wanna say one way or another and it’s honestly so natural to them, I don’t think they even notice. Even the quiet Aries in my life have this demeanor to them that you just don’t fuck with because they’ll bite back at some point.

♡ In my experience, every 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒 that I’ve ever known always expressed their appreciation and affection in letters/poems/metaphors very frequently. Very romantic, very abstract, Shakespeare who? Every time they’d send a whole ass paragraph like 🥀”you are like a rose that fell in this chaotic ocean and turned it into a tranquil lake” 🍂 just to describe my eyes or something. I don’t think my Aquarius moon is cut for such stuff lmao, it makes me cringe a bit but I do appreciate it! Although every Pisces mars guy I ever knew had additional water placements in their big 3 (like Cancer sun or a Pisces moon) which probably only doubled that sentimentality they had.

♥︎ 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 and their anger issues is something and that something is very real... That’s it, that’s the Tweet lol

♡ Idk what it is about 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍 men but they always make me wanna take care of them and like baby them when they’re in their feels and retract and act like they aren’t on the verge of tears... Make me wanna go and cuddle them lol. Especially Cancer moons for wtv reason really soften my Aqua moon when I’m around without them even doing/saying anything.

I’ve met so many Libras that on the outside look like they’re having a blast but when you actually get to know them you see that their house burned down, their granny died, they almost choked to death twice last week and their partner broke up with them for 15th time that day and now they’re homeless... And you’re like damn bro, I’d literally never guess. They really know how to mask everything, put up a great front for others and do it insanely convincingly. You literally would never guess what that Libra is actually going thru, it’s probably worse than you can image. Please check up on your Libra friends and Libras - it’s ok to ask for helpppp. You guys deserve it <3

♡ 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐔𝐒 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 are one of the funniest mothafukers everrrrr, they always make me laugh so much! Double points if they have Gemini or other Fire placements with it. Just hilarious individuals.

♥︎ 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐈𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐒 are actually pretty chill people, you won’t see them angry often (but they make sure you know when they do). Usually our anger and passion is more so hidden and works backstage. Compared to 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐒 that are loud with it and don’t hold back.

you scowled, water dripping down your hair and creating a small puddle on the floor. shivering, as you paid the person at the front desk.

michael was also in the same boat as you, clearly annoyed as he strung out the rain from his jacket.

"think you could pay faster? I'm not getting sick today," michael scoffed.

"hey, dipshit, tell that to her," you pointed at the woman taking her time looking for a key to give you.

he rolled his eyes, and as soon as the lady held the key out, he snatched it and made his way to the hallway of rooms.

you thanked the attendant and rushed after him.

michael hurridly unlocked the door and swung it open, only to stand there in confusion.

"what's wrong?" you asked, and then you saw it once you made it to the door.

"oh, for fucks sake."

the two of you had took hot showers, but only after arguing who would go first. you had decided you were just going to take the clothes that the hotel had graciously offered you and make a break for the bathroom.

he definitely was pouting by the time you came back, jacket and shirt discarded.

you jumped in surprise at him being shirtless and turned around.

"hurry up and get into the shower," you tried to not look at him as you hung your wet clothes in the closet.

he laughed and only when you heard the door shut did you let out a breath of relief and sink onto the bed.

"man, he really does work out," you said to yourself.

"I heard that!" michael called from the shower.

"heard what?" you yelled back, embarrassed.

he needs to stop laughing.

"I can sleep on the floor," he offered as the two of you sat on opposite sides of the bed.

"as much as I hate you, I'm pretty sure this floor is super dirty." you flung you legs onto the bed, laying down. "we'll just put a pillow in-between us."

"why? can't handle yourself?" he smirked.

you raised an eyebrow. "you wish. I couldn't handle myself when I was with your dad."

you let out a snicker as his eyes widened.

"maybe you should be the one to sleep on the floor." michael grabbed the blanket and pulled it over himself.

"I'll think about it," you said as you took the blanket from him.

he whined and tried taking it back.

"turn off the lights first, and I'll let you have it back." no you weren't.

he furrowed his eyebrows and got up, walking over to the light switch like a kid putting back something they really wanted.

the room turned dark, and michael jumped onto the bed.

"now give me the blanket."

"never," you rolled yourself up in the blanket so he couldn't take it from you.

"I will personally throw you on you the floor," he threatened.

"I bet you-" you let out a screech as michael grabbed onto you and began unrolling you.

"THIS IS MY BLANKET!" you tried getting away from him.

"psh, we both paid for this room. it's whoever keeps it." he kept unraveling the blanket.

you began thrashing around until michael crawled on top of you and straddle you so you wouldn't be able to stop him.

"this is going to be my blanket."

you tried to stop him, but he successfully managed to get the sheet and cheered.

and that's when the two of you noticed the position you were in.

"oh shit, my bad," he scrambled off of you as you felt your face heat up.

"it's alright," you responded, flipping over to look at the wall, back to him.

the next few minutes were silent until michael threw a bit of the blanket onto you, scooting closer.

"you looked cold," he mumbled.

"thanks," you turned over to face him. you didn't realize how close he was. your lips were almost touching, and you could see a few freckles dotting his cheeks.

"think you need that pillow now?" he teased.

you hmmphed, "I think we both know what's about to happen. just kiss me already."

he acted like he was thinking about it.

"and why should I?"

instead of answering him, you closed your eyes and pressed your lips against his for a second before turning back around.

"because now I won't kiss you for longer than that."

"hey, I'm sorryyyy," he shook you, but you were fake snoring.

"pleaseeee," he begged.

you looked towards him to see him giving you puppy dog eyes.

"who could say no to that?"

Hi possum anon! As someone with ADHD, I can totally do this for ya!

I’m thinking that Duncan being Duncan, he 100% clowns you for being so spacey and distracted so easily

if you pop off on him though, you’ll earn some of his respect and he’ll lay off on teasing you so much

if you end up crying or getting upset about it, at first he just calls you a crybaby, but once he realizes that you can’t actually help the way you act, he feels bad. He probably doesn’t outright say “I’m sorry,” but he’ll definitely show you he’s sorry in his own ways. i.e. throwing challenges for you if you’re on opposite teams, giving you parts of his reward(s) if his team wins, carving you something from a piece of wood, etc.

this doesn’t mean he completely stops teasing you though

definitely distracts you on purpose if you’re on opposite teams

he doesn’t even realize he starts liking you until the guys start making fun of him for it

one time Heather yelled at you for talking so much and of course he stands up for you, but after that, he notices you try not to talk as much. This probably only makes you even more fidgety though

he pulls you aside at the end of the day when everyone is off doing their own thing and reassures you that you talk just the perfect amount. He also tells you that you have a nice voice but if you tell anyone he said that, he’ll have to kill you. Definitely lets you ramble and rant to him about literally anything. He’d much rather listen than speak

if you’re impulsive, he’ll definitely keep you in check. Then again...he’s pretty impulsive himself...sigh...you two get into trouble a lot

if there’s ever any memory challenges, he definitely cheats to help you if you want it. Yes he’d risk winning just for you shh

overall, he doesn’t mind that you have ADHD and eventually comes to find it quite endearing <3

Bi Buck and the internet interneting

I'm absolutely fucking living for the positive male bisexual representation we've been getting in media. Three masc male bis in the past year (and some change) is fucking amazing. Not only are they coming into their sexualities, their growth and development is detailed and explicit.

Furthermore, we have them having their sexual awakenings at different phases in their lives. There's no timetable on figuring out your sexuality. Personally, I as already in my late-20s/early thirties when I realized that yes my aesthetic appreciation for women was more than just aesthetic appreciation. We have Nick Nelson falling in love with his friend in high school, Alex Claremont-Diaz falling in love and having his awakening in his early-mid twenties, and now Buck realizing that his jealousy and feelings are more than just wanting to be friends in his early thirties.

Of course, the internet loses its collective minds--mostly for good, but you know the internet is always going to the internet.

There were a bunch of comments about how the show was "ruined" and asking why everything has to be gay. Here are some direct quotes.

"ABC just fucked up an amazing show and ruined my favorite character."

"Enough already. Why must it be in every freaking show on television? We'll see how the ratings go."

"Not Buck😢. ABC has just ruined 9-1-1."

"I'm done... tired of not being able to watch anything with the gay agenda having to be added."

"Ruined the show for me."

"WHY WOULD YOU RUIN BUCKS CHARACTER LIKE THIS. BYE"

"Didn't and don't like where this Buck storyline is going.. smh"

Let's start breaking down this fucking foolery. First and foremost, 9-1-1 is a RYAN MURPHY show and the show has been queer af the whole fucking time. What we're not going to do is erase Hen like she hasn't been there the whole fucking time.

So, I personally this that people are mad about this development in his character because Buck is masc. Not only masc, but he's a firefighter, a manly man's job. Being a queer masc in that type of setting is threatening to some men's heteronormative opinion of what masculinity is. It makes them uncomfortable because he's not a stereotype. Buck's personality hasn't changed because he's started kissing boys. Hen is not an issue because Hen having a more traditionally masculine role as a lesbian is not "threatening" to their opinions of what masculinity is. Michael isn't an issue because he's not a main character, he's not in the 118.

But someone is like "not everything is homophobia" and went on to say about how sometimes people just don't like change and that if you got to know someone for six years as straight you won't like it if they were suddenly queer.

Holy microaggressive queerphobia Batman.

Buck hasn't changed more than his character growth and development over the years. Also, they've been shining a queer beacon over his head for years, which is why so many people were hesitant to get invested in the show thinking it was just going to be another queerbaiting situation.

As a bi myself, I am ecstatic to see more and more positive representation, but to sit here and say that his character is ruined or the show is ruined because he did what they've been hinting at for years, that's goofy.

Like, if queerness offends you so much, why are you watching it?

Moral of the story is that queer people come in all shapes, sizes, personalities, mannerisms, etc. The fact that media is including more masculine presenting queer men is amazing, because we've been force-fed stereotypes that are palatable for straight men for decades. It's supercalafragulisticexpialidous that we have bisexual male representation because that's new new. There's so much biphobia and bi-erasure it's so amazing to see it on the screen (and also not just being queerbaited for years.)

ok i decided im gonna post not only about my diy tattoos but also my equipment and my learning process cause i think it would be cool to share!! just to reiterate im just some guy with a tattoo machine im not a tattoo artist (this is obvious in my work) and i only do tats for fun. post starts under the cut!!!

so first is my equipment - the machine i use is the solong brand wireless rotary pen. yes its a stupidly cheap machine i bought it because i wasnt ready to invest in "real" stuff. however i find that it works wonderfully for linework and very basic shading which is exactly what i use it for so i have no issue with it

my preferred ink is world famous brand blackout black, which i make a gray wash with for shading. i havent used color at all yet and im not sure if i even want to because personally i just prefer black and gray tattoos

next is some of my work on fake skins, this one is my first skin while i was just learning how the machine worked and figuring out hand speed and depth:

shes musty!!! i was proud of the shark at the time though because getting straight lines is extremely hard.

this one is the first full size piece i did, also on fake skin:

i planned on coming back to shade it at some point but i haven't gotten around to it. after i did this one i felt confident enough to start working on real skin so i did my first one on myself:

the first time i did it, i didn't go deep enough and lost a lot of ink. so i waited for it to heal and gave it a second pass, which i went too deep with. its an objectively bad tattoo but i do love it. its located above my knee.

after the dunes tattoo i became delusional about my skill for some reason and i ripped frank ieros "hey jealousy" tattoo. this one is my worst work.

we dont talk about her. its on my upper left thigh, almost in hip territory. it was such a terribly awkward place to tattoo and that area hurt pretty bad.

after this one i took a break to go back to fake skin and dabble in packing/shading:

i love this one and im so mad i tattooed another fake skin over top of it and went deep enough for the ink to ruin this one. i was really proud of the shading, even though the packing on the shirt area was not great. its hard to pack the ink into silicone.

then i thought it would be fun and easy to tattoo my own ass. would never recommend this to anyone. its so painful to twist that way, its impossible to stretch the skin, and its hard to gauge your depth. you can see blowouts where i went too deep and spots where i lost ink in this one

yet somehow that 3 has got the most solid lines ive ever pulled. i cant explain how.

i took a small break from tattooing for a while after this, regretting the ones id done on myself. but they grew on me again and i love them because they were created with love and passion. my most recent one, which i did about 4 months ago, is a sprig of lavender directly next to the dunes logo

this one is my favorite that ive done and i feel like you can definitely see improvement at this point. it did lose ink in the leaf area, but i do kind of like the patchy look?? i also like the thinner linework and the biggest improvement i noticed in this one is that theres no huge blowouts.

so yeah!! hope at least somebody finds this interesting. please dont make fun of me cause again i dont claim to be a professional. also i swear on my life all of my ink looks better in person and from a distance smh

and then you tell him that you don’t want to fall asleep without him because he makes you feel safe

and it makes him want to hold you in his arms for the rest of eternity.

another good example of headpats with him was like at ua in the dorms

you were studying with him, and you finally figured out the math problem that you practically cried to him over

so he patted you on the head telling you that he was proud of you

but that was like the first time he did that ever, so he was flustered and shit

and then you had to tell him that you don’t mind it

it was probably one of his favorite days in his whole lifetime because you didn't judge him.

back to when you're older

iida probably kisses your forehead before he leaves the house whether you're sleeping or not.

if he needs to go on patrol late at night, he'll kiss your forehead and say goodbye

and if he's leaving to go to the store or something, he'll still do the same

if you're ever sad for any reason, he'll hold you as long as you want him to

or he'll just stay away because he doesn't want to make you feel worse with anything he may do to make it worse.

but he'll wrap you up i thousands of blankets and listen to why you're sad and comfort you about it

"there's nothing to worry about, i'll take care of it all." because he definitely will.

he appreciates you for any small thing you do for him. if you make lunch for him, he'll be happy about it for the whole day

like he won't stop thinking about you at all

and if you can't cook that's okay too because since he's so smart, he'll figure out how to cook and do it for you

i swear i have so many more thoughts on this man but i've taken like a week to put this all in here. literally there are no downsides to being with him.

And then chapter 31 is Roy going straight (but not straight) from publicly claiming Jamie as his friend that he actually enjoys spending a stupid amount of time with right into going into boyfriend mode for Jamie in a similar way to how he was with Keeley in chapter 30 and stopping to think about why Jamie has special category of his own status. Plus, he’s also going to have a reason to actually consider that he might not be straight instead of trying to mentally brush it off like if I wasn’t straight I already would have figured it out by now like Jamie and Keeley and Colin did forever ago

um ok so i actually have lots of thoughts after thinking about it all night. my FIRST thought was that abracadaniel's "were you guys talkin about me ',:D" makes me think she has something going on with ABRACADANIEL, but (brushes that aside) hes gay smh. but he clearly wants cal's approval.

WHICH HE'D WANT IF SHE WAS DATING HIS SISTERR OHHH

also other thoughts. it explains why she was so completely bland about cadebra this entire time. youd think shed either love her or hate her, given that deb's a main character the only other member of the Weak House. but she ignores her during class entirely. no playing favorites in doctor cal's class no sir ignores the whole pep thing. she DOES very very gently go check on her when pep runs off and blaines out there smearing his name.

well. i think itd be fun. i mean. i am. very angry at this lady for everything she did and she is not very nice (WHICH LADY? YES). but cal has this very supportive kind veneer i think she really did love those kids to some extent (bro it stops when you leave them lying in an alley alone to die. but she DID just want everyone to have a good time in her class. and "ohh, hey, ease up" lives in my mind forever, as insidious as it was, given who she was saying it to and when. "thats my favorite student you're talking about." augh. okay. that really does hit.)

BUT i think itd be fun. because momdebra is soooo overbearing and intense, mom wants cadebra to push herself so far, mom is insistent that cadebra follow a specific path and track specific numbers to make herself the perfect wizard as dictated by arbitrary levels and abilities. whereas, doctorate though she may have, cal seems so much more holistic, and just wants everyone to follow their own path and learn their own way, and fill their heads with joy and knowledge, she wants everyone to delight in the pursuit of learning and she will stand out in the rain and the mud with you and gently explain the cultural and historical significance of every artifact you find for hours until you are satisfied. like thats her deal. i do not forgive her for the things she did (i need to remind myself of that because im MAD ! she left blaine there defenseless she WATCHED spader die!) but i do think she has a truly kind side to her because learning and pleasure in doing so are actually important to her. just, not as important as bringing about the second age of terror. anyways. sorry this turned into me trying to unravel my cal thoughts.

so i think it would be really funny to see her and momdebra interact over deb. as partners. like mom keeps sending a miserable deb back to work on her incantations over and over and cal is like oh, my goodness, are you still on that? deb, let's go look at some bugs, in the park. (there's a secret hidden lesson buried in the bug-observing expedition) (also she tells her what a good job she's doing and how she can be a wizard in any way she wants no matter what her mom says) (it's corney as hell) (cuz that's cal for you). i would LOVE to think this chills momdebra out a little bit and she learns Acceptance. but i doubt it. she is just blinded by her cool 20 foot tall girlfriend who is so super good at magic. did you know doctor caledonius is level 80000, cadebra??? YOU could be level 80000 so EASILY if you just APPLIED YOURSELF.

anyways it's so sad we cant ship damn near any of the fuckin adults together without running into "SO THEY WERE OKAY WITH LETTING THEIR PARTNER'S DAUGHTER DIE. SO THEY WERE OKAY WITH HELPING THAT TO HAPPEN." like. bro. this is so sad. cal threw deb at her friends and said "get rid of her". cadebra doesnt even have like,,,, any cool adults to run to about this does she. cal in this scenario was probably a level-headed nice person in her life who seemed to support her and want her to be herself. and she went to brain wizard when she was scared that one time. and now what. she went to abracadaniel when she was scared that other time but whats he gonna do??? huddle her under a blanket and go yell at his sister for dating a maniac until he remembers he's too scared of her to do that and then come to hide under the blanket with deb.

i dunno how to end this post i got words. my thoughts: 9/10 excellents fun scenario to play in. i absolutely wanna see what that does to cadebra's life.

I was half expecting all of the What are we Part 2 to be angsty but I'm glad half of the maknae line ended okay 😮‍💨

I was emotionally prepared to be sad BUT INSTEAD you got me so riled up!!!! I was literally pacing around after reading Felix's and I was ready to punch somebody after Seungmin's! I wasn't even sad, I was just so pissed off???? Felix's was so frustrating and I would physically fight the guy if what happened with Seungmin happened to me! Like, 2 MONTHS and he can't get himself together enough to at least have an answer! He showed up with the same "I don't like labels" bs and doesn't want to talk about complicated things! THAT'S THE WORST!!! When it comes to important things in life, indecisive people really make me mad as hell, so I'm glad at least Y/n in Felix's and Seungmin's made the difficult (but ultimately necessary) call to end things since neither guy could figure it out smh

I gotta figure out something to calm me down now 😤 I can't be this mad while I'm doing laundry at like 2am (luckily, I don't have work tomorrow at least)

[Glad you're off until Thursday so hopefully that's enough time to rest and recover! I also did a similar amount of stuff in high school and college and also totally don't get how I made it through alive back then thinking that it was normal to do so much 😭 Teens have so much life energy in them I guess?]

I apologize in advance for the rambling I’m about to do.

I could have made them all angst, but decided last minute. And then I almost released them as angst like and fluff line but I also changed it last minute. Also, I think I put Innie through enough with Distancing pt 2 and Ji I felt deserved a happy ending after all that. But hyung line is also going go be half angst half fluff again and at least one of the angst is going to be heavy (at least I hope).

I honestly have no idea what happened with Felix and Min’s. I started off with Min’s with the full intention of making it sad but I got heated myself and wrote over 1,000 words bc how dare he? Especially with the whole “my girlfriend” comment. I feel like Min wouldn’t be the first to apologize even if he is wrong and I blame that video of when the boys (mainly Innie) pranked him into thinking he lost a company card. Like he was dead set on staying mad if Felix didn’t go and bug him. And Lix? Like, I think he is a person who would be the first to apologize in any situation, even if it wasn’t his fault but since I see him as someone who also will bottle everything up, I felt like he would just over think a romantic relationship to the point where it feels safer to not jinx it by labeling it, idk. But also, they’re young and I guess dumb (they’re literally only a year younger than me) so I feel like its also on brand that they not too in tune with their feelings yet. I imagine that they’re moping around bc they miss bff reader. But, no, yeah, I was getting HEATED writing Min’s!

As MCR once said, teenagers scare the living shit out of me.

hello love <3 i have been bad. overall. but getting better! took a 3 month break from tumblr due to work and the overwhelming flood of antisemitism that was suddenly on here. my personal life took a dive for similar reasons. one of my kitties passed very suddenly; we didn't even know she was that sick until we took her to the vet and he told us she was too far gone. my synagogue had a bomb threat so I stopped going. my union nearly put out an antisemitic statement regarding the war and only didn't bc me and the 5 other jews that work for the district begged them not to bc it would directly endanger us, especially those of us with students who are politically active (hi secondary ed!!) considering the district does absolutely nothing to keep violent kids out of our classes. that was officially the worst zoom call I've ever been in. I got covid during the middle of a work trip and had to go home early so I lost 2 days of bonus pay AND had covid. i think i was at work maybe 10 days of october and 1 of those days i had to go home early bc i had a nervous breakdown during my lunch.

however!! november and december have been a slow uphill. got some mental health treatment while i was quarantined, wrote a TON and have what can almost be called a complete draft of lacuna, worked my ass off at work to make up for all the substitute fuck-ups and finish the trimester. got through my first real evaluation and only got docked points for having chairs on top of tables (not that i'm like. mad about it.) the trimester ended on a high note and i'm teaching sewing right now which is basically 50% social-emotional learning (meditation and hippie shit for those of you that aren't in education) so that the 13-year-olds don't rage quit so it's the most relaxing fucking thing. the bomb threats at my synagogue stopped in time for me to go to the hanukkah services and i celebrated 4 days of nonstop christmas with that side of my family. we're on winter break until the end of this week and I am actually looking forward to the start of this year (manifesting SO hard).

there was definitely a meeting between the companions (without the advisors & quiz) about why they were all called to the council. like bull, vivienne, sera, dorian, varric, even cole would be able to tell that somethings not quite right with quiz and that they aren’t being told something. they probably all knew that the anchor was getting worse. like “don’t say the inquisitor’s hand looks bad” from sera’s journal to me reads as another companion telling her not to ask the quiz about their hand :(

the worst part is that they (especially a LI) would’ve assumed that quiz would tell them what’s wrong once things calmed down. so I can imagine that finding out that quiz is dying from the advisors of all people would’ve been heartbreaking (also quite rude of BioWare, I wanted to tell my companions myself!! smh)

Honestly I feel like "Don't say the Inquisitor's hand looks bad" is a sign of Sera's offscreen maturation between DAI and Trespasser; the Sera of DAI would absolutely have blurted out a question, probably a rude one, but the Sera of Trespasser recognizes that a) that's personal and needs to be handled delicately and b) now is really not the time to start loudly talking about how the Herald of Andraste looks like hell. In other words I choose to believe that at this point in the timeline Sera's grown enough as a person to know when to keep her mouth shut without someone else having to spell it out for her. (Also I disagree with the "even Cole"; the spirit of compassion who senses other people's pain would be the first to realize something was wrong, no "even" about it. In fact I believe if you make him more of a spirit he's one of if not the first to openly acknowledge to Quiz's face that they're in a bad way, and while I can't prove it my headcanon is that he picks up on it right away if he's more human too but recognizes that he probably shouldn't say anything just yet.)

But yeah, the concept of everyone being aware that something is wrong but being so sure that Quiz will tell them if it's a big deal, and then Quiz doesn't tell them... it hurts, I love it. Especially with things like romanced Dorian outright asking why Quiz didn't tell him because he would've helped; I would love it if some of the companions actually got mad at Quiz for hiding this from them. But of course that would only really work if we were given the option to tell the companions, since as is it would just feel like punishment for something we have no control over. I think Quiz should at least have the option of telling their LI!

WOO. Okay so, basic notes so we're on the same page. In OG Adventure Time, the Ice King is all weird and princess-kidnapping-happy because the crown that gives him ice powers also gives him Magic Madness. In this new reboot, he's been fully de-crowned and is just Simon once more, has Massive Depression, and he's currently traveling through the multiverse with Fiona and Cake.

Now, in last week's episode they came to a universe where that Simon became the Winter King instead of the Ice King. He managed to keep... Let's say Most of his sanity, and he feels like the Silliest of little guys. Always has a smile, thoroughly entertained by everything, being kidnapped by the Candy Queen is a mild inconvenience that happens every week or so.

Vees. Vees I NEED the Winter King to get with Simon with THE most dubious of dubcon scenes.

WK has no attachments to the people he knew pre-crown, to the point where he's laughing about the death of someone OG Simon was willing to tear open a hole in reality for. He's got a very... Fae style, just looking for entertainment and power kind of energy. Simon doesn't trust him, keeps poking at how _He_ was able to fight off the mental corruption of the crown while WK tries to brush it off. Stop worrying about it! It was just force of will! Nothing else! Totally didn't transfer the curse to another victim so he could keep the benefits while they suffered! :D

I'm gonna have to write this fic myself SMH but. WK has been in his ice kingdom with only people he controls down to the last snowflake of their biology for so long. I want him to start fooling around with Simon in a full, not even about asking for forgiveness instead of permission, but full on the thought of someone _not_ wanting to go along with this with him never enters his head. I want Simon to be reluctant and annoyed but ultimately go along with it. MOST importantly, I want the nonsense of an ice strap on.

I have an entire scene in my head with Winter King creating an absolutely ridiculous size of strap, and when Simon naturally reacts with a "What do you even think you're doing I can't take that!" WK just grinning and telling him "Well Simon, nothing is stopping you from getting it down to size first." Which results in Simon grumbling, complaining, and DEFINITELY making some jab about how this is going to be hell for his knees, but still kneeling and getting to work with his hands and his mouth to help melt it down to something that will Actually fit inside him.

Idk why selfcest just ticks ALL the boxes for me but I full on drew the pairing and I haven't drawn seriously in _ages_ they're hitting my brain just right.

The exact moment I was 100% sold.

Now the rest of this is BANGER and I would read the hell out of this fic, to be clear.

But I am always just 100% sold on selfcest the second it appears.

Ice strap on you have to melt yourself, though, now that's one I would have expected years of Frozen shipping to bring up before now, and YET, this is the first I'm hearing of it.
