working well together in synastry and composite

i'm going to work off of what i already have posted (no asteroids discussed after this post will be included or added after the fact). finally, i would like to state that NO TWO CHARTS ARE THE SAME. what i am about to list out does not mean you will for sure need these exact things (or all of these things) to be shy, nervous, and/or anxious around one another. if you don't understand my thought process, feel free to dm me with questions!

libra (7°, 19°) or aquarius (11°, 23°) venus/mars and/or 7h libra (7°, 19°) or aquarius (11°, 23°)

these two can be partners in crime and great colleagues; very little gets in the way of them accomplishing a task. they have a sort of dance they do when working together - they don't need to communicate to get the work done.

7h venus

this is great if you guys work together long term - it is like having a co-ownership at a business or partnership at the same firm. venus person loves 7h person and 7h person looks at venus person as if they are their true equal.

11h libra (7°, 19°) or aquarius (11°, 23°)

this is just very easy alliance and partnership. these two cooperate well with one another.

11h venus

these are allies - it is a ride-or-die connection that these two have it is very rare that either person will turn against each other. venus person will treat 11h person as their only friend, while 11h person will be extremely loyal and wishes to help the venus person to be the best version of themselves possible.

11h neptune

this is one of those unlikely alliances that just end up working well together. neptune person sees 11h person's vision and wants to help them come true, while 11h person sees the beauty in idealist and optimistic neptune person.

11h uranus

these people are unstoppable; they will do whatever it takes to make it happen. 11h person see eye to eye with innovative uranus person. uranus person likes that 11h person is great at having the connections it takes to move their projects forward.

armstrong (asteroid 6469) positively aspecting aldrin (asteroid 6470)

these two can go where no one has before - they are willing to do what people have never attempted before. armstrong person relies on aldrin person to be the brains of the operation, while aldrin person relies on the armstrong person to do the heavily lifting. together they are comfortable trying new and improbable things.

donar (2176) / thora (299) positively aspecting loke (4862)

these two will attempt to fool the world around them. donor/thora person is often talked into something silly/foolish by loke person. loke person is the mastermind of the project, while donor/thora person is the muscle power to make it happen.

prometheus (1809) positively aspecting athene (881) / pallas (2)

together these two can create something amazing. prometheus person creates the bare bones of their project, while athene/pallas person breaths life into it and gives it character.

vergilius (asteroid 2798) positively aspecting dante (asteroid 2999)

vergilius person will protect dante person at all costs. vergilius person is a sort of guide, confidant, and sage for dante person. dante person looks up to and greatly appreciates vergilius person. together they can traverse even the most difficult terrains.

5. Does your OC have a signature weapon and/or attack? How long did they train to master it?

Silas carries a bolt action rifle, a pistol and a combat knife. Almost always silenced, he trained with this since he was old enough to hold them.

10. Is your OC sentimental or pragmatic? Do they keep mementos or only what they need to survive?

Have they always been this way or did something happen to make them change?

Very pragmatic, they were taught to repress most feelings. They do have small momentos, often viewed as trophies or ways to signify a successful mission. Unfortunately for Silas he was born into a tough space filled with similar mindsets.

12. Is your OC cynical or optimistic? Who or what shaped their outlook on life?

100% cynical. His parents views on the world are very grim and they see it as a place to be taken from the unworthy.

Uthorim

5. Does your OC have a signature weapon and/or attack? How long did they train to master it?

Depends on the version but it will always include some form of a hand axe. It is simple and usually abundant. Uth used one throughout his day to day so wielding one in combat became a second nature.

12. Is your OC cynical or optimistic? Who or what shaped their outlook on life?

Always optimistic, you'd have to really try to break the hope in this man!

13. How important are romantic relationships to your OC? Do they prefer casual sex, short flings, or long term relationships? Do they want to get married or are they content with what they have? Or do they have no interest in romance whatsoever?

1000000% important he is a hopeless romantic! Now he isn't opposed to casual sex or short flings depending but you get him seated in a long term relationship (ie Loke) and this man is thrivinggggggg

Marriage is something he thinks about often, it's an oath, a promise, a dedication to him. He wouldn't be bothered if he had a partner that wasn't interested though. As much as he loves the idea he doesn't need something like it to know he's in love.

Pulls out his "I'm going to marry Lucy Heartfilia" banner from the celestial world.

Prior to Lucy, I think he's had his fair share of longer-term and deeper romances. They were sporadic, but they occurred. Since Karen, however, he never loved a human.

💑 What are my muse’s requirements for a potential partner?

He's a big proponent of casual hookups and doesn't have much of a high standard for those necessarily.

But a committed relationship? He looks for someone with a lot of empathy. Someone who is compassionate and a humanitarian. They don't need to have magic, but magic is hot. He appreciates independence too. Loke can't be around consistently, and he likes to have freedom to do as he wants ( within the bounds of their relationship of course ). So he doesn't like clingyness.

Loke's someone who really appreciates high romance too, so he's kind of a classic Victorian-esque guy. Whoever is dating him needs to be prepared for that since it can be something of a cultural shock to some.

😉 What are my muse’s fetishes/kinks?

Well, for starters, he's supportive of the idea of multiple partners. He is supportive of monogamous relationships too, of course. But if his partner is interested in expanding, he's fine with that idea so long as it's all discussed.

The 'lion' in him can come out from time to time, so he can have kind of a kinkier hunter/predatory side ( but it's all in good fun ). He might get pretty into playing that sort of role though, since he finds it entertaining and likes the motif. Additionally, he's big on body worship. Kisses everywhere he can think to place them, so long as his partner's approving and satisfied. He wants his partner to know he's appreciative of every part of them both external and internal, as all all of it together is what makes them them.

HEADCANON: Loke + Family

One thing that will probably never be relevant, but I headcanon it anyways is that Loke is sterile. I kind of imagine this to be true for all Celestial Spirits because they are SPIRITS (which makes them presumably non-living and unable to procreate). I think this is part of why Loke never settled down when he was tied to the human realm. Of course, his past with Karen was a huge factor. But I think the inability to have a family made it hard for him to really commit to someone long-term (that and he was going to disappear).

That being said, Fairy Tail and his fellow Celestial Spirits are his family. I think Fairy Tail more so however. The Celestial Spirits are kind of his friends and co-workers; he cares for them deeply. However, he is loyal to the people who helped him over the years when he was at his weakest. Fairy Tail is like his home away from actual home [the Celestial Realm].

Things this is meant to address: - I don’t think it makes much sense that Loke’s slept with so many women and had no children UNLESS this is true. I mean, I get it. He’s supposed to represent Leo the Lion who has a harem, but I don’t vibe with that. - I probably won’t be writing with any Celestial Love Children for personal preference. If people headcanon otherwise, that is fine. I usually follow my partners’ canon anyway. But my Loke portrayal will still be unable to have children.

So this is actually my first time writing something about this two so I hope it's not a total disaster XD enjoy 🧚

1: who likes to sit on the other's lap?

One hundred percent Loke. And Lyon is fine with it when they are somewhere private but is absolutely embarassed when outside. Loke has no shame and Lyon could be talking with anyone, he would just come and sit on his lap as if it was a normal thing to do and join whatever conversation Lyon was into.

(What Lyon failed to notice is that, Loke tend to do this especially if Lyon is talking to someone new or that Loke doesn't like. He is a Lion after all and he likes to let people know what's his)

4: how would they describe each other to loved ones who haven't met their partner yet?

They kept their relationship secret for a long time because they weren't sure of their feelings, and the one who had the most difficulties to keep it a secret was Loke, mainly because he is friend with Lucy who has his key and often calls him at inconvenient times. Like that time she summoned him and he appeared naked. There was a moment of silence before Lucy looked at him knowingly.

"Who is it this time? " Lucy asked.

"Uh... I can't tell?" Loke said, coming to terms with the fact there was no point denying he was with someone.

"Alright, then what do they look like?"

"Perfect." Came the immediate answer.

And Lucy didn't say anything for a moment, probably because usually Loke would have a smirk at this point, rambling about whatever girl or boy he managed to lay a hand on. In the end she only smiled.

"Alright. Hope I'll meet them soon enough."

And Loke only blushed.

For Lyon, it was Gray who confronted him with the matter.

"Okay moron, who is it? Because your Guild has been calling for two days saying that you left and didn't give any news and thought something happened to you when I know you were at Fairytail most of the time. So either you're hiding from something or you are hiding something, or rather someone."

"What ?" Lyon only managed to Say.

"There's no point denying it, Natsu told me you had a boyfriend, and when I asked him how he knew it, he told me it's because he could smell it on you. And when I said how come he knows it's a boyfriend. He replied that the smell was mixed with your original one, whatever the fuck that means and it's someone we know and is part of the guild but he refused to tell me who it is. So I'm asking you. Who. Is . It? "

"uh...look Gray I-I can't tell you who it is. I'm not even sure what is this...thing between us and.." Lyon sighed.

"Alright.. alright." Gray told him. " Just.. does he treats you good?"

"Yeah.." Lyon answered, a smile playing on his lips. "He is really kind and respectfull, you don't have to worry. He's the best I could dream of."

"Then it's all that matters. But really you should call your Guild, they're starting to drive everyone crazy and they threaten to send Jura here."

(When later Gray found out that Lyon was talking about Loke : "are you kidding me? You could have one hundred percent dream better! What the heck? I thought you were talking about a sweet boy, like i don't know, a farmer ? Not a sinful spiritual being!")

12: if they each went to go buy an outfit for one another, what would they get ?

Loke would definitely buy some colorful and ridiculous suits. Lyon hates it but can't resist the smile Loke gives him everytime.

Lyon once bought a lion costume for Loke, thinking he would hate it and as a revenge for the endless suits he now owns. Turns out Loke absolutely loved it and takes good care of it.

1. What is your name? “Jelani Haakonson.”

2. How old are you? "20."

3. What do you look like? "Long hair, blue eyes, black, according to somebody way too tall."

4. Where are you from? Where do you live now? "Originally from Capital Wasteland. Now I'm kind of nowhere really. I mean, we took a bunker we found and cleaned it out and now we're holed up there but we move around a lot and honestly, once we get tired of Boston we're shipping out to whoever the fuck knows."

5. What was your childhood like? "Bittersweet I guess. It wasn't exactly charming or easy. Eh, not something I revisit often."

6. What groups are you friendly with? Are you allied with any factions? "Ok, so I may or may not have gotten on Preston's bad side--not that I give a shit. Probably not on best terms with those railroad quacks after I insulted them. I mean, it wasn't an insult I was just being honest that they took it as an insult is a them problem. I don't think the 'Institute' is real so obviously not allied to them or whatever. I kinda stay away from the BoS in the area and apparently Nisha wants to and I quote stab me in the throat, pull out the knife and make Angelus choke on my blood and it sounds kinky as fuck but I'm still waiting for that stabbing.

Think the only people we actually get along with is The Pack and The Operators. Oh, and those really sweet ghouls up in that farm and Varg from that group of ghouls that live on that ship.”

7. Tell me about your best friend. "He's an idiot, way too loud, way too hyper, wastes far too many bullets and barely hits anything, skinny, little pale twink that I loved enough to marry. He's still an idiot though."

8. Do you have a family? Tell me about them! "Ja, I have an older brother. He taught me everything our parents taught him. I was too little to remember a lot of it so after they died he picked up where they left off. Basically raised me. He's nice, a little too nice for his own good but he means well. He'll help anyone no matter what."

9. What about a partner or partners? "Yeah, husband. Talked about him earlier."

10. Who are your enemies? And why? Aside from Nisha I might sorta, kinda be wanted by the NCR and it's probably a good idea to never go back to New Vegas.

Thing with Nisha is because she found out I was talking trash about her and her little group. At least The Pack surprisingly has a clear view of what they want, Operators obviously know what they want and what to do. Nisha and those rabid little assholes just wanna kill everything and ok in a way I can admire that but there’s no pay off to it, there’s no point. And I just don’t like the bitch and she needs to live with it. Still waiting for that stabbing, Nisha. Need my address?

NCR is a huge mess. I don’t even remember why we were fighting but this asshole named Lucien just started shit with my brother so obviously I wasn’t having any of it so I stepped in. Shit escalated and we shot ‘em and took their coats because...fuck them all. NCR found out and of course now we’re on bad terms with them to the point where it’s kill on sight."

11. Have you ever heard of the Brotherhood of Steel? What do you think about them? "Ok with all due respect to my mother I think they're just glorified raiders who come to places they're not wanted and like locusts take what they want and use people only to then move on and leave the area all the worse. I get why my mother joined but I'm glad she went awol."

12. What about The Enclave? "I don't know that much, I don't even think they're around anymore. All I know is my maternal grandmother was in The Enclave."

13. How do you feel about Super Mutants? "Annoyed. Trigger happy freaks who just never calm the fuck down."

14. What's the craziest fight you ever been in? "This was back in New Vegas and we were in the strip. So a couple of us were at Gomorrah, there was a lot of drinking. So after some fucking around on the courtyard we all head up to one of the suites and we're passing around more drinks, chems of all kinds and prostitutes. So there was this one prostitute I can't even remember what the fuck he looked like but he was crazy for jet and guess what I had plenty of. Later that night someone comes to the fucking door asking for a Jake. None of us really know each other, we were all just a bunch of mercs fucking around. So everybody starts asking for a Jake and who was it? The guy who I was balls deep in. Great. Turns out that bitch was that guy's favorite but I'm an asshole about it, I'm drunk and high off everything you can imagine. I walk up to the guy at the door and tell him that he can have him back once I'm done with him and close the door and we get back to it. Guy doesn't like that but walks away.

So we're all still drinking and fucking and suddenly we hear gunshots down the hall and the same dude from before yelling for Jake to come out. He kicks down the door, fights his way through the group and pulls out a knife while he yells that that's his bitch I was fucking. I don't even know why but I just put my hand up, I guess I was trying to grab his hand but ended up putting my palm in front of me and he just stabs my hand. At that moment I didn't feel a thing. The whole room just stopped and we're all looking at my hand and that psycho. I shake my hand to get it off but all I'm really doing is spraying blood everywhere and we all start laughing but that guy wasn't laughing so he yells and goes to shoot but two other guys this one prostitute push the guy and they wrestle the gun from him somehow. I'm still laughing really loud and I don't know why but I grabbed him and stood him up and I pushed him. Pushed him hard enough that he went through the window and the last thing we heard was this really nasty splat.

We all looking at the dead guy and then at each other and the girl that got the gun off him just yells out this really slurred bye and we lose our shit. We're laughing hard and making a bigger raucous and just then some Omerta assholes walk in with guns drawn and shit. She was the only one who wasn't drunk or high so she tells 'em what the fuck just happened and they just give us a generic warning and we keep going till we blackout. I woke up two days later near Novac and Loke looking at me like a disappointed dad and talks my ear off for an hour. I don't remember what the fuck he said I was hungover and my hand hurt like a bitch. No regrets that was a hell of a fun night."

15. Have you ever fought a deathclaw? "...I have and on several occasions but one sticks out and it's probably the worst moment of my life. When Loke and I realized we were wanted by the NCR he goes up to me and says, 'Lillebror, we need to get the fuck outta here. Now.' So he's panicking and he never panics so I'm panicking. Long story short we go with this caravan who's moving to Boston because you know there's safety in numbers and they have a map and they've used that same route dozens of times.

Turns out there was a really bad storm and the usual route was blocked off by this massive tree and if we didn’t have some brahmin with us and there wasn’t a caravan we could have climbed over it. So we’re looking at the map and I notice this route through what I’m guessing used to be some mines that led back to the main route. That route was the fastest but hadn’t been used for a long time but I keep insisting it’s better than going through the other one which would cost us about 3 days. So we go and we literally walk into a goddamn deathclaw nest. We manage to kill one since it was already wounded but then the other one shows up and Loke tries to lure it away from the group while I get everyone to a safe distance. Once I do I go back for my brother and I try to get that thing’s attention so Lo can hide. Didn’t exactly go as planned and I watched Lo and the deathclaw fall.

I thought he’d died and I don’t know I stayed at the nest just waiting. I don’t know those few days after are a blur and the only reason I snapped out of it was because Dagny was injured and she was hungry and I knew she wouldn’t be able to survive on her own. So I finally got up and walked to Boston because of her.

Luckily Lo made it and we eventually found each other again but that was the worst deathclaw encounter I’ve ever had.”

16. Do you like fighting? “Not particularly, I mean, if I have to I will but I don’t actively try to look for fights.”

17. What's your weapon of choice? “Antimaterial sniper rifle that used to belong to my mom. I can pretty much use anything but that’s my go to.”

18. How do you survive? Your wits, your charm, your skills, brute force, some combination? (a.k.a. what’s your S.P.E.C.I.A.L?) Combination of skills. I was basically trained since I was a kid to use most any weapon and how to survive out there. Also picked up how to hack into any terminal I come across. I leave the charm and manipulation and lockpicking to Angelus and any and all robot know how to Lo.”

19. Have you ever been in a vault? What do you think of them? “Yeah, we actually went looking for a violin for this old lady, it was inside a vault. I don’t really know what to think of them aside from the fact that they’re really creepy.”

20. How do you beat all the radiation around here? Has it affected you? “Look I have a lot of specific things I take with me whenever I go out there and a metric fuck ton of Rad Away is one of them. I never eat anything that’s raw and I spend a long time washing food before I cook it. I’ve barely had to deal with that shit and I intend to keep it that way.”

21. What's your favorite wasteland critter? “Fine, I might be a bit biased but night stalkers and dogs. Dagny’s been an amazing pet and Maya’s an absolute sweetheart.”

22. What's your least favorite wasteland critter? “Deathclaws. Hate them to death. I don’t like admitting to it but they scare the fuck out of me and whenever I run into one I’m scared to death that it’ll hurt or kill someone I care about and I get into this weird fight or flight state where I’m either gonna run the fuck away as fast as I can or I fight till I run out of bullets or it kills me.”

23. How do you feel about robots? “To be honest they kind of used to freak me out a little especially robobrains but watching Loki put ‘em together and fix ‘em is actually pretty interesting and Kat’s fun. She’s bitchy in a fun way.”

24. How many caps do you have on you right now? “I never leave without at least 400 caps, you never know what the fuck’s gonna happen out there. There’s also several stashes with at least 200 caps in them that Angelus and I have hidden in areas we frequent.”

25. Nuka Cola or Sunset Sarsaparilla? “Fuck, man, Nuka always, especially Nuka Cherry. When I saw the damn bottling plant over at Nuka world I nearly cried.”

26. Do you do chems? “Uh...not really anymore. Ok, as a teenager I was drinking a lot and basically trying every chem anybody would offer. I didn’t keep any with me because I knew my brother would kick the shit out of me. I didn’t use frequently because I was afraid Loki would find out and I was really cautious about addiction. Now skip forward to Boston and this was after the deathclaw incident and I thought Loki was dead and I blamed myself for what happened and I wasn’t in a good place at all I’ll admit it. Met Angelus and some of his friends and they were getting high and/or drunk all the goddamn time we went to Nuka World and it got to a point where I thought that it would be better if I just died so I took to jet because it was the only thing that would numb me enough to stop feeling anything especially the guilt. On one particularly shitty day I was drunk and that exacerbated that guilty feeling so I hid and took one hit after another until I blacked out and next thing I know Angelus was pumping me full of Addictol while this other Operator helped him. Apparently I was declared dead for two minutes and when I came to I was fucking pissed off at him. That was the point and he fucked it up for me but I’m actually grateful for it and after that I stopped taking any of it and he actually slowed down on using any of them. He occasionally still used but not as much as before and he’s kinda stopped ever since we got married so win-win I guess.”

27. Do you ever think about the Pre-War world? “No, I don’t actually. That time is long gone and it’s never coming back so there’s no point in wasting time and energy into thinking about it. I’ve read up on it several times and while it sounds practical it also sounds utterly boring and I don’t know if society as it is now could possibly go back to it, not when we’ve lived this way for this long.”

28. What's your deepest regret? What would you do differently? “I have plenty of regrets but there are some I regret more than others. I regret suggesting that route that led to that nest, I regret getting addicted to jet and overdosing on it but I especially regret the one time I was brave enough to kill myself. This was obviously before I found out that Loke was still alive, this was after the overdose and way before we got married. I told Angelus to look after Dagny while I went out to do a favor for someone. I just kept walking and walking until I ran into this small abandoned bunker and I broke in and just dropped on the floor and just stayed there for days. I was choking on this guilt and I didn’t know how to make it stop. So I grabbed the knife I always carry with me and I just cut as deep as I could and waited. Few minutes later I could hear barking and in rushes Dagny followed by Maya, Angelus, Ginger, and Abigail. Spent a few weeks at their place. Didn’t eat, didn’t talk, barely moved, three of them watched me like a hawk. I’d made up my mind to eat a bullet as soon as they let their guard down but Angelus got pissed the fuck off at me and he started yelling at me. Told me I was acting like an asshole and being selfish. I finally spoke up and told him that I should’ve died with Lo and he actually pushed me and told me that Lo didn’t sacrifice himself only for me to go and kill myself and that by doing that I was spitting in his face and it made sense. We just stayed in bed for a few days, cried more than I ever did in my entire life and I don’t know it just made a bit of sense.

If I knew that I would eventually run into Loke and find out that he was still alive I would have never done any of that especially after Lo saw the scars and asked and I didn’t lie. I should’ve but I didn’t wanna lie to him and he was crying and I was crying and it was a bit of a mess. He told me that he thought about doing it too when he wasn’t able to find me and thought that maybe I’d died. That’s my biggest regret.”

29. What's your biggest achievement? Or what do you hope to achieve? “Look in this day and age I’ll consider growing old and dying of natural causes like the ultimate achievement.”

wow i totally logged off this account after tumblr went anti-nsfw but in lieu of endgame, here it is:

- it was an unexpected pregnancy

- you’d tell him whilst on a date

- you guys would be sitting across each other and holding hands whilst eating dessert

Day 8: Bonus

“I will beat the dicks out of your noob ass, Bitchbuster.”

“Do your worst, Slutlet.”

So Erza hit him with a hadouken and knocked him out. As Gray gripped his controller, fuming sourly, Erza put hers down gently and tossed her hair in victorious grace.

“You asked,” she said smugly as Gray tossed away the controller and leaned back into the sofa. Erza swung her legs onto the sofa, folded them one atop the other and placed her chin on Gray’s shoulder. “What was the score this time?” She bumped him with her shoulder. “I didn’t keep count.”

“31-19,” Gray replied with a sigh. Erza hummed.

“So maybe after two years of practice, you’ll finally be able to tie with me.”

“I hate you.”

“I love you too,” she replied cheerfully and kissed his cheek. Gray’s shoulders sagged as he embraced the pity kiss of defeat. They were still Erza’s lips, and that was something he wouldn’t say no to.

Playing games together wasn’t really something that happened often for them. Work got in the middle of everything, but Sundays existed for a reason. Sundays were their days and when they were too lazy to go out, Gray got the console out and much swearing ensued.

Games always brought out the worst of Erza’s competitive spirit. If she didn’t win (she mostly won, thankfully), she got all sullen and miserable and her determination levels skyrocketed. That always spelled massacre for Gray. Why he continued to subject himself to humiliation after humiliation, he didn’t know.

Oh, right. I have no dignity.

“I feel like we are always playing against each other,” Erza said. “Do you have no games where we are on the same side, Gray?”

“Hmm. Well, there are a few…”

“Is there a problem?”

“It’s a fantasy rpg, and I dunno if you-”

“I live for fantasy!” Erza declared passionately, thumping the sofa with her fist. Gray believed her. “Put it in and turn it on!”

“That’s what she said,” he commented quietly as he got up to fetch the game, grinning to himself. Erza threw a cushion at his butt.

“Your sense of humour is deteriorating.”

“Hey, it’s an evergreen joke, okay?”

“For twelve-year-olds.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“This is a two player game?” she asked as the game loaded up. Gray nodded.

“It’s designed to have two player co-op. If you play alone, you get to control both players.”

“There are two protagonists?”

“Mhmm.”

Erza rubbed her palms together, smiling. “I shall like this.”

And it was clear from the character creation menu that she did indeed like it. Erza spent about an hour customising her character. She chose to play a female knight with long, red hair, heavy armour and a two-handed sword.

“What?” she asked when Gray shook his head. “I was just aiming for accuracy.”

“I know, honey,” he replied and kissed her temple lightly. “Just amused by your pedantic attention to detail.”

Erza pouted, but looked impressed when Gray completed his character within ten minutes.

“Battlemage with a white coat,” she commented. “Not accurate at all.”

“What can I say? Your pedantry rubbed off on me.”

“You’ve played before, haven’t you?”

Gray nodded. “With Loke, yeah. Our characters ended up romancing each other and he wouldn’t stop calling me ‘husbando’ for weeks.”

“There is a romance option?!” Erza’s eyes practically glimmered. Gray couldn’t look at her directly. “It hasn’t even started and I love this game already!”

“Uh-huh. Shall we?”

“Let’s.”

Erza was in full attention from the opening cutscene itself. Gray didn’t blame her. He rather liked the game’s story, and it did a good job at hooking one’s attention from the get-go. When gameplay actually started, and Erza saw and moved around her character for the first time, she shook a deep breath and whispered softly under her breath: “It’s so pretty!”

Gray said nothing, though he prepared himself for being slain by her cuteness. I wish I could record all this.

After telling her which button did what, Erza spent a few seconds testing out the skills of the knight class. She had gone for a more tank-ish build while he would be able to provide ranged offense and support. The gameplay called for teamwork, and their respective roles would complement each other quite well.

Just like in real life, he thought as he glanced at her fondly. She looked so happy while slashing her way through rabid orcs and undead zombies. Gray wondered whether she could solo the whole campaign on her first go. He wouldn’t put it past her.

“Gray!” She slapped his thigh gleefully. “There are dialogue options! Our characters can talk to each other! Inside the game! And we get to choose what we say!”

“Yeah, they discuss what decisions to take pertaining to quests,” Gray replied, amused. “In case they can’t come to terms, they can play stone-paper-scissors for it.”

“You’re pulling my leg!”

“Nawp. Wait, I’ll show you.”

So he did. And won. Erza didn’t even seem to register the loss for she grinned widely and said, “I love this game.”

Dialogue choices and in-game decisions stacked up and helped determine the character’s personality. By the time they made it halfway through the game, Erza’s character had a distinctly romantic outlook while Gray’s was pragmatic.

Just like in real life.

After spending six hours on the campaign, Gray yawned and looked at Erza. She was completely absorbed. One of their allies had just betrayed them and she was muttering curses under her breath.

“What do we do for dinner?” he asked.

“I’ll think about it after I lay the smack down on this bitch.”

Gray snorted and reached for the phone. “I’m ordering pizza.”

“Fine.”

But the pizza had to wait, for within five minutes of its arrival, the final boss appeared. It was indeed a titanic battle of epic proportions, and health potions were consumed wholesale. Erza was indefatigable in her efforts, and Gray could not help but be impressed by her drive. He was most amused when after the Void Dragon was finally defeated and sealed away, Erza leapt up from her seat, thrust her hands skywards, exclaimed “Hallelujah!” and sank back into the sofa, spent.

As the ending cutscene started rolling, Gray put his arm around her shoulder and kissed her cheek.

“We did it,” he said quietly as Erza snuggled into his side.

“Mhmm. Truly a test of our bond.” She wrapped her arms around his torso. “What happens to our characters?”

“There are multiple endings, but we’ll be getting an epilogue soon enough.”

When it came, Erza read it aloud, “Well, our saviours were fine companions, one slightly love-struck, the other a respectful friend. Many more adventures had they, side by side, slaying beasts and evil barons with ease. After battle, saviour the first would gaze affectionately at saviour the second, and in time… well, in time saviour the second began to gaze back.” She smiled. “Awww. That was sweet.”

“Mhmm. Just like in real life, eh?”

He’d meant it jokingly, but when Erza didn’t respond, he looked down, slightly worried. Erza had her head on his shoulder and had her eyes closed. She was smiling to herself.

“Whatchyu thinkin’?” he asked her.

“Just about what you said. The game did mirror our life slightly, didn’t it?”

“Only just.”

“Mmm.” She rubbed her cheek against his collarbone. “Thank you, Gray.”

“What for?”

“Giving me a chance to be with you. Letting me prove that I can do this.” She paused. “It couldn’t have been easy for you.”

Gray sucked in a breath and gathered his thoughts.

“No,” he said. “It wasn’t.” He rubbed her shoulder with his thumb and kissed the top of her head. “But it was worth it.”

“I’m glad you feel that way, for there is nobody better to watch my back than you.” Erza sat up and took his face in her hands, smiling warmly. “Whether in a game, or in real life. You’re my partner, my husband, and I love you very, very much.”

In an effort to hide his blush, Gray pressed his forehead against hers. He placed his arms around her waist and kissed her slowly.

“I love you too,” he replied. “Though I must confess I enjoy watching your front, too. That’s where all the good stuff’s at.”

“You are hopeless.”

“Hopelessly in love with you, yes.”

Erza snorted and pulled him into another kiss, probably just to shut him and his endless supply of bad jokes up. Gray didn’t complain as he gently pushed her down onto the sofa.

After all, what was the point of winning if there were no celebrations to follow?

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER?: In an ideal world, my OTP for Loki is no one. I’d love to be unbiased with my ships and adore them all equally, especially as MCU Loki has no canon love interest, but I’m human (drat!) and this is what role-playing is for. I have two OTPs and they’re both gay af. I write a whopping amount of frostiron, in fact I find it hard for Loki not to get interested if he’s playing with a Tony. My other one, I’m just gonna out and say that yes, boo hiss, I enjoy Thorki. But I don’t currently intend to play it. 20% of the reason being I don’t want the drama, 80% it’s my personal preference not to. There are other ships I absolutely love, especially because of the partners I’m playing with, and really it’s all about the chemistry as to who takes Loki’s interest.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO WRITE WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: Pretty much the whole shebang. It’s ship/chemistry dependent but I’m up for a whole range of fluff to angst, domestic to toxic, first interest to long term ships. I have to have build-up with most things, however. I rarely do pre-established relationships except for frostiron. Children are a rarity and they take me getting to know a writing partner for a while, though I’m not super precious what with Lokes being multi-verse. We can make and scrap those little brats as often as we like. That said, I’m not a fan of mpreg at least with humans (unless they’re trans of course!) and with Loki I prefer him to switch to being female if she decides to get up the duff. It’s one of those things that depends. Sex-wise I will write anything you’re comfortable with. I like to let him run free without boundary, though I will put stuff under a Read More. Who knows how long it’ll be before Puritumblr stops me writing it anyway.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: With minors obviously being out of the question, this depends too. Loki looks in his thirties but he’s over a thousand years old so?? My personal preference is muses to be 20+ in human years ideally up to their considered ‘prime’. I’m not particularly a silver fox lover but I can make exceptions.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: I am, yes. Chemistry is important for Loki to respond to someone, but one of the biggest things is for me the mun to be personally attracted in some way to the muse in question. I’m sure that can be a butthole but I just can’t give a ship the depth of feeling it needs if me and Loki aren’t on the same page. He’s also fussy about how he’s treated.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?: Interesting question. Uh, I start tagging it if hands go wandering, language is filthy enough and kisses are particularly heated. Read More’s start if enough clothes have come off and touches are in intimate areas.

WHO ARE THE CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?: Oh god, I’m going to forget someone I know it. Off the top of my head I’m currently shipping with Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, Natasha/Natalia Romanoff, Emily Clearwater, Sigyn, Steve Rogers, Valkyrie, Heimdall, Grandmaster, Jessica Jones, Karen Page, Kili (toxic currently), Ashley Jones, Darcy Lewis, Amy Pond, Hela, Amora and there are several muses I think we’re working toward shipping or that I’d like to but I won’t yet list. I would be willing to give Bruce a try even if Loki’s got qualms about Hulk. He’s curious about T’challa, Shades, Okoye, Clint Barton (lol good luck Loki), Scott Lang and likely more.

RP's really been getting me down lately. I've been trying hard to do walkups and just kinda be around? In big groups? But I find crowds super overwhelming even in game. I really want a long-term rp partner to do some deep character arc stuff but every time I manage to actually talk to someone and bring it up, they always end up dropping me really quickly for someone else. At this point I have to winder if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm just a bad writer. People will tell me they really loke my character and think they're interesting but they're gonna have to move on bc they have a romance arc with someone else? Cana’s more likely to say something hurtful, but I think Gray would be more likely to do something emotionally hurtful, like walking out in the middle of an argument and leaving on a job without telling her.

I think when it comes down to it Cana is, although Gray would be strong for her when it came to Gildarts stuff.
