MLB X MCU AU in which Marinette gets revealed as Multimouse to the entire world

Because Alya cant be trusted to be responsible with a camera.

Every-fucking-one knows now. hawkmoth. her PARENTS. Hell even TONY fucking STARK knows she was a hero.

and then her parents make/force her to take Style queens offer to intern in NYC, because, from their perspective she is not safe in paris. and like- the AVENGERS are in new york so surely it must be safe there. so they pack up and move their entire bakery business.

and she ends up going to midtown high-school, where not to her knowledge, fellow teenage superhero Peter parker aka "Your friendly neighborhood SPIDER-MAN" goes to school.

Cute adorable shipping commences.

peter is all like "omg another teenage super hero???!!! like me???? i thought i was the only one???? transferring to MY school?!!! SO COOL!!"

"marinette is super smart, marinette is pretty, she was one of THE Miraculous Ladybug's sidekicks how cool is that??!, marinette is COOL!! maybe we can be friends? how am i gonna talk to someone that cool though?? i cant tell her my secret identity!!!"

of course Marinette still has the ladybug miraculous -even tho everyone thinks she doesn't have the rat miraculous anymore- and the miracle box. so she can still fight hawkmoth because the horse is basically fast travel irl, Space miraculous super conveintent.

(also concerning the mirsacle box, im going with my headcanon/Unlucky 13 AU on what that looks like post "ladybug becomes guardain" because that egg thing from canon? fucking lame

It would be canon compliant till season 2 and most? of season 3? but like fuck miracle queen, season3 finale + truth made me stop watching the show. so like in this au, lets just assume Fu is dead, and ladybug has had the miracle box for some time now. and that they got the miraculous when they were 13, and are currently 15? yeah? okay.

(also prolly chat salt, it doesn't HAVE to be chat salt, but like- He. Keeps. Trying. To. Quit. And leave all the work to marinette!!!! its happened like 3?? times now? Marinette CANT quit!!! its literally "do this or lose all your memories!!!" she is being held hostage by a fucking magic box full of responsibilities no 15 year old should have to deal with.)

I headcanon that marinette stress-bakes, so like cute scene number #1 after peter and marinette become friends, could be something like "marientte stresses for a test, and then bakes to much food so her parents make her take it to school to share with her peers, and she ends up giving like- 1/2 of them to parker, becuz of his super high metabolism.

and how marinettes got her whole "i'm RESPONISBLE!!! for the whole fucking universe now, omfg i'm the reason fu is basically dead" angsty shit going on which kinda parallels peters whole "i have super powers, and if i dont do something to help then its my fault if someone gets hurt, like how my uncle died. With great power, comes great RESPONSIBLITY!!!" angst. maybe they could trauma bond. who doesn't like a good hurt comfort trauma bond fic?

marinette likes designing fashionable but also functional clothes.

peter likes designing gadgets and techy things. let them be nerds together!!! in love!!

i feel like they would be the kind of couple/friends to just ramble on about their passions and they would listen to each other even tho they dont know much about each others interests yet. (also hey what if marinette and peter co designed one of peters early suits pre-stark suit??? the fucking writing potential this ship has omfg c'mon ppl!!! why are we sleeping on this??)

oh! and maybe peter figures out that marinette is also ladybug -but later on- cuz like, he has superhearing? and tikki isn't as subtle as she thinks she is.

and then he's all in awe like "Wow holy shit!!! she made her ladybug secret identity FOOLPROOF!!!! no one would ever fucking suspect!! maybe she can help me with mine???"

Fox miraculous shenanaigans insue????? The daily Bugles next headline be like: "SPIDER-MAN SAVES SI INTERN PETER PARKER FROM ETC ETC"

( the media thinks Ladybug and Chat are 1000+ years old due to that thing alya found in that museum that one time. and the fact that people know that Thor and Loki are super old.

Ladybug's excuse to the public for letting a teenager, Nay! for letting a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD CHILD use an extremly dangerous magical artifact for a little over 2 years, goes something like this: "Marinette was the ONLY person in france- maybe in the whole world! that was compatible with the Rat miraculous, it takes a very smart person to be able to multitask like that, and marinette has a photographic/phonetic memory."

i headcannon that marinette photographic/phonetic memory, and that the Rat Miraculous is the math miraculous that was mentioned in the comics that one time, and that if an incompatible person were to try and use it they would at BEST develop a severe case of split personality disorder/ or schizophrenia, and at WORST their brain would- just- melt out of their ears. )

Also he calls her "Spots" or "LuckyBug" when shes in hero mode.

(i cant think of cute nicknames for peter, ugh "web head" is just something i cant picture marinette saying. what's the french word for spider? what's the french word for cobwebs??)

She prolly just calls him "Webs" or "Spidey"

Ghost headcanons💀

Because I’m unoriginal and suffering in Literature class

Also this is my first time just sharing headcannons so please be nice-

- More of the quiet-angry type, rarely gets “loud, yelling-profanities-in-one-breath” kind of angry

- When something does cause him to be like that though (god have mercy on it), everyone just- doesn’t know how to react; whether it’s terrifying or just shocking

- Either way, Soap finds it hilarious but he doesn’t laugh about it publicly when it does happen. Maybe a snort or two slips out

- When he gets quiet-angry, every poor soldier in the room swears they start shivering and are just unable to move

- Has crooked nails and very rough skin at the edge of his fingers, specifically the thumbs and index fingers (he picks them until they bleed whenever he’s alone in his room in the base and suffering from panic attacks) -projected my issues here *cOugh-

More underneath cause I don’t wanna hog anyone’s dashes :”D

- Soap found out about this and gave him a pack of bandaids. But they’re all decorated with cartoons or patterns. Ghost still uses them anyway

- He’d be caught dead before anyone sees his bandaid-covered fingers because he always wears gloves. Except for Soap ofc, he has seen them and he has doodled on them before as a reward for actually taking his advice because yer fingers can git infected Ghost-

- Is the type to do silly things when he’s stuck somewhere deserted or is just lingering around a place like an empty museum or mall (thinking back to the time in Mission: Alone where he was waiting for Soap in the church)

- Such as getting on a high place to sit his bored arse down and maybe even swing his legs back and forth to relieve his aching knees (this man looks so stiff whenever he sits down istg)

- Or remembering a song in his head and tapping his feet to it, maybe even slightly dancing

- But he has to be completely alone. Surveys the whole area and makes sure there’s not a living soul within a 2 mile radius

- Not sure if he has a flat canonically but if he were to live in one, it’ll be the bare minimum. (I’d prolly live like him too cause simplicity ya know? Anyways-)

- I’m talking about two-roomed flat (not including the separate toilet) with one; a small store room just reeking from unknown junk in there and his bedroom with a single air mattress with a few duct tape patches by its sides due to his pocket knives falling out from his pockets and somehow unsheathing (trust me, it happened to me a bunch of times when I went camping) when he actually sleeps deeply or from under his pillow

- Only uses the kitchen to boil water and drink tea, he orders takeout. He’s a decent cook but he can be an excellent one if he had time to practice and actually put his mind to it

- Sleeps in low light, the light source being the street lamps outside his flat. Does not sleep in darkness, will have flashbacks to when he was buried with a corpse (yes I’m mixing the comics with this cause I thought that was a cool detail and angst potential)

- Random but, always wins during Uno games with TF 141. No one exactly knows how he guesses the next colour placed onto the middle stack or how he always has smth to put

My headcannons for 20 Minutes into the Future (below cut!!)

Max!!

Asexual, but I think he'd also be on the aromantic spectrum too?

Only knows a lot of things because of Edison's memory, and acts like he's a hot-shot know-it-all because of it. Mans has never played golf a DAY in his life.

I completely agree with the headcanmon that he blows tv fuses when he gets mad, but I think if he were to sleep, his background would only show up as a kind of "screensaver." Y'know?

Has a toothgap due to Edison's accident. He doesn't mind it, personally! :3

Cannot physically age unless he chooses to. I stress this because of the Channel 4 Digital Switchover commercial, in which Max is shown to be aged. I, for one, A.) Do not count that as canon, and B.) Don't believe Max can age physically. Though, yes, he is old in our world.

Hates his stutter. Tries not to show that he's insecure (macho, masculine, 80s persona type shit,) but in reality he can't help it and genuinely despises how he talks.

If!! If ever given a body (Bryce prolly built it), he would be taller than Edison. Max would be ECSTATIC.

Doesn't listen to a lot of music, normally. He might put on like, pop or disco sometimes, but its not like he gets too much into it.

Maybe some elements of religious trauma, coming from the related episode,,, Something something,,, Vanna Smith's relationship with Edison is meant to represent his past beliefs and how they still have a grip on him,,,, something something their one night stand was a metaphor for reliving your trauma and coming out of it changed/with a new lens,,,, something something,,,,

,,,I have mixed feelings about him and Theora,,,,

One one hand, yeah! Cool! They have good chemistry, and they have their motives to be in a relationship!

On the other hand, it would do Theora's character a misjustice to simply make her get into a relationship with Edison just cus,,,, i dunno,,,

Edison would HATE that Max would be taller than him. Matt Frewer/Edison is already a tall dude, but,,,, make Max 7'6 you cowards. /hj

Always breaks his vidicams, hides them from Murray and Cheviot but knows they'll eventually find out. Time out for Mr. Digital Sherlock >:P

Hangs out with Blank Reg when he's not covering stories, I think Eddy and the Big Time Television crew would have a great friendship!!

Her and Edison do hang out, like, outside of work, but the thought of "romance in the workplace" icks her out (valid, honestly.)

Sometimes plays into Max's antics, I think they'd have a great dynamic (shame it wasn't explored more.)

so long storys short i [OOC: These characters have no canon ages, but the one speaking and “Marshmellow” are both female] have this rival whos had it out for me ever since the beginning. well call her “marshmellow” since thats what she looks like

ever since she started going to my old school she’d always been showin’ off just how much better than me she is at everything. everyone always completely ignored me and flocked to her whenever she entered the room, and sometimes she even had the AUDACITY to make her spite extra obvious like that one time where she stole my pickled onion off my lunch tray or psyched me out and made me miss the round-winning kick in some big soccer tournament. or when we were competing in a bread race and she fucmking SNEEZED on the side of the bread that i was supposed to eat. and then was all “kUrOmI~cHaN aReN’t YoU gOnNa EaT tHe BrEaD. Go On KuRoMi EaT tHe MeLo BuGgErS”. or when she got lost on a field trip so i got off the bus to go look for her and when she found her way baxk without my help she LET THEM LEAVE WITHOUT ME

and our rivalry led me to start this cool biker gang of ppl like me and meet my sidekick (17M) who well call eggplant for funsies. and eggplamrs family is DIRT POOR and one day i stole some bread from the market for them and got caught and thrown in the dungeon and had to lie about why to make sure they didn’t get in trouble too (for what? STARVING?? BECAUSE YOU DIDTN FEED THEM???). and nobody i knew visited me because they were too busy SIMPING FOR MARHSMELLOW. and to this day they all owe me 8 birthday parties (except my homies theyre cpol)

but one day i escaped and me and eggplant found a cool magical artifact in the same castles treasure room that could help me cast spells on humans that would bring their dreams to reality in rlly fucked up ways and if they enjoy it i get a black note and if i get a humdred of them i can play this special song that will summon this ancient evil to KICK MARSHMELLOWS ASS

and i went to the human wrld to enact my plan and ended up scoring a room in the most AWESOME house with djffjdjfhshfsh the most handsome most awesome most loving human EVR!!! youve prolly already heard of him since litrrally everyone has. and me and eggplant share a room

and ever since we started this journey hes been my sidekick, doing all the housework, going out adn fetching me stuff when i ask for it, paying the remt for our room, and letting me use him as a punching bag to vent my anger. and we fly around the human world together in search of black notes and he sniffs out humans dreams. and i dont say it often but im glad hes so willing to just sit there and take it all. is what i WOULD say if he he didnt suddenly decided he had enough of it and LEAVE. TO GO STAY WITH MARSHMELLOW (oh yeah marshmellow followed me to the human world and made friends there who shes also staying with. theyre collexting pink notes which dont really do anything but stop me from getting blsck ones)

and he says hes happier living there than he is living wiht ME. and i had to work my ASS off to get him back but its all cool cuz i punished him accordingly later <3

but while i was still tryna get him back i thought of how good our friendship was before then and realized i never treated him like that before coming to the human world and thought for a split second that i might not be being the best friend

prolly gonna keep doing it anyway bc thats just how this cruel world works lol. but i cant get ot outta my head so i might as well ask. aita?

He has friends! He’s just bad at being close friends with ppl. Very nervous and very inexperienced in that

3 what is something they really like about themselves, and what’s something you really like about them?

Hmmmm. Virthik likes his hair a lot. It’s arguably the nicest thing about him, in terms of the amount of care put in. He also quite likes that he’s finally at a point in life where he can actually do things that he wants to do, and have a say in what may happen to him. The thing I like most about him physically is his dragon horns :3 overall I like that he does his dead level best to help people when he can, even if he doesn’t know he’s doing it :)

4 What is the thing they like the most about their friends, and what is the thing their friends like the most about them?

For friends that are my ocs, he likes that they’re kinda used to his whole thing(pretty much just automatically) so they don’t end up getting terribly worried when he says out of pocket shit on accident(at least not visibly). Should they prolly be worried? Absolutely. He has a 50% chance of a therapist resigning after the first 2 visits, it’s like a status effect.

For npc friends(like Serena) he likes that she also kinda doesn’t mind hating on one’s own parents. Like ‘ayyy! Mine are shit too, what a coincidence!’ And of course that serana is kind of ok with just. Not chatting, but being around each other as a way to hang out. Burnt out chosen ones 🤝 not talking constantly bc honestly wtf. How

I’d list more canon characters but the only others I can think of rn are either government officials or gelebor. Sooooo

For something that they like about him, I think all of them have a general appreciation for his skill in combat. Learning how to fight early on has its perks! Especially the ones that have low health, it’s very nice to have a bit of a tank as a teammate

Otherwise I think they like that he’s always up for pretty much anything. Wanna go to that old abandoned crypt that’s definitely full of cultists? Why not! Wanna rebuild an entire town from the ground up? How hard could it be! Wanna talk about our feelings? Ok maybe not that one very much but he’ll get back to ya!

16 What was the happiest moment of their life?

I think it would have to be a few days after the dawnguard questline tbh. Hasn’t killed alduin yet but honestly? It’s good to know that he CAN kill him, or at least that he’ll have a chance. He’s still got a long way to go, sure, but knowing that you’re doing something right is always nice.

22 If they had to pick up an instrument, what would they choose?

Ooh that’s a tough one. In Skyrim he’d prolly do a lute, for lack of any other really interesting instruments(other than a flute but like. Meh). If he could choose a modern instrument it would either be the drums or an electric guitar. Why? Cause he’d look cool.

42 Let them vent for a second, without the fear of being judged. What would they like to say?

“Ughhh well. I’ll admit I’m not feeling great. I mean like just in general I’m not but I really am not feeling great right now. How i feel about their canonical writing/handling

mmmm,, she is so so so fucking system and i really wish she belonged to anyone but linuj. do u guys remember when i said hm maybe the otono twins were abused by their parents and thats why kanade took control of the situation by hurting the one person she could who would always have to be around her? and then a few months later linuj was like oh kanade is just born evil shes inherently bad because i think thats fun and cool^^ ? i remember. i remember very well.

i think,, hibiki was just ultimately underused. and like. it sucks and was bullshit what happened but also i Understand it within what it did narratively. even if i think linuj kinda dicked up the way it couldve affected the tone of the game. buuut. really the largest disservice that happened was like. the way she ultimately had no agency. according to linuj, no matter what, kanade would be Like That, and hibiki would get hurt, and the end. im not saying what happened to her was her fault, thats not what i mean when i say she has no agency, i mean. there was no in universe reason for what happened, not at the end of the day. she was doomed from conception in and out of universe and it just sucks and makes her feel flat because u cant even go what if not without completely ignoring the way linuj writes a wholeass character. hoping that all makes sense?

buuut yeah. tldr. she couldve been vv well written and handled well, even with her ultimate fate staying the same. but by admitting there's absolutely no way hibiki could have made it out okay, not even a "well, the cards would never line up like this, but if x had happened, and then y, then kanade would've fucked off", but making it that no matter what, kanade is gonna do what she did. it just kinda leaves a bad taste about things

she actually is a person who exists outside of what kanade did <3. yes she has that puppet state sure whatever but also she's part of a system and has alters and one of them is "puppet state" but the others have hopes and desires and likes and etc etc.

My personal opinions on TFP Wheeljack !

how I feel about the character:

He seems pretty neat, from the first impression to the second-- and everything after that. He's one of my favorite Autobots! I liked his relation with Bulkhead a lot and with Miko too! Though-- kinda felt like he was a slight bit of a more bad influence in terms of being the fuel to her more chaotic side? Definitely wished to see a more prominent battle between him and Dreadwing though. Just two well-knowledged bots who know how to work their ways around explosives (well-- Dreadwing sorta knows more from what I'm guessing but still).

OTP:

Ratchet and Wheeljack. The moment that he called Ratchet "sunshine" was a moment that never left my mind and left me to smash the "SHIP" button in my brain harder.

OT3:

Surprisingly? Bulkhead, Arcee, and Wheeljack. I was very invested in Arcee and Wheeljack's little moment together during the one episode where Knockout kidnapped Fowler and June. And-- I like both the dynamic they have with Bulkhead! Plus, I like the idea of them having a poly-sort of grouping and if its not in a romantic way. I'd still love it even more as a platonic sort of thing.

NOTP:

M. I don't very much like Starjack (Starscream & Wheeljack) or the ship consisting of Dreadwing and Wheeljack together in reference to just canon-wise. I'd dig it if it was written better outside of the show itself!-- but uh. Something about shipping Wheeljack with his captor and torturer rubs me wrong. Along with shipping him with Dreadwing, someone who killed another close wrecker he was friends with.

A headcanon I personally have is that he plays a cybertronian version of a fiddle really well-- or that he just likes country music and prolly blasts it while driving around and out of the base.
