how many jemily fanfics can I reasonably write? like I know I lack discipline and motivation but that's not what I'm talking about... like within canon, is it too much to write about every single way jemily could've gone?

like the one where jj and will never happened

and the one where they actually broke up in miami? because when will told her that he wouldn't have cared that his friend was gay because he loved him and wanted him to be happy she realized that she didn't have to hide either and she could be gay

and the one where they don't break up in miami and when emily tells her she should go for will jj does because she thinks her crush on emily is pointless and hopeless but emily told her to go for will because she thought her crush on jj was hopeless too

also the one where will actually dies, remember emily trying to get the bomb off will? well this is the one where jj begs emily to leave, "please Emily, I can't lose you both. I can't lose you both."

and the one where will lives but the fear of losing him is as strong as the fear of losing emily so jj doesn't get married because she's too confused

and also the one where once jj hallucinate that emily comes to save her and when emily actually does jj starts to realize she has some unresolved feelings about emily

and the one with weekend visits to Paris and late night calls that set the perfect situation for them to realize how much they need each other

the one where on a drunken night out they have sex (because the cheating trope cannot be missing from here, I'm sorry) and the both say it's a mistake even though emily is thinking that the mistake is not doing it sooner and jj feels bad about cheating on will but she's starting to think that maybe being with will is the mistake but they say it's a mistake because they work together and it's all way too complicated and even if it wasn't and even if they start dating they wouldn't be able to work together anymore and breaking up the team is selfish and jj is married after all so it has to be a mistake and they have to take it back and they have to be 100% professionals and it's killing them both

and the one where jj ends it with will and they do start secretly dating but of course the whole team notices there's something going on with them

and the one where they don't start dating and everything is too much so when the team kinda breaks up they are relieved but then when the team gets back together they realize that their feelings are as strong as ever

and of course the one occurring during evolution, where there's stuff going on with will and jj and jj realizes she cannot longer pretend she isn't still madly in love with emily

those are the ones on the top of my head and I feel like each one is necessary but... is it too much?

*Disclaimer/Summary: This completely Fictional Character is based on the way Lizzie plays old-fashioned Housewives. (Some inspo is taken from WandaVision, I Saw The Light, and Love & Death) This character is in no way a portrayal of any real-life people. Audrey Williams and Candy Montgomery were real people that Lizzie has portrayed for entertainment purposes in tv & film. This story is not about them. I just want to see Lizzie play a 70s-80s housewife that is secretly Gay and stuck in a religious small-town in the South. Since she has never done that but has played the part of perfect housewife I decided to make my own character.* I will be using edited pictures from the characters she has played and unaltered gifs since it's way too hard to edit those.*

Character Description since this is a made up character: mid length-wavy-dark brown hair (think more the length in I saw the Light like it falls to her collar bones but the deep dark brown from goth Wanda era, Emerald Green eyes, Wears form fitting dresses and high waisted pants and skirts.

“Maybe someday you could. We won’t be here forever. Theo's company estimates maybe a few years.”

Her face drops and you can see the sadness in her eyes. “Oh.”

Her eyes filled with tears and her bottom lip trembled. “No. No. Don’t cry.”

You reached for her cheek and she sat up quickly. “What the fuck Y/N?”

Angry tears raced down her cheeks and you rushed to sit up. You went to reach for her again but she swatted your hand away. “Don’t.”

“I’m sorry. Shirley, I was hoping to talk to you about this differently.”

“We just. You just said you love me! We just made love Y/N! Now you are telling me what exactly?"

"I'm telling you this because I love you. Can't you see. I want you. We could be together easier in Cali."

"I can't just leave my family, Y/N. You know that."

"No, your family would come too. I want you and your girls and there is something I've been meaning to talk to you about but I think now might be a bad time.."

She raised her voice but it was still broken. "A bad time? Something worse than you moving away!?!"

"Fuck!" You run your hands through your hair and take a deep breath. "Shirley, I don't plan on leaving you unless you want me to."

She glanced away and you could see she didn't believe you. "Huh it sounds like you are leaving me."

"I'm not."

"Then explain. What is the worst thing?"

"Well, I am not sure it's worse than you thinking I'm leaving but I just well it's complicated. I don't know how you will react."

She sighed and rubbed her forehead. "Just say it."

"I think well Theo and I, we think John is, mmm might be, gay."

"What?"

"It's just he cares about his appearance a lot. He, according to Theo, acts a bit shy in the bathroom and we just see it. We could be wrong. You know him best. Does he shower for longer than 10 minutes? Does he prefer fucking you from behind? Does he want to fuck you all the time or is it more special occasions?"

She looked shocked. "You and Theo think John is gay?"

"Yes and Theo has a bit of a thing for John if I'm being honest."

"Oh my God. John has commented on Theo's appearance a few times. He actually wants us all to be friends. What the fuck? John loves me though."

"I know he does that is obvious to everyone but does he lust after you? Like how I lust after you. You know lots of staring and eye contact especially in bed. If he isn't looking at you in awe every time he fucks you then he might be picturing someone else. Have you ever pictured someone else while you have sex with him?"

She bit her bottom lip and ran her hands through her hair then ran her hands over her face. "Oh God, is my entire life a lie?"

"No, it's just different than you thought. You love John but it's different than how you love me right?"

She nodded yes and took a deep breath. You gave her a reassuring smile. "This could be really good."

"Good."

You reach out and take her hand and she finally lets you. "Good."

She sighed and brought her free hand up to squeeze the bridge of her nose. "What am I supposed to do now Y/N?"

"Well we take things one step at a time. Do you think that John would ever have an affair if Theo proposed one?"

She twisted her lips in thoughts. "Well if you had asked before we had this little conversation I would have said absolutely not but now I don't know how well I really know my husband."

You nod and squeeze her hand "okay take a deep breath this is a lot."

"You think?"

You pull her closer and wrap your hands around her. "I think maybe we should take a step back and relax."

You kissed the side of her head and pulled her face into view so you could kiss her forehead and cheeks and chin. You capture her lips in a passionate kiss. She kisses back quickly deepening the kiss. She sucks on your bottom lip and moans into the kiss. She pushes you back and straddles your lap. Her hand travels down between the two of you. Her long fingers quickly find purchase and you throw your head back in a moan. You move your hand between you and quickly match her movements.

She drops her head on your shoulder as her breaths heat your skin. Your movements sync as your hips chase the pleasure. She bites your neck and sucks on your skin. You dig your blunt nails into her shoulder with your free hand.

You lose yourself in the feeling of having her inside you while being inside her. Everything feels heightened. Your bodies tighten even as you resist falling into pleasure. You want this to last and you can feel she does too. Your bodies tremble and stutter and your hips jerk against each other. You both tumble over the edge blissed out. Her full weight collapses on top of you as she breathes out. You both hold onto each other tightly like letting go would change everything.

Things feel different and you both know that nothing will ever be the same. You breathe her in trying to memorize her sweet scent. The way her weight feels on top of you, the way she holds you tighter as she comes down from her high. You hold her tighter and kiss the skin of her shoulder and neck trying to ground yourself in her.

Time passes and you are truly unsure how long you both lay there holding each other. Eventually your breaths even and both of your grips on each other lighten gradually. She lifts her head up and kisses your lips softly before rolling slightly off of you. She sighed out. “I don’t want to leave this moment, I don't want to face reality.”

You let out a deep sigh. “I wish we could stay like this forever.”

“What do we do now?”

“We have time to take things slowly. Would you be okay if Theo tested the water with John? Or have you heard of swinging? We could work on developing the friendship and then propose swinging.”

“I am not sure if it brings me comfort or concern that you have really thought about all this.”

She laughs nervously and you grab and squeeze her hand. “I know it’s a lot.”

She blows out a dramatic breath letting her lips vibrate and make a cute sound. “No kidding. Uh I guess it would be good to improve our friendship as couples Theo can do whatever he wants. I have heard of swinging but it is not something that happens around here. I read about it in a magazine and was too scared to talk to John about it. I don’t know how he would react to such a thing.”

You nod and smile. “Let's just start with game nights and going on double dates things like that.”

She agreed with the nod of her head.

Time seemed to be on your side as things moved smoothly. Soon it became routine to see Shirley for your little afternoon delights then again at church events and what was quickly becoming more fun and easy going game nights and weekend hangouts with the Carter family. You and Theo developed a strong bond with the girls and John was easily falling into a best friendship with Theo. Flirtatious glances and fun nights as a group felt right. Things sort of fell into place.

It didn’t take long for Theo to break through and truly connect with John. Theo helped John come into himself and see the truth. Theo even helped settle John when he told him about the love affair that Shirley had with you. Now that he knows things have gotten easier and far more fun. You can mark Shirley's delicate skin without worry and you do. You mark every inch possible. You bite and suck your marks all over her. Beyond that it has allowed for her to spend the night with you and even for you to spend the night at her house. The domesticity you craved with her is finally yours. Well mostly. There are plans for buying a house as a group in Cali so it can be more full time.

There is love and happiness among you all and it is the most wonderful thing you have ever been a part of. You have longed for something like this your entire life and you finally have it. The future looks bright and you can’t wait to return to Cali and live free and easy and fall asleep with Shirley in your arms every night and wake her every morning.

A/N: Sorry this is so short but it is wrapping up. There will be one more, probably short as well, part that shows them all in the future. I hope you all have enjoyed this silly little story that was solely inspired by the way Elizabeth Olsen plays these types of 70s & 80s Housewife characters. I have had a hard time figuring out how to end this but I knew when I started I wanted it to be light and fun. We need more movies and shows where Lizzie’s character is not a sad girl even though I love all her sad girl characters.

2- Friends to Lovers

Cake and Seeiw, My Only 12%

I am so annoyed at this show for fucking it up in the last hour and a half because I enjoyed so much of this for so long. I think it is truly one of the only true friends to lovers stories that exist. Because these two knew each other for a very long time, they were friends for a very long time, and they are separated for a very long time. And then Cake returns, and feelings change, and we start in on the more traditional, “friends to lovers” where one person is secretly pining while they wait for the other to catch wise. I remember liking this show a lot, and I remember deciding never to recommend it to anyone because they wasted the last episode and a half of the show on one long PSA against third-hand smoke.

YOU KNOW WHAT, NO. SCRATCH THAT BECAUSE I HAVE A BETTER ONE

Cheep and Deej, My Ride

TELL ME WHY THE ESTABLISHED GAY UNCLES THAT ACT AS LIKE A FOURTH COUPLE IN MY RIDE HAVE ONE OF THE STRONGEST EXECUTIONS OF THE FRIENDS TO LOVERS TROPE. They worked together for years, the both had other partners, and then when they got broken up with, their mutual loneliness and platonic fondness for each other led them to spend more time around each other, to care more for each other, and slowly, over time that platonic, friendly tending turned in to romantic feelings. And here they are decades later still taking care of each other even as the years have put their feelings for each other in a new, matured stage.

15- Love Triangle

This trope is hard because most things we call love triangles aren’t actually a triangle, it’s a V. Usually I feel like a “love triangle” is two people competing for the affection of one person with the object of that affection having an extremely clear preference. So once again, I am going unconventional here

Siam, Inthawut, Wang, 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us

Okay so this is not a BL, and the love here is not necessarily romantic, but holy shit is it just such a brilliant execution of what I would consider an non-traditional love triangle. Siam loves Inthawut but Inthawut is a coward and pushes Siam towards Mol. Siam loves Wang, so much so he stays in that relationship for longer than he should. Wang loves Siam in the way a person can love a thought, because that is his father and he never got to know him. Wang loves Ithawut because Mol refuses to tell him anything about Siam and In is the strongest connection that he has to his father’s memory. Inthawut loves Wang…but not really. He loves Wang because Wang has Siam’s face, he loves Wang because he does not see Wang, he sees Siam, and that love hurts, and that love breaks him and has always broken him. Siam is this hole in the narrative where a person should be, and it is because of the love they have for Siam that we get everything that comes in 180 Degree.

18- Slow Burn

Mork and Tawan, My Ride

THE QUINTESSENTIAL SLOW BURN. They both are aware of their feelings from very early on, but Tawan has a boyfriend so they cannot be together. Because Mork is respectful, and doesn’t want to ruin Tawan’s relationship if it is something good for Tawan. And Tawan is still desperately clinging to this idea that Por and him can be together if he just gets better. I think what I love so much about this show, and I will say it over and over again, is the reciprocity. Tawan and Mork before they are ever in a relationship are just constantly taking care of each other because they are nice people. And there is no a malicious bone in their of their bodies. Mork sees that Tawan is being cheated on, and is he at any point even briefly happy knowing that this obstacle to him getting with Tawan could be cleared? NO. HE IS DEVASTATED FOR TAWAN. I love them. I love them so much. I wish them a long and happy life together, and while i am usually a happy for now kind of person, if you were to ask me for one couple that would make it until the end of time together, this is who I would say.

Sebastian and ASS Squad Headcanons!

It was actually Sebastian that inspired Sam to start a band! Seb knows the keyboard by the time Sam is wanting to start a band, and I imagine it was him playing something for Sam that sparked the idea!

Speaking of the band, poor Abigail had to sit through hours of Sam going on and on about what it would be like when they're famous before she eventually gave in and joined (it's not like she didn't secretly like the things Sam was talking about nooo never).

I'm on the fence about Seb being a natural ginger or not, but I do think he dyes his hair a lot. Whether it be highlights or his whole head, he and Abby do it all the time together. He mostly dyes it red or blue while Abby is emptying her bottle of purple hair dye for the tenth time that week.

Seb has modded Prairie King for Abigail to make it easier for her. She repaid him by still failing the game.

Sam annoys the hell out of Seb by calling him emo - turns out he actually finds the word annoying. It's mostly due to Sam not shutting up about it, but he also dealt with a bit of bullying in school for it. He'll still use it himself though when he's making jokes.

He does really care for Maru; he just hates to show it. Demetrius is still rotting in hell, but deep down he knows it's not Maru's fault. He takes a lot of inspiration from her inventions and has made a few models of them.

Sebastian gets along with Elliott surprisingly well. it mostly started over Elliott hearing him play keyboard and asking him about it, and from there they grew kind of close! They won't really hang out, but they talk at the saloon on Fridays, catching up on how the other is going.

Thanks to his unlikely friend, Seb listens to classical every now and then. Sam found out and has not let it go. The only reason they aren't being blackmailed into doing all his bidding is because Sam is so forgetful.

Sam is banned from Abigail's kitchen. Let's just say he set the toaster on fire, because that's exactly what happened. Abby walked in like "I smell something burning. Sam?" to see their friend freaking out trying to blow her toaster out like it was a birthday candle. He got a massive talking to after and isn't allowed within two feet of the kitchen tiles.

Sebastian has had multiple pet frogs. The kicker is nobody but him knows about them. When he was a kid, he took one home and put it in a cardboard box under his bed. It lived surprisingly well for being fed leftover dinner.

Seb is 25, and Maru is 21, so he spent very little time with his father. But the memories he holds of him are very strong. When he and Maru were little, they were a ride-or-die pair of siblings. They helped each other cheat on tests all the time. It's only when Demetrius found out and only got mad at Seb did a rift begin to form between them.

If Seb could have any other job, he would want to participate in motorsport races. I mean, he has a bike and he's Sebastian. You can't tell me he hasn't broken a few laws doing tricks.

He used to have a little thing for Sam when they first moved to the valley. He got over it pretty quick though and moved onto Abigail. But it was his "Ah shit, I'm gay" moment.

He has heterochromia. I mean this HC is mostly because his eyes don't match on his different sprites, but his right eye is green! It's usually covered by his hair, so people don't tend to notice.

One reason he hates the beach is because he got stung by a jellyfish. It hurt more than normal because he's extremely sensitive to pain. It wasn't that bad, but this HC is coming from someone who got 1 cm worth of stray jellyfish bits on the webbing between their fingers and cried. God bless the ocean.

Also, he's autistic, with a special interest in programming. This is coming from an autistic person, btw.

How much of the lies/rumors about MJ are due to the general public's insistence that he must be gay, and then their own homophobia about that idea?

Oh, a whole lot - and don't forget the sexism and racism, as they are a core part of it too (reminder to everyone that the "Wacko Jacko" nickname The Sun gave to him was comparing him to a monkey toy, something Michael was obviously mad about).

Long before the drastic changes to his looks, or the wild rumors, Michael was already seen as weird because he did not fit the stereotype of men in general (and black men in particular).

He was kind, nurturing, good with kids, emotional, shy, naive, and his biggest dream was being a parent - these are still largely seen as "female" traits today. Michael grew up in the sixties and seventies.

Even more "shocking", he was a black man that was not really aggressive, and not only was he not hypersexual, he was OPENLY voicing his discomfort with people prying into his business/insisting that, come on, he HAD to be into fucking groupies, strippers and hookers like most guys in the industry, right?

Add in him being a fashion icon and wearing a ton of make-up that gave him a bit of an androgynous look every now and then, and you have people CONVINCED he must be into men.

And once again, homophobes still think gay = pedo to this day. Michael was born in 1958. He was already the target of gay rumors, and treated like a big freak for it, before AIDS was a thing. Before "Don't ask, don't tell." Laws forbidding same-sex relationships between consenting adults had not been deemed inconstitutional in the USA until 2003.

It's crazy to me that plenty of so called "progressive" people today act are still willing to pretend there's any real evidence against him, not just because the freaking FBI was secretly investigating him for 13 years and found nothing, but because the so called "Red flags" in Michael's behavior was literally just a bunch lies to make a (supposedly) gay man look like a predator.

But there's still one more factor contribuiting to Michael being labeled as gay: people not understanding that men can be sexually abused AND be traumatized by it because "guys always want sex."

Before he had even reached ten years of age, Michael Jackson had to sing in strip clubs (and in his own words, see adults acting like animals), had to hear his brothers having sex with groupies in the same room he was in (and it wasn't uncommon for the girls to be treated horribly, which deeply upset him), had to deal with his father cheating on his mom in the next room, and during some performances, while interacting with the audience he was made to look under the skirts of adult women to play the role of "pervy kid" even after he repeatedly told everyone in the Jackson 5 team, including his father, that he DID NOT WANT TO DO THAT.

Seriously, IMAGINE if the roles were reversed and a bunch of adults were making a 7-year-old girl pulled down the pants of grown men to see their underwear/genitals as a "joke."

As Michael became a teenager, the situation only got worse, as all of the adults who never heard the word "boundaries" in their lives were bothered by the fact that Michael was not going around having sex with a bunch of women like brothers were, so they kept paying prostitutes go to "help him out". His older sister, Rebbie, said in an interview that a male relative of theirs paid two women to take the virginity of 15-year-old Michael and locked him a room with them against his will, hoping he'd just "give in." She did not say if the women actually managed to do anything with her brother.

Again, IMAGINE the reactions if an adult man locked a 15-year-old girl in a room with two adult men that were paid to have sex with her, despite both her age AND THE FACT THAT SHE ISN'T THERE WILLINGLY! People would rightfully be disturbed by it and if anything happened, it'd be considered abuse and the relative in question would be a proxy-rapist.

But Michael was a "man" (he was a freaking kid, my god) and "guys always want it", so him not being cool with this was seen as him being weird and a "faggot."

There's a reason bastards like Evan Chandler picked false accusations of pedophilia to extort Michael - they knew people didn't understand nor empathize with the real reason for Michael's "weirdness."

And sadly enough, things aren't much different now.

I know what you mean about the neither confirming nor denying thing. Like I can see it as not wanting to take away from the Colin moment, and it was definitely left in a way that can be interpreted positively and I think unless they outright say otherwise, a lot of fandom will take it as a yes, he is. That said, that was the perfect time to confirm, just one line, and I will feel cheated if they dont let him acknowledge it. I am slightly more forgiving of actors teasing a character's sexuality if it seems like actually they are 100% behind it (a la Oscar Isaac with Poe, and I do think Phil with Jamie), but I will be more disappointed in the show for teasing it and not going ahead

Yeah, and you know, I’m so done settling and rejoicing over hints when the creators don’t have the backbone to make something canon. So I have a hard time giving them the benefit of the doubt right now.

Maybe they will surprise me positively, but … the more I think about this, the more it upsets me.

@time-is-restored also makes a good point here, that sleep deprived me forgot about.

The whole situation where everyone on the team looked at him like “We know what you are” was quite unsettling to me—that is not a group of queer people recognising one of their own. That is a group of straight guys singling out one in their middle because he looks/seems gay to them.

Are they stereotyping Jamie because he cares for his appearance? (which is like the only context I can think of, where “I’m flattered” makes sense as a response to me—”They think I’m gay because I’m stylish and hot, so it is a compliment”) Or do they think when Jamie talked about being too “soft” for his dad in season 1, he actually meant “gay”?

The most generous view I can come up with is, that Jamie has dated no one since Keeley and they’re collectively like “He is so hot, and also fun and kind and supportive, him being single makes no sense unless he is gay”. Like, from a fannish perspective I could also go “Haha, after Amsterdam they probably think Roy and Jamie are secretly dating”, but there is like zero proof they might actually think that.

And honestly, as much as I enjoy interpreting every little choice on the show: The average viewer doesn’t do that. The average viewer will look and jump to the first conclusion that makes sense to them, which likely will be stereotyping.

Someone (like Trent) should have called that out.

I could generously interpret the whole exchange as giving a huge hint to casual viewers: “Jamie is perceived as queer, just so you know for future reference 😉”, but still the entire scene doesn’t sit well with me. And they could have accomplished the same result in a way where Jamie actually has agency about this.

Since also, by singling Jamie out, they basically forced him to make a statement, either forcing him to lie or to come out even when he may not be ready for it, which is super shitty behaviour. (So I could also read the “I’m flattered” as him deflecting, like he knows he is bi but doesn’t feel like coming out yet and assumed they clocked him because of his appearance.)

Add to this that Colin basically was forced to come out because of the circumstances and couldn’t actually decide on his own account when and how to come out. (Which is like the opposite of what I wanted)

And we didn’t even get the how, because it was more important to focus on the straight allies 🤡 Like, if the writers didn’t want to take away from Colin’s moment, they could have made it more about Colin? (Yes, he didn't want to be a spokesperson, but it would still have been nice to have him actually say "I am gay" in front of his mates.)

I liked the conversation Roy and Isaac had and think it was necessary (partly for my queer Roy agenda), but instead of giving us this cringeworthy talk by Ted, they could have given Colin more room for his own coming out—and then have Ted reassure him, that they care about him with a story that is about Ted not caring enough about someone who actually was queer and regretting that.

Gosh, the more my brain wakes up, the more upset I get lol

(And yes, I am usually quite forgiving with actors, since they don’t have control over their franchise, but no matter how much I adore Phil, the way he constantly brings up Roy x Jamie as a possibility is going a bit too far at this point if he is only joking.)

Encanto HC - Luisa Characterization

I've never liked the idea that Luisa or any other buff female character must obviously be gay or trans thing. The whole, 'let's make the big, strong, buff girl a lesbian' is actually super sexist & bigoted! Stereotypical even!

Like, a girl can't be a little freaking masculine unless she's into girls or is secretly trans? It's just… stupidly typical & honestly kinda boring to boot.

Like, I grew up a tomboy & I like guys & dresses & feeling pretty.

Like, "BITCH, I just like wearing pants, collecting Pokemon cards, & playing with the boys! That doesn't mean I don't like like boys & romance & maybe dresses too sometimes! Quit stuffing me in your stupid box & let me watch DBZ & Barbie movies!"

Like, if she's gay or trans, then fine, whatever! But don't just automatically assume that's what she is!

In all honesty, I really like the idea that Luisa actually really enjoys feminine things & looking pretty, but she just doesn't do it often because her power places this expectation upon her to be strong & stable which are, traditionally, very masculine traits.

I remember seeing this fanart of her sisters giving her a makeover & when she sees herself, she's super happy. I thought it was sweet.

I also really like the hc that Luisa is a history & mythology buff.

Aside from that, I get the feeling that it's also hard to find a guy who's willing to date her as her strength can probably come across as intimidating. So, I can see her getting her heart broken a lot over the years due to either being turned down or learning that whatever guy had gone out with her was either scared to turn her down or had done so to win a bet.

Either way, I think her ideal guy would be a chef or baker who always makes sure that she has the energy she needs to keep healthy. Will encourage her to rest, but not be forceful about it. Who values strength & hard work & thus admires all that Luisa does for the Encanto. Who is strong himself (obviously not as strong as Luisa, but still) & thus doesn't need her help as much as others, so she doesn't have to worry as much about him. At the same time, he doesn't mind when she wants to lend a hand, but actually much prefers it when she helps him cook than lifting things as that's how his family used to bond growing up.

I could see him being really chill & down to earth. Not overly emotional, but warm & generous all-the-same. He could be a retired member of the Military Forces of Colombia. Modestly ranked, but he also used to struggle with his own PTSD & has a lot of experience with helping others handle their anxiety & stress. Older than her, but had to retire early due to an injury. (You choose his age.)

Had a fiancée previously, but when he was sent home due to his injury, he found that she'd been cheating on him. She begged him not to break it off, but his trust in her was broken. He fell into a depression for a couple of years before deciding that he needed a change. That's when he'd heard about the Encanto. I imagine that it's sort of like El Dorado, meaning you can't just randomly take a bus there. So, he had to go searching for it. He'd always had a thing for treasure hunting anyway.

I think he'd look good with a beard & mustache. Something rugged.

Just an overall good, sturdy, stalwart man.

I could see Luisa being into guys who are even taller than her due to a subconscious desire to be taken care of or supported.

And if he's strong enough to pick her up & carry her, then hoohoohoo! She's melting! She's meeeeltiiing~🎶!

Feeling delicate & dainty is just such a foreign thing for her, but it's also super addictive. Because it makes her feel normal & desirable & pretty, which has always been Isa's thing & something Luisa never thought she could have for herself because she was 'the strong one.'

So, I can definitely see her being very lovestruck by a guy who makes her feel like this.

She initially wouldn't believe him when he calls her beautiful, thinking he's just telling her what she wants to hear, but once she realizes that he's being genuine, oh my goodness! She's just... She giggles! Just giggles!

Edit: I might name the guy Armando Panadero. Armando meaning "army man" & Panadero being the Spanish equivalent of the surname Baker. Basically, a person who makes bread. It's also a Spanish dance, similar to the flamenco, so he might enjoy dancing.

How come you hate kokichi so much? You’ve mentioned a few things before but I don’t know if you’ve ever gone into depth about it. I’m just curious

It’s...Complicated.

this is really long so I’m putting this under a cut

I can’t lie, a big part of the reason I was turned off of Ouma as a character was because of the way the fandom treated and characterised him. Like, we have someone who is very clearly meant to be a villain who openly doesn’t care about the people around him dying not to mention fucKING CHAPTER 4. But how does the fandom treat him? “UWU CUTE GAY LIAR BABY HE’S SO SMART AND ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS! HE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG!” ...Yeah. Suuuuuuuure.

“He did nothing wrong”? Chapter 4. “He’s a good person”? He’s a fucking bully. “He’s uwu cute gay”? Being LGBTQ+ doesn’t automatically excuse a person’s actions.

And also looking back on some of his writing, it kinda doesn’t really make much sense.

We never get any reason why he acts the way he does. Why he’s willing to lie, cheat, bully and kill through loopholes to get his way. Like, the general fandom consensus is he had some kind of abusive background, so he has to be a good person. Okay, one: general fandom consensus isn’t canon. Two: where’s the evidence for this in canon? (and don’t say pregame because pregame Ouma has even less behind him than ingame Ouma) Three: Having an abusive background doesn’t automatically excuse a person’s actions. Even if Kodaka said straight up what his backstory is, that doesn’t make him a good person. It’d add to his character, sure, but it doesn’t automatically redeem his actions.

Not to mention if you look at it a second time, his whole “it’s a lie” thing kinda falls apart. At least 90% of his statements are followed by “it’s a lie!” so what are we meant to believe? Nothing? Then we don’t have a character at all. Yeah, liar characters can work. Take a look at Celeste for example. Her character is based on lies, but she actually has something if you take that away. Specifically her hate of being “normal”, and the existence of Taeko. Ouma? If you take his lies away, there’s nothing behind it. Yeah the idea of “there is no truth, there’s only lies” sounds good on paper, but it kinda falls flat if that’s all you focus on.

And before anyone brings up the “BUT HE SAID HE WANTED TO END THE KILLING GAME IN CHAPTER 5″ thing. One. Remember that his back was against the wall and he desperately needed Kaito to cooperate in his plan? Two. Remember his whole thing about being a liar? Yeah. Frankly I call bullshit on him secretly wanting to end the killing game the whole time. And before anyone comes at me for this, I have actual proof towards this theory. “What proof?” Glad you asked. He had the perfect opportunity to end the killing game altogether in chapter 1.

RIGHT. FUCKING. HERE. It’s been established at least a hundred times over that Ouma can tell whenever people are lying. So if he REALLY wanted the killing game to end this whole time, why didn’t he call Tsumugi out? According to what the canon itself has established, he would’ve known that she was lying. So he had perfect reason to call her out on her bullshit. But. He. Didn’t. And THAT, is why the whole “he secretly wanted the killing game to end this whole time” idea is total bullshit.

And...I’m gonna get a lot of flack for this, but he’s just unlikeable. He acts like an annoying child, the whole “it’s a lie!” thing gets super grating, he’s a straight-up bully, and chapter 4 drives any redeemability he could’ve had down the drain. Seriously, I just can’t get behind why people like him. let alone ship him with the main protagonist

If you like him, more power to you I guess. but I just can’t get behind him.

Hi y'all it's me again (yeah we know) Anywho today's rant is really going to be kind of serious so stay with me here okay. So I was kind of reading this, book y'know (what's it's name) it's a book (there we go guys I can now confidently tell you it's a fic) maybe it is but essentially this fic was about an affair let me give it to you like this okay.

There's this guy(let's call him John) he hits on a guy(let's call him Jim) at a bar who's a little stiff at first but soon enough they're back at a hotel have a one night stand that's it. Jim left first before John even woke up no leaving any form of contact, no phone number, no nada. Later in the day John gets a a message from Jim on Instagram saying he'd like to keep in touch, John then thinks long and hard about,(for about a minute or so) and just decided to say yes. They keep talking like for a while then Jim just during one of their conversations just casually drops the fact that he spent the day with his in-laws like it's nothing. John was like what and eventually found out Jim was married to a lady. It shocked him, hurt him did alot of things but didn't mean the end of this relationship. Anywho that's where I think the affair officially begun.

Like that's basically the summary of the story and I know that since Jim and John are the protagonists of this story we're supposed to support them and want them to by together and bless their souls but HECK NO! like under no circumstances do I ever find or justify cheating acceptable. I know sometimes people are in relationships they don't really want to be in like they're compelled to be in but like no. I might sound like some self righteous highly pretentious prick or your some kind of Sunday school teacher who says "kill e'm with kindness" but I'm sorry I don't think I get it. Essentially cheating itself has a whole type if definition because let's face it life unlike movies isn't black and white and not everyone gets their picture perfect happy endings. Like I believe cheating on someone is a situation where you don't tell the other partner in this relationship that you're not wholly committed to them like being CRYSTAL CLEAR that you have something with someone else.

And then again I get it, y'know cause this life that we live in is messed up as fuck. Like I remember being like 8'ish and hearing all the negativity towards queer people, particularly gay people an lesbians, those were the ones I basically knew at the time, and thinking why can't a gay guy just marry a lesbian lady so they can understand each other and never have to face critism for being married or generally liking the same gender without actually giving up what they love. Like they can still secretly date and stuff.

Damn think about it, at such a young age I already was thinking about ways to hide things society didn't approve of no matter how much they didn't seem wrong to me.

Like I'm older now, but even as I grew through a those years I started realizing how much more my attraction for ladies, girls, women, people of the female gender was than for makes an did tell you it scared me I would make a comment like how pretty that lady was and like quickly glance around to make sure it wasn't too much or were people going to read into and realize I was even considering not liking guys men boys males whatever. And I like up to by I still haven't admitted to myself that I might like girls like I still tell myself that maybe I just haven't discovered what my type of guy is.

its been a while since i last watched it but yeah basically an inexplicably english colin morgan shows up in camelot and is told Dont Cause Trouble and then saves arthurs life and is assigned as his manservant or something and also he finds a dragon voiced by john hurt locked in the basement and they have five seasons of mild gaying at each other around i think s3 merlin gets a potion that turns him into an old man and he starts doing magic shit out in the open as a wizard called Dragoon the Great who is basically their excuse to have him look like normal merlin. morgana is weird she's just kinda part of the court for Reasons that arent explained until her magic half sister shows up and is like hey you actually have a really convoluted backstory and basically ur arthurs half sister iirc which makes them flirting in the early episodes kinda weird but idk how much they planned out in advance. also morgana's developing powers in the early seasons is a big gay metaphor kinda sometimes but then they contradict that a bunch every so often. uhhhh what else. mordred is a little magic child who merlin helps smuggle out of the city i think ??? at one point. then he comes back in s4/5 i think ? and joins the knights of the round table i think they get a round table eventually anyway. then for Plot Reasons (because hes also secretly magic i think maybe i cant remember) he turns evil and goes to morgana and theres a big dramatic moment where he reveals that the old wizard she keeps fighting is actually merlin and morganas like woah and we the audience are like yeah he looks like merlin with a fake beard. shocking. also anthony head is there as the racist dad but then we're meant to feel sad when he dies for some reason. then again it is anthony head so i was sad that there wouldnt be any more anthony head. theres many plots of episods in the early show thats just "uther experiences consequences for that genocide he did". anyway at the end of the show theres a big battle and mordred stabs arthur and the last episode iirc is arthur and merlin going through the woods and talking as arthur slowly dies meanwhile gwaine and the other knights all probably die i cant really remember but im pretty sure gwaine dies needlessly anyway then arthur finally dies and john hurt dragon (who got freed and was evil in s2 and then still just showed up to give bad advice to merlin every so often through the rest of the show. his advice was usually murder.) gives a speech about how magic is dying SMASH CUT to a truck driving past its the present day and merlin is still chillin and he looks at the lake that he put arthurs body in. credits. also in like s4 theres that weird arc where lancelot gets resurrected as a zombie by morgana and theres mind control nonsense where gwen cheats on arthur with him or something and she maybe gets like banished for a bit ??? also the lady of the lake is merlins girlfriend who was a werewolf thing who then dies and her spirit exists in the pixie lake and then also just in all the water ? its weird. also something about merlin being the incarnation of all magic im pretty sure AND hes the last person who can control dragons by shouting really loud. what else oh yeah theres an episod where anthony head marries a troll

Let's talk about these posts, how they are used and how they are harmful.

Disclaimer ⚠️ : These are just two examples. There are many more posts such as these which exist within the Merlin fandom. Some may not be exactly the same but follow a similar theme.

This is talking about these posts as a whole.

If you are in the Merlin fandom, and have been for a while, you will likely be aware of the hate and racism Gwen Pendragon receives. The hate can vary from direct and blatant racism, to microaggressions or posts such as the ones above.

As you can see in the above images, Gwen is being put down at the expense of Merthur.

Before I continue, this is not a Merthur hate post or page. It is common knowledge within the fandom that Gwen receives hate at the expense of Merthur. And yes, a lot of jokes within the fandom are tied to Merthur and Gwen.

In saying this, it is important to remember eventhough certain ships (such as Merthur) can be tied to the racism Gwen receives, they are not the sole source and reason.

I have used these examples as they are the most popular in the fandom. I have seen these and others around for years, and similar jokes even now are still made.

Both posts are used to sideline and degrade Gwen.

The first post, the scene is Gwen and Arthur are having a picnic. Arthur talks about what he would like to do if he was not prince, speaking about how he would take Gwen and become a farmer. Arthur then mentions how he would also bring Merlin.

The actual response from Gwen in this scene is her smiling about what Arthur said. They then laugh and joke. The bottom image is from when there is a bee near Arthur.

Fans have edited these images to make it seem as though Arthur is thinking about Merlin and Gwen is annoyed at this.

How is this post degrading and sidelining Gwen you may ask?

A common theme amongst the hate Gwen receives as well as post such as these, is that people imply Gwen is jealous of Merlin and Arthur. That she secretly knows they are in a relationship and she hates that.

Gwen is not jealous and never has been jealous. In the show, she has always admired Merlin and Arthur's friendship and how close they are. She understands their love for each other even if they do not admit it themselves. That is shown in the show. It is a fact, not an opinion.

The second post is of a similar theme. It ties into most of what I have said above.

There are constant jokes and comments made about how Merlin and Arthur are in a secret relationship and Gwen is unaware (or according to some, she is aware and jealous).

People have said "Gwen is a beard* for Arthur"

Beard* meaning Arthur is secretly gay and married Gwen because he was forced to.

This (harmful) opinion comes in line with what the second post is about. The top image is a stock image series which has become popular over the last couple of years.

In the different images with these same people, the man is with his presumed girlfriend, but is always looking at another woman in a "she is hot and I fancy her" way.

Basically he goes behind his girlfriend's back to check out other woman and supposedly cheat on her.

Which is what the bottom image also implies with Gwen and Arthur hugging, and Arthur looks over to Merlin. And as you can see, in the stock image the woman hugging the man is aware of what her boyfriend is doing and is annoyed at him.

Like the first image the scene was taken out of context. Arthur looked over to Merlin to say something to him.

Posts and jokes such as these are usually seen as innocent and harmless jokes. However again, they are at the expense of Gwen and her relationship.

Arthur and Gwen's relationship is constantly under fire and invalidated. And unfortunately not a lot of people understand or realise how images such as these have been taken out of context and are made to imply Gwen is someone jealous of her husband or that she is in an unloveable relationship.

Gwen is told she should not be with Arthur. She works better with [redacted]. Arthur and Gwen have no chemistry. Arthur only married her as a cover up for him being gay. The list goes on and on.

These contribute to the harm towards Black women and interracial ships. And eventhough you may just want to share a, what seems, an innocent joke, it is really important that we avoid contributing to subtle racism.

We need to STOP the harmful and inaccurate opinion that Gwen is jealous of Merthur or that Arthur does not really love Gwen.

We CAN ship different people and have lots of different headcanons, opinions and theories WITHOUT harming BIPOC.

Remember the Racism which occur in the Merlin fandom, in the show, towards the characters, towards the fans are much more than fictional ships and characters. There is a deeper and more serious issue rooted in situations such as these and more than simply liking/disliking a ship or a character.

Any posts such as these which sideline and degrade Gwen, should not be posted, laughed at or encouraged. As innocent as you may intend them to be and/or interpret them, they are harmful. And subtle racism is able to continue due to these posts being "just a joke" or "some innocent fun".

Random Headcanon's for the Scream Character's

Billy really was a normal sweet kid and a good boyfriend before his mom left. Everyone paints him as always being crazy and his mom just triggered him but I honestly don't think that's true. Sidney and her parents would not have been okay with her dating a bad boy from Sophomore year onward. Sure it happens and maybe she saw past it but If Sidney would have seen how Billy acted with Randy in the videostore; instant break up imo. He could not have hid that side of himself for two years straight. Remember, they were dating a whole year prior to Maureen cheating. My theory is he may or may not have had a 'side' to him or other undiagnosed disorder in his gene pool (Mrs Loomis snapping too.) but Billy's psychotic breakdown was mostly situational + groomed by Roman and there were other things in his life that probably were boiling over and Debbie leaving him completely broke him. So, he was in an extremely vulnerable state when Roman came around and molded him. THAT is why Sidney trusted him so much in Scream before the phone incident and even somewhat after. Because Billy was a good boyfriend before her mom's murder and she would have never suspected it. Now how her or no one else could see him tumbling into madness or at least deep depression before Roman sank his talons in is beyond me. Maybe she did and he shrugged her off? Either way, the situation made him shut down all empathy towards other people and changed him. His empathy is towards his mom, possibly his dad since Hank never died and that is it. He has symptoms of a psychopath and even though that is usually genetic I 100% think a psychotic breakdown could do it as well.(Don't come for me bitch I'm not trained in any of this just using what I know from research 🧍‍♀️) If his mom never left and Roman didn't come along; Billy would have never been a killer

Contrary to Billy's situational psychological crazyness. Stu was always going to kill. I don't even think it's is he a sociopath vs a psychopath argument as much as he is just disconnected from reality. (Though he would most likely be a Sociopath if he was bc of his lack of boundaries as well impulsive behavior. Thinking killing was a game.) Stu possibly suffered abuse as a child. He was terrified of his parents more than the law. Either A. They abused him and permanently terrified him. Or B. He really has a stunted mentality and thinks of killing as a game and fears his parents more than the law bc the consequences are just not clicking LIKE A KID. He's like a giant little kid with no sense of how things work. He still could have been abused and that is what stunted his growth mentally. However, his violent tendacies were always there. Never preplanned just urgent anger or sadistic glee he couldn't control. Billy just suggested the killings and he was instantly down. Like, hell yeah cool. Most ppl no matter what mental illness they have or how severe are not that easy to convince. Whose to say he hadn't killed before or was planning to? My theory is he is so disconnected from reality that killing really is a giant fun game to him and he would have eventually murdered someone even without Billy.

Idk why this isn't more thought of throughout the fandom. Billy and Stu did not rape Maureen bc the evidence would have pointed to someone other than the guy they were framing. Cotton Weary had sex with Maureen, left, Billy and Stu taunted her on the phone and lured her away, they killed her, police suspected rape bc A. they didn't know about the affairs. B. Cotton's semen or her discharge or bruising being there. They naturally assumed it was rape but in actuality no one raped her. Cotton's dna from their affair incriminated him even more. Not saying that Billy and Stu would think of rape as morally wrong enough not to do in their book BUT it would have been stupid on their part and made it obvious there were other suspects besides Cotton.

Stu isn't a lapdog. Stu literally revealed on the phone he was going to throw Billy under the bus. He hesitated giving him the knife. Stu is like a kid. He most likely suffered trauma that regressed his mental age. He's eager to please, desperate for attention and most likely fawns over people he feels close to in an obsessive way. He could have even been in love with Billy and vice versa which is why he was so eager to please him. However, he was not nearly as stupid or a lapdog as much as the fandom makes him out to be. I think Randy saying it in the videostore sealed the deal for people even though he was only acting like that bc he was helping Billy too and covering their tracks. Billy was the one with the plan. Stu just tagged along out of the urge to kill. But he 100% had his own plan to kill and bail if needed. My mind is made up on that.

There was a third killer in Scream and it wasn't a teen or Roman. You're telling me two 17-18 yr old guys could come up with every detail? Roman only told Billy the basics. How did they get tactical police shoes? How did they get to the houses so fast and leave just as quickly? How did they both take down and restrain Steve or Neil by themselves enough to tie them up? Sure, Stu was deranged and tall but these two lanky teens were able to take on a football player with muscles and a grown man? Possible but stil meh to me. Their plan was too thorough for two teen boys to come up with on their own. Both crazy. One completely unhinged and disconnected from reality and the other so blinded by revenge he was stupid at times. (Fucking stabbing yourselves before killing Neil and Sidney. Not even thinking to AT LEAST tie Sidney up as well...Really? Jill was smarter in 4 in that respect tbh.) I truly think their was an adult involved in Scream helping them or guiding them. I would say Roman if it wasn't for him going back to Hollywood. But Billy and Stu had help DURING the killings 100%.

Randy is not this mecha survival final boy like the fandom thinks. The kid watched one too many horror movies and based them on real life. Scream itself is making fun of slasher movies and Randy was supposed to be the narrator setting most of the dumb rules up into play. Everyone is like "omg that's so out of character how he died in 2" no its not. If the rules work then him losing his virginity did him in. He was drinking, he was pissed off and not thinking. Plus Mrs. Loomis attacked in broad daylight, something no one thought of. (And the whole debate how a middle aged woman could pull him in. LOOK. Randy is a fucking small guy and she grabbed him backwards, using momentum to haul him back into the van. PLUS she was enraged at what he said about Billy. Adrenaline is a hell of a super drug as far as testing the bodies limits. I have seen tiny girls become the hulk when they are pissed I'm jus sayin) Point is, Randy was just a teen boy that loved horror movies. He was not some survival guide especially since it showed him even on the couch not aware of Ghostface behind him. He was a giant satire showing how even he didn't always follow the rules of slasher movies and how dumb the rules are.

Tatum loved Sidney and had more chemistry with her than Billy. I am not saying they weren't just BFF's and I don't want to ruin female friendship with constantly thinking "omg they are gay together" any time two women are close. BUT it is strange that it was only those two as friends especially since Sidney didn't fit into Tatum's popular social circle. It's like Tatum went out of her way to be friends with Sidney. Maybe they were childhood friends and that's why? But I think it's entirely possible that just like it's speculated that Stu and Billy were secretly in love; Tatum possibly was at least bi and in love with Sidney.

I'll start with my favorite Canon couples

Wei Wuxian x Lan Wangji (MDZS)

MXTX invented romance when she wrote SVSSS, and perfected it when writing MDZS. The fact that WWX is my favorite character ever helps too. They are a perfect couple, I love them. Love them with their kids. Give them all the kids.

Luo Binghe x Shen Qingqiu/Shen Yuan

Are they problematic? Yes. But it's not like MXTX didn't notice some things LBH did were kinda messes up. It's a flawed and interesting relationship, but they truly care about each other so much. LBH is my second SVSSS character, and that "I hate myself for not being able to get anybody to stay" line always get me. And that Q&A extra is perfect, an underrated gem. I'll write a post about it someday.

Tianlang-Jun x Su Xiyan (SVSSS)

My third and fourth favorite characters from SVSSS. We didn't have much of them, but what we had was great. An ambicious, cold and ruthless human woman and a carefree, romantic and kind of naive Demon Emperor, how can someone not love it? The Demon Emperor acting as the classic, steryotipical, romantic young donzel, and the human acting as a Young heir from a rich family. She takes him to plays, buya gifts and essencially act as his sugar mommy. Love this dinamic. Also the teasing between them. Not to mention all the angst.

Michaela x Clarith (Evillious Chronicles)

The sad tree lesbians. The most wholesome relationship in EC. Do I need to say something else?

Amy Santiago x Jake Peralta (Brooklyn 99)

Yes, I'm aware of the problema of this show, but I still live their relationship. What's worthy to point out is the fact that I didn't ship until they actually got together. There wasnt anything special before, seemed really cliche that they would get together. But I love their dynamic when they're already together. Mostly because I was afraid it would fall into that trap where the writers doesn't know what to do with the couple and how to keep the story interesting, so.they start to include unnecessary love triangles, cheating, drama, and so on. Avoiding this made Peraltiago really refreshing

Zazzalil x Jemilla (Firebringer)

Rivals to lovers. My first Canon gay rivals to lovers. And both of them had valid points of view that seemed opposite, but actually needed each other to be complete

Lelouch x Shirley (Code Geass)

Yes, from all the girls who are romantic interests for Lelouch, I ship him with the most normal one. But It just gave me the vibe that Lelouch wanted to be with her. The tragedy is that he coudn't, even if she didn't die. She was part of a "normal" life that Lelouch had to gave up of in order to achieve his goals.

Now, for my fanon favorite ships

Gai x Kakashi (Naruto)

I talked about my love for Rivals to Lovers. But what about Rivals AND Lovers. Gai got close to Kakashi after Kakashi lost everyone he had loved, took him from that state of loneliness. And they were showed together at chapter 700, showing they remained close and that their relationship is important.

Sal x Larry (Sally Face)

Their friendship was precious and perfect. And, in my defense, they were not step brothers when I started shipping it. And I completly missed the HenryxLisa happening in the backround when I first played.

Sal x Travis (Sally Face)

I know, I know, the "homophobic bully is actually gay" is a cliche by now, and a problematic one. But there's some merit to the Idea of a gay teen being raised in a conservative family and being emotionally damaged for that. It's a thing that happen. Assuming that every homophobe is secretly gay is wrong and takes away the blame of the people opressing us, but internalized homophobia exist. And Travis was just a teen. Also, I'm soft to the Idea of Travis falling in love with someone who's kind, rather than someone who's atractive. I think a lot about that note he wrote.

Zuko x Sokka (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

I can't really explain, but I love this concept so much

Cassandra Cain x Stephanie Brown (DC comics)

My girls. I love them so much. Every scene of them together is a treasure. Their personalities match so well. Also, batfam is the best part of DC, and I won't hear any argument saying otherwise

Lapis Lazuli x Peridot (Steven Universe)

I loved their relationship living together,they were so cute.

Bruno Zero x Gallerian Marlon (Evillious Chronicles)

I love them and I love them together. Bruno is underrated and Gallerian is my favorite from the seven sinners.

Lukana x Lilien x Rajih

They are in a Poly relationship and I'll die on this hill. I love the three of them traveling together trough the world and raising a child.

Xue Yang x Xiao Xingchen (MDZS)

Another messed up ship, but I can't help being captivated. XY feel for the first person who showed him kindness and that gives me feelings. There's Also this line from A-Qing

“They used to often night-hunt walking corpses, sometime in the past. Now it’s usually ghosts, animals that behave weirdly, and so on.”

XY did horrible things, I can't find the words to describe how twisted it was how he tricked XXC into killing inoccent people. But this line from A-Qing implies he stopped. On his own. That doesn't take his blame away, but it's worthy noticing. He stopped, he showed no signal that he would have told XXC the truth If SL had not showed up and A-Qing found out the truth. Even after killing SL, he seemed to have the intention to come

back to his pacific life, only when It was all already falling apart he told XXC the truth, but only after trying to get XXC to sympatize with him.

Liu Qingge x Original Shen Qingqiu/Shen Jiu

Rivals to lovers is great. All the misunderstandings that tainted their relationship. LQG judged quickly and SJ refused to fucking explain himself even when he really should. LQG saw the world in black and white, and SJ was too gray. LQG was absolutely loyal. Once someone has his loyalty, he would fight the most poweful being alive for that person. He would fight over and over, despite knowing the result. He would start a war with one of four great sects. And I'm sure there's nothing SJ would value more in a partner than someone who would never abandon him.

Original Luo Binghe x Original Shen Qingqiu/Shen Jiu (SVSSS)

I said in previous posts that I believe Bingge loved SJ and that they were originally meant to get together, before Airplane shifted the genre for money. But that's for it's own post. SJ is my favorite SVSSS character. And this ship has some much potential, to dark fics, to angst, to fix-it fics, there's variety.

Alright, so i thought about that a summary or short passage about my Au as whole wasn’t enough explanation. Au introduction page was just little so, i wanted to explain more.

What is Miraculous Ladybug Reboot?

Miraculous ladybug reboot is an Au where its a mixture of the original and the concepts but in my own take/version of it.

Why you made Miraculous Ladybug Reboot?

Am late to the party but, Miraculous Ladybug has been going down hill lately. They continuously ruining characters and milking this series. They think its funny to show Marinette being a creep 24/7. And Adrien clearly have little personality and hardly show him (its really bad now in season 4, though lies show his own screentime.) Worst part, Thomas astruc can’t take criticism and blocks people (am aware some people attacks him for no reason). So i decided to make this that kinda erase the terrible things that happened in Miraculous Ladybug.

About Miraculous Ladybug Reboot

14 years old teenage girl name Marinette Dupain-Cheng was once a normal student at Françoise Dupont Highschool. One day, Marionette was helping with parents by cleaning the attic. Marinette found a music box on the floor. She look around, decided to pick it up, and put it in her pocket. Afterwards, she decided to open the box in the her room, finding black earrings inside. She decided to try on the earrings and suddenly a creature came out of the box. The creature introduced themselves as Tikki and explained those earrings. Afterwards, Marinette decided to become a superhero known as Ladybug.

Changes

Both of the main characters getting equal amount of screentime

if the show was really about feminisms, then they show that woman and man equal. Both strong in both ways doesn’t matter. This also includes screentime.

Removing Marinette's creepiness and suffering.

Her being obsessive creepy stalker is obviously not ok and teaches kids to think that doing this is ok. So am just going remove that, and keep the idea that she have a crush on him.

other thing that’s wrong if the fact they just keep making Marinette suffer and have too much stress for a teenager. She does too much work for hero, does bakery, babysits and etc. The worse of all is making her guardian. because of all this, she had to tell Alya her secret for emotional support (or something else). Am removing this because its too much stress for teen and it makes me think she have suicidal thoughts and just keeping a smile on her face around people.

Speaking of Guardian...

Marinette will not be a Guardian

Yea, i see nothing good about her being a guardian. If anything it ruins the outcome of the entire point of love square. Even worst, she’ll just forgot Adrien anyway if she quits being guardian.

Not so much heroes

Having too many heroes takes too much time with just saying. You can’t really develop all those heroes at all. So i have shorten it out to only 5.

Chloe actually having a Development

Look idc if a creator makes a character go through Treason arc. However, the way Chloe arc was written, it definitely wasn’t a Treason arc. If anything it looked like a development but the team acting like she never had one. So am just going to do the bully to antihero to hero arc scenario.

Lila being a part of the main antagonist

So basically i wanted her to be the one who starts a rival but is truly a villain who secretly hiding something from everyone.

People is not going get akumantized repeatedly as different forms instead some one else get akumantized.

I rather for the person to be akumantized either once or twice. Not the 100th time. It makes hawk moth look like a joke. So i will make it where Hawk Moth would give up the person after once or twice and attempts to find some one who can be strong enough to beat Ladybug or chat noir.

When Hawk moth defeated, there be another main villain.

There be 7 main villains in total. All them deals with controlling some one emotion. Expect for the last one, which is like the “final” boss of the series.

Nathalie being anti-villain but still the antagonist

I wanted to see if i can write assistant betraying their boss. At the same time, being evil just for the sake of their boss. Sorry gabenath shippers.

Some adults being smart for once.

Can we just agree that most of the adults in this show shares the same braincell awhile all the teenagers are smart? Idk, they just easily gullible to lila’s lie and expel Marinette without any proof or something to know she did it.

There’s not just controlled villains, there’s villains just being villains.

Not every villain is going akumantized, in fact, there will be villains who just evil on their own. They pretty much attack the city and stuff like akumanzatied villains do. This is so that it will balance out the akumanzations.

The villains usually comes in a certain time. Like day, afternoon, noon, or night.

Specials are apart of the story, the heroes will learn something, and the heroes will later will come back.

If the heroes going go to different cities, i want them to at least learn something from it.

Unifications would not exist for other kwamis, it will only for 2 kwamis only which its definitely not the ladybug or cat miraculous.

Unifications are op not going lie. There’s no weakness between the powers or weaken the other. The weakness it have is making the user go out of control if consume too many kwamis. I might be wrong though.

So i will only use it for 2 kwamis only (which is not going be said for right now).

Alya not being a hardcore Adrien x Marinette shipper

It gets annoying if your bestfriend really wants you and your crush to be together so badly and forces you into uncomfortable spots where your crush is at. Even your friend becomes a hypocrite for a straight minute. I have to erase this so that Alya can be actual friend.

Gay characters that are in relationship actually treated like a relationship instead of a very good best friend thing.

I just want to them actually feel like they in actual relationship.

The guardians mentor their heroes if they have soon experienced enough.

I don’t know, wang fu doesn’t really train anyone or be a good guardian for once. Now he’s gone.

Zoe being an secret agent instead of a hero

Before you call me a zoe hater, i just want to say this. Zoe entire existence doesn’t make sense. She was never mentioned in the show until season 4. Audrey cheating also doesn’t add up either and causes more plot holes. So i made it where zoe is secret agent from new york who was tasked to go France. She lied about being chloe’s half sister (and other things) just so she get near to her mission. Which leads to another villain soon.

Felix not being a cousin nor evil

I don’t like how they made felix evil at all. It just feels like insult for the fans who asked him to be in it in the first place. So i made Felix Adrien's brother whose not evil but just gloomy.

Stormy weather being a separate entity

I think it will be cool to see her as a separate villain instead of akumantized one.

Some characters will be either changed or deleted.

Characters will be changed since it is a reboot thing, however some may be deleted because i either don’t like them, can’t find a way how to write them, or they seem pointless character in general.

Viperion is still exist but in a different way

i think its best not to explain this one until later

Superheroes (not miraculous heroes) were created by a mage.

Species

There’s going be more species instead of Superhumans, Kwamis, and Humans. It so that the universe can be expanded.

Dimensions

Dimensions existed for bigger plot points in the story. It also another way to expand the universe some how. The only way to enter dimensions is by portals or keys.

Types of kwamis

There will be types of kwamis. Like animal kwami, mythical kwami, dark kwami, hoilday kwami and corrupted kwami.

There will also be guardian for each type.

More types of akumanzation/amokzations

As i said eariler, there be more villains with more controlling type powers.

Daroness

Daroness is faraway villain that is owned by Rodrigue. Hawk moth works there as the chairman, making missions for the villains that works for him. However, he doesn’t akumantize people in this place, he does it in his lair instead. Welp, that’s all for now. Thanks for reading :)
