This was requested on AO3 by Knockout68.

I really like Kagura x Lucy (what's the ship name?). I think that they would make really good friends and I wish that they had some moments together. I honestly can't remember if they did interact. I think that they look great as a couple. It's a really attractive ship and I wish there were other fics about them.

I should also note that I do not know anything about swordsmanship, so everything I write in this is what I got from Google.

Swordsmanship Lessons (Kagura x Lucy)

"90...91...92...93...94...95...96...97...98...99...100!"

Lucy rolled over onto her back, sweating and breathing heavily. She lay on the dirt of the training clearing and her arms were aching from having just done a hundred push-ups. As she took some time to catch her breath, she heard footsteps approaching her, followed by a voice that she enjoyed hearing, "you did good. Are you ready to begin sword training?"

Lucy responded breathlessly, "give me a few minutes, Kagura."

The celestial wizard looked up at Kagura and watched as she kneeled beside her. The Mermaid Heel mage responded, "the push-ups will get easier."

Lucy sighed and pushed herself up into a sitting position. She stared down at her lap, her breathing still heavy, though a bit less so now. She was relieved that she was finally going to start learning how to use a sword. She had been doing all sorts of exercises, all to improve her physical condition so that she could start her swordsmanship lessons.

She knew that learning how to use a sword wasn't exactly necessary, considering she had celestial spirits and a whip, but she still felt as though she had to do more. Too often she felt like she wasn't doing enough in battle, so she decided that she should broaden the range of weapons that she can use. Something that she had quickly noticed over the years was that swords were a common weapon that many mages used alongside magic. Thus, she decided that she would learn how to use a sword.

The obvious choice of teacher was Erza, however, Lucy didn't even think about going to her for lessons. Instead, she traveled to Mermaid Heel and asked Kagura to teach her swordsmanship. One may wonder why she had gone to a mage from a different guild rather than one of her closest friends. Well, the answer is simple.

Lucy is in love with Kagura.

She saw the lessons as a chance to get closer to the other mage, not just to learn how to use a sword. When Kagura agreed to teach her, she was incredibly happy as well as surprised, having expected the black-haired woman to turn her down. Lucy was, nonetheless, excited to begin the lessons.

They had decided to meet every Tuesday at this particular dirt clearing and surprisingly were able to keep the date without faltering once. Kagura had started her off by building her physical condition. Push-ups, jumping jacks, sit-ups, sword swings, and other such methods of exercise. This went on for a few months. It was tiring, but she managed to push through, determined to learn the art of sword fighting and become closer to her teacher.

She had many times attempted to ask out Kagura, but would either get interrupted to move on to some other exercise, or would be unable to speak the words that she wanted to. However, she wasn't discouraged. She was determined to ask out the gravity mage.

After having regained control over her breathing, she stood up, dusted off her clothing, and turned to face Kagura, giving her a large smile as she exclaimed, "I'm ready!"

Kagura gave her a nod before she turned around and walked to a nearby wooden table. It is here that she kept a couple of katanas along with a couple of wooden ones. Lucy frowned to herself upon noticing that Kagura hadn't returned her smile with any indication of enjoyment of their time together. In fact, she couldn't think of a single time that the Mermaid Heel mage seemed to be happy at all. Was she not enjoying her time with Lucy? Would she rather be somewhere else? If that was the case, then why had she agreed to teach Lucy?

The blonde mage was broken out of her thoughts when she heard Kagura speak, "here, take this."

Lucy accepted the wooden katana, the feeling of the wood a familiar sensation from the sword swings that she had to do with it. Just thinking about those hundreds of sword swings made her arms hurt. She looked at Kagura as the other woman continued to speak, another wooden katana in her hand, "there are several factors that go into being successful in a sword fight. Your body must be in excellent physical condition, so you should continue to exercise even after we finish your lessons completely. You must also be aware of your surroundings and remain calm in battle. Keeping control over emotions would give way to mistakes."

Lucy nodded as she listened, hanging on to every word that Kagura said. "you must also know how to be deceptive. Fighting fair will ensure that you lose. You must be able to trick your opponent into thinking that you are going to do one thing, when really, you are going to do something else. You must be confident in your abilities. Faltering for even a second could spell your demise. You must lack rhythm. If you set a pattern while you fight, then your attacks will be predictable. You must be able to not only keep yourself from being intimidated, but also to intimidate your opponent. You must know when to strike and how closely to do so. Finally, you must never underestimate your opponent. Do you understand?"

Lucy nodded her head, her brown eyes and smile reflecting her determination. Kagura took a step closer, instructing her, "raise your sword and get into a long stance." After Lucy did as she was instructed, raising her wooden sword, placing her feet apart with one behind the other so that they were parallel with her shoulders, and bent her knees, Kagura continued after having raised her sword above her head, "it appears that I am going to attack you with an overhead strike, however, this is an example of deception. My actual attack will be a kick." She closed the distance between the two of them, bringing her foot up to press against Lucy's midsection as she moved her sword to rest across her front. The swordswoman added, "I keep my sword positioned like this so that if my kick is unsuccessful, then I can follow up with a strike, or I can block your sword if you try to strike at me."

Lucy moved back into a long position when Kagura stepped away from her, asking, "do you remember what a parry is?"

Lucy nodded, remembering a few weeks ago when Kagura had taught her what a parry was for her sword swing exercises. Kagura nodded and raised her wooden sword over her head, instructing, "parry my strike."

Lucy nodded and tightened her grip on her sword. She raised it, waiting for her teacher to bring her own sword down in a non-threatening attack. When the sword was finally brought down, Lucy whipped her sword up, blocking the strike. Kagura said, "good."

The black-haired woman brought her sword back up, seeming to go for an overhead strike again. Suspecting that this was instead a feigned attack, Lucy side-stepped, causing Kagura's sword to swing down to the ground. Just as Lucy was about to go for her own attack, aiming to hit her teacher's back, a foot swept one of hers from under her, causing her to crash onto the ground on her back.

She gave an 'oof' from the impact and stayed where she lay, wondering what had just happened. She looked up at Kagura, who was leaning over her, and asked, "what the hell?"

The corner of Kagura's mouth twitched up to a small, half smile, something that Lucy noticed and was both surprised and delighted to see. The black-haired woman responded, "you need to be aware of possible deception. Your dodge was very good, but you still left yourself open for an attack on your legs. You should have continued to move behind me and then attack me."

Lucy heaved a sigh, her eyes moving to look past Kagura's head and stare up at the clouds above. She then sat up before looking over at Kagura and watching as she sat next to her. The celestial wizard stared down at her lap, her hands clamped together. She instantly noticed how closely she and the other mage were sitting, the proximity causing her to blush and divert her gaze from the gravity mage.

She sighed once more, figuring that right now would be better than any other chance to actually talk to her. Lucy's gut became filled with butterflies and her palms began to sweat as she turned to Kagura, asking, "Kagura...I was wondering. Are you not happy to be teaching me how to use a sword?"

The Mermaid Heel mage titled her head slightly to one side in confusion, inquiring, "what do you mean? If I wasn't happy to help you, then why would I have agreed?"

Lucy shrugged, looking back down at her lap. "You don't really smile or anything like that. You don't seem to be happy."

"Well, I am. I have no reason to not be happy." There was a few moments of silence before Kagura continued, "after all, you're here."

Lucy whipped her head around to look at her in confusion. What did she mean by that? The blonde opened her mouth to ask for clarity, but was quickly cut off when Kagura asked with a small smile, "would you like to go on a date, Lucy?"

Lucy stared at her with widened eyes. She couldn't believe that the woman she had fallen for was asking her out. She wanted to do that! A grin spread across her face as she nodded her head excitedly. Kagura gave a small chuckle before she stood up, saying, "let's finish our lesson and then we can get some lunch. How does that sound?"

Lucy stood up as well, picking up her wooden sword too, as she exclaimed, "yes! That sounds great!"

Hello! Welcome to my goofy little blog. I’m Maya, I’m 15, and I’m a really delusional hopeless romantic and dreamer. This is just a random little thing I decided to start. I forgot how heteronormative the Fairy Tail fandom was back in 2015-2019, it could have been happening way before, but still.

Whenever I read fanfics religiously, I began reading Fairy Tail fanfiction years ago and it was always one of these books, that I read and it was either betrayal stories (I will not specify, some may already know) or...

Slayer Season stuff, kill me, and when reading these stories, I would see ships... I had no idea even existed but because I was dumb as hell and didn't finish the show, meaning I was walking on eggshells towards spoilers, I didn't but I remember Acnologia being mentioned and it unlocked some shitty memories.

AnnaLogia (Anna Heartfilia x Acnologia)

RogUra (Rogue Cheney x Kagura Mikazuchi

Don't know how this came to be, people see them as the Natsu and Lucy of the past but my interception being that Acnologia is a genocidal type of guy while Anna barely knows of his existence, I don't want their defenders coming after me when I say I ship AnnRene (Anna x Irene) Wait- Milfs together, Irene being with someone who won't leave her, can listen to her, while they stay in the library finding information and sharing with each other in a cottage- GUESS WHO JUST GOT A NEW CRACK SHIP- men didn't work out for Irene, so women would do much better- all in all, I understand what they're going for, but just no. Just no.

RogUra (Rogue Cheney x Kagura Mikazuchi

I don't understand. How in the fu-, I think what they were going for was how Kagura owned Yukino's life for about three days, and in the equivalent of StinYu, they needed RoguRa, They've never had any interaction, Kagura only argued with Sting over Yukino being in Mermaid Heel or SaberTooth, but even with all her interaction with men, she lacks interest in them, hell even Mashima didn't show signs of any guy approaching Kagura, fuck I might have jinxed my girl, although it pissed me off on how she got exposed to a lot of men in her "fight" against Dimaria, when Kagura is with Erza, genuinely she's more romantic with Erza instead of a MALE, Kagura KISSED Erza, KISSED!! Farther than any of the semi-canon ships can come up to, Kagura asked to be little Erza's little sister? Nah, it was avoiding her obvious wlw attraction, Rogue never interacted with her, he acknowledges her abilities, Kagura vs Millianna, he was genuine Kagura would win, I mean ofc she would, he saw her against Yukino, against Lyon and that mf is strong.

A lot of ships, specially some so-called crackships from the fandom really are rooted in heteronormativity, like with Rogue x Kagura or bickslow x lisanna (which later got more people actually putting in the thought process for their dynamic but i'm convinced it started to get lis out of the way of nalu), i don't know what kind of brain rot the early fandom had to just write "female character is hated on for no reason" or "smut that's this 👌 close to being omegaverse". I started reading ft fics in like 2014 and the first one i read was a just so full of lisanna and loke bashing cause of course they're "keeping Lucy and Natsu from being able to date each other", and today i find it so out of place cause i remember the rest of the plot was perfectly fine.

I feel like annalogia is like EndLu two electric boogaloo, like the pipeline was: nalu->EndLu ->AcnoLu (i remember seeing that being shipped)-> Annalogia

Which is objectively inferior to Annarene, like if you want to ship her with someone who's partially a dragon Irene is right there and asking for her character to do something. I'm a big fan of the possible things you can do with them even if I have never written about them besides them being funky lesbian vodka aunts in a luvia selkie au and i also love when milfs are paired together.

Shipping Kagura with any male character should be considered lesbophobia (/j). Of all possibly canon queer characters, i think she's the one where is the most explicit that she's a into women even before she kissed Erza, and has never shown the interest to men that other female characters have. To ship her with any guy, but ESPECIALLY with rogue who i think she has never had a meaningful conversation with (correct me if i'm wrong) is heteronormativity at it's finest and i have the theory it was made like that because people who shipped sabertooth members with each other were too cowardly to consider sting x yukino x rogue and Minerva was not redeemed yet. Kagura is like peak dyke activity/relatability, even if she did confuse her attraction to Erza, this woman has never non-platonically liked men in her life.

And ok i know some of these ships have shippers that actually see how they could happen or how it would work out in canon. more power to you, that's not my issue. my issue is that it's obvious many of the most accepted "crackships" were straight because the fandom couldn't even fathom lesbianism as a viable option

In that order. I haven't liked that many Naruto fillers but the ones with Team 7 and Konoha 12 just being kids are an exception.

1. Why is Greige in heaven ? He isn’t dead ? Does that mean he’s in heaven waiting to be born ? If so does that mean they only have 1 baby ?

2. Why is Jerza not together here ? Is this a sign that they won’t be together until after 100 yr quest ? Is there a sequel that they will be together in? Is he trolling us ?

Child of The Galaxy - Fairy Tail x Fem!Child!Reader - Chapter 2: The Battle of Fairy Tail

Chapter 1: Etherion, Tower of Heaven Arc

A/n: Sorry it’s a bit long, I was following dialogue and I had so much I wanted to do

The harvest festival was one of your favourite times of the year for as long as you could remember and, since you officially jointed Fairy Tail a few years ago, you were able to participate in the Fantasia Parade with the rest of your guild.

Of course, right now you were running around outside looking at all the booths in Magnolia as the Miss Fairy Tail Contest occurred in the guild hall.

That was until the stampede of people running from it got your attention as you portalled into the rafters of the guild, watching.

There was something about Evergreen that made your skin crawl, but seeing Erza, Mirajane, Levy, Juvia, Bisca, Lucy and Cana turned to stone with Evergreen’s power made you feel a pit in your stomach you usually would force down inside of you.

You would have forced it down again if it wasn’t for Laxus threatening to smash the statues of your role models and guild family to pieces if everyone didn’t obey his rules.

Laxus was trying to stage a coup and overthrow his grandfather as Master of the guild.

You grimaced as you watched Laxus take Natsu down with one lightning strike.

“LET THE BATTLE OF FAIRY TAIL BEGIN!” You could hear Laxus but not see him as he left in a bright flash of lightning, the Thunder Legion also all gone in the same flash of light.

You grimaced again as you watched Master Makarov slam into the invisible wall thanks to Freed’s enchantments.

You didn’t expect Natsu to slam into the invisible wall also.

“Why can’t you get through, obviously you’re not a stone statue, don’t tell me you’re over 80!” Makarov yelled as Natsu kept whacking the wall, activating the runes displaying the rules over and over as Happy flew around past the wall and back again.

“Battle of Fairy Tail status report, what? It says Jet vs Droy vs Alzack, is this some kind of joke?” Makarov yelled, leaving you to pause in realisation.

Freed’s enchantments had everyone fighting each other.

“The winner is Alzack, Jet and Droy KO’d.” Makarov replied, leaving Natsu to mumble “what?”

“Max vs Warren, the winner is Warren. Vijeeter vs Nab, the winner is Nab. Laki defeats four others. Macao vs Wakaba in progress.” Happy announced, leaving you to sigh as you sat on the rafters, watching.

“Time remaining 2 hours and 18 minutes. Participants remaining 43.” Happy read off the invisible wall.

“That can’t be all that’s left, that means that more than half the guild has wiped itself out in less than an hour!” Makarov exclaimed in shock.

“Evergreen vs Elfman, the winner is Evergreen, Elfman KO’d.”

“Ahhh, now it says that Gray is fighting against Bickslow, why’s he got to hog all the fun!” Natsu huffed, his fists clenched in anger.

“Freed is fighting against Reedus, the Thunder Legion is really making their move!” Happy added as he flew above Natsu and Master Makarov.

You grimaced for what felt like the hundredth time as Natsu lunged at the thought projection of Laxus and as Gajeel walked into the invisible wall too.

“DON’T TELL ME YOU’RE OVER EIGHTY, TOO!” Natsu yelled at Gajeel who bellowed back “DO I LOOK EIGHTY TO YOU?”

“Only three left in the guild!” Makarov exclaimed in horror as Natsu and Gajeel began to argue again.

“No way, you’re the only ones left? Whose the third- Y/n? What are you doing here!” Makarov exclaimed as you portalled down from the rafters.

“So, what’s the plan, gramps?” You enquired, folding your arms as you stared down at your Master.

“I suppose it would help if you had your full powers-”

“What do you mean full powers? She’s eleven!” Gajeel yelled causing you to just grimace.

“Looks like I’ve got no choice, guess I’ll bring Erza back.” Natsu announced, making everyone look confused.

“Do what!” Makarov yelled as Natsu went over to the statue of Erza.

You stood next to everyone as you watched Natsu attempt to melt the stone off Erza, even if she was the stone, not just covered in it.

Letting out a screech, you stared in horror at the crack that appeared on Erza’s face as Natsu put his fire hands near her.

“I DIDN’T MEAN TO BREAK HER, SOMEONE GET ME THE GLUE! QUICK, HAPPY, GLUE!”

“DO WE HAVE GLUE?” Happy flew around in horror, looking as you sat with your hands behind Erza’s head in an attempt to stop Natsu from dropping her on the floor in his panic.

“THAT’S NOT GONNA DO ANYTHING YOU IDIOT, WE GOTTA USE YOUR FIRE AND MY IRON TO WELD HER BACK TOGETHER!” Gajeel yelled as Natsu panicked even more.

“ERZA NO!” Master cried as Erza began to crack more until the stone effect wore off. You, the two dragon slayers and Master Makarov jumped back in terror.

“I feel hot...” Erza whispered, glancing around before a scowl appeared on her face that had all four of you jumping further back in fear.

“It was you, wasn’t it? Were you trying to cook me?!” Erza yelled as she sent Natsu flying with one punch.

“Thank goodness, but how was the spell broken?” Makarov asked, leaving Erza to glance down as she felt you hugging her side.

“Honestly, I’m not quite sure, but if I had to guess, I’d say it had something to do with my right eye.” Erza admitted, remembering her artifical eye.

“Alright, it’s time to strike back-”

“Wait, it says there’s five participants!” Happy announced, leaving Makarov to stare in realisation.

“But who could it be?” Natsu asked as everyone turned around to look at the remaining statues.

“The girls are still frozen so it can’t be them-” the Master explained, leaving Erza to smirk.

“Aren’t you all forgetting someone?”

“Someone want to fill me in over here?” Gajeel asked leaving you to answer.

“Mystogan. Potentially one of the strongest in Fairy Tail.” Gajeel just nodded before glancing up at the participant number again.

“Wait, are they expecting an eleven year old to fight? She’s tiny, what is she supposed to do against the Thunder Legion?” Gajeel exclaimed but the glare you gave him rivalled Erza’s glares, much to her amusement as she patted you on the head afterwards.

“I’m going to go out there before they try make me have a death wish.” You announced, opening a portal behind you to step back into.

“What ever could she mean?” Erza asked as she headed over to the guild’s exit.

“Y/n once said to Hibiki Lates that to fight you would be to have a death wish, I think she is refering to being forced to fight you, Erza.” Makarov explained, leaving Erza to sigh, nodding to the three remaining people in the guild hall, she ran into the fray of Magnolia.

“Damn.” You whispered under your breath as you watched Erza take down Evergreen.

“Language!” Erza growled, making you freeze from your spot on the rooftops until you spotted the flying lacrima.

“Erza, is that what I think it is?”

Erza growled as she spotted what you were pointing at.

“The Thunder Palace.”

“He’s a monster...” you whispered as you watched Bisca go down after shooting one of the hundreds of lightning lacrima hovering above Magnolia.

“He’s going to destroy Magnolia if he doesn’t get his way, he’s more of a child than I am... and I’m eleven and a half.” You remarked, leaving Erza to smile slightly before the two of you split up to cover more ground.

You were portal hopping across Magnolia to find Laxus when you heard the explosion, turning your head to the right, you spotted the source.

Lucy and Loke had defeated Bickslow and destroyed a bit of Magnolia in the process. Of course.

“Damn, well done Lucy!” You shouted before portalling away at the sound of another explosion and a flash of lightning that caught your eye.

By the time you arrived, Juvia and Cana were down, Elfman was being tortured physically and Mirajane emotionally.

“What the hell-”

“Language Y/n, and I’d stay back if I were you, or you’ll be the next to face me!” Freed warned, leaving you standing on the bridge with that familar pit in your stomach that you had before.

“She’s a child!” Mira shouted, tears running down her face as you looked at her before glaring at Freed.

“The final Dark Écriture. Death.”

Everything went silent at Freed’s announcement, Mira had stilled as the latter word that Freed said echoed in the air.

Death.

Flashbacks to Lisanna Strauss’ death and funeral reflecting in your eyes and the eyes of Lisanna’s older sister, Mira, as Elfman was threatened with his death by Freed’s hand.

“He’s so screwed now.” You murmured to yourself as the wind went cold, the earth shaking as magical power began to flow from Mira’s body, her hair floating in the air in its intensity.

Mira’s screams echoed in your ears before you portalled to pull Cana, Elfman and Juvia away from the fight scene.

Freed just pissed off The She Devil. Satan Soul.

The purple light from the explosion that took Freed down could be seen across Magnolia, as you held up Cana whilst Elfman had Juvia in his arms.

“Holy-”

“Aye, language!” Cana warned, making you just shrug.

“What did you ex- I know where he is.” You announced, interrupting yourself as Cana removed her weight from you to stand up alone.

“What are you- Y/n, you’re not match for Laxus, get back here!” Cana shouted as you opened a portal and stepped into it, dodging Cana trying to grab you in the process.

Laxus was so angry that you could sense the amount of lightning radiating off of him, even with you far away from Kardia Cathedral.

Of course your instincts were confirmed with the explosion from the Cathedral, Mystogan and Laxus were fighting.

You didn’t arrive in time to deflect the lightning attack that blasted Mystogan’s mask off, his face revealed and identity blown.

Jellal.

“I’m sorry. I must be going.” You stared in confusion as Mystogan disappeared into thin air, leaving you standing behind Erza and Natsu.

“Well, well, well, the Child of The Galaxy finally joins the party, I’ll be honest, I thought you’d be cowering in the rafters of the guild for the entire battle like the child you are.” Laxus taunted you, earning glares from Erza and Natsu but your focus went solely on the lightning mage.

“You’re the child here, this entire Battle of Fairy Tail crap is one big tantrum because you want to be guildmaster, yet, Master Makarov is worth a hundred of you!” You shouted, trying not to flinch at the lightning eminating from Laxus in his rage.

“We’ll see about that!” Laxus yelled, aiming a lightning attack at you, much to the horror and anger of Erza and Natsu.

The three of them weren’t expecting you to be able to dodge it through a portal, appearing behind Laxus to hit him with an dark f/c space energy orb, hitting him in the back of the head enough that he stumbled forwards.

Of course you didn’t expect to get blasted into Erza, who was still in shock over seeing Mystogan’s face being the same as Jellal’s.

You’d managed to get away from Erza before she knocked you out like she did Natsu to go up against Laxus.

“Y/n, go!” Erza shouted but you just glared, trying to tap into your gravity magic that Kagura had been teaching you.

“Now, now, Y/n, listen to her, or do you want another taste of my lightning?” Laxus taunted, leaving you to just glare at him as you began to hover.

That was until Natsu grabbed you and pulled you away.

“I told you two, I was going to be the one, to fight, Laxus!” Natsu shouted, handing you over to Erza like you were a balloon tied to a string.

“Come on, Y/n, let’s go take down the Thunder Palace.” Erza explained, carrying you over her shoulder as you watched Natsu and Laxus go smaller and smaller.

“You two better make it back alive!” Natsu shouted, leaving you to deadpan.

“We’ll try our best!”

Erza stood away from you as she began to summon every weapon in her requip arsenal to take down the Thunder Palace, with less than two minutes left and the entirity of Magnolia at stake, the bit in your stomach was growing and now forming a tightness in your chest.

It was getting harder for you to breathe as your vision went dark.

You didn’t hear Warren’s telepathy, meaning Erza was barely able to glance at you and see the state you were in.

But everyone saw how the sky went dark and the warped tear in space that was much larger than any other portal you’d opened. The rip swallowing up a chunk of the Thunder Palace lacrima next to the 200 that Erza was taking out.

You were on the ground before the body link magic had any effect, but the lightning still hit you, leaving you there as all of Fairy Tail yelled out at the lightning strikes.

You were barely awake as Erza reached out to you, her face falling into shock as she saw your smile.

The two of you weren’t able to move as the blinding light of Fairy Law swept over Magnolia, lying in watch as it enshrouded everything and everyone, helpless.

“So... was something supposed to happen with Laxus casting Fairy Law or did he just want a dramatic light show?” You choked out from the ground next to Erza who glanced down at you in worry.

“I’m not sure, no doubt Natsu can handle it though.” She replies, crouching down to help you up.

“I thought Master Makarov sealed most of your powers.” Erza states, leaving you to just weakly shrug.

“I think one of his three magic seals was broken when Laxus decided to give him a heart attack. I had enough to destroy the lacrima by portalling them off the planet though.” You replied, so casually that Erza didn’t register what you had said until moments later.

“You portalled them where?!”

You just chuckled at Erza’s shock, eyes fluttering before they fell shut, the explosions from the cathedral going unheard by you as you slipped unconscious.

Mira woke you up the next day to get ready for the Fantasia Parade.

You were standing above Erza’s float, manipulating the sky to show the cosmos of stars above, amplified by the glowing light of the fireworks until it was time for Laxus’ farewell signal.

Raising your hand into the air, you almost fell off the float due to being so high up before you felt gravity magic nudge you back up.

Only then did you make eye contact with Kagura Mikazuchi in the crowd along with some other Mermaid Heel members.

Kagura’s face was calm and almost blank but her eyes gave her away with a flash of happiness that left you grinning as you stood on the float, fireworks crackling in the sky above you.
