Summary: you're Jonathan Levy's best friend, always been in love with him even after he got married. But then it crumbles down and you proved that you treat him better.

My immediate thought is like: oh childhood besties with Jonathan instead of the usual teacher-student relationship. I think it adds more drama, you know?

Imagine being so in love with this man for years, but he's blind. He marries Mira and to add salt to the wound you were his best man, or rather best woman. Holding in tears because you thought to yourself 'Surely, I'd move on.'

You two grow up, still closer and you watched him make a family of his own while you work a decent job and end up drinking at the end of the day. Partners come and go, but none of them made you feel the same way Jonathan did. And Jonathan barely did shit.

You knew it was wrong pining for a married man, but you hoped some day Jonathan sees that Mira treats him like shit. You didn't want to upset him since you're his best friend. The one person who knew everything about him even after setting boundaries since he got married.

Were you surprised when Jonathan calls you over and tells you Mira cheated on him? Of course not. You called up a babysitter for Ava and went to hit up a bar, drowning in his sadness.

"What does she have that keeps you... I don't know... loving her? What's so different that you keep crawling back to her."

He couldn't reply. Jonathan stared at you, remembering all the times you two talked— the ones where he's always ranting about his married life, the struggles and the stress. You always just sat there and listened to him. You never straight out voiced your opinion about Mira.

"What else do you think of her?"

"She's a bitch. I mean seriously, you two have a daughter and she pulls this shit. Anyone— and I mean everyone can treat you better than she does."

You always did speak the truth when you're drunk. So this was different.

"You packed her shit too. If I were you, I would've burned everything she owned. Did I ever tell you of the ex boyfriend I had? Changed his shampoo to hair remover."

"That's a bit extreme."

You always knew just how to make him laugh, even with childish insults. No words were exchanged between the two of you, Jonathan stared at you, scanning your features. Something about you was different. Maybe it was the alcohol, but he's just barely tipsy.

Next thing he knew, he kissed you. He realized that he loved you more than a best friend normally did. He was in love.

Even if it took your whole lives, you thanked whoever the fuck made him realize he loved you (me).

In the middle of your kissing session, he pulls away only to take off his glasses, even touching the lenses despite wanting to keep it fingerprint-free.

His daughter's asleep, baby sitter's gone. You two stumbled into his house, lips locked. Jonathan wasted no time getting you into his bedroom (well, him and Mira's bedroom) and taking your clothes off.

Not only was this the perfect revenge, this was a perfect moment. Your wildest dreams finally coming true.

Jonathan fucks— no, he makes love. He's slow, making you feel good. He's definitely a giver. He peppers you non-stop with kisses. You leave scratches and marks on his body. The pleasure is too much. You were happy that night.

The next morning, breakfast in bed and a kiss on your forehead. Clearly, he didn't regret anything from last night. Jonathan really realized he loved you and you loved him.

Let's just say that you practically lived in his house at this point. Mira comes home to find Jonathan fucking you on the kitchen counter.

Tech Girlie Diaries: being the youngest and only female software engineer on the team

👄 honest stories/lessons only 💅

I just found out I'll get to mentor my first female intern at work and I'm so excited!!! It's so rare that we (not even just our team but the company as a whole) get female interns 🥺 which got me thinking about everything I want to impart to this bright, young mind ✨ since I was once in her shoes 🩰 just without a female mentor 😔 Don't get me wrong(!!), I love my mentors and every chance I get to work with them has been great — they're literally the best dudes I've ever met 🥲 but there are some ~tech girlie things~ that guys just... don't have to deal with in the same way.

Hopefully, if you're also a woman in tech or an ally, these can help you too ☺️ and please let me know in the comments/reblogs/dms/asks if there's anything else I might've missed that you think my mentee should know! ❤️

Unburden Yourself: you do not represent all women ♀️

When I first joined this company as an intern, I was only the second female intern they'd ever had and their first backend female intern. There were no backend female engineers. I felt like I had to constantly prove myself against these bros who seemed to eat, sleep, and breathe code.

But I quickly realized, through the consistent kindness and respect my male colleagues gave me, that it is not a competition (unless it's a bug-solving hackathon, in which case, all other teams can suck it 🍭😜) and no one thinks for a second that I am a representative token of my gender.

Unfortunately, this diversity-affirming culture is still not the case in all workplaces, so this is the Most Important Thing to remember: that you deserve to be treated kindly and with respect by your colleagues AND yourself, so don't settle for anything less! 💕

Take the Day: Care for Yourself First🥇

After finding out I took basically no holidays for a year, my manager at the time was appalled and granted me a month-long vacation (it was amazing). He then proceeded to (kindly) lecture me on the fact that I was no longer an intern and working full-time means making a conscious effort to Not Burn Out™️. My current manager still gives me well-meaning lectures to the same effect, so I guess I haven't really taken this lesson to heart yet?? 🙈 I'll give some examples from what I should've done instead 😂

If that time of the month is killing you and you're straight-up collapsing at your desk: TAKE THE DAY OFF

If your back and wrists are killing you to the point that you physically cannot sit and type: TAKE THE DAY WEEK OFF

If you have personal/family struggles you need to be fully present for: TAKE THE DAY WEEK MONTH OFF

... You get the idea.

Be Your Most Effective Self 🌷

My current manager (literally one of the strongest women I know) and I work well together even though (or maybe precisely because) we have completely different personalities. She is direct, serious, and very goal-oriented 🎯 I tend to take a softer approach, can be completely unserious, and more people/morale focused 🍒

When I was starting out, I really felt I had to be more like my current manager so that people would respect me and take me seriously 😳 That thought daunted me so much because it's totally opposite my natural personality. It wasn't until people started telling me that my personality was a big part of why people like working me and want me on their teams that I started to learn to play to my strengths 💪

Despite our differences, my manager and I are both effective engineers in our own ways ☺️

Good Girls Get What They Deserve 💸

I have been unashamedly aggressive about what I want in my career.

Worked my butt off 🍑 for 2 promotions in 2 years 🌟 when it usually takes twice the amount of time for both! 🏃‍♀️

Communicated my desire to move into management someday to gain more mentorship / project leadership roles and experience 🤓

Your own growth and trajectory is what you have the most control over. Sometimes that means taking a well-deserved break, other times that means hustling and negotiating and networking until you make your dreams a reality.

I've lost count of how many companies I've applied to before landing this job and how many mistakes I've needed to correct even in my current position! So sometimes too, maintaining control means realizing that when you are denied/fail to attain certain opportunities, it makes you available to attend to others that may even be better suited to you in the long-run! 🏃‍♀️

I am not pretending to be the best designer ever BUT

as a main villain bleylock deserved much better than this ugly pyjamas they gave to him.

I know that general style of the show was quite simple, but even simple design worked well because of it’s colours or shapes, or because it suited well with some characters like norata, who was a boring dad and wanted to live his boring life. I respect that. but bleylock is not just random boring dude, in fact, I think he’s actually quite opposite: a man that loves his rich bitch status and pretty things that reminds everyone about his power and influence, like that HUGE portrait of himself in the office.

and I want more of “I can buy you and your entire family just because I want to” vibes and then immediately switches with “but I prefer violence” you know what I mean. I don’t want some tragic af backstory, just a villain who is hungry for power, influence, money and also queer coded as hell because of the only (2) thing that he can’t have and that shit is just making him crazy. sonny blackbones makes him INSANE because he’s not afraid of him. he will never obey, he’s hard to read and manipulate, hard to catch because he’s a smart motherf- strategist (and certainly not hot as hell), and for now they playing those “catch me if you can” games for years. I know that we all know that, right, but why to not show it through the design, make it a little more complementary…

also I would love to see this rivalry more personal (?) for them. they definitely weren’t friends when they were working on metaflux, but they spent quite a lot time together, so it helped them to get to know each other. we know that bleylock was visiting lobnor and i’son (also he WAS wearing very fancy outfits back then💅) but instead of this I’d prefer him to actually being stuck with them on the same space station for years by the order of technoid, and bitching around about that 24/7. and that’s also how we could be explained why his relationships with duke maddox get worse in the first place: he wanted bleylock to obey for the sake of the company and forget his personal goals, which was disrespectful on bleylock’s opinion, but he he couldn’t do anything because of lack of the power.

maybe sonny and bleylock were having poker nights together sometimes, because bleylock is so bored being stuck in there (and because ‘honestly i’son you are the only who seems to have at least some talent in this game, on this damn station’). and secretly bleylock admires sonny’s intelligence and wants to have him as an ally, but this is impossible, because he is a rightfull man for god’s sake and will never give him a metaflux that easy. that’s why he’s so dangerous for him. and that’s why he should be destroyed…

Of UK Howlers and LATAM Howlers

Latina!MC and Sebastian snuck out late at night to try to save some beast from poachers. They succeeded but not without both of them getting caught on their way back from the Room of Requirements by prefects and needing to serve detention the next night. The next morning, the silver trio (Sebastian, Ominis and MC) make their way to breakfast.

MC: *mumbling, glaring at Sebastian* Why am I even friends with you? All you do is get me in trouble. 😒

Sebastian: I told you to take the other hallway, it's longer but safer but noooo, miss "I'm not in pain" decided to go for the shortcut and tripped and fall on me and we couldn't walk away fast enough 🙄

MC: I wouldn't have fallen if you weren't in the way. 🙄

Sebastian: I thought you knew I was ahead of you under our disillusionment spell! 😤

Ominis: You both wouldn't have been in trouble if you listened to me like I told you and waited another night. The poachers would had been more tired tonight than yesterday after drinking. Their guard would be down as well. Everyone gets loose on Friday.

MC and Sebastian still argues as the three sit down at their table for breakfast. Soon, food appears. The silver trio get their breakfasts and soon owls fly by, dropping off the mail.

Sebastian gets a Howler, but he just winches at first at his uncle's voice before rolling his eyes and burning the letter as his uncle says his usual spiel of being a disappointment. He noticed that MC get a small package though.

Sebastian: Pfff, Howlers. What did you get MC? 😏

MC: I don't know, I never got a package from home like this before.

MC opens it up and 😨 freezes when she sees it.

Sebastian: Why did you get a sandal in the mail? It's too cold to wear them this time of the year. 🤨

Sebastian turns to face MC, but when he looks, MC is gone.

Sebastian: Ominis where did MC go? 🤨

Ominis: What? How did she just? She was just here! I would have heard her leave. What happened? 🤨

Sebastian: I don't know, she got a sandal in the mail and just vanished. 🤨

Ominis: Was there any letter written with it? 🤔

Sebastian: Oh there is. Something is taped to the bottom of the sandal! It's in Spanish. Let me see what it says. It says; Te verás que te pasara si te mando el otro.

Ominis: What does that mean in English?

Sebastian: "You'll see what will happen to you if I send you the other." Is this a threat? What's so scary about a sandal? 🤨

Ominis: It's not the sandal that scares her. It's the symbolic message it sends. 🙄 It's scary enough to send MC running. MC never runs from anything. Maybe it's best to see what she says.

...Later in detention...

Sebastian: So what was with you and that sandal your mom sent? 🤨

MC: I have no idea what you're talking about. 🥲

Sebastian: So when are we going poacher hunting again? 😁

MC: Never. Again. At least with you. On a weeknight. I can't be caught again or the chancleta will get me. Never again. 😭

Yukimura gets so flustered at first, he almost has no idea what to do. Though he eventually calms down and another fire starts burning in him.

He soon finds that he likes you taking the lead. You touching him in the places he likes best -finding some new places as well-

He finds it incredibly sexy when you’re leading the way, doing as you please with him and telling him what you want him to do with you.

He may have been flustered at first…but he soon finds that he can’t get enough of you.

And he thinks you look super sexy while riding him.

“Oh, you want to take the lead tonight little mouse?” He asks upon entering your shared room and you practically pounce on him.

You nod up at him. Taking his hand you lead him to the futon, where he sits down and looks up at you expectantly, mischief dancing in those amber eyes.

You decide to start off, teasing him as he usually teases you.

Kissing him, teasing touches over his skin, leaving a few marks on his chest.

Mitsuhide enjoys everything you’re doing. He adores you and indulging you is one of his favorite things.

However, the man can only take so much before he is flipping things around on you.

“I’ve let you have your fun little mouse…now let me treat you properly. Perhaps you can learn from my example for next time.”

He then spends the night thoroughly teaching you all of his techniques. You make the mental note to not let him get the better of you next time…even if it is always amazing when you surrender to him. Though he did very much enjoy you initiating. He loved knowing you wanted him as much as he wanted you.

Nobunaga-

He gives you an amused smile as you climb atop his lap after pushing the tray with the sake aside.

“Maybe you should be MY cup tonight.” You tell him.

His grin widens as he eyes you, placing the sake cup in your hand. “By all means, fireball.”

Hi I'm a new reader and love TLE so much. Amazing characters, complex and real. Plot credible and consistent with the canon. really, congratulations. You pay attention on every character, everyone has his story, background, personality, relationships, strengths and weaknesses that all together mold a precise and recognizable forma mentis.

I don't think anyone (JKR included) could write this period better. I love all of them. Expecially Blacks. I mean, Alphard is my guide spirit, an icon, a god of chaos, master of drama. I'd have done exactly what he did with the inheritance, and then I would have enjoyed the family’s reactions,Wally’s one above all,from hell by tasting a glass of wine, laughing 💅 I wish I could have seen more moments with the siblings and also with Sirius. I miss him so much.

And Regulus? Love that boy,he's an idiot,but I can’t help feeling sorry for him. If only he and Sirius had found a way to speak and remain united...I hope to see more flashbacks about them (actually a spin off of their childwood would be majestic. Only you could do it).Not to mention that he felt pushed aside and developed a blind jealousy of James and some sort of abandonment trauma.His friendship with Barty is brilliant. In a few years I imagine it evolving like the relationship between him and Sirius, younger/older brother. reg will realize that the path chosen is wrong,toxic and destructive for everyone, especially for Barty, the little one,too manipulated and corrupted by voldemort, as he was by his parents. He’ll find himself as Sirius, maybe at that point he’ll understand him better. That would be a nice closing of his narrative arc.

And sirius? Well, he's sirius. It's enough. My favorite. An idiot. He needs to learn to treat people better but knowing what will happen...he's such an idiot! And this bring myself to hope we will have the DRAMA between him and the other idiot. He still owes Lily an apology for what he did to her in 3 year, he have a debt (then they could become best mates, I can see them play and listen to the same muggle music, smoking or go to a bowie's concert) and James still has to pay dearly for his idiocy. So if Lily wants to make James jealous with Sirius, let her. And Graham and Rem (yes, even YOU,my dear!) mute, we need drama here 🔥👄🔥

Not to mention that Sirius MUST return home,Monty deserves to have his children close by🥺

And I just want to say that I really love the relationship between James and Valmai. He's so proud of her 🥲 and he will be more in TLE3 when she kicks ass at all purebloods and gets a role in puddlemere (go girl!!!) I hope to see them training soon with the other kids. I can see James asking his mother to send him his old brooms and give them to the little ones.

As for HSR and L&ds, if I start I won't stop but I suddenly blanked rn HELP- tbh with l&ds.. What I'm feeling rn is alot of frustration I look like these 😈😃 emojis while punching a wall especially with the fighting.. The whole leveling up cards and farming materials / protocores (like genshin artifacts) with limited stamina is a pain lol. Also the whole wishing system with pity and literally looking through every nook and cranny for them diamonds! There's new event cards every often and it's great but sad and traumatizing when you don't manage to get the card u want. BUT that's the whole experience and it's still really good and addictive to the point my wallet is under lock and key is thrown away. Summary, reasons to play = pretty boys with a good main story and terribly angsty individual lore. If you like simping but emotionally, then definitely give it a try. Besides if you don't like it the uninstall button is just a click away🤭 doesn't hurt to try.

Ranking TVD Female characters Part 1.

0/10, honestly I couldn't stand Elena she was annoying, self centered, selfish, and a hypocrite. She's not the good girl that she's made out to be. She always makes everything about herself, like Caroline's mom almost died and made it all about her and decided to have a makeout session with Damon like wtf. I loved how everytime if someone turned their humanity off they just realized that Elena is not worth dying for. She has a lot of Katherine qualities in her even though she would always say she's not Katherine. She used Elijah, Erasing Jeremy's memory, killing Rebekah. One thing about Elena I hate how when her friends would tell her how they felt and she would just disagree and she would just gaslight tf out of them. She also could not live without a man,. Also I hated how she dated Damon knowing damn well he abused Caroline.

10/10 in season 1 I could not stand Caroline she was so annoying and self centered and she was always in competition with Elena, and that's why Elena and Bonnie would cancel her out because she was just a hater. I think Katherine did her a favor turning her to a vampire because after she turned into a vampire Caroline was that girl 💅, I like that no matter what even if it would hurt somebody's feelings She would always tell them the truth whether they like it or not. Even when she turned her humanity off she really wasn't that bad I feel like they would've have just left her alone because she really didn't do anything we get it she wasn't herself. but I did not like when her humanity was off because it was like she was being her regular self and wasn't at the same time but she wasn't out murdering people until they started bothering her. But I still love her and she's still one of my favorite characters.

100/100 this bitch deserves better out of all of them I don't care, she has been through hell and suffered the most out of all of her friends. None of them wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for her. And I can't believe she stuck through with those people cause she loved them even though they killed every single one of her loved ones. Her grandma died because Damon wanted to open the fucking tomb to find Katherine even though she wasn't even in there, so her grandma died for no reason, then Silas came and killed her father right in front of her, Damon turned her mom into a vampire, Stefan killed Enzo, And she stopped a fucking hellfire. They were always using her for their advantage for something. I feel like they did love Bonnie to the extinct but only because she was so powerful and that they could help their narrative. They only call out to her because they needed something. She gave Caroline the sunlight ring, she resurrected Damon, Jeremy, she literally became the anchor.

0/10, she was so annoying I honestly did not care when she died. She's useless like her brother and she kinda led Jeremy on and would switch back to Tyler. I have nothing else to say about her.

100/100, Katherine was that bitch. I love how she stands her ground and she never to pretend to be something she's not. At the end of the day everyone knew she was trying to save herself and only herself and she made it known numerous times. I really hate how everyone used her and get mad at her when she leaves or when she does some shady shit but you guys literally hate her and all you use her for is when you need her and I feel like if they treated Katherine differently the storyline would be way different. And I feel like Katherine deserved better.

10/10, I love Rebekah she's literally my favorite Mikaelson, Also deserved so much more than she got and she was actually a sweet girl. The only reason they disliked her was because of Klaus, they did not like Klaus so they took their hatred of Klaus out on her.

10/10 I love Lexi she was nice and chill and a good best friend to Stefan,I hated how Damon killed her because I loved her. I really got mad when she decided not to be alive and stay on the other side.

10/10 i loved Sybil she was that bitch and she was an awesome villain of season 8. She did not deserve that much hate she's actually underrated character. she was just betrayed by her sister who turned her to a cannibal and abandoned her on a island. I didn't like that she got killed because I would love to see more scenes from her.

9/10 I loved her and her relationship with Mary Louise honestly I would love to see a little relationship with Bonnie not gonna lie. I know she did not get much screen time but her death scene with Mary was so cute but at least they both died together.

8/10 I love Jenna I know she was kinda oblivious of everything going on because no one told her anything, but her death was so heartbreaking for me but honestly she's underrated. We love Jenna.
