DADDY'S CAR: NANAMI KENTO
he was in his mid thirties when he became your stepfather while you were in your mid twenties— he's marrying your mother who's a few years older than him. one day you decided to steal his car for a while until he finds you and that's the start of your life becoming more interesting.
warning content: non-sorcerer nanami!, public / outdoor sex, unprotected sex, daddykink
“hurry up! let’s go!” you shouted, giggling under your breath. “he’ll never know we took the car, so don’t worry about it.” nobara, your childhood friend asked, “are you sure?” wanting to make sure that you wouldn’t get into trouble. “what if kento finds out?” nobara knew that her little friend, you, didn’t always think things through, allowing adrenaline to fuel her decisions and she often paid the price for her behavior. “yeah, I’m sure,” you replied, excitement lighting up your face. “he’s not even home from work for another hour and we’ll be back long before then.”
with that, the two girls threw open the side door to your sprawling home, and walked out to the shiny black Ferrari that sat safely in the garage. the hardtop convertible was breathtaking with its sporty front end and wraparound rear window, hugged by two flying buttresses. both of you filled the air with wild laughter as you jumped into the driver’s seat and nobara quickly slid into the passenger side. “oh my God, this is so hot!” you exclaimed, running your tiny hands over the thick black leather steering wheel. you grinned at nobara, before slipping the gear into drive. the car bolted out of the parking garage, and nobara squealed with excitement and fear.
“slow down!” she shouted above the loud music floating through the car. you paid no attention, whipping out of the long paved driveway onto the curvy road that led to the freeway. you were in your zone, joyriding in your step daddy’s car, with no care in the world. the girls whipped around corners, flying over a steep slope before the car roughly settled back down on the ground. you flicked the blinker on to the right, and turned onto the open highway. you flicked a switch and the hardtop roof began to collapse in perfect orchestration.
the two were now flying down the highway, the wind whipping their hair, as you increased your speed. it didn’t take long before they saw the familiar turnoff that led to the local pizza joint, and you turned the car quickly as its engine roared. “holy shit!” nobara screeched as the car came to a halt. “This car is amazing!” you laughed at your friend’s expression. nobara’s hair was blown out and she looked wild and dangerous.
you weren’t a stranger to joyriding in your step daddy’s car. since he married your mother a few months ago, you've been sneaking off in it every chance you got. you knew your stepfather would freak out if he ever knew, but you couldn’t resist. the vibrations under you, the music pounding in your ears and the wind blowing in your face was far too tempting to ignore. so far, your new step daddy hadn’t found out and you grinned to yourself at what a clever girl you were, making sure it was put back in the very same spot and that it always had the same amount of gas as when he left it.
“well, i’ll be damned!” a voice shouted from behind the car. the two turned their heads to see yuji walking slowly up to the driver’s side, running his hand over the cars backend. “someone’s going to be in trouble.” yuji was impressed. he always thought you was a daring one, but to steal your new stepfather’s car was a whole other story. “damn girl, you’ve got some balls.” you laughed. “well, hey there has to be some perks to my mother marrying a practical stranger,” you said thinking about just how ridiculous it was that your mother married yet another guy after only knowing him for a few weeks.
yuji grinned. “don’t like him much, huh?”
“he’s okay,” you replied nonchalantly. “I don’t know how long he’ll be around for with mom’s track record but hey, I’m enjoying it while it lasts.”  you had been dating yuji for a few weeks now and he was anxious to see his girl handle such a powerful beast. “jump in the back, nobara,” he said. “i want to see my baby handle this beast the way she handles me.” yuji chuckled as nobara snarled at her friend. “you’re disgusting,” she replied, climbing into the back seat. she looked around waiting for yuji to get in front when she noticed a couple of friends walking into the pizza parlour.
“hey, maki!” she yelled, trying to get her friends attention. “y/n, you mind if I hang back here for a bit?” you smiled, anxious for some alone time with yuji. “not a bit,” you replied and waited for your friend to get out, “i’ll pick you back up in 20.” nobara got out of the car and waved to her friend, “see you in a few.” you glanced at yuji before hitting reverse. “you ready?” you asked, with a little wink. “you bet,” yuji replied as he slid his hand over your left thigh, “let’s go, baby.” you spun out of the parking lot, back onto the freeway. you sped down the road as yuji banged along to the music.
“want to go down to the beach?” you asked, switching lanes in preparation for the exit. you knew yuji had the same thing on his mind. “mmm yeah, let’s go,” yuji winked as he squeezed your thigh a little tighter. you drove through the exit until you came to the beach entrance. you pushed on the gas and the car roared down the tiny, narrow road. before too long you were down by the water and you quickly found a spot in the bare parking lot, just a few feet from the shore. yuji reached over and pulled you close, his arms snuggled around your shoulders.
“i missed you today,” he whispered as he pushed his lips hard against yours. “mmm, I missed you too,” you replied, feeling the warmth of his kiss. you bit lightly on his ear, your tongue making small swirls around his earlobe and down his neck. “god, I want to fuck you in this car,” he groaned, turned on by the hot little girl that was busy nibbling on his neck, and the sleek car that engulfed them.
“then fuck me,” you replied, lifting away from yuji long enough to pull up your tight pink t-shirt. yuji shook his head with desire as yours budding tits peeked out from your little bra. “you’re so damn hot,” he mused, sliding his hand over your chest, squeezing her tits together. “get this off,” he breathed, tugging at the clasp on your bra. The material gave way and you let it fall from your shoulders. “mmm…” yuji moaned, as he lowered his face to your chest. he flicked his tongue over your nipples as you threw your head back and groaned.
“i want you so badly,” you replied, pushing your breasts harder into yuji’s open mouth. with the hardtop still down, you were completely exposed to anyone who came wandering by and the thought only turned yuji on even more. “let’s get in the back.” you nodded and climbed over the leather seat into the back. you lay down with you head resting comfortable on the armrest, you small round ass firmly planted on the seat. yuji climbed into the backseat and lay on top of you.
you ran your fingers through his hair, as you kissed deeply. your breath was hard and fast as you hungrily slid your tongue deep into yuji’s mouth. “you’re pretty horny, huh?” he chuckled, running his hands down the sides of your ass, squeezing your hips tightly. “you want me to fuck you?” he asked, already knowing the answer. he had only been dating you for a few weeks now and you already fucked half a dozen times. you was a nymphomaniac and could never seem to get enough of his cock. yuji had no complaints.
“yeah, fuck me now,” you purred in a voice barely above a whisper. “i want to feel your hard cock inside of me.” yuji sucked in his breath, as he felt his cock harden in his jeans. you turned him on more than anyone before you, and he couldn’t wait to spread your legs and fuck you. he pulled away from you to unzip your jeans. you lifted your hips to help him, and he slid them off easily. you lay in nothing but your little pink panties, dotted with small red hearts. Yuji grinned at how incredibly hot you looked, with “fuck me” painted across your face. he sat up on his knees, reading to take off his own pants when he heard a roar above him.
“just what the fuck do you think you’re doing?” the voice boomed from behind. you scrambled to sit up, grabbing your t-shirt quickly and pressing it against your bare chest trying to shield your naked body from the trespasser. you squinted in the sunlight to see the shadowy figure walking quickly up to the driver’s side of the car.
“oh my god!” you shrieked, realizing that it was your stepfather, nanami. you pushed yuji away, as you struggled to re-dress. “he’s pissed!” nanami quickly approached the car, red faced and angry. “what the hell are you doing?” he shouted, his fists clenched tightly. he looked down at his stepdaughter and her boyfriend, in disgust and quickly stepped back as he noticed his daughter half-dressed. “you have got to be fucking kidding,” he huffed. “It’s not bad enough that you steal my car but you’re actually fucking in it? Are you serious?”
you didn’t know what to do. you sat frozen in place, staring up at your step daddy, terrified that he would tell your mother and you’d be grounded all summer. “i’m sorry,” was all you could muster in response. Yuji jumped out of the car, opposite from nanami and put his hands up in the air. “i had nothing to do with this, man,” he said backing away from the car, “she already had the car when I saw her at the pizza joint.” you shook your head in disgust at how quickly yuji threw you under the bus. what a dick’ you thought.
nanami nodded slowly, staring straight at yuji. “get the fuck out of here,” he said, with a warning. yuji scrambled backwards, walking away from the car mouthing the words “sorry”. he shrugged at you before turning away. nanami watched the kid jog off, in a cloud of fury. he swiftly turned towards you. “you’re a class act,” he stormed, his voice filled with anger. “nothing more than a spoiled little fucking brat.” you recoiled, clutching your t-shirt closer to your chest. you hadn’t even put it back on yet. instead, you felt glued to your seat unable to move.
“i’m really sorry,” you said, giving him your very best pout. It worked on the other guys, you thought. why not nanami? he wasn’t buying it. “yeah, you’ll be sorry,” he replied. “when your mother finds out, you’ll be sorry all summer.” you winced. your mother would freak out if she knew you took nanami’s car without permission, especially since she already warned you that you needed to be on your best behavior around nanami. god forbid if anyone knew that you had a wild streak.
“go ahead, tell her,” you challenged him, your expression quickly changing from sadness to anger. “who cares? i’ll do whatever i want to do, whether you or my mother likes it or not.” you glared at nanami, waiting for his response. he stood in silence, analyzing the young girl. “so, you’re a feisty one, huh?” he responded, his eyes softening. you rolled your eyes, no longer concerned about what nanami told your mother. you had just turned eighteen and you had plans to move out soon anyway.
“whatever,” you replied looking away from nanami. “like I said, tell my mother if you want to. I don’t care.” nanami said nothing. Instead, he opened the driver’s side door and climbed in. he adjusted the rear view mirror so that your face was centered square in the middle, and started the engine. the loud groan of the engine bucked underneath them and you twisted you body to the side, your t-shirt still clutched tightly against your chest. you couldn’t lift it over your head without exposing your breasts to nanami who stared at you through the rear view mirror.
shrugging, no longer caring what he saw, you lifted it up carefully, your tits exposed. “now, now,” nanami quickly responded. “not so fast. if you want to drive my car, you’ll have to give me something in return.” you paused from pulling your t-shirt over your head, and looked back at him through the mirror. your mind raced as you thought about how attractive your step daddy was and how this might actually work out in your favor. you smiled playfully, and lowered your t-shirt back down to your waist, sitting quietly in place, your budding breasts glistening in the light of the sun.
“what exactly do you want in return?” you asked, toying with nanami as you saw the dark look of lust washed over his face as he took you in, naked from the waist up. nanami sat still, his back still turned to you. he glanced up at you through the mirror again and smiled, before kicking the car into drive and driving out into a side road, away from the beach. he said nothing to her until he pulled the car down a narrow path, just a few minutes away from where they were. you looked out through the side of the car, the breeze blowing hard against your chest.
you didn’t recognize this part of the beach but it was obvious that nanami knew where he was going. he pulled into a small road that led down to a secluded area of the beach, and shifted the car in park. you felt your heart beating fast and hard in your chest. you were excited and at the same time you were nervous of what nanami had in mind, but you sat still waiting for him to speak. he turned sideways in the driver’s seat, his arm swinging over the leather, and looked back at you.
“take off those panties,” he instructed before opening the driver’s side door and stepping out. you sucked in your breath. nanami was a nice looking man but he was much older and far more experienced than you were. you felt your skin flush with heat and you looked at nanami intently, barely moving. “did you hear me?” he responded, his eyes wild with hunger.
“get undressed.”
you nodded, keeping your eyes locked on him. you pushed your t-shirt to the side and lifted up your hips, sliding off your little heart shaped panties. you sat there, timid and shy with your legs closely tightly together. nanami looked at the young girl as you awaited his command. without words, he opened the back door to the car commanded you to get out of the car. you sucked in your breath, as your body tingled with nervousness. nanami waited patiently as you slowly got up out of the car, covering both breasts with you arms.
“now isn’t the time to be shy,” he grinned.
“you sure weren’t this timid when it came to stealing my car now were you?” you looked down at her feet, unsure of what to say.
“I’m really sorr…”
“save it,” nanami replied sternly. “I don’t want to hear another word of it.” you nodded, still looking down at the ground. “get on your knees,” he commanded, as he unbuckled his jeans and pulled the long leather strap out and away from him. He threw it into the open backseat of the car. you knelt down on the white sand, and placed your hands on your knees. you looked up at nanami, and his lips curled up in delight at just how sweet and innocent you looked. but nanami knew better. you were anything but innocent and it was time you was taught a lesson.
nanami stepped a few feet towards you, positioning himself so that his thick, hard cock was just inches from your pouty mouth. you looked up, your eyes widening in surprise at how big nanami’s cock was. you hadn’t seen one so big and thick before. you gulped in nervousness. “have you ever sucked a cock before?” nanami asked, looking down at the top of your little  head. you looked up at him with big beautiful eyes, and slowly nodded.
“yes,” you whispered.
“i can’t hear you,” nanami responded, pulling on your hair, gathering in his fists. he yanked on it gently, so that you looked straight up at him. “do you know how to suck cock?” you nodded, your thick black eyelashes fluttering. “i have done it before.” you said.
he nodded and instructed you further.
“open your mouth and suck it,” he commanded, pushing his cock towards your pouty lips. you struggled to squeeze his cock into your pretty mouth. It was so thick and heavy, and you found yourself choking as you tried to suck harder and harder. you took control, pulling his cock out of your mouth and rubbing it all over your lips. “kiss the tip of my cock,” he instructed, as the little girls tongue flickered over the swollen head of his cock. you pursed your lips together and kissed the head of nanami’s cock. you hadn’t done it quite like this before and you tried your best to make him happy, sucking and licking the head and running your tongue up and down his shaft.
“ahh,” nanami moan. “that’s it. that’s a good little girl.”
nanami grabbed your hair again, clenching handfuls of hair in his fist. with a free hand, he began stroking his cock, forcing it into your mouth. “open wider,” he said as he rammed his cock into your throat. “suck my cock.” you felt your mouth oozing with saliva as nanami forced his cock deep into your throat. you gagged, trying desperately to pull your head back but nanami forced it down again, watching closely as you struggled to suck and lick like a big girl.
he watched as your mouth bobbed up and down on his cock, your perky little tits pressing up against his leg as he forced his cock into your slippery throat. his dick felt so good that he had to force himself to slow down by squeezing on his shaft. you stopped sucking, and slowed down, running your lips along the edge of his shaft as you looked up at him innocently.
“is that okay?” you asked with the sweet voice of a little virgin who had sucked a man’s cock for the very first time. but as much as he wished, you were certainly not a virgin, although he knew that you had never felt a cock quite a thick as his. and he was anxious to spread you open and fuck this little doll. he pulled you into a standing position, spinning you around so that you stood back to.
“spread your legs,” he commanded, pushing your legs apart so he could stand between them. he pushed your shoulders forward so that your flat stomach lay against the car, your ass pointed out towards him. you fingers went to your mouth, and you sucked on your fingertip, as you looked back at nanami. you felt your pussy get hot and wet with anticipation. the idea of your new daddy fucking your tight little pussy drove you over the edge and you suddenly had a hunger for him that you never felt before.
“are you going to fuck me, daddy?” you asked in your best little girl voice. nanami felt his cock throb, as he looked over at his little princess. your ass was so tiny and your body was still developing. the sight of your tiny frame made his cock grow even harder. nanami reached down and squeezed your little ass, making you squeal.
“i’m so sorry I stole your car,” you whined, knowing you was about to be punished.
“you’re such a little slut, y/n,” nanami replied, turning away from you so that your  ass was tucked into his left arm. “you can’t take daddy’s car without asking. do you understand?” you nodded, your fingertips still in your mouth. you looked afraid of what was about to happen, but you hard little nipples revealed just how hot you really were. nanami held your hips tightly against his side, and swatted your right ass cheek.
“ohh, daddy!” you cried. “that hurt!”
nanami ran his hand over your ass to relieve the sting, before swatting it again. “are you going to ask daddy before you take my car again?” he asked, his throbbing cock pushing against your leg. “yes, daddy,” you nodded. “i promise I’ll be a good girl.” nanami ran both of his big hands over your ass, soothing it gently.
“That’s my good little girl,” he replied. he twisted around so that he was directly behind you and pushed you down onto the car. “but daddy needs his little girl to show him just how sorry she really is,” he said, rubbing the tip of his cock into your smooth pussy. you moaned. “yes, daddy,” you said in a tiny whisper. you spread your legs so that nanami could push his cock deeper into your tight little pussy. nanami groaned, feeling your little girl cunt struggle to open up enough to fit his cock in. it was so tight and wet, and he had trouble squeezing into you.
“your pussy is so tight,” he breathed, feeling your pussy wrap around his cock, “feel so nice and tight.” you moaned. he made you feel hot, and you suddenly felt your pussy get wetter than ever before. “ohh, daddy,” you breathed not knowing what was happening to your body. you had sex with a boy before, you thought, but it never felt anything like this before. nanami was just so big. you trembled, your skin glistening with sweat.
“daddy, my pussy feels soooo good!”
“that’s a good girl,” nanami moaned, watching as his thick cock slid in and out of the tiny hole. he spread her ass cheeks, and pulled her closer to his body, as he pumped her little pussy in smooth, steady strokes. “baby, i want you to play with your clit for me, could you that for me?” nanami kept pushing in and out of your bare little snatch, as you slid your hand down to your clit. “rub your little clit, y/n,” nanami instructed. you did as your stepdaddy ordered, rubbing your small clit with the flat of your fingertips. you moaned with delight.
“i love playing with my little pussy,” you whispered, rubbing wet circles over your clit. nanami pumped harder, knowing you was about to cum and wanting to push his sperm deep into your little belly at the same time. “you’re making daddy feel so good, baby,” he panted, as he felt his balls tighten and his cock surge. “i want you to cum in my little pussy,” you said in a voice barely above a whisper. nanami’s cock pounded into your little pussy, and he knew he was seconds away from exploding. he increased the rhythm, sliding his entire cock into your precious cunt.
“ow! come inside my little pussy, daddy!” you begged your stepdaddy. “i want to feel it!” nanami couldn’t hold off any longer. you were pushing hard against his cock, and he couldn’t believe how much your little cunt could take. you rubbed your pink slit furiously, and he felt your little body quiver beneath him. “i’m coming, daddy!” you screamed unable to control what was happening to your body. your breath was frantic and you pushed harder and harder against him. nanami bucked against her in deep strokes and his cum exploded into your pussy.
“Ahh!” he groaned, filling his shaft emptying inside of you. he drew back, clutching onto the side of the car as he felt the dizzy aftershock of his orgasm. your chest heaved as you gasped for breath. your face was flushed in heat, and your skin soaked with sweat. “nanami?” you whispered, as you sat down on the sand, feeling your legs buckling beneath you.
nanami gasped, his breath heavy. “yes?”
“that felt so good,” you replied, a bright wide grin on your little mouth.
nanami nodded with a smile.
“u think you and I are going to get along just fine,” he said before gathering his jeans from the backseat.
“get dressed. we have to get home before your mother begins to wonder where you are.” nanami held out his hands to help his little girl get up on her feet. you beamed, excited about the idea of what was to come. your new daddy wasn’t so bad after all, you thought, as you redressed and slid into the passenger seat.
“wait,” you replied, clicking the door shut and pulling the seatbelt over her shoulder. “how did you find me at the beach?” nanami looked at you with a mischievous grin. “do you really think I’d leave the keys to my car hanging on the hook in the den if I didn’t want them to be found?
“you mean, you left them there on purpose knowing I’d take your car?” you asked, confused. “you were always so predictable”, nanami replied, giving you a little wink. “but how did you find me?” you asked. “don’t worry about that”, nanami replied grinning. “but next time, just remember that if you take something from me, i take something from you.” you giggled. so, your stepfather liked to play games, you thought. let’s see what he does when I borrow his Platinum Mastercard.
nanami pushed the gas pedal and the car raced over the bumpy landscape, leaping towards the highway. having a new stepdaughter might not be such a bad thing after all, he thought as he turned up the music.
whe song Secret Lovers blared through the speakers, and they laughed together.
what a perfect song for a perfect day.

girlfriend, i love how we jumped straight to marriage with mechanic!Simon but I'd love to know a bit more about the phase before he managed to lock down his girl for good.
What if, her ex comes looking for her? Some prim and proper, sleek wolf of wallstreet business typa guy appears at Price's Body Shop, recognizing her car and asking about her. No idea how he found her because he usually doesn't go into these parts of town, maybe someone saw her car, maybe she forgot to turn off / delete her location app.
Sees her at the shop and tells her to come home, this part of town is no place for her, he's sorry, the other woman didn't mean anything, he wasn't serious about kicking her out, whatever, you know the drill.
She's not impressed, unfazed, cool as a cucumber because her mind is filled with her new boy toy mechanic!Simon and she keeps drifting off to last night's memory 🤭
Listen, I love a woman who stands up for herself but you really can't expect your possessive new self proclaimed boyfriend and his crew to watch silently while your ex is trying sweet talk and win you back right in front of them, right?
Also, why is Simon being so weird after? There is nothing to worry about, she thinks he's perfect and exactly what she never knew she wanted. I guess she needs to prove it to him by taking matters into her own mouth hands 🤭🤭 pamper him like no one before
Foaming at the mouth at this ask, I wrote the marriage ask before I got to this one because I really wanted to drive home how fast he preposes, but I would love to elaborate about your relationship before he preposes, you’re in a very valuable position and absolutely cling to him for support :((((( it did change a couple of small things to help the story flow better, I hope you don’t mind ;)
Si knows from the start that you're the one :((( you guys act like you've been together since high school even though you've only know each other for a couple weeks :33333 But when your friends start calling, begging you to come back home? telling you that Si is manipulative and a bad guy that's taken advantage of your venerable state >:( of course he gets insecure :((( then your ex shows up?? a man that's the complete opposite of Si, he really starts to doubt himself :((((( lucky you can show him just how much you appreciate him with that mouth of yours ;))))
Tumblr media
tw: loosing friends, controlling ex, possessive!Simon, insecure!Simon, sub!Simon (kinda?), insinuated violence, a lot of lore in this one??? so like porn with a plot??, smut, blowjob, face fucking, deep throating, L bomb (like twice??), talk of reader submitting to Si, there's just a lot going on tbh but baby...you're a giver and THATS for sure, basically you're just looking after your mannnnn and he loves you for it

Obviously your friends call after they hear you broke up with your ex, they can’t find you anywhere and start freaking the fuck out! they love you so much and they’re scared shitless!!!
They only found out you were even missing because you didn’t turn up to brunch on Thursday :((
They called you, and of course you didn’t answer….you were busy ;)))
That obviously raised some alarm bells for everyone straight away, so their next point of contact was obviously your ex!!
Then the reality hit…. You had been missing since Monday night, he kicked you out after a bad fight and nobody had been able to get in contact with you……
Everyone obviously thinks worst case scenario. Car crash, kidnapping,…. maybe you ran away, or god forbid, something worse, maybe you weren’t even alive anymore, I mean, its been fucking days!!!
If someone were to have taken you, you could be out of the country by now, your body could already be decomposing somewhere never to be seen again, maybe they could have saved you if they new sooner :(((( got you the medical attention you needed before you succumb to your injuries…
Obviously everyone is going wild back home, freaking out and doing everything in their power to get in some kind of contact with you.
But no ;))))
As your phone buzzed and pinged with messages, vibrating on Si’s bedside table as he held your naked frame against his broad chest :3333
You were fine, more then fine actually :))))
“Don’t worry about tha’ baby, answer it later they’ll be fine” Si’s morning voice muffled into your hair, strong arms tightening his grip around your waist and his hard cock pressed up against your bare arse ;))
A couple days after Si saved you and towed your car, everything that happened hit you like a ton of bricks. You were kinda disoriented and fuzzy, still a little shaken by the experience and hadn’t really processed that you were in fact living with Simon now….
The warm feeling of toned arms wrapped around you and a hard chest against your back didn’t register it first….. but you never protested :333
Droopy eyelids snapping open ungodly wide when it all hit you :( like, holy shit, there was no way you’re actually doing this, there is no way you fucked a random mechanic, let him take you home, fell asleep in his bed and then just never left????…. that’s batshit crazy behaviour!
What made it even more jarring was from day one, when Si stirred awake he’d simply pulling you closer and kiss your temple like he’d been married to you for 30 years :3
There was no awkward small talk, no “you’ve overstayed your welcome now, i’ll drive you to a motel” or “what time do you think you’ll call a cab”, a simple kiss and a “how’d ya’ sleep princess” deep and groggy, a smirk on his lips as he kissed the back of your neck :)))
Your body relaxed instantly, for a man so big, there was a certain gentleness about him, a protective and calming aura he carried so effortlessly, you truly felt comfortable here…. It was such a strange experience but the idea of leaving his bed made you wince :(((
Even the morning routine you quickly created was natural!!
The tea and coffee lived on the top shelf of the cupboard, sitting at his two seater dining table Si happily watched your cute little arse poke out the bottom of his shirt :))) you had to hop a little bit to bring the tins forward, but all he could focus on was your bum and thighs jiggling >:((
He absolutely didn’t strategically place everything a shelf higher so he could see you do this exact thing the every morning….:333333
He was running unbelievably late for work but he couldn’t care less, the whole morning was filled with quick pecks and giddy smiles. From an outsiders prospective, nobody could guess you met a couple days ago :))))
Holding your waist as you make his lunch for him :)))) following every instruction perfectly :))))
Whispering “good girl” into your ear and kissing your neck gently as you pack his meal into his work bag, fat cock flush against your arse still concealed in his thick work pants, grinding slowly only relieving him slightly >:(
He wanted nothing more then to take you then and there, but the idea of you having to wait around for the rest of the day :((( thighs rubbing together and needy for him was wayyyy more appealing to come home to :( his such a meany
Leaving £100 on the kitchen counter for you, kissing you before he leaves, whispering into your lips to treat yourself :((
“You’ve had a long couple days sweethear’, get ya’ nails done for me, yeah? Get em’ pink or somthin’, okay?”
Obviously you’re memorised by this man at this point… how could you not be?
Agreeing with a slow nod and stars in your eyes as he kisses your nose
Nobody had ever looked at him like that before….
“That’s ma’ girl, i’ll be home by six”
When he finally rocked up at work, Price was pissed beyond belief, Gaz was working on multiple cars at a time due to his absence and Johnny looked like he could kill him as he sat in Si’s office, a line of annoyed customers leading outside the shop.
Soap new absolutely nothing about quotes and insurance claims and all this other bullshit that Simon dealt with as the manager.
Gaz had a hundred questions for him about what he suggested for certain repairs, it was pure chaos!!
But Si couldn’t find it in himself to be stressed, walking into the shop with a shit eating grin, completely bricked up and care free :))))
He’d never been happier then in that moment.
But I want to fast forward to when your friends finally got a hold of you a week after you went missing….
It was the strangest surprise as well as their biggest relief when you answer.
You were completely fine, they could basically hear you smile through the phone……
You started banging on about how you met this amazing guy named Simon, how his a super gifted mechanic, a complete gentleman and how you’re both deeply in love and never been happier!!
Reassuring them that you’re absolutely fine, better then fine actually, you’re safe and loved and don’t plan on ever going back home
And all your girls are like
“Babe….you can’t be serious right now? You’re not in love, you’ve been gone a week! And did you say you moved in with him!? A fucking mechanic!? Have you lost your fucking mind??? What about your job??? What about the entire fucking life you built here?!!!”
And
“That’s it, give me the address right now, we are coming to get you immediately. You’re coming home and never talking to this weird fucking Simon guy ever again. Got it?”
Of course they don’t understand:((((( why would they!?
You’ve finally found your person, it doesn’t matter if you have known Si for a week or a thousand weeks. You’re not fucking leaving!
This courses massiveeeee tension in you’re now ex friendship group.
Half your girls think they should cut you off immediately, staying friends with you only means supporting the relationship and that’s something they’re absolutely not going to do >:(((
The other half think its important to keep in contact with you, they want to be there when you finally “come to your senses” and “need an out”, whatever that means :/….they even insisted on meeting Simon, just to sus out the situation and see what’s really going on, but of course you deny.
Some even try to convince you that your ex was way better for you then Si:((((( how everyone thought you would end up getting married eventually, how there’s still time to realise you’ve made a mistake, that your ex was more then willing to take you back and everything would go back to normal!!!
“Babe, this Simon guy is manipulative, okay? You’re emotional and vulnerable right now and his latched onto that knowing you’re going to cling to him for support. His taking advantage of you babe! I know you think you’re in love and that he says all the right things but its an act! Hello? Are you there? Can you fucking hear me!!??’
They’re just trying to ruin everything though >>:((((((
Your friends never saw how your ex treated you behind closed doors and they could never understand the connection you and Simon had :(
When Si came home from work to you wrapped up in a blanket and crying on the sofa, he was ready to kill whoever caused you so much pain….when he found out it was actually your friends, his heart ached for his poor girl :(((
“Listen to me petal, look me in the eyes, you don’ owe them anythin’, they jus’ don’t understand, alrigh’ don’t cry baby, come on”
Wrapping his big musealy arms, covering you in his post work sweat and musk as you cling to his oily work shirt :((((
Of course you end up cutting off your friends. They could never understand what you and Simon had, if they really cared about you, they’d at least act like they were happy for you, not rip into you and try and push the narrative that you’ve been “manipulated” and “taken advantage of” while in a “venerable state” ://
Si absolutely agreed as well :( you didn’t need to worry about them anymore, they’re in the past and you’re moving forward with your life, its not your fault they haven’t grown up yet ://
Plus!!!! He would love to introduce you to Prices wife and the other girls at the bar he regulars…. Sure they may be a little older and all have children but you’re such a mature girl :((( you’ll get along with them just fine :3
Its definitely not because he wants to bring you around his friends chubby babies, planting the seed in your mind subconsciously, or consciously about having your own little family ;)))
Start taking the steps to really integrate you in his life and friendship circles ;))))))
He knows what his doing :3
You get along with everyone so well too, girls wine nights, being invited over to friends houses for dinner <3
Simon tucking his hard cock into the waist band of his boxes as you bounce one of your friends babies on your hip and coo to them :((((
You would be such a good mama to his babies :( your genetics mixed with his would make the cutest little humans and the image of you pregnant that won’t leave his mind is starting to drive him absolutely fucking feral :(((
Life is so good for you and Si at the moment :((((( of course your stupid fucking ex would come around and try to ruin it for you…..all for him…..
Your ex couldn’t of been more different from Si :(
Clad in a business suit and ridiculously expensive watch, a clean haircut, pure leather business shoes and smelling of expensive cologne, he absolutely stuck out when his Tesla pulled into the shop carpark….
An obviously disgusted look on his face as he entered the front office, not trying to hide his disapproval as he looked at the chipped paint that peeled off the walls and the overwhelming smell of fuel that had seeped into everything within a 50 meter radius, buttoning his suit jacket and dramatically watching his step as he walked on the stained concrete that covered the front office floor :////
Your ex was such a pretentious prick >:( if it wasn’t high luxury, he’d look down on it like it was dirt :/
The thing is, he didn’t actually care where you were after he kicked you out, he just assumed you would end up on a friends couch or something. The idea that you would run off with a random “dirty” man and enter a relationship literally hours after he broke things off enraged him.
But everything changed when he got the news you were living with “Si” a couple hours away and you were “deeply in love” with him.
He played the “distressed”, “regretful” boyfriend to your friends, trying to get as much information out of them as possible under the pretence of “keeping you safe”
Yeah…..right :///
His ego couldn't handle it! How dare you just move on like he was nothing!!! sleep in another mans bed without regret and start a new life with him not even being an afterthought!!!!>:(
You were meant to be heartbroken!!! Turn up on his doorstep and beg for his forgiveness as he laughed in your face :((
But you just moved on?????
He wasn't having that.
You were supposed to worship him, not replace him with some piece of shit mechanic >:(
Your friends fed him a lot of useless information, But there was one sentence that tied it all together.
In the middle of your rant about how much you loved Simon, you mentioned he worked at “Price’s Motor Repairs”
Nobody had heard of any repair shop with that name from around the area, but it was enough information for your ex to track you down…
Alarm bells went off in Simons head when he saw him walk in. He wasn’t from around these parts, that much was certain, and the way his eyes snaked over his name tag and an almost cocky grin spread across his face, he new something was up and it wasn’t good.
Your ex definitely turned up at like 5:59, a minute before Si was meant to close just to make it as inconvenient as possible for him >:/
Si never asked about your ex, he didn’t want to know. He didn’t care what his name was or what he did for a living, all he new was that he was a dickhead and that was enough to put him off. You were his now, your ex wasn’t relevant :((((
It didn’t even cross Si’s mind that this guy could possibly be your ex. It was probably just some wanker that broke down while he was passing through. So he gritted his teeth and walked outside to check out this “broken” car
It felt like a wild goose chase. He claimed there was something wrong with the motor, he checked it out, there was nothing wrong. He then claimed his AC wasn’t working, he checked it out, there was also nothing wrong.
This went on for about 20 minutes before Simon snapped >:(
“There aint nothin’ wrong with ya’ car mate, get that fuck out of er’ before ya’ start wishin’ ya’ did”
Snarky and satisfied, your ex left without a fight, pulling out of the shop and parking far enough down the street that he could see Si pulling out of the shop and heading home…. Leading him to directly to you without a fight….
He followed behind at a safe distance. Far enough away that Si didn’t notice he was being followed, Poor Si was beyond tired, paired with the dim lighting of the sun going down, he didn’t even notice someone was tailing him:(( he was on autopilot :(
All he wanted to do was get home to you, eat his hot meal that you prepared for him and slug on the couch with a beer, you cuddled up against him and block the outside world out for the evening :((
But after arriving home, the second he sat down for dinner, three obnoxiously loud knocks echoed off the front door.
When you saw he didn’t move, you stood up to answer it for him
“Jus’ leave it lovie, can’t be anythin’ important this time of night”
You explained there was an older lady that lived a couple apartments down, she started developing dementia and was in the early stages, she could still look after herself but often forgot small things like buying eggs from the grocery store or how to turn the TV on, she asked you for help all the time!!! and you were sure it was just her!! Of course it was! Who else could it be!
Simon wasn’t convinced. There was no way an old lady could knock with that much force.
He followed behind you hesitantly watching you swing the door open with a smile, only to reveal the piece of shit that was at the shop an hour earlier…
Si was honestly confused as fuck for a second, only for it to all fall into place when this guy started calling you “baby” and demanding for you to come home…..
His first instinct was to pull you behind him, he was beyond shocked when your ex grabbed your wrist with force, making sure Si couldn’t move you out of his line of sight without hurting you…
“Baby, you are coming home now, look at the state of this.. this.. drug addicts flat! you’re coming home with me immediately, stop fucking resisting!” Your ex spat getting more and more enraged by the second
You couldn’t go home, you were home, Si was your home :( But before you could get a word out, Si had your ex by the bicep, the pure force of the grip sending him into cold blooded shock, muscles tensing he lets go of your wrist out of pure shock :((
“Get inside n’ lock the door” he mumbled lowly before slamming it so hard the framework shook violently, you swore the hinges could of given way :((((
Once Si finally returned, you could tell there was something wrong :( something about the way he wasn’t all over you like normal, there was a purposeful distance he put between the two of you, almost like he didn’t want you there :((
After poking and prodding him, it all finally came out
“Ya’ know I could never give ya’ the life that he could doll…. All that fancy shit” a coldness behind his eyes, almost defeat taking over his expression :(
“I know I aint ya type baby, you’re one of them high class type, ya’ don’t belong down ‘ere with me….I’ll drive ya’ back in the mornin, okay? I’m not taken no for an answer, go start packin’’” :((((
He was so defeated, if you could see his heart you could of sworn it was ripped into separate pieces :((
He went on for a good 10 minutes like this, you know he was doing what he thought was in your best interest, but Jesus Christ did it sting :(((
Little did he know your ex was almost £50,000 in credit card debt, you payed for almost everything during the duration of your relationship :((( he never treated you to any sort of luxury like Si did :( never got you flowers or paid for your nails….
He truly thought that your ex had a one up on him…. That you would consider going back to him because of his “wealth”???
Getting off the couch and slowly sinking to your knees in front of him, you reach for the belt of his pants, slowly undoing his buckle :((
His mind is racing so much, so paranoid and distracted that he didn’t notice the sound of the metal being undone :((((
He always focused on your pleasure, making you feel wanted :(( it was your turn to appreciate him, with actions this time :333
Si completely stops mid sentence when your warm, delicate hand palms his soft cock :(((9
He looks down at you slowly, all worry leaving his body as he sees you down on your knees, submissive eyes looking up at him threw your eyelashes and pout on your face waiting for his reaction :(((
You could never leave Si :((( you needed a real man :(( you needed the man in front of you with his thighs spread wide and cock hardening right before your eyes :(((
Palming him agonisingly slow, he grinds against your touch desperate for more friction :((( you tell him how you’d never leave him :(((( how his the only one for you and you couldn’t survive in a world like this without him by your side looking after you the way he does :((
Soft grunts leaving his lips as he pleads with you to take out his length and stroke his now hard, aching cock >:(
“I know baby, I was stupid to think tha’, I know, jus’… jus’ pump it for me yeah?’” Growing increasingly desperate as you don’t follow his command >:( telling him you’re looking after him tonight and that he doesn't need to worry :(( how its his reward for being so big and strong, defending you from your ex and being a man :(( that all he needs to do is relax :((
He audibly whines, a sound you had never heard from him before, when you finally slip his girthy cock out of his boxes.. .
You smile up a him as you kiss his tip and squeeze your thighs together at just the thought of pleasing him and not receiving any physical pleasure yourself :)))))
Letting out a soft feminine giggle as pre cum covers your lips, Si having no choice but to sit helpless and watch the show you’re putting on for him :(((
He could absolutely take the lead if he wanted to, but something about you treating him, sucking his dick solely because you wanted to and not expecting anything in return was an offer you couldn’t turn down ;)
Teasing Si was fun but he deserved more tonight :((((( if it was up to you, lapping at his swollen tip for hours until he finally releases a desperate hot load onto your face would be a dream, but not tonight, Si gets everything tonight ;)
Slowly circling his leaky tip with your thumb, a soft groan falls from his lips as he sinks further into the couch :(((
Pumping him lightly, you place soft kisses from the top of his cock to his base :(((( Si bucking his hips and pleading with you threw his eyes just to suck it :((((( he tries so hard to hide his whines through deep groans but fails horribly :((( he was so tired tonight, emotionally and physically, any self control he would normally have was out the window :((
Taking your tongue, you lick from the base to the tip, salty sweat and pre cum filling your taste buds as your tongue glides up his vainy shaft :(
Si jerks forward a little at the sudden warm contact, throwing his head back as he eases into the warm sensation :3333
Without hesitation, you deep throat his 8 inch length, his tip hitting the back of your throat and your eyes watering instantly :((
Si’s callused hand instinctively grips your hair, rough grunts bounce off your apartment walls as he helped you set a ruthless pace, your mouth being abused and jaw aching from his sheer girth :(((
“That’s it Darlin’, fuck ya’ such a good girl for me, look at ya’ look at tha’ beautiful fuckin’ mouth taken’ me”
Holding your head still as he throat fucks you, your saliva dripping down your chin and onto the dirty cream carpet that covers the living room floor:(((
Seeing the small bump of his cock appear at the front of your neck with each brutal rut :(( your flushed cheeks and teary eyes make a small cocky smile spread across his face >:(
You were his! All his! Claiming your throat and having full control over how he fucks it makes his achy balls tighten as they slap against your chin :((
“That prick could never fuck you like I could, he’ll never feel ya’ fuckin throat again” he was so close to his release :((( Si was normally really good at holding off but the possessiveness of claiming your mouth with thick cum was pushing him over the edge in a matter of minutes :((((
Grabbing your hair tighter, he forcefully makes you deep throat his dick, your nose touching his pelvic bone and buried in his musky pubes <3 moans from your full mouth muffled by his cock shoved deep into your throat >:((
He cums hard…slow, deep thrusts as ropes of his salty seed run down your throat, you have no choice but to swallow his semen that his so politely given you :((
With each thrust, he lets out a quiet and strained “mine”. Its more to himself then you, reassuring himself that you were in fact his and his to keep :((
You remove your abused mouth from his cock, slowly pumping his now semi-hard dick with a dopey smile on your face, cum leaking out the corner of your mouth as you innocently look up at him and place a kiss on his swollen tip :))
You look so beautiful, covered in his cum and claimed :)
He leans down to kiss you, a thank you for what you did for him, but before he could even open his mouth you whisper a quite “I love you” into his lips…
the first “I love you” you and Simon had ever shared :((
Its safe to say he said it back :333
And he says it again with his face inbetween your legs a minute later ;)))

[MK X READER] New Era - Chapter .004
first part | previous part | next part
Note: I often try to plan out plot points while I’m at work, and I was like wow! I get why Kronika went insane because trying to keep all these plot points (especially the parts where I plan on diverging from canon) logical is wild.
This is the first chapter that doesn’t follow any of the main campaign events at all, so it was a bit more of a struggle to write for, but I hope you enjoy it regardless! There will be more chapters of this, building up the much needed foundation for the champions squad. Don’t worry Lin Kuei fans, there will be a few more Lin Kuei moments too during these times, allowing us to see them again before they disappear for a while during the tournament arc!
Shang Tsung deliberation is up until a week from when chapter 3 was released/aka when the tumblr poll ends.
Otherwise, I will accept any wants for any other love interests until we get closer towards the Outworld arc since I’m pretty sure all Earthrealm men are already confirmed.
For example, someone asked for Reiko, so here’s a poll for him to gauge interest, AO3 fans, please comment on your thoughts for him!
FROM THE EYES OF ONE WHO HELPED TRAIN SOME NEW CHAMPIONS
Turns out, thinking about the things that worried you leads to overthinking.
Pacing back and forth in your room, you felt the cool wood under your feet. With how much you paced around the room, you were surprised the wood had not been ruined at this point. You paused in your pacing and you looked outside the window to look at the moon.
You were never a good sleeper, finding it hard to sleep at night. But oddly enough you always found yourself awake for the sunrise due to routine. You often found naps were a good supplement for your tiredness, but some days you would suffer being awake without much rest.
Your memories buzzed around your head too much to rest easy. You paced back and forth once more for a few more minutes until you stopped at the door of your room, briefly considering going and seeing whether Liu Kang could help ease your troubled mind.
Your hand laid upon the handle, the metal knob cool to the touch. Goosebumps trailed up your arm as you stared at the doorknob. You tried to will yourself to move. To finally speak with Liu Kang about the memories that weighed upon you, to free yourself of this silly burn that you brought about upon yourself.
Unfortunately, you could not bring yourself to step outside your door.
You were too racked with guilt to do that.
You were afraid of the idea that you would slip up and mention the many other memories you had recovered, the timeline you were beginning to piece together, and Liu Kang would begin to realize this. You were afraid of upsetting the man who most generously took you in and allowed you to stay by his side despite your odd past.
You did not want to ruin the good thing you had going for yourself.
Your hand dropped from the doorknob. Sighing, you walked over to a particular floorboard and carefully lifted it up. You reached inside and pulled out the leather bound diary that you had found on yourself when you first awoke in this world. Along with it was a pen that somehow, despite the years, had not run out of its smooth ink.
This was your only confidant in the memories you had. Moving towards your desk, you adjusted the lantern in your room to hang over the desk, giving you more light to work with. You stared at your words, trying to look at what you recalled.
Your memories seemed to be linked with those you interacted with, so the Lin Kuei and Liu Kang and the memories surrounding them were the strongest. Even still, you had holes in what should be completed memories. Meeting the new people seemed to patch some of them up, though.
You sighed as you skimmed the pages. They were mostly short phrases describing what you remembered from these brief memories. It was hard to keep them in order since they were random and never in order whenever you got them.
You picked up the pen, spinning it with a flourish before you began to write.
Kung Lao, a cocky monk of the Shaolin with a razor hat. Once was friends with Liu Kang. Seems now he is a farmer and friends with Raiden.
Raiden, Thunder god. Seems to have once been what Liu Kang is now. Mortal now, and a farmer of Fengjian with Kung Lao.
Johnny Cage, actor. Was with Sonya Blade and had a kid. Still an actor, has a different wife, and no kid.
Kenshi Takahashi, once a blind swordsman with telekinesis and telepathy with a magic sword. Had a kid. Now seems that he has his vision, uncertain of abilities.
You sighed as you put down your pen, staring at the words in front of you. You tried to will yourself to conjure any memories you had of these men previously from just their name. Unfortunately, this just gave you a headache…and not the kind that gave you any helpful memories.
“Damn.” You muttered leaning back in your chair. You had never had control of your memories, even after all these years. They were rather inconvenient and useless, since they rarely gave you any insight on the ones you meet. They’re all so different.
The only constant was their names.
You closed your eyes as you thought of the four men you had written down. Who were they? What was their connection to you? You sighed as you rubbed your forehead, trying to ease the headache you had accidentally given yourself.
Ah shit, you were in charge of training them, weren’t you? Or at least, somewhat.
They were going to be a headache in more ways than one, it seemed.
“So, how, exactly, am I to train the four?” You inquire as you glance over to Liu Kang, briefly noting the way the sunlight landed on his features. It was another morning of watching the sunrise with the fire god. You had gotten a few hours of sleep, at least, before rising to meet up with Liu Kang as usual. A few hours was better than nothing.
You had started off quiet, before natural conversation hit the both of you. You discussed many things, mostly the events of the past few days, before the conversation naturally landed on the new recruits. You found out that they were going to be arriving at the Wu Shi academy in a few days time, giving them enough time to get their life sorted out before they drastically change theirs.
The god looked over to you. It seemed like he had been expecting this question, and you wondered just how easily he could read you.
“You are to simply oversee their training and test their skill. I know you are not all too familiar with the teaching of the monks, so they shall handle the bulk of it.” He explained, and you found yourself sighing with relief. “Not to mention, I shall also assist when I am able.” You were not ready to have to handle training four grown men, so hearing that you were mostly there to test them was great.
You were good at fighting, at least. It was a skill that people often commended you for.
Madam Bo often praised you as one of the best she had sparred with. The old Lin Kuei’s grandmaster often found value in the practice you gave his sons. You would never admit it, but you prided yourself on these compliments.
“That’s good.” You remarked, feeling your shoulders relax. You returned your gaze to the rising sun and the pretty colors that were painted in the sky. You paused, deliberating over the next words that were to leave your mouth. “Why me?” You asked, your voice almost shy. That question had been haunting you ever since you found out about this arrangement back in Fengjian.
“Because I can trust you.” Liu Kang began, his voice filled with certainty. You felt a pang of guilt, your gaze dropping to your hands. Your mind screamed with how you were unworthy of his trust with the memories you found yourself unable to confide in him with. “And I know you will provide a healthy challenge to them.” You chuckled at his words, pushing out the voice that whispered in your head.
“Why are we recruiting these people so late?” You inquired, asking another question that had been bugging you for a while now. You were glad that Liu Kang was a benevolent god, and never seemed to mind your questions. “Would it not be more wise to recruit them earlier since the tournament is mere months away?”
“Had we sought them before, none of them would be ready.” Liu Kang answered wisely, and you hummed. You knew better than to ask how he knew this, despite the years together there were some things you knew he kept secret, and his innate knowledge was one of those things. You supposed it was just a godly thing.. “It is only until now that an opportunity presented itself.”
“And so you decided that I was one of the best options to train them within a few months?”
“Indeed.”
“You have a lot of confidence in me, Liu Kang.”
“Should I not?” The god questioned. The tone in his voice surprised you, and you looked over to him instinctively. You were surprised to see such a strong look of confidence on his face. Gently, he put a hand on your shoulder. His thumb rubbed your shoulder comfortingly. Through your clothes and his hand wraps, you felt the comfort of his warmth.
“No, you should.” You said, your voice filled with a bit more confidence. You looked at his face, feeling oddly proud of yourself to have earned the god’s confidence. He nodded, seeming content with the shift in your attitude. “I shall do my best.” You said, bowing for the man.
“I know you will.”
“How are you boys doing?”
Striding into the courtyard of the Wu Shi academy, you looked at the four recruits. You noted how each of them wore the uniform, and how it all seemed to fit them, more or less. You walked with confidence in front of them, imbued with the words you had been given before from Liu Kang.
All of them were various degrees of exhaustion. Not surprisingly, the actor seemed to be having it the roughest. He was still fine, but it was easy to tell he was the most winded out of the four. You assumed his luxurious lifestyle had something to do with it.
You sucked in a breath as you fought the massive headache these four were giving you. Being stuck with overseeing their training, you assumed you’d be having this feeling a lot. It was no matter, you’d simply sleep it off right now.
Strangely enough, despite the intensity of the headache, you were unable to glean any memories easily. Probably something to do with so many people trying to resurface at once.
“Training has been rigorous, but enlightening.” Raiden replied, his face flush from exertion, and you noted how out of the four he was one of the ones faring a bit better. You assumed it was because he wasn’t underestimating the monks’ intense lessons. You smiled at him, nodding.
“Good, as it should be.” You said, humming as you clasped your hands behind your back, observing them all. Despite their tired state, you could tell they were at least eager. “As Lord Liu Kang has said, I will be partially in charge of your training.” You grinned at them, seeing them perk up at your words. “Today will be a…benchmark to see where your skills lie.”
“Who exactly are you again?” Johnny asked, still hunched over slightly, hands on his knees as he looked up at you. You saw the slight glares from the others, probably because they saw his words rude. He put up his hands defensively. “Hey, I didn’t get a proper introduction like you guys did.” He defended himself.
“Don’t worry, I don’t take offense.” You chuckled, shaking your head. You said your name, clearly and loudly so the others made sure what it was. “I’m a companion of Lord Liu Kang, and he has entrusted me with overseeing your training.” You explained before clearing your throat. “I’m not one for lectures, so I’ll get right to it, who wishes to go first?”
The four looked amongst themselves, seeming to deliberate amongst themselves silently on who would face this challenger they’ve never seen fight. You let out a silent chuckle, wondering how they sized you up. Eventually, you watched as Kung Lao strode up to take the challenge.
“Let me show the others how it’s done.” He declared, seeming confident. You saw the small smirk on his lips, and in return you smiled graciously at him. You gestured for the others to step to the side, and you watched as a few of the monks gathered around to watch. The monks were no stranger to your fighting prowess.
“Bold.” You commended, nodding as you walked into place with Kung Lao, settling into the all too familiar fighting pose that you were familiar with. You watched as he mimicked your actions, settling into his as well. “Now, allow me to show you why I was entrusted with this task.”
You watched as Kung Lao approached, confidence in his strides. Almost too confident. You held a defensive position. The point of this test was to gauge their abilities, so acting on the defensive first would allow you to see what their confidence and skills on the offense were like.
As he swung the first punch, you blocked it with ease. You supposed it was a bit unfair, having already known what Kung Lao’s fighting style was like after watching him in the teahouse along with the bits of memories you had of him. You allowed him to attempt to break your defense more, noting how he had a strong emphasis on his punches with their quick nature.
You had to commend him on his confidence, he knew he was a strong fighter. The farmer had a lot of potential.
It wasn’t until his major slip up with throwing a rather risky punch that you decided that it was time to go on the offensive. Ducking under the move, you went for a sweep, knocking the man off his feet. You waited until he got back up before you grabbed him. Taking him off his guard, you brought him close as you winded your leg back.
As you sent the kick flying into his stomach, you transformed your leg into that of a secretary bird’s, allowing you to put even more power than you would have normally.
“Holy shit!”
You disregarded the actor’s exclaim as you watched Kung Lao fly back, tumbling from the strike. As he stumbled up, he seemed surprised before hesitantly approaching once more. This time, he utilized more caution as he swung at you, trying to even employ the technique of grabbing you like you had. Easily you shoved him back, retaliating by whirling around and transforming yourself to have a kangaroo’s tail which you swung at him with.
This back and forth went on for a bit, with Kung Lao being easily fended off by you before he eventually conceded, calling for surrender.
“You fight well.” You commend, bowing towards Kung Lao. He did the same as he panted, nodding as he caught his breath. You stood up to look at him as he gestured towards you, a look of awe on his face.
“I am amazed at your transformation skills.” The farmer admitted, looking at you up and down with amazement as he continued to catch his breath. “Is it possible to learn that?” He asked, almost too eagerly as he walked over to the side to rest up.
“It is a skill I was born with, so unfortunately I cannot teach you.” You told him, grinning as you held out your arm to transform it into a bear’s with its claws out. “I have the ability to transform any part of my body, and all of me, into an animal.” You explained as you transformed your arm back as easily as you had changed it.
“Now, who is next?”
You causally stood there, only having barely broken a sweat as they stood to the side, catching their breath. A pleased look appeared on your face as you crossed your arms, noting how they each fought. Today you had gone easy on them, being more defensive than your usual aggressive fighting style. You surmised they’d only have a few bruises each because of this. You tried to stay away from anything that would rip and tear.
Honestly, your memories had been helpful for once. They helped clue you in on the fighting style of each man, the odd exception being Raiden who felt pretty different than the man you remembered. It was nice to know what to expect, unlike the first time you had fought the Lin Kuei in training…
Kung Lao had been interesting, being the most confident in his strikes and fighting style. That matched with his speed allowed you to see where he truly shone in his fighting. Taking defense against him was a challenge due to how swiftly he struck, but being able to defend well proved useful as you could counter him when he was left vulnerable after a failed attempt at breaking your defense.
You hummed, recalling how this version of the man lacked the iconic razor hat you remembered. You wondered briefly if you should suggest it to him, or if it’d be odd. You also noticed how despite his confidence in this life, he was at least a bit more humble than when you remembered him last.
Johnny Cage had been unique, his fighting style more flashy and all in than what you were used to. It felt like it should be impractical from just watching it, but the man made it work somehow. He also had interesting evasion, which almost took you off guard. You think you could definitely work with it, especially teaching him how to better evade the opponent since he seemed to grasp that concept well already.
Your eyes looked over to Kenshi. Kenshi had been odd to train with since he wielded a sword, and it felt like he had the most experience in fighting. Your eyes trailed down to his hands, noting the tattoos that littered his hands. You remembered how Liu Kang had briefed you in on his past. A yakuza…that explains the calculated way he fought.
You wondered if you’d ever have to deal with the telekinesis you remembered he had in his past life.
Raiden had been the most different from his past life. In both his fighting since he lacked the lightning powers you remembered so strongly, and how he carried himself. He was not as confident as you hoped, despite the obvious skill he had.
You’d have to work on that with him.
“Excellent work for day one with me.” You congratulated, causing the four men to look at you with varying degrees of confusion. You guessed they thought they had done not so well due to how you had battled them off easily. “As I said, this is a benchmark, so I know now how to best advise where to take your training, especially since the tournament is mere months away.”
“That was a benchmark?” Johnny Cage asked, sending you a disbelieving look. He had been one of the ones you had ended up fighting the most before he conceded. He had been stubborn against you, and you don’t know whether that was foolish or something to be commended for. Maybe it was both. “You kicked our asses.” You chuckled as you grinned at him.
“Did you expect anything less from someone who is allowed to stand by the Fire God’s side?” You asked, a hint of playfulness in your tone before you observed them once again. “We’ll meet again tomorrow after your training with the monks. For now, you are all dismissed.” You said, bowing towards them, your hands forming a fist into your palm similarly to how Liu Kang does.
You turned around, intending to go back to the Fire Temple for a well deserved nap, especially since the headache was getting nearly unbearable at this rate. Then, you heard your name being called. Turning around with a raised eyebrow, you watched as Johnny jogged to catch up with you.
Your head pounded as he neared, but you at least felt some relief as you felt a few more memories resurface.
You recalled how he had been very, very arrogant as a younger man. He had brazenly had his name tattooed across his chest, and for a moment you allowed your head to dip to his chest, curious if he still had it in this life. Somewhere, after what you could only remember a big event as a tragedy, you remembered he mellowed out.
You wondered how this one’s attitude laid on those scales.
“You know, you’d be a hit in Hollywood.” He told you, his breath still heavy with exertion. You raised an eyebrow, surprised at his words. You weren’t all too familiar with what he was talking about, but you assumed it had to do with his acting background which you vaguely remembered.
“Really?” You asked, holding back a chuckle as you looked at him with amusement. Even across the world, he was still thinking about his acting career. “What makes you say that?” You inquire, deciding to entertain his thoughts.
“People dig animals,” The actor started off, gesturing to you, “and not to mention how much you’d be valued there for being able to act as any animal?” He continued, acting as if he were trying to sell you on the offer. “Directors would be hitting you up left and right.” You felt yourself grin a bit more at his praise, but reminded yourself not to get caught up in his flattery.
“Are you implying I’d only be adored for my animal side? And not my own charisma?” You asked with faux offense, deciding to try and tease Johnny. You were surprised how he didn’t even flinch at your words and smoothly replied.
“Nah, you got that and more.” The actor admitted, shrugging as he pointed at you. “but it’s not often people meet an animal shapeshifter.” He pointed out with a nod, making you nod. “So if anything is your claim to fame, it’s that.”
“You’re interesting, Cage.”
“So I’ve been told.” The man replied wittily as he grinned at you, eagerness shining in his eyes. “So, you interested in becoming a star after all this blows over?” It was an innocent seeming question, but you narrowed your eyes, not certain on the intention of the question.
“Why are you so interested in my career path?” You inquired, your tone a touch more serious. You glanced over to see where the others had gone. All gone. No one to save you from this man’s questions. You crossed your arms as you gazed at him with skepticism.
You were hit with a wave of nostalgia as your mind reminded you all of a sudden how he had offered a similar gig in your past life.
Some things never change.
“Listen, I talked with Liu Kang, this shit has movie written all over it.” Johnny Cage decided to be a bit more transparent with you. You raised an eyebrow, and gestured for him to go on. “I think if what he says is true, I can make a box office hit!” He gestured towards you eagerly. “And I think you have what would make this movie superb, my friend.”
“Interesting…I’ll have to pass though.” You said, shutting him down. You watched as his glee dropped a bit, and you started to walk off. You were surprised as he still walked over to try and cut you off.
“Come on, hear me out-”
“Not right now, Cage.” You replied, putting a hand up to silence him. He huffed and you could tell he held back rolling his eyes. You sent him an unamused look. “Perhaps focus on your training first, then we can discuss it.” He perked up, and you decided it was best to start to walk off before he can try and talk to you about his movie shenanigans again.
“Really!?”
It was another sleepless night.
Sighing, you swung your legs over the side of the mattress as you sat up. Perhaps you should stop trying to take naps and fight through the sleepiness so you can actually sleep at night for once. You sigh as you slump over, rubbing your eyes.
You should go outside, maybe do something productive. It’s been a few days in a row of this, you had to try something.
Not knowing exactly what to do, you followed your sense of wanderlust. You left your room, down the halls and out the building. From there, you left and found yourself standing at the entrance of the Fire Temple. You hesitated as you stepped out onto the dirt path, hearing the rocks crunch beneath your feet.
You’ve never left in the middle of the night.
It’s not like you had a curfew, or that you had any promise to stay inside the Fire Temple at night. Far from it, you remembered how Liu Kang told you that you were allowed to come and go as you pleased. That was long ago. You never thought much of his words, thinking you would never stray far.
You wouldn’t, but you figured there was no harm in going and walking off your restless energy instead of staying cooped up within the Fire Temple.
With a burst of anxiety and what you could barely consider courage, you walked on. You followed what felt like an invisible trail, until you found yourself standing in front of the Wu Shi academy.
Strange, but you supposed maybe you could train. Walking carefully into the academy, you made sure to be quiet, as to not disturb the monks with any noise near their sleeping quarters. You found yourself making your way towards the training grounds where you were surprised to hear the faint noise of training.
Transforming your ears into bat ears, you tried to hone in on the sounds. You furrowed your eyebrows as you stood still, trying to make sure the person was not a threat, and if you could recognize them. You blinked as you suddenly came to a realization.
You walked quietly, making sure to follow the lessons Madam Bo and Bi-Han had pushed onto you to remain quiet and stealthy. Be stealthful as the night, and as deadly as the dawn. You peered from around a pillar, and spotted the person standing there alone, and you confirmed your suspicions.
It was Raiden.
You watched for a few minutes, changing your eyes to those of owl eyes to see better in the dark, to better observe. He was going over the basics, ever diligently. You pursed your lips, raising an eyebrow. You had thought he had been more…feeble, being more reserved than Kung Lao. And yet, he was here, training in the dead of night.
What a peculiar man.
After a few more minutes, you watched as he made a critical error in his form. He didn’t seem to notice, and you sighed. He kept on training, repeating the error. You cringed. That was going to form a nasty habit, and if you were to be the mentor Liu Kang trusted you to be, you couldn’t let that happen.
Moving out of position, you slinked closer towards him, stopping to lean against a pillar that was only a few feet away from him. You changed your eyes back, letting your eyesight return back to normal. You felt the all too familiar feeling of the headache return, and you grimaced.
Your memories for Raiden were confusing. He was like a completely different man in almost every way. If your memories didn’t trigger in such specific ways, you wouldn’t believe the man that appeared in your head was the same one that was training in front of you.
Maybe because he wasn’t the same man.
“You’re doing it wrong.” You spoke, your voice ringing clear in the quiet courtyard. You watched as Raiden jolted from surprise, stumbling as he whirled around in a fighting stance to face you. You smiled at him as you held your hands up. “Relax, Raiden.” You said softly, to try and calm him down from the sudden shock.
“Why are you…?” Raiden began, eyes wide in confusion as he stared at you, not processing the situation quickly. He swallowed as he tilted his head, mouth open as he tried to muster up the words to speak. You brushed off his confusion, gesturing to his stance.
“Your form was off.” You comment, gesturing to his body and pointing towards where he exactly had been incorrect. “You were practicing with it being wrong. That’ll be bad practice for you.” You point out. You watched as he tried to correct his form, and you hummed, gesturing to instruct him on how to fix it. As he finally shifted back into a proper stance, you nodded. “Better.”
“Um…thank you.” The farmer boy said, his awkward feeling at the situation obvious. Not only did it show on his body language, but it was shown plainly on his face. You had a feeling this man couldn’t obscure his feelings for the life of him.
It was good to be honest, but you were worried it might work against him.
“I have trouble sleeping at night.” You explained, crossing your arms as you sighed. Your eyes looked down at the ground as you noted how the moonlight fell and illuminated the area around you two. “I decided to go on a walk and wound up here. I thought it might be nice to try and train, then I saw you out here.” You looked up, and gestured to him.
“Oh.” Raiden said after a few moments of silence. His face flushed as he put two and two together that you were asking for him to explain why he was there too. “I…uh, couldn’t sleep.” He admitted, looking down to the ground in defeat. “It’s different here than in Fengjian.”
Ah. Homesickness.
“I see, so you decided to try and train and work off your restlessness?” You inquired, tilting your head as you tried to gauge his reaction. He paused, considering your words for a moment, before nodding hesitantly.
“A bit.” He said, nodding his head. “But I was also thinking about our sparring today.” The farmer admitted. You blinked in surprise, and nodded, wanting him to go on. “I just wanted to go over what the monks taught us today, so next time I would fare better against you.”
How humble and sweet.
“While I admire your determination, there’s two problems.” You said as you kicked off the pillar you had been leaning against. You strode over to stand closer to Raiden, gesturing to him. “One, you must be diligent in your forms. Practice without purpose only builds bad habits.” He nodded eagerly, seeming to take your words seriously. “Second, there is a thing such as over practicing.”
“I see.” Raiden said, letting your words sink in as he nodded. He stared at you with a mixture of admiration and attentiveness, and you smiled. Quickly, he bowed in appreciation. “I’ll keep this in mind, thank you.”
“No problem, what kind of mentor would I be if I let you practice such horrible habits?” You inquired, crossing your arms. You observed the man a few moments more, and you sensed that neither one of you were quite tired enough to go to bed. “I have a feeling neither one of us is ready to sleep, would you like me to run you through the forms again?”
“Yes please!”
Maybe you were cut out for this after all.

continuation of a selfship drabble master list here
The leaves on the ground give him pause, brow furrowing as he notices you haven't posted anything for a solid two weeks now, not even a status. Almost a month since he spoke to you last.
He sighs, berates himself for doing it but he has to know that you're at least still alive. Checking your location first and he's thankful you still haven't turned it off. Looks like you're either headed back to your apartment or out. Sees that Taro is with you and closes the app.
Tells himself that's good enough, that at least he knows you're living, that you were in the hands of someone he trusted dearly. So he pockets his phone only to pull it right back out.
Is she okay?
Sky blue eyes stare down at the message, chancing a glance at you who's driving as if he could get into trouble. Slander thumbs make quick work of a response.
I reckon
makin me sing all the fuckin songs on the radio
especially TOD
Kaza feels conflicted, tongue running along his teeth as he rereads the rapid messages. Before he can reply another comes on.
Your singles've been playing a lot. not while I'm in the car but shit is obvious.
Fuck, fuck he shouldn't have even fuckin recorded them. Soft sad melodies that played in his head during the witching hour. Shouldn't have ever put your voice memos layered to sound like background barely audibly just for him to call out to you before the next verse. Text me when you get home, I love you. Something he said to you over and over again.
that vent song we made together that Muzan fuckin released anyway.
and this sad ass song I can't stomach
we ain't strangers to them right
pretty girl think that? that we're fuckin strangers?
Attached is a link to the song that he clicks quickly to listen to, lyrics solemn and sad. Just his single, just like the vent song he and taro made, still unable to capture the well of sadness and anger in his chest. Glaring down at his phone, trying to calm his breath, Akaza was the main reason why the band had to take a hiatus in the first place.
Punching band members, punching aggressive fans that asked about you, punching Muzan when he tried to offer up his niece as someone that he or Gyutaro could date. He would have broken his jaw if it wasn't for the other three band members trying to pull him off.
Like pulling a wild dog off a bone.
A wolf off a carcass.
He did break Koku's orbital bone with his elbow when he tried throwing them off. It was Gyutaro who thought quickly enough to shout "She'll be pissed if ya get jail time."
But the threat of that died the next day when he found himself smiling down at four men in a four v one that he instigated. Running his hand through his fading pink hair. Biting the inside of his already raw cheek.
He reassures his bandmate easily
your pretty girl always thinks the world of ya. tell her the truth she'll believe ya
To which the dark haired man replies quickly
fuck off you first
"Stubborn bastard." He growls to no one but himself before his phone pings, not a message but a notification.
Clicking on it way too quickly to see a selfie of you and Taro both flicking off the camera. The man is smoking, cigarette hanging from his lips, phone in his other hand screen still aglow as if he was in the middle of a reply.
Clearly at a stop light, your hair wind blown and the two of you are in your car, the one he helped you fix up and by helped he asked you to "sit and look pretty princess" while he did all of the work because he wanted to.Still does.
But he can't, not anymore. No way to explain what happened and maybe he doesn't think he deserves to even attempt to tell you a truth you won't believe anyway.
The caption reads still livin, still hate the end of summer
He pats himself down for his smokes, debates if he should vague, cupping his hand around the end of the stick before the flame flickers to life and catches. Burning as he breathes in and exhales slowly leaving a gray cloud in its wake.
Deciding against it when another selfie comes through, you with your eyes closed and peace sign up, oversized hoodie, his hoodie, making the neckline a bit lower, seeing something circular and black on a dainty chain, like a ring or band. A necklace he doesn't recognize, at least at first, eyes going to the caption.
we'll go back to strangers
Stomach dropping as the lyrics match up to the song he listens to now. Although she wasn't musically inclined she's always been drawn to it, he knew that. Knew her music reflected her moods more often than not.
Knew that when he released his single. The one that made her go radio silent to the entire group, even if she wasn't angry with them, for an entire two months before Gyutaro showed up at her door.
Another text comes in pulling him from his thoughts only to fan the flames.
she still has that fuckin ring
And then it hits him, the circular band too small for his inked digits burns against his skin under his shirt hanging from a chain. Fingers flying to it to feel the smoothness of the rose gold and the embedded onyx gem and black diamonds surrounding it. The same ring you flung back at him when everything happened so fast.
Looking at the photo you posted again and finally seeing the 'pendant' for what it really was. A black wedding band meant to match a black gemmed wedding ring.
The revelation makes him see red, makes a clotting mix of deep sorrow and anger twist and knot in his chest, losing when one starts and the other ends. Just how he sees you and him. Quick to start his bike, to abandon his half finished cigarette and skid out of his parking spot before he heads back inside to bloody his knuckles again. He was the cause of this, of your sorry.
Your pain.
Heart beating way too fast and yet slowing as he starts to become numb. Grip tight on his bike's handle and phone making it glitch. Snapping pictures, opening apps from feeling his skin, the sensors not knowing what to register and trying to pinpoint the most pressure.
Meanwhile his speedometer climbs higher and higher.
190
200
220
250
Slowly creeping higher as his bike whines from exertion. Weaving between cars that barely register as a blur as he navigates the highway this late at night.
His phone vibrates excessively before his headphones interrupt the looped song to signify he had an incoming call before picking up for him. Wind from no helmet going to to make it near impossible for him to say anything back unless he screamed.
"Slow down and delete that fuckin picture before she sees it. Right the fuck NOW!" Gravely voice rarely raised, especially when aimed at family.
But Akaza can't be fucking bothered, barely audible as he growls "Shut the fuck up." With that he hangs up and when it rings again he doesn't bother answering it, launching it into the concrete guard unable to watch it explode into a million pieces from his speed.
Part of him thinks he should let go, just finally let the ride take him like it was always supposed to.
Fitting that a violent life would lead to a violent end.
Until the ghost of you curls around his back, static before your pretty voice would ring through his ear pods because you called him on his way home from work.
"Careful Jiji, I just want you home in one piece."
Making him grip his brakes as fast as possible without flinging himself over the handlebars, stopped on the side of the shoulder as a few cars past by him.
He walks back the handful of miles to where he threw his phone, whistling lowly when he sees nothing but a star shower of glittering glass and smashed innards.
Kneeling down and determining that nothing was salvageable. Running his broad palm through his hair slowly.
God could he be anymore of a fuck up?
He was sure he couldn't.
But he'd be proved otherwise, when he turns on his new phone the next afternoon sees several missed calls from his foxy sister, from Taro and one from you at 3am.
Not a vague, not a message, a phone call. Voicemail flashing at the top of the fresh screen. Inked fingers fumbling over the glass as he goes to listen, your voice filling him with absolute dread.
How you try to force the venom into your tone, how you can't hide how you've been crying, how you're still shaking. Pouty lip wobbling from the weight he put on you by giving in to his anger.
"You better be fuckin dead."
Before the line goes as dead as he feels inside.
He really truly was a demon.

Sylvester, for the character ask game?
First Impression: Took me a bit to fall into Sy's groove. At first it seemed like wildbow was going "alright, I've written a conflicted morally grey antihero protagonist, I've written a largely heroic but outwardly monstrous antihero, now I'm gonna write a proper bastard of an antihero." His initial defining traits were "misogynistic", "manipulative", "willing to play the fool" and "desperately desiring to be respected." It was an interesting sketch of a character, but also described the psychological profile of the average adolescent boy on the internet circa 2014, so I wasn't sure how much mileage wildbow would be able to get out of him. But that opinion started to change once Sy's relationship with the rest of the lambs got fleshed out.
Impression Now: I still think Sy might be wildbow's best character, and its entirely because of his relationship with the lambs. Having a manipulative protagonist is interesting, having a manipulative protagonist who is all-too-aware of his tendencies and actively struggles against it when dealing with his loved ones (because when you have a full psychological profile of someone, how can you have any non-manipulative interactions with them?) is enthralling. I talked before about how I expected Sy manipulating Mary onto the team to be a time-bomb. But Sy eventually revealing the truth because he felt guilty, and Mary deciding to stay because she was already too enmeshed with the lambs for leaving to be a plausible option, felt honestly like a much bleaker result. Sy at times feels almost haunted by his own ability to avoid consequences; his relationships with Mary and Lillian especially feel like bones with old breaks that were never properly set. They function, with intense feelings on all parties, but it would probably have been healthier for everyone if there were clean breaks with the chance of reconciliation. But Sy can only be forgiven, and so clean breaks like that are impossible, even when he physically breaks away from the group (or, during the Evette debacle, psychologically breaks away).
Favorite Moment: The whole of 13.11. Even though his mental decline only just started and would get much worse, this still felt like Sy's nadir. He thought he'd found a way to make things work with the Lambs and still be the type of person he is: just be Robin Hood by way of Snidely Whiplash! Be the villain setting up the plot-to-be-foiled-of-the-week, ride by the seat of your pants in setting up zany plots for your friends to navigate. You can steer them towards adversaries so you can have an excuse to fight together, you can kidnap Lillian so you can both continue your relationship while she has plausible deniability! And you get to do it all with your best friend and life partner helping to steer the ship and keep you stable. Finally, you can be as wild and manipulative as you like, you can fight the good fight against the academy, and you can keep your friends while doing it!
But then, just when it seems like things with Lillian are going perfect, like he’d really managed to pull it off—it falls apart. And you see despite how much of a psychological profile he has on Lillian, how much he knows what she wants, he is completely unprepared by how much she hates herself for wanting it. He suddenly comes to terms with the difference between giving people the ability to refuse something and stringing them along with what they can’t deny themselves, and realizes how horribly concieved everything’s been from the start. And he has no way to deal with it, he has to call for Jessie’s help. After so many arcs where Sy’s mad genius and mature bravado are on full display, where it seemed like there was no situation Sy couldn’t get on top of, it suddenly feels like we’ve been watching a kid play with his fathers gun and its just gone off. We’re sorry, we didn’t know what we were doing, we don’t know what to do, oh god, we don’t know what to do.
And then the kick in the teeth with Jessie. The charming back-and-forth we’ve fallen in love with getting recontextualized as a refusal for one party to seriously emotionally engage with the other. Both parties suddenly feeling like the last few months were spent under false pretenses. It all comes crashing down for all the reasons you’d expect, but so late into it that you thought they could get away from the consequences, and now they’d run so far up without it happening that they have an impossible height to plummet from.
Idea for a Story: Let Evette out for a spin! Have Evette take control of Sy again while he and Jessie are handling their army. Let full chaos ensue as Jessie tries to get Sy back in the drivers seat.
Unpopular Opinion: Still unsure on how I feel about where he ended up, but that goes more towards my feelings on the odd place Twig ended as a whole.
Favorite Relationship: Gotta be with Jessie. Deeply touching while also allowed to be a little fucked up.
Favorite Headcanon: Simon still finds ways to “sneak” Lady Helena cakes even when they’re both two of the most powerful people on the planet and can just ask for desserts like normal adults.

Dreamling Week 2023 Thursday 8 - Jealousy / One Night Stand
(EDIT: I make a HUGE mistake when writting this, but I’m going to leave it like that xD)
This wasn't the White Horse, nor the New Inn, but it was an interesting place on its own; ever since their relationship has evolved into a romance, Hob has insisted on taking him "on dates", a proper courtship, even if he had insisted it wasn't necessary.
But he would be lying if he said he didn't like it, even if he wouldn't admit out loud he was a romantic at heart, and he finds it sweet that Hob chooses carefully places that may be interesting for him.
Sometimes though, Dream asks him to take him to places that he had enjoyed in the last years, wanting to experience the same things Hob did in his long absence.
They have talked, about Dream time in Fawney Rig basement, about Hob wild years thinking he have ruined everything between them, so Dream can see what Hob was trying to find in a place like this, and even if a spark of guilt still make his core shrink on itself, Hob insisted that this place had positive memories for him.
"Sometimes you need someone to hear you out, sometimes you need to let everything go, and this place have always been a safe zone to take unsafe decisions" they were at the bar, nursing drinks with lewd names under neon lights, the music loud enough to make everything else disappear, but not enough to not hear each other.
This wasn't the bar to come and pass the time with your friends with beer and greasy food, this one was the kind of place you come to let yourself go for a while, forget the everyday problems and maybe found a dalliance for a night.
“And you come here to drink yourself unconscious because I was an arrogant fool the last time we saw each other” he didn't want to let that out, but it seems that since he began to ‘communicate’ his feelings to Hob he was unable to stop.
“Hey no, we talked about that already, all forgiven, and you weren't responsible for my poor decisions anyways.” Hob takes his hand over the counter and Dream grasps back.
Just as he was about to talk again a voice interrupted them.
“Ronnie? is that you??” A tall pale man clad in black approaches them, a big smile on his black painted lips.
“Oh, hey, it's been a while…” Hob seems unable of hiding his confusion
“You don't remember me right?”
“...no, sorry mate” Hob gives the man an embarrassed smile
“ouch” the man didn't seem upset thought, more amused than anything “Hoped I left a more everlasting impression, you certainly did” a frigid sensation crawled up Dreams back, making him sat straighter, he didn't like the man flirtatious smile “name’s Julian, thought you called me something different that night”
That statement seems to give Hob some clarity, his expression tuning from surprise to realization “Oh! yes! I remember now, it’s really been some time, 5-6 years?”
“Something like 7, damn! you don’t look a year older, you lucky bastard”
“Good genetics lucky me!”
The ugly beast that has taken residency in Dream chest chose that moment to let itself show.
“Excuse us, we were having a conversation.”  The glacial tone makes the sentence impossible to pass as polite.
Hob looks at him amused, which only makes him frown, the man, Julian looks at him with curiosity, before his expression turns to surprise.
“Oh is this…” but Hob interrupts him
“This is Dream, my partner” he looks back at Dream “And this is Julian, we meet here years ago”
“Wait” the man sounded confused “That's his actual name?” as Dream glares at him the man raises his hands in a placating gesture “no offense! I just thought that it was a nickname” Dram looked back at Hob, a raised eyebrow in obvious question.
“I’ll tell you the whole history later love” this placate him, a little.
“Well I’ll let you at it” The man smiles a last time at both of them “It was good seeing you again!”
“I’ll say the same but I don’t want more trouble than the one I’m already in” They both chuckled before the man walked away.
When Hob looks at Dream the dreamlord is glaring at the poor man
“Stop that please” the glare redirects to him “What?”
“You had sex with him” a statement
“Yes, years ago, a one night thing, nothing serious”
“He wished it would been serious”
“As cute as you are being all jealous, yes you are, stop glaring at me it doest work on me, as I said, as cute as you are being right now, it means nothing, I didn't even remember the poor guy name, he doesn’t deserve whatever you are planing”
“I’ll determinate that”
“Dream” Hob put his hand on his check, making him look at his eyes”Didn't you notice?” at Dream confused expression he continues” Tall, thin, pale, all in black? I have to admit he had a wilder hairstyle back then, hair tips in all directions”
As Dream eyes clear in understanding Hob continues
“That night all those years ago, I was drunk and lonely, missing you like a lost limb, I see him in the multitude and decided that pretend was enough, the reason I don't remember his name was because I never said it,  I was physically with him, but my heart was with you, which sounds horrible but he knew what I wanted back then and accept it, honestly I think he was more jealous of you”
“As he should be” Dream said, placing his hand over Hobs
“You are unbelievable ” Hob chuckled again, moving forward to kiss him, Dream met him halfway, reciprocating enthusiastically, hoping the man was still watching, knowing he would never have Hobs heart, as it belongs to him.

Can you do an Mayor x reader, but reader works with someone Elsa but their boss is never grateful on what they do and always yells at them but one day on break, (Y/N) knock on mayor door asking if she could come in as they sit down they just tell him everything about her boss and start to cry as she told him everything. Which Mayor was not happy at all so he give them an cookie and told them go play with the hellhound but as they were doing that her boss might have not walk in to get them but Mayor was not having it
The rest can be up to you.
Y/N took a deep breath outside the office door. She was taking a huge risk running here, her lunch break was only thirty minutes! No. This was something she had to do. Steeling herself, she went to knock on the door.
"Come in, Y/N."
Ignoring the question of how he knew she was there, Y/N cautiously opened the door. The Mayor's office was spartan in decoration, with only a few items here and there on his desk and a few motivational framed pictures on the walls. Pencil, pencil sharpener, computer, jar of sweets, tissue box...her eyes drifted to something unusual curled up beside the desk. "Is that a puppy?"
The Mayor's smile grew. "Yes, and his name is Bingo. Right now he's taking his afternoon nap, but I believe you aren't here to discuss how adorable he is." His expression turned to one of worry (even as the smile still stayed on his face...weird). "What troubles you, Y/N?"
Y/N took a seat, her hands in her lap clasped as she willed them not to shake. When she opened her mouth, the tears began spilling out. The Mayor slid the tissue box over. "Take your time." He said, his voice gentled.
It was the small kindness that broke the dam. Y/N began telling the Mayor about her boss, about the constant barrage of hatred, the screaming, the long hours, the stress of it all, and how she was at the end of her rope. The smile was slowly dropping from the Mayor's face as she went on, but when she stopped his smile was one of fatherly compassion. The Mayor pulled over the sweets jar, reached inside, and handed Y/N a cute little star-shaped cookie. "There now, doesn't it feel better to let it all out?"
"I-I guess so..."
The Mayor looked down at the snoozing pup and gave a small whistle. The pooch lifted its head, and upon seeing Y/N, went over and sniffed at her curiously. "I think Bingo here would like to go for his after-nap walk. I find that dogs are especially good at assisting in the healing of emotional wounds. Why don't you two take a nice, long walk, and when you come back we can discuss better options for you." He reached into a desk drawer and pulled out a dog leash, handing it to Y/N.
"Thank you, Mr. Mayor." She knelt down and clipped on the leash, petting the cute little dog as its tail wagged in excitement. When she left, closing the door behind her, the Mayor leaned back in his chair and pressed a button on his intercom.
"Send him in."
Within a few seconds, a well-dressed man came storming in, eyes alight with fury. Before he could speak, the Mayor gestured him forward. "Have a seat, Mr. Yu. We need to have a little discussion about your treatment of your employees..."
The news would report his disappearance days later, but despite the best police efforts, the man would never be found until weeks later. While ditches and gutters were desperately searched, Y/N found herself with a new job as the Mayor's intern. One day, when the news reported the discovery of Mr. Yu with wounds similar to that of a wild animal attack, Y/N found it curious how the Mayor's smile was as wide as could be with a glint of humor in his eyes.

Willa wasn’t sure what to think.
Wyatt had been deeply invested in the wild stories of their ancestors ever since he was a pup. Willa had listened to him drone on and on about this creature or that story over and over again ever since she was a little wolf herself. He often went out searching for things that the elder’s told him about, kicking up dust and stirring up trouble wherever he went. Saying that young Wyatt was a clawfull would be an understatement.
He grew out of that excitement once he passed into young-wolfhood…or so Willa had thought. Having her now 19-year-old brother arrive in a flurry, claiming to have met the Great Alpha? The most mystical of mystical beings in their known history? Hard to blame her for not believing him.
“It’s just a story, Wyatt,” she told him in annoyance, “besides, we found the Moonstone without the Great Alpha’s help. She never appeared when we were all ready to die…”
“But Willa, it’s her. I just know it.”
“It was probably just a coincidence.”
“It wasn’t. I met her, and she gave me this,” Wyatt held up a cookie, snatching it away as Willa tried to grab it from him, “go find her yourself if you don’t believe me.”
Willa didn’t really want to humor her brother. It was a bad idea to encourage him, as he could become so insistent on things that mattered to him. Wyatt had always been loyal to a fault, not just to the pack, but to his beliefs as well. She couldn’t fault that, nor did she want to smother the blazing fire which had helped keep them strong in the waning years of the Moonstone’s disappearance. And so Willa had gone to find this supposed Great Alpha, just to prove her little brother was once again hooked onto a mythical legend.
She wasn’t expecting to be proven wrong.
It hadn’t taken more than a day to find her. She was hard to miss, what with the pale blonde hair faded into turquoise. And, even at a distance, Willa knew there was something…off…about her. Unlike the human and zombie scents which surrounded her, she smelled distinctly different. Willa wracked her brain, but the scent had no name in her mind, nor any distinctive signature. If she had to guess, or make a comparison to something that she knew existed, this stranger smelled of ash. It was something sulphuric, gritty, and sharp. A slap to the face when it came to werewolf noses, and a scent Willa wouldn’t attach to such a petite little pup.
And she really was just a pup. A tiny, soft, sweet looking girl tucked into the arm of a Zombie three times her size. Willa was expecting someone far more impressive. Tall and muscly, intimidating, ferocious and wild. And yet here was this little one, pale hair pulled back with a bow, smelling of brimstone. That on its own was enough to peak Willa’s interest. She wanted to get closer…wanted to see this supposed Great Alpha prove herself. Yet she was almost never alone.
The girl was seemingly magnetic. If it wasn’t her zombie bodyguard, it was his friends. If it wasn’t them, it was the human girl who smelled of cherries and Vaseline. Willa had even tried to follow her back to where she lived, but found her den on the other side of the z-fence — a place where she avoided going, despite technically being allowed — or traveling in the center of Zombietown where being seen was almost a guarantee. It was a frustrating pattern. How could she ever prove to Wyatt that this pup wasn’t the Great Alpha if she was protected as well as their Moonstone?
For an entire week the stakeout continued, and for an entire week Willa struck out. She was hoping for one last chance before the school week ended, and the weekend began. If that happened, the pup would be lost to her until the following Monday. Willa didn’t want to keep this up, especially since Wyatt (and Wynter) had insisted on accompanying her to the Seabrook football game — her last chance of getting their Great Alpha alone.
“So…what are we doing here again?” Wynter asked as they stood in the shadows behind the bleachers, watching the game from a distance, “I thought you didn’t like football?”
“I don’t,” Willa snarled in irritation, “but she’s here, and this is our last chance.”
“I’m offended by the lengths you’d go just to prove me wrong,” Wyatt complained, leaning against a pylon with ease, “I’m telling you it’s her.”
“And I’m telling you it’s not,” Willa insisted again, “she’s just a pup. She couldn’t lead us, let alone defend us.”
“You just don’t want her to lead us,” Wyatt snarked back, “feeling a bit threatened?“
“No,” Willa snarled, baring her teeth in anger, “I’m the Alpha; it’s my job to protect the pack. And as Alpha it’s also my job to get to the bottom of this nonsense. So shut up.”
Wyatt snorted and shrugged as Willa rolled her eyes, returning her attention to the game. It was between Seabrook and Eastside, two known rivals. The teams were neck and neck on the field, and the Seabrook side of the track glistened with the shimmer of cheerleaders in their gaudy pink and white uniforms. Somewhere in that sea was their Great Alpha — now Willa just needed some way to get her alone.
“Eastside is playing really roughly tonight,” Wynter commented from her place standing atop a trash can, “so aggressive.”
“What about the girl?” Willa asked.
“Waving at Zed,” Wynter replied, “they’re dating, you know.”
“I know,” Willa sighed in exasperation, “when does the quarter end?”
“About ten minutes. We don’t have much — OH! Targeting! Targeting! Foul!”
Wynter began to scream in anger, jumping up and down on the bin as Willa and Wyatt returned their sight to the field. There seemed to be some sort of commotion going on. One of Seabrook’s players was down, writhing in pain and clutching his leg. Eastside was celebrating, bumping chests and clapping hands.
“Uh-oh,” Wyatt drawled, nodding his head towards the end of the field. Willa squinted her eyes, seeing Zed seemingly struggling to get control over himself.
“Doesn’t that watch thing help with those urges?” Willa wondered, blinking as Zed threw off his helmet. His entire body was ridged, and he was walking a bit funny.
“Somebody pull the alarm!” A bystander cried out in panic, “he’s going AWOL!”
“That shouldn’t be happening,” Wyatt insisted, “come on!”
Willa didn’t argue with her brother; she wanted to get closer to what was going on. The three werewolves ran to the side of the track, leaning over the fence as players on both teams scrambled around in panic to put as much distance between them and the zombie. People were screaming, and crying, and a lot of them were swearing.
ROOOOOAWWWR!
Zed’s eyes had gone dark, and his skin was a spiderweb of black veins and dark bruising. Willa wouldn’t admit it out loud, but the sight was terrifying.
“Willa!”
Wynter grabbed hold of her arm, drawing her attention back as the younger wolf threw her arm across the field, “look!”
A single spot of pink and white was sprinting right towards the danger.
“Addison!” Someone screamed from the sidelines, “stop!”
“What is she doing!” Wyatt hissed, “he’ll kill her.”
Willa had to agree. One small pup against a fully out of control Zombie wasn’t a fair fight. After all, zombies were flesh eating creatures. She was snack size.
“I can’t look,” Wynter cried, covering her eyes, “tell me when it’s over!”
Willa turned her head slightly, trying to hear through the chaos what as going on across the field. Zed was marching his way down towards the crowd, groaning and snapping his jaw. The pup — Addison — didn’t stop as she neared him. She didn’t even seem scared. The elder werewolves heart actually leapt as Zed took a swipe at her. His fingernails, now elongated into claws, caught the side of her uniform, revealing the pale skin of a fleshy side. Addison yelped in pain, grasping at the area with both hands as she reeled backwards a bit.
Willa was waiting for her to turn and run away; it was the only sane thing left to do. But she didn’t. Addison released her side, which was now bleeding harshly into her uniform, and ran straight for the zombie again.
“She’s lost her mind!” Wynter yelled, peeking through her shield of fingertips, “shouldn’t we do something?”
Willa thought to agree, but she had been waiting for this moment. She wanted proof that this pup was their Great Alpha, and now was the perfect time. Only a fully fledged werewolf could take down a zombie.
“Zed!” Addison cried, “Zed, you have to stop!”
Zed only jerked closer, groaning at her.
“Enough!” Addison insisted again, hands outstretched, “this isn’t you! Please!”
Zed took another swipe with his hand, and Addison quickly moved out of his reach. Then, in a surge of bravery, the girl reached up and grabbed Zed’s head forcefully in her hands. Willa wasn’t sure why until she felt the pulse in her gut. It felt like a sonic blast had just gone off, roaring across the ground and causing her spine to tingle. Zed, still fully monstered out, stopped in his tracks. His arms fell to his sides, and his body twitches ceased. Addison still held tightly to his skull, thumbs pressed to his temples. She was holding him in place with nothing but her presence,
The pair stayed like that for a long time, staring at one another. Zed moved. There were gasps of fear from the crowd, waiting for the attack. But Zed didn’t lunge for meat, or blood. Even if there was fresh scent right there by his nose, he didn’t attack Addison. Instead, the Zombie fell to his knees at her feet. It was unnerving, seeing him change so quickly from bloodthirsty to pathetic.
“What happened?” Wynter croaked, “what did she do?”
“Beauty has quelled the beast,” Wyatt mused, “told you she was who we’ve been waiting for.”
Willa said nothing. After all, what could she say? A pup had just taken a rampaging zombie down to his knees with no violence, and no pain. At least…not towards him. Addison was still bleeding, and she stepped a few paces back from Zed’s fallen figure.
“I can’t stay here,” Willa heard the girl whisper, lifting her head like a deer in headlights as the z-patrol finally arrived (right after when they were needed most, as per usual). She was off like a shot, scrambling across the turf and vanishing into the night.
“Follow her,” Willa barked, “this is our chance.”
No one argued. After all, a werewolf chase under moonlight wasn’t something to scoff at — flexing their skills on true prey was a rarity in Seabrook. And so the trio split off, one in each direction as they sprinted into the forest after their target. The adrenaline rush was real, and Willa felt her wolf side snarl in anticipation of fresh catch. But she had to squash that part of her down. They weren’t going to be eating anyone tonight; it was only a chase. Inhaling and exhaling sharply, the elder of the three wolves followed the scent of sulphur and blood in a zig-zag pattern. Then, suddenly, the smell shifted and Willa found herself looking up.
“What the…”
Something was darting in and out of the trees above her. It was glowing faintly blue, flashing between the branches before vanishing. It was also fast; far faster than an average human. But not faster then a hunting werewolf, “look up!” Willa called to her pack, “she’s in the trees!”
There were grunts of agreement from either side of her. Wynter was the fastest, and picked up her pace. She was nearly on all fours by the time she actually caught up to their prey, panting for breath. Willa saw something swing down from a low hanging branch, and heard Wynter’s cry of pain as she was struck square in the chest by two strong legs. It sent her careening backwards into the ground, and her body left skid marks where she fell and came to rest.
“Wynter!” Wyatt called, running to help their fallen member as Willa skidded to a stop and looked straight up.
A monster was staring back at her.
It still had the pale hair they were looking for, but her body was glowing with patterns of dots and stripes from under the ratty cheer uniform. The pair of blue eyes peeking from the shadows were intense; there was something in-human about them as the icicle pupils dilated into tiny pin-pricks. A long tail curled around the branch, and she was crouched on the limb, staring down at her.
This couldn’t possibly be the same girl they had begun chasing, could it?
“Willa, look out!”
Wyatt’s call of panic shook her from her thoughts as Addison leapt down at her. Only up close could the wolf see black veins beginning to curl under her pallor skin. Something was really wrong here — she was missing something important. Unfortunately, Willa didn’t have much time to think on it as something strong wrapped around her ankle and pulled, sending her to the ground on her back. Addison leapt over her, running the other way, but was forced to stop as Wyatt blocked her way.
She was surrounded on all three sides. Wynter was standing again, but held the flat of her hand to her chest with a wince.
“Addison,” Wyatt spoke up, drawing the thing’s attention to him, “that is you, isn’t it?”
She was heaving with exhaustion. Her side was bleeding profusely, and her hands were shaking. She was clearly fighting for her life, even though the trio had no plans of taking it.
“…please leave me alone,” the girl shuttered out, shaking her head as she looked between the three of them, “please. I don’t…I’m not here to hurt anyone.”
“Just calm down,” Wyatt insisted, extending the flat of his hand, “we aren’t here to hurt you. We just wanna talk.”
“Can’t…have…have to get away from them,” Addison stuttered, wavering on her feet as she turned to look at them, “Zed…they…will they hurt him?”
“Not if he behaves himself,” Willa told her, looking the girl up and down, “you…are the one who crash landed here, aren’t you?” She realized, eyes widening, “the supposed UFO everyone was talking about?”
“It was…an accident,” Addison cringed, still clutching onto her side. The darkness of her veins was getting worse, “I can’t…” her eyes rolled back. Her light faded as Wyatt surged forward to catch her before she hit the ground.
“Somethings wrong,” Willa said, approaching slowly and kneeling down to look at the scratches. They were deep and painful looking, sliced right through the milky skin like butter. The edges had gone black, and a faint redness had begun spreading across the skin like a rash, “this almost looks like poison.”
“Zombies aren’t poisonous,” Wyatt said, still holding Addison’s head to make sure it was supported as she struggled to breathe, “are they?”
“Maybe not to us, or to humans. But…I don’t think this pup is even from earth.”
“What do we do?” Wynter asked, still rubbing her chest with a hiss, “that hurt.”
“We take her back to the Den,” Willa decided, “the Elders will know how to heal her. We tell no one else about this; just to be safe.”
“What about Zed?” Wyatt puzzled, “he’ll tear this town to the studs looking for her the minute he gets out of containment. She’s his Moonstone.”
“Just Zed, then. No one else knows about what we’ve seen and experienced here tonight. Wolf’s honor.”
“Wolf’s honor.” “Wolf’s honor.” Wynter and Wyatt agreed.
“Good. Now let’s get out of here,” Willa mumbled, frowning, “before something else goes wrong.”

this isnt a question but i came up with a headcanon for how soos ended up with stan in this au. its very long and sad but i like it:
So stan went to school with soos' parents (his parents, not his abuelita) they werent really friends but they didnt hate each other either. stan only started getting closer with them after they left school and they expressed their hatred for the coven system. the three of them did crime and hung out for a while until soos was born, and his parents both joined covens to protect their son. Stan loved baby soos so he understood why they did that, but their friendship just kinda faded away.
then when soos was 6 his parents died in the crossfire of a group of coven scouts trying to apprehend some wild witches (not Stan) and soos moved in with his abuelita, who reached out to stan and asked if he wanted to be part of soos' life. stan said yes, and soon he was seeing soos a few times a week and being a great father figure
when soos was 10 his abuelita got really sick, and he was spending even more time at stans place because he didnt really have anywhere else to go. then when soos was 12 his abuelita died of her sickness, and him and stan found out that she had named stan as an alternative guardian in her will since soos didnt have any other family. soos moved in with stan and joined the bad boy coven, and by the time we see him in the series, he's 17.
the end
(also his parents died on his birthday and thats why he hates his birthday)
I LOVE THIS. IM MAKING IT OFFICIALLY CANON. I DONT THINK IVE EVER SEEN SOMEONE HEADCANON THIS AU BEFORE THATS SO COOL THANK YOU

A walk in the woods
I was 8 years old when we first moved into the house on the edge of the forest. My parents had their doubts about buying a house with a backyard bordered by forest, they had concerns about wild animals getting into our bins or hurting our dogs, and were worried one of us might go too far into the trees and get lost. But it was cheap, my dad liked the seclusion, my mom loved the house itself, and my siblings and I were excited about playing in the backyard and exploring the forest.
Our first sign that something wasn't right was that our dogs were absolutely terrified of the forest. They never went into the forest for any reason. If a toy they'd been playing with found its way past the treeline, they would refuse to retrieve it, and when one of us went in they would pace anxiously until we returned. On occasion we'd notice the dogs staring at a spot in the forest in obvious distress, sometimes growling or barking, but we could never see anything there. My brother once carried one of the dogs into the trees to show her there was nothing scary about it, but she wriggled out of his grip and sprinted into the house in a panic.
If we were in the backyard when it was getting dark, we sometimes heard noises like someone was walking through the forest, sticks crunching underfoot, branches being pushed aside. If we called out there was no response, but if we shined a flashlight around we would occasionally catch a glimpse for just a split second of something that we could swear looked like a person walking around in the dark. My parents quickly banned us from entering the forest at all after dark, and even during the day we weren't allowed to go out of sight of the house.
My sister's bedroom window looked out at the backyard and the forest beyond, and she remembers looking out her window one night and seeing a shadowy figure standing right at the edge of the backyard. She says there was something wrong with it. Like it wasn't quite standing on the ground, and it was a little too tall to be a person, and it was sort of distorted. And she was convinced it was staring at her. She called for our dad, saying there was a man in the yard staring through her window, and when he ran outside to chase off whoever it was, she continued to watch the figure. It didn't move away, but when the light from our dad's flashlight passed over it, it suddenly just wasn't there anymore.
We regularly heard knocking at the back door at night, with no one there. Our parents thought it was teenagers playing pranks, and stopped bothering even opening the door, until one rainy night when the knocking was persistent and agitated. My mom pointed out there might be someone needing shelter from the heavy rain outside, but when she opened the door, not only was there no one there, but there were no wet footprints on the porch. The knocking continued the whole time we lived there, it would happen several times in the span of a few weeks, then stop for months, then start up again. My parents eventually installed a security camera, and there was never anyone at the door.
The camera wasn't all useless though. About three years into living there, my brother started having night terrors and sleepwalking. When he went sleepwalking, he would always go out the back door and start walking towards the forest. My mom, being a light sleeper, would hear the door open, and would run out to get him before he made it into the forest. After the third or fourth time it happened, my brother asked to see the camera footage, because he wanted to see how he looked when sleepwalking, I guess thinking it'd look funny. The footage showed him walking out onto the porch, then pausing as if listening to something, and shaking his head, then reluctantly walking forward as if being pulled or forcefully guided by something.
One evening my dad was in the backyard, and he heard my sister calling him from the forest, seemingly in distress. Thinking she'd gone exploring in the forest and fallen over and hurt herself, he ran in and started calling to her, but quickly realized it was too dark to see her, and he couldn't pinpoint where her voice was coming from. He told her to wait where she was while he grabbed a flashlight. When he ran back into the house for the flashlight, he saw my sister inside, safe and completely unconcerned.
At the time my dad hadn't told us about hearing my sister's voice in the forest, so when I heard my mom's voice coming from the forest months later while I was outside with the dogs one evening, I didn't question it despite the fact I'd seen my mom inside recently and hadn't noticed her walk past me. My mom was calling to me, saying she'd gotten her sweater caught in some branches and needed me to come in and help her. As I walked in, the dogs started barking, alerting my dad, who saw me through the window wandering into the forest. He came outside and called to me, and I said I was just helping mom. He yelled back that mom was inside and I needed to run back to the house as fast as I could, which I did.
After this, my parents had a fence built around the backyard, and started looking for a new place. In the time between the fence being built and us moving out, it got way worse. We'd hear knocking at the door more regularly, as well as tapping on the windows, as if someone was walking the perimeter of the house and trying every window. We would often hear scratching and scraping sounds on the fence, and voices beyond it. My brother's night terrors got more frequent, and one night my mom didn't hear the door open when he went sleepwalking, and he woke up standing at the fence, staring into the forest, with the dogs barking at him. The last morning we spent there, less than four years after we moved in, we woke up to find the back door fully open, and the security camera footage showed it slowly swing open on its own.
Since moving out, my brother's sleepwalking has stopped, though he still gets night terrors and he suffers from pretty severe anxiety. A few nights ago, he called me out of the blue, and after a bit of small talk he asked me if I think the door being opened that final night means whatever was out there finally got in. He was trying to make light of it, saying he was getting into the spirit of Halloween, joking about how maybe we should all get exorcised just in case something latched onto us all those years ago. But I think he's deeply bothered by everything that happened. I know I still am a little, I still get nervous around dark wooded areas. I don't know what I think was out there, in the forest behind our house at night. But I get the feeling that, given the chance, it would have swallowed us whole.

Din seemed to have gone missing in the next few weeks.
He barely stopped by the shop, barely spoke to you, let alone look at you or even touch you. You suspected he was still shaken by the Pyke incident, as were you, but you found that to be a puerile reason for him to keep his distance from you.
Or perhaps he was afraid to hear the decision you’d made regarding travel with him.
You heard the insecurity in his voice after he’d saved you. If you wouldn’t have known any better, you would’ve thought he wanted to retract his invitation right then and there. Truthfully, if he were to do that, you couldn’t blame him, nor could you be upset about it. Losing the person you loved was a terrifying prospect, and if you were to travel with him, you’d be in constant danger. You knew that from way before he even suggested the idea.
The one person who could help you make an informed decision was Peli. She might have had her quirks—which you found endearing as well—but she was wise in her wild ways.
“Hey Peli, I could use some help with something if you’re not—“
She seemed to be soothing something—someone—very small in her arms, talking sweetly to it. You approached her with cautious, yet curious steps, and your eyes widened in shock upon noticing the green child creature she was holding.
“What is that?”
“Apparently this little fella’s name is Grogu. Cruel name to give to such a precious baby if you ask me.”
The child chuckled in your direction. He was undeniably adorable and you instinctively went to him, tickling his ears and earning more giggles from him.
“Oh! So this is Grogu,” you concluded.
Then your eyes noticed the ship right next to Peli, exchanging a concerned look with her.
“Little guy flew in all by himself from Jedi school, can you believe that?” Peli said.
“There’s a droid right there. I doubt they’d let precious cargo such as this one all by himself.”
Grogu cooed again, extending his little arms to you. Surprised, you took him in your arms, having an oddly warm feeling upon holding him. This was the child that Din risked his life and his Creed for, the child that made him feel less lonely and the same child who soothed his heart, providing him with a sense of home. And now, holding him, it felt so important that you couldn’t allow anything to happen to him.
“Does Mando know he’s here?” you asked Peli.
“Nope. Just flew in. My guess is he is looking for his dad.”
“We should tell him.”
“Well aren’t you a little eager to do that?”
Peli glared at you with her hands on her hips and her brows lifted, but you didn’t give in. You didn’t tell her the whole story because you didn’t think it was necessary. When it came to practical matters, she was lightning fast, and you, her practically daughter, were no exception.
“Haven’t seen him much lately,” you felt the need to clarify, “but he should know Grogu is here.”
“Would you like to tell him personally?”
“Why emphasize words that way?”
“Hey, you have your fun, I have mine.”
You scowled, glancing down at Grogu again. Suddenly you felt part of something much bigger than yourself, something you never had before, and it thrilled you more than anything.
Tumblr media
The streets were a jumble of noises, and you hated seeing where they came from. Peli, on the other hand, was confident in her plan to return Grogu to Din, and you weren’t going to dispute with her. There appeared to be a massive disturbance going on, and it didn’t take long to figure out that the Pyke Syndicate was most certainly planning an attack on Boba Fett. Your heart sank to your gut as you realized this.
That meant you were about to see Din, as well as many others, in a less than ideal situation.
As you jumped aboard Peli’s homemade speeder alongside Grogu, cozily snuggled beneath a blanket, you swallowed around the large knot in your throat. Given the circumstances, you believed it would be preferable not to draw attention to a young green child.
“So what’s up with you and Mando? Real talk.”
You huffed. “Peli.”
“What? Some girl talk never hurt! I’m only askin’ cause I see the way you look at him.”
“What way? I—“
You didn’t even have the strength to disagree with Peli. Truth be told, it had become increasingly difficult to ignore Din’s influence on your life since you’ve revealed your love to him – and to yourself. You could no longer ignore the sheer joy of being in his company.
“I’ll tell you something, he better treat you nicely or else he’s gonna hear a handful from this particular mechanic,” Peli added.
As you checked on Grogu to make sure he was safe and sound during the journey, a chuckle escaped your lips.
“Well, I certainly haven’t heard from him in a while, so… I’m not sure where we stand.”
“Alright, let me ask you this. Do you care for him?”
You inhaled deeply, seeking to bring some order to your mind and emotions. There was no doubt about how you felt, but expressing it to someone else, materializing it in that way, made it ten times more real.
“I do,” you finally replied. “I… really do. A whole lot.”
“I figured you do. And I figured he does, too. Who goes to a shop for spare parts and leaves empty handed so many times?”
You laughed. “He’s actually very sweet.”
“Good to know!”
Even though you were walking through mayhem and your anxiety was at an all-time high, you felt happy—for a brief minute. Then you remembered how Din had been avoiding you for weeks, most likely because of unnecessary guilt, and it made your heart hurt.
“There he is! Mando! Hey, Mando!”
His beskar figure was undeniable. Even in a high-risk position like that, you couldn’t help but smile a little. Din was panicked, despite his trusty armor, and his attitude was compounded by the way he dashed over to you and Peli, hopping on the speeder.
“Turn around!” he screamed.
“What?!”
“TURN AROUND!”
When you noticed the big droid behind you, you opened your lips to speak something you’d forgotten about.
“Go faster, you pile of junk!” Peli yelled.
Din placed an arm around your waist and pulled you to him after the droid did a violent right turn that nearly threw you out of the speeder.
“What are you doing here?” he asked. “It’s not safe.”
“Clearly, yeah! But we have something for you.”
“Hey Mando, look who’s here!”
Peli unveiled Grogu behind the blanket, much to Din’s shock. He let go of you and leaned down to take a closer look at the child, and a warm smile graced your lips. You knew he must’ve felt an overwhelming concoction of emotions at that time.
“Hey, what are you doing here?”
Din took the youngster in his arms right away. The scene was as touching as it was unexpected, seeing the formidable Mandalorian soften and nearly shatter as he cradled Grogu in his arms.
“Okay little guy,” he said, tapping Grogu on the back. “I’m happy to see you too. I didn’t know when I’d see you again. It’s okay. Yeah, I missed you too, buddy.”
You smiled as Din put Grogu back on the blanket, his helmet turned slightly towards you.
“But uh, we’re in a bit of a bind here right now. Be careful, you keep your head down. You stay hidden until the fight’s over.”
Then he turned fully to you, struggling to find his words as he brokenly said your name.
“Don’t,” you reassured him. “Not right now.”
“You need to stay hidden too. You need to be safe.”
“I’ll be fine. I know how to fight.”
“Since when?”
“Excuse me, I grew up with Peli. I know some stuff.”
An explosion went off behind you, triggering Din to wrap his arms around you and keeping you close to his body.
“Hey lovebirds, save your tender moment! We got a scorpion droid chasing us!” Peli intervened, pulling out a large blaster.
“Where the hell did that come from?!” you exclaimed.
“I know some stuff too, kiddo. Here, use this.”
You took the hint to start shooting once she handed you a blaster of your own. The scorpion droid’s shots were unrelenting.
“What is he doing here?” Din asked you both, referring to Grogu.
“The Force works in mysterious ways,” Peli replied.
Before the driving droid circuited and turned over, forcing the speeder to overturn, that was the last thing anyone uttered. You, Peli, and Grogu were in mid-air in the blink of an eye, with nothing to grab onto. Din’s instincts kicked in and he leapt forward, seizing Grogu while also reaching out to you.
You landed with Peli in your arms, doing your best to protect her, with Din close by you, blaster in hand, firing at the droid once more. You followed his lead and fired at the scorpion droid, but you were unable to break through the barrier that surrounded it.
“You gotta go!” Din shouted at you. “Go hide somewhere—and take him with you, please!”
“Alright, let’s go,” you helped Peli up and rushed to take Grogu from Din’s arms.
Din lingered with his gaze, his helmet turned solely towards you as he crawled back up on his feet. He faltered, but you nodded at him.
“We’ll be fine, I promise,” you reassured him.
That was the last time you saw him before sheltering in the ruins of the cantina, Grogu clutched tightly in your arms and trying to ignore the blasters, screaming, and everything else. It wasn’t an easy assignment, but at least you weren’t alone with your worries.
Tumblr media
Minutes turned into hours. Even if silence had descended upon Tatooine, you were too scared to learn the outcome of the war. You wouldn’t have chosen to focus on a bleak situation, but your mind couldn’t stop spinning with all types of them. Even though you knew Din was an exceptionally skilled fighter and that he now had a higher drive to win the battle, you couldn’t help but be concerned.
You let go of Grogu at some point, and he wandered off in the center of the street, right in front of a highly hazardous rancor. As you watched the small kid employ some type of magic to put the thing to sleep and thus save Din, you held your breath.
When he caught a glimpse of you, he practically ran towards you, checking you up close for any injuries.
“Are you hurt?” he asked.
“No, I’m okay.”
Still unsure of himself, Din reached for your hand, his gloved fingers intertwined with yours. A shiver traveled down your back. It’s been a while since you felt any affection from his side, and even the slightest touch could be enough to make you melt.
“Are you gonna keep avoiding me?”
“I wasn’t… I’m sorry.”
You took his other hand in yours as you took in a deep breath.
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t trying to do that. I felt so bad after what happened with the Pyke that I… even looking at you made me feel bad.”
You frowned. “You don’t have to take the blame on yourself for that. It was not your fault.”
“He knew you are important to me and that I come see you. If I would’ve been more careful, maybe it wouldn’t have happened.”
Taking a quick glance around to make sure you were alone, you leaned into him with a faint smile.
“Din, it could’ve happened regardless. It was not your fault. This kind of beings don’t care who they hurt. If they can, they’ll do it, you know that.”
“I do.”
His voice seemed grave and almost falling apart, but you persevered.
“I’m glad you’re okay,” you said in the softest voice possible that made Din weak in the knees. “And maybe next time just… talk to me instead of shutting me out.”
Din nodded, ever so stoic and composed, and you suppressed a chuckle.
“And if you want to retract your traveling invitation… I’d understand.”
“Wait a minute! What travel invitation?”
Peli’s booming voice reached both you and Din, but neither of you broke the touch. You opened your mouth to explain, but Din beat you to it.
“I asked her to come with me,” he said. “Wherever I go.”
“You wanna take her with you?”
“Peli—be nice.”
“I’ll be asking the questions for now.”
Peli approached Din with a determined look on her face, hands on her hips with each step she took.
“You know I like you, Mando, but so help me Maker, if you’re just foolin’ around with her and making promises you don’t intend to keep—“
“I’m not. I love her.”
In an instant, Peli’s facial expression changed to that of relief and excitement. She jumped to hug him, much to your and his surprise, but Din welcomed it.
“Oh thank the Force!”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you laughed.
“I’ve been dying to hear you two got together! This one barely tells me anything.”
“I tell you things! I just don’t want to tell you all the intimate details.”
“Count me out for that too,” Din added.
Peli laughed, staring at both of you. “I want you to look out for her, Mando. Keep a very close eye on her. I raised her. I don’t want anything happening to her, I don’t got the spare parts to put her back.”
In true Peli fashion, you felt touched and grateful for her care.
“She hasn’t given me the answer yet, but I will always look after her,” Din said.
“Well? Are you off with him or not?”
“Uh—“
Realizing you had some troubles being put on the spot, Din squeezed your hand and led you out of the cantina and going to pick up a sleeping Grogu back in his arms.
“Aw, you guys look like such a sweet family,” Peli commented. “So? What’s it gonna be, kiddo?”
“I’m gonna talk to Mando first, then I’ll let you know.”
“Cause if you’re worried about the store, I can take good care of it.”
“I know you can. I just… need some time with Mando.”
“Don’t have to tell me about it! I could use some alone time with that adorable mayor’s assistant.”
You made an uncomfortable grimace and chose to walk away with Din instead. You haven’t felt this insecure in ages and it made you slightly concerned about your future with him, even if all you could think about was the rest of that day.
Din must’ve been exhausted; his cape was torn in more places than before, the tunic beneath the beskar was dusty and torn in several places. But as he held Grogu with one arm and had the other around your waist, your body began to burn up. You suddenly found yourself aching, your core nearly throbbing at the fugitive idea of having him so intimately again.
But perhaps the timing wasn’t right, so you shunned the idea out of your head.
“I take it Tatooine is safe once again?” you asked, clearing your throat.
“Boba Fett is the official Daimyo, so it should all be fine now.”
“That’s good.”
Gods, why was small talk so uncomfortable in such highly-tensed situations? Worst of all, why did you even think to do that? You didn’t need to, and certainly not with him.
You failed to realize you have arrived back at your shop which surprisingly was still intact. Aside from the broken front window, everything else was exactly how you left it.
“Is it okay if I put the little guy down for his nap?”
You peeked at Grogu, noticing he was still sleeping soundly. “Of course. I actually have something that might be more comfortable for him.”
Entering the shop, you went behind the counter and pulled out a seat of some sort that had Din in awe.
“Someone brought it in a while ago and left it. You can put him in here and we take him upstairs.”
As Din settled Grogu in the seat, you took a deep breath, absorbing every inch of his silhouette. He was as broad and as strong as you’ve always known him and it aided you no further in the way you were feeling.
If you moved too much, you were afraid he could hear just how slick you’ve gotten down there. You gulped, oddly embarrassed by your own emotions.
In the dim light of the suite, it was difficult to tell anything, much less any reaction of Din’s. So you let him settle Grogu in the living room, and the moment he turned around to face you, you gasped.
“Are you hungry? I could make you something if you—“
“A little thirsty.”
He inched closer to you, his figure appearing broader than before. You gulped again, your lungs nearly collapsing without proper air.
“Din—is there something you want?”
“You.”
“How do you want me?”
He couldn’t voice it. He knew it, deep down and inside his head, he knew the answer, but it felt wrong for him to say it out loud.
He actually forgot how well you’d gotten to know him because in the following moment, you dropped to your knees, eyes set on his helmet.
Heart in his throat, Din gulped seeing you reach for his buckle and then unzipping his pants. His breaths were ragged, chest heaving with each fast breath he took. By the time you pulled him out of his pants, he was achingly hard, and it made you feel incredibly flattered and happy to know you had such an impact on someone.
The moment you wrapped your mouth around his erection was the moment he lost his mind completely. One hand around the base of his cock, the other cupping his balls and your tongue circling the tip, Din was an absolute moaning mess. He threw his head back in sheer ecstasy, his fingers seeking to pull at your hair.
“F-Fuck—good Gods you’re—too good,” Din struggled.
You giggled, the vibrations of your sound nearly tickling him as you kept sucking and stroking him. Pride rose in your chest, thinking of how he was the one who taught you how to do this, how to please him, and how this was only your second time doing it and you were able to withdraw such sounds from him.
Din was almost choking on nothing due to his rapid breaths. Seeing you on your knees before him, pleasing him as if the world was about to end—and for a while, it sure seemed that way—was more than he could handle. He pulled himself out of your mouth, leaving you dumbfounded.
“You didn’t want—?”
“Come here.”
He hastily removed the beskar from his body, bit by bit, followed by his tunic and underwear and finally, his helmet. As he sat down on your bed, he removed your clothes one by one from your quivering body. He always had this effect on you, making you feel like it was the very first time you’ve ever been intimate with someone.
You smiled upon seeing his face at last, his hair messy from the helmet’s removal. His large hands went to your hips and pulled you down on his leg. You gasped out loud at that first contact, your wet cunt slowly dragged on his thigh.
“Din—“
“You’re doing good, keep going.”
He seemed lost in a trance, absolutely mesmerized by the sounds you made, the look in your eyes and the way your body was so warm and soft on his, and how he could never have enough of you.
“Yes, keep going,” he encouraged you.
You moaned brokenly, feeling on the verge of ignition. It was the minimum contact, dragging your almost soaked pussy on his leg as his hands now went to your ass, gently squeezing it, and yet it was extremely irresistible. It felt like each additional wave of your body against his was building to a huge climax that would debilitate you eventually, and Din was more than eager to get that out of you.
The only reason you knew you came was the sore scratch of your throat and the harsh grip you had over Din’s shoulders. His hands worked to move you faster and help you ride out your orgasm and stars, if the sight didn’t get him going good. He leaned in and pressed kisses on your collarbones and chest, then moving back up to kiss you.
His mouth was intoxicating and addictive, a saccharine taste that always lingered on your own lips and mind alike. You cupped his cheeks, pulling him impossibly close to you.
“Don’t ever—disappear like that,” you said in between kisses. “I missed you.”
“You did?”
I always miss you. Even when you’re here. There’s never… enough of you.”
Something about that statement got Din incredibly flustered and eager for more. He flipped you on the bed, positioning himself in between your legs, eyes locked on your disheveled figure.
“Oh—“you said, even if Din hadn’t done anything yet. “We should—be quiet though. Grogu is sleeping – “
“Mhm.”
His tongue dipped right into your cunt, starting with a kiss on your clit, then lapping at your soaked folds, collecting every ounce of your arousal. He licked teasingly, yet expertly at the same time somehow, from the bottom of your cunt all the way to the top, having you basically fall apart in his mouth. You moved your hips forward in an attempt to feel more of him, and Din picked up the cue. The slick sounds emerging from in between your legs were so obscene, you couldn’t get enough of them.
You grabbed a fistful of his hair, caressing his brown locks as he ate you like the finest meal. You bit your lower lip to prevent yourself from screaming because Maker knew you wanted to. He was obscenely good at eating you out and truthfully, if you could’ve stayed like that for all of eternity, you would’ve been at your happiest.
When you pulled him back and stared at him, Din licked his lips.
“You’re so good,” you told him.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. You’re so—fucking good.”
Each time you let out a cuss word, some primal instinct woke in him. He grinned, eyes locked on yours the entire time he resumed his licking, adding a finger to the treatment.
“Shit—shit, Din, I think—“
You did your best to not scream when you came again, eyes squeezed shut at the waves of pleasure that washed over you. It simply felt so intimate and private: his bare face buried into your folds, doing this for the second time in his life, but gaining an unassailable desire for more.
“That’s my girl,” he cooed, rising above to examine your face.
You were still reeling from the orgasm; legs cramping up in the slightest, chest heaving and filled with the warmth of lava fields. But then Din climbed atop of you, his hard cock brushing up against your stomach as he leaned down to kiss you with great hunger. The kiss tasted of you and him, together as you should’ve been, and you shuddered and moaned into your mouth.
He couldn’t hold it in any longer either. He guided his cock to your entrance, slowly pushing past your soaked folds, and gave an experimental hip roll that had you both gasping. It was needy and intense, but not rough. It was… intimate and loving. You felt so full with him sheathed inside of you like that, so safe and cared for that you could’ve cried.
“Maker, what are you—doing to me?” he asked almost breathless and in between thrusts.
“What am I doing to you, Din?”
You involuntarily clenched around him and he made a choked noise.
“I told you I can’t handle that, don’t—“
“But I want you to cum for me.”
“I need to—feel you when I do.”
He picked up the pace, holding onto your hips for support. It wasn’t rough, simply needy. That’s how he liked it: sloppy, needy and loving, all at once.
“Please—please, please—“
“Shhh, I got you. I’m here.”
“Fuck, Din—“
You were on the verge of tears from all the stimulation and you were sure Din could feel it too. He was thrusting as deep as he could, needing to hit that spot that could make the both of you go berserk.
“Can I cum—“he began, losing his thought mid-sentence.
“Yes, please—fuck yes—“
“Say it.”
All you could do was mewl and moan brokenly, the sound of skin slapping against skin turning you into an outright mess.
“Say what?”
“Tell me where—to cum.”
“Inside.”
You didn’t care about anything else other than feeling him spill his seed deep inside you. You didn’t care about anything else except your two sweaty bodies rocking against each other, limbs intertwined, his cock pulsing in you and your lungs almost giving out on you. All you knew was his taste, his scent, his softness, his broadness, everything that constituted the wonder that was Din Djarin. Undeniably yours, and you, undeniably his.
Locks of hair fell down his forehead as he leaned down to kiss you, but he never made it. He felt you clench again and his own orgasm hit. Din buried himself to the hilt, balls deep, as he shot his load in the most intimate way known. Your body trembled underneath his as you took him and his seed, clenching still. That’s when you reached to cup his cheeks and offered him a sloppy kiss.
You weren’t certain how long you stayed that way, with him in between your legs and your warm breaths all over his face as your fingers caressed every inch of skin you could see.
“You haven’t told me what you decided,” Din said after a while.
“You didn’t give me many opportunities to do that.”
He smiled and looked away, feeling guilty for the way he acted lately.
“I’m sorry I acted that way. But seeing you hurt—“
“I know. I—feel the same when it’s about you.”
“So… have you decided?”
You smiled before anything else. Over the past weeks, you’ve given that offer plenty of thought. You took into account everything you possibly could – even Din’s feelings after the unpleasant Pyke encounter and Grogu’s impromptu return in his life. You knew how important the little one was to him, but you also knew that you also had a special place in his life now.
It had been tough, but in the end, you decided you could never be selfish regarding Din, or the love you two carried for each other.
“It’s a scary idea, to suddenly go off planet and see the galaxy,” you began. “And… now that Grogu’s back… he needs his father.”
Din’s heart sunk a little. He finally pulled out of you and you both hissed as he curled next to you and under the blanket.
“He needs you, and I’m thinking you need him as well.”
“I need you too.”
“I know. But you’re already on the run, and you need to keep yourself safe, first and foremost, then Grogu… and if I was there all the time… no one could handle that much worry and not get sick.”
Din cooed your name, half needy and half brokenly, but you placed a hand on his chest.
“I’m not saying no. I’m saying… maybe we could figure out an arrangement that doesn’t have you risking your life for both me and Grogu—and yourself—and one that we can both enjoy.”
“I’d stay here if I could. I swear. But I have to—“
“I know. It’s okay.”
Din pouted, but your smile only grew wider. “How about you come visit me once a month or so?”
“Not enough.”
“Every two weeks?”
He shook his head. “I want you every day, every minute of every hour.”
“Din… the look on your face after you rescued me was something I don’t think I could live with on my conscience. Even if I’d learn how to fight better, you’d still be worried. We both know that. You’ve already got a handful with the kid. I’d be a liability.”
“Don’t say that.”
You huffed, grazing his cheek softly. “I love you and I want to be with you too, but I don’t want to make you incessantly worried. So if it makes you feel better, then… I guess it’s a no.”
“Why would that make me feel better?”
He pouted again and you giggled, pressing a chaste kiss on his lips.
“You are impossible to please,” you laughed.
“You managed amazingly a while ago.”
You let silence in between the two of you. Din caressed your hair, staring at you in awe yet failing to see the admiration in your eyes as you returned his glare.
“You’ll have one less worry on your mind,” you told him. “Now that Boba Fett really has control over Tatooine, things will be uneventful again.”
“So we could… come and visit you?”
“Whenever you want.”
“How about once a week?”
“Sounds good.”
“Every week for at least two days.”
“Sold.”
“And at least once a month I take you somewhere for at least two days.”
“Deal.”
He was the one who kissed you this time, as if sealing the deal, and you smiled, surrendering yourself to everything that man brought to you: fear, pain, excitement and love.
“When do you have to go?” you asked.
“Soon. But… just a few more hours here.”
You nodded in agreement, cuddling at his chest.
“Pretty sure the kid will be bummed to leave you. He seems really comfortable with you.”
“Oh he’s a sweetheart. Just like his dad is.”
Din chuckled, and in that moment, you knew the sound would forever remain imprinted on your brain.
Or at least until your next meeting, that is.

He didn't know what had happened to make them hate him. All he'd been doing was looking for her and asking around the cities and villages. It hadn't been all that bad at first. People had been apprehensive, but answered his questions with the utmost honesty. They hadn't seen a female with the provided description around. They had apologized. They had sent him off into a random direction.
The first and last time he noticed something off was as he tried to enter Mondstadt. Because after those events he didn't know piece anymore.
"Halt!", the guards had called, raising their lances and stopping him from entering. "Who wants to enter the city?"
He'd had a hood hiding his face in low shadows. He didn't know then that this covering had been shielding him from the harsh truth the whole time.
"I'm here to look for someone. I'm hoping the Knights may be willing to help me."
The guards exchanged wary looks. One of them stepped forward. "Take off that hood and let us get a good look at your face, stranger. We have to make sure you aren't a criminal."
"Of course." He pulled off the offending clothes, revealing his face and shaggy hair underneath.
A face that, despite the shadow of a beard growing on it, looked just like their God's. The same shade of hair colour, the same facial features.
Their shock was obvious and alerted other guards patrolling inside the city. They crowded the gate one by one, all falling silent at the sight of his face.
He didn't understand and, frankly, didn't care.
"Can you help me, please?", he tried again, a frown marring his face. "Please, I just-"
"Shut up, you traitor", someone yelled at him.
Something soft collided with his head, bursting upon impact. He absentmindedly swiped a finger through the squishy mass and stared at it. The smell of rotten tomatoes entered his nose and he crinkled it.
"Traitor? I just-"
"That's the imposter! Quick, tie him up before he escapes!", another yell interrupted him.
He didn't have much time to think after that, having to bolt away from the gates and the Knights of Favonius rushing to catch him.
It's how the God Imposter found himself in the forest, jumping over fallen logs and avoiding trees in his ways. Scratches and bruises littered his body from the countless falls he'd taken during his escape. Yet they kept following him, shouting profanities at him for daring to impersonate their God.
He didn't understand.
All he wanted to do was find her, find the other half of his soul. He hadn't even been in this world until a few weeks ago, for God's sake. Why was it then that these people have deemed him a criminal? Who was this God they spoke of?
The first night he awoke to the sight of Dragonspine looming in the background, the God Imposter had thought it was all a dream. He'd skipped around the fields, the usual monsters crowding to him and asking for pets like tamed animals. And he'd indulged, happy to see a softer side to these wild beasts that usually hurt anyone who dared getting too close.
But more time passed, and he never woke up. He'd still be in Teyvat, pyro slimes surrounding him to give him warmth during the cold nights.
He came to understand that this wasn't a dream. He was here, in a real Teyvat, which also meant all its characters must be alive.
And then he felt it. The thread that bound them together and told him that she was here, here, here, and he ran off in search for her. His heart did somersaults in his chest. Soon they'd be together again.
Moreover, this meant that he wasn't alone, stuck in the world of a video game. They would be able to brave its dangers and threats together, learn to fight and survive on their own.
It's what he'd dreamt of.
However noone had any information to give the God Imposter. And once news about him spread, he was run out of every single village he entered. Noone dared to harbor a criminal like him.
He's been running since, with the rare breaks in between, when he managed to slip away from his hunters.
"There you are!"
A spear almost pierced through him, if he hadn't jumped to the side in time. The sudden movement made him lose his footing and he stumbled and fell to the ground in a heap. An arrow pierced his shoulder, tearing into his flesh. He gasped, but didn't dare to waste time by pulling it out. Instead he pushed himself onto his feet and darted off again. Just in time, too, judging by the shouts close behind him.
The God Imposter didn't cry the tears that made his sight hazy. He blinked them away. He wanted to cry, wanted to scream, to fight, to be with her. But he was weak. He was no match for the Vision Bearers and the Archons hunting him, he knew that. A confrontation would mean the end of his life.
An end he didn't want to think of.
He had so many dreams still! Despite the hopelessness of the situation, his wish to see her didn't fade. It even got stronger. If he was to do, he wanted it to be in her arms. Together again.
Oh, but that wouldn't do. He didn't think he'd stand hearing her cries, her gentle voice begging him to stay. He wouldn't be able to bare the tears dropping from her cheeks on his face.
Wasn't it better then to die far away from her, so she didn't have to see?
Another arrow struck true, finding purchase in the back of his left knee.
The God Imposter fell to the ground, a pained groan escaping his bursting lungs. Whoops and cheers were heard from his pursuers, and soon enough he was surrounded.
Black spots dotted his sight. His limps felt heavy, he wasn't able to move. Dazed eyes looked around, taking in the sight of some of his favorite characters and NPCs. All looked at him with varying expressions of disgust and anger.
The Raiden Shogun stepped forward, pointing the tip of her spear at his face. Dirt and blood stood in a stark contrast to the purple blade.
"Imposter. Your time has come." Her voice was deep and hissing. Such a contrast to the Ei he'd gotten to know in her story quest. An Archon, one half of a set, who liked sweets and novels. If he hadn't gotten to know her so well, he'd believed her to be the puppet. But the animated glint in her eyes told him enough.
The God Imposter's voice was low as he spoke. "I...please. All I want is to find her, I-"
"Silence!"
The Geo Archon's voice echoed thrummed through the clearing and he, too, pointed his weapon at him. The earth trembled in response to his anger.
The Anemo Archon had his bow strung, an arrow ready to be let free. "You even dare to speak in a crude mockery of our God's voice. Is it not enough you took her appearance? Do you have to make this any worse than it already is?"
The God Imposter pushed himself up onto his hands, gritting his teeth against the pain. Pain that overwhelmed him, made him lose his senses so he didn't truly understand Venti's words. "I don't understand! This is how I was born, I didn't choose to look like your God, whom I have never even seen!"
The Electro and Geo Archon looked at each other and nodded. Both stabbed their spears into his hands, pinning him to the ground.
He howled, the tears running freely down his cheeks now. The wind in the area swept his hood back, revealing his face and hair to the on-lookers. Their shouts grew in volume, a chant for blood.
"Yes, hurt him!"
"Kill him!"
"Make him pay for what he's done!"
"Torture him!"
"Rip out his eyes!"
"Burn the hair off his scalp!"
Voices blended into one another, becoming a roar, a wave that pulled him under.
The God Imposter let himself go limp, eyes focused on the blood staining his hands.
He wouldn't make it out of this alive, would he?
In those last minutes, he thought back to his old life. The one he'd had before arriving in Teyvat.
It had been a good life.
He'd had caring friends, a loving family. His grades during high school had been acceptable, college was going well. He wanted to be a game developer. Not a big one, just a small one making cheap yet nonetheless beautiful indie games that resonated with the players' hearts.
And she was always by his side, a light guiding him through darker times. The helping, comforting hand when his first girlfriend broke up with him because he didn't satisfy her enough to her liking. The other half of his soul.
As the Archons allowed the crowd to spew out their poisons, one person sat on a tree branch, fingers digging into the bark that chipped off at the pressure he put on it.
Albedo knew that something had been off since the first time talks of an imposter reached him.
Why would one appear now that they had found their true God? It didn't make sense. The God Imposter hadn't even tried to contact any of the acolytes.
They'd just wandered through Teyvat in search for her, whoever that person was.
He knew that his voice wouldn't reach the Vision Bearers and Archons. Not anymore. It was too late, they were too far gone in their rage.
They were too blind to see what lay right in front of their eyes.
The blood that he'd only seen once before, on the day they found their God, who ran the moment she'd been left alone.
The blood that was a universe in itself.
"Stop...stop...!"
As predicted his voice didn't reach the acolytes.
But the God Imposter heard him somehow, and his eyes raised to meet his. All breaths left his body.
Why didn't they see? Why didn't they listen?
He knew the answers. He didn't like them.
Their God was a human now. A weak, fragile human that clung to certain people for comfort. She was human. Gullible.
Easy to control and keep.
The God Imposter's lips moved and he strained to make out the words they formed.
"I just want to see my sister."
Albedo froze in his place, eyes wide like saucers.
No.
No no no no nononono NO!
"Time to end this game. You've wasted enough of our time."
The alchemist's shout went unheard in the cheers of the crowd as Venti's arrow hit the God Imposter's chest, piercing into his heart.
Zhongli ripped it out of his chest to allow the blood to flow free.
And the God Imposter screamed.
Screamed, and screamed, and screamed.
All he'd wanted was to explore this world with his sister. He'd never wanting anything else. He'd never committed the crime they accused him of.
And now he'd die by the hands of his favorite characters, the people that inspired him to never give up, to always fight for his ideals.
He already felt life draining out of him with every drop of his blood that was spilt, now that the Archons let their weapons disappear.
His screams faded to quiet sobs, then to nothing. Empty eyes stared straight ahead at nothing.
The acolytes didn't bother cleaning up their mess. They left the God Imposter's corpse to rot or be eaten by wild animals, eager to be back in their God's presence.
Only Albedo stayed, eyes trained on the starry blood mocking him and the others for their stupidity. For their crime.
He picked up the God Imposter's luke warm body and started to trek to his camp in Dragonspine.
A sense of foreboding filled his heart with dread.
In the Dawn Winery, a certain Human Goddess froze in the middle of walking down the stairs. Lumine, ever so observant, turned around and rushed to steady her as she started to shake.
Her world tilted.
The thread snapped.
Images flashed in front of her eyes, invisible to the Traveller.
An inhuman wail burst forth from her throat, shattering glasses and windows. Maids and butlers had to cover their ears to block out the sound, bleeding out of their ears.
Lumine gritted her teeth through it, her arms wrapped tight around the Human Goddess, who clawed almost desperately at her clothes and skin at the constriction.
The Human Goddess lost touch of reality.
Memories of her other half filled her.
The hunt. The Archons. His favorite characters. The pain.
His wish to see her again. His search.
His last moment.
Another wail made the manor shake. Vases crashed to the ground, debris fell lose.
"No...no...brother...brother!"
Lumine's wide eyes went unnoticed.
"Don't leave me, no, you can't! Don't hurt him, don't do this, please!"
The Human Goddess was forced to watch and feel the death of her brother.
Her twin.
The other half of her soul.
The one who had always been by her side.
She crumbled into a frenzied Lumine's arms.
Sweet Lumine, who knew of the Human Goddess's twin, being her closest confidante due to their similar situations.
Sweet Lumine, who'd heard whispers about an imposter while listening in on the Archons' private meetings.
Sweet Lumine, who slowly understood the full extent of the situation.
The acolytes returned to the manor later that day with big smiles. They couldn't wait to tell their God about the imposter and how well they'd resolved it. After all she didn't have to dirty her own, dainty hands with his blood. They'd only acted in her best interest.
But the Dawn Winery was destroyed and empty of life, black masses spreading out of the earth and consuming anything they touched.
Tumblr media
A guide to the titles in this series:
The Human Goddess
The Female Reader of this story. The acolytes see her as the one true god of Teyvat.
The God Imposter
The Female Reader's male twin. Seen by the acolytes as an imposter.
Their God
Whenever the acolytes think of the Human Goddess as 'their God' or 'his God' or anything similar, they think about the entity behind her, and not her as a person.

i wrote up a whooole feral luffy AU bit on twitter last night so am posting it here too (slightly cleaned up) hahaha
Feral luffy AU where the basis is that Luffy is the one who, somehow, set sail the day the celestial dragons arrived and had his boat shot down.
He's considerably further out to sea when this happens, and when he falls into the water, he's swept away by a strange ocean current. He winds up on a deserted island surrounded by the same strange currents and it keeps him stranded.
Ace and Sabo are devastated by the loss of Luffy, as is Garp, Makino, Dadan and the bandits, and later on Dragon and Shanks when they find out, attempts are made to locate Luffy's body but they never find him, the assumption that he sank too far out into the ocean due to his devil fruit. Ace & Sabo grow up significantly less cheerful without Luffy's presence, but their bond to one another is as strong as ever.
Sabo fakes his death after begging Garp for help, anything to throw off his family from ever finding him again. Garp agrees because his hatred of certain nobility has grown significantly after Luffy's "death", and he can't stand the thought of losing another grandson.
Luffy meanwhile, adapts as best he can. Surviving in this new jungle is painful, but doable despite the constant near brushes with death. The true hardship is how lonely he is without his brothers. Luffy has always thrived in the company of others, and without any he struggles, but again, Luffy adapts.
He manages to befriend some of the animals in the jungle, and accidentally discovers conqueror's haki when he nearly loses his hat to a predator, his one link to something beyond this island.
The animals can't replace his brothers, but they ward off the loneliness. Throughout this time, Luffy makes multiple attempts to sail off the island with handmade rafts. Craftsmanship has never been his strong suit however, so they crumble instantly in the harsh currents.
Perhaps due to luck, the currents always wash him back ashore instead of allowing him to sink and drown. Luffy's speech also slowly degrades over time. As much as he loves talking to his animal friends, the inability to hear someone else speak causes his words to slur and distort
Ace and Sabo still hold true to their promise to set sail at age 17, but decide that they want to sail together instead of separating. When they finally set sail, they decide to take their time getting to the Grandline, exploring more of the East Blue at a leisurely pace.
After roughly a week of sailing, they get caught in a freak storm and are swept away by a giant wave where they too end up caught in the same strange current that stole Luffy all those years ago. The two wind up unconscious on Luffy's island, where Luffy finds them on the beach.
Luffy doesn't recognize them however, only that wow! For the first time since he arrived, there are other humans on the island with him that are alive! It's an exciting occurrence, and Luffy drags their bodies to the jungle where the tide won't reach.
When poking and prodding don't wake the two, Luffy sets off to gather food for his guests. He still remembers how tired and hungry he was when he first washed ashore, and figures they'd feel the same. As Luffy comes back, Ace wakes up in a panic.
Luffy rushes Ace in excitement and babbles. It's nearly incomprehensible to Ace however, especially in his panicked just-woken hazy-brained state. All Ace wants is to know where Sabo is and where this place is, and pushes Luffy away.
That's when Ace notices Sabo is lying just a few feet away asleep. The tension leaves him immediately and he's able to actually pay attention to the stranger trying to talk to him.
Luffy is young and shorter than what he would have been had he been able to grow up on Dawn Island. His hair is long, wild and tangled, and he's dressed in furs and leathers. As Ace is studying him, he asks if he's the one who saved him and Sabo.
For a moment Luffy stares silent, mind untangling the words until they make sense, and then he nods exuberantly. He tries to explain that he found them unconscious on the beach along with their boat, but Ace can barely decipher Luffy's speech. It sounds like someone speaking with a heavy accent at lightning speed.
But it’s then Ace notices the faint scar under Luffy's eye, and the strawhat hanging off his back. That in combination with Luffy's excited movements and speech sets off confusing alarms in his head.
Luffy's dead, Ace knows this, but he forces this strange kid to calm down and asks for his name. Again it takes a moment for Luffy to understand, and he replies. There's that same strange lilt to his words, but it's clear. Monkey D. Luffy! and it's said with a wide, proud grin.
Ace's world tilts then. Luffy? MONKEY D. LUFFY? His brain feels like its shorting out, refusing to register this new bit of information. He thinks he chokes a reply of some kind, but his mind feels blank. Luffy only laughs, not noticing Ace's shock.
In broken speech he asks for Ace's name too, but Ace doesn't hear his question, can only stare at Luffy's face. It can't be Luffy, he thinks. Because if it is... IF IT IS... They're only roughly a week's sail from Dawn Island. Just 7 days.
Is this boy trying to tell Ace that Luffy, in these past 7 years, was only a 7 days boat ride away? And they simply didn't look hard enough? He was here all alone while Ace and Sabo moved on? Ace's heart feels like it's constricting as his vision tunnels in on Luffy.
Luffy's finally noticed that this stranger is looking pale and ill, and pats him in worry. Is he sick? Does he need food? Are you okay, he asks. Ace grabs Luffy's arm then and stares at him with a strange expression. Luffy, it's me, he says, voice shaking. Ace.
Luffy's brows furrow in confusion and he tilts his head. Ace repeats himself, voice growing stronger. I'm Ace! he exclaims, and waits (prays) to see the light of recognition in Luffy's eyes.
Luffy mouths Ace's words silently to himself with frown. Ace? ...ACE! Luffy suddenly leaps towards Ace, landing directly on his chest and crushing him against a tree. He's directly on him and he's got Ace's head clasped roughly between his hands as he stares at his face intently
Ace? Luffy asks out loud, and starts repeating it over and over as he studies Ace's face. Luffy's grip is stronger than expected but Ace manages to give a jerky nod. The piercing stare breaks and Luffy's eyes water. ACE! he cries out in joy and it's the only word he can say.
Luffy wildly paws at Ace's face, then shoulders and arms, as if trying to make sure he's really there, and he's laughing and crying all at once. He then suddenly turns to Sabo on the ground and starts patting his body. He looks up at Ace with a hopeful smile and asks, Sabo?
Ace chokes back a sob because oh. OH. It's really Luffy! He was here this whole time and they never knew! Why hadn't they just looked HARDER? Luffy meanwhile crows in joy and triumph that BOTH his brothers are here with him.
Ace gets down next to Sabo and starts violently shaking him. Wake up WAKE UP, how can he be SLEEPING when the greatest thing they thought they had lost was BACK. Sabo groans awake and is greeted by the pained teary face of Ace and an equally teary, but grinning stranger
the shock of the scene jolts Sabo upright and he asks what's wrong? What happened? Ace just points to the boy beside him. It's Luffy, he says through clenched teeth, as if he were trying his best to stave off a breakdown. Huh? Sabo replies, what about Luffy?
it's LUFFY, Ace grits out again, and this time Luffy chimes in with a cheery, Sabo! and leans in close to his face. Sabo is still confused and Ace nearly snarls in frustration. Luffy's ALIVE, Ace growls, and Luffy laughs. Sabo stares at Luffy and understanding slowly dawns.
Luffy? he asks in disbelief, and Luffy nods excitedly before crowding in Sabo's face even more. Sabo! Luffy says with a smile and starts repeating his name like he had done with Ace earlier. Sabo, Luffy's been here this whole time, Ace says in a pained whisper.
This whole time? And the same realization that Ace had grows in Sabo. Luffy, you've been here, all alone...? And we were so close? Sabo's body moves and wraps Luffy's body in a bone crushing hug. Luffy, I- we didn't know! Sabo stammers but it sounds like a terrible excuse.
Guilt is devouring both Ace and Sabo but Luffy is only smiling. He's overjoyed that his brothers are here, and with their help he can definitely get off this island now! Things do work out!
We have to go back to Dawn Island, Sabo says suddenly. We need to take Luffy home and we- we gotta tell Gramps! And Dadan and Makino! Luffy's okay! He's okay! And it's like a dam breaks and Sabo is the first one to break down into a full-body sob.
Luffy gives a cry of dismay and does his best to comfort Sabo. Ace gives in and wraps both Luffy and Sabo in a hug. Both older brothers are whispering apologies to Luffy responds with just wrapping his arms several times around them both in one of his infamous rubbery hugs.
like luffy had tried to explain earlier, the brothers' ship is beached on the coast and, surprisingly, only suffering a few minor scuffs. their departure is fairly swift, only waiting for the ideal weather after gathering some supplies and luffy's scant belongings
Perhaps one or two of Luffy's animal friends joins them, but regardless, with the help of a 3 man crew, a sturdy ship, and an actual navigator, Luffy finally escapes the island, and the 3 brothers head home.
Now all Ace and Sabo have to worry about is helping Luffy readjust to human civilization........

stupid/annoying, but endearing, things they do in a relationship eren, armin, jean, connie, erwin, levi, reiner, bertholdt, porco, zeke, colt, hanji, mikasa, sasha, annie, pieck
Tumblr media
word count: 2.3k
warnings: one mention of sex in erens, reader uses makeup in jeans, mentions of injuries and dilf!reiner in reiners
notes: this is a gn!reader. there are mentions of makeup being used, but i feel like any gender can use makeup. it's not even anything serious like a beat face. just some lip gloss n mascara. chapstick too but thats not makeup. it's just one line, so you can skip over it if you would like to!
Tumblr media
✩ eren bites you. its not even in a sexual way, he just likes to bite. they’re like a second form of kissing to him. you could be chilling together on the couch watching a movie, and he’ll just chomp on your shoulder. even when you were trying to focus on something, he swings by, bites then leaves. eren has no shame, so he does it in front of your friends too. you could be having a normal conversation with mikasa and he’ll just bite you, then the two of you carry on as if it was normal. it’s not normal. but you love it. sometimes you bite him back too. but only in private.
✩ armin gives you random things he finds. armin likes to go out and explore, with or without you. when he comes back after an adventure you opted out of, he always has something for you he found. a rock, a seashell or a cool flower are just some of the things he gets for you. if he can’t find something, he finds a gift shop to get you something instead, saying, “well, (y/n), i did find it in the gift shop.” he always looks so proud giving it to you, rambling about the story of how he found your gift. you have a small box tucked away with all the treasures he gives you.
✩ jean steals your things. whenever he comes over, he likes to mooch off your possessions. if he’s spending the night at your place and needs a shower, he’s using your shampoo, conditioner and body wash. if his lips are chapped, he swipes your lip balm to use on himself. one time you even walked in on him trying your mascara and lip gloss. another time he had your clothes on his giant frame. but he always replaces whatever he uses, venmoing you within the next few days with some cash and a sorry note. “sorry for using ur lip balm baby, buy some more <3” with $20 attached to it. you tell him that lip balm doesn’t even cost that much, but he tells you to treat yourself to lunch with the extra money.
✩ connie makes plans without letting you know beforehand. at 3am, you are woken up by an influx of messages and calls from your boyfriend. in your sleepy state you go to answer him, only to be told to get dressed and come out. he’s right outside of your house and hungry. you remind him it’s very early in the morning and you both have class. “but i’m hungry and craving burgers,” he repeats. you have no choice to get in the car with him. this can happen throughout the day, not just early in the morning. one time he whisked you away in the middle of your online class because he didn’t tell you he bought tickets to a movie showing in 30 minutes. the memories you share on these spontaneous dates are always your favorite ones with him.
✩ erwin buys you whatever you like in bulk. it’s not even an exaggeration when you say bulk. you mention one thing to him, and the next day there are boxes upon boxes sitting on your kitchen counter. “these oranges taste pretty good,” you mumble to yourself as you peel your 2nd one. erwins sharp ears hear this, and first thing in the morning he’s off to buy multiple bags of your supposed favorite oranges. it takes you days, sometimes weeks, to finish whatever he decided to buy you. you always tell him he doesn’t need to buy so much, but he never listens. though, you always appreciate how attentive he is to your likes and dislikes.
✩ levi cleans up for you and ruins your organization. it’s always a blessing when someone else decides to take on the burden of cleaning for you, and you thought you hit the jackpot with a boyfriend who loved to clean, clean, clean. but it could get annoying when you suddenly couldn’t find anything you placed anywhere. if you’re anything like me, you’re messy but organized. you know where things are. when levi comes to clean, he places things where he thinks they should go. you’re sent on a wild goose chase looking for your pencil case, only for it to be in a completely different drawer than the one you usually kept it in. despite this behavior, it’s always nice to come home from a long day from school to see your desk organized. what was once a mess of papers and other supplies have been filed into their correct places, the table wiped down from any lingering coffee stains and your supplies being organized in a way so you knew where everything was. sometimes there’d be a plate of fruit with the note, “good luck on your exams,” written in your boyfriends neat writing beside it.
✩ reiner coddles you too much. whenever you express any sort of discomfort, reiner is always rushing to your side. “are you hurt? do you need medical attention? how many fingers am i holding up?” he asks, checking you for any cuts or bruises. thank you, honey, but i’m fine. just bumped into the counter. despite that, he’s dragging you over to the bathroom to fix up your imaginary injuries. you always find it a bit much when you’re fine. it’s during the times where you’re actually hurt where you learn to appreciate it. he’s so gentle cleaning your cuts, kissing them softly once they’re dressed. you wonder if he’d be like that with your future children.
✩ bertholdt is too nervous around you. it’s been years since the two of you got together, and he still refuses to make eye contact with you. his hands get sweaty and shake when you attempt to hold his hand. he always stumbles over his words when speaking to you as he tries to find the right words to say. he even blushes when he introduces you to other people as his significant other! you remind bertholdt over and over again that he doesn’t need to be so shy around you. but you cant help but coo over him showing up for your date, flustered mess and thrusting flowers into your hand. “they reminded me of you,” he said quietly, refusing to meet your eyes. you giggle and press a kiss to his hot cheeks.
✩ porco is too cocky for his own good. he’s always parading around the house, boasting about his latest achievements. he beat colt in a video game colt was a supposed god in. he can throw a baseball farther than zeke. he can run faster than pieck. if he’s taller than you, he's always making fun of you for being shorter than him. if you’re taller, you’re not exempt from his wrath either. he’s boasting about how he’s perfect height to not hit his head on doorways. he never goes as far as to hurt your feelings, always knowing when to stop. though he has a big ego, he would let it crash and burn just to see you smile after beating him at smash bros. you laugh and taunt him, happy you beat him in one thing. he doesn’t mind, instead watching you with a soft smile on his lips and love in his eyes.
✩ zeke forces you to work out with him. and it’s not like in the afternoon to help you stretch out. it’s not light yoga or a couple minutes on the treadmill. no, this man wakes you up at ass crack in the morning to take you on a 5 mile hiking trip. you barely have any time to register what is happening around you before you’re already standing at the start of the trail with your gear. “come on! we can’t slack off!” he says, clapping his hands together. the sun is beating down on you and your feet hurt, but this man doesn’t let you stop for a break. “we’re almost there,” he says. your complaining goes out the window when he shows you the view at the top. its one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen. hiking up long ass trails to see beautiful views with your boyfriend was so worth it in the end.
✩ colt accidentally turns your dates into babysitting sessions. you show up at his house with the promise of a good time, only to be met with a guilty looking colt and his little brother falco behind him. “sorry,” he says sheepishly, “gabi got sick with the cold, so i couldn’t drop him off there. i hope you don’t mind him staying.” you hide your disappointment behind a wide smile, nodding enthusiastically as to not hurt either of their feelings. you just wanted to spend some alone time with your boyfriend, and it would have to wait. hanging out with falco wasn’t actually that bad. the three of you had an amazing time together, watching tv, playing games and even baking together. if you hate kids, you can’t bring yourself to hate falco; he’s just the sweetest boy you’ve ever met. you and falco are already asking colt when the three of you can hang out again when you have to go back home.
✩ hanji is always talking. you don’t discourage them from talking about their interests. they’re very passionate about the things they love, and can’t help talking about them. its like the scene where hanji kept eren up all night talking about titans. when you’re trying to focus on something or go to sleep, hanji is just yapping away. you’re honestly amazed at their ability to never run out of things to say about the most mundane things. hell, one time they talked for an hour and a half about a building color they saw when they were out one day. but hanji just looked so happy when talking. their face would break out into a huge grin, and their arms would fly around as they told their story. it was too cute for you to tell them to stop.
✩ mikasa hovers too much. every corner you turn, every place you go to, mikasa is following. she claims she’s not clingy, but in reality she is. it’s like a cat who hates affection, but needs to be in the same room as you at all times. you don’t mind her following you into the bedroom or living room or kitchen. you had to draw a line when she tried to follow you into the bathroom. even when you’re out, she’s always following you around. you tell her it’s okay to break off from you and spend some time by herself, but she always shakes her head and follows you to your next destination. you’re always grateful for her hovering when a group of drunk people try hitting on you, whistling and telling you they’ll give you a good time. but one look at your girlfriend who showed up from out of nowhere, and they’re running away with their tails between their legs.
✩ sasha eats your food. she can’t help it. she likes to snack. she’s always hungry. and you get that. to stop things like this from happening, you have separate places to keep your food. just so sasha and you have your favorite snacks and takeout separated. you respect the rule, but your girlfriend seems to lose her reading skills when hungry, one too many times you have walked in on her with her hand deep into a bag of your chips, something you’ve been waiting to eat all week when you were supposed to watch that new horror movie on netflix with her. you huff and puff and retreat to your bedroom. sasha comes back after a few hours, looking upset with tons and tons of snacks in her arms. “i’m sorry i ate your chips,” she frowns. she sets down all the food she got on your bed. “i got all these snacks you liked as an apology. and 3 bags of your favorite chips.” you could never stay mad at her cute face.
✩ annie complains about spending time with you. “i like my alone time,” she says, brushing you off when you asked why she didn’t want to watch a movie with you. some people were introverted, preferring to spend time by themselves rather than with someone else. you were like that too; you had your moments where you didn’t feel like being around your girlfriend. but it became an annoying problem when she constantly shot down your attempts to hang out with you. when she finally agrees, she’s always finding something to complain about. but during important dates or when you’re not in the best mood, she’s always the first to remind you or initiate a hang out/date. she shuts her mouth and enjoys her time with you, not one criticism or groan leaving her lips. she would never admit it, but being around you made her so happy.
✩ pieck is always sleeping. you have to wait a few hours to get a text or call back from pieck because she’s always dozing off somewhere. “sorry sweets,” she yawns into the mic, “was taking a nap. need something?” good luck trying to reach your girlfriend during an emergency. when you come home with takeout for dinner because neither of you wanted to cook, she’s sleeping at the dinner table. when you’re watching a movie she wanted to watch, she’s snoring away, curled up at the end of the couch. during lectures you share together, she has her head in her arms and has the audacity to ask you for your notes in the end. and it’s not like she’s not getting enough sleep, no. she gets her recommended 8 hours of sleep and then some. it’s nice to have a sleepy girlfriend, though, when you’re dead tired from living. you drag your feet into the bedroom to see her about to take her nth nap for the day. she notices your zombie-like state and opens up her arms for you. the two of you cuddle and nap together, sleeping the stress away.

Would you consider doing a part 2 for My best friend and I?
Of course - I was thinking of doing a part 3 as well, let me know if you would like me to turn this into a mini series
My best friend and I ....
Lando Norris x Reader
Tumblr media
Part one
Word count: 1.6 k
Rating: angst
Requests are open :)
Part two:
It shouldn’t have hurt you. Not at all. Lando was your best friend and the feelings you felt towards each other had remained platonic. Just like it had been for years.
You stared down at the photo in front of you - your lip caught in between your teeth and a line creasing the skin between your brows. A thought in the back of your mind raised its voice - what if it was you in those photos?
Slamming your phone onto the kitchen counter, you exhaled violently and looked around your surroundings. It was his house. You were in his kitchen. Just like you had been many a time before so why was it suddenly so different?
You were house sitting for Lando whilst he was away on his summer break. Once again - this wasn’t usually a problem but it had given you time to think. A lot of time to think, in fact. To be at one with your thoughts, except you didn’t want to be ‘at one with your thoughts’ because your thoughts had led you down a dangerous rabbit hole of feelings and despair.
He had been gone a week - a whole week apart. It was something you had never done before, which seemed odd due to his job but before last week you had always travelled together. Wherever he went, you went. Likewise, wherever you went he went.
As his PR officer it was your job to travel the world with him but that's besides the point. Even before that as childhood best friends - the bond you formed meant that the longest time you would spend away from each other was when your parents dragged you away on a weekend trip to the seaside. A weekend of torture. A weekend without Lando.
Standing up, you moved in the direction of the front door - grabbing the keys and locking the door behind you. You needed to clear your head - you needed a distraction.
Shoving your hands into your pockets, you started down the street; thinking back to the night before when you logged into his twitch account - he had joined, at first you thought he was going to be mad but instead Lando had typed into chat how much he missed you. Lando missed you and that was enough to make your heart skip a beat.
Lando stared at Max’s phone, the photo glaring menacingly back up at him. He looked away as though the image pained him, scrunching up his nose and pushed the phone back to its owner. Max watched him warily, “It’s over every platform.” He added softly, placing his phone into his pocket.
“Right, thanks mate.” Lando mumbled, pulling his own phone out. He knew he had to call you, as his PR it was your job to instruct him on what he should do next. Had you seen the photo? Lando shook his head, you would have called him, the curiosity would have gotten the better of you. His finger hovered over your contact, he thought about what your reaction would be; what did he want your reaction to be? It was a valid question. He knew that there was no reason for you to be angry; at the end of the day he was on holiday and on holiday you have fun. What if you were jealous? Jealous of the girl in the photo. Lando’s arms snaked around the girl's waist, lips tantalisingly close to the girl’s ear. The corners of his mouth turned up at the thought.
The image of you had plagued him everytime he found himself alone. His thoughts running wild without you by his side, whilst you still messaged he still felt as though he was being starved from your company. It didn’t matter how many women he spoke to, they always seemed to be missing something. Part of him never wanted to get over you - part of him hoped that one day you realised that he did still love you, that it had never gone away. No matter how hard he tried. Part of him hoped that you were in love with him too.
The walk had failed to clear your thoughts. Everything led back to him. That infectious laugh. Those stupid curls. The way he looked at you. Every moment replaying in your mind on repeat. You were sure he would never feel the same way, especially after you rejected him all of those years ago. You sighed, the picture of the couple flashing in your mind.
As his PR officer you really should call him to help him manage the sudden attention. You clicked on his name, holding the phone to your ear. It rang once and he picked up.
“Hey.” Lando answered breathlessly. There was a pause before you answered, swallowing thickly you opened your mouth before closing it quickly.
“I take it, you've seen the photo.” You replied bluntly, there was no reason to sugar coat the reason for your call.
“I was actually just about to call you.” He said honestly, you could hear the sound of people talking getting quieter in the background. He was moving to somewhere more private. Away from prying eyes or ears in this case. “What should -”
You cut him off, standing up from the sofa and walking to stare out of the window. “Is this a serious relationship or -”
“No.” His voice was harsh, cold even.
“I had to ask - you know I did.” A loud silence filled your ears as you waited for him to respond - pressing your lips together as you did so.
“You would be the first person to find out if there was someone, you know that.” His tone was soft, so soft it was almost a whisper. A whisper that urged you to be close to him.
“You don’t owe anyone an explanation - regardless of whether it’s a serious relationship or not. We both know how toxic some fans can be, does the girl know?” You knew that Lando was shaking his head. “Make sure the girl knows what may be coming her way. Carry on as normal and I know it’s hard but ignore it - don’t give it any attention because it will only add fuel to the unfortunate fire.”
Lando hung onto every word you said - how could he tell you that the only reason he kissed that girl was because he wanted to be closer to you. Your voice filled his ears once again, “Are you okay, Lando?” His thoughts were a tangled spiderweb, slowly entwining until he was struggling to think straight.
“I - uh.” He stuttered, rubbing a hand over his forehead. He was faced with a crossroad - he could tell you, there and then about how he really felt; explain the real reason to why he was caught on camera with the girl. He could tell you that he never stopped loving you. Not for one day. Lando could confess to his feelings. Or he could stay silent. Continue to lie and cover his feelings. He could argue that this way he was protecting your friendship. “Actually, there is something that we should talk about.”
A breath caught in your throat, you prayed Lando couldn’t hear it over the line. All of a sudden you could hear a second voice from the otherside of the phone. “Lando, are you on the phone to who I think you are on the phone to?” The expression was light but mocking and you recognised it almost immediately. Max Fewtrell, Lando’s second partner in crime. “Hang on,” He said to you, “I’m going to put you on speaker phone.”
“Hey Max,” You called out, relieved for the change in topic.
“I thought it was you our little gremlin had snuck off to speak to.” Max added, his voice becoming more audible. You and Max had always gotten on well, right from the moment Lando had introduced you. “Has he confessed his undying love for you yet?” He joked, a hint of truth laced in his tone. It had the effect of poison, the atmosphere immediately changing. You stiffened, jaw tightening as you waited for Lando to answer him.
“Come off it, we’re too close for any of that emotion sort of thing-”
The words were out of his mouth before he could stop himself, the regret was instantaneous. It was a lie. In fact it was the biggest lie he had told. Ever. Lando looked over to Max, his eyebrow raised and the corner of his lips turned up in a smirk. Lando pinched the bridge of his nose with his forefinger and thumb, his mouth set in a hard line.
“Right, way too close.” He heard you squeak in a way he had never heard you speak before. You sounded tired all of a sudden, almost downhearted.
“Wait-” He began to say, eyes snapping open. He was going to take it back. Confess to everything.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got to go. Remember what I said. I’ll see you when you get back.” Your words were rushed, throat slowly constricting. You squeezed your eyes shut, fighting back the tears that threatened to fall and ended the call abruptly.
You sank back down onto the sofa and groaned. You were in love with your best friend but he didn’t love you back.
