Sharing the sharingan:
Itachi being like “huh, what? You just told me to kill all the Uchiha’s Mr.Danzo. And this piece of paper clearly says that man is NOT an Uchiha. You’d think the shadow hokage would know how to fucking read.”
What to do when your teammate uses you to commit suicide (a self help guide for the lost, confused, and used)
the book is blank because hey it’s a first for me too kid.
An Uchiha who turns to love rather than hate.
Them taking care of Sakumo’s body and cleaning the blood off kakashi :’(
ACE/ARO REP BITCHESSSSS
Kakshi double fisting a weirdly accurate self help book and pure smut while white knuckling his mental health.
Two bros chilling in a one room apartment with a hoard of semi-adopted kids co-writing porn for their little brother’s mental health because they’re not gay
ADHD Hyuga 0-0
Naruto buying Kabuto and scaring him with his teeth cuz he won’t go to any other healer but the Uchiha
“Destroy eyes” pact now including one traumatized dog man
May the lord have mercy on your insignificant soul because I swear to god if I ever see your bitch ass again I will not.
Gordon Uchiha
As much as it hurts to see the light come for his pups he’s so fucking glad they get to live another day, get to break the cycle of the Hatakes (because they are all Hatakes no matter what clans two of them were born into) dying young.
*sniffle*^^^^^
Big Lap Dog problem where the pups grew bigger and Sakumo did not as he is dead, so where two scrawny teenagers and an actual toddler never knocked Sakumo over three ANBU who have long since grown out of the gangliness of youth and have spent years packing on muscle through training very much do.
But you are incredibly correct imagining them as different heights is somehow deeply upsetting and they have to be the exact same height for Reasons
The three friend killers. With phantom blood of enemies and once allies forever staining their hands. The three remaining sharingan users. All of them with a flee on sight status in most bingo books. All of them cuddling in the nearly empty lounge.
The Uchiha: oh yeah…sorry I called you a bitch. The Hyuga: it’s fine. I am a bitch.
So when she knows she can't escape (She was never going to beat them, they have always been better than her no matter how hard she tried) she decides to just.... let their jutsu hit her. To die by her brothers hands is probably the best end she could hope for.
She stands back from the fire at first when the boys finally meet them (too soon. Far too soon) but kakashi spots her in the dark just like he always had. And what chance did she have not to be buried under the weight of her brothers (what were they all eating that they had gotten so damn tall.
one soul in two bodies, the closest someone could be to another person without cracking their chest open to crawl inside (she wondered one day if one of them would. Would take that final step to rejoin their hearts until they were one whole being again.) they had taken different approaches to the hatred
Seeing two Byakugan split between two faces. Knowing that the eyes once called the true heart of a dojutsu user were swapped between the two in actuality.
Sasuke constantly stuck in a game of catch-up he never seems to win. Chasing after distant goals and figures he can barely see, let alone match.
The third teammate in sharing the Sharingan: “But she’s still the outsider, she doesn’t share their strange pack mentality…”. Me: it’s the neurodivergence babe.

It’s very kind of people I speak other languages with to assume that my slow comprehension and endless requests for repetition are as a result of us not speaking my first language, when in reality, my auditory processing is just complete shit.

"Lack of personality" in autism (spoiler: it's the masking)
[Large text: "Lack of personality" in autism (spoiler: it's the masking)]
I was scrolling through # autism questions and noticed a bunch of people asking stuff related to not being able to figure out their personality so I thought I'd share something I've realized some time ago.
My entire life, I always had this idea that my personality was just "too broad" to be normal, as in, I acted in completely different ways in different situations and with different people.
Of course, everyone tends to change their behavior a little when dealing with different people (you're not the same with your friends vs with your teachers or boss), but there's limits.
Being aware of this, one of the first conditions I looked into once I decided to start doing research on neurodivergence was DID — and, eventually, OSDD — but I quickly understood that wasn’t it.
(It was great doing that research though, because the idea media gave me (and most people) on """split personality""" has nothing to do with what DID and OSDD are. And they're very interesting conditions, so more knowledge for me!)
But if it wasn't an identity thing, then what was it?
It was masking.
Four years into research, one year as a self-diagnosed autistic, I realized the thing that made my personality so "broad" was just masking. And a year after that, I'm still certain that's the answer.
Because, my entire life, I've been changing myself to fit in with others, especially with neurotypicals.
While masking, you don't just "tone down" the very clear traits of your autism (or any other condition, by all means), you also copy other people's behaviors and personalities (usually subconsciously) so you don't seem like the "weird one".
I've been like a bloody mirror my whole life, and that's likely what others are struggling with when trying to figure out their personalities as well.
Hope this helped someone.

a (not)short list of unpopular polin opinions
+Colin saying that he 'found/met himself' on his travels is GOOD, actually, and Penelope should be overjoyed that her friend put that kind of work into himself. she should be happy the letters between them were genuine connection instead of him using her as 'free therapy' as some people like to state
+Colin is not using Penelope as free therapy, ffs
+Colin's line about not courting Penelope couldn't have possibly 'ruined her prospects' because she already had 0 prospects
+Colin caring about Marina even after everything went down is proof he has a good heart and nature and would make an excellent partner. (do i think he should have visited her still? no, i think she deserves her privacy, but Colin didn't do anything wrong in the S1 situation and him coming to check on her, being nice to her husband and her children, and feeling concern about her happiness is HEAPS better than how other men in this series have treated their previous romantic partners)
+Penelope being upset he isn't interested in her is 100000% valid. Cutting him out of her life for it however is toxic as hell (and celebrating her 'ghosting' him is very telling)
+Penelope was SUPER out of line multiple times w/ Colin, in particular when he's clearly heartbroken. Nearly confessing her crush on him in S1 was bad and selfish (his engagement JUST blew up very publicly by her hand) and when he comes back from traveling (aka: trying to heal after said blow up) asking about women he met is very tone deaf. reminding him she herself is a woman is ALSO very tone deaf
+Penelope has been and continues to be a bad friend to him, partly by her own admission when he complimented her on being a loyal person and she said she didn't deserve that (good news: this means she can have a character arc becoming a better one!)
+Calling Colin 'stupid' or an 'idiot' simply because he doesn't realize Penelope has a crush on him or for verbalizing things poorly is ableist and it needs to stop being so normalized in this fandom

Not wanting to derail posts, but I thought I'd write my own about my experiences as a both mentally and physically disabled person.
Yes, my neurodivergence and chronic illnesses coexist and aren't comparable when it comes to their impacts on my life. No, they're not all the same either.
I can remove myself from an overwhelming, triggering, sensory overloading situation. I can use measures to protect myself (noise canceling headphones, sunglasses, stimming, comfort items). I can unmask and fuck what other people think. I can choose to not be there even.
But I've taken my mobility aids to public places and people working there have tried to prevent me from entering with them. Have tried to take my mobility aids from me. Have tried to make me leave my mobility aids at the door. I can't even take the subway in some cities because I can't get through the too narrow ticket scan isles with my rollator. I've fallen on gods know how many stairs and tripped over gods know how many things on the ground. I've had to make do with a cane or forearm crutches how many times because it just wasn't possible to have my rollator with me, and ended up in severe pain and fatigue or getting hurt.
Yeah, my autism and mental illnesses suck balls and there are days when they're more unbearable than others. However, they don't make me fear for my life that's for damn sure.

Getting my butt back into into $kripper condition 🫧
I recently discovered that I am nowhere near as flexible as I used to be. I know I should have expected it because I have not been practicing at all… I still got kind of sad when I realized that I hadn’t been doing something that I found so much joy in. I decided that I was going to start back. I will admit these last few days I feel like incorporating yoga and stretching for mobility/ flexibility into my morning routine has generally made me feel better. Now the hurdle is being consistent. I believe the best way to hold me accountable for making sure that I am continuing this journey is to document it!
So far I’ve been using a few creators on Instagram to begin my journey into yoga 🧘🏾‍♀️
Payalagarwalmukherjee | literally my favorite
Tiffanycroww | “Accessible yoga for beautiful bellies”
Dorianeleibel | Really great inclusive alternatives for beginners
This month im going to be looking into finding some free YouTube videos too. It feels really nice to have a hobby. Hopefully I will have others to share it with once and a while. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾If you are someone interested in seeing my journey or joining in pls feel free to follow me 🫶🏾☀️
So cheers to my first post !

falling in love with ships that are popular with mostly antis is the worst thing in the world yall like half the time me and the other shippers have each other blocked and the rest of the time it feels like i only see the most milquetoast posts about my otps
like cielinny's the biggest one, cuz yeah theyre teenagers and its fun to see them acting like it BUT ALSO they are two morally grey characters who have both murdered and been traumatized as children and one of whom views the other as his savior and both of whom work to protect the other physically and/or mentally and so many people ignore or forget that smh
like,,, yes yes i also love them making sebastians life a living hell with dumb teen antics more of that sure, but i would love to talk about finny ripping someones arm off for daring to hurt ciel while theyre undercover and ciel being the only one to calm him down by taking his hand and kissing his bloody fingers which he does without hesitation because seeing someone who does not (by demon contract terms) have to kill for him just do so with no hesitation or remorse makes ciels little gay heart swoon, can we talk about that guys i would love to talk about that-

frustrated with the divide between “physical” and “mental” disability as two mutually exclusive groups. there’s is no clear cut way to define either without excluding some people. we can talk about specific issues without trying to exclude people who are part of just one group. “physical” disabilities can cause neuropsychiatric and cognitive symptoms. “mental” disabilities can cause very real physical symptoms.
I am not going “oh the brain is an organ so it’s a physical disability” here. I am saying the lines are much more blurred than psychological vs physical vs intellectual.
examples? MCAS is a “physical” disability of the immune system that can cause hives, joint pain & inflammation, cardiovascular symptoms, GI problems, interstitial cystitis, etc. it can also cause symptoms like intense anxiety and psychosis. autism is a “mental” disability associated with social issues, obsessive behavior and thoughts, impulsive decisions, etc. it can also cause motor coordination issues; GI symptoms; impact pain processing, proprioception, and interoception, etc. DID is “psychological” and comes with amnesia, disconnects from reality, identity issues, etc. it can also cause chronic fatigue, non-epileptic seizures, headache, chronic pain/differences in pain processing. POTS is a “physical” disability that causes syncope/presyncope, cardiovascular symptoms, poor temperature regulation, tremors, high norepinephrine (in hyperPOTS), etc. it also often causes cognitive issues/brain fog, poor concentration and memory, emotional dysregulation, etc.
disabled people frequently have classically physical symptoms like mobility issues, chronic pain, or any combination of GI/cardiovascular/neurological/immunological/other body system symptoms. disabled people frequently have classically neuropsychiatric symptoms like brain fog, PTSD from medical events, anxiety, depression, social difficulties, obsessive thoughts, poor memory or concentration, and other symptoms. the boxes these groups of symptoms fit in are rarely neat and tidy because the human experience does it like to be categorized easily.
trying to divide things like “this is ONLY about physical disabilities it doesn’t affect X/Y/Z” or “people with mental disabilities are the only ones affected by A/B/C”or any variation just divides the community. it can be more productive to talk about specific symptom groups than physical/mental which are broad, not clearly defined, and frequently overlap. e.g. “this conversation is about mobility disabilities” or “people with cognitive symptoms often experience Y and Z” instead of more arbitrary and often difficult to define labels. we are discovering more and more that “physical” disabilities can come with neuropsychiatric symptoms and comorbidities and “mental” disabilities can cause or frequently occur with more physical/physically documentable symptoms. this isn’t to say conversations about certain disability groups aren’t productive! they are! just that policing the borders between boxes is incredibly difficult without harming and excluding some of our community members.
